Welcome to the program of the hearts of the holy family. I'm your host Ejac and today we have Dr. Sheila Kousmik who is going to be um giving us a beautiful um resume of the uh of the message of our our lady in Medigoria um um March 18th message and actually to go more in depth with the message because there is so so much richness and we don't want to miss out because there's a lot that it really has to entail entails the what's going on in the world right now and what Julie wants to to to so thank you much for for being part.
[clears throat] >> I apologize my dog is going >> if you could maybe just put him put him in the room is it possible >> hangs I'm sorry >> yeah it's okay it's okay yeah this is exciting Um happy feast of St. Joseph. All of you who are uh celebrating the great feast uh >> here at the hearts of the holy family. We are um really u celebrating in a in a grand way. You could see the St. Joseph in the background with our Rosa mystica and u you know this is a very special time for for me and for for the people at the hearts of the holy family. So, uh, there's Dr. Sheila's back.
[laughter] >> Thank you. >> So, now you all know that I'm human and I have a beautiful protective dog that makes a lot of noises. >> Yes. >> So, let me just begin with first of all, just so that our listeners can understand that the message that was given yesterday, which was the 18th of March, is not the usual monthly message to the world. It is a message specifically given to the eldest of the visionaries, Mariana, who our lady um who received all 10 messages very very quickly was one of the first and then after that our lady conso and saying that she would visit with her on her birthday which is March 18th each year with a message that she shares with the world. So this is that message and also I would like to add that in Mariana's autobiography that she is was wr that she wrote at the request of our lady about her life and the circumstances that are unfolding with the messages of magoria. She tells us and hints to the fact that this date March 18th is going to become very significant. We're going to realize the significant of this date once the secrets begin to unfold. So I know a lot of the magoria world and people were awaiting this message because um our lady has hinted to March 18th being a very important date in regards to future events.
So the message is this. Dear children, never forget how great is the love of God. Through that love, I am with you. Do not forget how great is his mercy. Through that mercy, I am showing you the way to true happiness and perfect peace. For that is the way to my son. Therefore, my children, with complete trust, abandon yourselves to my son, and do not be afraid. Do not be afraid of the future because it belongs entirely to the will of my son. Therefore, my children, renounce everything that distances you from my son. false happiness, false hope, false splendor. Trust my son. Tell him about your pains, your sufferings, your desires and hopes and you will feel his love and his blessing. Thank you.
Wow, what a message, huh? ees it very um >> there's so much there u you know it's a short message but there's the layers are very very u beautiful but also a warning for all of us >> you know that don't want to fall into the traps there's a lot of false out there that we need to to pay attention to and so we're going to focus on that but we're also going to focus on the the beauty of God's uh you know plan for us you know He he's giving us a plan and our lady is leading us to to her son through that.
>> You know, whenever I read her messages, I try to get a sense of is this an appeal? Is she um warning? Is she comforting? And I felt the word that I got right off the bat is she's reminding us of something that we forgot. She's reminding us. And she starts starts it right off the bat. Never forget how great is the love of God. That in its sense is something where we have to stop and pause. She wants us to think about our God and what he's done for us and what he continues to do for us and how much he is in love with his creatures to the point of sending his only begotten son who suffered and continues to suffer daily here in the blessed sacrament. He remains with us and we are still persecuting him but that love of God there is there is unfathomable mercy and depth never ending. She wants us to think about that and never forget. And then she said that's the reason I'm with you is because of the love of the father. He loves us so much that he sends his mother now to warn the world. his mother who is united with the heart of her son who continues also to suffer and intercede to mediate for her children. What a gift that we have to grasp to understand that Mary's appearances are not random. She is sent as mother to the world solely for the conversion of all of us. She wants us with her in heaven experiencing everlasting life. She also says, "Do not forget how great is the mercy of God." And right away, you know, Ees, I was thinking our great St. John Paul II, it was him who termed this phase in one of his encyclicals, I believe, on mercy where he said that mercy is love's second name. Love and mercy go hand in hand and mercy as St. Fina tells us as Jesus told her is the greatest attribute of God. And so I don't believe that this is any coincidence that our lady is hinting to the great gift of divine mercy which is God himself which is love incarnate. She's asking us now at this time at this time in um the world at this time in our lurggical season to focus on God's love and mercy. And we're soon to experience Holy Week, Easter, and then the great feast of divine mercy. And I believe that she's wanting us to spend more time in reviewing what heaven's given us through divine mercy because she says this is the only way to true happiness and perfect peace. We're in a war. We're in a war in our families and our villages and our towns in the world. And the world keeps proposing to us when we turn on the television and our channels of media. The world is proposing their peace plan which comes with division, political um you know one one sect fighting the other sect. I have the way. No, we have the way. We're right. You're wrong. That's the world's proposal. But the world's proposal is always to gain something. When Christ came into the world as the king of peace, he came on the cross to give us something.
