As soon as you leave the body, you feel this massive expansion and you feel this energy that I have not had anything on the earth plane to be able to describe it or to share it with you so that you could understand what I experienced. But with the weak words that I have, I'll I'll use these to help you try and understand.

These experiences have been profound love. They have been profound insights. They have not been scary. They have not been negative. They have been absolutely beautiful and they changed everything about what I thought I know. I think it's the actual experience of knowing beyond faith, beyond a reasonable doubt that you are not this human having this human experience. You are so much more than that. So even if I had only had that one experience and I felt that expansiveness and come back down, you can't fear death anymore after that because you know that there is no death. Death death doesn't mean that you disappear. It just is a transition to a different state of consciousness. And then that love that we feel is what we actually are on the other side.

This is Beyond with Heather Tash, where we examine near-death experiences and life itself, hopefully making this life a little better. Hello everybody. Welcome and hello to my guest Lori Micah.

Hi Heather. It's so good to be with you today.

I am thrilled to have you on. You are a fellow podcaster and you're also a friend and I'm so grateful. Oh, I'm so grateful that we had the opportunity to meet at a NION's conference and I just love talking to you. So, I know my audience is going to love this as well. Now, you've had your own amazing experiences and that's what we're going to talk about today. And one of those was discovering how to have your own NDE-like experiences. And you're going to tell us how. But first, I want to hear about the signs that you had with someone special in your life.

Yeah. So, I would say my spiritual journey probably began at the age of 30. But then in my mid to late 30s, I met this man who was the deepest, most spiritual person that I had ever encountered. and we spent hundreds of hours on the phone talking and talking about these very deep topics and he exposed me to things that I had never been exposed to before and I like to say that he was my greatest spiritual teacher and we were in this on again off again relationship. the timing just wasn't great for us and we ended things and we did talk for three years and one day I was walking at the ponds and I had this thought that he died and it didn't make sense because he was 46 and healthy as far as I knew he was the lead guitarist of the band Starship if you remember all of those 80s hits and even going back into the 70s when they were Jefferson Starship but you know he toured with Mickey Thomas for 14 years all the built we built the city, Sarah Jane, No Way Out. Like everybody who's our age would know of this band, but he was this deep deep uh musician, a Pisces, and um he just was healthy and and great as far as I knew. I didn't follow his whereabouts at that time. And so I pushed that thought away. And then an hour later, I had a second thought that he had died and his bandmates were going to contact me. That did not happen. But about two hours later, when my dad had gone into work that morning, he saw a ticker go across his computer on CNN that said that Mark had had a heart attack and died after stepping off the stage at a concert in Nebraska. And my dad and my mom were ultimately the ones who delivered the news to me. And I was absolutely devastated by this news. I had no idea something like this could hit me this hard. We hadn't spoken for three years. And even though I was spiritual and I believed in things like signs, when they started happening to me, I was like, "Wait a minute. We didn't talk for 3 years. Like, why would he still even care about me? Would he still want to connect with me?" But the signs, Heather, were so undeniable, I could not brush them off as coincidence. And the very first one that was super significant was that 2 days after he died, I got in my car and my car screen was on XM radio and the screen said Jefferson Airplane with your love, but no sound was coming out of the radio. And I turned it all the way up, no sound. And I was really puzzled by it. I was also tickled and delighted by it. But I was in this battle with my left brain and my right brain. Like I'm left brain super skeptical. Prove it to me. I work in technology. I work for companies like IBM and HP and do these really technical jobs. But at the same time, like I'm an artist and I've painted all these paintings and I have this super creative side to me. But I was in this battle like is this real? Is this not real? And so I got brave and I started pushing upper buttons on the radio and I would change it to the AM and the sound came to life and just about blasted me out of my car cuz I turned the volume up so high but the screen still stayed frozen with Jefferson Airplane with your love. I could do that with any radio station. It would play whatever was playing that was frozen. So now I'm convinced that okay, maybe there's a glitch in the XM radio system. So, I called customer service and they offered to reset my radio and I'm having this battle with myself like, "Do it, do it. Prove it." And I'm like, "No, don't let it go away." And ultimately, my logical side won. And I said, "Go ahead and reset the radio." And he said, "Okay, it'll reset and it'll be gone in 5 minutes." But it wasn't. And I turned my car on and off three times that day and it still stayed frozen. And then I had driven to lunch to one of my closest friends, my friend who had attended every concert that I'd ever seen Mark play in. And I had her come outside and she looked at the radio and she said, "Hi, Mark." And then we went inside. We had lunch and it was gone. And Heather, when this happened to me, I knew I needed to document it. I felt super compelled. Even though it was like one of those signs that you hear me talking about this, this happened in 2012. I can remember this as if this happened yesterday, but I've also told the story a lot of times, but I wrote it down immediately. I I bought a special notebook and I wrote it down. And then the signs really began to come in and I began to notice them. Some of them were song related. Some of them were related to electronics. Something would happen. Uh I would see a picture of him would randomly come up. Songs would play in stores. I would get feathers. I would just all kinds of different signs would happen. And I documented every one of them because I did not want to misremember them. And then when I got to the end of the 2-year anniversary of his death, the sign on the 2-year anniversary filled that notebook and it was filled. And about a month later, he came to me in a dream and told me he was most proud of our story. And then this book began to write itself. And the book was a two-part book. The first part was about the love story that we had and what we went through and why these different songs would have an importance later on as signs. And then the second part was a documentation of the signs that I received in the first two years and while writing the book. Um, what was ironic about this book is that I named every chapter after a song title. I would be I was working for IBM at the time or HP, whatever. Yeah, I think it was HP. and I was traveling and I would go to Cincinnati and I would park my rental car and get out in the parking garage and the name of the song that the title was that I was currently working on would play in the overhead speaker in the parking garage. Like crazy coincidences that you just can't make up. And so I wrote this book because I wanted to help other people because when somebody is lost in your life who is really important to you and you want to connect with them, you often don't know how if you've never had these experiences before. And although sometimes experiences that you're hearing from other people can feel far-fetched, when they happen to you in a significance for you, they feel very very real. They feel different. And that's why I always say my signs and synchronicities confirm your signs and synchronicities. But by reading the book, you can extrapolate the information to see how the signs work for me. And you can apply that to your own relationship to see how signs might work for you. And in that way, we all help each other because I really believe and it's definitely been confirmed to me over and over again that you are never alone and your passed away loved ones are always with you. They hear every single thing you ever said to them. There's nothing for them that's left unsaid now. And they love you and they want you to know that they are around. So signs are just such a special gift that we get from the other side. And I sell my book for $11.11 because it's not about ever making money. I spent 2 and 1/2 years getting all the song permissions because when you use a lyric in a song, you have to pay for it. And I spent $10,000 getting all of those song permissions. Not because I ever wanted to do anything with the book other than to record this in a way that was authentic and real and share it with everybody else so they can do something with it. And I really hardly ever talk about the book. Like I have my own YouTube channel. I I probably can count on one hand how many times I've ever brought my book up. I just don't really talk about it. So thank you, Heather, because I haven't I don't think I've really talked about my book very much for like a year since I was on Coast to Coast Radio.

