7 NEW Mind-Blowing Use Cases of Claude

Over the past few weeks, Anthropic has been shipping new features for Claude like crazy. Memory, computer use, dispatch, co-work projects, scheduled tasks. People are going nuts, and I am too, frankly. And honestly, you might have missed a lot of this because things are moving so fast right now. So, in this video, I'm going to break down exactly what each of these new features are, show you how to set them up, and walk you through seven real business use cases that you can start using today with these new features in Claude.

Okay, so before we get to the use cases, the first new feature I want to talk about is memory 2.0, as people are calling it. Now, Claude has had memory for a while. Back in August, they added the ability to search and reference past chats, which is great, but it was more on demand. Claude would only pull up past conversations if you specifically asked it to. And what's changed is automatic memory. Claude now synthesizes your conversations every 24 hours into a memory summary that loads into every new conversation that you start. It's on by default. And you can look at this by So, I'm in Cloud Code right now. So, I'm going to type in forward/memory. And it's going to tell me to continue in terminal to edit the memory. I'm going to say go ahead. And so here we go. As you can see here where it says automemory is on. Again, it defaults to being on. And then as you can see here, right below it, it's called autodream. And yes, that's actually what Anthropic calls it, autodream. So basically between your sessions, how this works, Claude reviews its memory files, merges duplicates, removes stuff that's outdated, and reorganizes everything so the memory stays clean and current for you. It's making its memory of you more efficient. if you will. And here's why this matters for everything I'm about to show you today in this video. When Claude's running tasks on a reoccurring basis, for example, it needs to actually know your business. So, think of these memory updates as sort of the foundation. Everything else is built on top of it.

All right, for the first use case, this is what I call the weekly CEO review that gets smarter every single week and we're going to use the new Claude feature in co-work called co-work projects. And this is a big one. Now, you might already be using cloud projects, right? And if you are, you're probably thinking, "Well, how are co-work projects different from the projects I'm already using in normal Claude chat." So, let me be really clear about the differences here. With regular Cloud projects, you upload files, you set the context, give it instructions, and then you chat with Claude inside that project. But, you are still doing everything. You're asking the questions, you're giving the instructions, you're driving the conversation. Co-work projects, on the other hand, are different. You assign Claude a task and it'll go do it. But here's the really important distinction. Co-work projects have memory. So every time you run a task inside that project, Claude remembers what happened last time. And so here's how I'm using this. As I mentioned earlier, I've set up a co-work project for a weekly CEO review. So every week I have Claude pull all my key metrics in the business. I summarize what happened across the business and I compare it to the previous week. So I can make sure I'm in Claude Co-work. By the way, I'm using the Claude desktop app. So then I can just say run this week's report. Click go and it'll start the session. It'll run the weekly report. Okay. In a matter of seconds, it's generated the report for me. I just gave it fictional data on my business. But we can click here and view the report. And over here it says secretly CEO weekly review. Gives me the dates, headline, key numbers, green flags, watch list, focus, and breaks it all down. And then here's what it looks like inside the project after it has completed. So, because again, it's a co-work project, Claude's going to remember this for next week's review, it's going to know what the numbers are, and so it will show me the delta. It'll show me the week-over-week differences and so forth. That kind of insight only happens because Claude has the context of every previous run within a co-work project.

Now, there's three different ways to create co-work projects. You can start one from inside co-work directly, which is where I am right now. So, I can just click on new project, and as you can see here, I can start from scratch. I can import a project from normal quote unquote cloud projects or I can use an existing folder where I have a project already going on for example that's living on my computer and you can also go into this is a little known thing here you can go into a regular cloud project and there's a button so I'm going to do that right now I'm going to go into normal cloud projects I'm going to click on my business brain thought partner and you'll notice here there is a start a task in co-work and what that'll do it'll as it says here create new task with context from my business brain thought partner. And now what it's done, it's kicked me over into Claude co-work and now it's going to use the context from that specific cloud project.

Okay, use case number two is what I like to call the end of day handoff. And we're using the new feature called dispatch. And this one might be the most mind-blowing one on this list I'm sharing with you here today. So what is Claude dispatch? Dispatch lets you assign tasks to Claude from your phone while Claude works on your computer. Your phone becomes essentially a remote control, if you will, for an AI agent sitting at your computer. With regular co-work, you have to be at your desk to kick off a task, right? You're sitting at your computer. You give Claude a task and it goes and does it. Well, Dispatch removes that requirement. So, here's how to set this up. You go into the Claude desktop app like we've been working with here in the video. You open dispatch over here from the side panel. I'm in co-work by the way, and it will walk you through if you've not set this up. It'll walk you through connecting this to your phone. And then once you're connected, you've now got one persistent conversation thread that syncs across your devices. It's super cool. Now, when it comes to dispatch, I do want to be upfront about the big limitation. Your computer has to stay on and the cloud desktop app has to stay open for tasks to run. If your computer goes to sleep, whatever you ask it to do will stop. But there's a workaround. So, as you can see here inside the cloud desktop settings, when I click on dispatch, you can choose the keep awake option. So, you can see here when enabled, cloud will prevent your computer from going to sleep. So, you don't want it to stop when your computer goes to sleep or you close the laptop or what have you, turn this on.

