In our lead story, we have a tragedy for one of the Democrat Socialist Squad members. We also have news about the elections coming from the courts. That's pretty big. Some Mandomy news and some other things coming at you. So stay with us.

Election security is paramount for President Donald Trump this year and every year. It's been paramount to him for a long time. And no matter what you think of previous elections security-wise or you know if you believe that you know that's not here nor there. That's not something we're going to delve into. But we do believe that election security is something that should be important to everybody. Democrat, Republican, independent, doesn't matter. If you are a voter in this country, it should be important to you that your vote is not washed away by the vote of somebody who's not eligible to vote. And that's essentially what happens when somebody who is not eligible to vote engages in that activity.
One of the ways [snorts] President Trump wants to do this, and I think it makes a lot of sense, is to have the states deliver to the United States Postal Service a list of all eligible American citizens in that state who are eligible to vote. And if you're not on that list, then USPS will not deliver a ballot to you. Makes a lot of sense, right? It's pretty simple, pretty straightforward. Citizen, you get a ballot. Not citizen, you don't get a ballot. Very simple stuff.
Democrat [snorts] states, of course, are fighting this. And there was an injunction put on it, and it stopped President Trump from doing that. Well, this week that just passed, an appeals court, they knocked that down. They lifted the ban temporarily because they said if we don't act now then it can't be implemented for this election and it's not fair to artificially stop the president's order for this election especially if later on it's found out that it is legal what he's doing. [snorts] I think it's a great idea. This is a massive, massive victory for Trump because he now can go to a state like California and say, "If you won't provide us with a list of your eligible voters, none of them get mail-in ballots." [snorts] That is massive. I want you guys to watch this report on it. And these guys over here on the MS Now squad, they're complaining about it. They think it's illegal, but the court seems to disagree right now. Let me know what you think.
Other ways that Trump is trying to interfere with the elections. One of the ones that I'm particularly focused on as a member of the oversight committee is he's trying to use the US Postal Service, which obviously controls the delivery of mail-in ballots to basically go after states voter registration uh data. And there he's basically saying through the USPS, again illegally, but something that they're doing right now, which is if you don't turn over your voter registration data, which is sensitive and obviously uh there are a lot of privacy concerns there, the USPS will not deliver any election ballots in that state. And so we have to be ready for this particular uh issue as well as other scenarios too.
Uh let's talk a little bit about the latest developments um with Todd Blanch. And >> you know this one is near and dear to me as an Italian American um somebody who grew up in the shadow of New York City. I've lived literally 10 minutes away from there and Little Italy was big big thing for us. And he as you know Mandomy he left Little Italy off the map of enclaves as it were for different Native Americans. And he says, you know, immigrants built New York City. And he wants to make all these little enclaves showing where these immigrant communities are. Well, I got to tell you, Mr. Mandom, back when New York City was being built, when the structures and everything was being built, immigrants look a lot like me. They looked a lot like Italian-Americans, Irishameans, Jewish Americans, German Americans, Polish Americans, uh, English, of course, Americans, [snorts] you know, all these people from Europe, you know, I'm not going to go by country by country, but they were very European back when New York City was being built, Mr. Mandomni. And the areas you want to highlight now are anything but European. And that's okay, too, because those communities contribute their own things to the, you know, Chinatown's, of course, a wonderful place if you ever been there. And there's different places in New York City that that are, you know, little Dominican Republic over here. And that's all good. They should get representation, but you don't do that at the expense of wiping out the rest of us, erasing the history of the rest of us because we're not the kind of immigrants you want to highlight. If you say immigrants built New York City and you're right, then you should highlight all of them. But one Italian American, he's pretty pretty ticked off. And he's got a little warning for Mr. Mandomy that I think you should listen to. Let's take a look.
>> Zoron Mandani is taking heat from some immigrant groups. His office released a map highlighting the neighborhoods that make up New York City's melting pot, but some longestablished communities were left off. Senior Fox News correspondent Eric Shawn takes a look at that.
>> New York City Mayor Zora Mdani is being accused of erasing some of his constituents off the map. Literally, Bamdan's office released a map called New York City immigrant enclaves citing 30 spots but did not include Italian, Jewish, Irish, or Greek neighborhoods.
>> He goes and he created that abomination of an ethnic map and he exclude the Greeks. the Greeks that they work for him and they've been friends with him for so many years and he just exclude us. We don't exist.
>> There is a little Palestine for an Arab-American street, too little Africa's central and south American neighborhoods and even a little boot Tibet. But Manhattan's historic Little Italy and other heavily Italian neighborhoods are absent. Lawyer Gerard Moroni, vice president of the Italian-American Civil Rights League, says the oversight is offensive and wrong.