What you said about, you know, when you see your signs and then you share it, then it really validates other people and what they've seen. I love that because that really is so true.

Yeah. I think so too. And I've it's been a I've been a witness to this for many many years now.

Well, in addition to that amazing story, you also have discovered a way to have your own spiritual experiences. They're very near-death experience-like. And before we start though, I just want to tell the audience we are not advocating for this. uh we are simply sharing Lori's experiences and just, you know, her personal story but please step us through how you have these experiences.

Okay. So I explained already that I'm very left-brained and I'm also pretty good rule follower and we grew up in the days of this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs. Any questions? Right. So for my entire life, I had never dabbled in anything. I had not smoked pot. I never tried a cigarette. Like this was a very taboo thing for me. I had rules against this kind of stuff. But in 2017, I was dating a man who had served in Desert Storm and he suffered from PTSD. and he found a like a seminar at a college where these two husband and wife couple were doing a testimony on how they had been over able to overcome their PTSD and they used a plant medicine called Ayahuasca. So the active ingredient in Ayahuasca is DMT, dimethyltryptamine, and it is the most powerful psychedelic on the planet. And so he sought out a a shaman because you do this very intentionally. These are spiritual journeys. I don't think that these medicines are meant to be used recreationally or for fun. They come with a lot of work. Not only when you have the experience, but then after you have the experience, much like all of your audience is listening who listens to NDEs, you hear about these NDEs taking years to integrate these experiences into their lives. So this is a massive undertaking and he decided to try it and he had an incredible experience with Ayahuasca. Now, I was never personally drawn to that. And that's the thing about these medicines, like Heather said, they're they're done with great intention, and I think that they either have a calling or they don't for you. And I never had felt any calling for Ayahuasca. But I did try psilocybin and I had a very unique consciousness experience with that uh plant-based medicine. and when he had an experience with a substance called 5-MeO-DMT. You might have heard of it as BUFO. It is the short-acting version of the Ayahuasca DMT. And it allows you to have a very quick experience and I decided as soon as he talked about it, I knew that I wanted to do it, but it came with much research for me. So, I read several books about these different medicines and my favorite one is the God Molecule written by Dr. Rick Strassman where he studied DMT in the synthetic version in a hospital setting for 25 years. And what was really interesting is much like the NDE community when people would have these experiences, they would come back and they would say, "Okay, no matter what I've been told, I know that I survive my body. I know that I am not the body that I am having experience in the body. I have no fear of death anymore. And they feel this great love and peace just like the NDE users do on the other side. And so I sought this out and I used the shaman and I had my first experience in I think 2018 with this. So, I've been working with this medicine for a long time and I have since then done 24 journeys. Sometimes I do one at a time. There have been times earlier on where I would do two or three at a time, but these had a great impact on my belief system because your experiences allow you to have something that nobody can take away. It doesn't matter what anybody says to you. The most difficult part about having these experiences isn't even the integration. It is the inability in our lack of words to be able to describe them in a way that somebody could really truly understand, which probably sounds to you a lot like what the NDEs say is that they have these experiences with another being or with this love or with uh God or consciousness and they're in a realm and they just don't have the words. It's more vivid. But I will say much like what NDEers say, these experiences have been profound love. They have been profound insights. They have not been scary. They have not been negative. They have been absolutely beautiful. And they've changed everything about what I thought I know. And the more I do them, the the less I really understand and the more I feel like I don't know. So, if that makes any sense.

