That Holy Spirit be with that expectation and in that direction, that thank you pastor, how beautiful is the presence of the Lord, you can feel His presence, take your place for a minute to get my stopwatch ready, blessed be the Lord, I want to give thanks to God since this is my last service, in a few hours I will be traveling, for the privilege of being with you without help, for the privilege of being with you, to thank God for inviting us, I understand and appreciate the responsibility when one is given a pulpit because one as a pastor knows that one goes there with whom one brings, and it is more difficult sometimes for the people to say I want so-and-so and the pastor is saying that they are sewing that you don't know, so the responsibility of putting someone here, I know it is great, it is of prayer, of discerning, of testing spirits, of listening to God, and that is why I want to thank you pastors for the privilege, I honor you for the responsibility, and I thank the Lord for your lives and for the pastor who has battled with everything and has managed it all to continue here, your friend, the hospital, your little girl, and everything, and here she is with us, so entering into the word, that tonight I want to bring you [Music], I want to be able, more than more than to preach, I want to be able to teach, and today I come with a magisterial anointing that as it is preached, the Lord will be liberating, so if someone starts to cry, to groan, it is normal, let them go, it is what God is going to do, and I have named this topic liberating the soul, liberating the soul, liberation goes beyond what we imagine, liberation is a gradual, growing process, step by step, where just as God sent Israel to conquer each of the cities until they entered Canaan, in the same way we need to conquer all those cities that are within us, Israel in the desert had to face 31 kings, 31 different kings, and each of them represents a territory to conquer, and a territory to defeat, and a king to put to death, and many times we are in situations from which we cannot escape because we do not know what we are fighting against, it is like someone who has a pain and takes a pill, takes an ibuprofen, the pain will pass, but the problem will not be eradicated because the problem is not being sought, but it is being hidden. I want you to go with me to the book of Luke, chapter 12, verse 16, Luke 12:16, the word of the Lord says, and I brought it on screen to make it easier for each of you to read, Luke 12:16, He also told them a parable, saying, I am going to translate, the parable was the language that Jesus used to explain the kingdom, to explain how spiritual things worked, the land of a certain rich man had produced much, say with me, had produced much, hold that phrase, had produced much, he had a lot, and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, I no longer have room to store it, he had so much that he no longer knew what to do with so much that he had, it was so much abundance that he no longer knew how to manage his abundance, it was so much prosperity that he no longer knew how to manage what he had, and in verse 18, the Bible says, Then he said, This I will do, look at what it led him to, I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods, and I will say to my soul, soul, say with me, he said to his soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years, rest, eat, drink, and be merry, he was talking to himself, and in verse 20, God responds to this man, who was not talking to God, this man was not talking to God, he was talking to himself, and while this man was talking to himself, God intervenes in the conversation he was having with himself, and God intervenes, and God says to him, Fool, but what I like most about the word fool is its translation into current language, and do you know what the translation of fool into current language is? Stupid. I don't know how strong that sounds to you, we stick with fool, but now you know what it means, because I translate it, because many times we hear about foolishness and we don't understand what it means to be foolish, foolish is stubborn, foolish is someone who is always going against what they have to do, foolish is someone who doesn't think, who doesn't organize their ideas, who doesn't project for the future, foolish is someone negligent, foolish is someone irresponsible, foolish is someone stupid, and God told me, this foolish man, and God tells him, this very night your soul will be required of you, and now to whom will what you have provided be? While this man was worried about his abundance, while this man was worried about everything he had, while this man was working for God, God intervenes and tells him, what you don't know is that your soul is in demand, and it's like, there's a claim against your soul, and they're coming to ask for it. [Music] If someone doesn't understand what I'm going to talk about now, I'm going to explain it. God doesn't come for your body, because your body is dust, from dust I came and to dust I will return. God doesn't come for your spirit, because your spirit is His, He is the Father of spirits, and every spirit returns to God, the Father of spirits. God comes for the soul. So, what goes to hell, to heaven, is the soul. What God was telling this man is, you are foolish, you have worried