We are the strength of the nation, proud, proud, and the identity of service, these youth. Move forward, say together. Come, move forward. Today is the day, passion in the heart, song on the lips. We are those who stand with everyone, stand bravely, never tire, light the lamps of hope in hearts, build a new world together. A call of service from the heart, a vow of service to the nation. Get up, move forward. Now every limit must end. Proud, proud, we are the strength of the nation, proud, proud, and the identity of service, these youth. Move forward, say together. Proud, proud. Let's ignite hope in every city. Let's bring courage to every heart. Let's fight darkness bravely. Let's build a bright future together. Who says you are alone? Centuries of prayers are with you. Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan is the name of service to humanity, sacrifice, compassion, and practical character. In the past 35 years, Al-Khidmat Foundation has inscribed such bright imprints of service to humanity in various parts of the world, including Pakistan, which are living examples of trust and integrity. Life-saving projects like disaster prevention, education, health, clean water, sponsorship of orphans, "Bano Qabil" (Become Capable), Islamic microfinance, and environmental protection are a manifestation of Al-Khidmat Foundation's resolve that no human being should be left alone due to hunger, illness, or helplessness. Natural disasters have always been a trial for humanity. Be it earthquakes or floods, torrential rains or other unforeseen circumstances. Al-Khidmat Disaster Management's trained relief teams reach affected areas immediately, both within and outside Pakistan, to save human lives. After the devastating floods of 2022, in 2025 as well, melting glaciers, severe monsoon rains, flash floods, and cloudbursts affected millions of families across the country. More than 3.5 million people were directly affected, while over 9,000 houses were completely or partially destroyed. In these circumstances, Al-Khidmat Foundation's relief teams played a vanguard role, actively participating in rescue and relief activities. Thousands of volunteers transferred flood-affected families to safe locations and provided immediate relief in the form of cooked food, clean water, and medical facilities. Tent cities were established for homeless families. Ration packs were distributed, and educational activities were restored by establishing tent schools for the continuity of children's education. Pakistan faces numerous challenges in the health sector, the most serious of which is the lack of access to quality treatment for ordinary citizens. In light of this alarming situation, Al-Khidmat Foundation, through its hospitals, medical centers, mobile clinics, and free health camps, provides quality, affordable, and accessible treatment to millions of people every year. Blood banks, diagnostic centers, and ambulance services are also an important part of Al-Khidmat's health system. Special centers have been established across the country for the protection of mother and child health, where safe, quality, and affordable medical facilities are provided to mothers and children. Clean water is a basic necessity of life, but the situation in Pakistan is dire. According to recent reports, 53% of Pakistanis are deprived of clean drinking water. Al-Khidmat Foundation has made the provision of clean drinking water possible in water-deprived areas through thousands of wells, community hand pumps, gravity flow water schemes, solar pumps, and water filtration plants. These projects not only provide clean water to millions of people daily but also serve as a means of preventing common diseases. Education is the fundamental right of every child, but unfortunately, more than 25 million children in Pakistan are still out of school. To dispel the darkness of ignorance with the light of knowledge, Al-Khidmat Foundation has established thousands of schools across the country, where thousands of poor children are being educated daily. Students are provided with free books, uniforms, and educational assistance, while hundreds of bright and deserving male and female students are awarded scholarships on merit every year. Al-Khidmat Child Protection Centers are guiding children who pick up trash from the streets and alleys towards a safe and dignified life by educating them. Pakistan is a country of youth, but unfortunately, 34% of the youth are unemployed and lack modern digital skills. Recognizing this need, Al-Khidmat Foundation launched the "Bano Qabil" program in 2023, under which modern IT courses such as digital marketing, graphic designing, web development, app development, freelancing, and e-commerce are being provided absolutely free. This program, which started in Karachi, has now spread throughout Pakistan. Under "Bano Qabil," 2 million youth will be made capable of dignified digital employment by providing free IT education over the next 2 years. The education, upbringing, and sponsorship of orphan children are a fundamental part of Al-Khidmat's mission. Along with sponsoring thousands of children at home, orphan children are also being provided with exemplary facilities for education, residence, food, and moral training in "Aagosh Homes" established in various cities of the country. "Aagosh Homes" equipped with modern facilities are operational for orphan girls in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi, while the foundation stone of "Aagosh Education Complex" for female students has also been laid in Islamabad. Empowering families living in poverty is the primary objective of Al-Khidmat's Islamic Microfinance Program. Under this program, interest-free loans are provided so that deserving individuals can start small businesses and earn a dignified livelihood. These interest-free loans not only break the chains of poverty but also promote economic stability and self-reliance. Al-Khidmat Foundation distributes rations, gifts, and relief supplies to millions of deserving families during Ramadan, Eid festivals, winter, and other occasions. Special relief activities are also organized for minority communities on the festivals of Christian and Hindu communities. To cope with the threats of climate change, Al-Khidmat Foundation has launched the "Green Pakistan" campaign. Every year, thousands of saplings are planted across the country through plantation drives, in which students, teachers, and volunteers participate with great enthusiasm. Al-Khidmat Khawateen (Women) is involved in the sorrows and sufferings of women through various welfare projects across the country, so that their deprivations can be addressed with honor and dignity. The human tragedy of Gaza has entered its third year. Since October 2023, Al-Khidmat Foundation has been continuously carrying out relief activities for the oppressed Palestinian people. Along with providing food, clean water, medical aid, and basic necessities, financial assistance is also being provided to Palestinian students studying in Egypt and Pakistan. Al-Khidmat Foundation is bearing the educational expenses of over 400 Palestinian students in Pakistan. Al-Khidmat's service is not limited to Pakistan; the organization is at the forefront of serving humanity in Turkey for earthquake victims, for Syrian orphan children, and in other affected countries around the world. All welfare projects of Al-Khidmat Foundation are possible only with your cooperation. Let us extend a helping hand to the deserving and needy people and seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty. We are proud, we are the strength of the nation, proud, proud, and the identity of service, these youth. Move forward, say together. Come, move forward. Today is the day, passion in the heart, song on the lips. We are those who stand with everyone, stand bravely, never tire, light the lamps of hope in hearts, build a new world together. First of all, we welcome all the attendees to the third session of the third week of the Al-Khidmat Summer Internship Program. The session today officially begins with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. For this, I invite Shaiq Ateeq to come and recite a few verses from the Holy Quran for you. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. He who has shown the path, illuminated the heart with love, he is the first, he is the beloved, he is the Quran, he is the Furqan, he is Yaseen, he is Kaf. Moving on to the official commencement of the session. Our trainer is a renowned hypnotherapist of Pakistan, author of 32 books, Dr. Arif Siddiqui. I welcome him with your thunderous applause. Sir, we are also grateful to you for this because you are not from Lahore, sir has come from Okara especially for our program, and sir, if he was given a time of 11:00 AM, then as soon as the clock struck 11:00 AM, sir's call was received saying that I am present at the reception, please come and pick me up. Thank you so much, sir. You gave your time, and without delay, there should be applause. Without delay, let's move towards the commencement of the session. I request you to please come to the stage and address our audience on the topic of Mental Health and Productivity. Sir, please come. Welcome him with full applause. Assalamu Alaikum. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. My Lord, expand my chest for me, and make my task easy for me. And they told me not to leave this dais, so let it remain here. You can do it now, okay. Alright. Assalamu Alaikum. How are you all? Very well. Then the session is over. I came to do well. You are already well. That's great. That's great. Before starting the program, I want to share a few things with you. Firstly, you must have attended countless programs and gained a lot of learning. But today's program is extremely important in this regard because I am saying this with a challenge that these 100 minutes spent with me can be the most valuable minutes of your life. They can change the way you think, live your life, and interact with people. Only 100 minutes. But for this, it is necessary that you stay with me for 100 minutes. Some of you are physically present here, but not mentally present. Have to go home, brother is coming to pick up, don't know when they will leave, when they will come, after this, this work has to be done. Sometimes we are not mentally present. If you give me 100 minutes with complete concentration, and if I do not live up to my claim, then you must tell me on your way out, "Sir, don't make big claims." Okay? So, are you ready for the challenge? If the sound people are trying their best to make me fail in my claim, but still, I will thwart their efforts. You don't worry. That's one thing. The second thing, when.

The program began, and he chose Surah Tin for recitation. And it aligns very well with my program. See, Allah Almighty takes an oath not once, not twice, but four times. By the fig, by the olive, by the sacred mountain, by the sacred city—He takes four oaths and says: I created man in the best of balance. That is, the Creator, the Best of Creators, gives you His finest product. Can this also be resolved? Yes, but it is only happening with me. When Hafsa was present, this never happened. What is the reason for this? Is there any possible reason? All those who have sound devices—as long as they are looking at something, if anyone among you has their phone on, kindly silence it. Your single ring can interfere with many people's learning. Should I take it off? No, we will put it here, as we had placed it earlier. Okay. Okay. Okay, sir.

Today's program is about mental well-being. I don't even need to read. Keep it behind me like this. I'm even having trouble reading. Productivity is not an issue. How many of you have sound mental health? Now what? Before this sound, it was fine. Is it fine now or not? Now it is not fine. So that means we try to fix that too. Allah, the Lord of Honor, gave us the greatest instrument for living, for moving forward, for helping others, for improving our world or our Hereafter—and that very mind of ours is not working. Why don't all the things I have work? If I press it three or four times, it moves forward by one. I am making a small change. If the cameraman is having trouble, he can also change it. It is adjusted now. Okay, sir.

Iqbal says that Allah, the Lord of Honor, has placed within you the ability to conquer not one, not two, but seven entire realms—and that without arrows, without swords, without gunpowder, without B-52 bombers, without atomic bombs. What is that thing by which you can conquer the world even without weapons? When Allah Almighty says that the treasures of the earth and heavens have been subjected to man, or the ability to subject them has been placed—where do you think that ability is placed? In the stomach? In the knee? Or where? It is placed here. So this means that if we understand that our mind is a powerful machine—a machine through which we can change our own lives and the lives of others, and bring about the change that should come—then life becomes much easier. So everyone has this, right? Okay. But this is the most complicated machine in the world. Its weight is about two or two and a quarter pounds. It contains more than two billion neurons—I am not saying million, I am saying billion. And in each neuron, there are more than one million electrical connections. So intricate a machine that if you compare it to a supercomputer, it is said that if the circuits of a supercomputer were laid out in a line instead of a circle, that computer would be as large as four big cities the size of New York City combined. Even if that computer worked continuously—seven days a week, thirty days a month, three sixty-five days a year—the human brain can technically outperform it in one minute. That is why the Creator, the Best of Creators, also calls it a living computer. A bio-computer. You also have computers with you. These small mobile phones you have are also a form of computer. Do you have them? Good. Now tell me, you have these computers. So what is the difference between this computer and that computer? Similarity—sorry, not difference—what is the similarity? What is the resemblance? One is this computer—the bio-computer that Allah Almighty gave. The other is man-made. Some have it in their hands, some at home, some in their laps. What is the resemblance between these two? This one is dependent on that. Very good, very good. And yes— But I am asking about resemblance. Resemblance—memory—both have memory. Very good. Excellent. And because I didn't understand, I would say SubhanAllah, very good—she spoke from so far away that now I couldn't make it out. I am saying: the brain also thinks—we think—and the artificial intelligence in the computer also thinks, and then gives us answers. Okay, a huge misunderstanding arose from the very beginning; let us clear it. You think that the brain thinks. Okay, you people also think that the mind thinks. You also think that your mind has the distinction between right and wrong. You also have the misunderstanding that your mind can recognize good and bad. Have you nurtured such misunderstandings? No. Is your mind of no use? Yes. What is in your mind about your own mind? Is it what that daughter said or something else? Won't you speak? How will the conversation proceed? Yes, come, first I will clear this misunderstanding of yours. Then we will move forward, so that you understand how enjoyable a task you are about to do.