What a contrast, right? >> What a contrast. And yet this God who continues to give of himself daily in the sacraments, in the eukarist, this pouring out of his life into us still experiences a lack of mercy from us creatures. Did we ever grasp and think that the life of God is given to us so that we can become mercy to others? This is the call. It's not about just reciting the chaplet which is beautiful or uh we have to live mercy. We have to become mercy. And mercy is a type of love that Jesus shows us that offers compassion, consolation, and is willing to give one's life for somebody that really doesn't deserve it. >> Right? Jesus came as a merciful savior knowing that we were going to reject him. But God still sent his son and Jesus still said yes. That's mercy and God is expecting the return of that mercy with us.
>> I think it's so beautiful. Um if we think about St. Fina, this great contemporary saint for our times. You know, I learned something new, Eve. I think we were sharing this a little bit ago. You know, when Jesus was giving the messages to St. Fostina on divine mercy, he asked for this special day, the first Sunday after Easter to be celebrated as the feast of divine mercy. And because he said the world needs mercy. >> Yes. And so he said, "This is what he wants. Now go tell your superiors and go tell the church." And she did. She went to her spiritual director. And her spiritual director went to the theologians of the church and they told her, "Fostina, we already have this feast day. It's already present in the church." And I'm sure she was scratching her head saying, "Jesus didn't get this wrong, did he?" She goes back to the Lord and says, "My Lord, the priests say we already have this." And you know what Jesus said to her? Yes, but they have forgotten it. >> And isn't that what our lady's saying now in this message? Never forget. We've forgotten a lot. >> Yes. Yes. to remember that it is through the passion, death, and resurrection that divine mercy is going to fulfill what God is doing in the world, which is perfecting us in love. Our Lady tells us too that there's a certain way that we have to go about this. And isn't this part of the message of divine mercy, which is trust? I want to read a few glimpses from the the the diary of St. Fostina on trust. How much Jesus wants us to trust. He actually sorrows. He's very hurtful when a soul does not trust in him with everything. Remember our lady says in this message, she said, "Therefore, my children, with complete trust, not a little bit, complete trust, abandon yourselves to my son Jesus." And do not be afraid. Here's what our Lord tells Fostina about trust. Encourage the souls with whom you come in contact to trust in my infinite mercy. Oh, how I love those souls who have complete confidence in me. I will do everything for them. We go on. Jesus says, "Why are you fearful? And why do you tremble when you are united to me?" In other words, why are you fearing? >> I am displeased when a soul yields to vain terror. Who will dare to touch you when you are with me? >> Most dear to me is the soul that strongly believes in my goodness and has complete trust in me. I heap my confidence upon it and I give it all that it asks for. I desire that the whole world know my infinite mercy. We have a job to proclaim this and live at eaves. Jesus goes on and says, I am love and mercy itself. And isn't that how our lady started this message? >> Yes. This was the the message of uh yesterday. Yes. When a soul approaches me with trust, I fill it with such abundance of grace that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls. In other words, the graces, and sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would my mercy not embrace a trusting soul. Wow. So our lady is truly echoing what our Lord gave to St. Fina. She's giving us today you know in and I mean today in yesterday but today in our world in our time she's giving us this message. Okay. >> Pay attention to what our I said to St. Fina.
