So, you suck at Hearts of Iron for as Italy. That's okay. I'm here to teach you. The tutorial's terrible.
Anyway, now we'll be playing historicalish Italy. So, no Roman Empire nonsense, no communism shenanigans, just good old terrible Bonito Mussolini and a dream. God help us all.
From Venice, we'll be starting out with focuses. Italian highways is where we kick off and all of the rest I will leave down in the description below a nice little list and the order in which I do them so you don't have to constantly refer to the video.
Next up, construction. We'll be starting with civilian factories in Toscana and Latio. We want to jumpstart our industry a little bit. Plus, it's nice to build in the high infrastructure provinces. After those are built, we're going to build one infrastructure in Ailia Romana because it has a lot of build slots and the more infrastructure a place has, the faster it builds and we'll get like seven buildings out of it. Long story short, it's pretty helpful. Then we're going to fill that place up with civilian factories and we'll build more infrastructure in Campa. A couple of build slots, but it also increases the available resources production.
We're going to be taking a different tack here. We'll get rid of the basic light tanks. Italy never was really good with the armored warfare and today will be no different. We'll put one on trucks. We'll put about four on support equipment. We'll scroll all the way down and we'll look at these fighters. Interwar close air support. We're going to delete. We're making basic closeair support. It has some production efficiency. Might as well let it run. And then we're going to add a couple of things. We're going to put two factories on toad artillery. We're going to put one more factory here on trains to emphasize the fact that they run on time. and everything else we are going to cram into infantry equipment.
Now, navy, we are building a couple of ships. We're going to bring everything down to a single dockyard. We're going to force it down. Uh, simply hold shift and click the red arrow on these big ships all the way to the bottom of the pile. And then we're going to assign maximum dockyards to everything we are currently producing.
As for trade, we're not going to trade. If the deficit increases, yes, we'll start trading with Turkey for chromium. And we're only lacking three rubber now, which we will sort out the moment we win in Ethiopia.
Speaking of Ethiopia, we have a problem. We have 18 divisions in north. Assign them to a general. Put them on a front line. Draw a nice little attack order. And we have seven divisions to the south. Same deal. General attack order. Now, this is in theory enough to win this war. You might think, ah, I shouldn't escalate this because otherwise we could have trouble with the second Italian Ethiopian war. And maybe maybe there will be trouble with the League of Nations embargoing. None of this matters. Simply ignore everything about the second Italo Ethiopian war. This is irrelevant. We are simply going to defeat Ethiopia before they can do the focus boarding the train. This looks like it takes 70 days. It doesn't. They have a set order in which they do their focuses. I believe 105 days to do this. So, don't worry. We'll war long before then.
Anyway, we are going to take the four remaining mountaineers, put them in the northern army, and we're going to take these two units that are currently in Libya, put them in the northern army as well. The rest of the military, the entire remaining Italian army goes to the south. And we can simply set all of these to aggressively execute their battle plans and simply go.
Next, air force. So, we're going to take all of the fighters, all five fighter wings, and we're going to move them to the 2,000 capacity airfield in the Alpine region. And then any remaining tactical bombers or cast we can find, we're going to put up here in Eritraa. Simply going to bomb the hell out of Ethiopia.
Next up, navy. We are going to take the entire navy, put all of the submarines into a single group, and we're going to put the entire surface navy into a single group. We'll separate them out. No submarines in the surface fleet. Long story short, submarines really slow. Surface fleet only moves as fast as the slowest ship in it. Submarines will slow down the navy. Navy slow. Navy can't catch anyone. Navy do bad.
Couple of things to do here is occupy territories. Set the main occupation law to local police force. And specifically for independent state of Croatia, we'll move it to civilian oversight as well as Kingdom of Greece. We're going to move garrisons up to a high priority and we're going to train up regimento de cavalaria. You can see every single one of our divisions will be named after channel members. We are going to train make it 48 divisions. I don't care if they have guns. I don't even care if they have pants. I just need them out there. And that's it. We are off to the races.