We think that our mind works. It does not work. We think that our mind has the ability to think and understand. It has no such ability. We think that our mind can distinguish between lies and truth. That too is not the case. How? Let's do an exercise. We'll do one exercise. We start with that. Then you will find out whether your mind works correctly or not. Ready for it? Take a seat. It's a one-minute exercise. This is a test of your imagination. It is a test of your visualization—whether your mind works correctly or not. First I'll test, then I'll proceed. Ready? Close your eyes. Take two or three deep breaths. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose. Inhale and exhale. Good, when you close your eyes and breathe, your tongue should also remain closed. Keep your eyes closed. Now, when I conduct the activity, whatever I say or ask, you are not to give me the answer. Do not speak. Just answer it in your mind. Okay? Imagine that you are sitting at a dining table. What color is the dining table? Just think. There is a plate in front of you. What color is the plate? If there is a design or print on it, what is it? Lift this plate a little and feel its weight—how heavy is it? There is also a knife next to it. What shape is it? Good. Now look—on the right side, there is a fruit basket with various kinds of fruits. Observe closely. You can also see a lemon in it. Take out the lemon. Look at its color. Press it. Feel its softness. Bring it near your nose. Smell its fragrance. Now put the lemon back on the plate. Cut the lemon into two slices. Pick up one slice. Remove its seeds. Now you can see the juicy fibers. Now smell its fragrance. And now, drop one or two drops of this lemon into your mouth. Open your mouth. Drop one or two drops of lemon into your mouth. Thank you very much. Open your eyes.

How many of you had water in your mouth? Okay. Now, if you think that your mind has the ability to think and understand—if you think that the mind can distinguish between truth and falsehood—then you all knew that there is no lemon. You all knew, right? What happened? Your mind is a slave. It is a slave. Your mind was given a suggestion that a lemon is coming. It immediately produced the saliva that was necessary to digest it. References of fragrance and color were present in the mind. It immediately provided you those references: if there is a lemon, the fragrance will be like this; if there is a lemon, the color will be like this. Did that happen to you? So this means that the mind does not have the ability to distinguish between truth and falsehood, between reality and illusion. Do you agree? Before moving forward, see how big a difference this makes. I will speak right at this point. The mind does whatever you tell it, because it is a slave. You say, "Progress cannot happen in Pakistan." The mind has one job. The mind is a slave. What does a slave say? "Yes, sir." Does a slave ever prove his master wrong? Whatever the master says, what is the slave's role? What will he say? "Yes, sir." Now listen—what do we do all day? "There is so much corruption in Pakistan. Honesty cannot work." What does the mind have to say? "Yes, sir." "Progress cannot happen in Pakistan." "People in Pakistan are not good." "When a daughter-in-law goes to her husband's home after marriage, she doesn't get along with her mother-in-law." "When a daughter-in-law comes home, she doesn't respect her mother-in-law." "After marriage, fights in the house are inevitable." Whatever you say, the mind has only one thing to say: "Yes, sir." You say the opposite: "In Pakistan, top places are always vacant." "Yes, sir." "There is no shortage of good people in Pakistan." "Yes, yes." "There are opportunities for progress in Pakistan." "Today's girls are so educated, today's generation is so good that they know how to handle relationships better than any previous generation." The mind says what you tell it. The mind never makes you wrong. "I don't meet good people." "I don't meet good people." What does the mind say? Now what will happen? "Yes, sir." Now you start meeting people. You meet many people. When a good person comes in front of you, the mind puts a veil over him. It doesn't let him reach you, because the mind doesn't want to prove you wrong. Let me give you an example. I strongly disliked going to the kitchen—I do and I will. I don't like going to the kitchen. So one day, my late mother said to me, "Son, go get a matchbox from the kitchen." I was studying. So I said, "How would I know what a matchbox is? I've never been to the kitchen." Saying this, I got up—after all, it was an order. I entered the kitchen, muttering under my breath, "How would I know? What a nuisance. I was studying. Go find the matchbox." And I searched for that matchbox. Alhamdulillah, I did not find the matchbox—because I kept saying that. So with great pride and pleasure, I said, "Amma, I couldn't find the matchbox," because I wanted it not to be found. Mother came and said, "Have you gone blind? What is this? Brother, the matchbox is right in front of you on the shelf." But if the matchbox had been visible, I would have been proven wrong. So would my mind, which is a slave, prove its master wrong? This is exactly our situation: whatever order we give the mind, it works accordingly. And today's program is about this very thing.

The biggest similarity between these two is that you are the programmer of both. You do the programming of this one, and you also do the programming of that one. You install whatever software you want in it, and uninstall whatever you don't want. That's what you do. In my laptop, I install the kind of software I need for my work, and I work accordingly. It is the same with you. The same goes here. I give an example: a man completes basic education. After that, he enrolls in some four- or five-year professional degree—it could be engineering, medicine, AI, anything according to today's times. So that four- or five-year program he chooses is the time to install the software. In those 4 years or 5 years, this software will be installed. Right? It is the same. Now understand: a man chose the software of medicine for himself. How much time does this software take? He chose a 5-year software. When the 5 years are complete, after installing the software of medicine, will he become a good engineer? No. Why? Because the software of engineering also takes 5 years, the same amount of time. The difference is in the programming—the kind of software determines the kind of result. Now listen to where the problem arises. From birth until we grow up, in our society, the majority gets programmed. "We cannot succeed." "You cannot move forward." "In Pakistan, merit is violated." "Leaders are not good." "People are not good." Does this programming happen or not? Now you have been programmed that you cannot succeed, and you want to succeed. The difference is in the programming. You can succeed with this program. All of you do countless programming. I watched your program "Bano Qabil" some days ago, and I really enjoyed it. That is programming. That too is part of programming. Now understand—when we are young. How many of you are looking for a job? By the way, a good one. Okay? More than 50%. Now understand—when we were small, we were told at home, "If you get a good education, you will get a good job." Right? We went to school; the teacher told us, "If you study with dedication, you will get a good job." We went to college and university; they told us, "If you study with dedication, you will get a good job." Then you will get married to a good match. With the job, the wedding starts, right? Then we moved a bit further; we were told, "Good education, good job, good girl, good career—then the doors of the whole world will open for you." We have been hearing this, haven't we? Now we want to become entrepreneurs, do our own work, do business. What kind of programming is this? With this programming, whenever you go out for a job—sorry, for business—for entrepreneurship, what happens to you? Research shows that out of every 100 new businesses that start, 95 fail in the first year, and out of the remaining five, four fail in the next 4 to 5 years. Only one business survives in 5 years. What is the reason? Programming. So you are the programmer of both. Whatever kind of life you want to live, you will install that kind of software here, and then things will work.

Now, how does programming happen? The mind, as I said, is a supercomputer. A computer needs software to run. This mobile cannot run by itself. It is a machine; it needs software. Without software, nothing works. So this mind also needs software to run. What is this mind? Siri paye—how many of you have eaten goat or buffalo's siri paye? They crack open the skull. That brain is visible to you, right? Similarly, the human brain is also visible. That is the brain. It is a machine. It needs software to run. When I open it, its RAM, ROM, and all other parts will be visible. Will its software be visible? What runs it? But the software is invisible. Yet because of it, everything is working. Similarly, your brain is a visible product. It can be weighed. It can be seen. But the software that runs it is the human mind. So as much as you upgrade the software, the results will be according to the software. Is this clear so far? Now let's go a little further. I have put software in it as well. What is needed to run this software? An operator. Now it has software. Will this mobile run on its own, or do you have to give it commands? You have to give commands. So you also have the software. To run this software, commands are needed. Where will they come from? What is that called? What is the command? Who is its operator? Who? Couldn't understand? Thoughts. Thoughts—very good. Excellent, excellent. Thinking—the software is your thinking. According to what you think, the mind programs the body. The body responds accordingly. I just did the lemon activity. I created a particular thought inside you. That thought created particular feelings, particular sensations, a particular taste. Where did that entire journey start? From thought. And see how important this is—where do all the ideas in the world start? Whether it is science and technology, space sciences, or any other field. These ideas are born here. It is said that everything that exists in the world is created twice. Once here, once in the physical world. This program in which you are present today—where was it first created? Then today you are sitting in this program. Leave aside the one who created it—look at yourself. Before coming to this program, where did you create the imagination of coming to this program? "I will go to this program." First it was created here, then it happened here. It is the same. The same goes with success and failure. Success is created here first, then created there; and failure is created here first, then created there. "I will be successful" or "I will fail" or "I cannot progress in Pakistan"—where is this concept being created? So everything is created here first. Success and failure are also first born here. Please examine yourself. MashaAllah, you are very energetic and trendy people, but there are countless people around you. Look carefully—people wake up in the morning, stand in front of the mirror, and get ready. What do some of them say? "What a trouble, man—same routine again. Meeting new people—what a nuisance. A trouble. I don't know when life will become easy." Whatever seed you sow here, you will reap that crop. On the other hand, some people say, "Wow! Today I will get another chance to meet new people. I will learn something new. How much fun it's going to be!" Which of the two will succeed? The world is not sowing this seed; you are sowing this seed yourself. You decide whether you want to succeed or fail. I press a button; it goes forward twice. That means it says, "Brother, slow down." I won't give in until it listens to me. Okay. The same goes with health and sickness. The imagination "I am sick" or "I am successful" is born here.

Many thanks to the madam. She introduced me very nicely. I started my career with professional fighting—the kind of matches you see in movies. No-rules fights or death fights, as they are called—I fought those fights. I fought those bouts. Well, that time has passed. Just as sometimes the weather attacks you, or sickness attacks you, it also attacks me. I feel very ashamed. Arif Siddiqui, black belt, folded down—"Oh, oh," he is moaning. Sick—shut up, idiot. You are sick? Aren't you ashamed? There is so much embarrassment from within: "Man, you are a super-fit person, and you say you have fallen sick?" By Allah's grace, I have such thinking inside me. Everything is by Allah's grace. So this thinking is also by Allah's grace—that I do not accept that sickness. I wake up in the morning. How many of you say, "Man, I never get enough sleep. Even after waking up, I feel tired. It's a big problem." Then how does the day go? It goes as you say. Alhamdulillah, Allah has given a new day. Fun is about to come. Energy—like me, I am youth, I am young. So when this thought is there, what will happen? This life will be like that. The same goes with richness and poverty. Wealth and poverty are born here before the means. Because I said that everything—success or failure—is first born here, then born there. Sickness or health is first born here, then born there. Similarly, poverty or richness is born here. "Just man, nobody cares about the poor."