>> I think that that we have to remember a few words here which is do not forget. [laughter] >> Yes. And then Jesus says to Fina, and I'll finish it with this, the graces of my mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. So my family, there is nothing even in the middle of this horrific war, which it is. Yes, >> we cannot fear if we trust and place our hope, our lives, everything, everything in the hands of God.
>> Now, that seems to be straightforward, but guess what? We are not living that way. And why do I say that, Ees? Because our lady tells us, she goes on in this message and I think this is where we really have to dissect some things a little bit. Even as Catholics that are trying to do the right thing, we can fall short and we can fall into these rabbit holes of being led and misled. Remember, Satan is very tricky at times and he likes to appear as God. He likes to entice us with which with things that can be good. But if it's pulling us away from the source and summit which is Jesus Christ and it's pulling us into a place that separates oursel from him, the commandments and what the church teaches. We have to be very careful. It's a slippery slope. What does our lady tell us here? She says, "My children, renounce." That means get rid of. That means make a change today. Do a search, an inventory in our hearts and in our lives, in the way we're living. Look at those areas where we are afraid and are fearful, especially in this time. Am I going to lose my job? Can I afford food on my table? Is the gas prices going up? Do I need gold, silver, whatever metal is selling at the fastest? All these things that the world is shouting at us to say this is what we need in order to survive.
>> Our lady's telling us differently. She's saying the things that are going to separate you are false happiness, >> false hope, and false splendor.
>> Now, let's look at that. You know, false happiness. Happiness to me is a word for the world. >> We can be happy for a day, but to be joyful, to have that virtue of joy and gift and fruit of the Holy Spirit even in the midst of trials and suffering, that's a gift from God. Mhm. >> Because the joy that the soul has is knowing that God's got this, that he's going to draw good out of whatever whatever may be happening in our lives, be it good or bad or stressful or concerning. The fact that God is with us, who can be against us, is how we need to pay attention. Once we think for one moment that we got this in our own hands and that we can navigate our own storms, we're going to be in trouble.
>> Yeah, go ahead. >> I want to say something to um the word false um gives you the impression that people will think it's it's true happiness. You know, false is uh is like you're you're grasping on something that's not true. It's just like fake news. You're you're listening to fake news and you think it's true, >> but it's false news. It's fake news. So, you can change these words to fake happiness, right? So you have somebody's trying to sell you something and he's trying to make you happy or he's trying to like for instance um uh this false splendor and I think of these words and you know um I'm not being political but there's certain things that need to be put in the in its right place I think like for instance when they when they say you know the you know America's golden age you know age of You know this that's kind of a false blunder because the only golden age is when everyone embraces mercy. Everyone embraces God's love. Everyone that loves everybody. That's the golden age. So again this splendor it sounds good. It's you know, but it's it's not what God is wanting us to do. And then I'm not making any accusation of people you know they have all kinds of slogans nowadays. uh both sides you know they they have these ideas but we have to be aware that there's there's the real deal which is Jesus on the cross giving his uh his his last breath for salvation of everybody and that includes the people that we don't like and so again this false blender this false hope and that's the the thing is like sometimes we we have this we attach ourselves to people, but they're not giving us the real deal. And so, we have to, our lady said, you know, renounce this, you know, look at the real deal. Um, and that way we will um we will have this era of peace because peace is not the absence of war. Peace is a is not this uh veneer, you know, that we're the good guys and we have peace and the bad guys we we give them hell. No, we want to give everybody heaven, right?
