Psalm 91, verse 11 declares, "He shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways." Charge means assignment. Keep means guard, protect, preserve. Angels are not distant heavenly beings floating somewhere in eternity. They are active, present, and involved in the everyday life of the believer.
