Oh, so we are talking about transits tonight, and transits through the 11th house, which is a very fun place. Oftentimes, the transits that go through the 11th house will be very positive because of the nature of that environment. What it means, it's a great place. It's a house of super karma and super returns because planets are able to bring us the consequences that sometimes can be very, very good. Sometimes they can be not what we would choose if we could do things again.
So, the 10th house is where we have a lot of results. The 11th house is where we have a lot of results. So, we have to look at transits as going through a process of development because they're going through our first all the way to our twelfth. And so, we're getting to the end of things, or in what would be considered the balsamic phase of the process that that transit is indicating. So, there's a wrap-up that's happening as planets are going through the 11th and the 12th house.
And as planets are going through the 11th house, we can experience more windfalls, consequences, opportunities, changes. And we always have to keep in mind that the planet that's going through the 11th is eventually going to make it to the 12th. And that's where we have this period of time where we are coming to a total end. So, with planets going through the 11th, we're almost there, and we can really see some great things. If we're seeing more negative things or more difficult things, then that can extend into the 12th house as well.
Because generally, when we have failed to meet the mark, or there hasn't been a maturing, say we didn't get the memo as a planet has gone through the first to the 11th, we will experience more of the dissolving or the ending, depression, or pressure, or disappointment as that planet is going through the 12th. If at the 11th house stage, we haven't received a confirmation or seen good results for things. So, if it's going good in the 11th, it's likely going to go good in the 12th. And if it's going difficult in the 11th, it's probably going to continue to be more difficult in the 12th until we get to that first house cusp, we start out again, it's a clean slate.
So, we see the results in the 10th. We see the results in a larger scope in the 11th. We see how we've actually made an impact, or how our personal evolution has affected the people around us, the world around us. What kind of mark we've really made in a larger way. How influential have we been? What has that influence been like? Have we participated? Have we been cooperative? These are all themes that the 11th house is going to bring up.
And we have to understand any transit going through the 11th and 12th house as being the last informer when it comes to the ending of that cycle. So, pay attention to the kinds of results you're getting, the kinds of consequences, the kinds of opportunities you're getting as planets go through the 11th house, because that's giving you confirmation that you got the memo, or we're finding out that, "Okay, well, I may not have hit the mark this time, but there is another chance."
So, let's talk about the Sun in the 11th house. So, this is where we focus on how to combine and cooperate and harmonize with the groups and the people around us, because we're bringing a very egoic, personal idea of ourselves into the 11th house of group interactions. So, if we are making things all about us, then we can have a more difficult month, a more difficult several weeks of things, where we can find that other people aren't helping us, they're not working with us, they're being uncooperative. It's a reflection of our own personal interactions.
But if we are able to keep our individuality, but still find a way to participate, find a way to be a part of things, then this is going to be a really fun month. This can be a month where we're more social, we're more flamboyant, we're more experimental. It's a colorful month. And we may learn that with planets going through the 11th house, your vibe attracts your tribe. And with the Sun and or Mars, the quality of our cooperation has a lot to do with the kind of tribe we are going to attract. How we're going to affect that tribe.
So, we have to really watch our vibe, because that's something that really reverberates out into what people say about us, how our friends interact with us, our larger social system. So, we can increase our popularity during the time that the Sun goes through the 11th, or we can impact it negatively. It depends on how selfish we're being, or how much we're just making things all about us, instead of enjoying the party, because it's real hard to party by yourself. It's really, really hard to have a good rockin' time when we're all by our special lonesome self. So, the party is in the 11th house, and we have to be willing to join the party.
With the Sun going through there, with the Moon going through the 11th house, this is a very brief period, just days that the Moon will go through the 11th house. There's wanting more to connect with our friends, to have some kind of conversation. Sometimes we can have lunch together and share. We're more inclined to send email and, you know, just hook up with somebody in our group and our social system, maybe even our church group, that can lend us some of their time.
So, we want to connect with others who bring us a sense of belonging or community. And because the Moon is where we do things intimately, we wouldn't have that intimacy with 11th house types of situations. We tend to get along better with women, the females in our lives, with the Moon going through the 11th. And we are more supportive towards the people in our lives and are seeking that type of support in return.
So, one other thing with the Moon going through the 11th, and it will be a very brief time, is that we may spend some time looking at how do some of our behaviors and coping mechanisms really work. Are they still working, or are we kind of beating our head against a brick wall? So, we may think about updating some of that habitual behavior that we all have. The Moon is just that habitual emotional behavior, the tape that is always running in the back of our mind.