>> You know, um Eves, along with this, when we think of false or fake, we as Catholic Christians have to be very careful with what we're listening to, as you made mention to fake news. I don't think we can trust anything that's coming through the media. I mean, we could take an example of a country Cabo that was destroyed through propaganda through the media. Complete false lies that that basically allowed hate to enter into two tribes of people who needed to love. But what ended up happening were they were slaughtered in 90 days. It was a genocide just from false propaganda and hate. We're kind of dealing with that right now in the United States between, you know, Islamic terrorists, the Israeli um stuff that we're hearing, the United States involvement. What where does the truth lie with any of all of this? To begin to take sides and to look at this as different factions is where Satan can grab hold of us. We have to start looking at our own lives where we are today. And we have to look deep inside our hearts at those that we find most difficult to love because it's all related. And we have to ask for that grace of divine mercy to begin in our own homes and families to reconcile especially those that are different from us to begin to see Christ in them. But we can't do this unless we've totally taken a look at our own lives and renounced those things, those biases, our discriminations, our our ways of thinking where we think we're right and they're wrong. All of that is not the gospel message. The gospel message is that we are one holy apostolic church. We are called to love and bring everyone into the fold. Papa Francis was trying to do that. He was trying to bring everyone into the fold. The lost sheep, the smelly sheep, you know, the sheep that are caught up in ideologies that are wicked. They're all important to God. Every single soul. And our job is to pray that way, to pray for them, to ask God for that love in our hearts to want the best and to will the best for them. And then to do acts of mercy. If we're going to preach this, we have to become mercy and do acts of mercy to show mercy. We not just reciting prayers. Our lives have to become mercy to others. We have to die to ourselves again. We might have to take the silence at our dinner tables because we want to jump in and be right. We might have to do some extreme changes in our own disposition in order to love, in order to see Christ and others, right? We have to be careful what we're hearing even in the Catholic world. There are so many false prophets in the world. And I hate to say this, Ees, what I love about Magigoria, and I always have, and this has been my call, is it's the same gospel message. It's the message of the cross. It's the message of crucified love. It's the message of hope. It's the message of belonging. We're all our lady's children. There's no division. But it's Mary's school of love at the foot of the cross >> because that's where we're going. That's where the world is going.
>> I use these words. I don't mean to be harsh because they're beautiful. But the church is going through its passion. It's going through its purification because we need it. Justice is another form of love and mercy. And we're not to fear that. In some of the writings of Louisa Picoretta, the little daughter of the divine will, Jesus tells Louisa, that sometimes the chastisement is needed to save the majority of souls. God's looking at eternal salvation. We simply live in temporal time day by day. God sees the whole p picture and he doesn't want one soul lost. But sometimes like little children, we need to be shaken and awakened as our lady's been telling us. We have to become more attentive. We can't get caught up in the traps. I think some of our our Catholic brothers and sisters can get so caught up in different messages that they become doom and gloom and fearstricken and oh my goodness fire is going to fall and I need to get my gold and how am I going to live and if I don't have this in my house or this is not God. Our Lady tells us she is our refuge. Her immaculate heart is our refuge. her son's sacred heart. This is why we've been consecrating ourselves. We've been giving our lives over to Christ. This is the gospel message. If he's our father, if Jesus God is our brother and Mary's our mother, my goodness, my family, we need to wake up. God is with us. He's got us. He's leading us. Now, does this mean that we're not going to entail some difficulties along the path? Of course, we will. We're going to walk the via delar roa with Christ, with joy in knowing that the church might be gets getting smaller and more purified, but the light of Christ is going to grow. Souls will be saved. There will be a great harvest. This is the new springtime. This is the great outpouring of divine mercy that we've been talking about. But do we hear it that way? Or are we sitting there biting our fingernails saying, "Is it tomorrow? Is it the next day? What's going to happen? Am I going?" That's fear. That's terror. And God is a God of love and mercy. Everything is his permitting will. Our Lady tells us here, right? Do not be afraid of the future because it belongs entirely to the will of my son. I have people say, "Yeah, but look at what we've done. Look at what we do." You know, God is not a puppet player up there. He's He doesn't go to plan B, C, D. He sees the whole picture. He's the great architect. He knows how to bring the good out. No matter what we do as as miserable creatures, he wins. He's winning.
