How many times have you told yourself you were going to change your life? You spend hours upon hours, days, weeks, months just scrolling online, and trust me, I've been in the same place you are right now. I've been in your shoes, I know how it feels. And one of the most vital things to get me out of the situation you're currently in was my morning routine. So let's get started with my morning routine on how I attack my day-to-day. Let's go.

Now, the first and most important part is finding a way to wake up earlier. Whether that's 30 minutes before or 1 hour before your usual time, just find a way to wake up earlier. But hold on, pause. Let me rewind and show you guys how different my day would have been if I would have done this one thing. Picking up your phone first thing in the morning is one of the worst things you guys can be doing for your health, and I'd be lying if I told you guys I didn't do the same before. The problem with doing this is that you're skipping the most important stages of your day where you feel most creative and free-flowing, and you're going straight into an alert and awakened sense of mind, which can trigger your stress response and put you on edge for the rest of the day. This could be the main reason why you guys are feeling tired, demotivated, and you just feel like you don't have enough energy to last you throughout your day. So put your phone down and let's get to work.

Work. The third step in my morning routine is all about getting started on the right foot. And the way you're going to do this is by setting small goals that you can accomplish throughout your morning. It can be something as small as drinking a glass of water, doing some meditating, maybe some praying, or even reading. Just small things that you can check off and complete so that you already feel like you're starting your day off on the right foot, you have some good energy going, and you just keep the vibes high.

My next step after I get going is to do something challenging. Now, I don't know what that might mean for you, but for me, that's doing some cold therapy, something like taking a cold shower or taking an ice bath. I find that it's super hard to do, but once I'm done, I feel super fulfilled, and it's a great way for me to learn how to manage my stress. And nothing beats that feeling of satisfaction you get after completing a hard task. Trust me, you truly feel unstoppable. So find that thing that challenges you and go crush it.

Now, this next step is going to sound weird, but I'm telling you, make sure to skip your breakfast. I've been intermittent fasting for the last 2 months, and I've never felt better. I've been doing 14 to 18-hour fasts depending on how I feel, but I just feel like getting my morning started on an empty stomach and not eating just helps me be a lot more focused and in tune with my body, with my thinking, with my creativity, and applying that to things like business or sports. I just feel a lot more locked in, and it's helped me a lot throughout these months. So yeah, we're now in the kitchen. I'm about to make my morning beverage, my morning drink. So I've been trying to avoid caffeine and my phone for the first 2 hours of the day, just to get the day started nice and easy. So yeah, this is just a drink I like to have to keep me energized and hydrated throughout my morning, throughout my day. You only need a couple things for this drink, and even if you're not fasting, this is a great option. It'll keep you nice and energized and hydrated for your morning, for your training. So all you're going to need are some lemons or limes, a little bit of some nice warm water, and some salt.

So yeah, it's pretty chilly outside. I don't know if you guys can see, but oh my gosh, my car is about to be frozen, frozen. Also, make sure you guys stick around till the end of the video. I want to give thanks to you guys for helping me hit 10,000 subscribers, so I'm going to be giving away a couple of things. So yeah, just made it to campus. About to walk into a locker room. But can we just appreciate this natural beauty? Can we just appreciate this campus really quick? So we're now in the locker room. My boy Riley, you guys remember from the offseason vlogs from last year, put in some work. About to put in some work again, you already know. Always. And it's kind of cold right now. So you guys remember Wade Mut? Three points. About to steal his beanie real quick. Bet. Won't mind. And let me show you guys Riley's fit really quick. Let's go, boys. We got the Mbappé on as always, got the UA pants, UA sweater. And then that brings us to our next tip: getting an early workout or training. Whether that's going on a walk, going on a run, or doing a workout, or even just doing your sports-specific training. Doing an early session and getting your body active is going to lead to you having a much better day and just feeling better overall.

I have the thickest gloves ever on right now, and my fingers are still freezing. Make that make sense. So me and Riley had class in 60 minutes, so we had to keep this session super short and sharp. And this is just something that I wanted to show you guys that how long you're really out doing this activity for doesn't really matter. You could be going on a walk for 15 minutes, or you could be going on a run for an hour. The thing that matters is doing something, something active to get your body going and get your mind right for the rest of the day.

After training, I went out to go do one of the most important things in my morning routine, and that's intentionally going outside into nature, spending some time outside, and getting some sunlight and feeling the warmth of the sun on my eyes, on my skin. A lot of us just really spend too much time indoors, on our phones, on our screens, and just don't go outside and enjoy nature for what it really is. It's amazing. As soon as you go out there, you just instantly feel happier, you just feel better. And even if you live in a place that doesn't get a lot of sunlight, going outside and spending some time in nature is a great way to boost your mental health, just be happy, and just reconnect with your roots.

So yeah, before we get on with the rest of the video, I just want to say thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. We hit 10,000 subs in less than a year. I never thought we were going to hit it that fast. I knew we would do it, but I'm just super excited for how fast this community is growing and what it's going to turn out to be. Um, so yeah, I just want to show my appreciation to you guys, and I'm going to be doing a quick giveaway. So the first thing we're going to be giving away is a pair of the Under Armour Magneto cleats. I got these last year, and I didn't end up wearing them. I bought them myself, and I think they were around $200 retail. So yeah, they're brand new. Next one is the book, "How to Be a Winner" from Bryce Wilson. Um, I really like this book. It helped me a lot with my mental performance, my mental strength. And yeah, and I think you guys could really get some good value from it. Then the last giveaway item is a brand new ice bath from Shumo. It's a portable ice bath. They're great. I think this color is in black. So yeah, all you guys got to do is comment "done" after you subscribe to the YouTube and follow me on Instagram. Good luck, and I'll be announcing the winner in 2 weeks. Let's get back to the video.

And now we're getting to my favorite part of my morning routine, and the last part, which is breakfast. I know I said to not have breakfast, but I just mean push it back a little bit so that you give your body enough time to fast. Um, and I like to have a really balanced breakfast. I pushed away breakfast sausages, breakfast proteins, because they're really processed and have a lot of bad ingredients, and I opted for more lean and healthy proteins like ground beef, ground turkey. Today, we're having ground turkey. Super tasty and nutritious meal. And yeah, as you can see, it looks busting. I don't know how many calories total, but the only thing I know is like 70 or 68 grams of protein here. So perfect after a training session, build some muscle.

There's one thing I could get you guys to hold on to from this video is that just making those small little changes in your day-to-day routine, whether that's your morning routine, just your daily routine, or your nighttime routine, you're going to see big changes. So whether that's just reading a little bit more, whether that's doing some more exercise, going out in nature, drinking more water, just doing those small little things and slowly start to add more things into your routines. Don't just try and go all in from the start and do a thousand things that you're not used to. You're obviously not going to succeed and be able to do it for a consistent amount of time. At the end of the day, self-improvement is about consistency, and that's what I want you guys to learn from this. And at the end of the day, we're all going to have our own routines, we're all going to have our own things that we like to do that work for us. And yeah, hope you guys enjoyed the video and see you guys in the next one.