Yes. The more I learn, it just opens up so many possibilities and I realize, you know, there's so much I will never know and we're just getting a little glimpse of it.

Exactly. And everybody's little glimpse is kind of a little piece of the puzzle. And I feel like when you hear experiences like this or NDEs or any other experience, you need to check in with your heart and see how it feels. When they resonate, take it in, explore it, think about it. But if they don't resonate, push it away. It's not for you. Maybe it's just not for you now. Maybe it will never be for you. But only take in what resonates with you. I think that that's really important.

Can you tell us about some of the experiences you had and and you know what you saw or experienced during it?

Okay. I'm going to divide these into three categories of experiences for me. the first 10 experiences, the middle one experience on the winter solstice of 2020, and then the last 13 experiences. So, I'm going to I'm going to start and do them that way because they are a little bit similar in their grouping. So in those earlier experiences in the first 10 what would happen is that you I would inhale this this this medicine and then within 10 seconds I would start to see what I call the last mimsy effect. I would see a gridlike pattern all in front of me. And it felt like this was a matrix. This was just a concocted reality and it wasn't real. And as soon as I would leave this experience, my body would lay down and my body is completely still for 20 minutes. My shaman watches over me. She's playing music, whatever she's doing. But I'm not there. I am on the other side. I think that we have a cord. You've heard people talk about a silver cord, a tether. And I think that as long as that is attached, you're still alive. If it's attached to your body, you can come back to your body. But I know we said NDE-like experiences, but my experiences I've talked to I don't know maybe 20 people out of 400 that have had experiences like I have. My experiences are not human at all. There's nothing that's human about them. So when you hear NDEs talk about they go to a heavenly realm and they see beautiful green grass and the grass is alive and the flowers are alive and they'll see Jesus or a spirit guide but they have a human form to them. When I left my body and had these initial 10 experiences, I would have experience of what I would call as my higher self. And my higher self didn't have a human form. And so as soon as you leave the body, you feel this massive expansion and you feel this energy that I have not had anything on the earth plane to be able to describe it or to share it with you so that you could understand what I experienced. But with the weak words that I have, I'll I'll use these to help you try and understand. Take the power of a jackhammer. Okay? because that's about most powerful vibration I can think of, man-made, not like an earthquake. And take that jackhammer, but instead of making it the roughness where it would tear the concrete apart, make it like the smoothness of a hummingbird wing, but the power of that jackhammer. And then take that the most beautiful single note that you have ever heard and stretch it out into infinity in all directions. And that's the feeling that I had as my higher self. My ego is dissolved. I have no identity with Lori. And you've heard NDErs talk about this. They rise above their body and they're confused. They can't tell who is laying in the bed. They don't know. They don't have an attachment to that person, to that entity, to that consciousness anymore. It's much like that on the other side except I never physically look down and see any of the human realm. I am just immediately gone. I've been in different places. I could describe maybe the first five or six of those journeys as being in almost like a white room, a room of light that didn't have any boundaries. But my expansiveness would have made my body the size of maybe the Earth, not super small and a human. And when I would look down at myself, there was not a look like an arm. There was a grid pattern that had this iridescence to it in colors that I can't quite explain or that I don't really understand when I'm back in my human body. And it was just this magnificent feeling of love and peace. Like you're in a state of I'm going to call it the state of being is eternity. Like here we have linear time, right? And time goes like this. There time goes like this. And what eternity is is it's actually not a time constraint. It's a state of being. It's like time shoots out in every single direction. It doesn't have anywhere that it doesn't shoot out. And it's this ever-present moment that you are in. Now these journeys in the very beginning would be very very short. My body remember is laying there for 20 minutes and I am gone for 20 minutes of earth time. But for me some of these would feel like I was gone for a fraction of a second and immediately back in the body. But the very first one that I had Heather was such a crazy experience. So imagine that you are small and all of a sudden you're massively large and then you have to make yourself super small and cram into your body and it's almost like you're slammed back into your body and it's so jolting that as soon as I arrived back in my body I just started sobbing like sobbing at that experience of having been released and been free and having to kind of contract and come back in. And if I had stopped there, I don't know that I would have said that this experience would have been positive. But I think that we get what we need and not what we want. And as fate had it that day, the person who had signed up to have an experience after me had canceled. And my shaman told me that. And I heard my spirit guides talking to me as I'm coming back into the body and I'm crying at this state. And they were telling me, "Ask her if you can do it again." And I felt shy about doing that. Like it didn't feel for my human self like that was right that I should ask to do it again. But I listened. And she was like, "Sure, of course you can." "Oh, I can." And when I had that second experience, it was completely joyful. And I expanded and I was there for longer than a fraction of a second. Long enough to just understand and feel that love more fully. And when I came back into my body, I still had to make myself small to come back in, but I laughed hysterically. And it felt like the cosmic joke that we think that we're having this super serious human experience, but we're this infinite, loving, powerful, expansive being pretending to be Lori, pretending to be Heather, pretending to be every single one of you watching. And we're not that. We're just having a human experience. And most of us on the planet have forgotten that we are that. So the early experiences, those first 10 would be similar to that. I would be in a space. Sometimes it was felt more like a black space. Sometimes it felt more like a room. Sometimes I could feel another entity, like an energy being around me, but I didn't really communicate telepathically or otherwise with the being. I just felt the love that they were emanating. And then I did have one really unusual experience where I was with another being. I couldn't see them. They were just a a light being, an energy being, but they were showing me like in the darkness. It wasn't like you were in space. It's not like I'm seeing stars or nebula or planets, but it felt like a space type universal place. And they were showing me Earth. And Earth was really, really, really far away. And they were kind of explaining telepathically the levels of evolvement of the humans on the earth and that only about 20% of the humans on the earth had an understanding that they were not the earthly body that they were and they also communicated and I don't know how to explain how this was communicated but it was understood by me that the amount of my higher self the higher oversoul I had brought into the human incarnation would have been about the size of my pinky fingernail. A very very tiny amount. And I believed in the very beginning that that could have been because I as a higher soul was having multiple other experiences in other places and you didn't need very much of your energy to animate the human body and experience. And I've heard other NDEers talk about the more of yourself that you find is in your human body, the more evolved you are. But I don't really subscribe to that. That was not my experience. My experience was more like we are so powerful. We need so little like just a teaspoon of our higher self to have this human in this human incarnation.