So, we may take a look at, and it would be a briefer look, but it could be something that furthers the pursuit of more emotional freedom or genuine security. If that's also something that other parts of the personality are already thinking about, we're dealing with. If we're having transits that encourage more liberation or 11th house things, and this could be something that can push us further in that right direction.
Let's look at Mercury going through the 11th house. We have to look at what are we practicing with our behavior, what are we practicing with our routine, what are we trying to get out of just putting one foot in front of the other. So, the way that we are building our life, the plans that we're making for ourselves, the way that we're going about that, you know, to do a little bit every day to further that goal. We look at that with Mercury in the 11th house.
Some people can become disenchanted with some of those things that they've been building or doing or working on or perfecting or practicing with Mercury going through the 11th house, because we can have more thoughts like, "Is this really what I want? Is this really worth all my effort? Did I make the right decision?" Because we're thinking more about personal freedom or a feeling of being unburdened. And if what we're doing on that mercurial level isn't supporting an idea of a free, unfettered life, a life of liberty, a life where we get to choose, and we may redirect, we may add or subtract to what it is that we're doing.
So, we can have less thinking about mundane things, more thinking about the larger scope of things. It can be a forgetful time because we're not always focused on the little details. So, there's more social interaction, exchange of ideas. And it can often be, as Mercury's going through the 11th house, that we'll have a conversation or an interaction. We'll meet somebody who's unlike us. It could be somebody that, you know, we just don't have much in common with, but they can offer us something, they can redirect us, inspire us.
To sometimes be the catalyst for the disenchantment that we can find, and then need to redirect ourselves. So, in getting various viewpoints, meeting people who aren't like us, it helps us to know more, to see bigger, to have a larger scope. But we also have to remember that just having conversations and friends about our judgments or our judgmentalness, that doesn't automatically change that within us. So, there's often some analysis that would have to go along with that.
But we're really looking at, "How am I limiting my own life with my own judgmental attitudes, my own unexamined routines, my own ideas about self-perfection?" and moving beyond some of those things. So, we just have a larger life experience, more personal freedom, or freedom to interact with whoever it is that we might really vibe with. So, we can examine some parts of ourselves that have maybe in the past made it more difficult to interact with people who were different than us in whatever way that may be.
So, Venus in the 11th house. Now, Venus is generally great in any house. This is where we find the harmony during that time, and it's very easy to work with a variety of people. We have Venus going through the 11th house. We are pretty agreeable towards everybody with Venus going through the 11th, and that is reflected back to us. We're well-liked. We could even be promoted with Venus going through the 11th house, because people can be saying very good things about us.
There could be a certain amount of acknowledgement because we are emitting something very, very positive, and we can definitely have some of that positivity reflected back to us. So, relationships that we begin with Venus going through the 11th house do tend to be a bit freer. That doesn't mean that they'll be open relationships, but they do tend to be marked with an authenticity, a lack of over-idealization, and more equality.
So, it's easy to make new friends. It is easy to find the support of friends. We are more social with Venus going through the 11th house. We might make a little bit of unexpected money, or find some money, maybe a bank account that we've forgotten about, cash in a pocket somewhere. We may even find that there's belongings that we're just not interested in owning anymore, but they could fetch a few pennies on eBay, or if we took them over to a consignment shop. So, we make a little bit more, we feel a bit richer with Venus going through the 11th house.
This is a very fun transit. It just brings a lot of warm responses from the world at large because we ourselves are being very affable, very agreeable. So, the ability to compromise is also enhanced with Venus going through the 11th house, and generally, there really isn't anything negative about the kinds of compromises that we will be doing. Now, if you have a personality that suffers from being too compromising, then we might want to be careful what we're committing to or giving away with Venus in the 11th. But generally, this is a fine transit for most everybody.
Let's talk about Mars. So, this can be a very good transit. Mars in the 11th, it can be, but not for everybody. It can be a very good transit if we are willing to work with others in an effort to achieve our purpose. So, we have to pool our efforts with Mars going through the 11th house. If we can't do that, then we can end up having a pretty hard time. We can feel like people are unhelpful, our friends are jerks, people are not cooperating.
