So, this is a passive right now. We are talking about the passive. How do I play a passive? So, I send one villager immediately to the mill building. Then I send the rest of Well, of course, to the berries.

For me, it's much easier because I need to talk with the dance on the Twitch chat. So, that's what I'm doing. Then I'm sending villager to the gold. And I'm also we'll check his base if he's doing some dark age trickery.

If my opponent is rushing me in the dark age with Spearman, like let's say there is a high chance that this or that civilization is rushing you in the dark age, then instead of building down my house of wisdom, I going to build here a tower, right? So, that's why it's so good as well to check his Check his base. Check what he does. If you don't see villager on gold or you see a villager approaching you menacingly, then just build a tower. And after that, you just going to get your 50 wood and build a house of wisdom. You know what I mean?

So, right now, um Oh, sorry. What I wanted Okay, sorry. What I wanted to say is get a little bit of wood when you see it. Put down the tower. And after that, get a little bit more wood to build a house of wisdom. So, that's what I wanted to say.

Or or there's a really really good way to play it. If you don't put a mill, so you don't go berries, then you will have 100 wood. You will have 100 wood if you skip berries. But for that, you need to learn which civilization can do dark age rush. I give you some good example. Japanese, Ottoman, HRE, Mongols. This is the four or House of Lancaster. These five civilizations is the like the main dark age rushing civilization. Sometimes Katie does dark age rush as well. But not always. So, the five main rushing civilization is House of Lancaster, Japanese, Mongol, Ottoman. Wait, what which was the And Mongols, yeah. So, that That's the five dark age rushing civilization where it's fine to skip out the mill and uh instead of the mill, just build a tower on your gold. That's perfectly fine. There is no problem with it.

So, now I did not go to dark age rushed, but I will get a crazy amount of feudal pressure. Now, this game is really good against civilization that has minute arm in the feudal age because so many people trying to claim that there is no counter to the feudal minute arm, which there is. There is actually a counter to the feudal minute arm, which is archers. So, just keep making archers.

So, now I'm aging up with the um economic wing. I'm slowly heading towards to build my second TC. So, my opponent is building the barracks here as you see. Cuz he want to do some rush rush against me. I'm gathering up the stone for my second TC. And I will build it very very close. You will see how close I will build it. But I saw that okay, he is doing some really good timing on those hospitaler knights. He's even building an outpost on me to prevent future outpost around my base. Putting some extra villagers off from food to make sure I can build that second town center in time. Okay, I have the stone. And I will place the second town center immediately. I mean, placing it here or here, both are really good idea. This one also protect the main TC protects the second TC. So, I was like, all right, I'm going to put it there. That's That's a fine location.

Meanwhile, he's keep pumping the hospitaler knight in feudal. Which again, they are knights. And they are a little bit more HP. They have a little bit more HP than a normal minute arm. But of course, they have a little bit less armor. I mean, a lot less armor. Less on melee and less on ranged. But it should be still fine. Because instead they don't have that much of armor, but they can heal. So, that's really important.

So, now I speed up my food and wood villagers. So, the reason behind that cuz we will add production buildings and farms in the feudal age. So, you need to build farms as well. Since you are playing like a whole English style. What is whole English style? Is that your farm is also cheap just like English. Okay, not that instantly cheap because English is like what? 45, 35? It's Whatever. But you also have faster gathering. You have 50 15% faster gathering without upgrading anything. I You don't need to get immediately the double broadax or the horticulture. If you just reach golden age level one, tier one, you going to get your 50% faster, which is again, is the same as upgrading your first Well, not really upgrading your first You can't upgrade it because they are only 10%, but close to it. Unless if you upgrading double broadax cuz that's 15%.

So, now building production building building farms. So, like I'm spitting up, right? So, I'm building a few production building building a few farms. After that, building more production building building more farms. But I'm just making sure my economy stays clean. And I can make everything without a problem. Sending out a few archers because I was scouting his base. I did not see that he has stable. So, since he doesn't have stable, let's do some damage to his villagers, right? And this is very very important when you are playing against someone. When they When they are putting a pressure on you, they are on the map, right? Just like in this scenario. My man, he put pressure on me. So, he's thinking he can freely get the resources on the map. He loses one villager. He loses a second villager. >> [groaning] >> And then maybe then maybe loses another villager. So, he lost three villager already. Look at the villager number difference. 35 to 23 because when Katie ages up, they lose three villager already on the age up. And he also researched pilgrims. Well, that's another one villager. So, Katie age up plus pilgrim equals four villager behind, right? But then I'm on two TC as well. So, that's pumping the villagers for me.

So, now I'm just mainly making archers and slowly making a few horsemen as well to counter his his archers. But as you can see, archers are really good against minute arm type of units. But if they have a great number, you should not stay there and open your legs and like, all right, brother, come in. When they have a great number, try to match your numbers as well. Because small amount of archer will not counter any kind of minute arm. Good amount of archer will do. As you see, I'm on three farms already, building production buildings. I still have a good amount of sheep. I'm spending my resources making archers. I made a few camel archer as well because they have instantly good base damage. And because of the instantly good base damage, they do very very well against the minute arm type of units. Like very very well. >> [screaming] >> Slowly sniping out of the archers. And his minute arms are on the way, which was uh >> [screaming] >> problematic and complicated. But because he split up the minute arm, I was like, okay, that's fine. Snipe out one minute arm. And go around.