It's so incredible. Anything else you want to add about journeys you've had? So that was the first like kind of that that first small grouping. The middle experience was really unusual. It was done on the winter solstice of 2020. And I think when you do these at certain times like if you looked at our ancestors and you look at sacred sites like I've visited Egypt and I've been in the pyramids everything revolves around the stars and alignment to them. So the winter solstice, the spring equinox, the vernal equinox are all really significant in those ancient cultures. So why I think that those are energy portals that allow us to open our consciousness and connect and have an experience. So many of my journeys have been on synchronistic numbers like 11:11 at 11:11 p.m. or a.m. when I couldn't have even thought that I would make it to the place I was going to have a journey in time to be in and journey during that 11:11 moment at that period of time or they've been on equinoxes or they've been on like 222 you know 22. So, I've used these different portal opportunities to expand the consciousness. Um, and it helped me have a bigger experience. In the winter solstice, I felt very drawn to do that. That was during COVID. So, we weren't really open to traveling very much. So, it was kind of unusual to be pulled and to do a journey like that. But, it wound up being this massive experience I had with source. And I was engulfed within source and I was shown or it was communicated to me that it was time to begin to do my work that I promised to come here to do as a soul. And I felt this what I will call excruciating ecstasy from the power of source. But I got a new glimpse of understanding that I didn't have before. And that was that there was nothing outside of this source being. So call it whatever you want. Universal consciousness, God, creator, energy, whatever you want to call it, doesn't matter. The name doesn't matter. I understood in that moment that everything in our experience, all 8 billion people on this planet, every rock, every plant, every animal, everything that you could conceive then see, and that would also include these ETs that people are talking about, the galaxy, the universe, right? All are within that source creator. And I believe it was as simple as some thoughts that created it. So that was kind of crazy. And then the last experiences that I've had, the last 13, have been very different than those first beginning ones. And they have been more consciousness opening experiences where I have experienced being something higher than my higher self. So I've had experiences of being the collective, which I've called the We. That was the name that was intuited to me when I was in that place. And then the last I don't know maybe five or six of them I have been the source energy. And I don't have words really to describe what this is. And when I say the words they sound utterly ridiculous even to me saying them. But I will say that the power of that source being would be like the power of a billion suns. And I don't mean in the strength of the light of a billion suns. I mean in the energy of it. It's like an undulation of energy that goes in every direction. Like we're thinking in and out, in and out. But in and out isn't the only way that things can move. And I don't have another way. I don't have the words to describe what that means. But the power of that source being is beyond comprehension. Because when I say the words a billion, my human brain doesn't really understand a billion. I've not seen a billion of anything. I really can't comprehend that. But I'm understating it when I say that the power of this being is just beyond anything that you could imagine. And I think what most people on earth think of when they think of as God, though, this would be the power of God. That's actually the power of you as your higher self. You're you don't in inside the human brain inside the human body have the ability to conceive of what you are able to conceive of when you expand and you're outside of the constraints of the human brain. And on the other side, there is no good, better, best. There would never be a soul that would say, "Oh, I'm so much more evolved." Or, "Oh, I'm so much better than everybody else." There is nothing like that. It just doesn't exist. It's just you are. But really, you are God looking out of God is looking out of the eyes of you having an experience of you. And it gets super complex when I go into the details of why I think this is and what I think this is. But what I want everybody to know is that you are this magnificent soul. You came here with a purpose. You are not trapped here. You came here with intention. You picked everything. Everything is happening for you and not to you. You're part of the collective. So what you do to another, you are literally doing to yourself. And you are so beautiful and you can create whatever you want in your life. And your thoughts are where it starts. And so if you're not seeing a life that is where you would say, "I'm in love with this life," then look at your thoughts. Figure out who you're surrounding yourself with and figure out how to make those changes so that you are attracting to yourself all those things that you want to have in your life, not keeping yourself attracted to the things that you don't want.

Fascinating experiences and obviously you've brought back a lot of wisdom. It's really interesting to hear and I'm very happy to know that they're all positive experiences while you were experiencing this. Were all of them filled with love?

