And we're live in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, at the beautiful OTE Arena for some more OTE playoff basketball. It is the number eight seed City Reapers going head-to-head against the number one seed in all of OT, FaZe, out of Texas. It is David versus Goliath, the bottom first to the top to see who can win in a best-of-three series. Game one starts tonight. Chad, let us know who y'all got winning.
Let's check out the bracket before we get into play to see how the playoffs have been shaping up just so far. FaZe, City Reapers. This is game one in the best-of-three series. The winner will move on to round two to beat or play one of these two teams. Man, RWE Figot Athletics. Let us know who you think going to win that one. That should be a great one. Coharts Jellyfam has been a great one. Jellyfam snuck a win last night, forcing the game three. And it's YG Dreamers moving on, too, as they sweep the Blue Checks and the only team that's waiting in round two. Man, won a playoff so far. I'm Snipe Jones. Joined with me is my guy Pat Wavy. Pat, we've had the privilege of being here watching playoff basketball at an elite level. But this is a matchup I think a lot of us was waiting for. FaZe, can they continue this streak? They have been dominant throughout the entire regular season, or does the number eight seed have something to say about all these wins?
Hey man, Snipe, I'm starting to understand this FaZe team a little bit better the more I talk to them. This FaZe team is deeper than what we think. They're mentally coming ready to battle. Like it's a warfield for them. They're playing battlefield. They want to beat you mentally. They want to break you down. They want to trash talk. They have everything it takes. It kind of reminds me of the Indiana Pacers team. Jermaine O'Neal played for Ron Artest. They kind of all carry that swagger aggression. Hey man, they're good. It's a lot of swagger from the best duo in the league, Marcus Spears and Dari Spear. They won the best duo award. Brand new award here at OT, and it sounds exactly like it is: the best duo in the league. They are dominant on both ends of the basketball court. Mainly because Marcus Spears is top 10 in every statistical category in the league. He's the only player that can do that.
But man, this team is unbeatable when they're on their best game. Hey man, this this team is I I seen them I seen I seen them do it a lot. I've seen them beat every team so far except for the Dreamers. I got to see somebody compete against them, man. And to be honest, I'm curious to see how the City Reapers respond because some people feel like, do they even supposed to be here? They were able to get the W against the Diamond Doves, and that was a very serious game because if they lose, then the Diamond Doves would have been here, not the City Reapers. Big-time game. City Reapers played well, and here they are. My question is, are they going to back down from the overwhelming favorite? I mean, Jeremy Jenkins, that's going to be the key, the answer, the solution to anything that the Reapers got going on. If he's able to put on a performance, Snipe, we're going to see.
Man, it's time to find it out, man. Check out the star lineup for the City Reapers. Though the season have not been going the way they would like it to, the playoffs, man, you're zero and zero. You got a chance to turn it all the way around. Team owner, my guy Deri Harding. Number 40, the young bull out of Georgia, Bla1 Johnson. Number six, the sharpshooter from Chicago, Howard Williams. Number zero, the Swiss Army knife from Montclair, New Jersey, Cole Granderson. Number three, got bounce. He's headed to Utah, Styles Clemens. And last but not least, Shay the tweaker, Jeremy Jenkins.
Next up, it's time for the number one seed in all of OT, FaZe, out of Fort Worth, Texas. They have been dominant this entire season. Now, let's find out if they can do it in postseason. Number 24 is the number one player in the class of 2027, Marcus Spears. Number one is a big man holding it down in the paint, David Balerin. Number three is the most efficient scorer in the league, Target Bullseye winner, Vicari Spear. Number six is a McDonald's All-American out of Texas, Austin Guzby. And number seven, headed to Arizona State, Seven Spurlock.
What a great matchup we got, man. It's tough to say who going to win. I kind of heard you in the pregame. I don't want to, you know, give too much away, but who you got winning tonight, Pat? Man, man, man, man, man, I I'm going FaZe today. Snipe. I'm going FaZe. And we got an even record. So, let's go. Let's do this now.
Yeah, man. Tom, I think Tom said it was going to be a sweep. That's kind of crazy, right? Go underdog. I really want to go underdog, but I can't allow my heart to pick for me, man. I know ball. I got to go with FaZe. I think they're going to get it done. This is a very complete team. But you know who knows best? I got Overtime Tom. And he's with both of the captains right now. Locked in for the Adidas Faceoff.
Snipe, this is one of the tallest Faceoffs we've ever had. Marcus Spears, Jeremy Jenkins. Jeremy, I'll start with you, man. The eight seed, the underdog. Do the City Reapers like that? Is that motivating you guys at all for this first series?
It motivated us every day.
And how are you feeling going into this one?
It's 0-0. Let's play ball.
Okay. He is locked in. He seems very confident, but I know you guys are confident as well. Nine and oh is what we're we're hoping for in these playoffs. How does FaZe? I'm I'm just going to go the whole way. What does FaZe have to do to win an OT championship?
Just stay disciplined. Stay to the game each possession and just play hard.
Is there any fear going against the Reapers?
Nah, there's no fear going into any team we play. We trust the stuff that we do. And confidence comes with being prepared. So, we feel like we prepare.
There you have it, man. Two great bigs, two great teams, FaZe and the City Reapers. Snipe, let's get some OT playoffs going.
Yo, Tom, what's kind of crazy is Jeremy Jenkins is listed at like 6'9" and Marcus Spears is listed at 6'11". They look very identical when they were standing next to you. We might have to re-measure Jeremy Jenkins. He might be 6'11" himself. But here we go. We got the number eight seed City Reapers against the number one seed in all of OT, FaZe, the brand new team out of Fort Worth, Texas, putting the world on notice that FaZe is the best team in the country. Who will it be? David or Goliath? The A seed or the one seed? Best-of-three series. And it's all about to start now.
And we are underway of game one of a best-of-three series between the City Reapers and FaZe. Crowd is on their feet. It's a beautiful place to be. OT Arena in the playoffs time, man. Austin Goofy up top. He's a McDonald's All-American. This team is loaded. That's the reason why everybody is saying they have the most complete team in the league.
Uh-oh, please. Johnson, he got some bounce to the lane, and City score first. Pat Wavy, you told me City Reapers come out and they swing the first punch. They might have a chance to win tonight, man. That's all you got to do. I I feel if you're if you go in with any Okay.
Another steal. And unfortunately, turns it over. FaZe trying to slow it down. You got to be really smart with that right there, Snipe. If you want to beat this team, you must win in the free-throw department. You must win in the rebound department, and you must win in the turnover department. You got to have a perfect game. Great skip pass.
I'll take that shot. I like that shot. I think that they're fine with Seven taking that shot, though. Seven Spurlock is a very good, complete player. The one thing he lacks is a consistent jump shot. He may make it from time to time, but I think you can live with that for right now.
I'm going with that. I agree with you. I do. Julie, that's not a bad shot. That's.
Granderson. Oh, knocks it down. Could have been an and-one there. Cole Grand has been one of the most official scorers in the league for about, say, about 95% of the season.
Yeah. Not Cole. We we I think we spoke about him earlier a lot this year. Cole's one of them underrated guys that I think he's just a complete player.
Almost stolen again. City Reapers playing some good defense, but somehow they forgot to guard the number one player in the class of 2027. Easy mid-range right there for Marcus Jr.
FaZe coming out in this full-court press almost just trying to slow him down a little bit, not let him walk into the set. Head coach Jermaine O'Neal for this FaZe team. He's done amazing, Pat. As we mentioned, they have the longest win streak in OT history. As Jeremy Jenkins, if he's making that. Good night, Pat.
And we spoke about it earlier. Jeremy Jenkins can do everything at this size. But if this loses. Oh, goodness. And that is why he won the Target Bullseye award for the most. In the country. That's the car spearhead the Texas Tech right there. And you're not going to fire the more efficient buck. That was OD.
That look like you right there. I was.
Howard Williams. He's been playing great as of late. Oh, that's a rebound. Okay. The car is locked. If you're a City fan, come out. Come out. Come out. As Coach O'Neal trying to get the timeout. Good news for you is you're starting off hot, man. And the playoffs is 0-0-0. Your terrible record in the regular season doesn't matter. Bla1 Johnson getting to the layup. They're starting off balling, man. Jeremy Jenkins walking into a trey ball. Everything's falling right now for the City Reapers. Make sure you guys like, comment, and subscribe, man. It's playoff basketball here at OT. Marcus Spears, the number one player in the country.
The rankings don't mean anything if you can't back it up on the court. This is Kayen Dal. I don't chase rankings. I chase respect. Here we go. My attention, young man. Now I'm about to prove that I'm the future OT. FaZe is going down here. God better watch out. They've been going back and forth all game. I don't care what everybody says. I'm the best player in OT.
Welcome to the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, for the tip-off of Overtime Select. They've earned the respect from the world. Music is playing. The girls are excited. The energy is electric, man. Dope jerseys, dope kicks. All about to go down right here, right now. I love Thompson Lake. City Reapers is a magical franchise in this OTE building. They've won several championships in the past, as you see, back-to-back champions, but three consecutive finals appearances. Pat Wavy, that is a legacy right there. You see men Assar, Amari Evans, Malik Thomas, Bryson Tiller. I mean, some of the biggest names, Big Ja, who is one of the OT legends, even Davis, think he should be Mount Rushmore because he's won a championship just about every year he's here. All of the legendary names, man, on the City Reapers. And here we are. They find themselves with a brand new identity, being the worst team in the league on paper, at least. They got a lot of shoes to fill. But right now, I would say they're off to a good start. As I was mentioning, no matter what the record, season record is, Pat, the playoffs starts over. It's zero to zero.
Every in every and everything in football and basketball and soccer and hockey, the players is a new game, man. How do you feel about the Reapers coming out of the two-three zone? You know, Pat, I'm a fan of trying things and figuring out. Oh, I mean, that's just that is a 6'11" center who just one dribble ripped through from the three-point line and glided to the basket. Basketball has evolved, you know, in in the early 2000s, nobody was doing that size.
Nah, not at all. But what I would definitely come to say, though, is if you're going to be in a two-three, you have to out. I don't like the shot. Tough shot by Williams. And now FaZe, you can only imagine what O'Neal said in a timeout. He was not happy with his team. You can expect him to play well. How about that? Marcus Pierce Jr. showing how effective he is in the painted area.
