Demons and Deliverance || Sunday Sermon Kris Vallotton

[Applause] Bob Jones told me many years ago that Lou Engle was the most important person alive on the earth today. Well, I didn't say like that. He's like Lou the most important person in the world. Yep. More like that.

But uh, you know, this guy, I don't know. We've, we've been hanging out a lot over the years and uh, we've been to dinner about, I don't know, probably six times now. And the five times he was fasting, so I fasted too. I ate really quickly. It's just, don't even get me started. Yeah.

But uh, I'm so uh, proud of Lou and and his team. And I really believe that we saw the shift in abortion from two decades, three decades of prayer. I really believe that uh, Lou and what he does has made so much difference in our country, and I'm really excited about it. And I just heard our governor, this is a, you know, a sign the size of a, you know, cloud the size of a man's hand. But I heard our governor two weeks ago, he um, actually came out against transgender men running against, I mean, competing against women. And I was like, "Oh my gosh, Jesus is coming back any anytime soon." So, uh, we've been praying for our governor for a long time.

So, why don't you grab a hand and we're going to pray. And you can also get a date this way. I do this all the time. By the way, I think over 20 marriages have happened this way. So, that's right. So, you know what? I have great faith for this. This is a whole lot better than, you know, harmony.com or whatever that is.

So, Holy Spirit, I just pray that you would just give men courage right now in Jesus' name, Lord. That you would, they would open their eyes. Open the eyes of our heart, Lord. Yes. That was for the men right there and for the women. Open the eyes of our heart. Yeah. In Jesus' name. And Lord, I pray that you would anoint the speaker today and you'd anoint the congregation and all of our, all of our congregation online. I just bless this night in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.

Well, I want to talk about deliverance tonight. So, we'll just see how it goes. And uh, uh, you know, we don't inhabit this planet. We cohabit this planet. The Bible teaches us that we don't inhabit the planet Earth. We actually cohabit this planet. And we actually cohabit this planet with angels and demons. And sometimes uh, you know, oftentimes what's invisible is tangible. Oftentimes what seems invisible is often tangible. And I think we'd be surprised if we, if we actually, if our eyes were open and we saw how, how much the spirit realm is actually, I call it the second heaven, is actually infecting and affecting the first heaven. I think we'd be surprised how much the, what's happening in the demonic realm and what's happening in the angelic realm is actually affecting your thinking and mine. In fact, Ephesians 2 says, "The spirit of the power of the air that's now working in the sons of disobedience."

And I, and I um, you know, I hesitate to tell my story over and over and over again because really, I get really tired of telling it. But I, I was demonized for three and a half years. We'll just start there. And uh, I had a nervous breakdown when I was 22 years old, 1977. Lasted three and a half years. And um, it was so severe. I, I had, you know, you know, five, six, seven, eight, 10 panic attacks a day. I was just about incapacitated. I did work every day, but I had really intrusive thoughts. I had uh, I, I started when I got out of the bathtub one night, as I was getting out of the bathtub, I had this intrusive thought that that I was going to die. And it wasn't like, you know, how many of you know everyone's going to die someday? Like, this is how you're going to get to the next level. It wasn't, it wasn't the acknowledgement that I was going to die someday. I know I'm going to die. You, you should know that you're going to die someday. Some of you, well, maybe Jesus comes back and you're just like, whoa, that'd be good. I hope, hope it happens for you. It wasn't that kind of thought. It was, it, it felt like someone put a gun to my head and said, "I'm going to kill you." And my, my heart started pounding. I didn't know that I was having a panic attack. I'd never had a panic attack in my life. And I fell back into the tub. I started yelling for my wife, who was eight months pregnant. And I, I was yelling, "I'm having a heart attack. I'm having a heart attack." And she went as fast as she could into the bathroom. Short story is, we called our doctor, who was a friend of mine. And he, and he, you know, asked about my symptoms and then he calmed her down and said, "He's not having a heart attack. He was having a panic attack." And uh, that sounds like a lot better symptom. That sounds like a lot, a lot better diagnosis, but actually, it was uh, it was, it was quite terrible.

And we were living in the Bay Area. Um, and after about a year of panic attack after panic attack, sweat the bed, wet. My wife would change the sheets in the middle of the night 'cause I would sweat the bed, wet. Slept about an hour and a half a night for over a year. So we decided to move to Weaverville. That's why we ended up in Weaverville because we had to go someplace slow. We actually ended up in Lewiston. Most of you wouldn't even know where Lewiston is. It's about 15 minutes from Weaverville. 900 people in the whole town. So, we went from San Jose, California to Lewiston. There was 900 people. Instead of getting better, I got way worse. And uh, I started seeing demons and they would knock pictures off the wall, turn lights on and off. And I could see my, the, my eyes were open to the demonic realm. And I could physically see demons talking to people. I couldn't go into a restaurant, or if I drove a car, I had to have all the windows down because I had terrible claustrophobia. And um, and uh, if I went into any public place, I could see demonic, I can actually see with my eyes demonic spirits talking to people and I can see people behaving out of what they were saying to them. And I had this, um, probably the most, the, the greatest struggle was I had deeply intrusive thoughts, things I won't even tell you what most of them were, but I would have these videos running in my mind of me doing horrible things, the most horrible things you could think of. And it felt like someone else was running the video camera that would just start spontaneously. And I would feel like there was no way to turn them off and they would last for two or three minutes and I would break out in a sweat and panic. And about the time I'd get over those, a couple hours, another one would start, just watching me do horrible things.

And um, one night we were in Lewiston and I, I was really doing really bad. I couldn't keep food down. And I lost about 40 pounds. And I, I uh, was laying down in in the front room. I still remember like it was yesterday. It was 3 feet of snow on the ground. It was a moonless night, which in Lewiston in the woods when you, when there's a moonless night, you can't see anything. Like there's not like street lights someplace that kind of light something up. And I was laying on the floor. I couldn't sleep. So I went out in the front room and we had a big stereo. And this is before Walkman. I know some of you can't even believe there's, there was a world before, you know, iPhones and iPods and I, everything. And my, I had two little kids at the time. So I went in the front room, pitch dark. I turned on the stereo. We had this big stereo and I turned it really low and I put my head against the speaker just to get my mind off of the video that was running in my mind. And a man on the, and by the way, I was radically saved at 18. So all of this happened while I knew the Lord. And I had my head against the radio, which was very staticky 'cause we were in the mountains. And I heard a man say, "God hasn't given us the spirit of fear, but love, power, and sound mind." Now, I have to tell you, I knew the Bible pretty well. My mentor when I got saved said, "You read the Bible every day." So I, I read and studied the Bible. I heard that verse. I knew that verse by heart. Said, "God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but love, power, and sound mind." And then he said this. He says, "Some of you think you're going insane, but actually you're listening to a spirit of insanity." And he said this. He said, "Spirits give you the," he said, "Spirits talk to you by giving you their thoughts and then accuse you of having them."

