Tetelestai: The Legal Verdict Satan Hopes You Never Understand | E.W. Kenyon Sermon

Discovering Kenyon39:58

Transcription

Jesus did not say it is finished as a dying gasp. He did not whisper it through cracked lips as a man defeated and spent. He declared it. He announced it with the full weight of divine authority behind every syllable.

And when you understand what those three words actually mean in the original language, when you grasp [music] the legal and covenantal weight they carry in the courts of heaven, you will never again approach your sickness, your debt, your broken marriage, or your battle with a beggar's prayer. You will walk up to that mountain, and you will speak to it as an heir who already holds the title deed.

Here is the judicial authority behind those three words. And this teaching may be the one that changes everything for you. This is the Kenyon tradition. This is revelation knowledge. And if you stay with me for the next 20 to 25 minutes, I am going to show you from the word of God why your confession has more legal force than you have ever imagined. Why the enemy has been terrified of this one declaration since the moment it was uttered on Golgtha and how you can begin today to use it as the weapon it was always meant to be. Because for too long the church has had the verdict in its hands and has been treating it like a wish list. We are going to end that today.

Stop right there. Before we go any further, ask yourself an honest question. Why are you still fighting the same battle you were fighting 3 years ago? Why does the sickness keep returning? Why does the debt keep mounting even when you pray? Even when you fast? Even when you stand in the prayer line and believe with everything you have, why does the fear come back in the night? Why does the addiction resurface? Why does the depression settle back in like an old tenant who never really left? Something is wrong. And the problem is not with God. The problem is not with the covenant. The problem is not even with your faith. The problem is with what you believe about what has already been done.

Here is the diagnosis. And I'm going to say it plainly because I love you too much to be vague. You have been taught to come to God as a beggar. You have been taught to approach the throne with your hat in your hand, eyes downcast, voice trembling, saying, "Lord, if it be your will." You have been taught that healing might come and it might not. You have been taught that God sometimes says yes and sometimes says no and that your job is simply to accept whatever he decides. You have been told that suffering is a gift, that sickness builds character, that poverty is a blessing in disguise, and that the truly humble Christian does not make demands of the Almighty. You have been told to praise God in the storm and then stay in the storm indefinitely as though the storm itself is somehow the blessing rather than the covenant authority that can speak to it and silence it. You have quoted Job in the affliction and forgotten that Job's end was greater than his beginning. [music] You have quoted Paul's thorn and forgotten that the grace given for the thorn was not passive endurance but divine sufficiency.

You have been handed a partial gospel. A gospel of the cross without the resurrection. A gospel of surrender without authority. A gospel of suffering without the covenant rights purchased by that suffering and with the best of intentions. Sincere men and women of God have handed you a theology that strips you of every covenant right you were purchased to possess. They call it humility. But I want to tell you today from the word of God that it is not humility. It is ignorance dressed in religious clothing. And ignorance is expensive. It costs you your healing. It costs you your peace. It costs you the victory that was purchased at a price you cannot begin to calculate.

The religious mind says that claiming your covenant rights is presumption. The tradition of men says that boldness before God is arrogance. But the word of God says something entirely different. Hebrews 4:16 declares, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." The word translated boldly in the Greek is parisia. It means freedom of speech. It means outspokenenness. It means confidence so complete that you conceal nothing and hold nothing back. That is not the posture of a beggar. That is the posture of a son. That is the posture of a daughter who knows whose blood flows in her veins and whose name she carries and whose covenant she stands in. You have been standing at the door of your inheritance. Knocking timidly when the door has been opened for 2,000 years. You have been begging for bread that is already on the table. You have been pleading for access to a room whose key was placed in your hand the moment you were born again. And today that changes because today you are going to encounter not just information but revelation and revelation. True revelation knowledge transforms the way you stand, the way you speak and the way you enforce the will of God in your life.

Now hear this and let it settle deep. When Jesus cried out from the cross, it is finished. He used a single word in the Greek, tetelesti. Say that word with me. Tetelesti. That one word contained more legal force than any document ever signed by any king on any throne in the history of human civilization. Tetelesti was not a word invented for religious ceremony. It was a word used every single day in the commercial and legal world of first century culture. When a merchant completed a transaction, when a debt had been paid in full, when an obligation had been completely discharged, the creditor would stamp the papyrus record with this word, paid in full. The debt no longer exists. The claim against the debtor is dissolved. The legal obligation is terminated. Nothing more owed, nothing more required.

