Hi, first and foremost, I would like to thank UKM for this golden chance to be one of the candidates. I will be talking in both Bahasa Melayu and English in my interview video. My name is Shasha Kristina Bikirais. I live in Sri Kamang.
Language. I was a two-semester system student taking Module Two from Slangworm Matriculation College. I have graduated from SMK Taman Asminion, located in Sri Kamang and Slammer. The course I took was Pure Science stream.
During my high school days, I was actually a very active person in both curriculum and co-curriculum. Firstly, I was a school's prefect. I was chosen to be the vice president in my school. I was also the president of the STEM club, and I was very active in Cadet Police.
Why Computer Science? It is because I become so passionate and excited when it comes to coding. I really love and enjoy doing mathematics and problem-solving, especially by using computers. For me, coding is fun and interesting, so I want to train myself to become a better coder and improve my thinking skills.
Salient programming skills, lion young science, self-learning, then adaptability. Talking about self-learning, right now, while working as a part-time character in KFC, I am currently learning a new language, which is C++.
With a computer science degree, I can explore a range of specialisms depending on my career goals. Industries are looking for talented programmers include AI, computer security, government, healthcare, machine learning, and financial services. That's why I decided to become a software engineer because I want to develop software solutions that will satisfy the wants and needs of business businesses and consumers. Software engineers create many types of solutions such as desktop and web applications, mobile apps, games, robots, operating systems, and etc.
I also want to prove to our society and change the stereotype of our people that says IT courses have no future, especially the fox. We need to tell them that we are actually on the brink of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. IR 4.0.

Computer science is literally the science and theory behind how computers work in general. Computer science is a study of algorithms and computation. So basically, anything that you use in your phone, laptop, computer, or any kind of application, any software has to be created by people like coding. It's basically what is used to build this application or program or software. For example, YouTube has their own team of software engineers.