>> I do. You know what you're saying is so true. And you know, there's a a lot of people that are listening. Maybe maybe this will be helpful for you. You are on a mission uh to bring everyone to heaven. Everyone has a mission to bring everyone to heaven. And this is what our lady is calling us. She's asking us to trust her. But we have to trust that we do the right thing so that we become the missionaries that God wants us to be. And I uh was thinking just a just as a testimony. There's a a couple that was behind me at a at a healing service and they they found what the you know the the priest was saying funny in a kind of like a mocking way maybe you know they were like chuckling in the background and I was thoroughly annoyed. I was really and I was I really if I was a you know in in other times when my my heart was in a different place I would have like turned around and told them off but instead I I started praying for them. I started having mercy for them. I prayed for them and then the the Lord told me um in my heart u give him a give them a scapular of the of St. Joseph. So I had a couple scapulas of St. Joseph and I turned around and I gave it to them and they were like uh they had received this great gift you know and it it calmed them down. So again, you know, my mercy for them and then at the end of the the session, I I talked to them and you know, when the priest prayed over them, they had like an experience. You well, you know, Father Justin, you you had met them from the apostles of um of the of the two hearts. They you know, they do an amazing apostle with the tilma of uh the blessed mother. And uh so I I got to speak to them very very briefly afterwards and it she was like a a changed person. She had gone to confession and she said she hadn't gone to confession since she was a child. So she was probably in her mid30s maybe even close to 40 years old. And then she wanted to come back. So she's been back three times to three different sessions because God touched her. And so >> I could have told turned around and you know raise havoc and and that's what we do there. There's a kind of like an unholy righteousness that people might have as saying these people are annoying. They're annoying the whole congregation and I'm going to tell them off. Or I could say Lord you know I have uh I have mercy on them. And uh I think this is what our lady's asking us. have mercy on these people or people around us that um you know that they might you know have a different flag than you or you're they're they're not there yet but your prayers are powerful you know for to change their hearts. So, um, this is a great mission, right?
>> Well, I think it's a serious call and I think we have to pay attention to this message in light of what we're coming into, especially in the conflicts with the world. And I want to say something to our fellow Catholic listeners because the temptation to want to divide in the church is so paramount right now. We know that we have camps where we like the pope, we don't like the pope, we don't like what he's doing. Is this the false pope? Is this, you know, these are the rabbit holes that Satan speaks in our ears because we want it the way we want it, which is usually a a plan of intense consolation. We're not used to our lives being disrupted, especially here in America. We have not been challenged, at least my generation, with what other countries have had to go through and what some of them are going through right now. to be completely without, to have no shelter, to have no food, and to think as I'm sitting here speaking that this cannot happen here in the United States would be so foolish to place all of our hopes in a president, in a cabinet. Um, we pray for our pope. He's the leader of the church, but we don't want to fractionate and leave the solid boat that we're in because God works through the papacy. And yet there's some temptation amongst our Catholic friends that you know this pope may not be the real pope or that pope. And this is again what our ladies hinting to you know these false deceptions. And again, most of it is being propagated through the media. If Satan wants to get anything to our heads, he wants us to believe in error that could cause somebody to think very ill about the church itself. And so we run into um a great temptation to leave the church and go elsewhere. And we know that that is a great heresy. That's a great great great era. But there's temptations. We see beautiful bishops maybe being cancelled. We see bishop against bishop. Everything that's been prophesized. But yet, why? There is one holy, Catholic, and apostolic church. There's not a different church. And if we are going to live in fear over every little thing that begins to happen and what we're hearing and our focus is not on Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and present in the eukarist here with us, my family. The King of Kings is with us. >> Yes, >> he's with us. And I want Catholics to wake up. Every time you go by that church, the King of Kings sits in that tabernacle >> waiting for you, for me. He weeps. He's lonely. He wants company. Our Lady says, "Trust my son. Tell him about your pains. Go visit him. Talk to him. He desires conversation with you. He desires a relationship with you." And then you will feel his love. Eves, can you believe that in our country in a few months, we will be having again a Eucharistic revival with the processions of Jesus living the living hosts processing through the streets in our country again. A great grace that's about to be embarked on in the United States. And yet we hear some Christian politicians saying that we Catholics and anyone that believes in this kind of stuff in processions, we're committing idolatry if we have blessed mother statues or if we have the real presence of Jesus. There's an attack going on in this. Satan's going to try and and really take hold of this. We Catholics have to raise up and we got to march and walk with Jesus in our streets and show the world that he's alive. He's a healer. He's a lover. And he's the answer. He's the truth. He's the way. And blessed are we Catholics that know that and reverence that and fight for that. There's a call for us all to become little Tarsisses, right? St. Tarissius who totally cherished. He He was murdered for bringing Jesus, carrying Jesus on himself. Well, guess what? When we receive Jesus every day, he's in us. Are we carrying him to those that we love or those that we don't like? Are we bringing Jesus? Are we being St. Tarsissius's to the world? Well, I want everyone that's listening to get excited about Eucharistic adoration even more. I want chapels filled. We got to show the world that divine mercy is alive. He's a person. And we have to show our Protestant brothers and sisters what it is that we proclaim as Catholics. the body, blood, soul and divinity, divine mercy. Christ suffering with us, still with us, consoling us, leading us where where home with him for all eternity.