But that is only the beginning of what this word means. In the Roman legal system, when a prisoner had served his full sentence and walked out of the prison, his record was stamped with this same declaration. The sentence is finished. The penalty has been carried out in full. The law has no further claim on this man. The prisoner is free not because someone took pity on him and looked the other way. He is free because justice itself has been fully completely irreversibly satisfied.

When Jesus cried tetelesti from that cross, he was not expressing resignation. He was not giving up. He was filing a legal brief in the courts of heaven. He was stamping the record of every sin, every sickness, every curse, every demonic claim against your life with the verdict of divine justice paid in full penalty carried out to the last measure. The law has no further claim on this man. The law has no further claim on this woman. The sentence against your body is finished. The decree of poverty over your family line is finished. The assignment of condemnation over your mind is finished.

The prophet Isaiah saw this 800 years before it happened. 800 years before the cross, God pulled back the curtain of time and showed his prophet a vision that would not be fully understood until Calvary. In Isaiah 53 verse 4 and 5, he wrote, "Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon him. And by his stripes we are healed." Now the theology of tradition wants you to read that passage as metaphor, as poetry, as a vague spiritual sentiment about forgiveness. But the word is more precise than that. The word translated griefs in the Hebrew is choli. It does not mean guilt in the general sense. It does not mean spiritual burden. Choli means sickness. It means physical disease. It means bodily ailment. He did not carry a vague emotional weight. He carried your specific cancer diagnosis. He carried the anxiety that wakes you at 3:00 in the morning. He carried the inflammation in your joints and the shadow on your lung and the chronic pain in your lower back. He bore it in his own body. He absorbed it into his own flesh. He took it so completely that it has no remaining legal right to exist in yours.

And Matthew writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit confirms this in chapter 8:17 when he quotes Isaiah and applies it not to forgiveness but to physical healing that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying he himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Physical infirmities, physical sicknesses, taken, born, past tense, finished. This is not poetry. This is a legal transaction recorded in the eternal word of God. He took it. Therefore, it is finished. The claim against your body has been discharged in full. And when you declare, it is finished over your sickness. You are not hoping something might happen somewhere in the future. You are announcing what has already been decided in a court whose judgments are final and whose record cannot be altered.

Now let me give you a picture that will nail this into your spirit so firmly that sense knowledge can never dislodge it. Imagine a courtroom, not an earthly courtroom with its limitations and its politics and its corruption and its appeals processes. Imagine the court of heaven where the judge is God Almighty himself. where the law is the eternal and inviable word and where every judgment rendered is final irreversibly and immediately enforcable. In this courtroom, there is a case against you. The accuser has filed his brief. The Bible calls him the accuser of the brethren in Revelation 12:10. And it says he accuses them before God day and night. He has brought forward exhibit after exhibit. Here is the diagnosis the doctor gave you in November. Here is the overdue notice from last month. Here is the history of the broken relationship. Here is the pattern of the addiction returning. Here is the family line of poverty that stretches back three generations. Here is the record of every failure, every compromise, every moment of weakness. And the enemy is confident because in the natural realm the evidence supports his claim.

But then the advocate rises. First John 2:1 says, "If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ, the righteous." The word advocate in the Greek is paricletos. It means one called alongside to help to intercede to stand in your defense. And when Jesus the advocate rises in the courts of heaven and speaks on your behalf, he does not argue emotion. He does not appeal to the judge's sympathy. He does not say, "Give this person another chance. They mean well." He presents the blood. He presents the finished record. He holds up the covenant purchased at Calvary and he declares, "It is finished. The verdict has already been rendered. My client is not subject to the sickness the accuser is presenting." Because the penalty for that sickness was paid in my body on the 14th of Nissan. My client is not bound by the poverty the accuser is citing because the curse of the law was completely absorbed in my substitutionary death on Golgatha. The court has no standing to hold against this man what has already been discharged. The court has no basis to execute against this woman what the blood of the covenant has already satisfied.