And I turned the radio off. And see, I was raised in the Jesus movement and I was taught that Christians could not be oppressed. I don't know what you need the armor of God for. I don't know what they did with our struggles not against flesh and blood. I don't know what they did with 2 Corinthians. "The weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty for the pulling down of strongholds." None of those. Nobody ever taught me anything about warfare. And so suddenly this man on the radio says, "Some of you think you're going insane, but actually you're listening to a spirit of insanity." So I'm laying on my back. It's pitch dark, fighting off a panic attack. And I said, "God, what should I do?" He said, "Tell the spirit of fear and the spirit of insanity to leave you." Now, I'd already been three and a half years tormented. So, you know, when you're, when you have symptoms that are that serious, you don't think it's going to go away because you repeat a prayer. But I'm like, what do you have to lose? So, I laid on my back that night and I said, "You spirit of fear and you spirit of insanity, leave me right now in Jesus' name." And I saw, I told you I saw demons all the time. They really would lift, knock pictures off the wall, turn lights on and off. I, the phone would ring. I'd pick it up. There'd be someone with seances. This didn't happen once. This happened 20, 30 times. Kathy would pick up the phone, there'd be seances on the phone. And so I, so I said, "You spirit of fear, spirit of insanity, leave me right now." And it felt like, if you've ever went to the dentist and you have one of those lead, uh, kind of vests they put on you, it felt exactly like that. It felt like there was a weight over all my body from my big toe all the way to my head and it got up off of me. And when it did, my mind instantly came back. And for, for a solid week, I was completely peaceful. Like, like, I'll tell you what happened to me. I had a deep revelation that my problem was completely demonic. I never knew that before.

I was driving home from Weaverville to Lewiston and I was, I was laughing and singing in my Jeep again. Dark, dark out. And I said, "I'm going to tell everyone that you're a loser." And a voice in my mind, not audibly, said, "If you tell anyone, I'll kill you." And all the panic came back and I pulled over my Jeep. I couldn't drive. And I'm sitting there and I'm shaking and I'm, I, I am so out of my mind. I, I'm thinking I, I have about five miles home and I'm like, "I don't know how I'm gonna get home." And uh, I heard this small voice, my, another voice in my mind and said, "Does the devil hate you?" I'm like, "Clearly." And he said, "Why didn't he kill you the day that you got saved?" And I, like, this was like a whisper, but it was so profoundly powerful. I said, "I don't know." He said, "Cuz he can't. His power is an illusion." And all of the fear and all the symptoms left.

And then I had another three years of learning. I learned how to get free and now I had to learn how to stay free. And um, and I would go weeks with complete peace and then I would go through warfare. And I, I, I learned how to move from oppression to warfare. By the way, there is a difference between oppression and warfare. I, I'd propose that warfare is normal if you're doing anything for God. Let me say that again. I propose that warfare is normal for a Christian if you're doing anything for God. In fact, I'd be a little concerned if you don't know what I'm talking about because I love what Bill said. I don't know if it's his quote, but he said he, he, he said something. I can't remember what he said. He said, 'If you don't encounter a demon once in a while, you might be going the same way.' And sometimes people live in perfect peace always, and I just wonder if they're doing anything worth resisting. So, I'd like to point out that warfare is normal in certain seasons of life. Uh, there is a big difference between warfare and oppression. Warfare is when you're moving into new territory that the enemy wants to inhabit. If you don't ever have any resistance, I would wonder if you're taking new territory. But in simple terms, oppression is when you open a door or a door is opened for you, rape, molestation, things like that where you open a door and you actually invite the enemy in.

How many know Jesus said, "All authority has been given to me." It's Matthew 20. In heaven and on earth. Therefore, you make disciples of all nations. And Jesus said in Acts chapter 1, "Don't leave Jerusalem until you receive power from on high." So, how many understand we have authority? It's the word *exousia* in the Greek. And we have power. The devil has power. By the way, the devil's not powerless. He has power. But greater is he who's in you than he's in the world. Luke 9, Jesus said, "I'm going to give you power over all the power of the enemy." It's the word *dunamis*. We get our, we get our English word dynamite from it. So, the devil has *dunamis* and you have *dunamis*. You have more *dunamis* than he has. So, think about authority and and uh, and um, power like this. A police officer comes in here. He has a gun. He has *dunamis*. He has power. But he has a badge. He has *exousia*. He has authority to use his gun. The devil, he has a knife. You have an M16. He has no authority to use his knife. You have all authority. The only way the devil gets to use his power is when you deputize him. Did you hear what I just said? The devil. And the devil, that's God and the devil all mixed together. And that was not holy. The devil has no authority on earth unless humans give him authority. And we deputize him every time we sin against God. Every time we fear. How many know fear? How many know the whole spirit world works on on faith? Like the demonic realm and the kingdom realm work by faith. Fear is faith in the wrong God. You can't have fear without faith. Think about it. I've used this example hundreds of times. Think about a little boy comes up to me and says, "I'm going to beat you up." I have no anxiety. I don't believe he can. Some gangster comes up and and wants to assault me and I have anxiety. Why? Because I believe he can do damage to me. I'm saying if you have fear, you actually, fear is actually a manifestation that I put faith in the wrong kingdom. And what I've done every time I have fear, and by the way, we've all done it. Every time I have fear, except for the fear of the Lord, every time I have fear, I've actually said to the devil, who has no badge, "Here's a badge. Use your power against me." Isaiah 54 says, "Oppression will be far from you, for you will not fear." Think of what it says. Oppression will be far from you, for you will not fear. What happens when you fear? You attract oppression. I attract oppression. Are you with me?

I, I just want to give a little plug right now. I felt to do it. We are, I, I would love to see about half the people in this room in BSSM. Like, this is the crowd that needs to be in BSSM. Like, if you love this, you would love what's happening on campus. You would love it. And I, I'll say to some of our, our congregation online, like, you should come here. The Kings are coming. You should come and be a part of BSSM. Get free, stay free, and help other people get free. Become a freedom fighter. You know, somebody said, "It's not what happens to you that really scares you. It's the stories you make up in your mind about what you think will happen. It's not what happens to you that actually scares you. It's the stories you make up about what you believe will happen to you."