So, if we are easy to work with and we are cooperating, then that is what we see. That is the type of help that we will get. So, this can actually be a really positive transit for a lot of people because we can make real progress when it comes to getting what we want. But it's like the saying, "Many hands make lighter work," something like that. It's an "I'll scratch your back and you scratch mine" type of thing. But sometimes with Mars in the 11th, we might have to be the one that scratches first and puts out that energy. But that response does come back to us, because again, this is a house of super karma.
And the kind of karma that we see in the 11th house can be very, very quick. It can be very instantaneous. The results that we see, the consequences, the interactions that give us a sense of who we are, if we understand what where that response might be coming from. How we are an emitter and a receiver, an emitter and a receiver. So, we receive things pretty darn quickly with planets going through the 11th house.
So, we have to be willing to share the steering wheel with Mars going through the 11th. Be open to being flexible, working with other schedules, working with others' needs, because we have to have more than just us involved to achieve our end. And we might even find that we are enjoying ourselves a bit more when we do have a buddy along. So, we can be ostracized, left out, like if we aren't willing to find somebody to pool our efforts with, at least one other person. We have to learn that we don't live in isolation with planets going through the 11th house. We are social species.
And if we are being controlling, if we're being dictatorial, if we were being a team player, that's basically what it is. If we aren't willing to work as a team, then it's going to be hard to feel like we're getting anywhere. We can feel very blocked. And again, we can feel like life itself, and then the people, all the people, are keeping us from having or being or achieving what we want. So, it can be a very crabby outcome for some people, a grouchy outcome. And with Mars going through the 12th, we can then continue to deal with that anger, that aggression, that can turn inward during that particular transit.
So, are we willing to cooperate? Because if we are, we can really make some serious progress with Mars going through the 11th. So, let's talk about Jupiter. Now, we're getting into the outer planets that have a lot more consequence when they're going through a particular environment. The inner planets are only in there for days to weeks, sometimes we can have months if we have a retrograde going on. But the outer planets, from Jupiter on out, they are going to be in a sign for a certain amount of time. So, it will be long enough to really work on us and to seed some new ideas, new paradigms, bring some changes.
So, we're looking at Jupiter. He's in a house about a year, if you have a typical 30-degree house. So, with Jupiter going through the 11th house, we find that our friends are very valuable in achieving our hopes and our dreams. Our friends can be more helpful than what we're used to. Our social system may even support us or lift us up. There's a lot of positivity that we are calling back in. We're seeing a lot of the results for long-term efforts.
With the inner planets, we're seeing more results for how we're acting that day, how we're acting that week, what's going on with us more in real-time. But with the outer planets, we're seeing results for what we have been working on for the entirety of that cycle, from first to 12th. And we've been working on this for a long time now. With Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, we're never going to see a complete cycle. But whatever houses that they do happen to transit during our lifetime is the part of the cycle that we are personally involved in.
So, with Jupiter going through the 11th house, we're more promoted. The kind of karma that we can get back can be the kind that puts wind in our sails when it comes to propelling us closer to having some of our dreams come true, having the life that we've always wanted more available to us. So, people can help us with Jupiter going through the 11th house. We can extend our social system, our network. We may ourselves feel quite humanitarian, want to do something to help the world, feel that we're called to something with Jupiter in the 11th house.
And that can be fine, because the kind of energy that we expend with Jupiter in the 11th house, it needs to be something that everybody can benefit from. It needs to be something that has some kind of group or social impact. So, it isn't just about us. We're not just acting on our inspiration with Jupiter for the sake of selfishness when it's in the 11th house. So, it's like we get to slice our pie, or we get to pick our apple, where we get to open our present. It's so much more fun and more meaningful where we can do that, or have that, or eat that, or enjoy that with somebody else.
And the larger the party, the better, because this is where we find parties is the 11th house. So, we want to be the one that reinvigorates or reinspires the party and have some kind of meaningful effect. You know, kind of like when you go to a really good party that somebody really put some effort into, and you really enjoyed yourself, and you come away feeling refreshed. Like, "I haven't partied like that in years," or "I haven't had a good time like that in a long time." We forget ourselves during that party. We take a break from the mask, we take a break from the personal ego, and we are just having fun. We are just interacting, instead of acting, which would be the opposite fifth house thing.
So, in that interaction, we forget the action of the ego. And Jupiter is going to bring us potentially some really good things if we can make the people around us happy, make them laugh, entertain them. Because what we give, particularly well, Jupiter and Saturn, when we're going through the 11th, the kind of generosity that we extend with Jupiter in the 11th house, that does come back to us. That is returned. We're recognized for that. It's not wasted in space.