Every single one of them. Every single one of them. And so I'll say this out loud. You can agree with me or or not. But in my personal experiences on the other side, there is nothing that you would call evil, bad, negative. It doesn't exist in that realm. It can exist in lower planes. And I know that there are people who have had NDEs. It's a very small percentage who have had what we would label as hellish experiences. But that's not in the realm that I was in in these experiences. I call that um movie two in the series of three three um trilogy movies, you know, where that plane is of existence. that there is nothing that can harm you. You're a soul made of energy and energy can neither be created nor destroyed. And so when you die and leave this earthly experience, you return to the collective. You return to the one. There is only one thing. But there is no devil. There is no only one way. Everybody goes to the same place. Everybody is completely loved. And because of how we've set this up, you are never alone. Like what I talked about with with Mark who died through your spirit guides on the other side, you have all this help because you came here to have certain experiences. That's why it's all happening for you and not to you because you chose what you wanted to experience. And everything, even the bad ones, will be like a stepping stone to get to the other experiences that you wanted to have for yourself. So there is really nothing bad, even though there's a perception of bad. And I'm not saying that there's not bad in the world. People are going through pain. People have a hard time. People have tremendous losses. I recognize that. I acknowledge that. I've experienced some of those. I'm not out of the realm of experiencing them. But your soul can't be harmed. So these things that you look at as negative, if they're all happening for you, there's a purpose behind them. And some of it is for the joy of the experience, experiencing what you are not because on the soul level, you're so powerful and beautiful and magnificent, there is nothing that could ever harm you.

So when people do have hellish experiences, do you think that they're creating that for themselves?

I haven't had a hellish hellish experience, so it's hard for me to describe that. I can just say from the NDE channel having interviewed over 400 people have had different experiences when people have an hellish NDE and Heather you could probably speak to this too because I'm sure you've talked to people as well many times they will have some kind of a recognition that oh wait a minute I can call on somebody and when they do they're instantly taken out of it and a lot of times when they come back from these NDEs and they take the years to integrate it. They realized that their limited beliefs about religion, about negativity, about how they felt about themselves, they felt that they were going to get what they deserved was what they experienced because we are these magnificent souls with the ability to create anything at the speed of thought on the other side. Now, we don't create at that speed of thought here in the human incarnation, but over years and years of telling yourself certain things, you absolutely can create things good or bad for yourself over time. And so, when somebody has a certain belief system and they die and they believe that something's going to happen, they've gone into a realm where they have the ability to create those things and it happens. And so, then they come back and they have this experience. But it's very few and far between. I think it's 6% of all NDEEs have a negative experience. And I don't want that number to be written in stone because I also have wondered if people are more embarrassed and less willing to share those experiences because they're traumatic. They feel like they're going to be ostracized. People might not believe them. It could be higher than 6% just because of that constraint of people not wanting to share them. But it's still a low percentage. Let's say it's 10. That means 90% of the people are having these extraordinary soul expansive loving experiences in many many different ways.

I want to ask you something just to really clarify this for the audience. Do you feel like this took place in your mind or do you think that you went somewhere else?

No. And I'll tell you why I don't think it happened in your mind. Um, if you think about what you know, when we have dreams, we have dreams about things that we know. Sometimes we don't understand them, but there are things that can be found in the earthly realm. When I've had these experiences, there is nothing that I could connect to to have created some type of an experience like this because there's nothing on earth that matches it. But the other thing that I know about the brain is that we have the pineal gland and they've studied this and Dr. Rick Strassman talks about this. The pineal gland produces DMT. So DMT is something that your own body creates. And in the studies they think that this is the mediator that allows the soul to enter the body when you're born for the soul to exit the body when you're born or to have this traumatic experience like a car accident. a surgery where you pop out of your body and have an NDE. They've physically measured DMT in the body during somebody's death time when when and it doesn't happen very often, but I have had guests who have had this measured. So, it's an increase of DMT in their body during that time when they were declared dead. So clinically and then they also believe that trace amounts of DMT is probably released in our brain when we're sleeping and this would account for things like astral travel which probably most of us do and just don't remember and don't bring those memories back or maybe they're blocked from us because they would ruin what we've created in the Earth game somehow. But I do think that this part one of the movie trilogy analogy where we're having this earth experience and then there's this heavenly realm where we have all these helpers, we have spirit guides, we have passed away loved ones, we have angels, guardian angels, all of these entities. And people will talk about planning their life and going in front of a council and saying, "I want to accomplish all this." And the council's like, "Put a couple of those back. You don't want that much that much uh trauma in this earth experience. But I think that we probably travel into that realm and have conversations with these close soulmates, with these spirit guides to help us navigate what we're doing because we're trying to accomplish something. We've come here with a purpose whether you understand it or not. And we need a lot of help to accomplish what we're trying to achieve in these experiences. And so that's why sometimes you'll hear people have an experience with the guardian angel where the guardian angel stopped their car from driving off of a cliff or took them out of an accident scene or took the wheel and in something while they were driving because if you were to exit at that point then it was going to negate some of the things that you decided to come here and experience. So yes. So the answer to your question is no. I do not think that my personal experiences happened for me within my mind. I think the only way I could have had those was to transcend the human mind and pop out of that. And that's why you feel that expansiveness. And I'm not saying that these medicines are the only way to do it. People have it. People have a practice of astral travel where they've been able to have these very profound out-of-body experiences. I think people can have them in deep meditative states. So, there are multiple ways I think to get here.

Lori, you've had a lot of experiences, but let's go back to when you've only had a couple. These experiences are fairly short. So, is it enough to be life-changing?

