Uh, certainly curious points in the game, offensive rebounding again. Never a problem. Were you trying to do that, sort of go between C and B and Yuta at different times to sort of neutralize K?
At yeah, that we we were trying to to definitely try to match up the right way with with K to to have more rebounding there and and you know, try to keep match ups. You know, he he was really helpful today. He did really good job of with rebounding, but also I thought that K did really good job of play making today as well.
The um you between Scotty, BI, and RJ, not their typical production. Where does that lie? Is that on them to find better opportunities or execute [snorts] better or?
Uh, to be honest with you, I thought that we were getting good shots. I thought I thought that the we got a lot of it at the rim. You know, in the paint we were shooting 29 from 53. You know, they got to the paint pretty much the same number of times, but they made 38 shots there. I thought that we just missed missed some layups. You know, unfortunately layups there.
In the fourth quarter, Darko, is it a matter of like the exhaustion trying to cover a team like that and then trying to execute? Like what what maybe shifted there? You were right there as one of the.
And it was it was tied game starting the the fourth quarter there. You know, I thought that their you know, their best players they made plays they needed. Was that in isolation in one on one? Was that knocking down knocking down some shots? I thought overall we did really good job guarding the three-point line. And at the end there it was just their drives to the rim and us not doing good enough job of containing those drives.
And how big of an asset is it to have a guy like Jacob Walter really like rise to the occasion in a intense like this? He's really expanded [snorts] what he can do.
I love it. Like Jacob is the guy that he's a two-way player. He does a lot for us. Those opportunities that he has to start over here are showing us a lot what he's capable of and obviously all the work that he's putting in knocking down those shots. For a young player it's it's it's awesome to see him that he is doing really good in those situations.
C and B again getting it over offensively. Just kind of more of the same with his energy maybe a little more comfortable with his hand.
Yeah, I thought that that he did a very good job there for the most of the part of the game. You know, we put a lot on him. He's guarding some fives. A lot of times he's switching ends up guarding point guards. You know, he's still coming back and finding the rhythm flow from that that injury. But overall I thought that he gave us really good tool there offensively as well in his roles and finishes around the rim.
The A team like Boston, like do you feel like there is enough there in the team times you've met them that you couldn't you know, close the gap? Like there's enough uh sort of things that you haven't tapped into that you could be competitive with?
Yeah, absolutely. I think every game is is an opportunity for us to learn something. We we tried some different things tonight as well over the course of the game. When we had good execution it looked good. It was just like how we how do we get more of those possessions? And it was was just like a couple of situations, some lucky that that that you know, we are two on one in pick and roll, you know, we don't catch the ball, we don't we don't finish there. It's just like small things that led to easy points on the other side. You know, so and they they did good job as experienced team. They deal for any small window of opportunity that you give them they're going to take advantage of that. You know, that team is is really really good team. But I think every time when we played them we're we're finding ways to close that gap. Okay.