>> When we saw that, we were really shocked. We were really taken back. We were offended. We felt disrespected. Italian-Americans built the city. Um, he left out Little Italy. How do you leave out Little Italy? And not only that, he left out so many other important ethnic groups.
>> Mdani claims leaving anyone out was unintentional. Clearly not an exhaustive list of the more than 200 ethnic communities that call our city home and we're going to be making additional changes in the future to reflect that and that includes adding Little Italy to the map.
>> But Moroni says all New York City ethnic groups should be recognized. Together we can make New York great again. But he can't forget about the the the ethnic groups, the Italian-Americans, the Greeks, the Jews, all these different ethnic groups that built this city that were so important to the city. He can't forget about us. And if he does forget about us, we're going to make ourselves known.
Everybody knows that New York Senator and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer wants to be the majority leader again. He desperately wants the Democrats back in control of the Senate. And who can blame him? That gives him a lot of power, a lot of responsibility. And with power and responsibility generally comes money. [snorts] So, I don't blame him for wanting to be the Senate majority leader. The problem is they hitched their wagon to a horse named Graham Platner in one of the most winnable elections they had, which was in the state of Maine. And now they're faced with a problem. As Joey Jones points out here on Fox News, every single person who's now running to take Graham Platner's place lost an election this year. Every one of them. Every single one of them lost an election this year. That is bad news if you're Schumer. if you're trying to regain the majority because these people have proven a penchant for the voters even of their own party not wanting them. That's not great news. That's that's a pretty bad standard to set. And when you have somebody like Susan Collins, who I'm not a really big fan of, but is a moderate Republican, that becomes an attractive option for Democrats who are not socialists, who are not extremists in the state of Maine. And that that keeps the leadership far far away from Mr. Schumer. So yeah, am I cheering for Susan Collins? Absolutely. Would I have preferred a better Republican? Yes. But I'm also realistic. Susan Collins is the only type of Republican, you can get elected in the state of Maine. It's like, you know, New Jersey, New York. If you want to get a Republican in those states, they're going to have to be like Susan Collins. They can't be lockep hardcore MAGA conservatives like me and you are. So I assume you are. Anyway, maybe you're not. Maybe you're just a moderate conservative. That's fine, too. Um, but for me, I'm more of a, you know, Reagan, Trump, conservative, hardcore to the bone. You're not going to get that in Maine. And it looks like the Democrats ain't going to get anything in Maine. Let's take a look.
>> Yeah. So, Troy Jackson, his his great line was about ICE. They give us nothing in this country but heartache and racism. It's not law enforcement. It's a rogue agency that goes around doing things that they're being told on high. That's his uh perception of ICE. bellows for her part when called out for falsely attacking Collins goes, "Well, a week ago I was on vacation and when I need to know the facts, I'll do my homework." I mean, that's why someone says who showed up to perhaps the only debate that she's going to have a chance to call the herd with. Uh she's also the Secretary of State that tried to ban Trump from being on the primary ballot in Maine, uh because of uh what she calls an insurrection and his uh uh his part in it. Of course, I believe it was the Supreme Court that said, "No, you're crazy. That's not that's not allowed." So those are your real like establishment front runners. You have Narav Shaw who's you know another one of the well pretty much all the top four have lost some primary this year or recently. Narav Shaw lost the governor primary the face of the COVID response for Joe Biden in Maine. So that's who that person is. Uh there are other things that people in Maine are up in arms about. They're up in arms about the fact that you can't go to Banger or Portland and not see a 100 people that are strung out on meth walking up and down the streets. Maine has a lot of problems. It's got a lot of beautiful countryside. It's got a lot of beautiful things about it. It also has a whole lot of problems. It has a huge drug problem. I don't know if people in Maine will vote to blame Democrats or Republicans for that, but the border has something to do with it for sure. Uh so, as much as you want them to hate ICE, the fact is there are people in Maine who I guess their reaction when being stopped by ICE is to try to drive away and over whoever they need to to get away. And I would like for all those people that are illegal to be rolled up and uh put in jail and maybe even deported if uh legally possible. If they haven't committed any other crimes, you know, that doesn't matter to me. Worse first doesn't mean everybody else stays forever. That's the hard truth of it. And the voters get to decide how much they care about that. They cared enough about it to vote President Trump in office. Let's see if they care enough about it to defund and abolish ICE, which is what just about every single one of these candidates want to do.
