Coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. All right, here to give you some week 17 rankings. Now, it is very late. Santa's almost here, so I better keep this brief.
And that starts it off with the S tier. Puka Nua is somebody we need to have a big week here, ladies and gentlemen. He had a big week last week. He scored 46 and a half fantasy points. The week prior, he scored 28. The week before that, he scored 35.7. It's a good matchup against Atlanta. You actually have an implied team total of 28 and a half points here for the Los Angeles Rams. So, this is super freaking important.
It is also important because your boy has some pretty big things going on in underdog drafts at the moment where we had incredible advance rates weeks one through 14. Week 15 we crushed. Week 16 we absolutely crushed. And now we have a ton of teams in the underdog finals. This big dog team is one of 10 in the finals of that tournament. 200,000 for first, 10,000 for 10th place. So we've at least got 10,000 locked up there. Looking at the expected value of all those teams, we got a combined 78,000. But anyway, this is the biggest one we got to look out for is the big dog. And you better believe it has Puka Nakua on it. So you better believe I'm rooting for a nuclear Puka week.
Next is JSN, then Jamar Chase, then Amon-Ra St. Brown. I'm not going to bother talking about any of these guys. They're S tier options. You know, you want to start them. And honestly, because I don't have them on that big dog team, I hope they do absolutely nothing.
Okay, now going over to our next one, we are going to be led off with the Dallas Cowboys receivers. I'm going to have both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens as at least mid wide receiver ones here because we are looking at an incredible matchup against Washington. You have an implied team total of 29 and a half points, which puts them as one of the highest scoring offenses on the week. Really only behind the Cincinnati Bengals. Obviously, you like this setup. If you go through and if you look at what you've gotten from these receivers as of late, CeeDee Lamb since coming back from his injury, at the very minimum, has at least given you 10 fantasy points every single week and at least given you seven targets. George Pickens has been a little bit more up and down, but with Pickens, you have the incredibly high ceiling regardless, and we've seen him since Lamb's return from his own injury. I mean, being a top five wide receiver in three separate weeks.
Now, moving over to Drake London. London, his first game back didn't look great, but he had eight targets. So, I'm just going to go right back to him. I mean, we had London coming through with some very impressive wide receiver one overall weeks earlier in the season.
Then going over to Nico Collins. Um, I sadly had Nico Collins on my Flock League team. RIP us in the Flock League. Do I want to talk about it? Not at all. I'm going to pretend like I'm not even in that league. And I'm going to pretend that my underdog basketball teams are the only thing that matters. But looking at this with Mr. Nico, yeah, he was the wide receiver 36 last week. Thanks for nothing, buddy. Thanks for not helping me one bit. But he still had nine targets. He still has been a target monster so far this year. This matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers is an incredibly important game. I will say Houston doesn't project to score a ton of points, which is a little bit concerning here.
Now, another team that I have on this massive big dog underdog team that's in the finals is going to be Chris Olave. Another player that is. I apologize. And obviously Olave gets us there this past week, dropping two receiving touchdowns, 16 targets, 10 receptions, 148 receiving yards, and 37 fantasy points. Now, this matchup against Tennessee is one in which you'd assume that, hell, the New Orleans Saints can win this game. They potentially could run the ball in the second half. So maybe the passing volume isn't exactly there, but honestly, who cares? He is just an absolute target hog.
AJ Brown has seen a ridiculous amount of targets as of late. I had to play against this guy last week when he had 12 targets, the second most that he's had all year long. But if you look at AJ Brown over the past six games or so, I mean, he has had five games where he's had double-digit targets. So, the target volume's going up quite dramatically.
Going over to Jameson Williams. Y'all know I'm not the biggest Jamo guy in the world, but again, look at him after the bye week. Six, seven, seven, three, 10, nine, 10, nine targets. Over the past four games, he's had at least nine targets in every single one. This matchup against Minnesota. The Vikings are pretty good defense, but the Lions still project to score 25 points.
Um, T.J. Hockenson didn't really have a ton of targets last week. I know that really all the touchdowns got funneled through the running backs and I'm going to be live streaming the running back rankings video literally right after this. I know some people are going to be screaming at me, Mason. Oh my gosh, why didn't we see a video on Monday or Tuesday? I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen. Let me say this for the record right now. Okay, one, I'm allowed to give my editor some time off for the holidays. I'm sorry for that. And two, do you really need me to give you waiver wire advice for your championship week? If you're in the championship right now, are you really starting a waiver wire player? I didn't do a waiver wire video last week either because the only thing that matters at this point is weekly rankings. That's it. And I wanted to wait until we had all the injury news. Hockenson's going to play, um, with Hockenson, great matchup against Arizona as well where the Cincinnati Bengals do project to score the most points in the league.