And the judge of all the earth who cannot lie and cannot violate his own eternal word pounds the gavel. Case dismissed. The verdict stands. Not because God decided to be merciful in a vague and unpredictable way. Because justice itself was fully satisfied at Calvary. The penalty was paid. The debt was discharged. The certificate of debt was nailed to the cross. And the judge who is righteous and just cannot re-sentence a man for a crime whose penalty has already been fully served by another. That is not theology. That is the eternal law of divine justice and it operates in your favor every single time you invoke it on the basis of the blood.

Let that land in your spirit. The judge of all the earth is not your reluctant benefactor. He is the same God who established the law and is bound by the righteousness of his own nature to honor the verdict of Calvary. When Jesus stands as your advocate, he is not persuading an unwilling judge. He is presenting the evidence of a satisfied law to a righteous God who is more eager to see you walk free than you are to walk free. The covenant was his idea. The blood was his provision. The verdict was his declaration. and he will not reverse it.

Now you must understand what this means for you the moment you walk out of that courtroom and back into the middle of daily life. The enemy knows the verdict. He was there when the gavel fell. He read the transcript. He heard the advocate's brief. But here is what he is counting on every single day. He is counting on your ignorance of the verdict. He is betting that you do not know the case is already closed. He is betting that you will keep responding to his accusations as though the matter is still being deliberated, as though the judge has not yet decided. As though you are still standing before the court in a posture of guilt and uncertainty. And as long as you live as a defendant, as long as you approach prayer as a plea bargain and approach God as someone whose verdict is still in question, you will never walk in the freedom of an acquitted heir. You will live in the hallway when you have been given the entire estate.

You are not a defendant anymore. The trial is over. The verdict is in. And your job, hear this carefully. Your job is not to relitigate the case every time symptoms appear. Your job is not to beg the judge to reconsider. Your job is to enforce the verdict that has already been rendered.

This is what Paul understood when he wrote in Galatians 3:13, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." The word redeemed in the Greek is exagoro. It means to buy out of the marketplace entirely. To purchase completely and remove from sale, you are not still on the auction block. You are not still available for the enemy's purchase. You have been bought out, completely removed, transferred out of the domain of darkness and placed into the kingdom of the son of God beyond the reach of the curse. When sickness comes knocking on your door, it is not a new trial reopened by the judge. It is a trespasser on purchased property. And a trespasser does not have the right to remain simply because he is knocking loudly.

Consider also what Paul is saying in Colossians 2:14 and 15. He writes that God has wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us which was contrary to us and he has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross having disarmed principalities and powers. He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. The handwriting of requirements in the Greek is cheirographon. It was the technical term for a certificate of debt. A document in the debtor's own handwriting signed by the borrower acknowledging the debt and binding him to its terms. Paul says that document existed against you, not a vague spiritual document, a specific legal instrument [music] that gave the enemy a basis for his claims. And God took that document. Every charge against you, every legal ground the enemy had to afflict and oppress. And he nailed it to the cross of Calvary, he canceled it in the body of Jesus. He disarmed the principalities by removing the legal instrument that gave them standing to operate in your life. This means that when the enemy afflicts your body or attacks your finances or wages war against your mind, he is operating as a disarmed opponent still trying to enforce a debt that has been publicly canceled. He has the form of authority, but none of the substance. He is like an officer trying to arrest you on a warrant that has been officially revoked. The warrant no longer has force. The document has been nailed to the cross. And when you know your legal standing, you do not submit to the arrest. You present the evidence of the cancellation. You say that document no longer has legal standing. It was nailed to the cross.

Hear this also. When Paul wrote in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." The word condemnation is the Greek word katakma. It does not merely mean guilt, feelings, or emotional shame or a vague sense that you have disappointed God. Katakma means the sentence, the legal penalty, the enforcable judgment rendered by the court. There is no enforcable judgment against you. There is no outstanding penalty. There is no legal basis on which the enemy can execute his claim against your body, your mind, your family, or your financial life. The sentence is served. The debt is paid. The record has been cleared by the blood of the new covenant.