In this country, no one truly belongs to anyone lately. Think, think about how things change, just listen. It's a very important figure. I went to the shop to buy this mobile phone. This mobile is lying here. I asked, how much is this mobile? He said, this mobile is this much. I don't have the money. I said, oh, I cannot afford it. Oh, I cannot afford it. This is a statement. And I told you that the mind responds the way you speak. What does the mind always say? Okay, I said, okay, I cannot afford it. What did the mind say? And in the hidden comma, it also said, shut up idiot, you cannot afford it. You are right. Okay, now I went to buy this phone. I still don't have the money. I asked, how much is it? The shopkeeper said, this much. I said, how can I afford it? I still don't have the money. First, I gave a statement to my mind. You cannot afford it. Shut up. Secondly, I gave a command to my mind that I want to afford it. Tell me what to do. Tell me, brother, what should I do to be able to afford this? Tell me, how will the mind respond in both situations? In the first, what will it do? It will say, no, brother. In the second, what will it do? It will work. You have heard very interesting proverbs. Spread your legs according to your sheet. What a good proverb. Yes. What does it mean? Stay within your resources. Shrink yourself. Let's change it. Make arrangements for the sheet according to how much you want to spread your legs. Now, how will your mind work? Brother, I have few resources. Now my mind is telling me to shrink myself. No need to work hard. Stay within your means. And on the other hand, I command my mind, brother, make arrangements for the sheet according to how much you want to spread your legs. Now, how will the mind work? The same society, the same community, the same university, the same institution. Some people grow, some cannot grow. So if it were due to circumstances, then the circumstances were the same for those who are growing. So then how did this change come about? Due to whom is the change happening? The change is happening due to thinking. Where have I gone from where to where? Next time, I will bring my own remote too. Okay. Here we were. We started talking about health, that health and sickness are important to you. Now you go for a job, you go for business, you voluntarily join an organization, and you tell yourself, man, there is a lot of tension here, a lot of workload. You get a headache as soon as you go there. What will the mind say in response? Man, I enjoy working here. I meet new people. Man, I learn here. I grow myself. What will the mind say in response? Man, the workload of the institution I work for will break my back. One day it will break my nerves. What will the mind say in response? The workload of the institution I work for is making me strong. And I will be able to carry bigger burdens. What will the mind say? So what will you say then? You will not say yes, sir. That's what the mind will say. What will you say? Okay. Now, see, if you understand how words work in programming, then understand that you are the creator of your own destiny. You program it. As the programming will be, so will the life be. Isn't that right? Now, positive and negative thinking. A person takes darkness with them wherever they go with negative thinking. They take sadness, and a person takes greenery, light, hope, and enthusiasm wherever they go. Both types of people are met. You meet some people, sit with them for half an hour, and you feel like committing suicide. Why was I born? Oh God, save me. After half an hour, a person feels like dying. Have you met such people? On the other hand, there are such people too. Sit with them for a few minutes, and you understand the purpose of life. You feel like, man, I wish I had met this person earlier. I would have recognized myself and gone somewhere. Has this happened too? What kind of people would you prefer to sit with? With positive people. Is this an intelligent decision? Then those you meet will also make the same decision to meet those who are positive. So think, when you meet them, do you talk positively, talk about giving hope, talk about certainty, talk about success, or talk about despair? Talk about failure. What do you talk about? Understand how this journey starts. A very important slide is in front of you. The journey of your life begins with thinking. What you think, oh my goodness. What you think becomes your beliefs. I can do this, or I cannot do this. This is a belief. It is said that if you think you can, you are right. And if you think you cannot, again, you are right, because it is you who make the decision whether you can do it or not. So your thinking creates your beliefs. People are good or bad, this is a belief. Can Pakistan progress or not, this is a belief. Can I do this work or not, this is a belief. And what is a belief made of? Thinking. As you have beliefs, so do your values form. Your values. I will lie, I will deceive people, I will not lie, I will tell the truth, I will help people. I will crush people and move forward, or I will take people along and move forward. Your proverbs create beliefs. I will say a few proverbs. Cut-throat competition. What belief will form? To get ahead, you have to cut throats. The proverb, "Over my dead body." You can go ahead over me. I won't let you go ahead. This is a belief. Making a father is the biggest money, brother. In times of need, you have to call even a donkey father. These proverbs, these words, create thinking. Thinking creates beliefs. According to your beliefs, your values are formed, whether I have to call a donkey father or not. As your values are, so will be your principles. You make the principles of living your life according to your values, right? So these will be them. After that, as your principles are, so will be your behavior, your attitude towards people. Then, as your behavior is. So will be your character. People will say, he is a good person. People will say, he is not a good person. He is punctual, he is not punctual. He keeps his promises. He does not keep his promises. Its foundation started from there. As the character will be, so will you act. As you act, so will you live your life. This is it. Now let's come to the beginning, thinking. Let's put good before it. Good thinking, good beliefs, good values, good principles, good behavior, good character, good action. And at the end, let's put bad. What will be at the end? Let's put positive here. What will be here? Let's put negative here. What will be here? Let's put optimistic here. What will be here? Here we put, yes, very good. Who said that? Well done. She says that if we put overthinking before thinking, what will happen? Overthinking paralyzes you. It doesn't let you move forward at all. Just like a rocking chair. You move but don't go anywhere, so you will remain standing there. You won't even be able to go to the next step. Say it again, madam. The voice doesn't reach from so far away. Active and last, how is it possible that the seed you have sown, have you ever said that I will sow a mango seed and harvest it? No, it's a seed whose harvest you will reap your entire life. When I give its proof, all your questions will be answered, God willing. Sir, we consider positive thinking, where is the sound coming from? Okay, sir, we go with positive thinking, but our involvement is in their circumstances, they are okay, our positive thinking changes, okay, it becomes negative too, it becomes positive, it becomes negative, what is its name? Now, a very good question. I have a question. What is your environment made of? People. Your environment is made of people. Now, people make you negative. That's what you said, right? This means that technically, theoretically, if one person can make you negative, then you can also make them positive. It's just a matter of strength, that you have to make yourself stronger than them. If the environment can change you, then can't you also change the environment? Can you or can you not? For that, your effort, commitment, patience, technique, perseverance will play a role. Okay? Yes, yes. Everyone has stopped at positive thinking, saying it's impossible to think. What is this person saying, to think of troubles. Okay, very good. He says that if you go through life with positivity, how will you live? The important thing, sir, you also know that life is both. Okay? If you carry positivity, what will be its purpose? We carry both. We carry both. First of all, what is positivity? Try to identify positivity. Someone asked the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about a famous Arab saying: "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed." Help him in both cases. What is your opinion? The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, help your brother in all circumstances, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed." That man was surprised by what he said. He sought clarification, so he said: "If your brother is an oppressor, then stopping his hand is helping him. If your brother is oppressed, then standing with him is helping him." See, he stopped his hand, he fought, but what is the intention behind it? What is the intention? The intention is positive. You stop your child from going to certain places. Okay? What is the intention behind this? Positive. So you carry the intentions. You leave the results to God. I will give an example of this. It will clarify the matter for you immediately. You had two questions. One was this. Repeat the second one. What about living life? So, should life be lived negatively or positively? It's positive. So, to live that positively, you have to crush negatives along the way. You have to move away from negatives. You have to avoid them. We are with good and evil. We strive for hell. For paradise. This means we are with the positive. You strive for success in the world, not for failure. This means you are with positivity. Do you work to displease your parents, or to please your parents? Your entire life revolves around positivity. Now try to make it negative. The purpose of that life will be lost. Actually, the meaning of positivity has not been clarified in your mind yet. It will probably be clarified in a while. Okay. First, raise your hand. Who is speaking? Okay. Yes. Yes, sir. Our positive thinking and their thing is that if I think positively, the environment will also be in front of me. Okay, this is not necessary. It is not necessary, but there are possibilities. While coming, I talked about the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship in a humorous way, and in someone's mind, it's running that she can never be like a real mother to me. She is just like that. With these thoughts, the expressions on your face will change. Your body language will change. The lines on your forehead will change. The sharpness of your tone will change, so it will affect the other person too. On the other hand, if you make these things completely positive, and the other person is negative, then there is a possibility that seeing your love, your sincerity, your earnestness, the other person may be persuaded to change their opinion. But this will not happen with just thoughts. Some actions will also have to be done along with it. As I said, thoughts ultimately lead to actions. If manifestation is done, then when we program with positivity on the Law of Attraction, then we will talk about manifestation. I have a great quality that no matter how much people try to divert me from my topic, they can never succeed. You won't be able to either. Because the Law of Attraction, manifestation of goals, alpha state of mind, creative visualization is a completely different topic, and it is my field. I am the master of that. But today's platform is not for that. So we will talk about what this topic is for. Okay, I said I will give proof. I said I will give proof. And the biggest proof I have is the Holy Quran. Now, what proof does the Holy Quran give? In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 101, Allah Almighty says that those who are God-fearing, the God-fearing are successful, listen carefully. The state of those who are God-fearing is that if a thought from Satan touches them even for a moment, they immediately become alert. Then they clearly see what the right course of action is for them. Now I am underlining, a bad thought. A bad thought. Where did the previous slide start from, sir? What is thinking? So I am not fabricating philosophy from my own mind. I have proof for it. Now, what does that proof say? The first thing is that negative thinking attacks even the successful God-fearing people. Because they know, from whom does this negative thinking come? Your answer will be added gradually. When negative thinking occurs, we go towards it, what is the purpose of living? Without negative thinking, because we are living for Satan. This is what the concept of the Holy Quran is saying. Okay, from whom is negative thinking? Yes, from Satan. Then why are they God-fearing? They immediately become alert that the thoughts that are being misled, negativity is being put into the thoughts, it will make us fail. So, the God-fearing and the non-God-fearing, the successful or the unsuccessful. According to the Holy Quran, a big difference between them is controlling thoughts. Suppressing bad thoughts, awakening positive thoughts. And if you do not do this, if you do not do this, you will have to pay its price. Everything in this world has a price. Everything in the hereafter also has a price. Paradise also has a price. Hell also has a price. Until you pay that price, you will get that price. If you do not control that thinking, saying, "No, I will just live like this. Life is like this." Then okay. Let's see the price. If any of you have a medical background, they can confirm or deny this. The price of your bad thinking, high blood pressure, depression, frustration, increased appetite, poor appetite, blood pressure, sugar, who knows how many problems are born from thoughts. They are not physical. Physical symptoms are seen. They are born here. Now, how are they born? See. You say a person is very depressed. What is depression? Thinking. A person got angry. He killed someone. What is this? Thinking. His heart failed. What happened? The young son had an accident. He couldn't bear the shock. What is shock? Brain hemorrhage occurred. What happened? Blood pressure shot up. How did it shoot up? He got angry. What is anger? So-and-so person was shot. Why? Man, he didn't think about him. So-and-so person is suffering from depression. So-and-so person is suffering from anxiety. These are names of thoughts, depression and anxiety, right? So, you see that if you do not control these thoughts, you have to pay its price. Yes, now you can ask questions. You had raised your hand. Didn't understand? I couldn't understand the question. Your voice is breaking in between. Speak without this. You are sitting close. Yes, how can you differentiate between overthinking and critical thinking? In overthinking, you are not analyzing the problem. You are thinking about its negative aspects. In critical thinking, you are looking at both its positive and negative aspects. For example, those who have studied SWOT analysis, if you do a SWOT analysis, that is critical thinking. And thinking about something without taking action, thinking that this might happen, this might happen, this might happen. This is the overthinking that leads you to paralysis. Mental paralysis, so that you cannot take any action, do any work. Yes. Sir, you talked about health, that what you think is your health, and you said that if you wake up and feel it, and it passes like that, so my question is, where do you draw? My voice broke in between, but I think I understood your point. I will do an activity with all of you because I said these 90 minutes can be extremely life-changing. So let's see, what can just thinking do? Let's check. Please stand up. Everyone. Now I don't know how much space there is in these chairs, but I think something can be done. If it's too crowded, some people can come to the stairs or open up. Move away from each other as much as possible. See, I am going to do an activity with you, a test that can entirely change the concepts in your mind about the brain and body, the brain and its results. What is the activity? I will try to make you hear even without this. Can you hear? Okay, at the end. Understand. Do not bend your knees. Keep your legs close. Do not bend from the waist. Easily, check how much your capacity is for flexibility of the waist. First, look at this. For example, when I go down, some will go here, some will go here, up to here, wherever they go, don't look down, just check how much your flexibility is. Suppose it's here, it's here, wherever your limit is, that's your limit. Okay, check your limit. Water bottle limit checked. Everyone. Okay. Stand up. Keep standing. I am also standing. Just like you did that activity, that was a false imagination. Now see what can truly happen. You will perform this activity with me in imagination, as I say. Whoever performs it with an open mind, their self-perception will change after this activity. And whoever does it with a closed mind, I can't say anything. What do you have to do? You have to close your eyes. I will guide you through imagination. Just imagine that you are touching your feet again. And your flexibility is increasing. No one should do it physically. You will stand straight like this. You will just think, and you will think the way I tell you. This is a 1.5 to 2 minute activity, and it might change your mindset forever. Are you ready for this? Yes. Have you checked your limit? Waist flexibility. Okay. Close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. When you inhale, think flexibility. When you inhale, think about flexibility, that flexibility is coming into your body. And when you exhale, imagine that stiffness is going out of your body. Those who have tied their hands, open your hands. Relax your body completely. Inhale flexibility and exhale stiffness. When you inhale, imagine that flexibility is entering and increasing in your body. Just think that flexibility is increasing. And when you exhale, the stiffness, rigidity, tension, troubles of the body are all going out. Once more.

