Charlie Kirk Exposed: Why His Religious Influence is Misleading Many

Real Talk with Jordan Riley16:49

Transcription

Many of you have heard of and probably follow Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA. When it comes to politics, he's fairly sound in his beliefs. But this man who has millions of followers is way off when it comes to religion. And if you spend the next 15 minutes with me, you're going to see that it may be time to rethink Charlie Kirk. So, are you ready? Let's go.

Well, thanks for joining me today on Real Talk as we look at political activist and media personality Charlie Kirk. See, if Charlie Kirk would just stick to politics, we wouldn't be doing an episode on him. But sadly, he has expanded his reach and now has included religion. That is TPUSA faith. And when it comes to matters of faith, Charlie is way off in the ditch, and you need to see why.

But before we get into this episode, please consider subscribing to our channel, giving this a thumbs up, and if you would, go to realtalkwithjordan.org where you can get helpful links, submit your prayer requests, ask me questions, and donate to our ministry.

So, when you think of Charlie Kirk, what comes to mind? Hm.

>> Well, so are you asking you're asking two separate things. If they if they knew for certain to be more clear that I have a fertilized egg and I'm going to take a drug to prevent that fertilized egg from attaching to their uterine wall, then yes, that is an act of killing or murder. Of course,

>> well, more than likely it's his public debates at college campuses or his political speeches, but he is rapidly trying to become someone who is known for his religious views. And I need to say this upfront, but some of his religious views are not that bad. But as you will see, a lot of them are pure nonsense like this one.

>> I mean, look, I love Catholics. You know, as people know, I'm very close to even my local Catholic priest, Father Klein, great guy. My wife was baptized Catholic. But I have some big disagreements with Catholicism. And the first of which would be marology. But let me first say, I think we as Protestants and Ev evangelicals under venerate Mary. She was very important. She was a vessel for our Lord and Savior. I think that we as evangelicals and Protestants, we've overcorrected. We don't talk about Mary enough. We don't venerate her enough. Mary was clearly important to early Christians. There's something there. In fact, I believe one of the ways that we fix toxic feminism in America is Mary is the solution. Have more young ladies be pious, be reverent, to be full of faith, slow to anger, slow to words at times. Mary is a phenomenal example and I think a counter to so much of the toxicity of feminism in the modern era.

>> What on earth did I just hear? I mean, think about this a second. So Mary is the solution and we don't venerate Mary enough. And Mary was so important. And Mary is the example that women should follow. That is a huge said no verse ever. See, anytime we ascribe something that belongs to God to someone else, it's called idolatry. The Bible nowhere instructs us to revere, pray to, rely on, or idolize anyone but the Lord. And see, only God is worthy to receive glory and honor and power. That's Revelation 4:11. We also see in Acts 14:11-18 that Paul and Barnabas were mistaken for Zeus and Hermes and were offered sacrifices, but they quickly corrected the people stating that they were merely messengers of God. So no, and you need to hear me correctly. No, Mary is not the solution to feminism. The gospel is. And no, Mary is not the example that women should be following. Jesus is. And no, we do not need to venerate Mary at all. Hebrews 12:2 says that we are to fix our eyes on Jesus, not Mary. Sadly, Charlie Kirk has his emphasis on the wrong person.

And did you notice how Charlie said that he loved Catholics and especially his local Catholic priest and he named him? I couldn't even tell you who my local Catholic priest is. He even said that his wife was baptized Catholic. Does this not strike you as wrong in any way? Come on, you guys. But watch what he says at the end of this clip.

Again, we're also here on the Charlie Kirk show. We're very ecumenical. I just want to say again, Catholics are just fabulous in so many different ways. They fight for life. They fight for marriage. They fight against transgenderism.

So, Charlie Kirk just admitted that his show is ecumenical. And for those of you who don't know, that is not a good thing. What this means that he is trying to promote unity among the world's Christian churches. Again, this might seem nice on the outside, but when you take a deeper look at Charlie and what he thinks a Christian actually is, it should cause you a lot of concern because he is very deceived.

Joining us now is Jensen Franklin. long overdue.

>> I'm so glad to be here.

>> Welcome to the program, man. And uh just introduce yourself to the audience. You are one of the most influential pastors in the country.