about everything except the most important thing, and there is a claim, and note that it says, this very night they will come to ask for your soul, and you have worked, and many other things, but what you have to work on, you have not worked on. [Music] And that is why I will quote here, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, I am laying foundations, and may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, say with me, completely, and then it says, your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The word "complete" is the Greek word 3648. You know that in the original, there are no words, there are numbers, and in Greek, the word "complete" means whole, undivided, unbroken. What the Lord is saying is, I come to look for something that is not divided, I come to look for something that is not separated, I come to look for a complete, and it speaks of the spiritual, my body, which is the tripartite being. [Music] Your body is the case in which God deposited an animal soul and your spirit. When God created man in the garden, He created a body, and when He breathed into the body, He put the soul and the spirit. And if you notice, the three fit perfectly, because it is a whole, it is complete. This is God's design, but what happens with us is that we don't understand how it works. The body is the container of the soul and the spirit. In our spirit is everything we receive from God: gifts, talents, and ministries. [Music] Everything we receive from God is in the spirit: purpose, talents, ministries, and gifts. [Music] What God gives you, your spirit receives, and obviously it radiates throughout your being until it reaches your body. But what is the soul? [Music] Help me preach, you know it, it's basic, I'm laying the foundation and reminding you to get to where I want to go, which is the soul. In the soul are three foundations, the three seats of the soul. In the soul is our memory, the intellect, everything that happened in your past is stored in the soul, all the memories are in the soul, all the experiences are in the soul, everything you see, hear, feel, and perceive is recorded in the soul. In the soul are feelings and emotions. In the soul are feelings and emotions. Emotions and feelings are not of the spirit. That is why the Bible does not say God feels love, but the Bible says God is love, because the spirit does not feel, the spirit is. However, we feel love because emotions are in the soul. Our emotions and feelings, according to how we feel, are according to how the soul is, according to our feelings. In the revelation of how the soul is. But also in the soul, the third element or the third seat, called the will. That is why the Bible says the spirit is always willing, the problem is in the soul, which has the will. God says the spirit is always willing to help, to seek, to worship, to come to the service, but there is something within you that when you want to, you cannot, and it is the soul, because in the soul is the will. According to how you think, so is your soul, because in the soul is the intellect, the memory, the thoughts. According to how you express yourself, so is your soul. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So the body evidences what the soul contains, the body evidences what the soul contains. And the Bible says, there it is, thank you for helping me. God is waiting for a whole, a state of complete perfection where there is no division between one and the other. But when the apostle said, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak, and obviously he was not talking about the body, but about the soul. What he is saying is, there is a division. In the book of Romans, the Bible says, the good that I want to do, I do not do, and the evil that I do not want to do, I keep on doing. The spirit was commanding the soul to do things, but the soul, which has the will, did not want to. That is why we come to the altar again and again, and we make covenants with God, "I will not sin anymore." We come, we make a commitment before His altar to live in holiness, but when we leave, we sin, because we are receiving in the spirit, but nothing is happening in our soul. And we fall to the ground and we are filled with God, but you are receiving everything in the spirit, but nothing is happening in the soul, because there is a division, there is a wall that has been interposed. When the soul was divided, when sin came to man, the Bible says that his eyes were opened, the eyes of the soul, and man began to have emotions and feelings that he did not have before. Listen to all of this, and I had fear. The first appearance of feeling in the Bible was a product of sin, and after Adam ate, the first feeling of the soul appeared. When Adam had sinned, I heard your voice, and I was afraid, and the fear led me to hide. What the soul did was cause the spirit to disconnect from God, and no matter how much Adam heard God's voice, Adam could not answer God, even though Adam's spirit knew God, he was afraid because his soul had awakened. This is our problem, we want to fill the spirit. The only thing a Christian longs for is to fill the spirit, and to that God says, "I want gifts, I want callings, I want ministries, I want God to fill me, I want to speak in tongues, I want the baptism, I want to prophesy, I want God to speak to me," and