Inhale flexibility and exhale stiffness. Now, with your eyes closed, imagine you are bending down again, and your hands are reaching down an inch or two, or even two and a half inches further than before. Imagine you are going down. See yourself doing it, and when you bring your hands down, add expressions of happiness to your face, thinking, "Wow, this has become so enjoyable! My flexibility has increased. Be happy now. Come back."

Once again, inhale flexibility and exhale stiffness. Go down again, go down, as before in your imagination, and imagine that now, instead of 2 inches, you have gone down an inch and a half further, up to 3 inches. Now, add surprise to this, to your emotions. Along with happiness, add surprise: "I didn't go to the gym, I didn't warm up, I didn't do anything, and just by thinking while standing, my flexibility increased!" Flexibility is life. So, go down, feel it more, add conviction and happiness, and come back.

Inhale flexibility and exhale stiffness. Go down one more time, further down than before, and now add surprise, happiness, and conviction that this has happened. Conviction that, "Wow, I did it!" If you have conviction, how will your heart beat? If you have conviction, what will be the pace of your breath? If this has truly happened, what will be the state of your happiness? Bring all of this to your mind. Come back, and for the last time, inhale flexibility and exhale stiffness. Now, for the last time, go down with the conviction that you have done it. People who achieve this flexibility in six months, you have done it in one minute. Conviction, belief, go down. With conviction. And when you see yourself in your imagination, down to the bottom, add happiness and surprise. Thank you very much. Come back and open your eyes. We didn't do anything, right? Now, see the connection between the mind and body, of positive thoughts. What? Now, do it physically, and honestly, just by looking, your flexibility will tell you how much work has been done. Correct. Go down, check it. I love it. What happened? See how much difference it has made to you. I was watching you, see how much difference it has made to you. Please be seated. Have you been to any gym? Yes, silent please. I had said that this session, if you spend 90 or 100 minutes with me attentively, with an open mind, it will change the direction of your entire life. Now, you see, you have given a suggestion to your mind that I can do this, or I can do this. The limit that has been created for me is not it. I am made to go beyond this. I have given suggestions to your mind in a special way, four or five times today, as a hypnotist. I have given suggestions to your mind in a special way. I have used the rhythm of your breath. I have developed new neural patterns in your mind. After that, when you did it, the result is in front of you. And you will realize that increasing physical flexibility to this extent is the work of three to six months in the gym. It takes three to six months, which you have done in two to three minutes. How? From here. Now, this was positive thinking, my brother. How? Because no. I said, "Do this." So, someone might be thinking, "What nonsense is this? How can this happen? Brother, my waist is just this much. How can it increase because of this? I have never warmed up. I will get choked, a problem will arise." One person has this in their mind. This is negative thinking. Another person thinks, "This can happen. If the speaker is saying it, they are saying it based on some experience. They are claiming it, based on some foundation." So, when you did it, the result came in front of you. So, can this mindset be applied to every aspect of life? Wherever you think you cannot do it, add this, and can the results change? This was our main theme today. But what are the obstacles? What I am making you do now, why doesn't it happen with everyone? It is happening here. Why won't it happen when you go home? Or why won't there be conviction in it? For that, we need to see what is the killer of our mental health. Who is our biggest enemy? So, let's see, the thing that you dislike hearing the most, it's its turn for the youth. Excessive screen time is the biggest enemy of your mental health. It is said that an average university student spends five to ten hours, sometimes on screen. Constant scrolling. What is the result of that? Sleep quality decreases. How many people are there who don't feel fresh even after sleeping? Honestly, tell me. Yes. More than 90%. What is the reason? You are not understanding the principle of the universe. The universe works on rest. The heart pumps, it rests. The lungs breathe in, breathe out, they rest. You blink your eyelids, close them, open them. Rest. The sun comes, the moon comes. Everyone has responsibilities. You are not giving your body proper rest. The body is not recovering. You are not giving your mind rest. The mind is not able to recover. Think about what can happen with thoughts. How many people among you go to the gym? Raise your hands. Among the young ones, who can do push-ups? Who can do them with one hand? Come here. You can't do them, come here. You can't do them. You too. You too. You too. Come here. Both of you. Check shirt, blue shirt. You also lowered your hand. Both of you come here. These two cannot do push-ups. Come here, come here, come here. Why can't they do it? They are fit, aren't they? There's no physical problem, right? Push-ups. Good. Come here. Come here. What's the problem with you? Come. One more person, come. Someone come who has never done a one-handed push-up. Come, come. Yes, yes, this is it. Clap. Well done. You have never done them before, right? No. Now, see something. Something that has not been done before, and it takes people many years to do it on one hand, they can't do it. You will follow my body posture. Okay, you will do it. Okay. See, hands like this. Place your hands slowly. Open your hands. Bring your hands towards your shoulders. Okay. Then you go down. Come up completely. Go down completely. Let me tell you, I am 55 years old. Okay, I will make you do it well. You have to do this exercise mentally, just mentally. Okay. Okay. Okay. Close your eyes. Open your hands. Brother, you do dips. You have done push-ups before, right? You are feeling very down about yourself. What is the reason? No problem. You will be brave today. Close your eyes. Just see what can happen. If you can follow me. Inhale strength and exhale weakness. When you inhale, imagine that it is going into your arm muscles, to the extent necessary to do one-hand push-ups. Exhale all the doubts. Remove all doubts about yourself. Inhale strength, inhale belief, and exhale weakness and doubts. Straighten your back. See? This is very important. Believing in it. Very good, very good. Inhale strength, inhale belief, and exhale doubts and weaknesses. Imagine, as I showed you the posture on the ground, imagine you are standing in that posture, back straight, weight on your hands. Go down. Feel energy in your arms. Think that you can do it. Come up. Yes, you did it. Express happiness. Your heart should beat with joy. Inhale strength. Exhale doubts. Go down again. Go down on one hand. Come up. Surprise, conviction, and happiness. Combination. Go down again. Imagine. Come back. Thank you very much. Open your eyes. Let's try. One hand. Hand like this. Yes, very good. Two. One is not coming out. Join. Excellent. Super fit. You have never done it before. An instructor would train for months, and you don't know if you'll be able to do it or not. But sitting here, in sessions like this, you can break mental barriers in a few minutes. Body muscles are important. But even more important than body muscles are mental muscles, emotional muscles. Your mental and emotional muscles control your body muscles. We did the exact opposite. All the effort we put in, on which muscles did we put it? Body muscles. Did you ever, before today, work on emotional muscles or mental muscles? Many haven't even heard the name. So, how will you work on something whose name you haven't even heard? So, dears, your life can become so easy by controlling this. Tasks can become so enjoyable. You asked about illness. This is the immune system. How to strengthen it? You saw how muscles are strengthened. How can illness be controlled? There are many such things that you can grow yourself by protecting yourself from these killers and working on your mind. Then what happens from this? Your screen time reduces your attention span. How many of you are from my era, meaning those who have watched three-hour movies at the age of 25-25? Who has watched three-hour movies? There is one, right? Those in the back. Okay. Then what happened? Movies became two hours, one and a half hours, one hour. YouTube 10 minutes, Facebook seven minutes. Then came Reels. Now, even 90-minute Reels are watched completely. How is this happening? You are poisoning yourselves because this disturbs your attention span. Your education, your career, your focus is ruined. Then anxiety and depression increase. What is the reason? The reason is that all the notifications that come, dopamine is the chemical that produces happiness in the brain, releases it. For very small reasons, your brain repeatedly demands artificial dopamine. What happens to an addict? Why does an addict need the drug every so often? No matter how much you scold them. They need that dopamine release. Whether it feels bad to you or good, but if someone is addicted to screen time, they are as much of an addict as someone taking other drugs, cocaine, because they are also going for dopamine repeatedly, and you are also going for it repeatedly. This is affecting your studies. Your memory is affected. Now, see if you are a victim of this or not. If you want to use your mind the way I want you to, I am giving you a practical demonstration. Meaning, this is not a lecture. I am making you do it, showing you how it can be done. Demonstration. Now, a few questions for you. Ask yourselves. Tell me, is it necessary to check your mobile as soon as you wake up? Yes. Next, are you still using your mobile an hour before sleeping? Meaning, the mobile falls on you or goes under the pillow? This is happening, right? Let's move on. Repeatedly checking your phone without any reason? How many are happily saying, "Yes." Although this should be said with shame, "Yes, yes." They are saying, "Yes." When you are attending lectures in university, college, do you also feel like checking what's happening in between? Oh ho. Just for 5 minutes, for 5 minutes. And those 5 minutes take half an hour of yours. This also happens. So, if three or more of these answers are "yes," then you are a victim of digital dependency. I have shown you the mirror. I know that at this moment, I am like poison to you. And those children whose mothers have come along will be nudging them, "See what sir is saying. See what sir is saying." Mothers will be doing this. But to the girls, I am like poison, saying, "Look what kind of things he is saying." But actually, these are the signs that you are a victim of digital dependency. I was in Murree for personal training, and I was returning. I was telling my wife, "Pray that the situation improves. May Allah make it easy, then I will get a button phone, God willing." I didn't have a button phone. She asked, "What did you say?" I said, "When Allah makes it easy, gives a lot of money, then I will get a button phone, God willing." She said, "You are going the opposite way of the mind. People say that when it becomes easy, they will get this model. Why do you want to go to a button phone?" Because I don't want to depend on this. The real reason is that at this moment, it is a compulsion of my work that I have to work on this. Otherwise, I wish I didn't have to. Many of you are not dependent on this yet. Your work can continue without it, or with a little bit of it. You have to manage. So, see if you are a victim of digital dependency, then treat yourself, otherwise you will become addicted. Now, screen time can be good, and it can be bad. What you are taking for education, what is that? Good. Now, see, if screen time is excessive, what is happening? Anxiety, stress, disturbed sleep, affecting work capacity, mood swings. Social isolation. On the other hand, moderate screen time improves your focus. Memory improves. Read a book. Reading a book is very good. But the content of that book will be less preserved in your memory. Watch a movie made on that book. That will be better for it. Then your memory improves, grades improve, sleep improves, relationships improve. Now, screen time is necessary in today's time. Now, the question is, do we want this or this? Now, the next question is, if you use your mobile for six hours daily, look at it, check it by taking it out. So, tell me, in a year, how many days are you on your mobile? And for what purpose? This determines your future life. So, tell me, if an assignment is given, who is ready to do a seven-day challenge? What's the harm in raising your hand? We will do it. Seven days challenge. Everyone. She is not agreeing for a week. She says, "No, why should I do it?" Okay, there is no minus. There are only easy things. No phone during meals. Who is worried about weight? Those who are worried about weight, quite a few. Because I am also a slimming consultant. When I check them, I ask questions like this. Among those who are overweight, most of them have one similarity: they are watching screen, mobile, or TV while eating. They don't realize what they are eating, how much they are eating. They are watching TV, lost in it, eating, engaged with their mobile, eating. So, during meals, at least during the meals you eat, the tea you drink, there will be no phone with us. Who agrees? Let's see who fulfills the commitment. Not much after waking up. Just 30 minutes, father. Oh, you woke up, performed ablution, went to the washroom, made yourself presentable, meaning makeup. Okay. So, at least 30 minutes after waking up, no phone use. Is it possible? There was a time when after waking up, the first thing was to pray. Then there was recitation of the Holy Quran. That took 30-40 minutes. Who ate all of that? I am telling you honestly, doesn't the mobile come before prayer in the morning? How dangerous is this? So, for whom is it possible to take this challenge, that after waking up, at least half an hour, 30 minutes, no mobile. And in a week, you yourself will take more from your mental health, what is it? Agreed? A true yes. Those social apps you watch on Facebook, Instagram, that's what we're talking about, right? You woke up, turned off the alarm, or whatever. Let's take the alarm too. Okay, today, do an experiment. Everyone will do a beautiful experiment. What time do you set your alarm for tomorrow? Children, 9:00 AM. 9:00 AM? For Fajr. It will be Fajr time. You write Fajr on your mobile? Yes? 3:30, 3:30, 4. You tell the mobile, 3:30, 4. I have never learned to set an alarm like that. You have to give it a time. What time do you give? Okay. Suppose, for example. My alarm is set for 4:30. For example. Do an experiment. The positivity of today's session will be with you, so do it today. The later you leave it, the less the effect. One hour before night, as I said, put the mobile aside. Before sleeping, while sleeping, count backward from 10 to one. With every breath. I was making you do it, like 10 means 10, 9, 8. No, count backward with every breath. From 10 to one. You have set the alarm for 4:30. After counting down from 10 to one, tell your mind three times that my eyes will open at 4:29 and 20 seconds in the morning. Give it calculations up to seconds. Seconds. And the fun part is, this is 1 minute before the alarm, right? The alarm will ring later, and your eyes will open before the alarm. 100% they will open. But you have to follow the method. It's an issue with Allah that it will open. We will then turn it off and sleep. For that, we will do the next step. When you learn things like self-hypnosis, mind control, then we add that I will wake up at this time, and I will remain fresh, refreshed, I will work, I will study for 8 hours. That programming of the mind. The journey started with programming. You program the mind, and as soon as you program it, the next day will be like that. This small step that you can do yourself. Time. If you succeed in setting the time, it means you have climbed the first step for self-mind programming. So, you will do this experiment too. Okay. One hour before, no phone. Okay. Unnecessary notifications. These can be turned off today. Is it necessary that as soon as someone likes you, comments on you, a notification comes immediately, and you reply, otherwise it will be missed? Is this necessary? So, for whom is it possible? My professional phone, I have turned off notifications. Despite this, notifications are off. For one week only, I am saying. Later, if there is no benefit, return to the routine. During study, you take the material you need from it. After that, during study, do not check the phone repeatedly with excuses. Agree? No, mother. It's not happening from the heart. Yes. This is a difficult task, isn't it? You are turning off the phone during study. I will study like this. After that, the necessary things, okay. Fun is also necessary. Just like fasting during the day, digital fasting or digital detox is necessary. Free yourself for one hour. I am not saying free yourself for 23 hours. One hour, no social media, no matter what happens. Who agrees? Just one week. Analyze yourselves today. Your thoughts, your sleep, your health, your productivity. And follow this challenge for a week. And after a week, if you don't see a significant difference, then don't do it. Like, I am seeing our brothers who were asking questions, they are still engaged with their mobiles, their apps. No problem. Okay. This habit, it will be cut gradually. Taking notes. Good. You will also get them.