>> Well, I don't know about that, but I I uh pastor a church called Free Chapel. We are primarily in the state of Georgia, but we have campus in South Carolina, campus in California, and um and all over Georgia.

>> Yeah. And I I watch you almost every Sunday on Real America's Voice.

>> Well, I'm very honored. Thank you. And and you you have a real gift, and um praise God.

So, what you just saw is not only a huge problem biblically, but it is a huge problem personally for Charlie Kirk. So, he was with false teacher Jensen Franklin, and you heard how much Charlie adores him and affirms him and says he watches his program every week and thinks he's one of America's most influential pastors.

>> What? Give me a break. This is proof right there that Charlie Kirk has no discernment. See, Jensen Franklin is a prosperity pimp who is best friends with Paula White. And I've proven that on a recent episode that you can go watch when you get a chance. Jensen Franklin also loves and promotes Day Star and TBN, which is the total blasphemy network. Yet, Charlie Kirk thinks he's just great, and he loves to do tons of stuff with him, even saying that it was God's plan to put them together.

>> Dash to your church out in California. Um, I think God has a plan and I think we were meant to kind of intersect for this year. So, God bless you, Jen. Great message last evening.

Now, I want to be very clear that Charlie Kirk is a smart guy and he has a ton of head knowledge about a lot of things, but when it comes to obeying God's word, no, not at all. The Bible is clear that we are forbidden to team up with false teachers or affirm evil. Yet, Charlie does this on a regular basis. And you can see this in these screenshots. Here he is with one of his good buddies and someone he loves to endorse and promote. And that is Shawn Floyd who is a charismatic con artist out of Bethel Church in Redding, California, and is now in a lot of hot water due to his actions and how he treats people and is only about money.

>> When we were thinking about who to have here tonight, um he's just spectacular. Many of you have seen his movement and it's a real movement. So during the lockdowns, uh, there were people that decided to just kind of stay at home and do nothing. This church opened up as and was courageous and bold. But this man started a movement.

>> You sure about that?

>> Now, I know you're going to get kind of confused when he comes up on stage. Some of you that don't know him, he looks like a liberal. I give him a hard time all the time. He's got long hair. He looks like a 1960s hippie. He's got But it's okay. We'll give him a hall pass. Um, I'm totally kidding. But he went around the country and in these open air revival that brought thousands of people to the Lord.

>> No,

>> in the midst of the lockdown and I started to get these messages from people and they said, "Charlie, you got to look at the Shawn Fo guy." So I endorsed Shawn back personally when he ran for Congress in California and I was so moved by his story and I started to see Shawn attract crowds of thousands and then tens of thousands and then I saw the opposition. I saw all of a sudden local governments try to lock him down. I saw the satanic response to what Shawn was doing when everyone was supposed to stay at home. He was bringing people into the streets to go glorify the Lord. And Sean, you know, he'll do a better job than I will of actually talking about how this is not a political thing at all. It's about glorifying God. But guess what? politics actually started to involve himself in his ministry because you had secular politicians that say, "Hey, you can go protest in a BLM rally, but if you're coming to go glorify God, you're not allowed to do that." And he was the the tour that he put on in the last year and a half. you should. It's unbeliev one of the most ambitious and one of the and I'll say this I I will put him up against anybody and I'm by no means know everybody in the space but I don't think anybody worked as hard and did more effective open air revivals in as many cities as Sean Fo did in the last two years and it's a great honor to have him here tonight. Sean get on up here. See you see the hair.

self.

>> Or how about how Charlie loves and affirms and works with Lance Wallnau who is a false prophet and is part of the NR and has made false prophecies in the past. Okay, welcome back everybody. Uh we are at the TPUSA Faith Pastors Summit. You can learn more at tpfaith.com. 1,100 pastors from across the country are here and a perfect guest to join us for the entire hour. Someone that I have known for years and he is one of the most important voices in American Christianity.

>> How about new?

>> Lance Wallnau. Check out his podcast, The Lance Wall- Now Show. I check it on Real America's Voice on the weekend. It is excellent and honored to have him with us for the full hour. Lance, how you doing? Welcome to the program.

>> I'm doing well. And how exciting to hear you have,00 pastors. Charlie, how is that different than when you started years ago trying to get churches to get interested in the future of America and conservative youth?

