The Golden Horde are like the Malions in some sense. If you leave them alone to set up their economy, you are dead. So, what ends up happening is that 90% of players go for extremely early aggression, like Japan with their dark age spears or Mongol with their tower rushes. But with this build, I'll show you a way where you can get out of the dark age safely, no matter what s you're facing. I will also show you how to reach that juicy point in the game where you will be spamming indestructible cadry endlessly with your superior economy. Let's get into it.

Start by sending every villager to a sheep. Then sending one villager to build the uvu and two guys to the gold mine. Also, send your rally point to the sheep. After completing the ubu, the villager will build the golden tent and then go to the gold mine. Now, make sure your scout leaves one or two sheep before going away on a longer scouting pattern because otherwise you will run out of food before aging up. Now, make sure you place one of your starting sheep in the gold mine's gar like this, making sure it is under the TC attack range. And once you have mined 100 coal with these three villagers, send them to gather from the sheep. This part is extremely important because if the opponent tries to darkage spearman rush you, you will be able to repair the gear in case they try to destroy it.

Now, at around the 250 minute mark, you should be approaching the resources needed to a up. Set your rally point to the wood and leave it there for pretty much the rest of the game. Once you have enough resources, a up with a can and to goods, which will make these units tankier and cheaper. Okay, so if at exactly this point you have a bunch of spearmen hitting your gear or your ubu, there is a little variation that you will have to make while aging up in order to not lose any buildings at all. I will cover that in the very first example game of the video. So if you are interested in that part, I'll discuss it there.

Now let's continue with the build. While aging up, take five villagers from the sheep and set them together from the straggler trees. I put six in this example, but five will be more optimized. Once you have enough wood, send the villagers to build a girl at the wood line. And after the villagers at the gold finish the sheep, they will go back to the gold mine. Now, if you are not being attacked 10 or so seconds before aging up, take four villagers from the woodline and send them to the closest gear pack. Take one more villager from the woodline and send it to your second stone to make an ubu. As soon as your age up is completed, and don't forget to immediately start producing a can and a batch of toots from your golden tent. Never stop making toot for the rest of the game. By the way, the villager that is building the second dubu should go to the deer pack as soon as it's finished for a total of five.

Once you have enough resources, start researching wheelbarrow and the first wood upgrade. Then build a tower on your deer pack and a couple of military production buildings. Remember to place the buildings near your towers so they gain a 20% production speed from your edict. At this point, make sure to scout the enemy with your ken and targets. Don't just attack the villagers, but also pay attention to what they're making in their base. Use the eagle ability from the scout to see their production buildings and make units based on what they are making. For example, if you see stables, then make spearmen. If you see barracks, then make archers. If you see archery ranges, then make kix. Take into account that kixik cost a lot of gold. Archers cost a lot of wood, and spearmen are more heavy in food and less so on wood. So, this is where you will need to start taking villagers off of your woodline and redistributing them across your resources depending on what you want to make. Also, making car from the barracks is going to be good in any situation due to the armor buff they provide to your whole army.

Now, your objective at this point is to make a really big army and make your opponent fight you. Make sure you make a blacksmith and upgrade your stuff depending on what your army composition is. At some point, you will start floating a ton of wood. So, every time you float 250 wood, take four villagers from the wood line and make a stockyard. One of the strongest points about the Golden Horde is how good and how safe their food economy is. While you're safely gathering from sheep under your base the whole game, your opponent will have to go out into exposed resources. So, take advantage of this and raid them constantly. Your objective now is to make a large enough army to either kill your opponent with a more massive army or to defend yourself until you can reach the castle. If you feel you have enough space and map control to a shop, transfer most of your wood workers to the gold and the food and stop producing units. Once you reach the required resources, cancel any toss you have in production from your golden tent and Asia up with the Moskov Yasak. At this point, make two to three stables and use your food and gold to start producing kix nonstop. In this example, I go for khik to goodut archer and karash composition, which is incredibly good. But as I said before, try to produce counter units to what your opponent is making. Also, you will not be able to produce any targets while aging up. So, take this chance to research the first stockyard upgrade with your stone. Research any of the first economic upgrades you missed like specialized pig. And as soon as you age up, research uvu offering, upgrade your units to veteran, and start producing targets once again from the golden tent. If you have reached this point without taking much damage, you should probably have an incredibly good economy and should start producing a ton of units to start thinking about ending the game. Don't forget your third ubu, by the way. And from now on, take advantage of your incredibly large army to start attacking your opponents everywhere. By the way, don't forget that as the golden horde, you can build walls, too. So, whenever your resources start running out, make sure you wall yourself up so you can gather from more exposed resources safely. And this is pretty much it. Don't forget to never stop building structure. Keep building production buildings. And if you have stone to spare, make sure you research increased supplies for a 50% production speed increase and stable reinforcements. So your toot and kic production is increased to batches of three instead of two.