It's not about the time because you've talked to a lot of people had NDEs that have been short and they've come back. I think it's the actual experience of knowing beyond faith, beyond a reasonable doubt that you are not this human having this human experience. You are so much more than that. So even if I had only had that one experience and I felt that expansiveness and come back down, you can't fear death anymore after that because you know that there is no death. Death death doesn't mean that you disappear. it just is a transition to a different state of consciousness and then that love that we feel is what we actually are on the other side. So that those two things I think are the reason that people can have one experience even a tiny tiny short one and come back and it changes everything about what they knew before that experience for sure. I still remember when we had the conversation at the INS conference uh when you were first telling me this and you said that this is what helped you understand near-death experiences better.

I don't think that I would have done my channel and all if I hadn't had these experiences. I loved NDEs. I read Dr. Raymond Moody's books a long long long time ago and I had read multiple books in my searching after Mark died. to understand where he was and what happens after we leave the planet. But that wouldn't have been enough for me to start a YouTube channel. When I told you about the experience I had with source on the winter solstice of 2020, it was sternly communicated to me that it was time to begin doing what I promised to come here to do. And I didn't know what that meant. And when I came back out of that experience the next day, I got a download and I wrote it down. It was an outline that ultimately became these 63 videos called Uncover Your Soul's Purpose. What You Don't Know Is Holding You Back. And it starts with changing the perception of people to help them understand that they are these magnificent, eternal, infinite, loving beings and that this is an illusion. And so the first video was you picked it all. You sat down and you decided where you were going to live, what your body was going to look like, what ailments you were going to have, whether you're going to be male or female, and you picked your parents, because it's all those experiences that contribute to you becoming who you want to be. And only through becoming who you wanted to be could you have these experiences, this list that you bring with you that says, I want to try this and this and this and this. So, you have to have a certain setup in order for you to be able to have any of those experiences and you picked it all. And I think a lot of times most people feel that they didn't have any power. They didn't pick this and it's not true. So, I set out to record these videos and I wanted to help people understand that. And I was going to sell them as a course and through a whole series of synchronicities, it didn't work out. And my son one day said, "Mom, you put a couple of videos on your YouTube channel. Why don't you just release them there?" So I did. Day by day for 63 days, I released these videos and they started to get some engagement. And then when I was done, it was like, "Well, now what do I do?" You know, I've started to build this audience. Well, my sister had had a near-death experience, and I had a couple of other people I knew who had had near-death experiences. So, this is like four years ago. I just started interviewing people and then it just really morphed and I felt very called to keep doing it and here we are like 400 interviews later. So I feel like my purpose is to help people to understand the power of who they are that you're this beautiful powerful soul. But really now that I've had all of these journeys my purpose is a little bit more simple than that. All I'm really doing is taking the love that we are on the other side and I'm anchoring it somehow in my physical body so that when somebody watches a video, when they hear this, they somehow recognize the love that they are. And whether they're consciously aware of it or not, they can take that love and pull it into their life to create whatever they're trying to do to make their life better or to wake up the collective. And so in that way, it's super simple. All we are is love and we're helping every other soul on this planet to remember that they are love and to wake up to that remembrance.

Peter Panagor is a very well-known near-death experiencer. He had just such a beautiful and in-depth near-death experience. And I'll put a link to his, by the way, in the description for any of you that want to listen. But one thing he said was he had a choice on how to come back. And he said, "I don't want to come back where I'm so changed by this experience that I can't relate to other people." He said, "I want to come back and be able to still drink a beer at the bar with a lot of people." And you had an experience where you didn't want to go any farther at one point because you knew you'd come back maybe a bit too woo woo. Can you share that with us?

That was the experience on the winter solstice. And when I was in that experience of excruciating ecstasy, I actually thought as I was coming out of it that I might have gone too far and it might have ruined the experience, like ruined my human experience. But what I've found is that these experiences have actually elevated my human experience because through the knowledge that I've had to integrate into my life, you start to do things differently. You start to judge less. You start to be in more of a state of gratitude. you don't get mad as often because when you have this understanding that everything is happening for you and not to you, it changes how you react to things. Now, I'm still human. Somebody's going to cut me off on the highway and I'm probably going to swear at them. I'm never going to flip anybody off, but I might get mad at things like that, but it's been

demonstrated over and over and over again that we have everything happening for us and things are unfolding perfectly. So uh I try to live a very normal life but in a very unusual way. So what I mean by that is I don't subject myself to things that don't help me keep a higher vibration. So I don't watch any news. I don't follow any politics. I have YouTube premium so I don't have to listen to any commercials. I have XM radio so I don't ever have to be subjected to political commercials. And if something happens in the world, people around me know that I don't watch the news. They'll tell me that something happened, but I don't need the detail of all of that. And then I get to choose what this experience is.

I spend a great deal of time in nature so that I can reconnect to that. And I have normal interaction just like anybody else. I love to drink a beer. I love to socialize with friends. I have a full-time corporate job. So, I have to navigate all of this woo woo information and knowledge that I have in these belief systems that most people on the planet probably don't subscribe to. And I still have to be this super technical corporate persona and have that that corporate job.

