Undeclared wars are commonplace. Tragically, our government engages in preemptive war, otherwise known as aggression, with no complaints from the American people. Sadly, we have become accustomed to living with the illegitimate use of force by government. To develop a truly free society, the issue of initiating force must be understood and rejected.
What if sometimes to love your country you had to alter or abolish the government? What if Jefferson was right? What if that government is best which governs least? What if it is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong? What if it is better to perish fighting for freedom than to live as a slave? What if freedom's greatest hour of danger is now?
Hi everyone, Judge Andrew Npalitano here for Judging Freedom. Today is Monday, March 9th, 2026. Professor Jeffrey Sax joins us now. Professor Saxs, always uh a pleasure.
What damage is Trump's war of choice causing on the international geopolitical scene? First, we're entering an economic disaster. Uh we can see that uh most clearly in the shutdown of uh oil and gas production in the Middle East and the cascading effects of soaring prices and contracting output that we will see around the world. This will be a very very bad year. Israel and the United States will drive the entire world to crisis. economically. Of course, everything will change because of this depending on how long the madness goes on.
The madness is the madness of the president of the United States and the prime minister of Israel. Two people who have led the world into disaster. Two people who are megalomaniacs. They sit a top powerful military machines. They uh have basically unchecked authority right now because of a brain deadad Congress and because of uh Israel's system to do what they want and they have perhaps launched World War II, the two of them in tandem. Uh we're often asking these days, is the United States fighting Israel's wars? It's not like that. Uh the United States and Israel together are causing this madness. It's not Israel pulling the United States into this. It is a mad United States and a mad Israel which is pulling the entire world to catastrophe. And uh as long as these megalomaniacs uh are given the free reign, they will escalate. They will cause more mass murder, which they're already doing. They are carpet bombing toran. That means innocents dying by the hundreds, by the thousands, just like we watched in Gaza. These are people without scruples, without concern about life lost. We can see that with Trump on an individual level and on a massive scale. He doesn't feel it and he doesn't care and he's at top this military machine. So there's mass killing underway. There is mass destruction of the infrastructure of Iran of course but also of the uh Arabian Peninsula of the center of the world's hydrocarbon energy and the war will spread because Trump has determined that the war spread.
It is already a multi-continental war because we are at war in our own hemisphere. Trump will probably uh take some military action even more than now against Cuba. I say more than now because there's already an effective US blockade on that island which is an act of war. Uh we have the ongoing crisis in Venezuela that Trump has stoked out of nothing. Uh we have new threats against the Venezuelan government. We have a spreading war in the Middle East and we have a war underway in South Asia between Pakistan and Afghanistan with the links to uh the war in the Middle East and with grave dangers. There's another nuclear power involved in that war. Uh so we're stepping over so many trip wires we don't even notice them anymore. And uh many people cheering this on in the United States are saying you see Armageddon is is here. End of times is here. There's a a scatological underpinning for some Americans, by far, not the majority, but some that are drivers of what's happening right now. In other words, uh, judge, we're we're in a madness uh, and haven't been in this kind of danger since World War II.