Now how do you counter this strategy? The first thing that you have to do, and you can do this with any civilization, it doesn't matter if it's good or bad at it, is to dark age spearman rush. So, of course, this is going to be really good with civilizations like Japan, Lancaster, HRE, and Mongol. But you can actually do this with any civilization. You just have to know a really good build order because this can vary depend depending on which civilization you're playing. But doing a dark age spearman rush is really, really good against the Golden Horde. The reason is because they have to make a Nouvo, which [music] in almost every map in the game is going to be outside the TC range. And they also have to mine gold and they cannot really defend themselves really effectively in the dark age because they cannot produce uh spearmman yet. Well, they can, but it's going to be really low and really costly. And their towers are also more expensive than normal. They cost 150 or 175 wood uh somewhere around that ballpark. Uh so you will always have a chance to at least deny gold or at least start hitting the ubu really early. And if they don't respond correctly, they can even lose the ubo. After that, you can use your spears to just counter the can and the tootss that are going to come out and to deny the second uh ubu as well as soon as they h up.

Now, if you don't want to dark age spearman rush, there are two options you can do. The first option is that you go for a heavy pressure in the futilage. So, attack the gold, attack the ubo, and raid the wood. The wood is really important because they need wood for everything. They need wood for the stockyards, uh, for production buildings, and for their really expensive towers. So, just keep attacking the uvu. Don't let them get the second duvo as well. If they get it, then just go for it and start attacking it. They take a little while to take off uh from the fetal age. So if you are a civilization that has a really good feudal age army, you can take advantage of this. Their army is not the best in the futal age. Tor goods are not knights. They are really tanky cavalry units that deal really low amount of damage. So take that into account and don't be afraid to bite them in the f.

The second option is that if you did go for spearmman rush, you can go fast castle after that. So the bad one of the bad things about the golden horde is how long their aup takes even if you start with dark age spearman. You can get to the fast castle age really really quickly much quicker than your opponent with some civilization. So for example let's take as an example Japan. Japan can start with dark age spear rush and then get to past castle at like 8 minutes or something like that something crazy like that. So that is something you can do once you are in castle age eight or 9 minutes or even less depending on the sift. You can start spamming really powerful units, crossbows, spearmen knights uh to counter their units. They're still feudal units and if they want to go to cath behind you, they will have to stop producing units for a very long time because their Asia takes 2 minutes to complete. So this is something you can take into into account.

Okay, so here we go. The first game is going to be against a Japanese opponent. I am going to go a little bit slowly on this start because this game is extremely important for you guys to watch. The reason is because against certain civilizations like Japanese, Lancaster, Ottomans, every any civilization that can go dark spears, you are going to have to pay a lot of attention in the early game because they will want to kill your UVU or deny your gold or do something. So here we're just following the build as is. And in the meantime, look at what our Japanese opponent is doing. So they have cheaper barracks. So they can go for spearman really really easily. And they will not run out of food as easily as other civilizations because they also can put a farmhouse on the the berries and gather from them. So they will save a lot of u of food under their base like you see here. So he's actually going for a barracks rush right now. And as you can see his vision, he already discovered that my Ubu is on the front of my base. My gold is also on the front of my base. So this is a terrible spawn for me. And I will have to defend this pretty pretty well if I want to get out of the dark age as unscathed as possible. So here comes the first spearman. As you can see here, I'm almost already done with the gold. So even though he has a spearman right here coming to attack my villagers, I already have 100 gold uh the gold that I need here. uh on the top of the screen in order to age up. So, I don't need any more gold. And if he decides to keep attacking my G because I have my villagers here gathering from this ship, I don't have to walk all the way back to my uh to my DC, I can just keep them here. And because the g functions as a universal drop off point for any resource, I can just drop off the wood, the food here. He cannot attack my villagers because they are under the protection of my DC. If he tries to attack them, I will garrison my villagers here and the spearman will die. H And if this starts to get too low, uh then I can just repair it with the villagers here. So there's I am not going to lose this gear. And in the meantime, he's also sending more spearman to attack the U. We will see exactly what I do uh to counter this. He even sends u another spearman to attack the Ubu. So he normally when people spearman rush you, they always go just for two three two or three spearman. This Japanese player actually decides to go for four. And now take a look at this. I immediately after I clicked my age up, I put every single villager that I had under my TC to mine uh wood from the strier trees. Not from the woodland because I don't have uh I don't even have wood for a girl yet, but I have from the strier trees. And the idea with this is that I am going to have actually I left six on sorry seven on food. You can see the the villager distribution here because I still want to get the the can and the toots as soon as I age up. So as soon as these guys finish with the sheep, I send them to the wood because I obviously I cannot keep mining gold. And as soon as I have the wood needed for my fortified outpost, I started placing it here right next to my yuv. And I will have just enough time to finish this outpost before he finishes killing my yu. And this is a perfect placement because if he tries to stop my outpost, these villagers are under the protection of the TC still. Uh so when it starts burning, I just send one villager to start repairing it. And then when the outpost finishes, I can garrison and I can start killing the the spearman that were trying to kill the Uoo. So now we have successfully survived a five a four spearman rush uh with a with one of the weakest civilizations in the dark age in the game. I I think it's probably the weakest civilization in the game in Dark Age. And now what we can do, we had to we we need an outpost anyways. So what we can do next is just place our our uh military production buildings around this outpost because now we will have a 20% where where is it? 20% production speed on this archery range. And that means that I will be able to get rid of these dark age spearman extremely quickly. So here I tried to kill one spearman. It works out perfectly. And he just goes into destroy my gear and then I just go with the can. The cannot deal with uh three spearman. Obviously, it's a cavalry unit. So, what I do is I just send him across the map to harass somewhere. So, here's probably where the berries are. So, that's where I'm sending him to harass. [music] By the way, he he actually didn't even finish killing the gear. So, what I did is just repair it with my gold villagers. And now we transition into exactly the same build that I showcased in the beginning of the video. Three on gold, 10 on food. Uh I will probably put some more on on food um soon enough and the rest on on wood and the rally point on wood for the literally the rest of the game. Now you might be wondering what if he attacks your gold. Well, now I have archers. So he cannot attack my gold. And now I have a map control because I have cavalry units. Uh, I don't have my my toots yet on production. I'll probably uh make them soon enough, but now I have map control because uh my cavalry unit is here and his spearman are stuck defending uh on his base. I wouldn't Okay, make sure you don't lose the can like I did. This is incredibly important not to lose it because the can is worth I think 100 and something stone. So losing the can like that is incredibly incredibly bad.