Now, here's a picture of his up-and-coming believer summit. And it's literally a who's who of false teachers and false converts. But he's sprinkled in a few semi-solid ones because he wants to be ecumenical. Oh boy.

See, the problem with this is that most people who watch Charlie for his political views will agree with most everything he says as he is a Republican and stands for America and he's against abortion and is a conservative. But that's how he gets his hook into people. He leads with politics and then he introduces religion into the mix and before you know it, you are going along with it and approve of the people that he affirms. And please understand, he platforms a ton of false teachers, a ton of evil. And this is very deceptive and very dangerous. And most people don't even realize it's happening. You can see right here how he affirms false teachers like Matthew Barnett and his father or Mark Driscoll, Jack Hibbs, Jack Graham, Bryce Crawford, Ross Johnson, Steuart and Cliff Kley, and Nicholas Bowling, which are all false teachers.

See, I believe this is an absolute result of people not knowing God's word. Because when you do not know the Bible, you will not realize when it is being twisted or taken out of context. And yes, Charlie does say some nice things, but he mixes in a lot of error. And this is absolutely dangerous. And lately, he's been on a huge kick about revival and how revival is happening in America. Please do not believe this nonsense. First of all, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 proves him wrong. Literally, things are not getting better. We're not going to experience revival. It's going to get worse and worse, more dangerous, and more dark as it gets closer to Jesus's return. But second of all, like we've already shown, he doesn't know what true Christianity actually is.

This weekend, uh, we covered the story on Fox and Friends weekend. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are coming to Jesus in massive numbers. They don't want fluff. They don't want a watered-down gospel. They want tough, honest truth. One of the reasons I think this is happening is that young people have father hunger. Many Gen Z men especially were raised in homes without strong fathers or any dads at all. The church has a vision and has a reality of a loving yet authoritative father. This is such an important point. Father hunger is one of the reasons why even though God the father could be quote unquote gendered either way is described as a father. No, people are not coming to Jesus in record numbers. This is absolutely not the truth. And second of all, God is not gendered both male and female. What?

But again, if you listen to Charlie long enough, you'll think that everything is getting better and the world is experiencing revival and everyone's coming to Jesus and that we all need to hold hands and sing kumbaya. I'm sorry, but I am not buying what he's selling. Charlie Kirk needs to stick to politics.

But I want to end with a video that I saw recently that shows arrogance and pride in this man. And I believe it's absolutely not of Christ. And trust me, there are several ones out here because this man really does have a temper when he goes and has debates and has these political speeches everywhere. So I want you to watch this.

>> Okay? You're trying to attack me, which is ridiculous. Like asking me what my salary is. Sure, I'll reveal it willingly.

>> You brought it up in context. I'm asking why don't you live like a socialist? Go live like a socialist.

>> Larger. The point is larger than that, Charlie.

>> I live like a capitalist every single day, chank. I live as a capitalist. Okay. I live what I believe.

>> No. No. No.

>> What do I do? I get charity every single year.

>> Hold on. Hold on.

>> My salary less than Jake. Let's go.

>> What are you doing? Sit.

>> Take a seat. Take a seat.

>> Psycho.

>> All right. No. No. Take a seat. You're going to take a seat.

>> You're going to take a seat over here.

>> Oh my god.

>> What's my salary?

>> All right.

>> Oh, ridiculous. All right. Behave, everyone.

in Jesus Christ.

>> Okay.

>> I practice what I preach.

>> Charlie, stop.

>> You do not practice what you preach.

>> Charlie. Charlie.

>> All right. Hold on. Last point. Last point.

So really, when you look at that video, all you see is arrogance, pride, and anger. Now, compare that with what God's word says. Galatians 5:19-21 says, "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." See, when you look at Charlie Kirk, you'll realize that he is full of pride and arrogance and anger, and he lacks any true humility. And he seems to be more about his political agenda and building his empire than anything else. Also, his salary is estimated between $4 and $5 million a year. So, you need to ask yourself, is Charlie doing this for Christ or is he doing this for cash? Now, I know most of you will say that you realize he's not a pastor. So, who cares about his religious views? But you should care because he is going against God's word and he is leading a lot of people away from the truth.
