generation after generation, we keep waiting. the women chose to change. the men chose silence.

Millennial men were the first sons raised by women who were trying to do it differently. And it still wasn't enough.

Most of you were still raised in systems where being soft got you shamed, crying got you mocked, and girls were taught emotional intelligence while you were handed a PlayStation and told to get over it. So you grew up watching your mom cry and your dad stay. Or you watched her grind and stay and you learned nothing from it. You saw your sisters be told they were too emotional while you were told you had no emotions at all.

We were the mental health matters generation. We were the therapy is okay generation. We were the let's do it differently generation. But most of the women did the work and most of the men still stuck. We excused it because you had trauma. We coddled you because men aren't allowed to feel. We waited for you to catch up.

But now it's 2025 and some of you are still using the same excuses we gave you in 2011. We gave you grace. We gave you space. But where is your accountability? Have you caught on yet? Do you see the pattern? The system was made to keep us stuck. The women chose to change. The men, where you at? These men ain't