I want to play a clip for you from uh the Secretary of the Treasury in which he used some language that I found to be outrageous. I suspect you will as well. It's relatively brief. Uh Secretary Bessant over the weekend, Chris number 18. >> The Indians had been very good actors. We had asked them to stop buying sanctioned Russian oil this fall. They did. They were going to substitute it with US oil. uh but to uh e ease the uh temporary gap of oil around the world uh we have given them permission to accept the Russian oil. We may unsanction other Russian oil. You know the the the other thing Treasury can do here Larry is there are hundreds of mill millions of sanctioned barrels of sanctioned crude on the water and in essence by unsanctioning them treasury can create supply >> didn't know that India needed the permission of the United States Treasury to buy oil from Russia >> this is why I say this is not a war caused by Israel this is a war of US hegemony meaning that Trump in his delusional state believes that he runs the world, that he owns the world's oil supplies, that he determines where Russia sells its oil, he determines where Venezuela sells its oil, and now he will determine where Iran and the Gulf countries sell their oil. The Gulf countries are already, in his mind, vassal states of the United States. They're occupied by US military bases. They're run by the CIA. Uh and he wants to do the same with Iran. Incidentally, uh the CIA once did run Iran. So there's a lot of nostalgia in this. This is why this is also a deep state project. Uh the CIA overthrew the democratic republic uh democratic government of Iran in 1953 and installed a police state and that police state did the bidding of the United States until 1979. And the CIA and Trump and Netanyahu want Iran back as a vassal state of the United States. So Besson's language giving permission to a country of 1.5 billion people the most populous country in the world is of course uh tragic in many ways uh vulgar in many ways wrong in countless ways but is accurate as the belief of uh this crazy locker room gang that thinks they run the world. And between Bessant and Hegsth and Trump, we really have a lot. Uh we have a a cascade of ignorance and violence and thuggery and irresponsibility.
What's going to happen is that the world is going to enter a crisis. Worldwide, people will come to understand that this crisis was caused by Israel and by the United States. There will be a reckoning from all of this. Uh they can't prevent it. There will be a reckoning. It will be a very harsh reckoning. It will be a very dangerous period that we're entering into. And uh thank you, but no thank you to the end of times. This is not what uh most of us in the world are after. We're after survival, well-being for our children, uh safety for our grandchildren and our children. We're not after the end of times and the war to end uh the earth. We're not after Armageddon. So, no thank you. We didn't vote for that. That is not what America is for.
What we have is a rogue government that is operating outside of the law. We have a collapsed state that does not operate according to the constitution. We have a senate that is brain dead because it won't accept the responsibility that it has under article one of the constitution as the body that decides war and peace. That's Congress, the Senate and the House of Representatives, not the President of the United States. We've had no debate about this. We have had no explanation. We have had complete confusion among these gangsters uh or these locker room boys, whatever you want to call them. They don't know what they're doing. They just know that they'll escalate and escalate and escalate. And the world's going to see very soon this is a disaster.
>> How uh is this being viewed from Moscow by President Putin and Foreign Minister Lavough and the Kremlin in general? Well, clearly it's being viewed as a um an infantile US government completely out of uh any kind of rationality or self-control. They have come to understand there's no use talking. There's no use negotiating. Negotiate with Mr. Witkov. Well, they watched uh Iran that twice only to get bombed on both occasions and on the latter occasion, especially judge because the Omani uh negotiator said it was making quick progress, they had to accelerate and escalate the bombing to make sure that they killed as much of the Iranian leadership that reportedly was meeting to discuss the negoti negiations and the next steps of the negotiation and that's when the CIA and Mossad decided that it would be good to murder all of them. This is a murder incorporated that we have right now.
>> How is this? >> Of course, everybody can see this. Nobody's blind to this anywhere in the world. Most are hunkering down just terrified. Don't look at me. Don't look at me, but everybody sees what's happening right now. I hope that Americans see it, too. We have a rogue government right now that is ordering mass murder and a war that was not even debated for one moment by American institutions. that was not considered for one moment by the United Nations. That is flagrantly in violation of both American law, the US Constitution, and international law. This is a rogue government.
Here's um here's an image uh of the new Ayatollah about whom Trump said several things. One, he wanted to be able to choose him. This is absurd of course, but he said it. Two, he doesn't expect the new Ayatollah to live very long. Didn't they learn a lesson that the murder of Ali Kimmani did not decapitate the government, did not cause a collapse, did not ferment a revolution, did not ferment a civil war, but actually united the Iranian people around the government in opposition to the American killers. judge, they don't learn anything. Uh, the worst institution we have is the CIA, which has no accountability at all for its actions, no matter how dreadful the outcomes are. There's no accountability for the president. There's no constraints by the Congress. And we're sitting here amazed and dazed at the vulgarities that come out of our president's mouth every day, much less the bombs that are coming out of uh the American uh uh military without any learning, any understanding, much less morality or decency or law.