But I want to go back to your what you said about Peter Panagor because like you Heather that NDE super affected me and I heard his NDE long before I ever started interviewing people and I was really lucky very early in my NDE interviewing that he came on my show and I read his book in advance and I was just so excited to talk to him. But I think what I love so much is his description. He said, "If you've ever looked at cable that has been connected together to make a larger cable rope, and if you cut it off and you took that blunt end and you looked at all those individual wires, that's what his choice of coming back into this incarnation looked like." And he said, "Imagine a million wire blunt points sticking out, but each one of them was a point of light." And the closer you got to the center of that cable, the brighter the light was. He felt like if he had gone into the middle, he would have had almost what would have been the highest pinnacle, the perfection that life could be. And like you said, he didn't want to ruin it for himself. Although he still did, he picked something slightly off center. And because God told him he was done with his life and he did not have to go back and it was not he was not being encouraged to go back. He begged to come back for his parents' sake because he knew that he would take the death of him after his sisterhood had had died too hard. And so he chose to come back. But when he did come back, he had to integrate that experience and all that knowledge. And he was depressed for years. and all he wanted was to return. And then he had a heart attack and had a second NDE. And when they asked him if he wanted to return, he still chose to come back to the Earth experience and not stay on the other side, even though for 20 years he had begged every day to go back. So, it's such an interesting He's I'm so glad you brought him up because he is such a dichotomy of an experience that is so profound and beyond any human comprehension, but then having to integrate this in such a way and thinking I want out and then when he was really given a choice not taking it. So, such a such a great NDE. Everybody should watch Heather's um interview with him. Definitely. And I think his sister disappeared or ran away is >> Yeah, maybe she ran away. I don't know if she died. You're right. She might not have died, but she was gone. And this he knew his parents couldn't take that. Another child, Missy. Gone. >> He's a beautiful person, too. Just, you know, being his friend. I know you know that as well. >> So lovely.

One thing that you talk about and so many other NDers talk about, and this is something I've been fascinated about all the way back to being a teenager, and I think it's really what ultimately opened the door to me being interested in near-death experiences, and that is our thoughts creating our reality. There are times I feel like I have been able to create things through not just my thoughts but really having that emotion behind them. >> I think that that's where the secret missed the mark. >> Do you remember the secret when it came out? What you think about you bring about and all you have to do is is think about it and believe it. But I think it's bigger than that and you hit on the exact thing Heather. It's the emotion. If you can tie in the emotion of what it feels like to have already accomplished that thing, it comes to you faster. You can bring it to you faster. But then remember when I said the more I understand, the less I understand. So people love to have the lottery example, right? So if I put enough emotion, there's a billion dollar lottery and I want the winning ticket. So, I'm gonna get the ticket and I'm gonna sit there and I'm gonna see myself as having won that, collecting that check, all of that. And you really and truly believe it. And then the lottery is drawn and you look at your ticket and you didn't even have a single number that matched. And then how do you feel about your ability to manifest and that your thoughts create things? You think it's and it doesn't work and it's not true. So what I want to say the caveat to all of this is I think that we can create our reality with a limitation as long as it doesn't violate something that we came here to experience. So, if you have certain experiences that the lottery would ruin for you and you would never be able to wake up to the power of who you were if you had a billion dollars, you're probably not going to ever win the lottery, no matter how many hours you spend trying to manifest that and putting that positive vibe and seeing yourself as if you already won it. So, not saying that you can't change things because remember I said in the in the sleep time we do release DMT and I think we go and we have conversations. I think you can change some of your soul contract that you came in, you wrote it. You decide on a soul level, okay, I thought I was going to do this and this. I don't want to do that anymore. I'm going to take that off and allows you to open up to do something else. So I think that the thought creation has a limitation of it can't violate something that you were trying to create in what you brought in in your soul contract. If that makes any sense.

>> It makes a lot of sense. And I think when we are creating things there are limits of of first of all what we can believe because I can think of the lottery numbers but I'm really in the back of my mind I'm going I I can't believe that. But I think that's very right that it has to be within our soul plan. And >> yeah, >> the other thing that we touched on is yeah, there's got to be emotion behind it. Like I'm really grateful that I have this and that has to be part of your thoughts as well. So it's all it's all very fascinating.

>> I know it's so deep like we're we've gone down many deep rabbit holes today, Heather, and there's probably just so much more that we just haven't uncovered yet. And that's why I love listening to these conversations. And Heather, thank you so much for having a show like this where you bring on these wonderful guests and you dig deep and you have these questions where people can try to discern, okay, what makes sense for me? What resonates about this conversation? What gold nugget can I pull out to implement into my own life to make my own life more joyful, more meaningful, more loving, more more happy, more fulfilling? So, it's all connected. Well, I love everything you've shared with us today. You've imparted a lot of wisdom on us. I know that people will want to check out your channel, uh, your book. Share some of the ways that people can connect with you.

>> Okay. So, my name is Lori Micah and I do have a YouTube channel under that name and it is spelled L A U R I E M A J K A. If you search, if you forget my last name, you can search Lori ND and something's going to come up because I've done enough of these videos. So, you can find me there. I do have a website and on my website, I have a page where I talk about the book. It has links to Amazon and to to different places where you can you can get that book as an ebook. I created it as an ebook and as a regular um paperback book for $111 because I think that that's a very synchronistic number and I'm super proud of the 11-11 and it's been a big part of my life. But mostly I just want to say that if any of this resonates with you um I also do lives on Wednesday and you can stop in and ask me questions. So, wake up Wednesday, I do at 5:00 p.m. Pacific, 6:00 p.m. Mountain, 7:00 p.m. Central, and 8:00 p.m. Eastern. So, you can join me and you can ask me questions in the comments, and I do my best to get to every one of them and and have these more enlightened conversations, these collaborative conversations, because it's really about you and helping you to uncover the power of your soul and who you are.