Now let's see uh what the follow up from this Japanese opponent is. So he is going straight into castle. If you see a tower on a gold and no other production buildings as you can see here he only has the starting barracks. That means he is going for a castle rush. Uh also as you can see here he doesn't have that many wood only five and he's going straight for all of these food sources. So he's definitely going for for a castle. Uh, I am sending my archers here to harass his food sources and I'm also going around uh with the cannon looking for damage. So now I go into the deer without an outpost because I know he's stuck in his base. He doesn't have a stable. So I don't I don't need an outpost here. I can just go into the deer uh without problems. And once I got rid I once I got map control, I also went for the secondary U as well. So now let's look at what's happening in the game because I see that he's going for for a castle rush. I don't see any more units. I just keep producing uh a couple of of spearmen of archers, sorry. And I start producing a blacksmith. I I just go into the regular build and I don't produce a barracks. I produce a sable because the barracks is not going to help me yet. Uh the barracks is not that good uh against an outpost. I would rather have Kik. So that is what I'm going for. I lost my my scout, by the way. So I needed to produce scouts. And now I'm going into Kik's Khik archer in order to prevent him from getting uh this gold right here. So when you're attacking the tower, he is making the correct choice. Actually, no, he's making the incorrect choice, which is attacking the the toots. Now he switches to the archers, which is the correct choice. And my archers should be attacking his spearman, which is uh what I should be doing. Now I need to go back because um his uh spearman are pretty good against my torus and I only have two cavalry units here which is not enough uh to deal with this with this tower. I don't have any units yet because I am focusing on my economy. So I actually my my army is actually pretty pretty crap. I only have a few harshers uh the what's it called? The scouts and one to good and the can. So, um, I am not doing pretty good in the army department, but he's also very delayed. It's 9 minutes 40. He's still not aging up. He's close to aging up, but he's not aging up yet. So, this is what you have to do as the golden horn. Keep them distracted. Keep the pressure up and try to delay their age up as much as you can. Use your your eagle. By the way, guys, this is very important to see what they are doing. I see that he's making horsemen. So, I know his Aishop is delayed because he if he had to go into horsemen, that means that he has less resources to put into his Hop, but he's finally at 10 minutes into the game going for the floating gate here on the back. Uh, but at this point, he I have gained enough space to set up my economy. I have uh wheelbarrow. I have I don't I I forgot the double products. Don't do that because it's very important. I am already going into into my first stockyard too. And I also go into double stable. And at this point, when you see I don't know that he's aging up yet, by the way. Uh but when you see that he's aging up, you have to go into a barracks because you will need pier to counter the mounted samurai that they will have or the castle knights. Be it doesn't matter which civilization is, but if they go castle, they will most likely have castle knights. So now I try my best to target the spearman uh with the archers. He tries his best to target the archers with his swordsmen. Uh, but I have more more units and better units as well. He he also loses the horsemen here with the khiks that were with the toots that were uh coming to to defend to to reinforce. Uh so here I still using the archers to defeat the spearman. He's making a lot of spearman. But when when it's only one or two or three spearman and you have this many uh cavalry units, you can just target the spearman without uh carrying the world. So I'm trying to kill this outpost. I know that he's in castle now. So, I'll probably go into a barrack pretty soon. I'm not having a barracks yet, but I'm trying to keep up the pressure, but because it took me a long while to target this, he he had enough time to upgrade his outpost, and now it has a lot of HP, so I'm probably not going to be able to to destroy this. I I'm actually don't remember what happens in this game. Uh, but he's already going into mounted samurai, but as you can see here in the top part, he doesn't have gold. He is gold starred. All his gold are here on the top as you can see in the map. And I know that I know that his golds are on the top. The only other goal that he can go to is this big gold here, but I I was pretty sure he wasn't going to go for that because it's really risky. It's on my side of the map. So, I was just focusing on trying to get him off this gold. He still doesn't have any gold. He's he actually has a ton of food and wood because he doesn't have the resources to spend on on mounted samurai. He wants mounted samurai, but he can't get them. So, he built a market uh to sell resources and get gold for mounted samurai. But because he was distracted over here with a couple of archers that I sent uh that gave me space to keep attacking the uh the thing. And now it is I these few uh units that I have here are not going to be enough to get this. So, I just go away and I try to keep my army strong. And now I went into barracks and I am rallying my barracks into this into the gold because I don't have any towers here or anything. If he want if he goes here with a mounted samurai, I'm going to be in big trouble. So at in this position, what you have to do is not panic. You just have to keep raiding and keep denying resources because as long as he doesn't have gold access, he is not going to have the advantage of of mounted samurai. And I I also uh started raiding in both sides. So I get a lot of villager kills here with these cashix and tooth. Well, he was distracted with these kixiks over here. And by the way, he is mining gold over here. Like I said before, it is really risky, but I have not seen it yet. So I am not targeting that position at this point. So I just keep making kixiks. Uh keshix are even though they're not as good as castle knights, they can still compete pretty well uh against castle knights if they