When the 12th house ruler comes through the first house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, and the non-personal collective come into the house of the persona, survival, and assertion. So karma comes in this lifetime, and often comes quick. When one creates a consequence, it shows up very obviously and and very fully when the 12th is in the first. So one's self-destructive choices can impact health and longevity, our looks, and how one sabotages themselves. It can have major consequences on our physiology. So one can exhibit the qualities of the 12th house in their appearance because this is the house of the persona, the first layer of what we show and tell about ourselves. So there can be two extremes in how the 12th house shows up in one's persona. We can embody clarity and compassion if the immature egoic ascendant, that is focused on physical survival, has surrendered to the larger connection to the universe. So if we've given up the ego, and if one is struggling with surrender, then it's common to see one who exhibits the scars of escape. The first and seventh house deal with confrontation, so one is confronted by their own ghosts whenever they look in the mirror with this placement. Easy aspects to the ruler of the 12th house indicate that someone is experiencing positive results of their choices, and one can see the outcome of evolving and being reborn, and the results of how well one knows themselves are very plain and undeniable. So how we undo ourselves, how we work against ourselves, how we are our own worst enemy, that shows up in the physical area of life, and it shows up in an area of life where things come fast, and they come strong, and they come very obvious.
When we have the 12th house ruler in the second house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective come into the house of income, physical security, beauty, self-esteem, or artistic talents. So how well one knows themselves is going to impact how one is able to support and value themselves. Self-sabotage can cause personal value, finances, materials, stability to suffer. How we are our own worst enemy. So we can feel that we may never get a financial footing, that there's waste when it comes to income, that we can't keep track of it. Easy aspects can result in a perspective that allows one to have both the earthly goods one desires and the non-personal connectivity that one desires. And so we don't have the the loss of the physical into the ether. We could we can have both with the easy aspects. We can give of ourselves without becoming materially poor with the easy aspects or with solved difficult aspects. So some people can experience the sacrifices described by the 12th house as guilty giving, and there can be a belief that if one suffers the trials of poverty, they will have paid their penance, or they'll somehow be reborn or be forgiven. So we can have some complexes related to poverty and how we feel that makes us better, or is a kind of a moral price that we pay. We can see those kind of complexes with the 12th coming through the second in difficult aspects.
When the 12th house ruler is in the third house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective comes through the house of communication, concepts, siblings, close community relationships, early education, and our courage. The third house contains our courage. So the intuitive nature of the 12th house is, for positive or negative, going to be able to be tapped into by the thinking mind. So one can have clarity of vision, clairvoyance, due to how the mind is able to rationally interpret the non-linear nature of the 12th house. We can be able to put feelings into pictures or words, intuitions into words or into concepts. So with difficult aspects to a ruler of the 12th, we can confuse intuition with what is personal and actually be our own worst enemy when it comes to our faulty interpretations. We could believe our own mind. It's hard aspects to outer planets that rule the 12th house, it can increase the likelihood of self-delusion, thinking that we know the things that we can't know. So one can also question their own feelings and intuition. We can think it to death, but overthinking that can kill the instinct. You have to watch out for that and look at hard objects for that. And we may lack the courage to follow our own inner guidance with difficult aspects. So dependency on others' opinions and perspectives, that can keep us from acting as an individual because we have that collective dependency of the 12th house coming into an area of life where we often need to make some split decisions.
With the 12th house ruler in the fourth house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective comes into the house of emotional stability, family conditioning, what soothed, familiarity, and feelings. So what is inherited on a cosmic level has a lot to do with what becomes instinctual on the earthly plane. So one can transcend the prison of the past and reach a non-egoic perspective that contributes to emotional and psychological stability. Feelings can be muddled by a lack of clarity of hard aspects to the ruler of the 12th house. Are there feelings can be clearly telling us? It's what is unspoken with easy or solved hard aspects, but it's that clarity that we're getting to. So one can feel driven by guilt if they're lacking in sight into their primary patterns because we do have the house of guilt, 12th house, coming into the house of patterns and what's habitual and what feels normal, even if it isn't healthy. So if we lack that insight into why we do something, then it it could be a major, major blind spot because we have the 12th house ruler of of um of confusion and evasion and escapism and denial coming into an area of life where if if we don't see really a primary source of something, a habitual nature of something, the the why do we keep doing it over and over and over, that we may not get a handle on it. So a lot of our self-undoing can be related to that guilt. Guilt can be acted out by sacrificially taking care of others, enabling others' weaknesses, because this is a house of nurturing, and how we deal with our guilt is going to be very much described by aspects in this context of life. And we can feel free when confronting ghosts from the past. A trusted counselor, somebody that that we can confide in, that can really, really help us to find a measure of the inner peace. So there can be a rebirth into a cycle, letting go of a lot of our primary patterns, and a rebirth into a new cycle that really cuts the guilty tendrils of the past, that allows us to create a new kind of culture, a new kind of habit pattern. So we can be the genesis of an original story that's based on the present, if we can really understand that the habitual nature of the ghosts of the past that are very much driving us.