God tells you, "Fool, and your soul." Is there anyone here, or have I lost them now? To lay a little more foundation, look with me, I put a chart because I can't put all the verses due to time. Elijah the prophet, brother, there has been no one like Elijah, there has been no one like him, and he is a prophet about whom even Jesus spoke. Elijah was the man who spoke to heaven, and heaven responded to him, full of ministry, he was a prophet, full of gifts, of authority, of raising the dead, Elijah did everything. Now, Elijah had a problem in his soul, because the Bible says that he sat under a juniper tree and began to say to God, "Take my life, take my life, because I am not worthy." So, Elijah had depression, his spirit was full of God, but his soul was never worked on. Fool, they will demand your soul. And then the man who spoke with God, when his soul began to overflow, his spirit disconnected from God, and Elijah no longer knew how to answer God, because the problem is not when you have of God, but how prepared you are to receive of God. That is why today we see people with gifts and we say, "And why with so much sin? And why if he promises, there God uses him?" Because, but it cannot be, brother, he was in communication, in division, in murmuring, and how is it that God uses him? Because the problem is that the spirit can contain of God, but when the soul is wrong, there will be a disconnection, you will be disconnected from God's purpose. Now I will continue with this, because you know what strikes me most, that we are at that moment when the soul of Elijah showed what he had, God finished with him and said, "Get up, eat, for the journey is too great for you." He said, "I have plans, I have projects, but because your soul, fool, you did not work on it, I am finished with you. Get up and eat, I am finished with you." [Music] "I have plans, I have projects, but because your soul, fool, you did not work on it, I am finished with you. Get up and eat, I am finished with you." [Music] Today, the only thing we want is to show how much we have of God. Gifts bless for a moment, but character evidences Christ in our lives. And today we have people with gifts but without character, because they have never worked on their soul. And there we can see someone, the best of evangelists, the only brother who in 40 days converted an entire city, he even made the animals fast, a man with a word, I don't know what message reached me, but he made my whole level convert, everyone looked at the ground and humbled themselves, the best of evangelists, but he also had depression and suicide. When the Lord says, "You know what? Kill me. You know what? I don't want to live. You know what? Take my life, because death is better than life." And you are here, touch the person next to you and ask them, "How is your soul?" Moses the liberator, there are verses on the screen, Moses the liberator, and it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out, and God saw that one of his people, a Hebrew, was being tortured, and when he saw that they were attacking one of his people, the Bible says that he looked around, and seeing that no one else was there, he killed him and hid him in the sand. Moses had a calling, he had ministry, he had purpose, he had authority, but he had anger and he had hatred. [Music] He had a calling, but when your soul is full of things, your spirit cannot fit. How did it appear? How did it happen in the beginning with Moses? And that is why at the end of his ministry, God tells Moses, "I am finished with you. I will show you the city, you will not be able to enter." "Lord, but my sins..." Your sins were your anger, your sin was your rage. Instead of speaking to the rock, you struck it. "Lord, but I am the liberator." Your soul, [Music] your soul, Moses, left you out. Fool, today they are coming for your soul. If there is a message that the church likes, it is the message about the spirit: "I will send you, I will fill you." If there is a prophetic word that the church likes, it is to speak of power, empowerment, signs, wonders, miracles. But there Jesus says, "Fool, and your soul." How many people, if God comes, will die? There are gifts, ministries. When they arrive in heaven, they want to come and say, "But Lord, I know you, but Lord, I performed miracles in your name, Lord, so that your name would be glorified." Lord, no, you too, because the spirit is endowed, because that is irrevocable. Gifts do not show your greatness, but God's greatness, by grace, giving you something you do not deserve, that you did not pay for, and that you did not sacrifice for. The greatest work is what you do with your soul. If in your soul there is rejection, if in your soul there are curses, if in your soul there is suicide, anxiety, bitterness, if in your soul there is murmuring, lust, complexes, feelings, it doesn't matter how much you have of God, you are still wrong, and to God you are still a fool. [Music] Complexes. The man who carried the mantle of Elijah, carried a double portion, but his complexes made him misuse his gift, and he cursed some young people, telling them to go out, and bears devoured them, and they all died by the mouth of the prophet Elisha. When you go to the Bible and look in the original, the Bible is saying that they were children entering adolescence, pre-adolescents. He