>> Yeah, there's a I mean, it's truly um important um because this is kind of like the false hopes. We uh we said we're all banding together. The Christians, the evangelicals, we're all, you know, on the same page. And then this comes out that they want to they want to legislate a laws to ban eucharistic processions because that's in their minds um um idolatry. And uh so this is a a type of antichrist because if you deny Jesus Christ in the flesh then you are according to St. John in the in the epistles you are antichrist >> right >> so you uh so when we think of the enemies of the church it's you know you have in many many heads but one one the dragon has many heads you have communism you have Islam you have this but there's also the those who deny Christ in the flesh which are are these evangelical Christians that um that deny Jesus in the flesh which is a a a great blasphemy because that's part of the reparation our ladies asked >> is to ask for reparations against the sins of the blessed sacrament. So when you it's a type of blasphemy to to go against Jesus in the Eucharist. You are actually u you you're claiming so this false happiness this false hope but without Christ which which would be considered antichrist. So we >> you know we've we've had moments of recent after 911 and after COVID especially after COVID when our churches were locked down. I mean, talk about fake news as Catholics when we shut our our churches down because we believed that a little germ was was greater and bigger than the Eucharist. I mean, I still scratched my head. I weep during those times because I think the majority of people knew that they were starving from Christ. They were starving. They weren't being fed. And I think most people felt and sensed that something wasn't right with these decisions. And we were tested and I think we flunked as a church. But God in his great mercy allowed the churches to be opened again. My question and I weep. Why aren't the adoration chapels filled every day? Did we learn? Are we really consistent in what we believe? Do we sacrifice our time? Every time we drive by a Catholic church, are we attentive? Do we think of our Lord there in that tabernacle alone, thirsting for souls? This is what our lady's asking. Not only reverence, but zeal for the eukarist, zeal for Christ. This is where we're going. And eaves, we know that we're going to be challenged again. Humanity will be challenged. Have we learned our lesson? I don't know because our lady started off her message with never forget. Never forget that no matter what we do to Jesus, he never leaves. He stays and remains because he is mercy. And so my family, we need to pray that we become mercy for Christ.