When we have the 12th house ruler in the fifth house, we have the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity of confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective that's coming into the house of self-expression and identity, validation, fun, and games. So we can create an ideal beauty, a high art, through our own type of creativity. This is a very artistic overlay. So what does universally sought after, what we all went to to merge into, the the ideal of something that can be depicted in the art of one's life, what what our creative offering is, and we can be the personal conduit for what is collectively ideal. Hard aspects to the ruler of the twelve that can lead to escaping into extravagance or romance or glamour or spending on what brings a temporary pleasure. So our undoing can come through extravagance, through waste. So we can struggle with being drawn to Pleasure Island with the 12th and the fifth, the difficult aspects. So immaturity, fail in the tests of the fifth house in our evolution, that can lead to weakness in asserting our own brand of creativity. We may not know what it is that we do or can create. We may not know what our offering is. We may not know what our talents are. So we have to have a certain amount of uh, a a personal uh, personal being. We we cannot uh, you know, be solely wrapped up in in the transpersonal because life is a balance. We have to have a sense of self before we can successfully negotiate the things of the 12th house. And if we have difficult aspects, we can have an immaturity in this area of life that is about individuation, that allows us to then have the most successful outcome in the 12th house. So that's where we can fall into wanting to escape into more teenager, immature activities or dating or romance, that's what I mean by failing the test of the fifth house. So we can have a weakness there when it comes to the kind of creativity that makes the world go brand, if we don't have that individual piece. So we can lag insight into how we abandon ourselves or don't take risks, especially creative risks, due to a need for acceptance because we haven't gone through that proper individuation process. And we may not take these creative risks out of fear, out of lack of confidence. And we may not respond to that pull toward personal freedom. So we have to be able to know with the 12th in the fifth, what the contents of the fifth house are, what is it that that our show is about, what is it that we want to offer, what is our unique brand of art.
With the 12th house ruler in the sixth house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, of a non-personal collective concept of a house of health, organization, routine, practice, management, analysis, work, and skills. Things are very much opposite to the 12th house. So one can be susceptible to poisons with displacement and seeking medications to facilitate to help us escape or numb guilt. This can be a thing. How we deal with our guilt can impact our health. So we can experience addictions in ways that are going to have more of a an impact on on how we feel and and our longevity. They're going to affect our health more than if that ruler were to be in a different house. So where somebody else may experience, you know, some amount of side effects, we may experience all of them, or we may experience um more more bad effects in general when it comes to how we are trying to escape through substances, through pills, through medicines, it's more impactful for us. What this place...
So skills can be hard to discern. We may not know what path to take in terms of practical skills. You know, what should we do when we graduate from high school? Those, you know, that path may not be very clear for us because we have the the 12th house of what might be hidden coming into an area of life where we just need to get down to business. So with hard aspects, especially, we can be caught up in our dreams, ran our confusion, rather than pursuing and practicing what avenues of work are actually available to us. So it may not be what we want to do, but it's what is there, and it's what is is going to pay us for right now. So a lot of times we just need to accept the reality of work. We can be of service that depletes us or enriches us, depending on our self-awareness and what we're doing and how we understand our guilt, and are we responding to our guilt? Because we may be making ourselves sick in search of freedom of how we give service. If that comes from a guilty place, it may be something that doesn't make us feel better. It takes something from us, and we may be giving what what we don't actually have or what we shouldn't be giving. So we can throw ourselves into service with the 12th and the sixth that requires a sacrifice that maybe shouldn't be making if we understood our egoic motivations. I'm really interested what we were really why we were really doing this. So those who are clear can provide diligent and real care to those who deserve it. They can identify those who deserve it. But the easy aspects are with clarity, and we don't have that dependency that we're fostering. We don't have the depletion that we can get into ourselves. The motivation is going to be very, very important to look at. So clear expression of Neptune in sixth can lead can lead us to channel authentic concern and love, universal compassion into actions that heal and support others in meaningful ways, practical ways, ways that people can really point to.