And so I, I want to talk a little bit about um, deliverance tonight. So I, I, I'll tell you uh, my story. So after I got free and was learning to stay free and mostly stayed free, um, I, I didn't tell anyone. Like, I didn't even tell my wife what was going on in my mind. I don't think she'd want to sleep in bed next to me if she knew what was going on in my crazy mind. And so I had pretty much, she knew I was having panic attacks. Of course, she knew I wasn't functioning, but she didn't actually understand what was happening to me. And uh, and so one day, Bill, on on a Sunday morning, Bill got sick in our little town of Weaverville. And he preached 52 times a year if he was well. And he called me and said, "I want you to take Sunday." I'm like, "Okay, I've been waiting for you to get sick for a long time." I didn't actually tell him that, but that was a, a secret sin of mine. It's not a secret anymore. Anyway, so um, I, I decided that I would tell my story. I hadn't told my story to anyone. And I, I was really nervous about telling my story because um, in those days, they put you in mental hospitals for what was happening to me. And I didn't tell anybody my story because we had two little kids and I didn't want to be in a mental hospital. So I was really nervous. Our church was probably, I don't know, it's probably 120 people at the time, maybe a little bit larger than that. And I started just telling my story. The first part of what I just shared with you, the first 10 minutes, I told that story for the first time. I'd never told a human that story. Not a single human. And I was profusely sweating thinking about what are people going to think of me when I tell them about my last three years. And uh, when I got done, I said, "If you need prayer, come forward." And the almost the entire church came forward. And in, in, you know, Weaverville is a different place, of course. People go there, we had two kinds of people there. We had people escaping in the Bay Area who had very similar stories as mine. And we had people that grew up, like, did you ever see that movie Deliverance? Did you see that movie Deliverance? Well, that was about a third of our congregation. And those are the only kind of people that moved to Weaverville. So I told, so I told my story and people lined up. I mean, they just were weeping. And all for the rest of the day, I heard similar stories. I had panic attacks. I had, I saw demons. I get choked at night. I was having all those symptoms. I'd wake up and I would be choking. I couldn't, I couldn't talk. And Kathy would lean over and rebuke the spirit that's on me and I'd finally get free. I had all kinds of weird things happen. Some of the things I probably hesitate to tell you with, while we're streaming. The weirdest things happen. There's a whole world of weird that I had never been told about. And I would say the average Christian, and actually the average pastor, does not actually understand the spirit world. Let me just be clear. I don't pretend that I understand the whole spirit world. I've had enough uh, experience with the spirit world that I know that I don't know. But we read things in the Bible and uh, I think we sanitize the Bible. Like we read things and we, we tell, we read the story as if it was like, no big deal. And then it happens to you.

And I, I've had demons come in my room. I remember for about four months, a demon came in my room and he was, had big red eyes, about this big, two red eyes. And he would just sit at the edge of my bed and torment me. And I tried all my tools on him and nothing worked. I rebuked him. I fasted. I prayed. I fasted. Lou, you would be proud of me. I think I went 24, 26 hours. It was tormenting. I was desperate. And after about four or five months, I said, 'Lord, I don't know what to do.' And he said, 'I, I want you to try, I,' he said, 'I want you to use the power of ignore on him.' And I'm like, 'Where is that in the Bible?' He said, 'Philippians 1 says, "Don't be alarmed by your opponent." Don't be alarmed by your opponent. It's salvation to you and it's and it's and its power against him. It's, it, it's salvation to you and it's destruction to him.' So he came in the room the next night. Had been going on for like four months. And I, I wake up in a panic, having terrible dreams. And he's at my foot of my bed. And I just woke up and I looked at him, my heart is pounding. And I go, "Oh, it's just you." Put the covers over my head and went to sleep. Well, that's not true. I put the covers over my head and pretended to go to sleep. And he never came back. [Applause]

So I um, when I, after I told my story, people started coming to my house and and I mean spontaneously knocking on my door like, "Hey, that, that message you shared, like, that's my life and I have a cousin who has the same problem. Could you pray for us?" And so I had never done a deliverance before. I had been in the Jesus movement watching other people do a deliverance when I was newly saved. And that meant people falling on the floor, throwing up, crawling like snakes with about 15 people. You shouting over them, "The blood of Jesus sets you free." I don't think anyone ever got free, but it was really, it was really entertaining. So people started coming to my house and there they wanted to get delivered like, "We heard your story and I, I'd like to get delivered." And I'm like, "Okay, good."

I remember the first deliverance I ever did was by accident. I owned a '76 station and I was mentoring this young man. He was a, he was the first homosexual I'd ever met. I never had met a homosexual. This is a long time ago, probably around, I don't know, 40 years ago. And uh, he was all messed up. He had been molested by his father for years. He was, he was one of the, "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow" kids. He was born and raised in the back woods and he was messed up. And uh, he comes, so and he was in four car wrecks in one year, just, just to let you know, like he was just tormented. And so I, I'm, quote, mentoring him. I led him to Christ. I think, I think I did. He prayed the prayer, but I, I don't know what happened exactly. But he comes to my service station one day. It's, it's summertime. It's like, we got cars backed up. It's like, it's crazy town. And and he walks in and he's like, "I, I, I need you to pray for me." And I'm like, "I'll call him Henry." His name was Henry. I said, "Henry, I can't talk to you right now. I got 50 cars lined up. We're swamped. I just need you to pray. You just, if you just pray for me for one minute, just pray peace over me. I'll be fine." And I'm like, "Not now." He's like, "Please, just..." I'm like, "All right, I'm going to take you in the back room. We're going to pray one minute." I said, "One minute and that's it. And you're leaving." And he's in a complete panic. So, we go in the back room. Now, we own, we owned a station built in the '50s, so you know how small they were. And uh, and the back room was, it had a big compressor. Do you guys know what a compressor is? Had a big compressor. And it had a, it was wide enough that you could walk, uh, it's like a walk-in closet. And on one side there was uh, shelves all the way to the ceiling and other side shelves all the way to the ceiling and or air filters on one side and oil filters stacked to the sky and very little room in there. So I take him in the back. Compressor's going. You can't hear anything. I close the door. I put my hand on him and I'm going to pray. "In the name of Jesus, I release peace over you. Now go." And I put my hand on him and before I could say Jesus, he grabs me by the neck and and and in a, in a voice that wasn't coming from his mouth but from his stomach, he started going, "I hate you. I'm going to kill you." And I'm like, and he has me by the throat and and then and he's biting me. And I'm like, "The blood of Jesus sets you free. The blood of Jesus sets you free." But it's like, "The blood of Jesus sets you free." You know, I had no idea what to do. And uh, I just heard, "The blood of Jesus set you free." Bill said, "The blood of Jesus set you free." So I'm just screaming, "Blood of Jesus set you free." And he's like, "I'm going to kill you. The blood of Jesus sets you free." So he's biting me and he's scratching me and I'm trying to like, you know, lay hands on him kindly. And and finally we're wrestling around and I'm like, "Okay, this isn't working." So I grab him by the throat and like he's about this tall, but he's like three times stronger than me and he's throwing me everywhere. And I'm like, "The blood of Jesus sets me free." We we finally end up on the floor and I, and he has me by the throat and I have him by the throat and I'm choking and he's choking me and I'm like, "In Jesus name, I rebuke." He's like, and he kicks the, the shelves and all the shelves fall down and the air filters and oil filters fall on top of us and we're literally under the air filters and oil filters and he's got me and we're wrestling around. He's rips my shirt off. I, I, it looked like freaking Rambo. And I'm still going, "Blood of Jesus, let's be free." And he's like, "I'm going to kill you." Well, my manager, who's a guy 6'4" and really good shape, he hears all the ruckus and he opens the door and he can't get it open because the air filters and oil filters are and he forces the door open and we're, we're under him. So, I let go of my friend and I hold my hand up and I'm like, "Run here." And he goes, "Oh, looks like you got it handled." and closes the [Applause] door. So there we go. I know. I was trained by the sons of Kea. I'm telling you, we rolled around. I don't know. The whole thing probably lasted 7, 8, 10 minutes, not longer than that, but it felt forever. And finally, I'm still, we're still rolling around under the, under there, and I, I'm, I'm choking him. He's choking me. He's biting me. He's scratching me. And I'm like, "The blood of Jesus sets me free. I rebuke the spirit of whatever is on you. I don't know. I was just calling out whatever." And all of a sudden, he stops and he goes, "Ah, it's gone." It's like that. And then we stand up and he's like, "Thank you." I walk out of the back room. No lie. My shirt's ripped off. There's blood running down my face. We're, the floor is all greasy. So, we're covered in grease. And I walk out and my manager goes, "Whoa, bro. That was a prayer [Applause] meeting." That was my very first attempt at deliverance.

