There was this kidney issue and surrogacy was not a fashion then. If it was, we didn't have that much money. We were still settling, we were still struggling. And then we tried, and at one point the doctor said, Ashwini, literally like they say in movies, that your kidney will not be able to take the load, so you will either harm yourself or the child. And then later on he said no. So surrogacy didn't happen. And after that time, there's an age that comes where you don't have the stamina. As a woman, your body is not mentally or physically active enough to run after that small child. I couldn't have it. It's a matter of my fate, isn't it? It feels bad because as a woman, I am traditional in that way, that I want to live the whole circle. It didn't happen. Maybe it was something else. Maybe I had to serve my in-laws, my parents-in-law, and they are our children, so I am doing that.