But the 12th house ruler and the seventh house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, spirituality, and non-personal collective comes into the house of partnerships, the shadow side, harmony, and confrontation. So one's tendency is towards self-undoing can directly affect relationships and show up in our choice of partners. And we can't allow dependencies to proliferate in other people. I have to look at who and why and what we're supporting. We can seek to escape guilt through dependent relationships with displacement. So harmony can come at the cost of authenticity, and hard aspects can make discernment especially difficult. We may not see who we're really with. So we can seek to escape into another person that's seen as a soul mate or a perfect other. And hard aspects are going to show a search for transcendence through others, through partners, and they can seem to come to us through ideal channels or spiritual ways. So we can deceive ourselves in order to partner with somebody who really fits a preconceived ideal. There can be a strong objectification that we have to really pierce through with the difficult aspects with the 12th and the seventh. So we can unconsciously search for those who conspire with us to keep our egoic motivations alive. As we're often working behind the scenes, we're working behind our own scenes. This is how we're getting in our own way, how we are deceiving ourselves with the things of the 12th house. And we may be finding another person to be in cahoots with us when it comes to keeping our blindness going. So easy aspects can lead to sensitivity and partnerships, sacrificing appropriately for others, and forgiving compassion. And we may be able to hold awareness of our separate self alongside awareness of our connection to the all, connection to the partner. Easy aspects are going to lead to less confusion about what this proper sacrifice is in relationships, and um, and and and show a lack of a self-deception overall when it comes to others, and and what we choose to believe about others. This can be a pervasively that more delusional place in the sense that the seventh house is a social house. It it doesn't describe just romantic partners, it describes others, all others. So we may not be seeing the majority or are most people that we interact with clearly. We may be attributing the motivations that are not there, particularly with difficult aspects. So with the easy aspects, that awareness of our separate self, that can allow us to interact with the other person and in a spiritual way, but in a way that doesn't allow the The Disappearance of our individuality. We don't feel like we're sacrificing ourself in order to be with another. And with with the hard aspects, it can be something that we're going to have to work through um, very carefully, because it can often feel like love and partnership, it is sacrifice, it it is pain, it it is giving up, and and and those can actually be some very toxic romantic ideals that we have to work through, that that are not healthy at all. So we're learning to confront in relationships, what's a product of our own blindness, learning how to see how we are our own worst enemy when it comes to our choices of partners, or how we interact within partnerships.
When we have the 12th house ruler in the eighth house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, and non-personal reflective comes into the house of suffering, death, healing, obsession, addiction, rebirth. So this position can lead to a lot of paranoia, depending on how self-aware one is. And aspects, hard aspects can lead to one's pension for escapism and guilt to come through an area of life where addiction is a primary activity. So we can be our own worst enemy, and we can find that how we deal with guilt, how we deal with pain, how we deal with sorrow, that that can drive us to more difficult addictions. Deviant behaviors can emerge as a way to manage sadness and self-disconnection, or guilt can often be the basis of perversions, and people can seek to escape unaddressed guilt through abuse or disempowerment of themselves or another. So when clarity has been achieved, this placement can lead to proper discernment regarding true nature, because within the eighth house, we find that that instinct for the truth, or wanting to get down to them the core of the truth. So we could recognize what is real, and the instinct for deception is sharp. They can become very sharp due to the courage to recognize and confront that within oneself. So we can feel prepared to enter intense or taxing situations with confidence. We can feel safe because we've wrestled with our own darkness, and we can trust that we can handle, we can confront whatever inner demons may come up. So how well we recognize our own self-deception and and we address that, that directly translates to a feeling of security, because we've recognized that we do not have to fear our worst enemy. We know that we can be our own worst enemy. So with the easy aspects, with the solved hard aspects, we may take responsibility for our own self-undoing. We may see it, and the kind of rebirth that comes from that, it there's a a security because again, we know what the demon looks like. So to the degree that we recognize the darkness in us, or the the evil in us, is to is the same degree that we can recognize it and see it in other people. So we can feel that there is this this transparency that that can be achieved if if we can have that within ourselves, and other people's motives, and other people's darkness, that becomes very transparent to us. We can recognize darkness. There is a danger with this placement because there's the possibility of grabbing for power in ways that are going to harm ourselves, harm other people, because our self-undoing is coming through an area of life where where we can grapple before more power. We can cause deep generational pain through choices that are ultimately disempowering, because in that seeking for more power, it it does it does not work, it's not a successful outcome, because we are being driven by unseen forces within our own selves. When we have the house of undoing, self-undoing coming in through the house of of death and destruction and evil, we can do evil unto ourselves. And kind of self-destruction that that we can experience is something that can have a generational effect. It isn't just going to be us that pays the price for some of our are very negative choices. So this can be a position that inspires great clarity, but it is also one where it may not just be us that pays the price for our confusion and delusion, but others as well.