Now, moving over to our next one that we are going to have, and oh god, I just realized that my elbow messed up the audio. I apologize for that, ladies and gentlemen. The audio should be a little bit better.
Now, moving over to Courtland Sutton, looking at this matchup against Kansas City, honestly, there's a chance that the Denver Broncos just lay an egg. The Chiefs are playing for literally nothing at this point. Denver's out there making a statement. Implied team total of 25 points. You'd assume this is a game in which they're able to just run the ball over and over and over again. But Sutton, I mean, dropped 20 fantasy points on my head last week and had 10 targets in three weeks straight.
Jahan Dotson was super disappointing this past week in a tough matchup against Minnesota when Jahan Dotson couldn't complete a pass. However, he still is getting the target volume. He's had at least six targets every single game since week nine. And he's had at least seven targets in every game but one since week five. So the matchup against Las Vegas, this Raiders team is a team that's given up.
Going over to Michael Wilson, great receiving touchdown this past week. I also believe I have Michael Wilson on that team that's playing for 200,000 on Underdog. Um, so I'm really hoping Michael Wilson comes through for us. He only had three targets though, so obviously it is a night and day difference when you have Marvin Harrison playing versus when you have Marvin Harrison out. And honestly, I think we actually forgot to put Marvin Harrison in these rankings now that I think about it. So, we're going to have to keep our eye out on where we would put Marvin Harrison in here. And I'll bring that up again. I apologize. Normally, um, I'm just going to pull back the curtain for you all real quick. There's always like a player I forget on these rankings and typically I'll realize halfway through, but since it's a video and not a live stream, I'll just go, "Oh crap, let me just add them in here halfway through and keep it going." But can't do that because we're live given the editor Christmas Eve off, which I apologize for doing that for y'all. But anyway, moving over to this next one. It's hard to tell how this stream looks when we're on the laptop here.
Um, we have Mike Evans leading us off. Evans came away with the receiving touchdown this past week. Obviously, target volume. Um, was fine. Nine targets, only 31 receiving yards, though. If it wasn't for the touchdown, would have been a pretty gross day, but he's had back-to-back fantasy performances with him being a top 24 option. Good matchup against Miami as well.
Going over to D.J. Moore. He had 10 targets and a receiving touchdown this past week. A really important game for the Panthers. But with that being said, you also have a very low projection for this offense. So, one thing that I'm going to change because obviously y'all know I also update these rankings for the members of the site and we typically update those even after we record these videos. I think I'm going to put Jauan Jennings ahead of D.J. Moore and I possibly will put Jauan Jennings ahead of Mike Evans. Honestly, I may put Jauan Jennings ahead of Michael Wilson, JuJu Smith-Schuster. Jauan Jennings really should be like wide receiver 14 this week.
Now, I'm going to be completely honest with you. I know I keep talking about this, but the only thing I got to look forward to this week is freaking that Underdog team. I need George Kittle to play. So, I'm praying to God that Kittle is out there. Kittle did not practice today. They said that he has a shot to be good to go. Jauan Jennings has averaged one touchdown per game over the past seven games that he has played and the target volume's been there. Plus, here the Niners project to score a ton of points. So, I would say that Jauan Jennings is somebody that we should go ahead and honestly lock in and probably needs to be higher in these rankings.
Moving over to DeVonta Smith. Um, he had eight targets this past week. Scored the receiving touchdown. Only had 42 receiving yards. This matchup against Buffalo will be interesting. And there is an outside chance, should bring this up, that you actually have no A.J. Brown this week. A.J. Brown missed practice. I think he got his wisdom teeth removed. I don't exactly know why. They just said that he missed practice with a tooth issue. Um, but if that were to happen, DeVonta Smith does move into the top 10 wide receivers and would be an auto-start.
Moving over to Zay Flowers. Zay Flowers had a really good week, but um here the Ravens aren't really playing for anything at this point. I believe the Ravens are out of it, right? And at the same time, they have an implied team total of 18 and a half points. Ravens project to be one of the worst teams in the league.