could have gifts, he could have talent, he could have Elisha, the double mantle, the double portion, he could part the waters, he could part the Jordan, he could make an axe float, but there was a complex that killed him. Bald. [Music] When your soul is not worked on, all your gifts will be misused. That is why we see so many people straying, but because they have of God, but because God knows, "Fool, you never work on this." [Music] Exodus 25, the Bible speaks of marks of four generations: "You shall not bow down to them nor serve them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me." Your soul carries the information of four previous generations, and God comes and says, "I visit." Say with me, "I visit." Who does God visit? He visits your soul. And He comes to the children and says, "I come to visit to see if you have worked on anything. Do you still drag the same things from your parents?" And He comes to the children and says, "I come to visit to see if you still carry the same problems as your grandfather." I come to visit your soul. Four generations. What your soul carries is what you will transfer to your children, because you do not transfer the spirit. The spirit is transferred by God. 22 chromosomes, yours and your husband's or your wife's, build a body that carries the information of the soul, but the spirit is breathed by God. So you, a combination of body and soul, do not give the spirit. Your children are the result of what you gave them. So the battles your children have are because you did not transfer them. The things your children face are because you did not destroy them. And the Bible says, Psalm 41:4, "My soul is sick." I said, "Lord, have mercy on me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against you." David knew that his soul was sick, and that it was sick because of the soul, because of what it contained. But speaking of David, David asked himself, "Why, if I have so much in my spirit? Why, if I am the sweet singer of Israel? Why, if God visits me, calls me, anoints me when I was nobody? Why, if He never anointed my head with oil? Why, if He prepares a table before my enemies? Why, if I am the bearer of the new song? Why, if I am a man with authority to scare away the demons that pursue Saul? What is happening to me? Because I sinned." And David says in his confession, "Behold, you desire truth in the inward being; in the hidden heart you will make me know wisdom." And he reveals, understand, and says, "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me." [Music] I failed God, not because of what I carried from God, but because of the genetics I received from my mother when I was conceived. In my life, my mother conceived me. Lust, I got it from my mother. Sexual sin, I got it from my mother. The sins that pursue me, I got them from my mother. But brother, his mother came from Ruth. Love her, and love her. Who were the Moabites? Someone help me. The Moabites were the result of the incestuous relationship between Lot's daughters. "Iniquity, my mother conceived me." Naver, the grandson of Ruth the Moabite. Follow me. And suddenly David knows he has a problem, but he does nothing. Say with me, "Fool." And when his sons grow up, they violate their sister Tamar. Incest. [Music] Here it is, it left me. And because there was violation between them, because there was incest, because in iniquity my mother conceived me, and in iniquity Lot conceived them. It doesn't matter how much he had of God, his soul had not been treated. [Music] I will unite them for a moment. This is what you have now, but when man dies, the tripartite being is delivered, it disintegrates, and the spirit returns to God. Every spirit returns to the Father of spirits. Your soul goes to Abraham's bosom, to temporary places, but we will refer to it as hell, and your body returns to dust. What goes to judgment, to God, is an account. That is why, in the end, you will not arrive by your works, nor by your fruit, nor by your ministry. We have been so concerned with having of God that we have forgotten that we have the responsibility to see how we present ourselves before God. We have given more importance to how we excel on earth than to how we can arrive before God and not be reproved, how to arrive before God and not have to lower our heads. Today, churches are divided because there are people who have in their spirit, but whose soul is full of sins, and with that division, they exhibit their gifts, and they take immature and mature people, who also have not conquered their soul, and their soul is full of sin. Say with me, "In iniquity my mother conceived me," and David came and had children. Let's analyze David's family. Amnon violated Tamar, incest. Ruth the Moabite, product of incest. "In iniquity my mother formed me." Absalom slept with the concubines in front of the people, immorality, lust, sexual sin, iniquity. But Solomon, what can we say? He was the best of all, he had a thousand women and ended up saying, "Enjoy, celebrate, and rejoice with the wife of your youth." At the end of their lives, he realized that something in him was not right, that he married every woman he saw, but he loved only one. His problem was in his soul. Solomon divided the kingdom because in his soul there was a lack of forgiveness, because in his soul there was resentment, because