The 12th house ruler in the ninth house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective comes into the house of culture and inspiration, education, social participation. So mystical yearnings are expressed through education, and we seek to discover the mysteries of life and the unseen through a quest. So we can feel that we have a spiritualness which that can bring happiness to others. Hard aspects to the ruler of the 12th house can describe a zeal to convert others to one's own way of thinking as a means for spiritual connectivity. So one can undo themselves in their quest for happiness by seeking to create a cult or a following or collect a collective that allows us to exist in a bubble or very much unexamined beliefs. So we can have our blissful ignorance coming into an area of life where we have shared ideas. So we can seek to rid ourselves of guilt through embracing cultural stories or religious ideas. And this placement of the 12th house ruler can lead us to an involve ourselves with others who uplift us. We want to join in some kind of of religious spiritual collective activity. So we can feel drawn to save others, but this can come in actually very sincere ways. We can share our light, our wisdom, our experience, and and hope that it will guide another. We will teach another. This can be a very generous placement. So our guilt in our sorrow described by the 12th house, that's something that we can feel the through collective or religious activity that we can address that, or we can give that up, and and that can actually be a bonding practice. The the matters of the 12th house are coming through an area of life that is about ritual. So through ritual, we can feel that we have addressed as some of our deepest yearnings, our are demons, how we can seek to escape ourselves, how we are our own worst enemy.
With the 12th house ruler in the 10th house, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective comes into the house of career, public image, over oriented toward discipline and maturity. The 12th house is having an influence on our worldly goals. So our compassion, our spirituality, the ultimate connectivity that we're seeking, and that's going to affect and influence the kind of earthly or worldly goals that we're going to put our energy into. We are we are of a bigger perspective, and we have the 12th coming through the 10th, we can be focused more on life satisfaction rather than just career or material satisfaction. The the giant perspective of the 12th coming through the 10th. So hard aspects can lead to self-undoing behaviors that are going to show up publicly within this the sphere of reputation and work. We might be known for what it is, how we work against ourselves. So we can act out shame in the area of life where what we're trying to achieve respect. We can act out guilt in an area of life where we're trying to achieve respect. So we may experience loss rather than gain in terms of doing better as we get older with this placement. And holding a job under pressure and perseverance can be very much challenged by how well one accepts their weaknesses and and how one gives in to their weaknesses and chooses to to work through those and stay the course. The 12th is a house of sleep, a house of non-activity, and we have to be careful about what we're escaping when it comes to our responsibilities and what's happening particularly in career life. But the 12th and the 10th, we can have some grand illusions about ourselves with some hard aspects. We can have some ideas about what we'd like to be, what we'd like to achieve, but if we have aspects that indicate a lack of action, then that can make it very, very hard to make those grand ideas about ourselves actually happen, come into existence. So we can often feel like we we can't make the the dreams come true that we have. The 12th in the 10th with difficult aspects, because we may have a disparity there between the the size of the dream and the reality of the dream, and then who we are, and and what we're actually doing, what we're actually putting forth. This is a very pragmatic area of life, and if we have ideas, dreams, visions that is that that we just don't have the resources or sometimes but the tenacity to achieve, this can have an impact on our self-esteem. In the 10th house, we can have an idea of ourselves that we're a loser, we just can't make things come true, and we may not realize that there is a disparity between what we're expecting of ourselves and what we want from ourself, and who we really are, and what we really have to work with. So we sometimes have to look at that gap when it comes to how we're judging ourselves at this particular placement. What is hidden within us threatens to be revealed in public situations with the 12th and the 10th, and we can have instances um, are we inadvertently embarrass ourselves, or we have something private come out in public life, some kind of exposure that can can lead to revelation.
Okay, um, hard aspects can lead to issues with accepting our responsibilities. This is the house of responsibility, and if we have difficult aspects to the ruler of the 12th house, particularly if those are planets that maybe we're in the 12th that are primarily responsible for a shouldering responsibility for, um, for taking initiative, uh, you know, if we say it's Saturn or Mars, up to the sun can also be one, uh, that can make it a bit harder to accept our part in things. We often don't want to see how we're working against ourselves in the 12th house. So we have to mature out of self-escaping behaviors of the 12th in the 10th, particularly in difficult aspects, if we're going to find the social and material security one needs, because we can be eroding the the kind of co, the kind of respect, the kind of social security, the kind of trust that other people have in us, if we're dealing with difficult aspects, because we may not have we may not be showing up as reliable when we're dealing with difficult aspects. So we may sabotage our own career goals in an effort to remain blind, in an effort to remain lazy, in an effort to remain ignorant of ourselves. So we can really do ourselves a disservice when it comes to getting ahead in the world or achieving some of our our primary goals, if we don't realize how we may be working against ourselves, if we really haven't solved some of those difficult aspects that can lead us to behave in in very, very destructive and blind ways.