I like that kid a lot, Pat. You know what makes him such a good kid, man? If you sit down and just talk to him for five minutes, you got to love him. He's he's he's the greatest kid you could ever meet. And he's so talented. You have to root for him. And you're not alone at all. You're not alone. He's a hard kid not to like. I can see why he had so many offers. I can only imagine coming to his living room, sitting down, talking to the kid. I won't offer him on the spot.
And yeah. Yeah. He just seems like a the kid that's for your program like, "Oh. Great extra pass." And Pearl knocks it down. We were saying you got to live with that. So, that's what comes with it. Great shot by Spurlock. Good time. Oh, that's why I'm saying when Coach O'Neal is exiting. Oh, we got to handle it. Pat, WATCH YOUR HAND. WE GOT some. Seven gets the three. Get a quick steal. And that's exactly what you expect. Coach O'Neal did not like what he was seeing at all. Called the timeout, and look how the team responded. Look how the team responded, Pat. That's what it's all about.
Nah. Yeah, man. I have a hot take right here, Snipe. That was an amazing dunk. Let's take a look at that on a metro cam. I got to say that from another angle, Pat. Look at this. The quick hands. Two hands for safety right there. High flyer. And Snipe, this is Bla1 Johnson's first OTE high-intensity game. I love that kid. I I I love him. I don't know right now. This is the time. Do you go do you go your uh uh series to watch it? Mitch, you space. Styles with the ball. Just run. Remember I told you a lot of their zone stuff is match-up anyway. So you could run your man-to-man the right thing. They were in zone. You flared the top of the uh zone. Cool. And then you ball screen. You turn a corner into a gap. Now when you turn that corner, you had a throwback pass right here to Blaze. Okay. Yo, we got to slow them up. Can't be transition. Can't be rebound. Together. Together. Together. 1-2-3. Here last night. You saw how crazy the nation was.
You hear Coach Miguel for City Reapers saying that their zone is really like a matchup zone. So, we can still run some of our man-to-man plays. You know, Coach Miguel's been around the game, but he got his work cut out for him because this coaching head-to-head is going to be a tough one. You coaching against Jermaine O'Neal, former NBA All-Star. He probably knows more basketball. He probably forgot more basketball than we know. Pat.
Here we go. Mitchell, newest addition to this team inside the J. He's passing. Oh, no foul there. And here we go. That play Gby. Wow. This guy, this kid is he's good. Pass inside to go. The ref should let him play right now. I've seen a lot of contact on both sides. I like it. Stay in his own, Pat. They're going to stay in this in his zone. Now they're coming out hot. Causing turn. Oh. Oh. It's going to stay here. Ref says deflected it. You can see the zone is kind of speeding him up and causing him to have some error. Some urgency from the City Reaper team.
Let's go. Seven stunt. Seven stunts. Set. Get it in. Also in the game for the first time is Gabe Nmith. Man, keep your eye on him. He's a straight-out bucket. Unfortunately, he was dealing with injuries for the majority of the season, Pat. It's only like his third game, but he can get it going in bunches. Let's see what we got here. Cole kneesmith. Nith full jumper. I told you he is nice. I spoke to him before the game. I said, "Hey, Gabe, a lot of people don't know what to what to expect from you. Are you good? Are you the difference maker of the team? This is the game to show us. If you want to show us how really good you are, and this is the perfect team. Show us what you're made of." You made a steal or you made a plastic.
He was on minutes restriction his first three games coming back from injury. But this kid, man, when I when I got a chance to talk the game, first off, I got to realize that he's been around a lot of great basketball. He played. He played high school basketball with Cooper Flag, Derek Queen, uh Liam, you know, all these guys are in the NBA, Pat. Yeah, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, and he was there. So it's like he's been around some really great basketball. One of the greatest coaches in high school basketball, too. The Mount Ver that Mount Vern team with that coach went through a lot, a lot of great players. Kade, so he seen it. He tough shot. He.
Is. But just a second, I got overtime. Tom is always working. He got somebody on the Metro Van. Where you at, man?
Hey guys, I'm down here on the City Reapers bench. I got Bla1 Johnson down here, starting guard for the City Reapers. Plays. Obviously, your first playoff game here on the team. Are you feeling the intensity a little bit? Any different vibe than normal?
Uh, yeah, definitely energy's up. Everybody's fighting to get to the next round. So, definitely uh competing is going to be way, way higher on another level. So, I'm definitely feeling it already at the start. And obviously, you're going against a tough task here with FaZe. What's the biggest thing that coach wants you guys to focus on to slow them down a little bit?
Just details. uh knowing who the scorers are, knowing where they're good at, and then just being where it's supposed to be.
Awesome. Thank you, Blaze. Appreciate you, man. Back to you, fellas.
Thank you, Tom, for always keeping us updated. Gave me no good, but how about the effort from Marcus Spears Jr.? He is getting to that rim at will. Already eight points tonight. He usually starts off a little methodical, but he's being very aggressive. Trey Nun for three. No good. That's the storyline I want to talk about. Trey Nun originally came into OT. He won a dream tryout and he played for the City Reapers after deciding that he wanted to go back home and be a part of FaZe. How about the first round of the playoffs you go against the very same team you were a part of? That's kind of ironic.
I mean, I wish Tren was more of a try cuz I know he I know the plays. I know. I know the plays. You couldn't guard me at practice. You can't guard me now.
Hey, man, I would I would have took the joy out of it. The odds of you going up against your former team in the first round of playoffs is hilarious. Let's see how well tough shots and he hits those. Great rebound right there by Mitchell. I don't think. Oh, Gooby. He got bounce. Let's see what he does. Turnovers. Turnovers. Man, this zone is really causing him to speed up with the basketball. And the zone is really good when you have guys with the basketball that's not comfortable with it. You see Mitchell, he had a wide-open lane, but he was so uncomfortable dribbling the basketball. He just forced the pass cuz he just wanted to get it out of his hands.
I feel like this V team, they run this press a lot. If you did your homework on film, you should they should they have to have something prepared for FaZe press. Everybody knows when you play FaZe, they're going to press up on you. They're going to play high contact, and guards are feisty. They're going to bump you off your spot. Oh, quick crossover by Blaze. Takes the bump, and he's headed to the free-throw line. Bla1 Johnson has shown us time and time again that he's one of the better players in this league. Still young, man, class of 2028. So far, averaging about 13 points per game, four rebounds. You know, I bumped into his dad earlier in the arena, and it was funny because his pops ran down on me and said, "Hey, man, he said I played for. I played for Georgia Tech." So pops, Blaze, if you're around watching, my apologies, man. I don't want no problems.
Two different schools. Yeah, you know, man, you can't do that. You can't do that. I appreciate you for setting me straight, man. Shout out to Georgia Tech. Shout out to Bla1 Johnson cuz he's been playing he's been playing really well.
Let me tell you something, man. It makes a little more sense now when you say that he come from the basketball background cuz this kid for his age, his size, his potential, his IQ. I'm going to be honest, I I don't know if I seen him before, bro. Oh, he's and he's so mature. He's so poised. If I didn't tell you how old he was, you would know. I I think B could reclass up right now to a senior, like honestly. He got the he got the body, man. He's already 6'5", 185, getting stronger and getting better as the City Reapers keeping his game in striking distance. Only an eight-point deficit.
We need a mixtape. Every time Coach Odo gets mad, he has like this face. Look at the face he looks at the ref with. Yeah, that's the same. Yeah, that's that's the same way you look at Tom when he when Tom says something like. Look at the face. I've never seen Tom be more afraid of somebody in my life. I got a lot of questions for coach. I'm afraid to go up to him. I knew it. There we go. Triple hand off the Oh, heavy by Cole Granderson. Gets him up in the air. Great hands right there by Smith. He might have to. He might have to draw a foul there. Marcus Spears get pass over the. Got it. That's his shooter right there. The shooter. Hunter McGraw with the quick trigger right there. Big-time shot extending this lead to 11.
I love Coison up fake. But you know how like Kobe and that shake when up fake you get you in a foul with your body. Oh. Gabe trying to get something to go. Howard Williams, good shot. Create his face. G to go now. 4 seconds left. Pat to end out the first quarter. He's going to shoot it. He hit it. He hit it. Oh, it was on the money, just a little too short. Great first half. Well, great first quarter by FaZe, 23-11. City Reaper still in striking distance. It's not over yet, but man, they got some work to do. Like, comment, and subscribe. Second quarter coming up. Unbelievable.
And we're live for OT7. Oh my goodness, what a catch. The best high school football players only at OT7. Oh, record-breaking touchdown. Who will be OT7 champion? Top 10 player in the country. Drops a dime. He's a five-star. And look at this. Windmill. Hey, somebody help me up, man. 10 seconds left. 5-4-3. For the OT championship. Told y'all, man, our legacy, our destiny, boy, our destiny.
In order to pave the way for the future, we have to reflect on the past and give tribute to those who made it possible. The black men and women who look just like me that wanted to be great. In 1968, Shirley Chisum became the first African-American woman to serve in the United States Congress. In 1972, Chisum became the first woman and African-American to pursue the nomination for the United States presidency. Her motto was unbought and unbossed. But history has shaped our present and will make way for our future. So remember those who came before.
And welcome back to the OTE Arena, where we're celebrating Black History Month all February long. Jeremy Jenkins has been a walking model of consistency for this City Reapers team, coming out to a really good start. Pat, they're going to need all the contribution they can get from him to get past this really well-coached FaZe team. Ready for this night?
Yeah. I do not like the City Reapers team trying to beat FaZe off of jump shots because I promise you that is what FaZe wants you to take. These mid-range pull-ups, these these Penny Hardaway spin backs. That's the shot that FaZe wants you to take. I want to see the City Reapers get downhill, get to the free-throw line. Kind of similar to what we seen Jellyfam do upset Cohorn yesterday. They just was they got downhill. They made the shots that we gave it to them.