How many of us console Jesus? How many of us just kind of take a little time out instead of thinking about what we want from Jesus with our list? How many can curl up next to him and say, "I love you, my Lord. I'm so sorry, my Lord. I make reparation for my family who doesn't love you. They don't know you. But I love you, and I will love you on their behalf, my Lord. I make reparation for what you see in the world." Jesus, see my love. Sometimes when I pray, I think of myself, Ees, as a shield in front of the Lord. Like I'm shielding him from seeing any more that can hurt him. And he loves that prayer. You know why? Because it's all I can give him is my life. I can only give him my sacrifice of myself to stand in front of those that are hurting him, to shield his beautiful eyes, to block his ears, to caress his lips, to kiss him with a kiss that makes reparation for the blaspheming kiss of Judas's. That's the prayer that he wants. That's what our lady's telling us. have that relationship with Jesus because we feel his love. We will feel his blessing. And then my family, here's the exciting part. We become Christ. We become Christ. Christ in us. It is no longer we who live but Christ in us. Now we can carry him to the world and we become his eyes, his ears, his tongue, his hands of healing. We walk in his ways. to do what? To bring him to the souls that would be lost. It's such a beautiful, it's a reciprocal relationship, but God does even more on his side for us than we can do for him. That's the beauty of divine mercy. You know, in this beautiful image, and as I was reading this message, in this beautiful image of divine mercy, you know, for those of you that may have studied it, Jesus is walking towards us in this image as he's painted. It's as if he's coming and walking towards us. He has his hand held in a position of blessing. And then he's pointing to his heart, that sacred heart that has endured so much. The lance that went through in the last drops of blood and water, the sacraments, he's pouring out his life through the sacraments. Every single day, every time we go to confession, we become more divine. Every time we go to communion, we become more divine. We enter into more into the divine life of Jesus, my family. This is unheard of in any other religion. And it is not because we're worthy. It's because God makes us worthy. So let's look and review what Fostina has brought to us through Christ about devotion and becoming divine mercy for the world. We need to prepare now for the beautiful feast. We need to pray daily our chaplet of divine mercy preferably if we can at the 3:00 hour. But Jesus says to pray it unceasingly. The grace upon grace and for to pray for the conversion of sinners for the dying that hour that three o'clock hour is the power hour because that prayer is an extension of the mass where Christ is offered to the father and we are offering the father Jesus in that beautiful prayer the image have this image in your home Jesus there's so many promises that Jesus has made throughina when we venerate the image Jesus gives us more grace to become divine mercy. the chaplet, the novena of divine mercy which begins on Good Friday that Jesus brings to us different souls, different I call it departments of souls, children, the church, those that don't believe, those that do believe where we're praying for all of humanity over nine days from Good Friday until Easter, the Divine Mercy novena coming up soon. And then to prepare ourselves for divine mercy Sunday where our souls can be washed clean like in baptism and the re requirements are so minimal. Confession and communion is all Christ asks from our heart sincere to receive the great outpouring of divine mercy. And then we must practice mercy. We must ask for mercy. We must become mercy and love and mercy to our neighbors either through work, deed, prayer. And then we have to trust, trust, trust, trust. We put our trust only in God, not the world. And then watch out how our lives will begin to unfold and many souls will be saved.
So Eves, you know, I was thinking of um this beautiful prayer maybe to close with and it's something that I pray every day in the divine mercy hour and it's a prayer that was given to St. Fostina. Um and I think it incorporates everything that our lady was telling us today. >> Yes. Yes, please. >> So in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit. Amen. Oh God, in whose mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your most holy will, which is love and mercy itself. Amen. >> Amen. >> Jesus, we trust in you. >> Amen. Amen.
Well, thank you so much again um Dr. Sheila. This is a truly important work. Our ladies as a mother, she's uh reminding us of things that are important and also warning us of the pitfalls of those the the the glitter and glamour of the world and giving us these false illusions. But they is always it always entails the cross and it and it it entails the love of God and the and the love of neighbor. If there if those two are missing uh then then beware you know we need to beware of these false false teachings and um you know I say to people just love everyone. One of the I would say just to maybe to to end with that as well is u if there's someone that annoys you, there's somebody that bothers you even in the news and you think unkindly of them. Um those are the ones that you need to to call on on the Lord for mercy for them because then you you are truly an apostle of mercy. you know, we can't we can't say that often enough. Pray. You don't have to to to go and talk to them. Sometimes it's in your heart. And if God puts you in their path again, maybe you could be praying, you know, talk to them. But we have to have this openness like Jesus did. You know, he he talked to people that the Pharisees didn't want to talk to. you know, he healed the lepers. He went to them and no one else wanted to touch them. So you think of the lepers in your life and you know um be mercy be God's love for them.