Things. Good. And the last reading and writing that those who are reading in education, they are already there. Those who are like me, who have come to teach instead of studying. At least reading 10 pages of any book daily is necessary. Who agrees? Yes, child, do you want to ask a question? My page is finished. Now you can ask a question. Someone had kept the mic. Yes, dear. Assalamu Alaikum. My question is that what you have challenged, I have been challenging for a long time, but after a while, after a while, it decreases, again consistency is our very big problem that I challenge myself many times. Many, many days, sometimes many, many weeks I do this. After that, I switch again. As long as you are not giving your mind an alternative. Now look what happened, if I come back to the last slide, then look, it said no, no, no, no phone. What did it say in the end? Alternative. As long as you don't give your mind an alternative. We tell children, children, don't use mobile. Brother, I used to go to the ground. Today my child is not influenced by the ground. I used to go for swimming. There is no pool near my child's house at this time. I used to bathe in canals. Now children say there should be a swimming pool. Now there is no alternative to it. So as long as there is no alternative, this habit will not end. Replacement is needed, sir. Okay? Because time is limited. If we do a big workshop, I will give you bigger sessions. Now, because our time is about to complete, I will say two or four more things, yes, ask. You have majority here, yes, who is speaking? Who is speaking? Raise your hand. I, okay, here. Yes, yes, speak. Under 18, okay. So now they only have a laptop. But mother said you heard. When I say screen time, screen time includes TV. Everything is included in screen time. Children are thinking, it would have been good if only we had come. Okay, I'll come to the next closing. After that, what is your name, brother? Friends from Punjab University, not the ones next to them who asked many questions. Ismail, okay. Very wonderful who asked questions, but because things were relating, I was waiting for things to come along and get cleared. One more thing, should we think positively or negatively? How can a person live in only one direction? The interesting thing is that Allah Almighty has made the processing of your mind in such a way that in more than 90% of matters, your mind registers even negative sentences as positive. You say negative, and the mind registers it as positive. Mother, listen carefully to my words that you are stopping things. But the child is still doing it. What is the reason? Close your eyes. Close your eyes, please. Close your eyes. Eyes, madam, here with the nose, there are two eyes. Close them. Yes, eyes closed. And what I will say, please, it's just 30 seconds. Follow exactly. Do not think about a monkey. Do not think about a monkey. What does a monkey look like? Beware. No one will think of a monkey. Open your eyes. What happened? What happened, sir? The monkey came. Well, there was no monkey since morning. There was no monkey for many months. Your mind, I said don't think, but first it thought. When you give commands to your mind, the mind starts thinking about it. If I tell you not to look back, what will be the first thought in your mind? Look back. Well, why am I forbidding you? I want you to look straight. So why not say, look straight. Okay, now keep your attention in front. When I say this, the mind will go back. Now I am saying don't look back, so what happened? The mind is going there. The negative has fallen. When I was studying in school, it was customary to write good things on the school walls. I don't know if it is now. Well, at that time, I think today that I have forgotten the syllabus. If I had acted upon the things written on the walls, Pakistan would have been a very good Pakistan today. Now I will tell a few things and you tell me why I and you did not act upon them? The mind registers negative sentences as positive. It was written on a wall, do not lie. We lie. What happened? "Do not" fell. What is left? It was written further, do not fight. "Do not" fell. Do not backbite. Do not eat haram. What is happening to everyone? Can these sentences be changed into positive phrases? Or can we change them now? The fathers love these girls sitting here very much. They love us in a different way. We are like this, so it is like this, who in the house has been beaten by their father? First of all, hands are raised here. Yes, it's fun. Have been beaten. Well, father is a bit strict and mother is soft. What does she always do? Comes and saves. So mother is good, she saves. Father is cruel, he beats. Now listen carefully why you were beaten. Listen. For example, there is a rule at home that you should not stay out after sunset. You got late. You came home after sunset. Father is sitting and reading a book. So father first looked at the time. Then looked at you, staring. And this stare from the father is enough. Father stared, and mother immediately said, don't hit. "Don't" fell. What is left? Father got up and slapped. Well, as soon as he slapped, one was enough. And mother said, don't hit anymore. "Don't" fell. What is left? So remember that the beating you received, father was just a ظاهر (apparent), there was someone else in the background. So where negative language is written, like don't eat, don't smoke, don't drink. What does the heart desire the most? The heart desires to eat and drink the most there. I think it's 3 minutes to 1:00. I had to speak with you until 1:00. I wanted a short time so that you would know about the processing of the mind, that according to what you think, your mind gives orders to the body, to the eyes. You are not seeing opportunities because you said there are no opportunities in Pakistan. So even if there are opportunities, you won't see them. When you told your mind that there are many opportunities. People don't understand. I will search. Commands, I don't want to be poor. "Don't" fell. What is left? I don't want to be unemployed. "Don't" fell. What is left? I don't want to be an outcast. "Don't" fell. What is left? So if you understand the processing of the mind. Understand the thinking pattern, what your thoughts can do. And one, you only played with the lemon in imagination. Second, you physically saw yourself and these young people. Who did push-ups on one hand, which takes months of hard work for people. Only with one thing, with the mind. If these people can do this physical activity after 1.5 minutes of mental conditioning, then can all the big matters in life become easy for you or not? Right now, only one, earlier there was another gentleman. Now only I am in Pakistan who conducts firewalks for mental conditioning. As long as this hall is long, or bigger than the stage, you yourself ignite burning coals with your own hands, and you are made to walk on the fire. Your feet do not burn. How? Yes, this is the power of the mind. This is the most superior. Learn to control it. Learn to work with it. Life will become easy for you, God willing. We will meet for a longer time in the next session. I hope I have covered my message. Is there anything left? Yes, who spoke? First, raise your hand. Yes, you said that negative positive work, how to do this in a positive way? Instead of not smoking, doing running will benefit you a lot. Instead of smoking, doing this, you should also give an alternative. As for the habits that have become firm due to worries, for that you will have to go to a therapist. You will have to get it conditioned once. Then you will have to repeat it. Because it's a 20-year-old habit. A 20-year-old habit. Once, while leaving, I told my father for the last time, he used to smoke cigarettes. So I had just graduated, and I said, father, please don't smoke cigarettes, it's not good for health. He was very happy and said, Masha'Allah, you have grown up so much. How old are you? I said 20 years. So he told me, my relationship with cigarettes is 40 years old. Sit comfortably. So these things will continue together. My social media pages and groups are with you. My professional team also helps you with your questions and answers there. Permission for the next session. Allah Hafiz. Thank you so much, sir, for such a powerful session, wasn't it? Yes, I request Sir Hassan bin Salman to come to the stage and present a shield to Sir Arif Siddiqui as a token of appreciation. Please come to the stage. Sir Ahmed, I also request you to come to the stage. Sir Arif, I also request you to come to this stage. Let's applaud him with full applause. Thank you so much, sir. It was a session. Jazak Allah Khair. After a धमाकेदार session, there was a little bit of a bang too while presenting the shield. Thank you so much, sir, for your valuable time. I hope our virtual participants also felt as empowered and energetic after your session. Along with this, our next guest speaker, Miss Fariha Zeeshan, is also present here. Miss, thank you for your time. Without delay, I will request you to please come to the stage and conduct our session today on pre and post-marital counseling. Miss Fariha Zeeshan, CEO Million Smiles Foundation Global & KSA, please welcome on stage. Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Before I speak on the topic you have given me to talk about today, I want to say one thing. Are you all here for an internship program? Can anyone tell me what you expect to learn in an internship program? What are you here to learn? Or what are your expectations that I will learn and go? Anyone basic? You have come to learn for so many days, and you don't know what you have come to learn. If you don't know what you want as an outcome, then what will you learn? This session, basically, what is an internship? What have you come to learn? Yes, tell me someone. It's six weeks plus given to us. We hope that we learn 100% skills in an internship. But at least the basics. Yes, yes, when we come for an internship, we don't learn 100% of any skill. Whether we are going to any company, any organization, anywhere, any department, when you leave with your internship, if you want to become a graphic designer, you don't leave as a complete expert. So, you have come here, and you will be taught only the basics of every skill. I have no idea how you are taking it, but in whichever department you are taken, only the basics will be taught there. And why is it important to know the basics? So that you can make decisions about how to proceed with those basics in your future. How to formulate your next steps. If we don't teach the basics of something, we cannot achieve anything in the future. So, an internship is basically about what we should do, what steps we should take. So, in an internship, you are learning the basic skills of your practical life and what you have to do for your job, what you have to learn. I have been called here to tell you that a very major part of your life, which is perhaps even more major than your practical life. A part whose impact will also come on your earnings, on your job, on your business. And what is that? Your married life. Because your married life will affect your parenting, your children, your office work, your company, if you are bringing a new product, that too. So, your practical life, where you are learning to do a job, a more major part of your life is your married life. So today, we are bringing a master class on it, and we will talk about the basics, what should be the basics. Before marriage, when you are looking for your spouse, and after marriage, when you have found your spouse, and that is equally important for girls and boys to know the basics of what they are looking for. As I told you, what is the outcome? What are you predicting? What is success for you? Unless and until you know what success is for you, you will keep wandering, you will get everything, there will be no gratitude, there will be no self-satisfaction that I have achieved this because you don't have a goal. When we are in practical life, what is our goal? Well, I will become a designer, I will become a doctor, I will become an engineer. So, it means I have become successful. But what is success in married life? Does anyone know? Can anyone explain what is success in married life? Understanding? Companionship. Companionship. Patience. That is, if I asked you what is the success of your practical life, you would have, I think, 100 answers. And for the success of married life, you have no answer. This shows how little we understand, how meaningless we consider the major part of our lives. And when that time comes, we are interpreting it along the way. And what happens because of that? If you jump into a job without a degree, without knowing anything, what will be the success rate? Not 100%. The majority rate will be that you fail. I was above. Is this okay? Should I turn this song also? Is the sound clear now, everyone? So, the most important decision of our life is choosing our spouse. Because it is affecting the rest of our life decisions. Okay? And what is the most important thing for choosing a spouse? You should know what you want. What are you looking for in your spouse. And one thing I will tell you is that no matter what relationship it is, if you start it by displeasing Allah, then the end of that relationship cannot make you happy. This is a baseline on which you have developed any of your relationships. Now, if you have diaries, I want you to write down what you want to see in terms of pre-marital, or what you think should be in my spouse. So then I think this will be my best spouse. These things are important to see before marriage. I will give you 2 minutes, boys and girls both. What kind of spouse should it be? Write on a page what things are important to see before marriage that you will see. And then on the second page, write what expectations you will have from your husband or your wife. So that we have a markup where we can see what our expected outcome is, so that we can calculate our success rate. Because until now, we don't know what we want. When we don't know what we want, we will remain dissatisfied even after achieving it. Anything. Should have money, should be the richest boy. Should be the most beautiful girl. Should be educated, all the "most" should be in him. Right? Everything should be excellent in him. Unreal expectations. But write. Be truthful to your own self. Even if you have written many "mosts," but be truthful. So that you know where you stand. It's very important for your own self. Write all the "mosts." Okay. So, in what you have written, there will be many "mosts" in majority. Okay? Every boy, no matter what he is like, he wants the most beautiful. What is the ideal spouse for girls? Very rich, very beautiful, very successful, and very obedient. Okay. In every matter, say, "Yes, absolutely right." Whatever you say, do it like that. And what kind of spouse do boys want? Very beautiful, very successful, a doctor, and also makes round rotis, and in whatever I say, she says, "Yes, sir," and what else? Mostly similar things. But what should be the real expectations? What should be the baseline? See, before expecting from others, you should know what your value system is. Today, when you search for a spouse based on all these points, very beautiful, very successful, very this, very that, it will not match you anywhere. These are just your dreams and your expectations. They are not reality-based. Even if you get married to such a person, then later the fights, quarrels, and matters are on what basis? Your value systems do not match. Today, you have brought an educated girl who is very high in her career, and then you expect her to not go out of the house because our family's value system is like this, so you stay at home. She is career-oriented. Fights will start from day one. She doesn't observe purdah. You bring her home and say, observe purdah. The boy's family has different principles. The girl will say, no, my father used to do this, you also do this. She is a different person, she is not like your father. So your value, your value system should be clear. What is your value system? On which you will not compromise, no matter what happens. For some people, what is the most important thing? For some, money is very important. They say I will compromise on infidelity, but there should be money. Some say I must go out. Even if he is poor, it doesn't matter. What is the most important thing for you? Religion, world, beauty, money, education, family status. Mark it down. In the list you made of what a spouse should have, write "value." What is your value? Then you will search for a spouse based on that. For pre-marital. This is an important point. Then, the person you are choosing, do they give you respect? We go looking for love on the first day, which doesn't exist. No one falls in love on the first day. Even when you are married, love is a very wrong scale to judge whether you have companionship or not. Whether you are a good spouse or not. Because it grows with time. It doesn't happen on the first day. It is infatuation. When you like someone a lot. You feel, yes, I can spend my life. Your decision should be value-based. So, does that person give you respect? Respect your thoughts, your personality, your value system. Does he give respect? If, for example, you are very fond of someone, and going out is not allowed at your place, and he insists that you should go out with him for a walk. Then it means he is not respecting your values. So, first, you have to see if he respects your values. The one who respects you, loves you. The one who doesn't respect you, doesn't love you. So, your basics.