I, I'll tell you one more. You want to hear one more story? So, I started doing deliverances. Kathy and I started doing deliverances. By the way, Kathy's done two deliverances the last month or two. And uh, she's like the woman that demons fear. That woman. And so do I. So I, I get, very much how that works. We're at a Randy Clark conference and uh, and uh, we still lived in Weaverville. We came here for the conference and we're sitting way in the back. We got here late. And Randy starts doing a public deliverance and he's like, "The spirit of whatever's on you." And this young beautiful woman, she's probably 28 years old. She starts manifesting full on like, "Whoa!" And uh, and the ushers come, you know, because, you know, Bethel doesn't know what to do with these people either. So they, they grab her, six of them, and she's just like freaking out. And Bill looks up and he sees me in the back and he goes, "Go help them." So I'm like, "All right." So they take her into the um, into the dining room and they, they held her. By the time I got there, they had her held down and she was just freaking out on her back and they were all, they were holding, six guys were holding her and she was just like throwing them off. She was super strong. And I walk in there and I'm like, "The man of power for the hour." And I go, you know, anointed by an apostle. Go. I send you. Go help. So I stand there and I go, "Let her go." And they go, "Oh, no, no, no, no, no. What?" I go, "No, let her go." I said, "In Jesus name, let her go." They go, "No, I said, I said Bill sent me. Let her go." They let her go and without hesitation, within 3 seconds, she springs to her feet and kicks me in the chest and bruises all my ribs. And I'm like, "Pull her [Applause] down. Pull her down." You know, you ever had your ribs cracked? So, I'm like, I can't breathe. Like, hold her down. Hold her down. Turns out she's the three-time world women's karate [Applause] champion. She got delivered, came to our school ministry, met her husband, got married, and never kicked me again. So I was trained by the sons of Skia.

I remember I was in YWAM and I was telling, like, I was at YWAM in in um, Hawaii, I think. And I was telling these failed stories like when I started. Like I have like 50 of them. And I'm telling these stories just making the students laugh. 'Cause you're with them for five days. And this young man stands up, he can't take it anymore. And he goes, "When I tell demons to leave, they leave in the name of Jesus." I said, "That's awesome. How many deliverances have you done?" He said, "Two." I said, "Beginner's luck, dude."

I remember we were doing a deliverance at my house and my kids were little, like they were like uh, they're probably like four, six, and eight. And all these deliverances, people were coming and going like on just two or three, four a night. And we're doing this deliverance on this lady and and as soon as we, I, Kathy and I started praying for her, her head turned completely backwards. Like, not, it didn't spin around. It turned completely backwards. And her arms, they bent backwards. And her leg, her to, her feet went the opposite direction that she has. And and I went, "Whoa!" While my kids, who are supposed to be asleep, are on the loft upstairs watching this whole thing happen. Yeah. By the time my kids were teenagers, they knew there was a devil and they prayed there was a God.

I remember the, the month Danny Silk got saved, he ended up in my youth group. Well, he was college age, but I led him to the Lord. So he was coming to my youth group. And I had 12 disciples that I was discipling, and I had about 60 kids that would come to my youth group every night. No, every Wednesday night. So, this um, mentally uh, ill uh, young man um, he looked like a wolf. He actually physically looked like a wolf. He uh, his mom called and said, "Do you think," and I'll call him Joe. His name wasn't Joe. "Do you, would it be okay for Joe to come to your youth group and, you know, he's mentally ill?" I'm like, "Yeah, I know." She's like, "I just like to see if maybe he'd get well because we had all these testimonies of people getting delivered and well." And I said, "Well, he can come once and we'll just see how it goes." So we got this, my, that's that Wednesday night, my front room is packed with kids. There's probably 50, 60 kids. And I sit Sam right next to me. And Sam looks physically like a wolf. And he got demonized on heroin. He had, he, he got on heroin one time and he never came out of it. So, he's a nice, you know, like if you're around him, he's a nice kid, but he's just um, mentally ill. So, he's sitting there and we start worshiping and he turns to a girl next to him. I don't know what he says to her, but she's like, "Get away from me. Get away from me." And I'm like, "Hey, what are you doing?" He's asking me to have sex with him. I'm like, "Sam, no." So I move him over here and he asks the girl on the other side if he can have sex with her. And so he's, he's a disruption. So now, now the kids are all freaking out because, you know, this girl yells, "He's trying to have sex with me." And I'm like, "And he looks like a wolf." I mean, he looks literally like a wolf. He's got hair everywhere. And so I tell my 12 disciples, I say, "Hey, take Sam in the bedroom and start praying for him and I'll come in there in a few minutes and I'll teach you how to do deliverance." And I'm thinking, I hope. Well, so about 10 of them went in the bedroom waiting for him. And when they get him to the bedroom, he realizes that he's going to get, he's, something's going to happen. So he freaks out. He runs back into the front room where we're at. And he's growling. He's, he's going, but not his mouth isn't moving. It's coming from his stomach, which is so freaky when somebody is not moving their mouth and you hear, "Who." So all of a sudden, all my kids get baptized in the Holy Spirit. They're laying on the floor. I'm there just praying in tongues. Shut up. That was, it was great. And Sam runs up the stairs where my little kids are and he's chasing my kids into the bedroom. So I run up there and I grab him and I drag him down the stairs and he's, and my, and I get him outside. So, I get them outside and I have Kathy lock the door because he's just freaking out. And it's a moonless night and we live in the woods. And I tell my disciples, "Come out to the deck." So, they come out to the deck. And Danny Stokes been saved one month. And the rest of my disciples, they're like, "I'm going home. This is freaking me out." I said, "Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no." And Danny goes, "This is like the book of [Applause] Acts." He's like, so excited. He's like, "This is like the book of Acts." So Sam comes off the deck and he's, he, and he goes running into the, into the woods and you can hear him like disappear into the darkness. And and you know, I, I'm terrified, but I can't act terrified 'cause I have these disciples in there. They're all like, "I want to go home." "I think I peed my pants." So we're talking for about three or four minutes. And here comes Sam running towards the house. You can only hear him. "Ah." And Danny's like, "This is awesome." And so I jump off the deck and we do a deliverance on him in the front yard in the dark. Unfortunately, he didn't, he didn't stay free. About a month later, he was in the middle of the street swinging a chain and the, and they had a whole bunch of police officers, eight or 10 police officers were going to shoot him. And I, I see him and I jump out of my car and I run into the circle where he is. I'm like, "Don't shoot him. Don't shoot him." And I grab Sam. He's swinging the chain. I grab Sam and I'm like, "Bro, what are you doing?" He goes, "Oh no." He breaks down weeping. And then a month later, he did it again. Then he killed him. So Sam's story doesn't, didn't come out very good. But we learned deliverance by having very demonized people in our house. And everywhere we went for probably 10 years, demonized people would come to our meetings and they would, it just was everywhere. They called our, our home group the space cadets because most of the people in our group were people who got delivered in our group. And Tracy Evans was getting them saved and bringing them to our home group. We had all kinds of weird things happening. She led this one guy to the Lord. He was 6'7". Actually, she didn't lead him to the Lord. He, he found the Lord in prison. He was in prison for 20 years for murder. And he's 6'7" and he looks just like Lurch. Tracy brings him to church the first day. Bill's preaching. And Lurch is like halfway back. And all of a sudden, Lurch stands up. He goes, "I don't agree with that scripture." And Bill goes, "Go uh, take care of that." He tells me, "Go take care of that." So I, I go back there and I go, "Hey, bro." "Yeah, am I doing something wrong?" Like, full on. I'm like, "Yeah, man. We don't interrupt the preacher when he's preaching." He goes, "Why not?" I go, "Uh, we just don't." He goes, "All right." And then two weeks later, we baptized him in a pool and I was, we, we had like 60 people were baptized. And I was baptized in Lurch. I can't swim at all. So, I'll put Lurch in the water and I couldn't get him up because he's too heavy. So, I stepped like this to raise it up and when I did, I stepped off the deep end and I end up drowning. Lurch grabs me, picks me up, sets me right in front of my family and goes, "You all right? Welcome to Weaverville."