We want to extend that generosity to the kinds of people, animals, communities, systems, social systems where we can actually have our energy mean something. So, we get really good results when Jupiter's coming through the 11th house. If we keep our impact to ourselves, then we don't have the payoff, because Jupiter is itself about social community involvement and about how that connection with other people is a part of what brings us joy and meaning and the reason to get out of bed in the morning. We need other people.
There's the odd duck that doesn't, but most of us, we would be very lost if we woke up and found we were the only person on the planet. We wouldn't have much to do and probably go crazy. Other people keep us sane. Sometimes they drive us crazy, but we have the option to pick and choose. We need to have some people in our life, or else we just don't fly right. And we're a social animal.
So, with Jupiter going through the 11th, we need to make sure that we're not keeping our light to ourselves. And that could really be as simple as doing something that we personally enjoy, but we know it also brings some amount of happiness to the world, like volunteering at the humane society, or getting involved in something that helps to make the world a better place. Those can be simple movements. We don't have to look very far to find those kinds of opportunities.
So, this can be a very enlightening time for some people, too. They can discover some things about the nature of reality, the things that we can come to know through wisdom more than through knowledge. We can have some serious light bulb moments with Jupiter going through the 11th house. Some people's ideology will break down and form into something that's more freeing. If we have somebody who is still dealing with a lot of personal ego or being driven by unexamined motivations, sometimes people's ideology can develop into something very immovable as it's going through the 11th house, or something that is very comforting for them.
Some people can become more extreme if they already are at a tipping point as Jupiter is going through the 11th house. So, we want to make sure that we aren't joining movements or political cults or following people who promise to save us, but when we look at the actual evidence of who they are, how they live their lives, there isn't really much reason to have hope in them. We can be taken in by hypocrisy if we ourselves are being driven more by unexamined processes, patterns, voices within our own self.
So, some people can become more extreme in their ideology. Some people become much more accepting when it comes to their ideology. That's mostly how it goes is that most people tend to develop a broader perspective rather than reinforce a more negative or divisive personal perspective. Most people do develop a wider scope when Jupiter's going through the 11th. We can see things about our own beliefs that sometimes we will come to understand aren't true, that maybe aren't completely true, or they aren't reasonable.
So, we can put some of our beliefs, some of our cultural ideas, our social identifications, we can put those to the test, or look at things more in a rational, objective way. Sometimes what used to give us comfort, when meeting what just won't make it, it won't make sense anymore, and it won't cut the mustard. So, we may update some of those old, more religious or culturally bound ideas.
Let's talk about Saturn going through the 11th. So, this is a serious house for Saturn to go through. The 10th, the 11th, the 12th, because we're wrapping up a long cycle. A lot of us will only have two Saturn cycles in our lives. Some of us may live long enough to have three. And sometimes, when we're very young, we are not going to be able to appreciate some of the transits that we have. Saturn in the 11th may be one of them, because it's usually the second round when Saturn goes through the 11th that we get the good stuff. Sometimes we're not as prepared as it goes through the 11th earlier in our life.
So, we are receiving a report card every time Saturn goes into a house. And when it goes into the 11th, we're receiving a super report card. It was like one of the big tests with Saturn in the 10th house, and now we're getting another test. And it comes, the karma comes in the form of the kind of tribe that we decide to merge with, the kind of people that we decide are what we want to be a part of.
So, Saturn, as he's gone through the houses, this has been a long journey because it takes about 28 years to wrap up a complete Saturn process from first house cusp back to first house cusp, all the way around the wheel. So, the quality of our social relationships, our supporters, our friends, our happiness, how personally free or liberty we feel, that's all a part of the report card, a part of the response that we're getting, the karma that we're receiving.
So, we are going to see the fruits of our long-term efforts with Saturn going through the 11th house. This is the house of fruits. So, if we got a good grade, we will have achieved a freer, more liberated life. But if we end up getting a bad grade, then we are going to start to enter a process of dissolving, a process of breakdown, and that will continue as Saturn goes into the 12th house. So, we can experience that disappointment. At that point, Saturn's going through the 11th, well, we can experience a security, a feeling of having done well, having established something.