are in in really big numbers. So I just keep targeting this spot because I know his gold star. And in the meantime, I go for other spots. So, obviously, two mounted samurai are going to destroy three Kix and targets. So, uh I don't want to fight that. So, just keep raiding, guys. This is a raiding civilization. You have so many tools to raid effectively. Uh here you I could probably take this fight against one mounted samurai. Although, if he targets pretty well, he can he can kill the low health ones. So, I just decide to go away. So, yeah, just keep raiding. Uh, I go for a a pretty big wall here just in case he wanted to to raid me. And look at my resources. I am now going into into the castle, but I need a ton of units uh before I do so because if I go into castle and then he decides to take his army and attack me and I don't have anything to defend, then I am going to die. So, don't try to go into castle without any defenses. It is really important. By the way, I'm still not sure if I saw uh yeah, this gold is actually really clutch. I don't see I don't even know if he saw my my knights going that way. But yeah, that that was really impressive. And now I just keep raiding. Look, if I I know his arm is here because I have units here. So, what do I do? I come in from the other side. This is what you have to do. This how how you raid. Uh I don't know if I saw Yeah, I saw this this Shinto coming out to grab relics. He's going for this one, but I saw him just in time. So, now that he sees my army here, he moves the rest of his army there to defend. And I take that opportunity to actually uh gang bang this lone mounted samurai. Uh so, as you can see, you can fight against mounted samurai even even if you have feral age units, which is really nice. And now, uh because I killed his mounted samurai over here, I take that opportunity to go in from the other side. I just keep repeating that. Keep repeating that until you get the Aup. The Aup is really slow. So, you have to be really good at raiding with the civilization because that is what's going to gain you space. But now, I am approaching I'm approaching the Aup. So, what I I tried to go back with these units because these units are actually extremely extremely low in HP. So, they're probably not going to be very useful uh useful at raiding. And now I have a ton of spearman uh to defend myself from the mounted samurai. So, that's what I do. Uh he he cannot raid me because if he does I am going to destroy him with a bunch of spearman and he as you can see doesn't have a single archery range because he because he has been uh locked into this tiny portion of his base of the map. He doesn't know what I'm doing. He just started raiding uh a couple of seconds ago. But I am actually now at the point where I have so many farms. Look at this. My economy is already really really good. Look at this. All these farms. All of this saved gold. I already put another 45 outputs here just for vision. Uh and now I'm also probably going to go for my my third ubu somewhere here. So now look at look at the army. I have a bunch of spearmen. I have units here. Uh a bunch of khiks going around raiding. He tried to raid me here in the back, but I had so many spearman that I could just plead my army and attack it uh attack his his spearman from the backside. And now the raiding is going to start. So I use my main army here uh to defend the this gold. And while my my two groups of of Kashik are raiding. So try to always do this guys. Raiding from two sides is extremely important. Really really important. And right now I already have all of my units bettered up. So veteran kix, better veteran everything. I have all I'm also going to crossbows because I know he has mounted samurai. And if I can prevent him from going into mounted samurai, he has 13 at the point. I have uh all of the tools to deal with them. So I just keep going into git kix keep going into to gooduts. Keep going into spearman and crossbow. So his army right now is actually [ __ ] against what I have. And he doesn't have that many farms. Only the farms from the gorilla storehouse. A couple more here that he's just getting. Uh [music] and in the meantime, look at this beautiful thing. So all all of these farms are already set up. I have 13 farm gatherers. 30, sorry. So my economy is already completely set up. And he doesn't have anywhere to raid. Look at I already walled myself off. I put my my rally points here because this is the only point where he can come in with units. I already have all of this vision. So if he comes around here, I am already going to see him uh coming around. Meanwhile, he doesn't have [ __ ] He only has this world which is not completed. And I can still come in from this side to raid. So that is what I'm doing. So what I'm doing right now is just gaining time. And as you can see my economy, let's actually look at the economy. Look at the economy. It is not even close. And that is reflected right now in the army. Look at the the size of my army as you can see it here in the numbers too. My crossbows are targeting the the the mounted samurai. The some of I I pulled some of my spearman back to to also uh prevent that raid uh from uh killing all my crossbows. He still got a lot of my crossbows uh even after that trade. But these trades, even though it seems like he's winning the fight, although not by much actually. No, I think I ended up winning because I had so many uh spearman. No, no, he he ended up winning. Okay. Okay. Because he had he he started to go into archers. But these trades are actually really good for me because I have infinite economy. In the meantime, I can go to raid with my canon, my to and my kix. And look at the stream of units that keep coming and it is not going to end. So even though he can take better trades uh because he has a better army. He has mounted Samurai and Jumi which is really really good. It doesn't matter because I have so many units he I have survived even though he went into early barracks. I survived and I managed to set up my economy in a way that I can endlessly reproduce this army and he cannot. He is not in a position to endlessly reproduce. So this the the the fight that he took before those losses are doesn't mean [ __ ] for me, but it does mean a lot for him because he cannot reproduce his army. And now he after he sees my reinforcements, he just decides to tap out.

