I get it. Some of you missed the point in the last video, but let me explain it again. Agents are a waste of time. You're building the wrong thing.
But wait, this is just another AI guru. No, it's not. Here's some authority building. 8 years in the Marine Corps working on cryptography and intelligence. Now, you literally worked on the software for these things. Look at that date. So, over 2 years ago, I was helping out schools figure out AI, and it was my own school that hired me to teach professors about it. I also have a company where I'm implementing softwares and training some multi-billion dollar companies. Literally, KPMG, the consultants, hired me to consult them.
But you don't have to listen to me. You can listen to the one company that's not doing the agent thing. Is doing agents. Open AI is doing agents. Lang Chain is one of the largest agent companies. But who doesn't let you build agents? Anthropic. The people behind Clawed Code. Why do you think that is? Because they realized the same thing that I and a couple other engineers on the planet also realized.
Best agent is a markdown file and scripts that are routed through the markdown file. As simple as that. And they're best organized through a framework called folders. You just take it for granted how easy it is to click through a folder. But this took years to develop and make normal for everyone to use. I'm not saying this is replacing production flows. I'm saying it's adding a whole new place of value. And when you zoom out and stop looking at the features in the software and look at the goal and job to begun, you'll change your mind pretty quickly on what I'm trying to do.