Here we go. Tried it there. Couldn't get it to go. But it seems like they're loading up on Jeremy Jenkins. The moment he put his back to the basket, you see how Seven drops low for the weak-side help. Coached. It's going to be tough. Yeah, it's well thought out. I mean, who else would know how to stop a post player? More than more than Jermaine O'Neal. Six, five, four, three, two, one. He hit it though. That style's body. They call him style for a reason, man. I like his style. That is a tough shot. You see that? You see how high he jumped on that? There's no reason why he's there's a reason why he got the highest vertical in OT history. He showed it on a jump shot right there. Not even a dunk. He had to jump high for a jump shot.
For all the kids out there, if you if you watch Pepper, Stout wasn't a fan of a three-point shot. He wasn't a fan of shooting. This is just a testament of what working on your game will do for you, man. Stouts is one of OT's top shooters on the shooting machine right now, man. But you can see it in his game. Jenkins willing his way through. Can't get it to go. FaZe trying to capitalize. Spurlock spin move. Left-hand layup. He's good.
Yeah, he got to make him go the other way. Headed to Arizona State. Savage Burlock is. But Jermaine O'Neal will compare him to like a Draymond Green type player, especially in this role here for FaZe. Wow, I like that. Plays back to Jayla Mitchell. He can shoot it back. Did you bring that comparison or was that Coach O'Neal? That was that was Coach O'Neal. Oh, great patio. Hunter's been shooting it well. Oh, bodies on the floor. What What else you expect, man? It's playoff basketball here. Got a lot of shots being made tonight, man. Refer off to a really good start as you see the spin move. Up and under with the left hand intentional. He can't just push him, throw him down. And I love the shot from Styles Clemens. This was crazy. Last second at the buzzer. He kind of had to turn his body mid-air. That's not easy to make. But I called it. He made it. That style shot. He did. Actually, you did that. The harder the shot, the better it is for Styles. I'm going to be honest with you.
I just seen Tayen Kenny come back and not only did he get a stack, but he got a 67 water. I I've never seen something more on brand in my life. Tayen Kenny 67 water courtside. Got to go. Good life, man. Prot. Hey, sometimes the basketball just rolls your way. And the moment he hit that corner three, I knew he would get it going offensively. He's been having a great night tonight. City Reapers got to find some offense.
YES, SIR. YES, SIR. City Reapers trying to fight and get a bucket. My guy Overtime Tom has another guest on the Metro Bobc. Hey, thanks Knight. Down here with Dari Spear, one of the leaders for FaZe. Dari, you guys started a little slow. O'Neal called timeout. Got into you guys a little bit. I know. I think he's about to do it again.
We can talk, right?
Snipe, we got a little break. We'll come back to the car after. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you, man. I appreciate it, Tom. They're They're happy right now. 100 run. 33-15. This is getting ugly. It's bad waving. I am getting crazy. We got the best high school football players from around the nation. Saying taking a shot.
OH MY GOODNESS. What a catch. NO WAY. SHOT DOWNFIELD. He's under the number one quarterback in the nation. WHAT AM I WATCHING? He's amazing. We balling.
Welcome back everyone to OTE Arena. FaZe is putting on a show right now against the City Reapers. That's what you expect from the number one seed. But we saw another show last night. We watched Jellyfam and the Cold Hearts get after it. Jellyfam, the number six seed. Colart's, the number three seed. AO came out hitting shots. We thought maybe the Colts would close out this series, but Jellyfam put their defense and their effort on a whole another level. Tory Brooks, Yondell German, that was the story of last night, as well as Josea. This Jellyfam team on the brink of elimination pulled off one of the best comeback wins you are going to see here at OTE Arena. This team is here. They are strong, and they upset the Cold Hearts to force a game three that will be played on Monday night at 9:00. You see Mel in the spot in the building right now. Pat Wavy was hyping them. Got a win. Season's not over yet.
Man, this is the best popcorn in the world, bro. I just snuck some TK popcorn, and it reminded me how good the popcorn is in this arena. If you have never been to OT, you need to come, man. Go Brandon for three. Okay, I like that right there. You know, Steph Curry has a list of every arena and who has the best popcorn in the NBA. It's Lot. Who's he talking to? He's a. You know, his nickname is the tweaker, right? He's a tweaker. He don't. He's talking to himself right now, Pat. Don't make him mad. And and to be honest, I think FaZe made him mad.
Okay. I like that's what I like. Strong move. Yo, when when he gets a handful of steam, I truly do believe there is nobody in this league. I'm a damn serious. Yeah, got to make your free throws every. He's one of the most physical kids I've ever seen in my life. Yo, he's a junior, Pat. He's not even a senior. Look at Coach O'Neal. His starters is coming right back in. Once one run is enough for Coach O'Neal to put his start whole starting five back in. He doesn't. He don't like to give up no points. Yeah.
I don't think it's points. I think he understands the natural flow of the game and he understands how momentum works. You get a one layup like that, you start screaming, feeling yourself. Let me let me stop that before this even get out of hand. Let me stop the momentum now. All right. Now, look at the difference between a FaZe and a Reaper defense. Reapers are kind of allowing FaZe to get in their sets. Snipe, look, they're getting the pass. They getting the shots they want.
Well, I also think that the City Reapers want Seven Burlock to shoot that. Unfortunately, he's knocking him down. You got to be the aggressors against FaZe. Look now. Look at the difference, though. Look how high this FaZe two-three is versus. Look, look, look. You see what I'm saying?
I mean, you're absolutely right, Pat. This defense is on the line. Oh, and that's why you make a sub. Right now, the momentum is back on your side. Look how high this. Look how high the FaZe presses. It's a lot more aggressive, right? It's more more ball pressure, more in your face. And now you causing City Reapers to play a lot more one-on-one basketball. Meanwhile, the City Reaper zone is a lot more sagged off, and you allow them to get. You're allowing them to be the aggressors. Seven Seven Spurlock for the season is shooting 19% from three. I truly do believe that the City Reapers are saying, we'll live with that shot. It's just a problem when he's making that shot.
Yeah. He's making a shot that you designed for him to make. But truth be told, I don't think I I feel like when the players shoot at a low. Oh, good hand. Howard Williams showing off that vertical. But that's how you know it's your day when the ball when the basketball just bounces to you like that. Back. Yeah. It Jenkins is head down looking at the basket. He's headed to the line. Let's take another look. That was a good alley. That was a good dunk. Yeah. Good dunk, too. I think I think people underrate how tough it is throwing a good lob. Like that's a skill. Yeah. Yeah. Throwing a good lob. Yeah. It took me a lot to get that in my bag. It's not easy. Especially like if you play the OT, maybe you can have a little bit bigger margin for error because we have some of the best athletes in the world. But if you're just playing basketball casually at your like public high school, you don't really have a guy who can you can just throw it anywhere. He can catch it. Yeah. Ain't Diamond Blazy everywhere. There's no bad lobs for Diamond Blaz.
Speaking about Diamond Blazi, Toms, could you find uh the City Reapers and Dlazi cuz the chat is screaming where is DB? The chat bas. Probably got a lot of ice on somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. Somewhere with a lot of a lot of ice on. Got a foul on the floor. There go Diamond Blasely. The 6'8" man with bounce from Paris, France. He then came to America and took over like Prince Akeem, man. Coming to America, started balling. Here we go. Spears jabs that three ball. Let me tell you something, man. Texas Tech has a gym in this kid. He might be. He just might be the pure scorer in OT. He already got the Target Bullseye award. By the way, they calculate three-point percentage, field goal percentage, and free-throw percentage. He had the highest in the league. He makes it look so easy, Pat. I think every shot he shoots going in. He look like D Book out there sniping sometimes. I honestly goofy. Back to Spears. Look a sevenfish. Seven spin move back up top. Spear's asking for it. He he likes the matchup. Goulby. Oh, baseline drive. It's good defense right now by the Reapers. It's just not good enough. They cannot get a stop. Somebody got a stop depleted, man. FaZe is playing such a good game right now. Reapers going to have to change their defensive set. Whatever they are right now, man, you got to give coach Jermaine O'Neal some credit, man. These guys are disciplined. They stand on their feet for pump fakes. They're in the passing lane. Look at the communication. Everybody is on it's like it's like everybody's on a stream. When the basketball rotates, they all move together. When somebody drives, they all filling in the gap like they are playing in unison. This is a perfect. A perfect performance from FaZe tonight. Nah, I can't lie to you. This FaZe scene is definitely showing. Hey, we're just we're just we might be better than you guys.
Big bonus. Look like three right now. Of course. Never been here before. Big bonus opportunity for the City Reapers. A five-on-four advantage. Instead of shooting board free throws, man, you getting a bonus. We do something like a big bonus. Imagine a pawn playing hockey. You got a five-on-four advantage. The person committing the foul has to stay out the play for the remainder of the 14 seconds on the shot clock. Behind you. Open up. Any foul occurring during the big bonus is an automatic bucket. No free throws. Stman to the lane. Easy play. Simple give and go right there, Pat. But they needed that one. Coach is not happy. Look at the lead that they have. Look at the lead they have, Pat. They're up 19 points, and he's chewing guys out. Turnover here. Push the ball. Push the ball. Plays to the basket. You're not ready for this. I'm saying, man, you got to be ready, Snake. Dude, those possessions like that, fast breaks, you got to block. He shot away from the contact. He got chased down. No, they didn't hit the ball. He missed the layup. No, they blocked it, man. No, they didn't block it. Look. Look at the rebound. They blocked it. And it's back to a 21-point game. He got his whole arm wrapped around his waist. What? Back in his face is being. Can't say something to nobody. Cold. That's headed to the line. That's the way you go out. I I agree. You get down here. Power wide open. Way wide open. And then have they taken one bad shot or did they just move. 45-24. FaZe in complete control of the first half of this game. Pat, what are you seeing right now?