So, this is a very interesting place for Saturn to be, because there's a big karmic dump as it goes through the 10th, 11th, 12th. And it can be in a longer-term period of time that we can be in a Saturn depression or a Saturn hole as it's going both through the 11th and the 12th, if we aren't seeing the kinds of fruits or the kinds of results that we would like to see with Saturn going through the 11th house.
So, we have to continue to refine the quality of the responsibility that we take as Saturn goes through the 11th house. This is not a time where we can just completely put our feet up, because we have to consistently watch ourselves. After we've had that Saturn breakthrough, that aquarium liberation, we understand that we will always have to practice self-discipline. We don't get to a place where we're like, "Well, you know, I learned it all, just get to do everything now." Sometimes we get to go on vacation. That's fabulous. That helps us to appreciate our routine more and to have, well, just that place of absence that I think that everybody needs in their life sometimes.
But for the most part, Saturn is where we continue to work. And we continue to always keep in mind that we can't just put up our feet up and rest, because then we fall back. So, it's not that we're working ourselves to the bone. That's not the right side of Saturn. We are working on the kind of life that we would like to have, so it doesn't feel like we're working for someone else or doing things we don't want to do. If we're getting to that mature side of Saturn, the energy that we're putting out, it requires something of us, but we can see the logic in it, because we know that it's really for or in service to our choice, in service to what we want to do.
So, we aren't just laboring for someone else. We're laboring for ourselves. But that takes a lot of responsibility. It's like the difference between working for a corporation that provides everything for you and being somebody who works for yourself and has that responsibility of your own healthcare and paying in your own government taxes. And there's a lot that comes with that. There's a lot of reasons to want to work for somebody else because there's just a lot of benefits that can come with that. You're not responsible for everything.
So, it does make sense why in some cases it can be easier to work for a system or work in a job that maybe sometimes they don't always love, but it may be worth it to us because we don't have to, say, pay that high insurance or take on all the liability, the responsibility. But Saturn, when we get to that right side of Saturn, the evolved side of Saturn, that's when we understand that we work for ourselves. Even if we work for someone else, we work for ourselves because we have chosen that. We have chosen to work for that company. We have chosen to work in whatever area we want. We understand that we are the one who's responsible for being in service to that person or that industry, or to ourselves if we work for ourselves.
So, it is a big karmic delivery for the last cycle of many years with Saturn going through the 11th house. And we have to remember that the quality of the responsibility that we take for ourselves in our life is always something that we're refining. And if we continue to move forward with that, the transit of Saturn through the 11th house can be much, much easier. But again, if we're getting difficult results as the planet's going through the 11th, that does tend to continue on through the 12th until we get to where everything has been dissolved, wiped clean, and we can start again at that first house cusp.
So, let's talk about Uranus. So, we're ready for that. Uranus in the 11th house, he'll be in the 11th house for about seven years. It'll be a good long time that I will be able to be under that influence. This is a great place for Uranus to be because this is his natural home. A couple of things happen when it comes to rebellion with Uranus going through the 11th house. We can rebel against groups that curb our freedom, or we can find groups and merge with groups that increase or bring our freedom. So, it's usually a combination of both.
We can have a falling out with religious circles, political parties, cultural affiliations. We can fall out of love with those kinds of associations or groups because we ourselves are changing. And the kinds of people that we choose to associate with are very much a reflection of how we see ourselves.
So, we are rebelling against anybody or any group or any groupthink that is trying to keep us within a framework or trying to mold us with Uranus in the 11th house. So, we can come out of this transit with a whole different support system, all different friends, different group affiliations, different religion, different political ideas. They can be very, very freeing for some people.
One thing to keep in mind is that Uranus does have a dictatorial side. It has its humanitarian, freedom-loving, liberated side. It also has a very rigid side where we can get into rigid thinking while believing that it is the best thinking or the most humanitarian thinking, where it might actually be oppressive because it's more based on the individual and the individual outlook rather than all of us together.
So, we want to be careful that we aren't falling into groups or belief systems that seem like they are liberating and they seem like they are really offering us some kind of a better way, but they might actually be taking away our freedom, or they might actually be taking away the freedom of other people. So, I want to be careful about what it is that we're enforcing out of the idea of what's good for us all, because a lot of times with humans, many, many times with humans, we tend to enforce what's good for the individual. And that's a hard thing to have real actual legitimate tolerance. That's a hard thing because it does mean extending ourselves to allow people to exist in ways around us that we would never choose for ourselves, and that sometimes we even find our immoral choices.
