This is like a farmhouse office complex. Um, and the guy rang me and said all their skylights really really dirty. They want a really thorough clean. So, look how bad these are. See the lyken growing all up them really stubborn to get get rid of it. Especially just the water pole. There's several like that. There's one here. Look at this. Nasty. All these really green. There's several the other side of this roof as well. Just thought I'd show you on this pitch where I'm able to walk along. And there's a couple there.
What I'm actually going to use is some TFR, traffic film remover. Now, you always have to be really careful with TFR because it's actually caustic. It's actually abrasive. So, I only use it in situations similar to this where you want to use kind of this is kind of worst case scenario. You want to use the strongest kind of cleaning solution you can. So, I'll mix a bit of that up in the gardener backpack, just a backpack sprayer. And then I can put my waterfed pole attached to that. Spray on a bit of the cleaning solution. Leave that for just a few minutes. You don't want to leave it too long.
And then I'm going to use a scraper on this. Um, just had a look in the van. I haven't got my big heavy duty like Ninja Scraper is probably a good idea. You can put that on the end of a pole. But what I did find is I've got a Trim 10. It's a little Trim 10. A little handy little tip for you. You can actually take it apart and stick it on an errate handle. Fits on there. I prefer to use it on a zero degree handle. It fits nicely. And then uh you can give them a bit of scrape. So that squeegee handle go a pole. So you can reach up and give it a scrape from the ground. Or on these we're able to walk. We can actually walk up and do it by hand. Um, but either way, you can use that sc uh scraper blade then on a handle. So, that's really good.
So, then once we've done that, we're going to just wash them with pure water as normal and they'll come up really nice and clean. So, when you're using uh when you're using a blade like this, it's good just to go in one direction. Just you don't want to be scraping up and down cuz that's can lead to scratches on the glass. We're literally just go just going to go up in one direction. And then get these bits at the bottom. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Want to hold. Heat. Heat. Oh, hey. Hey, hey, hey. Don't want to. Don't want to hold back. Don't want to hold back. There we go. Look at that. They've turned out really well. TFR really gets them nice and clean. You just want to be careful. Make sure you rinse away the chemical really well with pure water, of course, and then you'll get a nice spotless finish. You don't want to leave any residue of the chemical behind. But yeah, nice one. Turned out really good. Another good job done.