Okay, so for the second game, I got a Knights Templar matchup. So this I'm going to go much faster in this game because this is an actually really long game. So I don't want to spend 40 minutes here uh casting this game. So, we're going to be going a little bit faster. And the difference from this game uh to the other one is that I assumed that because he was KT, he was going to go for a dark age spearman rush. KT is also really good at doing that. Uh but actually, as you can see, he's not going for that. Uh he just he just went into straight into the Asia. I still did the exactly the same build because uh even though you may go a little bit slower on the age of like a couple of seconds maybe from from a regular build, it is still extremely important that you always start like this because you never know when an opponent is going for dark age unless you go straight into their base to scout. So yeah, at this point I got six sheep with Ncott uh which is not that much to be honest, but still we are going to go into that. And my opponent here went for the France uh Asop which I have not seen in a long while. So this actually caught me off guard. I didn't know at this point that he was going for this. By the way guys, he went into buildings and he went into uh chivalers straight away. So he sent a chevalier immediately and because I was so sure that he was going to go for the hospital earers, uh I did not place my outpost deer as soon as I could and now he has two uh chevalier confr uh because I don't even have an outpost yet. I had to go first into the barracks uh to get rid of these knights uh while my toots came out. And now that I have toots, I can finally fight. Uh, but still I don't think he at this point I saw that he started going for archers. So I knew this was a really heavy commitment from my opponent. He already has all three military production building. So he's going for a really really aggressive strategy in the fal age. So at this point I started making my my uh my outpost. He is already doing a ton of damage even though he's not attacking my villagers yet. Uh because my outpost is these are five villagers that are not gathering resources. So even though I already have spearman, he's doing his best with his micro uh to prevent me from starting gathering resources. At the same time, I was going for a raid with my uh calry unit. He already had units here defending his uh his deer. So he was really on point with the defense in this game. But I finally found uh some kind of damage. And this is extremely important, guys. When you are defending yourself here, don't just stay on your base. Go attack him. Go raid. Because if all the attention is on your front resources, [music] uh, by the way, I got uh, look at this front stone, front gold, frontier, side woodland. I only have this back woodland uh for later. But every single uh, resource got spawned uh, on the front for me on this game. So, I'm actually going for also a 111 composition. So, archery barracks uh and the targets from the golden tent to compete against his 111 composition. So, he he tries to go for a for a raid here, but I already have a lot of units and I'm producing archers, too, as well. As you can see, his unit production is really really nice. He has way more units than me uh at this point because I was delayed a lot by his his really fast timing with the chalers. Uh he's got one spearman chasing my guys. And at this point, I just keep my cavalry units going around raiding. They never stop raiding because I don't want the attention of this person to go uh on my always on my on my side of the map. He gets two kills here, which is really good for him. He already has, I think, three kills. I got two. And at this point, I shouldn't have gold villagers here unprotected at these. At least guard them guard them with some uh spearman or something or or place another fortified outpost or maybe wall a little bit. But I was uh focused on making units at this point. So So yeah, that's that's the reason why. So now that uh I have enough spearmen and archers to defend myself with, I go for raids with my my cavalry unit. When you are being pressured like this by a really aggressive opponent, always raid. You need to go for raids because you don't want all the attention to be here. And also the other thing that you can do is that look at how all his units are coming um are being rallied like this uh towards my base. So what I can do is place my cavalry units between my base and his base. So his army if I if I started attacking here, I can start catching these little units that are coming off the base. I'm starting to do that right now. Uh so I these are minus one two units. Actually, I didn't get anyone, but uh now it forces his units to come chase my raiding cavalry. So, this is extremely important. Don't just stand on your base doing nothing. I take that chance that he is now chasing my cavalry units to go ahead and attack with my main army. So, you have to do this. This is really important. By the way, at at some point, I noticed that he was pilgriming with two uh pilgrims. So, his economy is actually extremely good. These guys are giving him a ton of gold. A ton of gold. So, even though he is on a timer because I will soon start uh going into I I actually don't have any any farms yet because the I was uh I was having to spend all my resources on on units because he was so so aggressive. I still don't have any farms. So, I have to go into berries at this point in time. So, now at some point I will start feeling a little bit more confident with my army. So, I will soon have enough resources to finally start transitioning into into farms. Uh, as you can see right now, now there's a big battle going on in the middle. So, let's watch that. He actually destroys my army. Uh, even though I was I I had a little bit more uh units. Uh, his army was I think his micro was better on that uh fight. So, he ended up winning it even though he has a ton of uh really low health units. Uh, he ended up on top. Right now, most of my army is comprised of archers and uh and to goods. So, all pretty much all my spearmen were destroyed on that fight. So, take that opportunity to uh actually start gathering resources to go for an Asia. But, as you can see here