So why are so many believers still sick? Why are so many born again, spiritfilled, Bible believing, prayer praying children of God still walking in defeat in these areas? Why are so many still bound by the fear that never quite leaves by the symptoms that keep coming back? By the financial pressure that does not lift. And I say this not to condemn, but to diagnose. Because diagnosis always precedes recovery. They know about the verdict, but they have never learned to declare it. They have mental assent to the truth. They have doctrinal agreement with the finished work, but they have never activated it with their voice.

And this is the revelation that changes everything. The revelation that E.W. Kenyon gave his life to establish in the body of Christ. Voice activated authority is not a motivational phrase. It is a spiritual law woven into the very fabric of creation. God did not think the world into existence. He spoke it. God said, "Let there be light." And there was light. He did not generate a feeling of lightness. He spoke and the word carried the creative force of his nature and reality rearranged itself around his declaration. Jesus stood at the tomb of Lazarus, 4 days dead, physically decomposing by the natural report. And he did not merely feel compassion. He spoke. He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth." And the dead man obeyed the word. He stood at the bow of a boat in the middle of a storm that was about to kill 12 men. And he did not quietly believe that peace would come. He spoke, "Peace, be still." And the wind and the sea obeyed the voice of the covenant son.

The pattern in scripture is never silence in the face of the enemy. The pattern is never passive, waiting for circumstances to improve on their own. The pattern is always the spoken word aligned with the will and the word of God, carrying the weight of the covenant behind it, and reality bends to accommodate it. Romans 4:17 tells you that God calls those things which do not exist as though they did. And if you are in Christ, you are a child of the most high God. You carry the recreated spirit, the hidden man of the heart, the Zoey life of the eternal son of God dwelling within you. First John 4:4 says that he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Your voice aligned with the word is a legal instrument in the court of heaven. When you open your mouth and declare it is finished over this sickness, you are not engaging in wishful thinking. You are not pretending the symptom does not exist. You are filing an enforcement motion in the highest court in the universe, citing the verdict that was already rendered, demanding that the trespasser vacate the premises that belong to the covenant heir.

So here is exactly what you do and I need you to stay with me here because this is the place where most teaching stops too early. This is the practical territory where revelation becomes reality. Where what you have heard in your spirit becomes what you live in your body and your home and your bank account.

The first thing you do is establish the verdict in your mind before you ever open your mouth. This is what Kenyon called the building of the inner image. Before you speak to your mountain, you must see your situation from the perspective of what is already finished. That means you go to the word and you stay there until the word is more real to you than the symptom. You read Isaiah 53 every day for a week. You read 1 Peter 2:24 where Peter looking back at the cross says, "By his stripes you were healed." Notice the tense. Not you will be healed if you believe hard enough. Not you might be healed if it is the will of God. You were healed. Past tense accomplished fact done at Calvary before you were born. Secured by the blood of the new covenant recorded in the eternal word of God and made available to you the moment you stepped into covenant. You meditate on that past tense verb until it is more solid in your spirit than any present tense symptom. You let the word build the inner image of yourself as already healed, already free, already provided for, already complete in him. Kenyon wrote that the measure of your faith is the measure of your inner image. And the inner image is built by the word alone, not by testimony services, though those are valuable, not by feeling the presence of God in worship, though that is precious. The inner image that holds under pressure is built by the word of God dwelling richly in you. Settling into your spirit consciousness until you know the verdict the way you know your own name with a certainty that requires no external confirmation. This is not positive thinking. This is covenant thinking. This is the renewing of the mind that Paul commands in Romans 12:2 where he says be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The word transformed is metamorphou in the Greek. The word from which we get metamorphosis. You are not being decorated. You are being structurally changed at the level of your thinking. And that transformation produces a different outward reality.

The second thing you do once the inner image is established is open your mouth and make the declaration out loud, not in your head, not as a silent thought, out loud with your physical voice. Because your voice is not merely biological sound. Your voice carries the authority of the covenant name of Jesus. When you speak in alignment with the word, the enemy cannot hear your internal thoughts, but he can hear your confession. And he must respond to the authority in the name of Jesus spoken from the mouth of a covenant heir. Speak this. Say it right now if you are able. "It is finished. The price for my complete healing was paid at Calvary by the body and the blood of Jesus Christ. By his stripes, I was healed and I remain healed by the integrity of God's word. The sentence of sickness over my body has been served in full. The debt has been discharged. There is no remaining legal standing for this condition in this body that belongs to the living God. I am the purchased possession of the most high and I enforce this verdict over my body and my life right now in the name of Jesus." That is not begging. That is enforcing. that is an heir reading the terms of the estate to a trespasser and requiring demanding insisting on the basis of the blood that they vacate immediately.