Um, I, I, I want to just um, share a few scriptures and then I'm just going to pray for some freedom for people. Isaiah 61, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the afflicted, to bind up the brokenhearted, to speak release to captives and freedom to prisoners, the favorable year of the Lord." I want you to notice, and this is something I learned through those Weaverville years, the Lord was giving me revelation because we were encountering things. We didn't know how to get people free. I remember we used to call the demons out by name because that's what someone told us to do. And I was one time, it's like 2:00 in the morning, we wrestle this guy like five hours and I go and and you know, and this, I was like, and this, "What is your name?" I'd say to the spirit, "What is your name?" And the spirit goes, "Liar." [Music] I'm like, "Okay, I'm not going to call out names anymore 'cause the spirit's name's Liar. I don't know if his name is Liar or if he's lying to me about being Liar." So, we encounter all these things that, you know, like you have all these people who write books about deliverances who've never done one. And so, and now we're like three years into, you know, scratches and biting and people's heads turning backwards and people slithering like snakes and it's just like crazy stuff. Stuff I, I've never heard of before. And and you know, and sometimes we'd get people free and then we realized they, they didn't stay free. And you know the really cool thing about Weaverville for all the things we're learning, sorry if I'm freaking you guys out, but um, well, the great thing about Weaverville, I'm so thankful that we were there for 20 years because the people you're ministering to, you know, like, so like if you, if you do a deliverance on Henry, you know if Henry's still beating his kids and being and demonized because he lives down the street from you. So there's a lot of times that I realize there are some things I want to just say about deliverance is the person who has the biggest manifestation doesn't necessarily have the most freedom. And I noticed that that a lot of things that you do when you're doing a deliverance sometimes you can um, sometimes uh, well, let me say this. The more they manifest doesn't mean the more they, they're afraid of you. And I will say that people, like I heard someone say the other day, Rich, uh, Rich, who teaches deliverance here, um, Rich calls uh, the demons by name and he teaches the students to do it. I'm like, I don't, I don't care. Do whatever method you want as long as the demon leaves. But demons don't leave because you get the right method. Demons leave because you have authority. And I, and I like to say that a lot of demons, they'll, they'll mess with you. Like there's territorial demons. You end up with the same, a lot of the same ones. And I, I'll tell you that when I came here, many times I'd walk into a room where there was someone who's demonized and a voice would speak out of them say, "I know you're Chris Velin from Weaverville. Your wife is Kathy. Your kids," and they name my kids and tell me they're going to kill me. I can't even tell you how many times I've been in stores here where somebody, a man's voice would speak out of a woman, go, "You're Chris Vel. I know who you are." Doesn't happen much anymore because I'm not doing a lot of deliverances. But when you're in the battlefield, when you're in the, when you're in the trenches, those territorial spirits, they get to know you and they talk to one another. By the way, demons are just people in another realm that hate you.

So, um, so I, I learned that there's captives and there's prisoners. It says, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the afflicted, bind up the brokenhearted, speak release to captives, and freedom to prisoners." And the Lord began to give me insight because we were doing these deliverances three or four times a week. And sometimes people would get free and I, I'd propose that sometimes they got free just because Holy Spirit got them free, not because we knew what we were doing. And then almost always they would get repossessed again. And so the, the conversation began not just how to get them free, but how to keep them free. Like, how do we keep people free? Because we did a deliverance on Joe. He's free for about a week or two and then he's back to his old ways. And so we're like, okay, what is attracting these spirits? What is giving access to these spirits? Because, you know, I mean, most Christians may battle uh, a, a spirit, but they're not oppressed. And so, we learned that there's captives and there's prisoners. Captives are people who got captured in battle, right? So captive is like a victim. Like I, I got molested. I got raped. My parents beat me. I, I, I, I, I'm innocent and I got captured. And most of the time captives, most of the time are people who ultimately believe lies. "You'll know the truth and the truth will set you free." The word truth there is not

Logos. That verse is not saying you'll know the Bible and that will set you free. That word "truth" is the word "it's" our English word "reality." You'll know reality and that will set you free.

'Cause many people, one of the things, one thing that demonic spirits do is they create a virtual reality. It feels real. It looks real, but it ain't real. And many people live in a virtual reality. They maybe their father raped them and then, or, or, or, or something terrible happened to them and they live fighting ghosts. They see someone else who's a father and they're like, they don't see you, they see him. They live in a virtual reality. Maybe they had, you know, whatever situation trauma. We call it PTSD, but I propose PTSD is virtual reality. I was on a battlefield and now I can't get out of the battlefield because the battlefield plays in me when I get triggered by certain noises and certain things because I'm living in a virtual reality. And Jesus said, "You'll know the truth, you'll know reality and that will free you."

So captives are people who, nor most captives are people, they're captured because they believe lies. And the way they get free is by knowing the truth. I, I'm, I'm, listen, I include the Bible, but I mean knowing the truth about their situation. I remember we were doing a deliverance. I was here and there was a woman, a very, a very heavy-set woman who Donna and Teresa were trying to do deliverance on. And this is in the early days. Donna's like the genius at this now. And this woman grabbed them. She went, got down on the floor. She grabbed them and she was biting their legs and growling. And so Benny called me. I was upstairs teaching first year. I was here and we, I went running down there and they were in the admin office and they had Donna and Teresa up against the wall and she was, she was, and, and a bodybuilder, one of our maintenance guys who was a bodybuilder, he was on top of her trying to get her off and I'm like, "Okay, let her go. Let her go." I was kind of laughing at Donna and Teresa. I thought that was kind of funny. I said to Donna, "What are you doing?" She goes, "I'm getting, we're doing a deliverance." I'm like, "It doesn't look like it's working." You know, one thing to do is not be afraid. Like, what you don't want to do in a deliverance is be afraid. If the, if a demon can, uh, smell, the demons can smell that you're afraid. And if there, if you're afraid, what do you have? Faith in who? Them. They won't leave if they know that you believe in their, that you believe in them.