And then also, how financially you are on top of things, what is your basic scale that we understand that no, I can get by with anything. That getting by with anything doesn't happen. So you have to make your list that at least this thing should be there. At least be this educated. At least be this financially stable, the rest we will do together. Value system should be this, can give me respect. How compatible is it with my family? Does this matter or not? So these things should be on your list because they are very important. Tomorrow when relationships go bad, this is the baseline. And when you see such a person and you like them, definitely send the proposal. But the advice of elders is important because sometimes elders see many things that are very important. It's not necessary that they and you agree on any point. You can convince them. But you need to have their opinion also. It's possible they are seeing something that you are not understanding. So, just like when you go to work for a company, you finalize a degree for your university, you choose a major, you always ask experts, you research. Should you do it or not? What is its future? Will you get a job or not? Similarly, when you are going to make such a big decision as marriage, there is no harm in asking those who have lived lives. Of course, they are not from your time, but they have lived through that time. So it's essential that you consult them, that there is such a person, such a person, this is their family environment, this is their thinking. So they will definitely give you some guidance. This was about the points to look at before marriage. Now, why are the major issues after marriage the way they are? There are five major points that are essential for a good relationship. Communication. Which we often see in our parents, in our elders whose marriages we have seen go very bad, because of which our youth is now running away from marriage. They are saying, being in a relationship status is enough. We won't get married because we have seen our elders fighting and quarreling. Sitting in separate corners. Father reading a newspaper in one corner, mother sitting in the kitchen cutting vegetables or talking on the phone with an aunt. No communication between them. Unless when the children were young and discussions were necessary, like paying school fees, etc. Now that the children have grown up and gotten married, there is no connection between mother and father. Because connection is built at the right time. When time passes, connection is not built. And to build a connection, communication is the key. Communication doesn't necessarily mean that you go and tell every single thing and every objection. I don't like the way you get up. I don't like the way you breathe. Why are you like this? Why are you like that? Communication is when you like something, tell them too. Appreciate them. If you don't like something, tell them too that I don't like this. Or we communicated with everyone, but often you are saying that the other person didn't understand. So what would you like to tell them? The way you talk, the way the gentleman before me said that he also said help, don't hit, so it disappears from the middle. It's how you talk to the other person and what the other person is perceiving yourself, what you are saying. Now, many people might not find this important, that what kind of important talk is this that I should sit down and discuss? So, it means that this person's perception is not that I should learn something. Because the most neglected field in our country is parenting. That there is no need to learn parenting. Because it has been going on in families for years, for centuries. There were no parenting classes until today. So there is no need to learn. Then, what is the need to learn about marriage? Everyone does it. But this everyone does it and there is no need to learn and no need to know how I need to communicate, how I need to make my marriage better. That's why there are so many traumas. Childhood traumas are developing your personality. Because of which people start such very strange relationships. Childhood traumas, that's what makes them narcissists. All the traumas you see, they are deep-rooted somewhere in childhood. The childhood experiences you have. So we are not learning because we feel there is no need to learn. Marriage will happen, what's the big deal in that? We have to live with affection. I will listen to him. That doesn't happen. When you feel that you need to, for example, a simple organization, my own foundation. I run 40 schools at Atosi and Khidmat, doing all the work. It's philanthropic work. What is the need to learn this? You can work by giving money to anyone. But you are here to learn, because everything is learned. So the most important matter of life, we are not learning that. How to communicate? I communicate, but my husband or my wife is a narcissist, she doesn't understand. Now what should I do? Come and talk to an expert. Instead of just sitting there saying, no, because my mother also used to fight, it used to go on like that. Mother would say, son, we also used to get beaten, it's okay. So, therefore, it's okay. So these things that I am telling you, being an expert myself, I am a coach, I am a life coach, I am an NLP practitioner from the US in Australia, I am an internationally American certified coach. So what I am telling you is through my own 20 years of experience and my own education. These are the key elements you need to learn. What we learned from experience, you learn that first. Communication, then trust. If you don't have trust, your relationship will never be smooth. If you immediately take your husband's phone as soon as you come home and search where he was, and if he said he is going with friends, and you are calling all his friends to check where they are, then the relationship will not work. Or if you say I am going to a friend's place, and the husband checks the phones of those friends to see if she was with them, or calls their house to ask, aunty, where did your daughter go? Then the relationship will never work. Never. But why is there no trust? Somewhere it is deep-rooted. Perhaps that person's own experience was like that. Perhaps he saw many such relationships where the girl was cheating on him. Or the girl saw where men are cheating on their wives a lot. So he is that mistress. So you have to address it somewhere. Then respect. Sit anywhere and make fun of your wife. Sit anywhere and badmouth your husband. So when the husband hears that my wife is only badmouthing me, and the wife sees that wherever we sit, the husband only sees jokes about his wife, then will she give you respect? No. Will love ever come into his eyes, into his heart for you? Never. Because he doesn't see gratitude in your personality. So to receive respect, it is also necessary to give respect. Then being the support system, you need to be the biggest cheerleader of your spouse. If they achieve even a little success, you should clap the loudest, whether it is your husband or your wife, a small success. They made a new dish for you. Appreciate them. Your husband may not have done a 10 billion deal, but he made a project that got approved, so celebrate it by saying, wow, amazing, you are awesome. If you make your spouse a hero for a little while, what will it cost you? But why don't we do it? Because we are keeping scores, which is another very wrong thing to do, that you did this once, so now I will do this because you didn't respect me, so now the revenge is that I will demotivate you. You only got this much, you only did this. And you only earn 40,000, you earn 80,000. My father used to do this. He is your father. Meaning, he lived a life. After that, he also started from somewhere. Then he reached the top. Then you are his daughter. By the time your husband reaches that point, he will also be a hero. He will also earn that much. So be a cheerleader for your spouse. Appreciate them at every turn. Let them feel that I can lose in the world, but when I come home, I am always a winner. Let the wife feel that perhaps, perhaps her in-laws might say a hundred things to her, but when her husband comes, she will be a hero to him. He will see only and only happiness in her. He will see goodness, not that he says you didn't do this either. You are not doing this today either. You woke up late. You didn't cook. You didn't do this. You didn't do that. So how will love develop? And the most important thing, you have to mark your boundaries. Boundaries don't mean that I won't do this either. Find your own socks. Make your own bread. Boundaries mean that I understand you. Your downfall, your failures, your mood is not good. I understand, boy, I understand you got scolded, you couldn't do something. I understand. But that doesn't mean you can disrespect me anywhere. You can humiliate me to please someone else, family members, people, friends, to tell them that, hey, I am a man, brother. I humiliated my wife like this, that's great. Your relationship is yours. Another important thing is people's involvement. Don't look at your relationship through the eyes of others, through their glasses. Because my brother does this. My friend's husband took her on a trip abroad. He brings her new designer wear every day. My friend's wife makes 50 dishes in a second. She did this. She cooks at home. She is also homeschooling the children, doing everything. Yet she looks very beautiful when she comes home. Meaning, stop looking at other people. Stop looking at the fence at the back of yourself. Don't look at people. It's your life, your spouse was specially chosen for you by Allah. They are a different personality, a different background, they came into this world with different experiences. They cannot be an exact copy of your father. Nor can they be an exact copy of your mother. Nor of your brother, nor sister, nor aunt, nor aunt, not of anyone. Not of your friend's wife, not of your friend's husband. Look at your relationship with your own view. Try to improve it. Give each other space so that they can grow. They can flourish. So these are some things that are very important in your life. And wherever you see that your relationship is deteriorating, you need to go and ask someone. Go to mentors, go to experts who can help you. Who can tell you how to correct what is wrong. Because if you don't ask, you won't learn, and if you don't learn, you cannot improve. Because the relationship that is deteriorating today will slowly affect your children, and it will not just give trauma to the children, like mother and father are fighting and the child is sitting scared in a corner. Rather, they will learn this tomorrow. Your daughter will learn that this is how a relationship should be. If father is beating, then I will also get beaten, so it's okay. Then she will completely release herself and say, I won't listen to a word. Similarly, the son will learn that this is how a woman is respected. This is how a woman is humiliated. So you are not just living your relationship. You are living the relationships of future generations. You are telling them that doing this is right. Because you will be their ideal. So it's not only you are impacting the whole of society by just being you. You need to learn. You need to be compassionate. And gratitude. If a person, like he couldn't give you everything you expected, started a business and failed, or the girl couldn't be everything you thought she would be, then be compassionate. There must have been some problem, she is unwell, things are there, it's okay, she is not like that. As it is stated in the Holy Quran, if you dislike one thing in your spouses, then there will be some other goodness in them, so focus on that other goodness, instead of immediately ending it. And have the spirit of gratitude in every matter. Whether it is your marriage, your wealth, your job, your relationships. Because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Holy Quran, and if you are grateful, I will give you more. So whatever you are grateful for will increase. If you are grateful for a good relationship, it will become even better. A good relationship is never complete. Today your husband appreciated you, be grateful. Today your wife did something thoughtful for you, be grateful, it will increase. Just as you cannot explain the concept of blessing, you also cannot explain the concept of getting by. This is the blessing that is seen in your life. Excuse me, you gave such a long lecture and taught everyone, and all your points were covered. The problem is the boy. No, it's not the boy, everyone feels it's the boy, whereas often the problem is with the female in marriage, but since you are talking, you are only saying that father beats, or your husband is not earning yet, or all the things you are saying, the problem is with the male. But often marriages fail because the female is the problem. So you said, now if the husband is not earning, then be compassionate. So I am telling the girl that if the husband is not earning, I am trying to balance this out. If you look at it this way, when I give the example of a man, I am telling the woman, and when I give the example of a woman, I am telling the man. Women have many issues. For example, if the man has less income, then the woman's expectations are high, like my sister went abroad, I didn't get to go. I want designer wear, so that's a woman's problem. It's not a man's problem. Now, how will he give it? Now his resources are so limited. So how will he give it? Like nowadays, another very big problem is that girls in our country say marriages are happening very late. Why are they happening? Because the expectations for grooms are very high. They want a very successful person and at a young age. Where will a successful man come at a young age? Today, a boy at 20, 22, 23 years old will be in the struggling phase. And when he is in the struggling phase, he cannot give you a big house, nor a big car. Unless and until he has created a unicorn and become a billionaire, trillionaire. Otherwise, or if he is the son of a billionaire. Otherwise, normally, a 22-23 year old boy will be in the struggling phase. When you marry a 22-23 year old boy, or even a 25 year old boy, he is still in the struggling phase. He cannot afford to get you designer wear, nor can he buy you new designer bags, nor can he take you abroad for trips. He doesn't have the capacity. So now, if you look at this, if his love, in our country, love and relationship are measured by expenses, how much was spent, what gift was given. Your husband is good. He takes you on trips. Your husband is good. How many gifts does he give you? What did he give on your anniversary? So in our country, relationships are counted by gifts and money. You just said that obviously, if someone is 22 years old, they won't be earning much directly. Even if they are earning, it will be very limited. We can explain this to them at our age. But how do we explain this to our parents? See, then you, if, for example, I give my own example, when I got married. You might know most of you, my husband Jashan Afzal, he is a very well-known person. He is very successful now. But when we got married, he wasn't. Meaning, we married young. In those days, he was an Assistant Manager at K.P. So how much salary do you earn? No one earns in millions, trillions. Then you have to meet expenses there, meet everything. My value system was not money. I belong to a very well-off family. But what was my value system? Someone, it's not necessary for everyone. What was important for me? Someone who lets me follow religion, who doesn't stop me from veiling, who has the sense of halal and haram. Because I have this faith, which I think is very important, that sustenance is from Allah. I eat my destined sustenance in my mother's house, and I will eat my destined sustenance after getting married. Marrying a poor man, or a rich man, or a very rich man makes no difference. Now, a very rich man can also go bankrupt, a factory can burn down. These are matters from Allah. So I have this faith that he should be reasonable. Not so poor that you starve for food, but you cannot find an equal status. A person who is 24-25 years old, where will he have equal status? My father is running a factory. Where will he get it from? He cannot. So because I have this faith. So my parents said, think about it, you won't understand later. My brothers explained, think about it later, you like these things, this private, but if you can't afford what you like, then But because I had this faith, I said, okay, I will compromise because what is more important to me is this, and then Allah gave. But this point, if your belief system is there, and your parents feel that you can get by with this, and you said it wasn't that he was completely poor, that there was absolutely no food, then my parents wouldn't agree either. No ma'am, I mean, generally speaking, I have seen where, you know.