So, we need to just be very careful that we aren't enforcing a false freedom for ourselves or the people around us, because that is something that will bring us the type of consequences or karma where we're going to involve ourselves with people that just recycle that kind of thinking and outcome and belief system. And so, we're not going to be able to see our way out of that very well, because it's going to become a culture. Everybody's doing it. When everybody's thinking of the same thing, we don't tend to question it because, well, that's what everybody's doing and thinking.
So, we can get into a possibility of not being as open as we believe ourselves to be. So, we want to be careful. We can see some dreams coming true if we are thinking differently, less rigid. We can see opportunities coming to us because some people do start thinking very, very differently in a way that allows them to get some of their hopes and their dreams, because they can find that the way that they're perceiving the world is leading to a different outcome because they're perceiving it differently. We're getting a different result.
So, we can have an epiphany with Uranus going through the 11th house. And those epiphanies will come during that period of time as Uranus is going through the 11th house over a period of about seven years. It won't be every day, it won't be on a schedule, definitely will not be on a schedule with Uranus. It will be something that you really can't expect, but it is awesome when it happens. So, we can have those moments where we really realize that what we thought was true isn't, or we can start thinking in a way that allows us to get out of a circular pattern and to go finally in a different direction.
So, we can get involved with friends that can upset our current system as well. We can find people who are different, or people who have a different perspective, and that can be something that rocks the boat when it comes to our attachment to the past. Our family, our friends can actually be the ones that start that snowball rolling down the hill of freeing ourselves from restrictive relationships. So, this can be a very, very interesting time. We need to think carefully. And we're generally, if we're not thinking carefully, we can end up following paths that again seem to lead to personal freedom for all.
So, we have to exercise our skepticism with Uranus going through the 11th house. But we can be very optimistic in general, and that optimism, that flexibility of thinking can lead to outcomes that we could not have thought of before. It's a very inventive time for a lot of people.
Let's talk about Neptune. Are we ready for that? Neptune in the 11th house, it's going to be about 14 years that Neptune is in any given house. And we will have bubbles pop. In any house that Neptune goes, there will always be some kind of disillusionment and then coming back to center in a way where we're participating in reality a bit better. But we tend to become more disillusioned about our friends, our groups, our social systems, our politics, our leaders.
It can be one of those moments where we may even lose faith or belief in our own nation, in what it is that we all as a nation have always thought ourselves to be or claimed to be. We see the hypocrisy in 11th house situations with Neptune going through it. So, we can find that what we believed in when it comes to Aquarian things, 11th house things, these are serious things that we believe in. This is a big part of the structure that keeps us participating in society and reality. And if we lose faith in that structure, we can lose faith in our institutions as Neptune is going through that 11th house.
That can be extremely upsetting for people because humans build institutions as a source of security. It's what we invest in. Those are our monuments that we build to things and ideas. And we put all of our eggs in those institutional baskets. And we do need a certain amount of structure. Those institutions that we build and invest in. And these could be institutions of government, the institution of marriage, the institution of religion. We also have in the West material institutions like the institution of McDonald's. These are things, there's kind of one of the backbones of our culture.
But as we start to lose faith in those things, the bubble starts to pop. It can feel like we don't belong anywhere. Because when the bubble pops in the 9th house, that's one thing. It's when we lose our moral map. But when our bubble pops in the 11th house, we don't even feel like we belong to a country. It's like the difference between losing faith in your religion and feeling like you are a man or a woman without a home, your ship that can never reach port because you don't belong anywhere.
So, it's a very interesting time for people because what they tend to come back to, what they tend to solidify as after they go through that meltdown of "I don't know what to believe in," it tends to be more a belief in participation at large. So, it's a border eraser when Neptune goes through the 11th house. Now, that doesn't mean that we are going to drive down to the border and we're going to destroy ourselves and let everybody pour in. That's not the kind of action that we're going to do. We still have a sense of what's good for everybody. And it's not going to make us so selfless we will lose our sense. We'll still have a sense of rule and regulation and a boundary.
But our idea of what is worth enforcing, what is worth dying for, where is the dividing line, that becomes much more philosophical. And that becomes a very complex question with Neptune going through the 11th house, because we ask, "Am I loyal to the nation? Am I loyal to the country? Or am I loyal to humanity?" This is the difference between the 11th and the 9th house. The 9th house is the cultural ideas and the religious ideas and the philosophical ideas that we share. But the 11th house is that national border, and beyond that lies the 12th, which is all of us together.