FaZe had some dope bad shots the whole game. No, we forced a miss. Have you seen a bad shot? A forced shot yet? Not really, man. I think City Reapers have a whole court of bass shots. Brandon at the line knocks down the first. Cole Granderson, second year at OT. He played with Malik Thomas, Amari Evans. Now he's back returning. Coach O'Neal got his first warning. Oh, Coach O'Neal got a warning. Got to be careful. Yo, imagine being up 20. Madden doesn't get a warning. I'm tell. He's hard to please, man. He is hard to please. What's that? What's that Tyrese mean? What more do you want from me? That's what everybody's asking right now. I was going to try to talk to him. Yeah. Yeah. Step away, Tom. I don't think. Basketball. We got to be. He took the glasses off and everything, man. He watching Tomachal. Also, listen, look at Coach O'Neal. Look at Tom, though. That is a huge difference. Tom is like slowly walking back like he looks at him and be like, "You know what? Nah." I bet I bet you Coach O'Neal and Coach P would be great friends. They just like I think I think they agree a lot on certain things. A head assistant coach that'll be you going to have one fight. That'll be the best team in the country for a lot of reasons. Coach teams might average 40 points against them. I got Tom got someone else on the match your vibe cap. You working hard today, Tom. I feel you.
Thank you, Snipe. I'm down here with Goose again. You know, maybe he's going to. See, I got you. I got. Obviously, not the start you want. What do you got? I mean, you're playing a really tough team. How good is this going against?
They're really good when they can get out in the open court and they can hit the glass. Keep them in the half court, they're a different team. Right now, they're running up and down the court uh from our bad shots, and they're getting our offensive glass when they miss shots. It's nothing in the half court. We got to keep them in the half court. Very simple, and we know that.
And obviously, you prepared a lot for this game. What were some of the main things that you were trying to preach to the team that hopefully you guys can can start doing here?
If we take good shots, then we're able to get back in on in defensive transition, and when we take bad shots, we struggle to get back in transition, and that's what's happening right now.
All right, coach. All right, they're going to lock in. Lock in, Snipe. Back to you, man.
Thank you, Tom. Appreciate it. All right, we got one minute left in this second half. FaZe has been playing some great basketball. Spears mid-range. Oh my goodness. Oh my god. Spear, bro. I'm tell he's Deon Booker 2.0. You know how hard it is to fade like to fade? He is deep. F. I got shot and I tell you how hard it. Right there. Bla1 Johnson getting a put back. 16-point game. 30 seconds left in the second quarter. Best of three series, game one. McGivery inside the Ballerin. And we got a foul. You're getting hit. Yeah, right. But you got to keep fighting. Take another look at the card spear. That was nasty, man. Cross. Oh my my. He's very skilled, man. That is a very skilled shot.
So Pat, let me let me break this down to you. Right. Game one is important for the City Reapers more than FaZe. Let me tell you why. If the City Reapers lose this game, you're not beating FaZe two times in a row. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know what's crazy is when I say that, I sit back and I think, what team in OT can beat FaZe four times in a row? Cuz if FaZe makes it into the finals, it's the best of seven. No. How many teams can beat this team, this well-coached, with this much talent? Four times.
Man, as we think about that, let me tell you guys to not go nowhere during the State Farm Halftime Show. That's hosted by my guy Pat Wavy and of course Overtime Tom. We're going to take a look at the first half highlights, show you locker room access, and more. That's the State Farm Halftime Show coming up soon. You don't want to miss it. Make sure you guys like, comment, subscribe, and Pat. I got Tom always doing an amazing job during the halftime show. Have to do it with me. Oh, Valerie. You got to finish strong. He got blocked like bro. He got blocked. He didn't miss. McGillary. 8 seconds. Murlock misses everything. Four seconds left to end out the second quarter. I thought I had one. Blaze, he shoots it. Does it go? FaZe with a dominant first half in this game one best of three series against the City Reapers. It was an all-out team effort like it's been all season long. But the Schneer Jones shooting star of the half goes to no other than Seven Spurlock. He was everywhere on offense and defense, getting steals, playing the passing lane, knocking down the three ball. Whatever his team needed from him, he got it done. He's joining with us now. Seven.
Yeah. You guys are playing very inspired basketball. Not only are you on the longest win streak in OTE, but you guys have played a dominant first half. What's been the reason for this resurgence you guys playing with right now?
I'm just coming in trying to show everybody what we can do. Why number we number one seed, honestly? The first time I got a chance to talk to you before the season, we had a meeting with you and your team, and you guys came in here on a mission to show that you were one of the best teams in the country. So far, so good. How do you feel about how y'all been able to adjust and dominate this league?
Uh, I feel like we've been able to adjust very good. We started off slow. We lost to Dreamers and RW, and I feel like we was able to bounce back from that and just show everybody what we can do.
And just work as a team. I feel like those losses help us build with a bond with each other, cuz we never lost before that. In there, then that just helped us build.
>> Coach O'Neal speaks very highly of you. He even says you have this Draymond Green type ability for your team tonight. You knocking down threes, you throwing lobs, you getting steals. Talk to us about your game and why are you so important to this phase offense?
>> Uh, I feel like I'm very important just knowing my role. I feel like we got a lot of scorers on the team with Shuzzby and Marcus and uh DK do a lot of scoring. I feel like I got to get it how I get it. And just knowing at the next level I'm going to have to play a role too. So just starting early and just knowing my role and just letting it come to me, let the game come to me. Not forcing anything, just being myself, honestly.
>> Thank you for taking the time. I'm going to let you get back with your team. Seven. Amazing first half. We got the State Farm halftime coming up right now. Don't go anywhere. Like, comment, and subscribe. We got more OT playoff basketball coming up right after this.
Being that overtime is like having that that like family that you never really had. But nothing beats like opening a fresh set of overtime sweats, bro. Like I feel like everybody got like 10, 20 of these. They a staple, like right out the bag. Heat. Heat. Basketball, eat, sleep, and repeat every day. These really became my brothers. You know.
>> Man, I feel like, you know, we've started to gel together. The things that, you know, may have happened off the court, you know, it builds us into, you know, that team that we need to be.
Welcome, welcome back everyone to OTE. It is halftime here. City Reapers in FaZe. I got my guy Pat Wavy with me. Patrick, should we just hand FaZe the trophy now? You want to just hand it to him? Let the season be over.
>> This an offensive and defensive master class from FaZe. Like honestly, like watching their watching them on defense and seeing how disciplined they are. They give up nothing. If you're trying to beat them off a jump shot, you won't work. If you try to drive the ball, their interior presence is too much. Their perimeter presence is too much. Offensively, as you see, Seven Spurlock shoots 16% from three on the on the season. He can hit a shot. Marcus Spears can hit a shot. The Car can hit his shots.
>> They're really good. They're really, really good. And look, they're playing the Reapers who were up 8 to 2 to start the game. Shout out to the City Reapers. They're in the playoffs. The City Reapers. Let's check out how they got here and what they're hoping to do if they can just get be a little better.
>> Yeah. Really turning things around.
>> Us getting a new head coach in the beginning of the season.
>> Play basketball the right way. You get a shot, you take it.
>> Players getting injured. Just so much adversity.
>> Well, I tell you who's not living good. Okay, the City Reapers. Unfortunately, they started off this season abysmal to say the least. 104 to 90, making it so much harder for the City Reapers to sneak into the playoffs with another loss. To put a season like that in the rearview mirror, it's all mental. You really have to look at the playoffs as something new.
>> Us focusing on losses and earlier the season isn't doing anything for us. Us just staying in the present and just focusing on the next day.
>> We've been in every game. There's not one game that we haven't been within reach. You make the playoffs, it's 0-0. You never know. Oh, what a.
>> Jaylen Mitchell will have a breakout playoff.
>> The City Reapers have a really nice addition late in the season. Jaylen Mitchell not only is showing that he's a force to be reckoned with, but he could be the secret piece that was missing from the City Reapers.
>> He's a dog. Like, that's what we need for the playoffs.
>> It's going to take everyone to win it all.
>> Yes, sir. 1, 2, 3.
>> Coaches, players, everybody. Don't count us out. We'll be at the top soon.
>> Reapers.
>> And look, I love the Reapers and I feel like they came out with a lot of passion, but this FaZe team, they're going up against is just unreal. Marcus Spears, we talked about Seven Spurlock. He was awesome, shooting star of the first half, but I feel like everything starts with Marcus Spears, the number one player in the class of 2027. He was doing his thing that whole entire first half. Started up with a couple nice buckets.
>> They got a lot of pieces.
>> He's 6'11, can put the ball on the floor, can block shots, can finish at a high level, who doesn't take any bad shots, hit the mid-range. Honestly, him being the number one player in the country does not surprise me at all. He can, he's able to take the ball off of the rebound, push it fast break, he hits the open man. He just understands how to play the game the right way. And hey Tom, when when he's going and and like honestly, like I'm lost of words when watching him just beat him like so good. And this whole FaZe team, like they had so many transition buckets. They play great defense. They get a rebound. They get out and run. They knock down shots. You just can't, it feels like you can't slow them down.
>> I, I don't understand it. Like when you when you're thinking about it, you're like, "Hey, we might be able to get a stop on them or two." You look on the scoreboard and they just went from a being down 28 to up 20 points going in the nine.
>> And the one thing I'll say is like we saw Jellyfan last night who was great on defense. This FaZe team feels like Jellyfan, but they're all just way bigger and taller. Like literally, this is just they play they kind of in the same defense as Jellyfan. They're they're they're sneaking a zone in. They they man-to-man pressing you, man. I don't know if you're the Reapers. I honestly don't know. I can't even help you. And I feel like I got the answers to everything, but I don't know what to do for the Reapers.
>> Well, hopefully Coach Miguel has the answer in the locker room.
>> Come out of a timeout, say, "Yo, we're just watching them shoot." No one ever said, "Don't contest." Game starts. No contest. Have a seed. We've lost every timeout, even the ones that we've called so far. Y'all got to focus, man. Y'all got to focus. And then get out your feelings. If you don't want to come out the game, do.
>> Small details again for us is the turnovers or or the missed rotation or or the missed layup or the offensive rebound. That that's the separation, right? We should be up 30 right now, right? We have to be who we are at all times to the very detail. I don't know if we understand that. Do we understand the magnitude of detail?
>> Right. That is the micro.
>> Coach O'Neal thinks his team should be up by 30. What a surprise. Paying attention to details. Coach O'Neal and the FaZe team, they are absolutely dominating right now. But hey, City Reaper still alive, got a lot of firepower. Let's see if they can pull off the comeback in the second half. We'll be right back.
When you're winning, it's easy to have good culture, but when you're losing, it's hard. You're not competitors. I'm going to make you competitive.
>> My dad, he talks about war a lot.
>> SWING. WHERE THE BALL AT?