It's fascinating. And yours is one of the podcasts that I watch. So, I really appreciate >> yours. >> And yours expands a little bit differently than mine does. You know, I I really stick to a lot of near-death experiences. And then sometimes, like today, I branch out a little bit, but you really cover a lot of a variety of topics that are related to spirituality. I probably have done close to three over 300 maybe 350 of the NDEs and I've done the rest of them have been channelers people who understand things like gene keys or astrology people who are mediums people who have done past life regressions people who have had these astral travel and out of body experiences so I cover the gamut gamut of spiritual experiences because I don't think that there's just one way on a spiritual journey to understand where you're going, what you're doing, what interests you, what will help you on your journey. So, I try to go really really deep and wide and YouTube doesn't always um help me because I've gone so wide in all of that, but it doesn't matter. My YouTube channel is really about helping to wake up the collective. That's the purpose of it. So, I'm super grateful for everybody who watches and who connects and gets something out of one of my guests or something that that I've shared. So, I'm just super grateful to do it.

>> It's a labor of love. >> Definitely a labor of love and sometimes a lot of labor. >> It is because and I want to say this about Heather because I have known Heather for gosh almost two years. I adore Heather. She is a phenomen like it makes me cry. I have like tears in my eyes saying this. She's such a beautiful person inside and out and you guys have no idea what it takes to produce a channel like this. It's so much work and we're not making money. I think people think that there's this perception that you're I think I'm $40,000 into my channel. I don't even think I've made 12 in, you know, recouped out of it. It's not about the money. You do not do this for the money. You do this because you feel like you have a mission to share these or to have these conversations. And Heather, I don't know about you, but like I get to talk to you. We talk offline. I talk to other spiritual people. I get to have these conversations multiple times a week. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be able to ask people any question I want and to be able to have these deeper conversations. It really feeds my soul. And so I'm super grateful to even be here with you today because I just adore you and I love our connection so much.

>> Thank you and all of that. I feel the same way toward you. And here's the thing that people may not realize is we do have this community of podcasters that we all do similar things, but we've all become friends and we're really about helping to promote one another. And I think that's that really shows >> yeah the the the genuiness behind how people become more loving um when we start to hear more of these stories and take them in. So >> yeah, it's not a competition because everybody approaches an interview differently. There are some people that are only putting the NDEs out. There are some people that would ask a question I would never think of asking. So I think different people get different things. You can watch the same NDE multiple times and get something different out of it. And this is why people write books. These NDEs are so detailed and so immense that you never get anything out of everything out of a single conversation. You just couldn't.

>> A lot of people also don't realize how prevalent AI is now in creating fake near-death experiences that the person looks real, everything looks real, and it's not. And so there are, you know, podcasts like Lorie's, like mine, there are many, you know, who you can trust. >> Yeah. And I I would say about these NDEs and these other channels, like this is going to get worse before it gets better. These fake ones that are be being created by AI, I think have the ability to be kind of dangerous because they're using them very divisive, judgmental. Let me divide the collective. Let me put fear into you. NDE should not be eliciting these feelings of fear at all.

>> Lori, if there's one thing that you would like to leave our audience with today, what would that be? >> You are powerful beyond any conceive. And you do not have to give your power away. You are a being of love. You are completely worthy. You are always loved. You are never alone. And I hope that you can find comfort and solace in that that everything is happening for you and not to you.

>> Thank you, dear friend. You are so amazing as a person and I love all the wisdom that you have. So, thank you so much for coming here today. >> Thank you for the collaboration, Heather. I really love you. >> I love you as well. Thank you, Lori. Lori is such an amazing person and she is a dear friend of mine and I hope you enjoyed her as much as I did. I love talking to her just to tap into some of her wisdom. And I realize that you know this may be out of the comfort zone for some of you and maybe you just got out of it just some of the wisdom that I just mentioned. And also I do want to say and she says this too, you know, we are not recommending anything. We were just sharing her experiences. So I would love to know what your thoughts are on this. And I'm sure you've got a variety of thoughts. So please jot those down in the comments. Those comments do mean a lot to this channel. And also for those of you that don't have much to say, but you just want to say I made it to the end, that's great as well. You can always comment about Bubby or leave a comment for Lori. I will have all of Lor's information in the description, her website link. I'll also have a link to her channel there. And I'll also put links there to Peter Panagor, the episodes I did with his him because he does have a really amazing story. You can also find a link to all my past episodes. So, while you're waiting to watch the next one, please go there, watch the old ones, and then remember, I have a new one that comes out every Thursday. You can also find information on memberships. And these are just to give me a little extra support. So, thank you to my supporters and my super supporters. I really am grateful for all of you for just giving a little extra to help this channel along. And for those of you that just come back here and watch week after week, thank you. I appreciate that and I really appreciate those of you that stay all the way to the end. That actually helps out the algorithm. So, thank you for that and hopefully you stick around because you enjoy it. Thank you so much everybody for being here today. I'm grateful for all of you and Lori. I'm so grateful for you as well. Thank you for coming on my channel today. Take care everybody.