So I, I laid down next to the lady and I said, "Lord, is this a captive or a prisoner?" And he immediately said, "This is a captive. This woman was told when she was 8 years old that she had committed the unpardonable sin and that she couldn't be forgiven and she was going to hell." She was growling. I laid next to her and I said in her ear, "The Lord told me to tell you that you did not commit the unpardonable sin. The devil lied to you. That's not real. As a matter of fact, you love Jesus from the time you were a child." And she immediately stopped growling and started laughing. She started laughing hysterically. She started laughing the kind of laugh that makes you laugh. And we all started laughing. And come to find out, she ended up in the occult. She ended up a witch in, in Shasta County. She was a witch in the occult because she believed the lie. The Lord freed her that moment. That deliverance took not more than 2 minutes and she was completely free. Now she had to learn things and she had attracted things and they went to her house and burned a bunch of stuff and all kinds of stuff had to happen. But she got free because she believed a lie. And the moment she heard the truth, and the truth wasn't like, the truth isn't, I'm not reading the Bible to her. I'm telling her why what opened the door and she closed, she, she, she, she saw the truth because the Holy Spirit was on her. She didn't just hear it. She had a revelation of the truth. And when she did, she got completely free. And, uh, I can't even tell you how many times that happened. I can't even tell you how many times when people get the truth and they get free in the moment, they start laughing hysterically, like, like Toronto style laughing. People just get hysterical. Like they just get, they start hysterically laughing as if the Holy Spirit like didn't just free them but gave them a dose of a Holy Ghost wine.

So prisoners, what is a prisoner? A prisoner is someone that the judge sent to prison. Meaning that they're not victims, they're victimizers. And by the way, I'd like to point out in the culture we live in today that the Lord loves to free the victim and the victimizer. He frees both. And by the way, I propose that most of us have been a victim and a victimizer. But I'd like to read just a, a portion of Matthew 18. I don't know what time it says. I have five minutes. Do I have five minutes? Okay. Um, so, this is the story. Matthew 18 is a story of the judge and he, and a guy owes him like about $20 million in, in US dollars. And he, the judge, uh, the, the king, I'm sorry, the king says to him, "You know, pay up." And he says, "Please have mercy on me." You know the story. And in case you don't know the story, he says, "Have mercy on me." And the judge has mercy on him and forgives his $20 million debt. This guy that got forgiven goes to his friend that owes him around $10,000 and said, "Pay me." And his friend says, "Please have mercy on me and I will pay you." And he says, "I'm not having mercy on you." And he has, he, he has him legally thrown into prison until he paid the last cent. Well, the king finds out that the guy he had mercy on had no mercy on his friend. And the judge, and the, I'm sorry, he's not the judge, he's the king. And the king comes to him and he says, this verse 32, "Then summoning him, the Lord said to him, 'You wicked slave, I forgave you that debt because you pleaded with me. Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave, and in the same way that I, in the same way, had mercy on you?'" And the Lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should pay all that he owed. The last verse says, "My heavenly father will also do the same to you if each of you do not forgive your brother from your heart."

Jesus said that, Jesus said that if you, let's, let me, let me say this. The king is Jesus. The debt is our sin. Jesus died on the cross. He forgave our sin. Are you with me? If you don't know this, if you're in the audience or you're watching, you're in our congregation online. When Jesus died on the cross, he died to forgive your sin and my sin. He forgave my sin. I have no debt with heaven. I have no debt with heaven. Now, Jesus forgave my sin. I'm like the guy that owed $20 million. And then someone offends me. My friend, my colleague, my wife, my husband, somebody in my family does something to me. I mean, they actually do something wrong and I refuse to forgive them. And the Lord goes, "You can't get to heaven with unforgiveness. So, I'll help you. I'll send the tormentors on you." Until you forgive your brother. And sometimes when you're doing a deliverance with someone, you're actually fighting God. You didn't get what I just said. The number one reason why people are demonized is because of unforgiveness. I'm going to tell you this. I'm going to say it to you again. The number one reason, I've done hundreds of deliverances. Sometimes there's multiple reasons as people go on with their life, but the number one reason almost always when someone is severely demonized, it's because they have bitterness and unforgiveness in their life. And unforgiveness and bitterness is like crap on the ground. It will always attract flies. If you do a deliverance and you get rid of the flies and you don't get rid of the crap, they will come right back. And I'm not telling you that from a theory. I've done this deliverances with the same person over and over and over many times until I find like, Lord, what's going on here? And he's saying, "You're fighting me. I didn't set them free because they haven't forgiven."

I remember another Randy Clark conference, a different one. I came, this is again before we were here, and, um, and some guys took this woman out, another woman completely manifesting right out in the hallway. She was right out where the kids were. And, uh, I was again in the back, Kathy and I, and Bill said, "Can you go help?" Like, "Get out there." They had already been out there for like 20 minutes and this lady, another pretty heavy-set lady, she was banging her head against the wall and she was screaming and a voice was speaking out of her and she was completely tormented. By the way, when we get someone, when we work with someone, we have to deal with them as a victim. Some people need to be delivered from the last deliverance they got. We should treat them with honor and respect and dignity. And we should make sure that we don't have them confess their sins in front of 300 people that they have to try to live with after everybody knows what they just did. So there was about 10 guys and they're all screaming over her, "The blood of Jesus set you free." And she was freaking out and slamming her head against the wall. And I walked out there, I'm like, "What are you guys doing?" They're like, "We're doing a deliverance." I'm like, "It doesn't look like you're winning." But you know, I, I always like to be lighthearted because that tells the spirits you're not afraid of them. So the one guy goes, "Well, if you can do better, do it yourself." I said, 'Well, I believe I can. So, I'll get down on the floor with her because I'm going to respect her dignity. And she's banging her head against the wall, so I put my arm around her. And I'm whispering in her ear and she's still freaking out. And I tell the guys, then they're start, they start, "Jesus name." I'm like, "Guys, go." Like you're part of the problem because you are creating anxiety and anxiety in this woman isn't going to get her free. The more fearful she is, the more attractive she is to the enemy. So, we get rid of them and I get on the floor and I, I pray for her and the Lord shows me that her father molested her. I didn't, I just said to her in her ear, "How's your relationship with your father?" I didn't tell her what I saw. She said, "I hate him. I hope he dies in hell." I said, "Okay, well, you need to forgive him. You don't have to ever trust him, but you need to forgive him." And she was like, "I'll never forgive him." And she was just going crazy. So I said, "So I, I tried for about 10 minutes." Finally, I said, "If you're not going to forgive him, then there's nothing I can do to help you." And I let her go and, and I, I got right to the double doors coming back in the sanctuary. And she started screaming, "I'll do anything. I'll do anything. Please help me." I go back on the floor. I put my arm around her. She doesn't hit her head again. And we start doing a deliverance. You can imagine that her father wasn't the only one because when that happens to people, they attract a sexual spirit and they have crazy. And we went through 15 or 30 minutes, probably 30 minutes. And when she got totally free, she started laughing hysterically. She was rolling on the floor laughing. And, and she got completely free. And, but that woman was not a captive. She was a prisoner. Now, how many know she was violated, but she had to listen. You don't have to trust and, and forgiveness aren't the same thing. You don't ever have to trust someone who rapes you in a dark alley. Probably be stupid to do that. Or someone who molests a kid, probably be stupid to do that. But you have to forgive because you've been forgiven. And when you forgive, you get, you take away the reason why the enemy has access to you. You become like Teflon. He can come back in and go, "You're this, you're that." You're like, "Oh, no. I'm not getting involved in that again." And so, it's really important that we realize that there are captives and there are prisoners.