Going over to D.J. Moore, I am making this ranking under the assumption that you have no Romeo Doubs and you have no Christian Watson, which D.J. Moore obviously had one of the best, I don't want to say catches, but he caught one of the best throws of the season to end the game against the Packers last week. Without that single reception, would have been a very underwhelming week, but you're going to get those targets if you're D.J. Moore and you're in a game with no Doubs and with no Watson, but it's not a guarantee those wide receivers going to miss just yet.
Now, going over to Jakobi Meyers, eight targets this past week, seven targets the week prior. Um, playing at Indianapolis, um, pretty important game here obviously for the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27 and a half point implied team total. They project to score a ton of points and Meyers continues to see significantly more targets over Brian Thomas.
And then going over to Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson barely makes C tier here. Um, you're on the third-string quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. And the last time we had this quarterback start a game, I believe, was against the Seattle Seahawks when Justin Jefferson scored 2.4 points.
Now, let's move this over to D tier where we are going to have Terry McLaurin leading us off. It's a good matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Terry McLaurin has had one top 12 finish so far this season. He's had one game with 20 or more fantasy points. Back-to-back weeks with only four targets, but the matchup is pretty good.
Going over to Jaylen Waddle. Did not like what we saw with Tua Tagovailoa this past week. It was a good matchup against Cincy. I needed Waddle to come through for us in the Flock League. He diddly squat. Now, obviously, it was mainly Josh Allen and Josh Jacobs that did us dirty, but Waddle, you could have been a hero for me. You weren't, and I'm not going to respect you for that. Uh, but here you have nine targets. The target volume is consistent.
I know a lot of people are going to want Stefon Diggs higher than this because if you are looking at Diggs, two separate things. One is coming off a really strong game against the Baltimore Ravens. That was a prime time game that everybody watched. Obviously was a very good game, very exciting. And he had 10 targets, nine receptions, 138 receiving yards, scored about 23 fantasy points. Second thing that people are going to be excited about is, oh, I realize y'all can't even see this crap, can y'all? We got to move this down. Sorry. Again, we are in Tampa, Florida. It's the holidays. Santa's getting here in about two hours. So, I got to make sure that we just make this work for y'all. So, sorry if y'all haven't been able to see the bottom of the screen. We'll fix that for the running back ones. But anyway, second reason people are going to be super excited is you get to go up against the New York Jets. The Jets arguably have the worst defense in the league right now. We just saw what a did against them. We just saw what um happened at the Jets two weeks back. And here my hesitation is unlike Jaylen Waddle, target volume's not consistent for Diggs against Buffalo the week prior. The dude had four targets. He had four targets against the Giants the week before that. Three targets against the Cincinnati Bengals the week before that. So, it's a great matchup for Diggs. He had a great week last week, but still target volume's not that consistent.
Josh Downs is a literal turd. I'm going to be honest with you 100%. No idea why Josh Downs is this high in the rankings. I need to move him down. I would, if I were you, I'd play Lad McConkey over him. Is Lad McConkey great? No. Like, I'm gonna be excited. I'll pull up. Um, Lad McConkey at 11.79 fantasy points. Let me see what he's at comparison to Quentin Johnston this year. Lad had that nice receiving touchdown this past week against Dallas, but at the same time, I mean, this dude literally from a points per game perspective is the wide receiver 37. And the matchup this week against Houston, obviously the Texans have one of the best defenses in the league.
Going over to Odell Beckham Jr. This dude's a turd. I mean, the first five games on an absolute tear. Since then, he has been a top 30 wide receiver once. Week six onwards.
Deebo Samuel has also been a turd. Deebo Samuel after week five has had one game where he's finished as the top 24 wide receiver. Matchup against Dallas is good though.
Jordan Addison is with the third-string quarterback. Honestly, another instance where I'm going to have to make an adjustment after this video. We're going to have to move Josh Downs and Jordan Addison down to the below tier because I'd rather have Michael Pittman Jr. over both.
Going over to Chris Godwin, every target Godwin had this past week in the Bucs game, it was just like a bubble screen essentially. It was just get him the ball close to the line of scrimmage. I mean, from what I saw, not really asking Chris Godwin to run real routes. You can kind of see this 5.8 yards per target is by far and away a career low for Chris Godwin. 1.22 yards per route run is also by far and away a career low as well.
Alec Pierce looked like a straight-up dude this past week with Philip Rivers against the Niners where he had two receiving touchdowns, but also he only had four targets. Right, you are going to be looking at a boom or bust, a touchdown or bust option with Philip Rivers as his quarterback.