The third thing you do is guard your confession from that moment forward. Because here is where most believers lose the ground they just gained in prayer. They declare the word with power in their quiet time and then they spend the rest of the day describing their symptoms to every person they encounter. They call their friend and spend 45 minutes rehearsing how sick they feel and how scared they are and how the doctor said it could be serious. And every time they describe the symptoms, every time they give the problem a detailed oral history, they are using their voice activated authority against themselves. They are reopening the case the judge already closed. They are filing a new brief on behalf of the accuser and doing it with their own mouth. Stop telling everyone how sick you are. Stop narrating the problem in such exhaustive detail. That does not mean you lie. It means you choose what gets your words. Speak to the mountain. Do not hand the mountain a microphone and let it speak for itself.

Now, I want to speak to the resistance because if I leave this section out, I am not being honest with you. And the Kenyon tradition is not built on false comfort. It is built on truth. the whole truth, including the truth that standing in covenant authority is a fight. Not a fight against God, not a fight against the verdict, but a fight against the habitual patterns of sense knowledge thinking that have been in place for decades, and a fight against the accuser who will not retreat without a contest. The moment you begin to live like this, the moment you begin to enforce the verdict instead of relitigating the case, you will face resistance and it will not always feel like obvious spiritual warfare. Sometimes it will feel like common sense pushing back. The symptoms will intensify for a season after you make the declaration and your own mind will tell you that this is evidence the truth is not working. Your body will scream louder than it did before. The bank statement will arrive and it will look worse, not better. And the enemy will use that gap between the declaration and the visible manifestation to whisper that you were wrong, that this teaching led you astray, that real faith does not look this foolish, that you should just accept your situation with dignity and call it the will of God. Recognize that voice. Identify it precisely. That is not the voice of the Holy Spirit. That is not the inward monitor leading you into truth. God does not call his children back into defeat and call it spiritual maturity. That is the voice of sense knowledge. The voice of the accuser using your own nervous system and your own emotion to testify against the verdict of heaven. It is the same voice that told Peter he was sinking after he had already walked on water. The wave did not disprove the miracle. It was simply the test of whether Peter would keep his eyes on the word or shift them to the sensation. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, "We walk by faith and not by sight." The word sight here is idos in the Greek. It means the outward appearance. It means what the physical senses report as present reality. Walking by faith means you are not navigating by what the body reports or what the bank statement shows or what the doctor predicts. You are navigating by what the eternal covenant word of God declares. And when those two realities come into direct conflict, you do not compromise between them. You choose the word completely every time. Not because you are delusional about the natural realm, but because you know which realm is the causal realm, which realm produces and governs the other, and which report carries more legal weight in the court of heaven.

The enemy will also come with condemnation. This is his most reliable weapon against believers who are beginning to walk in authority. He will remind you of your failures. He will rehearse your inconsistency. He will bring up the last three times you tried to stand in faith and eventually back down. He will suggest that covenant rights belong to more qualified believers, to the serious intercessors, to the ones who have never doubted, to the ones whose faith is stronger than yours. And if you receive that accusation, if you allow it to take root in your spirit consciousness, it will drain the declaration of its force before you even open your mouth. Answer him with the blood. Do not answer him with your track record because your track record is not the basis of your covenant standing. The covenant was not offered to you on the basis of your performance. It was offered to you on the basis of his blood. And the blood does not fluctuate based on how consistent you have been this week. The blood of the new covenant is not a variable. It is the constant, the foundation, the unchanging basis on which every covenant right you possess is secured. Your feelings about yourself are variable. Your discipline is variable. Your consistency is variable. But the blood of Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And when the accuser brings the record of your failures, you do not argue with the record. You point to the blood and you declare, "This record has been answered by the blood of the new covenant. This court has seen the blood. The judge has accepted the payment. The case is closed. Answer him with the blood." Revelation 12:11 says the overcomers overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. The blood of the lamb is not your achievement. It is not something you earned by consistency or accumulated by spiritual performance. The blood of the lamb is the basis of the covenant. And the covenant belongs equally to every born-again child of God from the newest believer to the most seasoned elder. When the accuser presents the record of your failures, you present the blood of the new covenant and you declare, "The blood speaks better things. The blood has answered this charge. The blood has satisfied this court. The accuser has no standing here. And what is the word of your testimony? It is this declaration over your life. It is you looking into the face of the resistance and [music] saying, "Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. I am more than a conqueror through him who loved me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am healed. I am free. I am provided for. And it is finished."