I, I'm going to pray for some folks in just a few minutes. I, I want to give a little plug for this book 'cause it's called "Deliver Us from Evil." It's a 40-day journal out of anxiety, fear, depression, and actually suicide. They didn't want to put suicide on the cover for some reason 'cause I said anxiety, depression, and suicide. And they said, "You can't put suicide on the cover." I'm like, "Suicide's a pandemic in our country." By the way, I was super suicidal for over 6 months. I, I was that close to taking my life. And by the way, do you know that, do you know that Elijah was very suicidal? In, in 1 Kings 18, Elijah has a showdown with the false prophets of Baal and he ends up wiping them out. And the next, in that evening, Jezebel hears about it. She says to Elijah, "May you be like my, like those prophets by tomorrow morning." And when he hears the words of Jezebel, even though he stopped the rain, even though he called down fire, even though he wiped out false prophets, it says when he heard the voice of Jezebel, he was afraid and he ran into the wilderness and he prayed that God would kill him. How many know that Jezebel's spirit can make a normal person suicidal? And he remained suicidal for a few days while the Lord spoke to him, fed him, and got him some sleep. And so, suicidal spirit. How many know that the devil tried to get Jesus to commit suicide in Luke 4? Am I boring, you guys? In Luke 4, Jesus, uh, the devil takes Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and says, "Throw yourself off of here, for it is written, 'The angels shall bear you up.'" Just quotes Psalms 91 to him. How many know the, the Bible in the hands of the devil is not true? Oh, you didn't hear what I just said. Do you know this, the strongest spirit in the world is not murder? It's not molestation. It's not even, not even war. The strongest evil spirit in the world is religion. Religion put Jesus on the cross. And religion is what happens when the, the devil uses the Bible without the spirit of God. How many know it takes the word of God and the spirit of God to equal truth? I just helped a bunch of you because sometimes people get oppressed because the devil uses the Bible against you. Maybe you've been divorced for 20 years. It's all over and the devil says to you, "God hates divorce," and he disqualifies you with shame for something that happened 20 years ago, as if you can't be, that you can be forgiven for murder but you can't be forgiven for divorce. And the devil takes Bible verses and uses them to shame you so that, because how many you know people who have failed and have, and have rose from the ashes are the most powerful people against the kingdom? Where you've been victimized, you will be a victor. Yes, I, I have power over demonic spirits. You do, too. But because I was demonized and my faith was coming from what it's like to be demonized and be set free, like I understood there's a real spirit world. There are real demons. They can really talk to you. They can really affect you. Where a lot, most people are talking from theory or listening to the Bible or listening to some preacher who's probably never done a deliverance. So I'm saying where you failed, where you failed in life will become the place where you're most anointed.

So I, I wrote this journal. I just want to tell you I wrote a 40-day journal because, um, psychologists teach us that if you can, um, if you can change your mind for 40 days, you can change your life. And every single day is a, one, one subject like, "How to, what's this one? How to potty train your brain." That's my favorite chapter. It's just like a chapter on, uh, truth. Like, it takes you through a meditation, but also it has a QR code at the front of every chapter. And I open with three minutes of talking to you about the chapter. And then at the end of the chapter, you go back to the QR code and I close the chapter for you. So it's 40 days. 80 times I'm speaking to you. 80 times where I'm walking you through activations. I'm teaching you about the activations. At the end of each, each day, I'm like, "Make sure you do this activation, right? Do this, this, and this. And then let's talk again tomorrow." So, is anybody, anybody need this? Awesome. You can buy these. Uh, I like to just, Richard, give a couple of these away just to somebody.