in his soul there was an overestimation of himself, and when he stood at the city gate, he considered himself better than his father. The problem that the church has today is that there are people who believe they are better than the covering, better than the pastors, better than those in front, and they are always measuring and comparing themselves. "I speak better." Brother, do not compare yourself to anyone. You are you, period. If you are going to compare yourself to someone, compare your soul, the level of freedom you have. God, my God, I won't be able to continue, my beloved, but I'm running out of time. I'm going to skip to see who I give. Say with me, "Inheritance." Say with me, "Inheritance." Something impressive that I notice in the word of the Lord, and that I want to share with you, is how that ancestral inheritance was not only lived by David, for example, who is the father of faith? Who is the father of faith? Abraham. We only talk about what he had in his spirit, the father of faith, the man capable of giving up his son, the first man to tithe even when there was no law and it had not been established, the man who knew in the 15th of... and we know that the 15th is Christ, the man who had an encounter with the priesthood, the man who went to offer his son on the same mountain where Jesus Christ was crucified, a man with revelation, a man to whom God spoke, whom he consulted about His plans. He had much of God in his spirit, but in his soul he had something, and that was that he practiced rejection. He did not love his first wife, he loved the second, and even when he possessed her and even when he gave her offspring, he did not love her. Forgive me, I am talking about his grandson. Abraham. Abraham suffered from rejection. Say with me, "Rejection." The firstborn, he sent his son Ishmael away from home. Rejection of the firstborn. Abraham, Isaac. Isaac has two sons and rejects the firstborn, giving the blessing to the younger. And when the younger comes to say, "Father, my blessing for you, I have nothing." Rejection came in his genetics. But Jacob comes and has 12 sons and rejects 11 to love the last one, Joseph. He rejected them all. Abraham gave his sons in his soul an inheritance of rejection. And when Joseph brings them before the father to bless them, Joseph comes with us, son, and presents him to his father, and no one blesses him. And you know what the father does? He crosses his arms to reject the elder and give the blessing to the younger. And Jehovah visits the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the fourth generation. That iniquity of rejection had traveled from generation to generation until it reached Joseph himself. And Joseph, desperately, says, "For me, he is not the elder." "Untie the word. I want to break the curse we carry." But the father did not break it, he continued blessing the younger. I will continue, and suddenly from that genealogy comes Christ. [Music] From the rejection, from the rejection, Christ comes. And when the Son of God had not yet been born and was in Mary's womb, God had to intervene to break that curse and say to him in a dream, "Joseph, where you are going, [Music] do not dare to reject the Son of God." What Mary has in her womb by the Holy Spirit is because from generation to generation rejection was being transported, and God had to intervene so that that genetic would not reach his son. And when he said, "And he thought of secretly abandoning them," God intervened. "Joseph, do not dare." An inheritance transferred from sin. With this I will finish. What is in your soul? When your soul is wrong, your spirit will not fit. [Music] The mouth is the vehicle we have from God. And you receive a prophecy in your spirit, but your soul is wrong. When the prophecy passes through the soul and reaches the body, it will arrive damaged. [Music] Because the soul contaminated it, it will arrive damaged. God gave me a word, it will arrive damaged because your soul has not been conquered. Balaam was a prophet, he had much in his spirit, but in his soul he was stubborn, he was childish, he was clumsy, he wanted to do what he wanted, period. He wanted to be deaf, he didn't want to see God, he didn't want to hear God. And so much so that he stopped having, he lost his spiritual senses, and his soul saw more revelation than he did. [Music] Because when your soul is wrong, your spirit will begin to dry up, because it will not fit. That is why the Bible said, "He must increase, but I must decrease." I want my soul to decrease so that He may increase. The spirit. Everything in the Bible is showing you that your soul needs to be liberated. [Music] Chapter 10:1, the Bible says, "You have to run to the end." I skipped almost 10 verses. Job 10:1 says, "My soul is weary of my life; I will give free course to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul." And today we spoke of bitterness. Bitterness is in the soul. Complaining comes from the soul. A weary soul is a soul that does not want to live anymore, that everything bothers it, that everything annoys it. But the most impressive thing about this, brother, and he was an expert, he was an expert in the soul. And David said, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?" He was saying, "What reasons do you have for doubting God? What is happening to you, my soul?" He