Janine Piro spent her career before she got to television as a federal prosecutor. Prosecuting crimes is what she does best. She's good at it. She excels at it. And uh you know, she knows how to stop crime. She knows how to to make cities safer. She's done it before. And in Washington DC, let's face it, she has a tall task ahead of her. Well, maybe you've seen in the news or you've seen on these platforms here that there's been a lot of these what they call teen takeovers in these these cities. And what a teen takeover is essentially is a group of teens comes out and causes havoc. They they rob, they steal, they vandalize, they assault, they do all these things and then they get arrested, some of them, and they go through the juvenile court system where they're given a slap on the wrist and and that's the end of it. Well, Janine Piro says that time has to stop. We have to now start looking at these teenagers as actual criminals and trying them as adults because that's the only way you stop this. It's the only way. There has to be actual consequences because if there's not actual consequences, people keep repeating the same behaviors. I was watching a video yesterday and it was an old video from the 50s, 50s or 60s and they were talking about this criminal who had a mental disorder. He was literally a psychopath. Um, that was what his medical diagnosis was. I don't know if they changed the di what that means now or what the term is now, but that was his diagnosis. And they kept putting this guy in mental facilities that could not address the problem. And he kept committing crimes. Well, yeah. If there's no consequences, you're going to keep committing crimes. We see it all the time. How many times you heard he was arrested 30 times before? Well, yeah. So, you trained him to believe that there are no consequences for his actions. So, he kept raising the stakes, raising the type of crimes he does, and they get higher and higher and higher. and sometimes they become the ultimate crime. So yeah, I think this is a great move by Janine Piro. Let's let's hear what she had to say.
>> Also on crime in DC, I mean I remember when I was walking around there as press secretary, things were feeling fine and then it changed under Biden and you have brought down the numbers. I was shocked. My team showed me this during your tenure. Homicides down 39%, sex abuse 7%, robbery 18%, overall crime down 20%. That is just during your tenure. How did you do this?
>> Well, look, when the president made a decision, Kaylee, as you well know, you worked for the president. Uh he is totally focused. He brought in federal uh uh law enforcement to assist the Metropolitan Police Department, and I came in and started really prosecuting crime. My predecessor refused to prosecute 67% of the arrests that were made by the MPD. I mean, think about it, Kaylee. That is lunacy. I refuse to prosecute maybe four or 5% because the cases are not solid or they need more work. But the truth is that when you have consequences for crime and those numbers don't really reflect the truth, we've got the lowest number of homicides in recorded history during a significant period of the surge. We've also got uh I I think carjackings reduced by 69%. which was one of the biggest crimes out there that people were so fearful of. And uh we also have other kinds of crimes that don't look like they've dropped as much, but because there was a problem with MPD that they were lowering the crime statistics, they were deflating the numbers. So then it looked like, you know, crime didn't really go down that much. Well, it went down a lot more than we think because they had lowered the numbers when they were much higher. So nothing is really what it seems, but we're making a difference. And the one thing I need to do, Kaylee, we need to do is we need to lower the age of responsibility. And young people are going through the family court, through the uh family court system, the juvenile justice system, and they're not being punished. They're given, you know, yoga or they go to ice cream socials, they're released, and you know, we're talking about shootings, assault with a dangerous weapon, all that stuff. And in the end, you know, before I get them, before they come of age, they've got four or five what would be felonies if I could have treated them earlier. They might have stopped before I got to them. And now they're facing serious time.
And in our lead story today, there is a death at the home of one of the squad Democrats. This one, Ayanna Presley. Ayanna Presley is a hardcore progressive squad member along with Alexandria Kaziocortez, Rashidita Talib, and Ilhan Omar. At the time of this recording, we don't know much, but we do know this. A deceased body was found at a home that she owns. Now, my understanding is that her husband had some involvement with this home or her ex-husband has some involvement with this home. Again, details are sketchy right now and of course, as we learn more, you'll learn more, but we do know it was not the representative. She released a statement and in her statement, she said she was offering condolences to the affected family. So, maybe they were renters. I don't know. But it's it's a weird situation and you know often I remember seeing situations like this with celebrities or politicians in the past and as more of the story comes out it gets more dicey. Hopefully this is not one of those cases. I do want to say that whoever the deceased is we here at Explain America absolutely offer our condolences to the family. We send our prayers for the soul of the departed and for the family and it is in the Lord's hands now. So we wish them all the best and you know God speed. Let's take a look at the report.

All right, turn now to your headlines. Boston police are now investigating after a dead body was found in a property owned [clears throat] by Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Presley's husband. Authorities say they were called to the house yesterday where they found the body. Presley's husband, Conan Harris, owns the two-story home as a rental property, and the couple did not live [music] there. The congresswoman releasing a statement extending her condolences to the impacted family as the investigation continues. General Mills is recalling more than 730.