I, um, I felt right over here. Uh, I'll tell you like exactly where because, uh, right back here, I felt that someone was struggling with suicidal thoughts. I'd like you to stand up. I'm going to pray for you right now. The Lord's going to deliver you. Would you stand, please? Thank you. Um, if you're dealing with suicidal thoughts, would you stand up, please? If you're afraid to stand up, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah. This is very common. Come right here for just a minute. Let me just pray for you. If, if that's you, just come forward right here. Let's, let me pray for you. Richard, why don't you just join me? I'm going to pray and you just put your hands on him. It's good. Okay, extend your hands. No judgment, you guys. Just extend your hands. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. I thank you for what you're doing in this woman. Thank you, God. I break the spirit of suicide. And Lord, I thank you that the enemy would love to take this woman out because you have a fantastic plan for her. And I saw you on stage telling your story. So I break the spirit of suicide over you in Jesus name. I cancel shame. Come over here. You come over here too. Let me pray for you. Um, yeah, there's about 10 people. Come on up here. Lord, we just, we just release life. We release life over this man in Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. Lord, I thank you that you have forgiven our sins. Thank you. I thank you that you have forgiven our sins in Jesus name. And I pray right now, Lord, that you would break the power of shame and guilt over these people in Jesus name. I release, I release you. I release you from the spirit of murder and from the spirit of suicide. I break the spirit of suicide over you in Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. Yes, Lord. And I, I cancel the fear of death. Yes, I cancel the fear of death over you. Always thinking you're going to die. And I, I cancel that. And the Lord says you're going to live to be a very old man. And you will, you will pass in peace in Jesus name. You will pass in peace. Thank you, Lord. I release a new anointing for a new day. And I cancel this assignment over you in Jesus name. And, uh, and I, and that thing that's happened that night. I, I, the Lord says I'm going to put a guard over your nights. I'm going to put an angel at your bed that you will sleep in peace in Jesus name. Put your hand on your stomach. Thank you. I just release peace into your core right now in Jesus name. I break shame over you in Jesus name. I break shame over you. I release peace over you. The Lord said, "You may others may have abandoned you, but I have never abandoned you." The Lord said, "I've been your friend since you were a little girl." And the Lord said, "I've never abandoned you because I love you and I believe in you." And I just thank you, Lord, for this woman. And I pray that what others think of her is not what you think of her. It's not what, not what we think of her. And I break, I break the lies of spoken words and, and that abandonment has spoken over you in Jesus name. And I just release you to peace in Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. You guys keep ministering to them. Thank you, Lord. I thank you for what you're doing. This woman, Lord, I release your peace over her right now in Jesus name. In Jesus name. I just break any ancestral curses over you, uh, serving false gods and, and, and your family lineage and I cancel their assignment over you and I tell you that your, that your, you, your father is, is not, uh, he, he's, he's not a, he's not a Buddhist. He's not a, he's not a Muslim. Your father's Jesus Christ and he's given you a new bloodline and I release that over you and I cancel generational curses that are trying to pass to you as a believer and I, and right now I, I prophesy that you will be, you'll be like Peter to your family. You were teaching them, 'This is how you got free. Now here's how you stay free. Listen, here's all the things you need to do to stay free.'" And you were training and equipping people. I felt like the Lord was putting a, a mantle for deliverance on all these people. I feel like he's given them a sign and I just release right now whatever, uh, the Lord's given me for free. I pray that many people, they would even, I, I saw people falling down in the storm and getting free in, in grocery stores and in, and, I saw one, one of you is an educator in a, uh, elementary school. Is there, who's that? Yeah. The Lord said your students are going to begin to get free in your classroom and, and you have several students who have weird things happening to them and, and, and you're like, "Lord, what's going on?" I feel like you've been asking the Lord and the Lord's like, "I'm going to open your eyes to the spirit world." Listen to what I said. I'm going to open your eyes to the spirit world. So, you're going to see things. You don't need to get stressed about them because the Lord's going to show you what's going on and you're going to talk to little Johnny and little Jane and they're going to walk in here and be like, "And this is what's happening to them. And I want you to free them." And the Lord's going to give you a very unique way of getting them free without you getting in trouble. I tell you this quick story. We did a deliverance, uh, in DC and we were, uh, at the prayer breakfast and I, I, I pulled the sword out of a lady. I told the story many times. I pulled the sword out of a lady who wasn't a believer. You know, it was an invisible sword. She had pain there for a decade. I pulled the sword out of her. She fell down on the ground in a trance. She woke up. All the pain was gone. She didn't speak English. Anyway, that was at the prayer breakfast. And so after that, that session at the prayer breakfast, people started, you know, catching me in the elevator go, "Do I have a sword in me? Can you pull the sword out of me?" 'Cause, 'cause she said that she'd been everywhere because I said, "You have a sword right here in your stomach." And she said, "I've been to doctors all over the world. Can't find the pain. Why I have pain?" I said, "Because you have a sword in you." So all these people started coming up and saying, "I have pain. They can't find my pain." And, but anyway, I want to tell you the story because for this reason. So the Lord, so people started coming up to me. This is in, in a restaurant, in the prayer breakfast. A lot of Christians, a lot of non-Christians. And I saw duct tape on their head with words written like "abandon." So the Lord said, "Just pull the duct tape off their head." So I come up and I go, "I see a duct tape on your head. Says 'abandon.'" And I pulled the duct tape off and down they go on the floor. And if I would have said, "You have a demon," it probably would have freaked them out. When I said they had duct tape, they'd just love the duct tape thing. And I probably did 20 deliverances, people just pulling duct tape off of people, you know, it was invisible, right? Duct tape, you know? But I'm pointing out that the Lord knows how to move in the courts of Nebuchadnezzar. Like we think we have to be real religious, get the Bible out. And I'm like, no, the Lord, and the Lord knows how to sneak into the public school system, into the Christian school system, and you're going to see, you're going to see hundreds of kids over the next 10 years get free. And, and, and you're going to use methods no one's ever heard of before. And you're going to use stories out of, uh, out of, uh, that aren't even out of the Bible to get people free. And so I bless what God's doing in you in Jesus name. And I just release a new anointing for a new day. I want all of you that are standing to say, "I receive an anointing as a freedom fighter. I'm on a mission to get people free from demonic spirits, from evil spirits, from false religions, from shame and guilt, and bitterness and hatred." In Jesus name. Amen. You can sit down. And I saw wealthy people come into your house and I see them, uh, all these unbelievers and there's some kind of like a network almost like Amway or something like where there's like this multi-level marketing thing and, and you're not, you're not in it but all these people are coming to your house and you're actually teaching them about Jesus and you're teaching them how, you're teaching them how to get free from mammon that controls them and you're never going to worry about money because the Lord is, uh, you're like the widow that, that the oil never quits. Like when Elisha went to her house and said, "Go get jars of oil." And the Lord's like going to do miraculous. Like you're not going to have stock market wealth. You're going to have supernatural wealth. Like Lord's going to tell you to do weird things. Kind of like the Elijah, Elisha tells the widow, "Go get jars, not just a few." And they fill up with oil. And strange things are going to happen like that. Like the Lord's going to give you supernatural ideas that they don't, they don't make sense physically, but they make total sense in the kingdom. And people are going to be like, "How did you get that car?" You're like, "I don't know. That someone just gave it to me." And like, "That looks brand new." Yeah, it is. It's brand new. I don't know why. The Lord told me last week to pray for this specific car. And a week later, they drove it in my driveway. I have no idea how that happened. And the Lord's just going to do crazy things for you. And you're going to be a sign and a wonder. And I, I want to tell you one more thing. The reason why the Lord has is going to so bless you is because of your generosity. The Lord said you've sown for a generation and you have seen very little. The Lord's going to encounter you and he's going to he's going to he's going to kiss you into a new dimension because you're going to be an evangelist for the Lord. the Lord is doing a wonderful work in you and he is uh and he's just asking you to forgive the people who did bad stuff to you and so that that team can just pray for you for a few minutes but you really have a great call on your life and by the way in in spite of how deep you got into the darkness the your heart is just really beautiful and the Lord's restoring you and he wants to he wants you to come into the kingdom and be his son so I bless you and um can you put your hands on her right here. Uh, and the Lord's uh, Isaiah 42:9, the former things that come to pass, behold, I do a new thing in you. And the Lord's doing a new thing in you right now. And said, sing to the Lord a new song. And the Lord's like, I'm going to give you a ministry of singing. And when you sing, it's going to attract the Holy Spirit. And I uh, and I I just break the power of false religion off of you in Jesus name. And I release the power of Jesus Christ. May he become not just your savior, savior, but your personal friend. And and and uh and the Lord's going to give you a new washer and he's going to give you a new dryer. Someone's going to pay for that tonight. And before you leave here, someone's going to pay for a washer and a dryer. And but it's it's a new ministry. Like you're going to wash people with the word and you're going to dry them with the spirit of uh with the wind of the spirit. And uh this is going to be your ministry. You're going to get a new washer, a new dryer, and every time you wash clothes and dry clothes, you be like, "The Lord's given me a ministry of washing and drying. I wash and dry people." And um um uh somebody uh was on a in a motorcycle wreck uh messed up your right leg a long time ago, but it's not right. Who's that? Okay. Lord's healing your right leg right now in Jesus name. And uh I don't know what it is that's wrong with it, but I speak right now, the power of the Holy Spirit's going to come on your body. And he's not just going to heal your leg, he's going to heal your walk with God. You're going to be walking and leaping and praising God. And not only are your leg going to get healed, but you're going to have a healing ministry. And uh and what's happening to you is going to happen through you. And I feel like the Lord's going to give you uh the power to restore their virginity uh and spirit, soul, and body. And there's something about uh your story that's going to be their story. And so I bless what God's doing through you. May the power of God move on you right now as I'm speaking to you. I pray that uh the electricity would run through your body to u to um acknowledge uh that uh the sign that this is your ministry. It may not be the only thing you're doing, but I saw women being completely restored that have been in counseling for years, even decades.