spoke to his soul and said, "Soul, do not forget the benefits of God." What is in the soul? Look with me, the memory. Soul, do not forget. When we forget who we are, where we are, it is because our soul is governing the tripartite being. The will. And although I want to, although I long to, I do not do it, because my soul has the government. The impressive thing is that the spirit is masculine gender, the body is masculine gender. The only feminine is the soul, creating a matriarchal effect, dominating, reaching the spirit. That is why we see people with many gifts, but we say, "I cannot use you." "But I preach like an angel." "Preach like an angel, but your character is inadmissible. You are not, we cannot work with you." "Pastor, but I have a lot of knowledge." "What good is your knowledge if your soul is full of problems?" Fool. What is wrong with you? Because you grasp what suits your spirit, and you forget what it contains. It is because of the soul. Salvation, the soul. The Lord comes and says, "They will be cast out, demons will not be glorified." That is why [Music] do not glory in what your spirit contains. If you are going to exalt yourself in anything, let it be in this: that your name is there, that there is salvation. Soul, brother, turn and ask the person next to you, "How is your soul?" What happened to your children? What did you pass on to your family? And I will finish with this verse, if not, I will not be able to pray. Third John 1:2, Third John 1:2, the word of the Lord says, "Beloved, [Music] I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, just as your soul is prospering." You know what the Lord is saying? Everything that revolves around you depends on the state of your soul. According to how your soul is, so will your family be. According to how your soul is, so will your children be. According to how your soul is, so will everything around you be. And I will speak of something in ministry. I have known many people who have much of God, but whom, as pastors, we do not want by our side. [Music] Do you know why? Because when we look at their soul, we say, "With that soul, I cannot work with that person." What pride, haughtiness, emotions, feelings, will that does not bend, that we tell them, "You are wrong." "No, I am not wrong." "I am not wrong." "Be careful, brother, your soul has problems." And do you know how Jesus told someone who had a soul with a problem? "Fool." And from foolishness comes foolishness. There are people who are so foolish within the church, and we tell them, "Brother, you speak badly." "No, I don't speak badly." "You express yourself badly." "Brother, what you did is wrong." "No, I haven't done anything wrong. God will judge me." And I tell you, "Look, this is rebellion. Your soul is governing. Your soul is uncircumcised. Your soul is governing and destroying." When God tells me I am wrong, I will admit it. Your spirit disconnects from God. According to the state of your soul, I could spend the day giving examples, but when your soul is wrong, your spirit does not fit. [Music] When your soul is full of sin, of errors, of damage, the spirit does not fit. And when the spirit does not fit, you are functioning at 10% of what you should be functioning. Stop asking so much of God. It is not wrong to ask, but prioritize your soul. When the pastor sent me the flyer, and it said "Metamorphosis," I understood what they wanted. The word was not to come and preach what one wanted with that name. I understood what the desire was. You who imposed the name, pastor, I understood when I prayed what was happening in the church before coming. I said, "When He reveals to the pastor that it must be called Metamorphosis, because there are people inside who have not changed." And Metamorphosis comes from "meta," "morpho," to change form, to change shape. And in the word, it derives from "metanoia," a change of mentality. Both form and mind come from the soul. And I said, "What the pastor wants is for people to be free in their soul, for people to be transformed." We don't want people to be filled, because fullness is a promise, we will receive it because God wants to, period. But our soul needs us to surrender the soul, to surrender to God, to say, "I renounce everything that is within me. I break my service. I break my will, that will that opposes what God wants. I have to break what is within me because it gives me a morbid desire to change form." And if your soul was shapeless, Metamorphosis is to give form to what has lost it, to give it the form it needs to be in the image of Christ. I knew how the church was before coming, just by the name. I said, "There are things that are not being spoken, but that the pastors are looking at. There are people who boast a lot, but their form is incorrect." The first thing that happens when there is a metamorphosis is that the first step is a worm. So, what it is saying is that in the church there are people who are like worms. David says that one of the... I am a worm. We say, "I am a dog." The psalmist said, "I am a dog." In the church, there are people who are like worms, like dogs, who are full of sin, who are like foxes, tearing down the sanctuary. They are still there, but until they break their soul, they will not be able to pour out what He wants to pour out on this house and on this congregation.