in the top, he is going for an Asia because he has a lot of economy thanks to the pilgrims and thanks to the fact that he has uh map control. He has a bigger army than me, so he can go into into these outer resources. He already finished gathering his first deer. He's going into his second. He's going into these berries, too. [music] And he he his gold is really back in his base, so there's no way I can raid that at this point. So now he decides to go into castle age. I decide to do the same, but I am a little bit far back. And I only have two stockyards at this point. But this at least starting to give me a little bit of of income. So now I have to invest a little bit more into army so I can defend myself. He tries to raid here. Uh but I am on top of it. I'm making a little bit of uh of uh some walls here and then place my AR some arch some uh spearman here in case that he decides to go under my DC range uh so I can protect. And in the meantime while I'm aging up, we do exactly the same thing that we did on the previous game. We take our cavalry units and we start trading. So at this point that this is where I saw that he had villagers all over the place. Uh so he has already two towers here to to defend himself and he finally went into the castle a lot faster. I mean, he's upgrading everything. His chivalers, his archers, and he's going for a push because he knows that he has to kill me quickly. So, this is a a really nice push that he's going for. Uh, well, I actually lost one to good here because I wasn't I wasn't looking. I was focused on the raid here in the back. So, now that he has all of his upgrades, he goes for a push. Now, this part is extremely important. I am about to age up. Uh, I am also getting my my ship gather rate upgrade. And here is the part where you are most exposed because he knows that my aup is close. So he wants to go in before I get my upgrades and destroy my army. So what I see a lot of people committing the mistake of is just fighting here under a tower. You don't need to fight under a tower, guys. Just go back as much as you can. Make him fight under your TC where you have the advantage and where your military production buildings are going to keep getting uh units down here. And this also while he's destroying this outpost, this outpost is really tanky. So, he's going to take a while here. While he's destroying that, it gives me time to go into into the aup here. By the way, let's pause him for a for a second. At this point, he is trying to all in me. When you go into the Musky Jasak Hop, you can also call the roost tributes you have stone. I didn't go for that because it didn't cross my mind at the moment, but if you click this as soon as you age up, it gives you four really strong mentorms that you can use to defend. So uh if I cancelled uh these to goods I think I would probably have uh almost enough stone to uh to call the roost tribute. So if you find yourself in this situation remember that that is something that you can do. So again I try to move my units as far back as I can. He already upgrade upgraded his units. I have a few kics and toots here only three actually. And I start attacking uh going back as as best as I can. I go into crossbows because he has a lot of really tanky units here. And with my DC, I I am targeting the archers as you can see here. So, he tried to go for a really nice dive here. He's not killing as many villagers, though. By the way, uh this outpost died, so I sent my villagers just uh uh running around uh and he's he has a lot of spearmen here chasing me. and he went for the Asia uh that gave him heavy spearman which is in my opinion the best unit that you can go for as the knight's templar. So I tried to make another outpost but he is on top of me right now. He doesn't want to give me any chance to uh to come back into this game. So I lose another can. I at this point I only have archers which are not good against this heavy spearman because they have four actually six ranged armor. So I need uh crossbows right now. That is what I'm doing. And I if if uh at this point I am not doing it but I would need uh a lot of mana charms too uh to defend his bush. But right now he is sending every single military production unit towards my base. So again this uh I should be kiting back by the way guys. Uh this is uh not good to fight here because there I don't have any advantage there. So at this point I have a few spearman few age spearman because I I don't I haven't had time to actually upgrade them. And finally, I get crossbows. So, at this point, now that I have crossbows, I can finally fight with the with the heavy spearman. And this push is now completed. He cannot push into my base because I have uh crossbow. And these guys uh were still here. I lost a lot of of villagers. That is uh he he he did get a lot of villagers with with that with that push. I can still go back and and start uh getting some more stocks. I used a lot of wood that I had on the bank to make stock charts. And right now I already have a few a crossbow mask that will be enough to deal with this push that he has. He has a ton a ton of heavy spearman. Holy [ __ ] By the way, this never stops guys. Never stop raiding. This is extremely important when you are being all in and all the attention is on your side of the base. You need to at least keep him honest. Try to dive. It doesn't it dive under his DC doesn't matter. Look at the ranged armor that my targets have. Plus seven ranged armor. That means that his DC is only dealing three damage a shot which is almost nothing. And finally, I start getting manatarm so I can uh have front line uh for for these uh heavy spearman that he's getting. Uh I I am very slow on the garrison here and he also managed to get a templar brother under my base here. So he gets even more uh villager kills, but I am also getting some villager killed here with my raids and my toots. I also have some tootss here, some kix watching for his his food. Uh this is really important uh to do by the way guys. If you leave units on his food, he will eventually come here because his food is not infinite. He will either have to go into food uh into into farms or go into outer resources. So this is really nice for me. He's sending a lot of villagers that

