Every year, like every other year, we are here during Ramadan. Today, on the eve of Ramadan, we are distributing kits for the poor and the needy. A large number of people from all over the city came here, showing great enthusiasm. This year, actress, Sharlin Chopra, was also present. Now, regarding this kit distribution, what will be the next step, and what will the people be doing this Ramadan during the evenings and nights? We will try to discuss this with you. Welcome. Assalamu Alaikum.
Thank you very much for your news channel coming here to cover our event. I hope you enjoyed watching it because our event did not belong to any political party. This was an individually organized event of our foundation where we invited everyone. Along with us today was actress Sharlin Chopra, Imran Pawar from the Pawar Foundation, Wasim Khan from Yuva Ummeed Foundation, Dilshan Khan, and Dilshad Khan. Many people from the Mumbai hustle and bustle took time out to be here. Giving their time to such events is a big deal. My entire team worked very hard in preparing for this event. Because I feel that we at Health Care Foundation don't just believe in donating money. We put our best efforts. We work very hard, and each kit we prepared was a 10 kg kit. We included basmati rice, dal, sugar, salt, flour, oil, and tea leaves. We made 10 kg packets and distributed them to 2000 families.
A very special thing about today's event was that we very selectively chose those people who genuinely needed this ration. Our volunteers worked day and night for such people. We selectively gave those cards to such people. The areas are Borivali East, Borivali West, Jogeshwari, Mulund, Gawand, Trombay, DharaviтАФpeople from many different areas participated in today's event. We tried our best to treat everyone equally. This is how we completed today's task.
Today is Chaand Raat of Ramadan. So, what is your final message to the countrymen, to all the fasting people, and to the young people? Especially considering how they celebrate with fireworks at night and miss Taraweeh, and considering the current situation in the country. First of all, Chaand Raat Mubarak to all of you. Just as my brother, Imran Pawar, began with some words for me, he said, "I am very intelligent." Indeed, I am very intelligent. See, if we stay close to our religion, only then will we succeed in the world. So, my brother talked about prayer, of course. As long as we don't offer prayers and Taraweeh, because many people haven't considered it a duty in their lives. There are different clans among Muslims, and different clans offer prayers differently. But it's the month of worship. As I began, my brother said in two words at today's event that I am intelligent. So, certainly, the month of Ramadan has begun. Today was the first Ramadan, the first fast in Mecca and Medina. So, today, I pray that Allah makes successful the efforts of everyone who has worked with me, from packing each kit to delivering each kit. In the month of Ramadan, a good deed gets 70 times the reward, and similarly, a sin gets 70 times the punishment. So, make your intention. Like me, believe that you will do it. And certainly, Allah is the greatest; there is no greater king. So, if we Muslim children remain close to our religion, only then will we succeed in the world. If we are not close to our religion, how will we know that we are not like those artificial politicians who speak sweet words, garner votes in the name of the community. Whether it is about the community or any other party, they garner votes in the name of religion and look for their own benefit. But show me such a leader who, even once a month, gives ration kits to 100 widows in their area. The government has so many policies in place to do this work, but there is no such politician who does this work. Today, a woman came to me. As soon as she stood there, she said that she didn't have a card. Perhaps other media personnel have recorded this that she did not have a card. So, we asked her where she came from, and she said Jogeshwari. We didn't even go to Jogeshwari to distribute cards. I'm not saying I'm a big celebrity or that I do great work. The only problem is that I am connected to the people at the grassroots level, and I work for them. Therefore, the senior people, who consider themselves big, who spend lakhs of rupees on their boards and banners, but talk about the marriage of a poor girl, they don't have 5000 to donate. A curse on such boards and banners.