So, this can be a very confusing time for people because the loyalties that they've always had may not always be there. And that can be quite a crisis. That itself can lead to an identity crisis, a crisis of belief. Because then, the things that we espouse, if we don't espouse those anymore, we will find different people to be with. We will find sometimes different places to live. We'll find something that fits our own identity better. So, it's interesting because sometimes people can have the identity crisis, and then that will lead to the larger shift. But in this case, we can have the larger shift that will then lead to the personal identity crisis.
So, it's the philosophical questions that we start to ask ourselves with Neptune going through the 11th house that are just a Pandora's box. And sometimes we wish that maybe we shouldn't ever have started to ask those questions, because it was so much easier to just have everything in its border and in its framework and in its separation. But Neptune and the 11th house means all of us together. And we really have to examine, are we loyal to our section, or are we loyal to humanity?
Pluto. Pluto in any one house, Pluto can be there for a couple of decades. It depends on what sign he's in. Pluto does not have a very round orbit. He's very, very egg-shaped. He spends a good amount of time in any sign, but in some signs, it can just be forever. Like in Capricorn, in Aquarius, he's going to be there a couple of decades. So, he's going to work on us for a long, long time. Pluto is not going to transit all the houses of our chart in our lifetime. It'll only be a few.
So, when Pluto goes through the 11th, it's similar to a Uranus transit in that we may lose friends, and that is because we're seeing through our identification with them. We may change the groups that we affiliate ourselves with because we may not feel that vibe anymore. You're vibing, attracting that tribe with Pluto going through the 11th.
So, we have to redo, we have to reattract our social system. We may lose interest in some of our dreams as Pluto's going through the 11th house, because Pluto causes a breakdown. He causes us to melt down in any one area or in relationship to any one planet or action, and to rebuild, and to rebuild better. We never have to worry that what we lose with Pluto, or what ends, we needed to keep that. It's never that accidentally throwing out something valuable. Be like, "Oh God, now I have to go through the landfill and find that diamond ring." It's never like that. It's more like something is thrown out, we're like, "You know what? I never needed that ring anyway." We needed to lose it if it's a Pluto thing.
Where we understand the logic of it, it needed to go. So, Pluto is where we clean out a closet, and we clean out our friend closet when he goes through the 11th house. We are not interested in groups or friendships that aren't going to bring us some amount of depth or meaning into our life. We don't want to participate just for the sake of participating. We want to get something out of it. So, we're not settling for superficial causes.
And we may actually really throw ourselves into a cause where we can have a lasting social impact. We're a bit of a crusader with Pluto going through the 11th house, and that can be the best way to leave our mark, because that is where we put our energy into people, and our energy just spreads and spreads and spreads. We go viral. So, we want to have this, we want to have an impact, because that's where we're leaving our legacy. Pluto is how we're going to act on our legacy. So, that's a pretty good place to leave the legacy as the 11th house. We couldn't help to make some very lasting changes.
Now, we may not see those results in our lifetime. We may not be the ones that get to see the payoff for what we did where Pluto's concerned. So, we may put ourselves into a project or a movement or a political idea or social idea where we just don't get to see the fruits of that, but that's our legacy. That's what we left behind. Pluto is the fruits and potentially the garbage that we leave for other people to deal with. The guilt, it's sometimes the pain that we ourselves don't have any control over. It's how we ourselves have been a part of the underbelly, or hurt, or taken advantage of, or disenfranchised because of the underbelly.
Pluto is the underbelly. It's the reason why we make the laws of Jupiter. And sometimes those laws, we make them out of fear. Sometimes we make our laws out of a real vision for the kind of culture that we could all enjoy. So, with Pluto going through the 11th house, we may just throw ourselves into something that creates really good things for the people around us. And that doesn't mean we can't enjoy it at the time. It's kind of like an artist, you know, that may love enjoying that making that art, throwing themselves into it, got to express themselves, but they didn't become famous until after they passed on. They just didn't get to see the legacy.