So, here's a dispatch use case that I'm really, really excited about. So, for example, I can go into my phone here and I can type in research three competitors pricing pages and build me a comparison spreadsheet. So, it'll probably ask me some clarifying questions, which is what I hope it would do. So, it's asking me if I wanted to pull different competitors. I'm going to say yes, and it's going to take a few minutes, and it'll deliver a full report to me. So, I could just essentially leave this now. I could turn it turn off my phone and my laptop, continue on with my dinner and come back either in the evening or the next morning and this I'll have this report waiting for me. Okay. And it's just completed this task for me. As you can see here in Dispatch on my laptop, this is the overview that it gives me. But if I go back into the actual co-work here, it shows the full task and all the research that it did. And also, I can look at the spreadsheet right here. So, I can click on this and this is the spreadsheet that it put together. And this would be waiting for me the the next morning when I sit down for work. And here's another example I could do. I could say organize my recents folder on my computer. Sort screenshots into screenshots, PDFs into documents, and delete anything older than 90 days. So I'm going to go ahead and put that into my phone into dispatch. So I would just confirm which folder that I wanted to do this for on my computer and it'll get to work. So hopefully you can see by this, this is a fundamentally different way to think about your workday. Dispatch isn't just clawed on your phone. It's cue real work from anywhere and have it done for you when you get back.

Okay, for use case number three. So, I just showed you the end of day handoff. But dispatch gets even more powerful when you combine it with computer use, which I alluded to in that previous use case. So, picture this. You're out getting coffee. You pull out your phone, you're waiting in line, you open the dispatch thread, and you type in, "Go to my YouTube analytics, pull my last 10 videos performance data, and build me a spreadsheet with views, click-through rate, and average view duration." And for something like this kind of task, not to state the obvious, but you would want to be logged into whatever app that you wanted to access. So for me, I wanted to access my YouTube analytic. So I had to log in first and in order to give it access to it. And while it's working here, this is what's so exciting about dispatch plus computer use together. It's not just file tasks anymore. Claude can interact with websites and your connected tools triggered from your phone. And that's a level of delegation that just wasn't possible before. So here we are in dispatch. And you can see here we already set the keep awake and you want to turn on all browser actions and then also for computer use you want to go into open settings. So this is going to take you in the back end of claude under settings under general and you can see here where it says all allow all browser actions. You want to make sure you turn that on. Computer use is turned on. You can also add apps to deny access to specific apps here. So you can just click on the add app button and you can go through and select whatever apps you want. I also highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the security precautions when using Claude in Chrome. So you can look at using Claude in Chrome safely here. And then also you can go down here to the permissions. So Claude in Chrome permissions guide and it'll walk you through the different modes. Ask before acting, act without asking. So let me show you what that looks like. Over in co-work here, you'll see cloud code permissions where it says ask permissions, auto accept edits, plan mode. What I'd recommend that you do is do ask permissions, especially when you're first starting out.

Okay. And my YouTube analytics task that I put into dispatch, as you can see in the screen here, has finished up. So, it gives me this nice little overview right here. And I'm going to click on the spreadsheet. And here is the spreadsheet it put together for me. And this actually looks really, really good. Now, what I can also do here now that it's done this step, I can tell it to analyze the spreadsheet to extract any learnings that I should have for new topics going forward.

Okay, for use case number four, we're going to create a daily AI news digest delivered to my Slack every single morning. And we're going to use the new feature scheduled tasks in Chrome to do this. Scheduled tasks are essentially what they sound like. Inside Co-work, you can schedule any task to run on a reoccurring basis, whether that's daily, weekly, whatever cadence that you want. So, here I am in Co-work and I already have this set up. So, let me show you what this looks like. So again, if you're just starting from scratch, just click on new task, name your task, give it a little description here, and give it the prompt. I've already written up the full instructions for exactly what I want it to do. So what this is doing, it's looking in my AI newsletters folder in my Gmail and it will sort through and I've given certain criteria for the types of stories and news stories that I want to see. And so that's what the instructions are telling it to do. So I'm going to click on this. I've already created again. I'm going to click on run now. and it'll tell you that the that the task has started. So I'm going to click on view and you can see it working right here. So it's telling me that it found 18 newsletters. By the way, it's able to use Gmail and Slack, which is what I've asked it to do. So I can go into customize, for example, over here in the lefth hand column here, and I can click on connectors, and you'll see up here which connectors I currently have set up. So for example, Gmail and Slack. So it's working now, but normally this is running all by itself at 7:00 a.m. every single morning. And I when I open up my laptop in the morning, I open up my Slack, it's going to have the digest for me right there.

Okay, here I am in Slack and this is the report. This is the digest that it just sent me. And you know, it looks pretty good. I like how it colored it. I don't know what the I forget actually what the color coding is supposed to be. Oh, it gives me the full message here where it gives me new tools, productivity, and a key insight that it took from all of the different newsletters because most of them are saying the exact same thing. So again, this scheduled task is such a great feature because it's saving me so much time of having to go through every single one of these newsletters every day.