Well, you have the 12th house ruler in the 11th house. We have the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective coming into the house of friendships, extended community, autonomy, teams, politics. So depending on aspects, one can find groups or teams or affiliations that contribute to their healthy self-interest or not. We may vote against our own interests with difficult aspects because we can undo ourselves in the context of ideology, the teams that we join, uh, the kind of politics that we follow.
So if we don't understand ourselves, then we may not have the kind of perspective that it takes to make a clear political or ideological decision. So we could flock with others who don't if we don't elevate us, or who rob us of real freedom. That we lack clarity about who we are, why we do things, because we could be trying to escape ourselves through flocking behavior. Okay. And we can feel very isolated with hard aspects because we have the house of of ultimate isolation or ultimate connectivity coming into the house of friendships. And if if we have difficult aspects, then we can feel extremely alone. We could feel extremely cut off. With the 12th house ruler in the 11th, particularly in hard aspects, we can be drawn to posers, to actors, those who look like the real thing, and we can become fans of those who look like the real thing. So feeling more betrayed, or like there's a lack of trust in those that we are a fan of, or those that we are entertained by, that can be a symptom that we are lacking discernment about what is authentic. There can be a major inauthenticity in ourselves because we can be very, very sure that we have surrendered, we can be very, very sure that we are vulnerable, and that we have arrived, but we may not realize that a part of our idea about ourselves, and part of our identity, is that we think ourselves up as an enlightened person. So the 11th is an area of life where we have this liberation from the bonds of the ego, the limitations of feeling restricted just to the the earthly plane, or to the earthly body, or to our current circumstances. And we can be very, very convinced that we are having these shattering or enlightening experiences when we have the 12th house ruler coming into the 11th. But if that could be the right nature of the ego itself, is that it it is fed by this idea that it has surpassed itself, or it it doesn't exist. That that is the identity of the ego itself, is that it doesn't exist. There is a a surrender that that is necessary.
When we have the 12th house ruler in the 12th house itself, the house of self-undoing, deepest karma, clarity or confusion, isolation, unity, and spirituality, the non-personal collective that's coming into the house of all of those same things. So the matters of the 12th are served by the 12th house itself. So the lack of insight into how we portray ourselves to ourself can lead to our self-undoing.
T with guilt can lead to alcoholism, addiction, insanity, incarceration, self-sabotage. So this can be a place where how we lie to ourselves has has major implications when it comes to confinement. So we can be a victim of our own self-absorbed absorption that is going to take the role of giving or sacrificial behavior. It can actually be victimized by how we give, or how we sacrifice, or how we enable. We can be victimizing ourselves. So we can be lost in our sensitivities, disoriented by the lack of boundary between herself and other, and our compassion might be our undoing. How we give of ourselves might be our undoing. So we have to really examine our reasons for giving of ourselves and and responding to guilt, why does it exist, should we respond to it. So what we do to embark ourselves from guilt can cause guilt with displacement. Best results of the 12th house ruler in the 12th house can lead to a type of recognition of oneself in everything. So we can understand how we are directly responsible for our reality, for what we see, and we have to save ourselves before we can help another. So if that focus can turn to saving ourselves from ourselves, rather than seeking to save others or be saved by others, then we can feel that sense of unity, then sense of connectivity, because we are not escaping ourselves. It's a it's a type of coming home. It's a type of immunity with the self. Um, the hard aspects can lead to very difficult experiences when it comes to putting ourselves in a position where others have to save us, or creating dependencies where others have no choice but to depend on us, or to be saved by us. So there can be a lot of manipulation, and we may not realize it with hard aspects. We we may not see ourselves as manipulative at all. We have to see how we are creating our own world, our own reality. There can be a terrible, terrible victimhood that we deal with with the 12th house ruler and the 12th with difficult aspects. We can see our own guilt, our own pain in everything and not realize it for what it is. But the easy aspects, it may be much, much easier to have that transcendent experience of of really seeing ourselves, not just as the victim, but as the creator, and really understanding that the self-undoing that we can experience is a product of not knowing ourselves and not understanding what we are doing to ourselves behind the scenes. So we can unburden ourselves by really, really coming to grips with how we are the one who does burden ourselves.