So, we make a kind of sacrifice with Pluto, and that we're investing in the future. Maybe we'll be here to see it, but other people will. And it's the karma that we're leaving behind. We can leave behind pretty darn good karma. We can leave behind rewards that other people can pick up and enjoy. We do have to be careful with either Uranus or Pluto going through the 12th house that we don't get involved with power-seeking people, ruthless people, dictatorial people, because we can go off the deep end with Pluto or Uranus. And sometimes we may end up getting involved in a social cause or a system with people.
that maybe are not uh brightly motivated. They may be furthering some some dark karma there, or some dark consequences, or some fears that that maybe we just don't want to be a part of. If we're really thinking about what we're getting involved with, and what this might snowball into, and what we're leaving behind, and we want to be careful about what we're throwing ourselves into.
Um, because Pluto's going to be in this house for, you know, potentially a long time for some, for a lot of people. And we don't want to waste our energy following somebody who's not going to contribute to a better world, or not going to help us to contribute to a better world. So we have to be careful with what we're investing in. I think that's your Uranus and Pluto through the 12th, correct? In the, in the... Hold on, hold on. Included there would be more. I'm sorry, I lost it. I'm sorry. Go ahead. Say, can you ask me again? That was Uranus and Pluto through the 12th, as they're transiting the 12th. Just the 11th. Just the 11th. The 12th. I, I was talking about that because if we aren't doing well, if we aren't getting good results in the 11th, that is generally going to continue in the 12th, because that's where things dry up and disintegrate before they can start again. But Pluto in the 12th is, is quite different than the itself. Uh, because it isn't going to transit very many houses in our lifetime. Okay. And the reason you were saying be careful of like people of power, or becoming too attached to that. Uh, how did you draw your conclusion? Like, why is that?
Because well, Pluto is our unexamined fears. And often it's those unexamined fears and our dark side that can lead us to follow people that aren't the best intentioned, or that their selves power seeking, or, um, they just don't have a humanitarian, they're not driven by humanitarian things. They're driven by personal or ego or power seeking things. So we want to be careful what, um, what whose basket we're putting our eggs into. Because if it's somebody who's not motivated correctly, they might appear that they are to us because they're in tune with our own fear. And that may, we don't want to leave our fears behind. I don't want to make that more of a reverberation. So yeah, I always have to be careful with Uranus and Pluto when it comes to, uh, following people who promise what sounds good, but they may not be able to deliver. Neptune too, except that's a little bit different in that we can be more used, um, willingly used by those situations or these people. There's dictatorial types. Um, we will actively support and participate though with Uranus and Pluto. So, uh, yeah, I hear that. Um, the shadow side is, uh, always something that we have to continue to look out for. Um, and that's what we see with transits going through the seventh house, as we see that, uh, direct, I want a conflict with self and others. And then as those transits continue through and we get up into the 11th house, we see the potential resolution of those conflicts, or the furtherance of those conflicts, depends on how we've grown, what have we chosen? Because when we get to the 10th house, that was our major turning point. This is the decision point. Because we go from first to fourth, through seventh, through tenth, and then we dissect at the fourth. The fourth and the tenth, that's where those major squares, the 90 degree and the 270 degrees square. So if we did not dissect well, if we did not decide well, then in the 11th house, it's, uh, it's, it's not going to be an easy time with things. But there is always a new birth. Even if say, if we have Neptune or Pluto going through the 11th, and say we don't live long enough for it to get to the first, we don't, we don't live long enough to have a new cycle start over. Even if that's the case, that doesn't mean that we can't, um, I guess that doesn't mean that that we're stuck. It doesn't mean that that's, that's all we get. There's a, there's a way that we can learn and we can evolve and we can grow. And, and we can do it while we're here. We don't have to wait for, if you believe in another incarnation or another experience, we don't have to wait for that. We don't have to wait till we have another lifetime, say, where Pluto gets to our first house. We can have, we can have some things that aren't completely dealt with. We can have some things that we're still chewing on, some things that we haven't perfected, that we're still working on. And we can still have a great life. We can still have a lot of our dreams come true. So even if we don't get to that point of complete restart in this life, it doesn't mean that, you know, we're dead in the water. That was just our particular house. That was just our particular set of houses that that were touched by that type of, you know, uranium or plutonium pressure. And for everybody, it'll be a little bit different because Uranus and Pluto generally do not transit our entire chart in a lifetime. Sometimes you're in a swell for some of us. But if we are living consciously, that means we want to know ourselves. We can get the best out of any transit. That's what they're trying to teach us. They're just trying to tell us, get the memo, get the lesson. And we can choose to get that and get some of those really yummy things out of life. So I think we'll wrap up for for tonight.