Okay, for use case number five, we're going to have Claude do a full UX audit of my your zone of genius app. This is my new app for members of my AI playbook community. And now we're getting into the stuff that genuinely feels like the future here with AI. Okay, so again, what computer use is, it can see your screen, it can click buttons, it can type text, scroll through pages, open apps, etc. It's basically interacting with anything on your desktop the way that you would. And then inside Chrome with the cloud browser extension, you can turn on certain permissions. So for example, if I'm over in Chrome and I click on the cloud extension, I can come down here and I can set the necessary permissions that I'm comfortable with. Ask before acting or acts or act without asking. I'd recommend doing ask before acting. And then again, you can come back over here in the back end of your cloud settings and you can add whatever apps that you want to deny cloud access to. So you control how to set these up. So here's the UX audit use case. And I think this is super super cool. So what I'm going to do in cloud co-work is I'm going to tell it to open up my app in a browser and I'm going to give it the app URL. So in co-work I'm going to say open up my app in a browser. I'm going to give it the URL of my app and I'm going to say go through the full user flow as a new member from the onetime passcode login right through to the dashboard and identify any UX issues, confusing steps or friction points that a new user might or would encounter. So I'm going to make sure that I'm using Opus 4.6 six model for this because this is a more complex type of workflow and click on let's go. And as you can see here, it's saying let me load up the browser tools and get started. So, as always in a co-work project here, it's mapping out a clear plan to do all through the steps here. It's going to give you the progress as it goes through the steps. So, as you can see here, it's going through the login process step by step. It even went to my email and grabbed the onetime passcode code to log into my app. And so it's going through right now the app as it would a new user. And by the way, for reference, this is the app. This is my Arizona Genius app. So I've created an AI team for members of my community.

And in less than 15 minutes, it has completed my full UX audit. So it says it walked through every screen, login, etc., etc. Four things I'd fix first. So I can click on the view the UX audit here and here is my entire audit from start to finish. Gives me executive summary, tells me what works well, issues identified, etc. I really like this and so obviously this is super helpful for me and this is a UX audit that would normally take a team member half maybe a full day because I'm going through documenting the steps, writing everything out, what works well, what issues are found. Claude did this in less than 15 minutes.

Okay, for the next feature, this is the new feature called Claude visualizations. And to show this feature in action, the use case I want to share with you is visualizing my onboarding flow for the app that I just showed you. And what this is, Claude can now create interactive charts, diagrams, visualizations right inside a conversation that you're having. And I'm just in normal Claude chat. You don't even need co-work for this. So here's what this prompt looks like. Create an interactive process flow for how users get added to the your zone of genius app. I've listed out the steps. Make each step clickable to show what happens. Include decision points for success slashfailure. So, I'll click go. I'm going to use the Opus 4.6 model because this is a little bit more in-depth of a request that I'm asking it to do. And you can see here it's creating the interactive process flow for the onboarding. And here is the interactive process flow that I just created for onboarding, backend onboarding for the Zona Genius app. And what I love about it, it's totally clickable like I asked it to be. So, step one, admin request access. Step two, I can click on this and what happens? The command endpoint, the decision point, all changes per step. I can keep clicking through this and this updates as I click. And another cool thing with this, if you want, if I want to export this process flow, this interactive process flow, I can just use the mermaid chart connector. So, I can just go down here to the plus button here, click on connectors, click on manage connectors, click on the plus button, click on browse connectors, and I can just type in mermaid. So, you can see here mermaid chart. I can just click on the plus button here. I can export the whole interactive flowchart as a sharable link or as code. If let's just say that we wanted to embed that into one of our pages or into notion or whatever it might be. Makes it super easy to do it with the mermaid chart uh connector.

Okay. And for use case number seven, this is what I like to call finding your first win with co-work. And this last one is for anyone watching this video right now saying, "Okay, I love all this, but where do I actually start?" Well, inside co-work, there's now an ideas section. So I can click on ideas over here and as you can see here I can sort by all roles or I can sort by marketing engineering etc. So let's just say I want to choose marketing. Well I can do write a blog post or create a presentation analyze competitors etc. And let's just say that I want to turn documents into a presentation. Well by clicking it it's going to start the co-work session for me. It's already has a pre-written prompt here. And then what it'll do, it's going to ask me any questions for like assets that are needed to do this task that I've asked it to do. It's really, really cool. And again, you have this full marketplace, if you will, of pre-done ideas.

So, there you have it. Seven new mind-blowing Claude use cases. As you can see, Claude isn't just something that you chat with anymore. It's something that actually does the work for you. And a lot of times, it's doing it on an automated by itself basis for you. You've got memory that learns your business, projects that get smarter every week. You've got dispatch that lets you delegate from your phone and come back to finish files and projects. Scheduled tasks that run while you're doing other things. Computer use that gives Claude access to your actual screen and allows it to do full-on projects from start to finish for you. And also visualizations that you can build in seconds and also download.