The boy does not earn very much, but when he earns that much, it becomes too much, so the parents do not agree, and whatever he is, you marry him off to some older boy elsewhere, then this again, as I said, communication is the key. You will explain to the next person, not just when you go to take your job. They ask you, "Why should I hire you?" Just like people come to us. We ask, "Why should I hire you?" You tell your positives, that you can do this, you do this. Similarly, now a relationship has come, so you see it as negative by default: "My daughter is going. She might land in trouble tomorrow. There might be some other issue tomorrow. She might get divorced and come back tomorrow." So you become critical. Like, "What is this? Who knows if he is hardworking? Today he does this little; tomorrow he might leave this too." So find out whether he is hardworking. From his colleagues, from his relatives, from the people in the neighborhood where he lives, so that it becomes clear that it is not that he worked here for four months and there for two months. He is not inconsistent. A hardworking child is working here today; tomorrow he will do some other work. So until you find out—just as in religion too, you should find out about the girl. Here we just do Istikhara and finalize relationships. Istikhara means you consulted Allah. But Allah has also given you intellect. He has given you counsel. You should find out. If he is a hardworking child, then at the place where he works, where he lives, among his people—if he does this much today, tomorrow Allah will also grant him the sustenance destined for you. But if he is not hardworking at all, and today he is here for two months, then he did freelancing, then he went elsewhere, then it is obvious: you will not—tomorrow there will be children, his accounts, his affairs—he is not serious about it, so it is not going to be serious about your child either. So then what will you do when expenses are going to increase? He needs to be responsible enough to understand that this is my responsibility now, it is not my wife's responsibility. Meaning, he will not have the thought that, "Okay, when the wife comes, she will earn necessarily." She is coming, she is a helping hand, but not like, "It is not my responsibility, it is her responsibility to do it," because then the woman, she becomes very pressurized. She gets very burnt out. When she thinks that it is my responsibility to earn the money, because it is not—she can be the helping hand, but she cannot be totally responsible for the upbringing, her cares, or for earning the money for it. So you need to communicate. You need to first know what are the good qualities in that person. If he is the right person—as I said, love happens, which is basically infatuation, so you minus out all his mistakes, all the red flags. "No, no, this is there, but he also does this"—because you have become blind, you do not see the girl's faults or the boy's faults. So then the parents see them. As I said, experts see them. So you listen to their advice and then find the answer to that. Is this person wrong like that? Then go and find out whether he is actually right or wrong. Then come with proofs: "No, no, no, look, it is not like this, it is not like that. Let him talk to your parents: 'No, look, I can do this.'" His parents came, his people came to convince: "No, really, this person is serious and he is responsible enough." So communication is the key. Whether it is your company, whether you are in the office, whether it is your home, whether it is children—even in parenting, what happens here is that just saying "No, don't do it" — that is not how it happens nowadays. The child says, "Give me logical reasoning. Why should I not do it?" So communication is—if you want to have a good relationship with anyone, even your spouse and the people around you in your company and your own kids, you need to have communication. And you need to know actually how to communicate. You cannot just go and—here are your points, just one more thing. Now, the main thing is, when you are communicating, you start finger-pointing. "It is your fault. You scold me. You do not listen to me. You do this. Your mother did this. You listen to your mother." It is always—when you start finger-pointing at someone, they go into defensive mode. Then they are not listening to you at all. They shut down from here. Then they get busy proving themselves right and proving you wrong. So whenever you are communicating, you are not supposed to finger-point at the other person: "You are doing this. You are doing that. You said this once. You do this." You need to say and communicate: it is a two-way process: "We should do this to improve our relationship. I think we should work on this." When you talk like, "We have to do this," "We need to work this out," "We need to work on this problem," then the result would be different. Whereas if you say, "You do this and you do that," then it will always go bad. As I told you, look, it is a very, very—very big, very comprehensive topic to discuss. When we run our EagleNess—it is a youth boot camp, leadership and wellness boot camp—we sit and discuss calmly, and then we also do sessions. So for now, it is all about the basics. I am just giving you the tip of the iceberg. There are so many detailed discussions: how to do it, how to set boundaries, how to communicate, what to say, what not to say, how to be grateful, how not to be—meaning, not to create a problem for his own wife. Because look, when a woman goes to a man's house, the family's acceptance is very different. Even if it is an arranged marriage, they have their own rules and regulations. In that, the poor thing, even after trying, is misfitting. So what should the husband's role be in that? Meaning, no matter how good she is, if they do not accept her, or if the girl says, "No, I will live my own way, I am not going to be there—" because they said you have to select boundaries, then what will happen? The relationship will not work because he will hear things every day: "Your wife did not do this, your wife did not do that." So we need to find a middle ground. How to set the boundaries? This needs a whole discussion. And it varies case to case. Your case will be different, their case will be different, their case will be different. Somewhere the girl will be very stubborn, somewhere the boy will be very stubborn. Somewhere, the special issue we have here about setting boundaries is taken very wrongly. Setting boundaries does not mean, "I am going to be—self-time, to say no to everything, either it is my way or no way." No, that is not how it is done. So whether it is husband-wife, or in-laws, you need to understand how to set boundaries. So this needs a very detailed discussion. For now, we have such a small session, and this is such a comprehensive discussion. It is the base of your life. If you are fed up and distressed in marriage, you will live through your children. The husband will go to the office distressed, he will not be able to focus on his work. So this is something that is affecting every sector of your life. You will fight with your husband. You will also behave rudely with your mother-in-law. You will vent your anger on your children. Your heart will not want to eat anything. Your heart will not want to go shopping. The husband, being disturbed, will take out his anger on everyone. So where is that middle ground? You need to work on that. So for that, we need full sessions. Just as the Hazrat before me said, therapy is needed, sessions are needed. You cannot change a person's habit of many years in one day. If your husband or your wife is a narcissist, how will you change them in one day? Not just by giving them lectures. If they have anger issues, how will you correct them? The wife's or the husband's? In one day? No. So anyone can give you small points. Then you need to come as a regular person who discusses their case: "Now this is my issue," or "This is my issue," then we can address that. Generalized opinions fit some but not others. So this is something that you—I think the main thing is that you need to learn this. You need to leave this session learning that marriage is a very important thing that you must learn about. It is important to take seriously whom you marry. The value system and how to maintain the relationship after marriage also require learning. Parenting also needs to be learned. We cannot run it the way it has always been run. We can certainly consult our parents, ask them. But we cannot copy exactly. Otherwise, we will also produce traumatized children just like we are nowadays. 99% of us are traumatized in some way or another. We need to work. We need to bring a change. We cannot say, "It has always been like this." Pakistan has always been like this, so it will keep going badly. Parenting has always been like this, so it will go badly. Be the change-maker. Be the one who stands up and says, "I will not do this in my home. I will become the barrier for the generational trauma of my family lineage. I am going to be the one who breaks it." So you need to learn. First you are going to learn, and then you are going to implement. Okay? I hope I have made it clear that all of you need to learn. Learn from me, learn from someone else, but learn. This is the most important decision of your life. Just as you learn things in an internship, then you go to a company and learn. You become an expert only by learning. Not just by reading books. You need to talk to experts, because they can tell you the experience of their whole life in two sentences. Books cannot tell you. Okay. Thank you so much. Yes. Now I look at the center, baby.