Now I want to bring this to its crescendo because everything we have established today must land in a place of settled unshakeable conviction in your spirit. Not emotion, not excitement that fades by Thursday. Settled conviction. The kind that holds when the symptom returns at 2 in the morning. The kind that holds when the bill arrives. The kind that holds when the person you shared this truth with looks at you like you have lost your mind. That settled conviction only comes from the word, meditating on it, confessing it, building it into the structure of your inner life until it is more familiar to you than the problem has ever been.

Let me lead you in a closing declaration. And I want you to say this with full voice and full intention. "I am not a beggar. I am a covenant heir. The work of the cross is finished and its finished work covers every area of my life without exception. My healing is finished at Calvary. My provision is finished at Calvary. My freedom from every bondage is finished at Calvary. My righteousness before God is finished at Calvary. I do not petition for what has already been given. I do not plead for what has already been secured. I enforce what has already been decided by the judge of all the earth. Satan. You have no legal standing in my body, my mind, my home, or my finances. Because the verdict has been rendered. The gavel has fallen, and the blood of the new covenant has satisfied every claim against me. It is finished. It is finished. It is finished. In the name of Jesus, I receive this verdict now and I walk in it from this day forward. So be it."

That declaration you just made is not empty words that bounced off the ceiling. It is a legal brief filed in the courts of heaven, backed by the blood of the new covenant, endorsed by the advocate who sits at the right hand of the father, carried by angels who minister to those who are heirs of salvation. Something shifted when you spoke that. Do not let anyone talk you out of what just happened in the spirit.

Now, if this teaching has opened something real in your spirit today, I want you to go to the comment section right now and type these exact words: Tetelesti. It is finished in my life. That is your public declaration of the verdict. That is you filing your testimony before the watching church and the watching spiritual world. do that before you do anything else. Type it right now in the comments. And if this channel has been feeding your spirit, if the revelation of the new covenant and the finished work of the cross has been bringing light to places where religion left you in the dark, subscribe to this channel so you never miss a teaching. And share this video with someone who is fighting a battle they believe they are losing. They need to hear the word tetelesti spoken over their situation. You may be the person God uses to deliver that revelation to them today. Do not wait. Share it now.

You are not walking into your future as a supplicant hoping for favor. You are walking in as a son, as a daughter, as a covenant heir, carrying a legal document signed in the blood of the lamb, bearing the seal of the Holy Spirit and stamped with the most powerful word ever spoken in human history. It is finished.

If I may share something personal with you before we close, because this is the part that I find myself needing to hear just as much as anyone listening. I have learned that this revelation is not a one-time event that transforms you permanently the moment you hear it. You do not encounter tetelesti once and then coast into flawless victory forever. The renewing of the mind that Paul speaks of in Romans 12 is a daily practice, sometimes an hourly one. There are mornings when the symptoms are loud and the word feels distant. And what I have carried with me in those moments is this simple truth. The covenant holds whether or not I feel strong. The verdict was not rendered in my living room on a good day. It was rendered at Calvary on the worst day in human history. And nothing that happens in my circumstances can unseal what the blood has sealed. The practical lesson I have learned walking this out is this. The moment I begin describing my problem more than I am declaring the answer, I lose the ground. I just gained that one discipline. Choosing what my mouth gives attention to in the ordinary hours of the day has changed more in my life than any single prayer meeting ever did. Be gentle with yourself as you walk this out. Even mature believers stumble and that is not disqualifying. The covenant holds the indwelling one, the greater one who lives in you. He is faithful to lead you back to the verdict every single time. Lean into his presence today. Not into this channel, not into the teacher, but into the one who said before you were born, "It is finished."