>> WE fought each other. We push each other. We bled on each other. It can't be them. I'm trying to make him have energy. Bro.
>> WHAT DID I TELL YOU HAD TO DO?
>> Whenever the time comes where we're in the game.
>> My goodness.
>> You have 10, 12 dudes that have been to war with each other. Fire can't burn what fire's already been.
Welcome to the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, for the tip off of Overtime Select. They've earned the respect from the world. Music is playing. The girls are excited. The energy is electric, man.
>> Dope jerseys, dope kicks.
>> All about to go down right here, right now. I love so late. Hello and welcome back to the OTE Arena where we got playoff basketball. It's the number one seed in all of OT FaZe up big against the eighth seed City Reapers. It is the first game of a best of three series in the first round of the OT playoffs between these two teams. Man, FaZe coming out being dominant right off the bat. Pat Wavy, I know we expected it to be a little lopsided, but we was kind of hoping that the City Reapers would kind of find their footing in the playoffs, make a push and be able to kind of have this resurgence and correct the narrative of the City Reapers having this bad season. But so far, it's not looking so good. I mean, Snipe, I got a big question for you that I want to let you guys in the comments to tell me how you feel. When does it become effort over talent? Like, I think half of this with the city we effort thing, man. One thing, the offense might not be flowing. Allowing FaZe to just get whatever they want. Look, look, you got you guys just got to do better effort effort-wise. I need to see better close outs, communication. I don't hear them on defense. I should hear the City Reapers with my headphones on, man. Honestly, honestly agree, man. Um, tough start for the City Reapers, but it's still a lot of basketball left. I want to see Jeremy Jigs continue to push the issue, continue to be aggressive, and hopefully he can do that here in the second half. Gby up top.
>> As FaZe trying to get into their offense.
>> Spear's been great offensively tonight. Spin turnaround jumper.
>> And there you go. Right. Effort. That's the effort we talking about. FaZe gets the offensive rebound. Sperlock with an amazing pass. How did he see him?
>> Nobody blazes getting 50% box out on the best shooter.
>> Once again, almost stolen up top. Cole back to Blaze. Baseline drop takes the bump and HE FALLS DOWN. FOUL on FaZe. Coach Jermaine O'Neal not happy at all with the call. fans have come in as.
>> the biggest threat in OT. When we talked to teams earlier before the season even started, we asked pretty much everybody, Pat, who do you think you're going to meet in the finals?
>> Everybody's Fa. Yeah. Yeah. So, not only did they come in with expectations to be good.
>> They got the best record in OT, they have two players that's all OT, and they would have had three maybe if Goosey could have got here earlier. They got the longest win streak in OT history. They're the number one seed and still the prohibited favorite to go to the OT finals. So, I would say miss the conference, man. I'm more Look what I'm saying. It's kind of I don't like any of the opportunities is getting like none nothing. Oh, great defense by Howard Williams.
>> I mean, we got to shout out the effort of FaZe. David Baler made that defensive rotation and somehow someway got all the way back to Howard Williams and not just got back to him Pat, but he contested the three so well he got a piece of it. say you tripped him.
>> That is all effort.
>> But that that that's what I'm going to that's what I'm saying. Shouldn't be a team out efingering you if you're the number eight senior.
>> A lot of it has to do with this guy right here, man. I mean, Marcus Spears Jr., gold medalist, number one player in the class of 2027. Can't knock him down from the free throw line, but man, he's been playing exceptional all season long.
>> It looks like Tom got something cooking with Jermaine O'Neal right now. standing next to each other.
>> I'm a big fan of Tom getting over his fears, so I got to get him on the Metro Vibe Cam right now. I.
>> I do have coach down here, but he's going to watch his possession.
>> Okay, he should be happy.
>> All right, coach.
>> I know we're locked in right now.
>> Tom is so scared right now.
>> How do you feel you your team has been doing so far? I would right. We uh playing we're playing good from a defensive perspective. Offensively. Uh we've taken too many too many times that we haven't uh.
>> we haven't uh completed the job, right? Uh, we're a big detailed team. Uh, we don't we don't play for half the time.
>> Hey, ask him how he feels about the ref, Tom.
>> I mean, I guess I'll ask you how you're feeling about the refs.
>> We got to do better, man. We got We got to be better. So many times, and this this is way too important. There's so many times that refs are dictating outcomes, right? At the end of the day, man, if if we're going to not call things, just don't call on both sides.
>> Reach.
>> That's right. I think that's right, coach.
>> I do got to say, congratulations. You are the regular season champs, number one seed going into the playoffs. What do we got to do here to win a title?
>> Uh, do what we've been doing. Um, you know, regular season champs, uh, means nothing. Uh, we're going home with the trophy. That that's that's our only goal. That's why we signed up. you know, we told you guys are you on the first call. You know, at the beginning of the year when I was coming from the airport, we had a team call. Uh, I said we're going to win it all, right? And I and I and I said that based off the work that I know that the boys put in every day. I take them through a lot. And coming to, you know, FaZe/Dynamic Prep isn't the easiest thing in the world to do for anybody. If you can get through what we what we take you through on a day-to-day basis, uh, you're ready to go to the next level. And that's what we try to do is prepare these kids for the next level.
>> All right, coach. We got a timeout here. Let you get back with your team. I appreciate you.
>> We got a good third quarter going on. We'll see you guys right after the break. We got the best high school football players from around the nation.
>> Saying taking a shot.
>> OH MY GOODNESS. What a catch.
>> NO WAY.
>> SHOT DOWNFIELD. TOUCHDOWN. He's under the number one quarterback in the nation.
>> WHAT AM I WATCHING?
>> He's amazing.
>> We brawling. Congratulations.
>> Man, the season series between these two teams back.
>> Let's just say FaZe has dominated in every category possible. Points, wins, field goal, blocks, steals.
>> I ain't going to lie, man. I This is why regular season is so important, man. If you play bad, you might get a matchup you don't want. And this is the worst case scenario for the City Reapers to play this team that's been dominating you in every statistical category as soon as you enter the playoffs.
>> Yeah. Nah, this is this this feels morally incorrect. It just it doesn't feel right, man. It doesn't feel right. I I would love to see the city revers a lot more smile on your face, but it's hard to smile when you're playing FaZe. They literally make you not even want to be in the game. Like, can I I'm I'm going to be real with you here and say I've seen a lot of games in this arena, man. Blessed to you say, I've been here for for for a while now. I don't think I've ever seen consistency like this. Now, I've seen some good teams, don't get me wrong, and I've seen some teams pull together some wins, but I think because Coach O'Neal will sub you out if you didn't tie your shoes right, the expectation that they have individually and collectively, the margin of error is so small.
>> They rarely fail.
>> Okay, so think about that, right? Co makes that bucket. He worked so hard for that, bro. Like.
>> he wor he he made 20 moves. He had the spin move behind the back push down.
>> And and it's just two points for two points. So it's like how many times are you going to be able to like.
>> how hard are you going to have to work?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> They have to work so hard. I I do not like I do not like you giving up an easy one for her. Good bucket right there from Jeremy Jenkins and City Reaper string together a couple buckets. This team is going to be hard to beat Pat, but anything is possible, man. Here we go. Third quarter. Dari Spear back to Marcus Spear. The duo.
>> that's dominated OT. Best duo in OTE. Three ball. No good. Rebound.
>> Wait till he adds that to his bag.
>> Spear gets his own board. Spin. Spurlock doesn't want the three there. I love seven doesn't play outside of who he is.
>> OH, second time on the rim. Dari Spear with a big time jump right there.
>> He's the definition of a three-level scorer pack.
>> He got the midi. He can get to the cup. He got the three ball.
>> Grant fake. Oh, he.
>> if he made that better than me.
>> Take a look at Spears as he was able to get to that Baja. Look at that left hand dunk.
>> Wow.
>> Cole Brandon trying to get him back right there.
>> But but that's the difference though. I think if it was FaZe you try to dunk on, they're jumping with you. They're not jumping on the side of you and they're not scared to get dunked on. They're bumping you. They don't want no easy buckets like at two points to O'Neal hurt so much two you get out the game for giving up two points.
>> Let's take a look at the car spirit player card. Diamond player card.
>> And as I mentioned, he's the most efficient player in the league. So I'm not surprised here to see that he's 51% from the right wing and 73% from the paint.
>> Diamond is like a A+ Pat. He don't get no higher than Diamond.
>> I'm surprised he has a cold spot, man. I don't know anywhere actually right. I I don't know anywhere on the co on the court I see the car miss.
>> That's a really good point.
>> Yeah, man. If there's one player with all hot spots, it might be the college go.
>> 58-35 has been here.
>> Control.
>> Jenkins gets it poked.
>> Here comes his press again.
>> And he's Yo, O'Neal is not happy even though they almost got a seal.
>> That's why I'm saying like bro, what he demands from these play. He said it's tough to pat to Tom, but when we put these plays through, everybody can't make it. That's that the margin of error is so low, man.
>> Oh, trade number Jenkins.
>> Jenkins downhill. He is such a strong and good finisher when he get position, man.
>> That's so Julius Randy.
>> Oh, wow. He just told Trey Young, "You can't guard these little kid."
>> Done. Back to Mcgelbury.
>> None. Spears to fake.
>> I use those jumps.
>> Step through.
>> Open three.
>> And they are picking this team apart, man. Getting everything they want. 61-37.
>> Wow.
>> It's like every time the re the Reaper score once scores three times. Like.
>> N Smith still trying to find a rhythm offensively. Tough.
>> Laying right there from Howard Williams.
>> Spear.
>> Oh, turnover there.
>> Go, go.
>> Every time goes out crosses his head.
>> Uhoh.
>> Almost got it to go. Here comes Jimmy. Jen is coming to life. He got 13 points in this third quarter.
>> I want to see him get on the rim. I thought he was when I seen that pathway.
>> I thought he was about to get on that rim. That's one thing he can actually work on. Other than that jump shot, he can be a little bit more athletic.
>> 99 switchability. Pat, what you think about that?
>> He can guard one through five, but one through five cannot guard him.
>> Yeah, that's a good take.
>> Yeah.
>> First free throw good from Jeremy Jenkins, the junior out of Florida. I mean, only if Edgar was a stat, I'd give him a 99.2, man.