So, now because he's focusing on the middle of the map, I had the time to sneak out some villager and gather gold. Like he tower rushed only the main gold. I mean, my first gold. But I was like, okay. So, he has more time to spend to protect himself. So, this is my time to sneak out a little bit and get the gold. So, that's what I do. Meanwhile, my camel archers were focusing down on the minute arm. If your opponent leaves his minute arm on the map open without like archers or you see where the minute arms are being made, those camel archers can terminate the minute arm very very very very fast. From the very start. I was like, okay, I don't need to build more farms a little bit. So, I have open source resource food on the map. So, let's do that. Let's send a few villagers as well. Let's gather some deer, right? Cuz as you see, I'm non-stop spending my wood. It's not like I'm banking a crazy amount of wood and not spending it. I made some archers making horsemen. Targeting his archers. >> [cheering] >> Sadly, he had plus one plus one already. So, he was doing much better against my my archers. But we are trading. We are trading. You can see my resource value is not even bad. I have 3,000. He has 1,900. >> [screaming] >> 3,200 to 2,100. So, the trade the military trade trading his military was instantly good for me here even though I didn't have blacksmith upgrades yet. I have higher military number, higher villager number. I have everything higher. And started building even more farms around my TC. So, I was giving a thought for myself that I need to save up a little bit of wood and build a ram to destroy this cuz this is very very annoying. But I going to do that a little bit later on. I sent a few villager even more to this a deer camp. Cuz I kind of want to go to Castle Age as well. Like I need a certain time where I tell myself, "Okay, it's it's enough. We are not making more units." But this was the perfect timing for that. This fight. I was like, "Okay, like we are straight time, baby." I lost a few camel archer that was doing the main in DPS to the man-at-arms. But I was like, "That's fine. If I just kill this army, I mean I'm in the control, baby."

So, now as you can see, my resources are banked up very very well. Look at the resource per minute. That's perfect. And here, I was like, "Okay, I I push him in like insanely in." So, let's chill down a little bit. Let's gather up all the resources we need. And we're going to be fine. We're just getting the deer. I'm getting wood by the way as well. This way I have some spare gold in the bank. Looking with the horseman. Look at that. Sending horseman here. Just I don't want to give him that feeling that, "Okay, I'm aging up, right?" If I don't show up anymore or I'm not being aggressive, then it gives him the feeling that, "Oh my god, this player is actually aging up. I mean in danger. I need to baboon him. I don't want him to baboon me." You can see I have a plenty of six farm already. Oh, farms here as well. I forgot to show you. See? I'm spending the wood into the farm. I have killed five villager of his so far. So, we are at the state where I don't need to make more military unit. Even if I lose this fight here, but I trade very very well, I don't make more units. I just stop. Stop making units. You can go up into military wing. That's good. Culture wing, that's good as well. You can use both of them. Get to the Castle Age. With culture wing, you get faster Imperial. With military wing, you get stronger units and very very strong archers. So, it's up to you which one you choose. Also, your town center and keeps can heal in Castle Age. So, doing an insanely good trade meanwhile I had the resource in my bank. I raided his wood line as well. So, I'm really making him to focus everywhere on his base. Cuz if he doesn't do, then well, he pay the price.

Now as you can see, I choose a military wing cuz I can age up, get the composite bows as well for all these archers. I have a lot of archer. I'm heading back to my base. Meanwhile, I'm showing my units that I'm circling around. So, this is like a psychological warfare, right? Cuz he sees that my units are running around. I don't need to deep dive in. Like I don't need to be like a dolphin, right? So, so just don't dolphin in. Instead of that, just show some psychological warfare, which is like showing up your horseman here and there. And he will focus his army there. So, now he's pushing out to get to the deer cuz he is really uh you know, run out of food. He doesn't have food at all. Made a ram destroying the tower of my base cuz you know, that's free up that gold. That's free up that food. So, this is a scenario as well. Orange player can think like, "Oh, no. He just started to gather gold. So, I'm still in a a wheelchair. Oh, no, no. A driving seat." But actually, he is in the wheelchair wheelchair, not the driving seat. Since now his brain gets this message of I am not gathering gold, right? Pink player is not gathering gold. Meanwhile, he never scouted this. So, he does not know that I was gathering gold the whole time. He is trying to look for it, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. So, you can see here right click. He right click the deer. He didn't even right click the gold. He never assumed that I'm here and getting gold. He is looking for the deer. But now I aged up into Castle Age. I have a lot of barracks. I immediately queue up gulam. I make composite bow. I'm getting archer upgrade. I'm getting horseman upgrade. And he gives up. Uh Age of Empires IV is not just all about uh uh microing and macroing your army, but trying to be smarter than your opponent. Uh well, that's how I play a bassinet.