way and he's going to find that my kix are there waiting. So at the same time in the front, I finally stopped the freaking push. He had somewhere around 20 heavy spearman and now I have enough of a mass to finally fight his army.

Uh, so this wouldn't be possible if my if I wasn't raiding. Look at all the raids that I'm doing. And finally, he find I find his his 17 villagers going for food. Uh, and I I start attacking them with the with the kic. So a lot of idle time is going on for him.

Uh, but he managed to get this fortress up, which is really nice for him. And I I didn't realize until until I was under it. Uh, so I decide to go back. And this is a really hard point of of the match against Knight's Temper because if he gets a fortress here, it means he's getting a ton of gold from these pilgrims that he's getting. So never stop raiding. Look, one raid here on the left side of the map, then another raid here on the right side of the map, and my main army is here defending. So, always, always, always never stop raiding with the civilization. It is extremely important.

He gets three relics. I don't think I even got time to get one. Actually, he got four relics. And I only have this one left. And by the way, uh because he was attacking me on the front, I took that chance to send one villager around and get uh this UO here that I don't think he saw. And right now, I am only I think I'm only two. I forgot my third one actually. Uh, which is not good for me. So, I'm on two uh for the rest of this game. I don't think I ever remember to build the the third one because I was so focused on raiding. Look at all the raiding units that I have all around his base. And that is giving me space to set up my economy to rebalance what I had before. I forgot to rebuild the fortress here, by the way. And finally going to these other outer resources. He's still raiding, but I have my main army here. And he is very occupied with my raids from the cash.

So, this is going to take a while. I am. This is what I have to do because I received so much damage uh on that push. I am just gaining time with the raids uh while I build up enough of an army lead to start going at this fortress. And now take a look at the army. Almost double uh the army. So I know from the race that he is not as well uh as well off as I am economically. I have already gained enough of a of a space to uh set up my economy. And now I can go in and start attacking his stuff.

He made another fortress here. By the way, when you have the chance, make sure you capture sacred sites because if you capture the sacred sites, he cannot pilgrim into into the side. So I start sending units uh from uh from both sides while my main army is here. By the way, my main army is composed of spearman, karash, and bunch of crossbows because the crossbows are going to deal with the heavy spearman. And the and the spearman are just a front line. Uh, because he but but this is actually a really bad frontal because he had a ton of archers. As you can see here on the top, he has 20 archers. So I actually started producing men at arms instead. Uh, and the cavalry units because he has a lot of heavy spearman. The cavalry units are not enough of of a front line. So what I do with them is just send them around raiding. Uh, I have a few units here attacking his farms.