>> 21 point game for the City Reapers.
>> Wow. So funny how City Rubers was the best team in OT. Now technically they have the worst record. Coharts was the worst record. Now they're one of the best teams in OTE.
>> Great.
>> One year can change everything, man.
>> City.
>> Oh, great pass. and one little easy guy just was.
>> So, so we got City Reapers fighting for their life to get a clean look.
>> and FaZe is.
>> walking into layups right now.
>> like that. They scored under two. They scored and we're doing 20 seconds left. We're still on the shot clock. There's a 24-second shot clock. Snipe, you got If the You're playing a team that is literally the hardest team to beat in OT, can you make their lives a little harder?
>> 41-63.
>> Hunter at the line.
>> That's Camden at the line. Knocks it down.
>> And now let's see how City Rever Let's just look at how FaZe does that and look at them on defense, man.
>> Pat, my guy, overtime Tom has your favorite person with him on a Metro Bobcam. What up, Tom?
>> Hey, Snipe. I am here with Jelly Fam's Tory Brooks. Huge game last night. Why? Why you Why are you laughing already? Good.
>> All right. So, Jelly Bam gets a massive win last night. You guys take down the Cold Hearts.
>> About 24 hours later, how we feeling?
>> We feeling good. We uh had shoot around earlier. Just sticking to the game plan and hoping to get another one on Monday.
>> Yeah, what do you got to do Monday? Cuz I mean, last night was amazing, but you guys played pretty perfect. What do you got to do Monday to hopefully uh to win that series?
>> Oh, we just got to play the same way and stay together and uh, you know, the game is no runs in the game. You know, we just got to stay together, listen to coach, and follow the game plan. Of course, now I got Mel over here. Melmo, I saw you guys celebrating with the YMG dreamers last night. Was that weird? What happened there? N basically, uh, when Isaac got MVP, everybody woke up for him. Ellie fan, we always had love for him. So, it's like we didn't woke up for him and we just kept the love and they kept the love for us after the game. How good is FaZe?
>> They all last question for you, Tori. When Pat Wavy is yelling at you from the broadcast booth about what to do on the court, what what do you think?
>> I hear him, but like I got to listen to my coaches instead. You think Pat ever makes a good point?
>> Sometimes.
>> Okay. All right. We'll let you guys watch. We can watch coldart jellyf game three Monday night. Back to you, Sn.
>> That was the best vibe cam ever, Tom. My goodness.
>> Good question. At least I know sometimes I help. See.
>> Yo, we got Kam in the building in the playoffs. Yo, there's no place like the OT Arena, man. You never know who going to be here.
>> Coach O'Neal might kill that ref.
>> I'm afraid I'm scared for that ref.
>> Yeah, me too.
>> Oh, he took the glasses off.
>> Hell should be having ref. Come on, man.
>> Not happy.
>> This man has pulled every single foul.
>> Hey man, this why I want to be a coach. So, guys, I get to I can see you being a coach.
>> Like, oh my god. 30 seconds.
>> It's been a complete one-sided game.
>> You ain't calling nothing down here.
>> We get a foul. But coach not mad that he's mad that the ref that he wanted and call a foul. So it ain't about them not getting a foul. You ain't calling. Why you ain't calling?
>> You not miss nothing on the other end.
>> He might get attacked, but they're up 22 so he can he can afford it. Pat.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, hey, coach be lucky. There's some coaches, there's some refs out there in New York that's even worse than they'll coach.
>> The good thing about having a coach like this, you don't have to say nothing to the ref.
>> Like he like whatever you got to say, he already told him.
>> Lucky you don't got Bando as a ref.
>> Oh.
>> Oh, that's tough.
>> Hey. Hey.
>> Foul on the floor.
>> The play was there. 44-66 is a 22-point game.
>> BUT HE'S STANDING WIDE OPEN.
>> City Reapers will retain the basketball from here.
>> I'm scared of Odo sometimes and I'm not.
>> He scares me on a broadcast like being his player, bro. I'm playing with so much like like nerves like I can't play this.
>> Take the ball, man. Dude, look at.
>> Oh, they they missed him.
>> I'll take it.
>> And they you got to you got to make that pass. They get lucky though. Get their own rebound. Will's been doing a great job holding the basket, getting second chance opportunities.
>> He's got six points tonight. FaZe. 20 seconds left on the clock. 10 seconds on the shot clock. Hunter scoop layup and he's going to the line. It's not just funny how train went from the playing for the Charlotte Hornets into the Oklahoma City Thunder.
>> Uh, it just feels like LaMelo, but like imagine Canelo just says, "You know what, Charlotte? Nice playing with you. It doesn't look like we're going to win a championship anytime soon." Hey OKC, how you doing?
>> It is the perfect It's a perfect switch. You went from the technically at the time the team with the worst record in the league, you went to the team with the highest record in the league.
>> And I get some myself.
>> I still get to shoot the rock.
>> Hey man, what are you doing? Sniper Dashio. Are you Are you digging it out with your with your team?
>> I'm out, man. I'm out.

>> Yeah man, I'm out. I don't blame Trey, man.
>> Man, you 10 seconds left in the third quarter. City Reapers trying to end with some type of Oh my goodness. Oh, he got it back just like they drew all the back. Just couldn't get it to go, man. >> Like, comment, and subscribe. Fourth quarter action coming up.
>> Marcus Spears, the number one player in the country. The rankings don't mean anything if you can't back it up on the court.
>> This is Kaden Dalton.
>> I don't chase rankings. I chase respect.
>> Here we go.
>> Here's my attention, young man.
>> Now I'm about to prove that I'm the future OT.
>> Blaze is going down.
>> here. Y'all better watch out.
>> They've been going back and forth all game.
>> I don't care what everybody says.
>> I'm the best player in OT. And we're live. Heat. Heat. Hey, hey, hey. I'd like to take this time to shout out tonight's Adidas 6 fan, Josiah and Jeremiah from South Carolina. They love basketball and especially OTE. And tonight, we're glad to have them at the arena. Josiah and Jeremiah, thank you for being super fans of OTE and both of them alongside my guy over TomTom.
>> Hey, Snipe, we got a duo here. We got Jeremiah and Josiah brothers out here. Who's your favorite OTT team?
>> FaZe. And they're doing pretty well right now. What makes FaZe so good?
>> What makes FaZe so good is their aggressive on the boards. They're aggressive playing. They like to push up. Their defense is also special. They like to spread out and all that. They have their hands up. They talk. It's good. It's It's good.
>> Now you guys are sitting real close to uh Coach Germaine O'Neal. He talks a lot. How's that been? Is he a little Is he a little intimidating? A little scary.
>> Yeah, I say he's a little scary, but they know who he is.
>> That's the That's the best part because you got to coach him right and to make sure you got to do what you got to do.
>> Dari Spears here. Dakari, is Coach O'Neal a little scary.
>> to people who don't know him yet?
>> Hey, good enough. Good enough. Now you're the older brother. Who wins one-on-one and what's the score to 11?
>> 11 nothing me.
>> 11. No, you're not getting a point.
>> Okay. Now that's a lie. That's a lie. Sometimes I do score points on you. Sometimes I even dumped on a once.
>> It's a five foot hoop. It's a five foot who?
>> It's a six foot hoop. All right. I'm going to go rapid fire. Who's a better student between the two of you?
>> All right. You're better at school. Who eats more?
>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Who does uh mom like more?
>> You are you the favorite?
>> Uh, she doesn't really have favorites.
>> She she said doesn't say she has favorites, but she knows he's the favorite.
>> Okay. Oh, are you the favorite?
>> I'm the favorite.
>> We have another brother here. Um uh who would win in a fight between the two of you?
>> He said yes. You can tell he's been there before.
>> He bullies you. Yes. Every day. He's FaZe and you're the City Reapers.
>> Oh man.
>> Okay. Who should have won MVP of OT?
>> Uh, Hunter McGrath.
>> Oh, Hunter McGrath.
>> Hunter McGrath FaZe. I know you guys love him. He He goes to the same He went to the same school as you. If not Hunter, you got Isaac, you got AO, you got Takari. Who's MVP?

>> Oh man, this is one of my favorite games I've ever done.
>> Oh my god. This a lot is going on in this game.
>> And Jeremy Jiggas is getting at it. He's getting into it with everybody on FaZe at this point. He like, "I might not win the game, but I'm going to win the war."
>> Jumper no good. Howard Williams gets the rebound and FaZe.
>> Okay, let's see if we get a fourth quarter come back. Jamie Jenkins.

We right back Monday with another great game. You know, OT playoffs, man. There's going to be a lot of games back to back. That's why I got to make sure y'all subscribe, man. Monday we get the game one that we've been waiting for. Fear God Athletics, Kayen Dry, and Canard Calendarer. Two all OT players going headtohead against RWE and they're all OT players, Parker Robinson and Tayen Kenny. I guarantee y'all, you don't want to miss it, man. I think everybody's waiting for that. >> Can I get your pictures from today's sniper underw.
>> I don't know what to expect from this game pass. I really don't.
>> This is the toughest first round uh series.
>> I think RWE wins game one.
>> I think RWE wins game one and I think uh there cuz I'm going to have to see how game one goes.
>> I expect to defe wins game one. I think fair I think you know it depends.
>> Javon Bard is going to be the pivot point in that game.
>> I want to see this is going to be his first time in the playoffs but they're going against somebody with a lot of experience with Kaden Daltry and Kenneth Francis. They won their state last year. They won it again. They won another tournament this year. Man, this is a running career team. I think they know how to win games. I got fear of God game one.
>> I'm mad at that tape. Well, I'll find out Monday, but right now, City Reapers.
>> They need some help. Fast down 21 with about 10 minutes left in the game. Spear mid-range jumper. No good. Oh, Jeremy Jigggins trying to push the pace. We got.
>> Jaylen Mitchell walking into a three, knocks it down. It's a good sign for Jaylen Mitchell. He's been a good shooter for this City Reapers team all season long. It's good to see him be able to get one to go. Pat, maybe that'll get him going.
>> Yeah, man. It's a lot of time left still, man. There's a lot of time. I feel like you made this a tough point game.