I say this because the United States has been engaged in non-stop wars in partnership with Israel for decades. All of these have been disastrous, one after another. The Iraq war, phony from beginning to end, costing trillions of dollars to the United States, vast loss of life and continued instability. The war in Libya under Obama destroyed the government and wrecked the country for the next 15 years, leaving it in continued civil war. the war in Sudan where Mossad played such a large role in breaking apart that country to the point where there are two Sudans, Sudan and South Sudan, both of which are in civil war right now because of these geniuses. Somalia, which hasn't had a functioning government, but has had non-stop meddling by Mossad and Israel for decades. Of course, Palestine just having suffered a genocide and a complete destruction of Palestine and now Trump shaking down the US government, no less, to find 10 billion dollars no one has given him, trying to steal it so that he can pocket it in whatever way he wants in his mad board of peace, which is I won't use the words I'd like to use, serious where Obama again decided in 2011 at the CIA's behest and at Netanyahu's behest to overthrow the government. It's been 15 years of chaos. So you say, do they learn? They haven't learned anything. If we wanted to learn a basic lesson is that Netanyahu has been a disaster and that's why he's an indicted war criminal and we have been his partner all along and all of the wars have failed. They have just made chaos and all of them have been in the name of so-called greater Israel.
>> What does that mean? That means an Israel without borders that just expands when it wants to. That means an Israel that today is invading Lebanon and demanding the immediate evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people in utter desperation. That means a country, a government that is carpet bombing Iran today after mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza before our eyes in the past three years. Learn, they don't learn. The only word is murder. And that's what we are engaged in. That is our country. We talk about other places being univilized. We talk about Iran wanting a nuclear weapon. These people, Netanyahu and Trump, murdered the religious leader that said for 30 years that it is against religious principles to have a nuclear weapon. So they murdered him. This is this passes for government in the United States.
And by the way, with the coming economic crisis in the US, people are going to lose their jobs. They're going to lose their incomes. They're already facing prices at the gas pump that they have not seen for years. And it's going to go up for sure. And they're going to lose jobs because Trump, who promised with his razledazzle illegal tariffs, which took $140 billion out of the pockets of American workers, not out of foreigners, out of the pockets of American workers, which he refuses to give back. What did they do for employment and manufacturing? Well, we just had the report a few days ago of the Bureau of Labor Statistics which showed that manufacturing has lost 100,000 jobs since Trump came into office, lost a 100,000 jobs. So, do we have to live in the delusional world of this matter? Might we have a republic where we have laws, where we have congressional hearings, where we have reports, where we have data, and where we don't go to war on a whim.
Uh, one of the more vulgar things that Trump said was about the 170 little girls that were killed. Scott Ritter described to us what happened. I won't be too graphic, but the school was part of a complex of other buildings. Two empty warehouses and the school. Uh they were hit by five missiles. The second missile um hit the school and then they sent two more and then they sent a fifth to follow the second. The fifth was an incendiary missile in which the fuel in the missile was triggered to fire. So the school became a fireball and the little girls were incinerated. Here's what President Trump said about this on Air Force One last night with shoot them up Pete um chiming in. Cut number 10. >> Mr. President, >> did the United States bomb a girl's elementary school in southern Iran on the first day of the war and kill 175 people? >> My opinion, based on what I've seen, that was done by Iran. >> Is that true, Mr. Hicks? It was Iran who did that. >> We're certainly investigating. >> Still investigating. >> But the only the only side that targets civilians is Iran. >> We think it was done we think it was done by Iran. >> Can you give us an idea? >> They're very inaccurate, as you know, with their munitions. They have no accuracy whatsoever. It was done by Iran. >> If you slow down, Larry Johnson did this for us. If you slow down the video, you see it's a tomahawk, which is an American, not the Israelis. The Americans, following the Israeli tactics, incinerated 170 little girls uh with their teachers and with their parents who had been called in when the first bomb struck to bring the girls home. None made it home.