Yes, ma'am, my question was this: expectations can be such that if there is an issue in the boy today—as you said, ma'am, if a man is like that, proper, successful, okay, even that he is earning one and a half to two lakhs, then ma'am, does that also mean that he will shop like that? I mean, a person is going to the mall, his salary is high, so he will shop at the mall, he will think of good things and go for good things, so that—if a person's salary is 50 or 60, then he will not go to any market? Absolutely. So then you should think before marrying. If money is of high value to you, then you will not marry that person who earns ₹50,000. It is not that earning ₹50,000 is wrong. But if you feel you cannot survive, then do not do it. Instead, after doing it, telling him every day, "You earn less"—you would know on the first day that he earns 50k. That is exactly what I am saying: you need to make your own list: what things are so important to me that I cannot do without them, or I can. Later, harassing your spouse about that is not appropriate. Later you say, "Now you change." How will he change now? Just as he clearly said, if a person of 40 years has a habit, how will he change? So if a person has a lifestyle, he cannot change the moment you come, nor can she. That you tell him, "Just from today, start doing it suddenly." That is ingrained in their upbringing, how will it become different? So before marriage, look at these things: "What will my lifestyle be like now? What will my spending be like? What is the atmosphere of their home? Can I adapt? Or can I? Can I provide all these things to the one I am bringing from that home?" If you cannot, then think about these things and marry. Instead of after doing it, telling the other person, "Now you change. Now you learn to survive." If the person is there, then look, reality-based expectations: you don't say, "The Palestine issue will be resolved in one day." It is possible that prayer has great power, but it cannot happen. Some things are reality-based. If that child's capacity is only to earn 50k, you can have expectations. But our expectations are those that break our hearts when they are not fulfilled. So you have expectations: that the one earning 50k will earn 2 lakhs the next day, or that the one earning 50k will take me to the mall and give me a branded item—he cannot do that. Or you think, "I will marry the girl from my college, and I will suddenly become a millionaire one day." So can she wait that long for expectations to be fulfilled, or not? Look, everyone has a bucket list. But for that bucket list to be fulfilled, can I wait, or do I need it immediately? Or you can wait, or you need it immediately. When later she tells you, "Why aren't you earning?" then you will say, "Brother, I cannot bring it suddenly in one day." So then do not do it at all. That is what I am telling you. Keep reality-based expectations. Look at your lifestyle, look at those desires you cannot compromise on. Then select a spouse. Instead of thinking, "In the future, this will become like that," "In the future, it will change," because you are marrying the current version of that person, not the future version. Who knows, they might not change? There can only be hope. It is not necessary that they will change.

Yes, there was a hand in the middle? Yes, ma'am, side? Yes, yes, yes. If you communicate and you can tell your spouse—with you, regarding yourself—you communicate once, but next time, look, I am telling you that if your spouse is a narcissist, then for that you need a full counseling session. Narcissist is a special category; they will gaslight you, you will end up being the culprit in every fight, every argument, even if you are not, you will be convinced that it was your fault, in every argument. So that is a separate category. I cannot generally define that. The things I am telling you are generalized. As I said, it is different. You cannot go to a general physician and discuss neurology. He will tell you basic things, but he cannot tell something that a person with a brain tumor can also implement. So narcissist is a big concept. Those people are a different world. You cannot make them understand just by talking. They never accept, "My fault." Never will. No matter how nicely, calmly, without anger, in any way you communicate, they are not going to listen. There is a different technique to live with such people. You can leave such a person. You have to leave such a person. But look, what if their category is such that we can bring improvement? It is so extreme that there is no chance except to end the relationship. So I told you, it is different from one person to another. You cannot give a generalized opinion.

Ma'am, Wa Alaikum Assalam. Our biggest resource is—if our daughter comes in such a situation, how can we handle this? Absolutely. Look, we parents have a very good manipulation technique: if the child does not obey, our blood pressure shoots up. "Oh my God, my BP shot up!" The poor child becomes emotionally pressured: "Okay, if something happens to my parents, what answer will I give?" So look, many of us will be those who are the first in their family to reach university. When they first thought of taking admission to university, the elder said, "Why waste lakhs of rupees, brother? Are you crazy?" Because they had no experience. We make life decisions based on perceptions. Our perceptions are formed from our experiences. They have never seen an educated person. They say, "You are wasting money for nothing. Does anyone become rich from this? Leave it." So you must have struggled, explained, given examples. Introduced them to someone—a cousin, a boy from a distant neighborhood who studied well: "Look, he is earning, so I can do it too." Similarly, these patterns that are formed, the generational patterns. As I said, you become the one who breaks them: "No, if it has always been like this—relationships have always run like this—it is not necessary that they will run like this forever." Someone has to stand up and break it. The first person who stands up goes through a lot of struggle. Because people will get angry at him. People will say, "He has gone bad. He has become like this." People will stop talking. People will say, "He sat down to teach elders. Does he think parents have no sense?" That poor person is very insulted. But the first one—whoever is a leader—always struggles more. And a leader is not only the one who goes into politics or becomes a CEO of a company. We all are leaders in our own lives. Because we take decisions in our own lives for the first time that no one else has taken, and they are because of our own belief: "No, I can do it," or "I can do it." The ones I am talking about who break our generational patterns and traumas—they are leaders. They bear the pressure when everyone stands against them, and the poor one stands alone—boy or girl—saying, "No, it is like this." The girls who start observing purdah for the first time in very modern families—they are insulted. They hear things every day. But they remain steadfast. After some time, the other girls in the family start doing it. And it is exactly like that. But look, exceptions are in the Quran itself. For Pharaoh, Hazrat Asia—what was the comparison between Pharaoh and Asia? Hazrat Asia—before you, Pharaoh was the worst human being, the worst leader. So exceptional cases are always there. Just as I am telling you now, look, in the Holy Quran, Allah says: "Travel and see My creation that I have made, and remember Me." We went to Sardum; you may have heard of or seen the Saffron Desert, the white desert. In winter, snow freezes there. But it is a desert. You have another desert—a natural phenomenon—a desert cannot exist with water. Right next to it, there is a small lake. But it is still a desert. It has snow. It becomes hard in winter, and there is snow on it, and those ice formations. And when it is summer, the water melts, so the water must go somewhere. It goes into the sand, so something should grow. It does not grow; it remains sand. Water flows next to it, and it is still sand. With the water, there will be a small island, a tiny island. On it, there is greenery. But there, there is not. Yet science tells you this is not possible. Where there is water, there should be fertile land. And all our civilizations were built like that: they went near water and built their homes. There would be fertile land. We would cultivate, cook, eat, we can live there. Animals can be there. But there it is not. Allah's power—Allah has given these exceptions to tell you that it can be the other way around. This can happen. There is a thing: I gave you a general rule that it happens like this. But I can also do besides this. It is Allah's power that if a righteous man did not get a righteous wife, or a righteous wife did not get a righteous husband, then how will you live? The Quran gave an example: How Hazrat Asia was killed by Pharaoh, nailed and tortured so much. The example of Hazrat Lut’s wife is before you. Hazrat Nooh’s son is before you. We think, "I am not raising my child well, that is why my child turned out like this." We cannot raise better than the Prophets. But if Allah has decided something, then you cannot change it. But this does not mean you stop raising them. It does not mean you stop looking for the next spouse. Only the effort is in your hands. Whether it happens or not is in the Lord's hands. So the general rule that Allah said in Surah Najm: "Man gets only what he strives for." So you have to strive. But if Allah has written an exception for you, then you must go through that trial. Then that test is written for you by Allah, so you cannot do anything else. But the general concept Allah has given is: "If you are grateful, I will give you more." "Man gets what he strives for." "I am with My servant as he thinks of Me." "Good women for good men, and bad women for bad men." These are generalized rules. For living life, for making decisions. But exceptions are always there. In every way, in every part of your life.

Anyone? Yes, here. Marriage should be thought about. About four people, it is often said: "In the name of marriage, just a little property gets lost." That is exactly what I told you: what has been happening will keep happening. Where is it written? Someone has to stand up. If these men come and take marriage counseling, they will become better. If they only think, "My father used to give four slaps. I just get angry and pull hair, what's the big deal?" Then they will never improve. Because I told you, your relationship is also affecting your children. It is not just your relationship. It is the relationship of the generations to come. If they have seen their father hitting their mother, then for them, this is it. This is what a relationship is. This is what marriage is. This is how it happens. So they do not even see it as wrong. When they do not see it as wrong, how will they improve? To find a solution to any problem, first identifying the problem is necessary. If they do not feel it is a problem, how will they fix it? No matter how many lectures you give. That is why I am saying premarital counseling is also necessary. And then post-marital counseling is also necessary. If you feel the internship is not going well, "I need to learn." If I have issues before marriage, I have seen so much bad in my home, and I run away from marriage, then I need to talk to someone. Because it is natural—when you see bad things, who wants to jump into that? Never. Why should I seek peace in life instead of getting married and fighting every day? As I told you, our experiences form our perceptions. Then we make our decisions. So our experiences themselves are bad. In Asian households, whose marriages are going very smoothly? Can anyone say 100% are going smoothly? What percentage go smoothly? Very smooth. You look at someone in your family and said, "I want a marriage like that. I will have such a marriage." But no one is achieving that. There are no such examples, so children either run away or they copy. So you need to learn, to change the perspective, to be the change-maker. Okay? Thank you so much, everyone. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Miss Fariha Zeeshan. I will request you, please come to the stage.