>> None almost had a good look at it, but stepped on the line and City Reapers hit a three, get a stop. Anything is possible. Let's see what happens.
>> Clemens takes the screen, splits the defense, step back. Oh, denied by Goulby. We got a foul. And coach O'Neal has to control himself.
>> Now the hand is on the hip. I mean, that way it wasn't a Damn. Damn, I'd have been upset, too. I would have been upset.
>> Foul on the play.
>> Wait, can't I don't think they can review it. They can't review it, though.
>> I I don't think they can, man.
>> Can we not try? That's why we got to be able to challenge the plays.
>> Let's just say he he's not happy.
>> I mean, man, listen. Good.
>> Look at Tom. You see Tom.
>> online.
>> Hey Cam. Cam.
>> Good trait.
>> Oh man.
>> Tom, what's what's cra What's bubbling in your head right now? I see a question. The question is.
>> I'm going to sit in your face. I'm going to start cheering for him.
>> Okay.
>> FaZe.
>> Can you talk to one of the freshman on the on the bench? Tom.
>> Yeah. That's what I'm saying. So funny. Here we go. Nine minutes left into this fourth quarter.
>> Game one, best of three. FaZe in clear control, but City Reapers.
>> Still got high hopes. Here we go.
>> Spears jumper. No good. Rebound. Mitchell.
>> I literally cannot wait until he gets that down.
>> Styles Clemens got it. Keeps it in. Tight ropes it but stolen. Oh, the pass.
>> and Marcus Spears be headed back to the line.
>> Look at this pass right here though between the legs. You seen him coming.
>> Hey.
>> that's why.
>> you got to go for the dunk. Got to go for the dunk. 61. Fly high, man. Fly high.
>> Marcus Spears at the line. Started off hot. Slow down though a little bit. 10 points on the night.
>> Can't get it to go from the line.
>> You know, you know, actually though, snipe, I'll tell you this. This is probably one of FA is up by 20 points. I feel like this is one of their sloppy drinks, man.
>> Hey, come on. Few missed free throws, a few missed free throws, a few turns.
>> I mean, it's sloppy by who's like, is it sloppy by their standard?
>> Yeah, by standard. You know what I'm saying? And coach doesn't look too happy.
>> I'm about to say I mean, he never look yo, bro. They I've seen them look satisfied.
>> You know, now that we've seen Baze a lot, I think this is like Coach O'Neal's thing.
>> Yeah. I just think this is who he is, man. We just got.
>> like He knows he could like intimidate the refs, intimidate the other team.
>> Intimidate you.
>> 72-54 City Reapers. They need a miracle. They need me, you, and everybody in the chat. Unbelievable.
>> Yeah, but I'm not going to give him all the sauce.
>> Oh god.
>> 67. Get wrong.
>> Hell no.
>> All right, look. I look very ball. Nah.
>> Why is Niles at one?
>> No socks on either. Got it. Hey.
>> Who's Serena Williams sister?
>> Venus.
>> Venus what?
>> Neptune. Neptune. I would describe phases team identity and physical.
>> Goodness gracious.
>> Fast.
>> Showtime. Show time.
>> Consistent. This team is tough.
>> When we get on the floor, there's no playing around. Lock in. The standard never changes. We still going to kill.
>> And this FaZe team has worked extremely hard to get to this point. Coach O'Neal.
>> is on a mission. They want to be the number one team in the league. They want the championship hat. I mean, me said this might Oh, look at just like look how easy that is for FaZe to just get teams to turn the ball over on the inbound. You caught a city pass, man. City Reaper is three on two right now.
>> Blaze keeps it over.
>> Gabe gets one to go.
>> That's what I'm saying. Gabe catches it and he just shoots it. He doesn't make He doesn't over complicate it.
>> He'll put the ball on the floor and try to. Yeah. You kind of you kind of start getting into your your AO back. AO AO that's a problem AO had last year and that's why I think a big difference he made this year last AO felt like he had to do too much to score. You know what I'm saying? This year kind of let all the BC was upset.
>> Let's take another look at that three ball made by Gabe on the Metro Cam. We're not.
>> the cari up top.
>> Oh, that barely missed. Barely missed. Barely missed. Now we got Jaylen Mitch. What do.
>> you mean barely miss? Hit the glass. Pat.
>> I barely missed. That was That was.
>> Oh. Oh. Oh, THEY CALLED IT CLEAN. That's good defense by seven right there. That's the second time.
>> Really? That's the second time Cole trying to go in there and destroy somebody. I ain't going to hold you.
>> He made the best shot.
>> Good pass. Ballerin. He's really good when he gets when he gets in the painting area. He's really good, Pat. We.
>> I like his game, man.
>> Skip pass, out of bounds, turnover. City Reapers, man. Just cannot find a rhythm against the FaZe team. Herlock likes to match up and easy. I mean, and that was straight to the basket right there.
>> Too easy. He made one move and that is too easy.
>> E Smith up top takes the Naza screen and like pass. That's a good extra pass right there. Shot no good. That might be Gab's underrated underwrated skill.
>> Oh, lost it. Lost it. Oh, almost to the ref.
>> The ref's got a little orange on.
>> We got a timeout on the floor.
>> I I don't believe we will.
>> We won't have a timeout on the floor. And.
>> And City Reapers do not convert.
>> That's a smart foul.
>> Wow. Foul. Smart foul.
>> Wow.
>> Smart foul. Heads up play right there by Dari Spear realizing that.
>> Reapers got to get in. They got to get their minds in the game, man.
>> I think I think right now the Reapers just need to start worrying about Yo, what can we do better next game?
>> I feel like this six minutes they should use cuz one thing about FaZe, FaZe is going to play hard. They're going to run their defensive sets. They got to run offensive sets till the whistle. You got to figure something out going into next game from right now, you know?
>> Yeah. Like figure out a weak spot like, "Hey, we can build off this."
>> Yeah. Yeah. You got.
>> cuz right now I don't know what you got to build on. You can't just be playing the play right now. I I don't know. I don't I don't like the idea.
>> Cole step away.
>> Can't get it to go.
>> One-on-one move. One-on-one.
>> Spurlock takes the screen and we got a foul.
>> Hey. Hey. Let's go. 45-high.
>> Seven. Spurlock. 18 points tonight.
>> Wow. I just see JL Whisper. take a timeout.
>> And now he will take a timeout.
>> FaZe still up big against the City Reapers in game one of the best of three series.
>> I'm the reason the entire world is saying the number six. 67.
>> Dictionary.com's word of the year.
>> It's 67.
>> You might be the most popular kid in the world.
>> I'm so much more than those two numbers.
>> BE HERE NOW.
>> I'M heading to Kansas next year with eyes on the 2027 NBA draft. But first, I have one mission this season.
>> FEAR OF GOD ELIMINATED RW.
>> TK win championship. This is my.
>> 10 seconds left. 5, 4, 3.
>> for the OT championship.
>> I told y'all man, our destiny boy, our destiny. Let's take a look at our icy hottest play of the game. Who else would it be, man? A quick hands leading to a fast break opportunity. Seven. Spurlock throws a lob to Dari Spear as he finish it with a onehanded slam. Look at that pass. That's crazy right there.
>> Definitely.
>> Get up high in the air. Perfect pass right there delivered by Seven Spurlock to give his teammate an easy dunk. And that was our icy hottest play of the game.
>> I wish I I wish I could end up there with seven spray lock.
>> Yeah.
>> 13 points tonight for Spear.
>> He probably won't talk tonight.
>> Yeah, he probably have to run for that.
>> You hit a jump shot, Gooby.
>> Yo, Gooby don't know you, bro. He not talking to you. Let's see. Let's see. Gby jump shot loaded down for Willy. Listen to Pat Wavy. No.
>> They try to get it inside and they do, but foul on.
>> He's not happy with the call.
>> Bad foul with 1.4 left. I let him catch.
>> See what they do here.
>> Now they get a whole new 14 seconds on the clock to create some offense. mattered by the show.
>> McGryy up.
>> Spears knocks it down. Two-pointer foot on the line.
>> That's a good shot right there. That might separate him between.
>> And they're still in the zone press of 19. Mitchell.
>> look at that contest pad. They are That's what I'm saying.
>> Playing defense so relentless right now.
>> The effort snipe after a snipe.
>> They're going back. They're feeding Marcus Spear. They really want him to get involved here. Step over. Can't get it to go. Good shot. Hands.
>> everywhere. Pat.
>> it's like an effort. They're just ready.
>> Look at this trap right now. The defense is enticing and they get a turnover.
>> Man, hey, how about being up 19, five minutes left in the game and.
You're still applying pressure like you're losing? That's a different mentality right there, Pat. Too many passes.
Yo, Pat. No. Yo, he's not talking to you, man.
I'm talking to you if we get distracted. And I got Tom. He knows ball. We got a special guest with him on the Metro Bobc.
Thanks, Knight. I'm here with Bonnie Javon Bwell.
Hi.
No.
Good. What's your favorite food? No.
What you Anyways, what do you think of the game so far?
I think it's kind of entertaining.
I thought it would be a different outcome, but first it feels like people are a little intimidated by FaZe. Would you Would you agree with that?
Me?
Just people? No. No. I didn't say you. I mean, are you saying you?
No, I'm not saying me. I'm I'm watching. I'm scouting.
You think they're pretty good?
Yeah, for sure.
Are they the other than RW? You would say they're the best team.
I mean, I wouldn't say that. I'll say they're a good team, though.
Okay. So, Monday night, you kick off your playoff journey against Kaden Dory and Fear of God. RWE lost to them last year in the playoffs. You weren't here, but it was a it was a pretty terrible loss. Coach Frasier, your head coach, RW, do you think he still has nightmares about that series?
Uh, yeah. We actually um we actually just rewatched that game in the film uh the film room the other day and uh yeah, like I just seen the energy in like the room. I was like, damn, I feel like I feel like I was there. I feel like I was there last year. I feel like I lost.
Yeah, I think so.
And now obviously you joined the team in the middle of the year. You're a big part of what RWB does. What does Javon Bardwell bring to the RWB team to hopefully make a title run?
Energy. dog energy
like real dog like like king king corso like
Yeah do do you bark?