>> What can we say about this? This is um >> these are war criminals of the highest sort. You know that famous >> we have not seen anything like this in the world since Nazi Germany. >> Correct. >> This is not uh to be hyperbolic about it. This is to say that this is a war of two megalomaniacs who have dragged the whole world into a crisis. Let's remember what Netanyahu said, by the way. He said he's been dreaming of this war for 40 years. Dreaming of it. It's true. And I had to stand corrected because for many years I said he's been dreaming of it for 30 years. I guess I did not capture the full uh scale of his insanity. It's been 40 years, but I said for many years that since 1996, he has been dreaming of this war. The only thing that got in the way of launching this war is that the Iranians didn't want nuclear weapons and the Iranians wanted peace and the Iranians wanted to negotiate. So it's extremely important to keep assassinating the Iranian leaders because the most dangerous thing might have happened. We might have had an agreement with them and then poor Netanyahu his dreams of 40 years would have been blocked. He wouldn't have had his his war to conquer the Middle East. This is beyond comprehension. and beyond comprehension that we have a president who is so pathological in his mental state that he never tells the truth. He is a megalomaniac. He is psychopathic in that he doesn't care about those 170 girls. He doesn't reflect about them or about the American soldiers coming home dead. He is a what's called a malignant narcissist. The world revolves around him. He is absolutely incapable of hearing any kind of objective evidence of anything and his modus operandi is to escalate or kill more. Now the world is seeing this and step by step the world is coming to grips with something that they have not seen for 80 years. They don't know how to deal with it. There's no doubt about it. Nobody is fooled by this. There are no American allies. There are lots of countries in fear of the United States. No doubt. Uh it's true. I speak to many of these governments. They're bribed by the US or killed by the US or overthrown by the US or suborn by the US or dumped from office by the US or they have their uh exports cut off by Mr. Bessant who is himself a thug as he explained. He's the one that went out was assigned the task of destroying the Iranian economy in the past year. Something he described chillingly as economic state craft. So we're losing the words to describe this how broken our system is. This is uh really and how dangerous the situation is. Keep this up for a few weeks. We will have the mother of all economic crisis. Believe me, uh we have been through disruptions of the world energy system before. I actually judged uh ironically or whatever did my dissertation on that topic 46 years ago. That's how I got my PhD is writing about the oil shocks of the 1970s and showing how to interpret them in economic terms. I can tell you we are entering a deep crisis caused by Israel and the United States, but more precisely by two people.
>> Professor Saxs, thank you very much. Um, thank you for your analysis and your intellectual honesty. These are very, very dark times. I'm thinking of Justice Jackson's closing argument at Nuremberg. Wars of aggression are the mother of war crimes because from them come all other war crimes.
>> This is we're seeing that now. Trump and Trump and Eggs Seth. And listen, I know Pete and worked with him for 10 years at Fox. They are war criminals who in a morally healthy environment would be uh arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and not freed.
>> We've not seen this kind of naked aggression really since World War II. And even the Iraq war, which was another Israel US war of vulgarity, of criminality, even then at least it shows the change of our times. They at least faked it by going to the UN to try to get UN approval, by going to the Congress, by telling a story. Here it's naked aggression. Thank you, Professor Sax. I know it's late where you are and um I truly appreciate all the time you give us. I hope we don't need you until next week unless something >> around if if oil goes the way it seems to be heading. Let's talk again before the end. There's uh Uncle Sam or Uncle Schmool, however you want to pronounce his name in that uh visage.
>> Resistance is not futile Americans. This is our country and we cannot let rogues take it away from us.
>> Thank you, Jeff. All the all the best to you. Thank you.
>> Thanks a lot.