Adonai Mitchell's giving you consistent target volume. He's had at least six targets in every single game since he's really been a Jet. Like since that game against New England in week 11. He's had a couple blow-up contests mixed into those. Um, difficult thing is the New York Jets project to be the second lowest scoring offense in the league. I believe only the Chiefs project out worse.
Cole Kmet, I, in that Josh Allen screwed me last week obviously in the Flock League. That underdog team that's right now the expected value of it's worth 64,000 that we have in the big dog final. It can win 200,000 if it gets first place. It has Josh Allen. So Allen, I'm hoping you play and I hope you play well. But even if he does, that doesn't guarantee that Cole Kmet does anything. It's in a tough matchup against Philly.
Trey Tucker is a sneaky play. Trey Tucker has been a turd, right? Trey Tucker gave you that one blow-up week where he scored 41 fantasy points and then after that he has had one game as a top 24 receiver. But at the same time, you have no Dallas Goedert, you have no Jakobi Meyers, and you get to play against the Giants where the Raiders actually project to score 20 points. So, there's a very real shot that Trey Tucker is actually a sneaky start.
Going over to Quentin Johnston. Um, I have Quentin Johnston on that team that's worth about 64K right now and can win 200,000. So, you better believe this is my guy. This is who I'm rooting for. And oh my gosh, I got one thing. Please, in the comment section, let me go to my Twitter real quick. This is I know we're going off the rails, but Santa comes in two hours. I'm allowed to say whatever I want in this video. One of y'all, I have no idea who the hell did this, and somebody better let me know, took a screenshot of this tweet with Quentin Johnston in it, of course, and mailed it to my home in a poster, framed for my fiance to open and send it to me and scare the crap out of her like two days ago. So, whoever sent that to us, you got somebody tell me, okay, because I'm honestly a little bit creeped out, but I'm hoping Quentin Johnston does something. He helped us out this past week, but it was a good matchup against Dallas. He had over a 100 receiving yards, but at the same time, he only played 59% of the snaps. Like, Tre Tucker is actually getting out there, which is pissing me the hell off. I'll tell you that much.
And then I just threw in a bunch of these random Packers receivers. I don't know what Packers wide receivers are healthy. I don't know if we are going to get Jordan Love playing in this game or not. So, it's impossible to rank the Packers receivers here against Baltimore to be honest with you.
Now, moving over to the F tier guys, um I would rather not play these guys if we could avoid it. Troy Franklin's been playing way less than he did earlier in the year, seeing way fewer targets as well.
Keenan Allen, I am really seeing no upside whatsoever. I mean, if you go through it, if you look at what Keenan's done in the second half of the year, like he has finished as a top 24 wide receiver or he's finished as a top 30 wide receiver once after week three. Like, there's no upside since Gadston has broken out.
Xavier Worthy, it doesn't matter that Rashee Rice has done for the year. Like, there's no upside here whatsoever. The Chiefs project to be by far and away the worst offense in the league. No interest in Xavier Worthy.
If you're playing Jaylen Coker, in my opinion, you're just getting cute with it. I don't know why you would try to go that try-hard in a tough matchup against Seattle.
Jaden Higgins looked like he was going to flash and do something, but since then he's fallen flat on his face. A total of 21 receiving yards over the past two weeks.
Shaheed, a good punt returner but from a receiving perspective not giving you any volume.
Josh Downs, the wide receiver three for Philip Rivers, but did have a surprising amount of volume this past week. The issue is 1.47 yards per route run by far and away a career low and six yards per target. Also very much a career low.
John Metchie is the wide receiver two for the New York Jets. Not much interest, but he is seeing targets.
And Demario Davis is the wide receiver two for the New Orleans Saints. So, not much interest, but he is seeing a decent amount of targets.
Now, I think that's all we're going to have. Like I said, I noticed a couple things as we went through this live stream that I need to adjust, and I'm going to do that on the site right now. Again, normally when I see a couple of these rankings off, I can just go ahead and do that before y'all even see the video because they are edited, but I very much wanted to give everybody that is associated with flockfantasy.com the week off because I know it's the championship week for everybody. But at the same time, it is Christmas. It is the holidays and I didn't want to be the Grinch. I didn't want to have a tiny little frozen heart. I wanted to be nice. So, I'm sorry the video wasn't edited and out as early as y'all would like. Again, I salute you. Let me fix these rankings on the site. Um, just tweak them a little bit where we talked about in this stream and then I will also get the live stream set up for us to go over the running back rankings and possibly the quarterback and tight end ones. I need to see if the editor made a thumbnail for that.