N I don't bark and now next next thing Quinton Wilson from the col obviously you guys are tied up one to one in your series what are you going to do Monday night to get a win uh just play harder defense um um the other night we played we was in zone and we really wasn't like moving as much so we just need to move Why Why do you think you guys lost for Jelly Ben last night? I was surprised if I'm being honest.
I mean, they had a good game. I think the reason you think about Pat Wavy, the broadcaster, always cheering for Jelly Ban. He wants you guys to lose. You think that's cool?
Hey, bro. Hey, I meant to tell Pat something. I'm like, "BRO, PAT, PAT, why you was here for them?"
That's that made me mad, bro. We should hat cheers for jelly banana turn on yesterday, bro.
I said,
it's bad vibes over there. Thank you guys for joining us. Back to you, Snipe.
Man, they turning on Pat Wavy, man. My goodness. Let's take another look at Camden McGillry, though. Look at this layup he made. It was impossible. He got bodied up, threw it up, and made nothing but net. Like, how do you make that?
Yeah. Yeah. That's why I said, "Oh, that is a tone."
That's crazy. No backboard or nothing. just got it over.
Big time play right there from a big time player.
Man, I feel like any of the players are giving me any hard time, man. I'm just going to make friend with Faze and then tell face. Listen, these guys are talking about me. They don't like me when you play.
Now you switching another team, Pat.
No, no, no, no, no. They got to be stopped.
They like the bodyguards.
You got to be stopped.
Am I not allowed to have bodyguards?
I feel like I'm a sacred person. Like I feel like sacred people need sacred bodyguards. I feel like
we got some good games coming up, man. waves out of pocket. We got the series we've all been waiting for. Game one against Fair God Athletics in RWE Monday 7:00. Then we got game three, winter go home cohort Jellyfam. Then Friday, game two against this very same series, FaZe City Reapers. Last but not least, we got more RW.
Yo, you want to hear a hot take? And I hope nobody from the City Reapers gets mad at me because I love Coach Miguel and I love the City Reapers as a team and the kids individually. I think game two is going to be worse.
I agree.
I really do. I think game two might lose by 40.
Yeah.
And I say that with the most love and respect I possibly can.
Look at this. Oh my goodness, my bro. This is like complete. This is Yo, Pat Wy, this is borderline annihilation, bro.
DAMN. I'M GOING TO SAY THIS LIKE respect and this is all respectfully. They don't look like they deserve to be on the court with Faze. Look at this. He walked to the basket. He walked to the basket. You think the diamond nose would have put up more of a fight?
I don't I doubt it. I don't know, man. I'm done just diving on the floor, man. Yo, he just walked to the basket. The nearest defender was me. Wow. Wow. Wow. Have the City Hoopers Jav wide over Jamie Jenkins. Howard Williams to the basket.
We got to see that lob one more time, man. We got to see that. That was a crazy pass.
Wow.
Look at the catch though. He passes.
And that's what I mean. Like that to be fair, that's not a good lob, but he's so athletic. He caught it from here and still dunked it.
Your pass is coming from your 61 center though snipe like like make it make sense.
Austin Gby with his best Sniper Jones impression of the night.
I want to see some freshman work from this phase team early.
Hey Tom.
Yeah Snipe.
How you feel about this game man?
What's up Snipe?
How you feel about this game brother? Um, look, I think that uh, you know, it was a good uh, two hours of my time.
Yeah,
I got to hang out with my boys.
I got to watch the best team in OTE play. And, uh, I'm nervous about the cold hearts on Monday night. Hey everybody in the chat, let me know how you guys felt about this game. How you guys feel like me and Tell me how me and Snipe did. Do y'all feel like we did an amazing job? Tell us. Just I just want to hear you guys say it though.
Oh, nice foul there.
Oh yeah.
There we go. We got a smile by Coach O'Neal. Very sarcastic, but the smile it is. D Smith got the 611. Are you going to rise up on the 611?
Yes, he is.
Tom, who you got on the Metro Bobc
That was nice. What happened?
Something cool. Something cool. Obviously terrible lob, but I saved it for
I told you the bad. We threw it,
Marcus Spears. But we we going to work on it, though. We going to work on it. Well, I will say earlier in the game, you had a little breakaway. It didn't go so well.
Yeah, I lost the ball. Some sweat got my eyes, but we bounced back down here, so that's all that matters.
You guys are playing great. Playing amazing. Are you happy with this performance for game one in the OT playoffs? Are we satisfied a little bit?
No. Yeah, I'm very happy. We got our little dudes in, so that's all that matters.
Wow.
And now you got a really good team as you, Dakari, Marcus, Seven's amazing. You got a lot of other guys. How do you guys figure out who's having a good night, who's going to be the focal point? How do you guys balance all that? Uh,
it's chemistry. We all know each other. We know where we are on the court. We know who has a hot hand and we just got good chemistry. That's all that matters.
Does coach O'Neal actually need glasses? Is are those prescription or are those for looks?
No. Yeah, he needs the glasses. But when he's angry, you go see him take them off. So, you'll know.
Yeah. What's the most angry he's ever been with you?
Most angry he's ever been with me. Probably this game when I found after I missed the dunk, but we bounced back, so we're good.
Now, you were a name McDonald's All-American last week. Congratulations. How special was it to get that honor and and to be part of that crew? Uh, it's very special knowing all the great people that have been McDonald's all-American like my coach over there. So, it's just a surreal feeling and very proud of it.
Did he say anything to you because you're McDonald's and he's been one?
Uh, he said obviously he takes pride in it cuz he's been one, but he just knows what it's like.
Awesome, man. Congratulations again. We'll see you in a little bit. It's Austin Gby, fellas.
Appreciate it, Tom. Austin Guzby and Kenny are two McDonald's All-Americans here at OT. Welld deserved. Tom, you should have asked Traan how does it feel to be on the opposite end of the stick.
Yeah. Hey yo. Yeah. Tom, ask him that.
Well, you want me to ask him?
Ask Traan how does it feel to be on the opposite end cuz he he could have really been being beat 67 to 90. This could have been him. This could have been your fate.
I'm here with Trey. Now Trey, you were on the Reapers to start the year.
Are you happy with your decision to be on the other side? for sure.
Is it a little extra special to destroy your ex team?
A little bit? I mean, there's no bad blood. It's just, you know, it's really good to be in this position. It's really good to be part of this team, this culture. Just been a really good change.
And I think you're now up to what,400ish career points around that. How great of a career with this has this been? How special would it be to end with an OT championship?
Man, it mean the world. Um, it's crazy to even think about this being my last year. Uh, feels like just yesterday I was a freshman. It feels like I mean even the dream try out feels so far away, but um, you know, it's been amazing and just to end it with a championship would be the best ending, honestly.
Would you agree you're a much better player and shooter than Sniper Jones and Pat Wavy?
Um, I saw Snipe shoot one time. It looked like it hurt, so I would say yes. Pat, I've never seen him shoot, but he looked like he can't shoot. All right, back to you guys.
Hey, man. Much respect cuz I ain't going to hold you, man. That kid can shoot the basketball and he can really shoot the basketball, man. So, if I'm going to be dissed, at least allow me to be dissed by a shooter. And Trey Nun can shoot the ball. Yo, during his dream try out, they had him doing like this NBA workout shooting threes.
Made like 15 in a row.
Yo, bro, he made like 15 in a row. And I'll be honest with you, I'm not doing that. I'm not making 15 in a row, especially not now. Okay.
So, Shay N, as much as I would like to clap back, you got it, brother. You got it. 22-point game.
Why did Jermaine O'Neal still looking mad at 27?
Cuz he still is mad, Pat. He's mad. Okay, freshman. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Freshman. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, you when you got the young guys in who don't usually play, it's a sign that she either up by a lot or down by a lot. Three ball. Okay. Okay. Yeah. It's all happening right now for Faze.
Damn.
Right when you feel like you had them. And this one
is all over phase in dominating fashion
takes the one game lead in a best of three series over the city reapers. The number one seed will prevail in game one over the number eight seed. What a game Pat. I mean, from from start to finish, FaZe just dominated.
Yeah, man. Snipe, I won't lie to you. This this was a oldfashioned beatd down.
The shooting star, the Sniper Jones shooting star of the game is none other than Seven Spurlock. He played amazing. He was the shooting star of the half. And it's only right. He doubled down and was the shooting star of the game. He did everything tonight on offense, on defense, shot the three even well tonight. He got to the paint, threw lobs. I mean, he did everything but mop the floors. Man, he was an exceptional piece to this win tonight against the City Reapers. And I know he has all the confidence in the world that they can end this in a 20- sweep, but my guy overtime Tom is locked in with the Sniper Jones player of the game right now. Actually, got the whole team with them. Tom, what's going on down there?
I got the whole fade squad down here looking great. We got seven spurlock, 22 points, six assists in your first OT playoff game. How are we feeling?
Uh, feeling good. Just want to thank the guys behind me for helping me get in this position and just great.
Now, this team is very close. Who's the most annoying player on your team?
Um, I don't know. It's a lot of them. I give you three. Him right here. Um,
I'mma do Hutter, too. Now, I'mma do him right here. Hey,
how many of you guys would it take to beat Coach O'Neal in a fight?
It would just be me, but like I'm going to take like five of us, six of us.
Okay, now you won game one. That's one of nine. You got to win nine if you want to win this whole entire thing. What do we got to keep doing? What's the squad got to keep doing to get that done?
Just keep staying together and just win nine straight games. Sweep everybody.
Are we expecting a sweep?
Yeah, totally.
All right, get it done, man. Sign out for us. Congratulations to Seven Square and the Bay. Amazing job, Tom. Appreciate it as always, man. Let's take another look at the playoff bracket to see how it shaped up after this first game won by Faze in the best of three series. Here we have it. FaZe up one. They win another game. They win another match. It's over. They sweep the City Reapers. RW still looking for their first game on Monday. Coharts one to one tied. Next next game wins. We appreciate you guys so much for tuning in to OTE playoff basketball. But don't forget, we got more basketball on Monday. It's a double header. Winner go home game and a game one to a brand new series. Friday's game even better for Pat Wavy. Overtime Tom, all the beautiful people behind the camera you don't get to see. I'm Snipe Jones. We thank you so much for watching. Like, comment, subscribe. We'll see you next time for OT playoff basketball.