Um, and I finally get this fortress off of of the off of the sacred side. I took the opportunity, by the way, at some point to capture both secrets. So, right now, he's not building him. Although, he had a lot of gold from when he had the fortress here. Uh, it took me a while. I think I should have pushed a little bit earlier into the into the fortresses because now, look at all the gold he has on the bank. Meanwhile, my economy is not as as well off, but right now, because I am attacking him, I finally caught up uh caught up in in resources as you can see. Although he's still way better in resources like uh than I am.

So he finished constructing this fortress. I sent my really low faction choic attacking it and I I placed a a fortified outpost here just so I could uh fall back into this whenever I have the chance. So right now he won a big really big fight. Uh, but I keep raiding. I never stop baiting with any units that I can even if it's just a small harassment and in because that means that he's not going to pay as much attention uh at his army here in the front as you can see. So he lost a ton of units here just rallying them towards my base because he's distracted here. He's distracted here.

I am also doing a ton of trebushets to get rid of of those fortresses. I know he wants to get rid of this trevete. So I move my main army here to defend. And uh yeah, I pretty much knew that he was he would try to get rid of it. So uh this was a really nice catch uh by by my main army. Now I want to move into these outer resources here because I don't have any gold at this point. I have zero guys on gold. So I need a few uh fortresses here and a few outposts here to start gathering from the side golds. And uh he's got control of this side of the map. So I need to get control of this side of the map.

And now I keep the sacred side captured as as for as long as I can. If I uh if I see that he starts to decapture it, I then I will send some units over there and my main army can uh keep going at this fortress. He still hasn't captured this gold at the sacred side. So he hasn't he hasn't gotten any pilgrim gold for a really long while and he still has gold on the bank to work with. So it is really important that you capture the sacred site guys because if he if you let the night simplar player get enough space then um you are going to be in a lot of trouble.

So at this point I keep going at this fortress. Uh, I have let me see the resources actually. Let's let's check that. Look at this food income. It is actually massive. So, I finally after all of that fighting, I finally reestablished my stock economy and now my my resources are finally starting to look a little bit better than the Night Templars player here. So, at this point, by the way, I I never I never actually went into the third dubu. I think I I literally forgot for the rest of the game. Uh, so, yeah, I prevent him from capturing this. I am finally going at this uh at this goal here. He starts to raid, but I have to 45 out here. Actually, do do I remember to I I actually did not see here because he was attacking me on the front.

This was a really important part of the of the of the match actually. So, he tried to attack me with a lot of uh a ton of his of his manggonos, but my front line was much better than him. So, I I cleared up his front line and with his front line is dead, I can finally go for his uh mango. So, he lost a ton of siege over there uh at this point. and his raid are being handled by a few spearman. And now my army is finally again stronger than him. So I the the first thing that you have to do is again go for the secret sides. Don't stop going for the sacred sides because this is his win condition if he has sacred sides. Uh, but if I stay here then I can get catch these pilgrims that are coming uh towards the sacred side and giving him so much gold.

So I started going into uh cashix again because I wanted to u a way to get rid of his of his manggonals. So because my uh economy is finally starting to ramp up, I am now able to Oh, by the way, his gold uh uh his gold uh reserves finally ran out uh after so long. And this is why my army is starting to have more success than him. And this is why I am finally able to get so many resources here. I am almost well actually no I'm not maxed out but yeah I am 30 population ahead of him so I am able to finally recapture the sacred site and that is what I do.

So right now let's actually uh go ahead and uh speed it up. This is a long it's going to be a long while until until uh these uh fights finally uh go over. But as you can see here on my top resources I am finally uh getting to the point where I can start going into Imperial Age. Well, actually, I reinvested that that that point, but uh yeah, you know what I mean. So, uh he tried to go for a fortress here. Uh, but I was on top of it. Never uh uh always look at the map, by the way. So, I put uh 245 so I could mine from this gold.

Um, and now I'm finally going into Imperial. So, he is right now on a timer and he doesn't have gold. As you can see, there is no gold mines left on his map. Only this one. Uh, and if he doesn't make spearman, heavy spearman, he's not going to be able to to go into to actually defend my army here now because because I went into his own armies. Uh, my army decreased a little bit in size. Uh, so he was able to place a fortress here. But now his army is really really bad because he has to go into archers and my look at the the ranged armor of my manatarms and the ranged armor of my Keshix. I have eight ranged armor. So these archers are actually crap. All his gold he is investing are going into these heavy spearman. So I am only producing crossbows. As you can see, I finally uh aged up and I can go now into the uh elite upgrades of my army. And at this point, it looks like there is no more way for this gate player to get back into the game because I am one age up. He's trying to get into the bureau as you can see, but he doesn't have any goal to do that. So finally he decides to give up as after 45 minutes of grinding over those sacred sites. So yeah, that is pretty much how you play the Golden Horde.