If you really want to do something, people say Zakat, Fitra. I haven't given Zakat, Fitra. I try my best. When Allah gave me the strength, I will talk about 2017, 18, 19, until my back was not broken. When Allah gave me strength, we used to distribute ration to 2000 families every month. This was not digested by the people of our area, my stronghold, the people around me. Even the big successful leaders of our community couldn't bear thisтАФthat why I stand alone on the road and distribute rations. It doesn't matter to me why your religion, Islam, is a religion that spreads love. We are taught that if we are going to distribute something, then first we have to look at our neighborhood, where we live. Who lives next to us? Whether they are Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, it doesn't matter to us. Our religion, our faith, teaches meтАФand not just me, every MuslimтАФto first look at your surroundings and see if anyone is hungry. You are eating biryani in your house. This tradition of sharing was taught to me by my grandfathers and fathers. We do this thinking that Allah has given us the ability to earn. We donate a large part of our earnings every month. We have black and white records of it. We do this with the intention that you should also try this. If people want to learn something by looking at me, this is my message: do one such thing every day that has nothing to do with you, no benefit for you, but you are doing it to help someone, and it benefits them greatly. Try doing this. Success will kiss your feet. Then, no matter how big a cannon is, who tries to erase your identity, they will not be able to do it.
My last question: As Ramadan is starting, for almost 12 months of the year, people do whatever they want for 11 months. Then, when Ramadan comes, out of fear of God, people fast. So, for 11 months, people are misguided, they don't see the greatness of God. As soon as Ramadan comes, they fast and pray. What is your message for those 11 months of misguided people, who are now also present in this Ramadan? Those who are far from God, by seeing the world, artificially. I explained both aspects of your question. The problem with our religion has become that people in our religion have thought that to be successful, we have to stay away from God for the world. If you move away from God, look, you are a Muslim. The first thing to remember is that you have decided to do worship and good deeds for one month of Ramadan, and you will not do anything bad. Keep this kind of strong faith for 12 months of the year. See, crime will decrease, happiness will come into your homes. Allah will give so much mercy and blessing in your livelihood that you will be able to manage 10 more homes besides your own. You distributed kits on the eve of Ramadan. What was the main purpose of thisтАФto help special people, to get media TRP, or something else? Whatever I can do, I do. If you open my phone, you will have one lakh contacts. But my only best friend, his name is Urjit, he is my very close friend. He gave me 5000 rupees the day before yesterday and wrote, "In Dua." He is the only one. Every year he gives this personally. Forget it, brother. I just told you, Allah had blessed me so much; we used to distribute every month. Now, look at the videos from last year. In 2023, we have done it five times. As my income will be, as my strength will be, I also have my own status. I don't ask anyone for anything. If I make a single call, the person on the other side will think, "What should I say?" You are the owner of a big, five-star hotel. See their reaction on my phone. They might have abused me, or you see posters and banners with the CM. People on my phone have abused me and are blocked. I won't say this is for TRP or media. It's true that media has called other people who are actually from the entertainment industry; these things matter to them. I go to Dharavi in the dark to distribute ration. My area is Bandra East. Who is the MLA of Bandra East? What do I have to do with him? If the slums fall there, I go from here, and I go there. Do you know how much ration I distributed? You won't even know because I don't know myself how much ration I have distributed. Brother, those who need it, who deserve it, and who don't have an earner, and who really need it, it is our duty to give it to them. Then, like the MLA of our area, I don't say that anyone can come here and ask for help. This is not in my understanding, neither inside nor outside. You don't even cooperate in the work that should be within your understanding. I'll talk about many other big leaders. I don't know; they have a strange kind of fear. Either their sins have increased or my good deeds have increased. What is the fear of? Why are they afraid of me? I don't do politics. Have you seen my tongue? And the biggest curse is the pen. Ramadan Mubarak.
Thank you very much. The Dabang Shanam Sheikh of Mumbai is with us. Every year during Ramadan, she distributes rations to the needy and targets politics. From her words and style, it seems that there will be a fire. There are many homes here; this is not just our house. It's the truth. We will show you the news behind the news that you only see. Keep watching Satya Aaj Tak from Mumbai. Thank you. Shukriya. Thank you. Thank you so much.