Now for the war in Ethiopia, it's really not as big of a deal as you might think. Simply battle planning will give you victory. Oh, I just realized I forgot to tell you about the research. So, we're going to start off with electronic mechanical engineering, basic machine tools, and construction, the obvious ones. And I like to go for deck conversions into the 1936 carry. Yes, I know people who are more familiar with the game will tell you, don't do this. Simply spam light attack cruisers. And they would be right. However, one, I don't want to spam light attack cruisers. I think it's an absolutely disgusting meta. And two, carriers are just really cool and the backbone of any modern navy. We will have carriers and Italy will be a glorious naval power.
All right, in the Christmas offensive, simply pick top option. Yes, war escalates. Ooh, I'm so scared. It doesn't matter one bit. Extra attack bonus, more air support. Just pick that. And down south here, we've encircled two of their divisions. We should be able to keep this moving forward. Over here, we've broke through Gondar and I'm walking units along this border so we can extend the front ever further.
All right, we have our army experience. We're going to take bold attack here. And now we can allow these generals to level up to their full potential. There we go. Time to deal with the Sultan of Osa. Simply send the ultimatum demanding total subjugation. There we go. Muhammad Yayo falls. Bada bing, bada boom. We have now annexed this place entirely. Extend the front line and we got two free units here. Depending on the situation on the front line, what you usually want to do is take one of them and pin this tile and take the other one and walk into Direawa Har and then further down. And again, keep spamming out these horses. These horses need to be deployed.
So, it's been about month and a half and Ethiopia is basically dead. 6,000 Italian losses, 32,000 Ethiopian losses. This is over. Now, simply assault Adaba. As soon as the capital falls, Ethiopia follows. You can see I have successful missions too. That means I've conquered southern Ethiopia and the first mission was to conquer northern Ethiopia. You will automatically do these. Don't worry about this too much. This will unlock part of the focus tree here. Solid progress. And there goes Ethiopia. There we go.
Now, for the peace deal, the easiest thing would be simply to annex all of it. But we're not going to do that. It's mathematically not a good deal. The best deal is and always will be to simply start carving these places up into as many separate little fifths as we can. And we're going to add some war apparations on the ones that we can add it on to. And that is now what Ethiopia looks like. All of these individual states here are going to run through their focus trees and give us more industry. In doing so, we're going to return territory to the Azuran Empire. We're also going to return land to the Osa governor and we are going to release Eritraa as a puppet. There we go.
So, we have two full armies here already and one with 13 in it. So, we need another 11 cavalry and after that we'll train another 24 infantry divisions at a normal equipment priority. We'll do those later. We've hit our first 150 political power. going to with the captain of industry so we can build more of that infrastructure and more of those civilian factories early steel industry in is done. Let's get to the cervich military right mechanical engineering done. Let's get the next level mechanical computing. We also have a little bit of air experience from our escapades in Ethiopia. So you might notice we're making basic close air support. Now basic close air support this is a terrible terrible terrible design. I would never want to use this. What are we going to do? Top row, guns. We're going to turn this into a fighter. Bottom row, we haven't really researched any of the good stuff yet, so none of this is relevant really.
Now, for the final choice here, MIO, I'm going to go with Fiat. Long story short with Fiat is it doesn't give you the raw stats that Maki does in terms of attack, but it does allow you to get range. So much range, in fact, that you can apply more armor, making these airplanes capable of outrading anything the AI throws at you. the units in the field, excluding our mountaineers, were all going to convert into divisiona deonteria. Hit shift and click train, and we'll train them up to level three regulars. We don't have nearly enough equipment, but that's fine. And we'll do the same with our airplanes. We're selecting all of the fighter wings here, merge them, and we'll hit shiftclick pilot exercises and shift this button up to the sun. And same deal with the navy. Hit shiftclick on naval exercises with the submarines and the surface fleet. Basically, I want to trade with friendly nation for a little bit of oil so you can train your fleets and airplanes for a little bit longer.
We have 50 political power. We're going to go into chief of the army. And we're going to hire Ugo Cavayto, army organization specialist. This way we can get army experience taking up relatively early on. He's not the best, but it's the best we've got. Let's grab dispersed industry one.
Now, with more of these dockyards going onto these last four capital ships, we are going to need a ridiculous amount of chromium, which is what we're going to trade with Yugoslavia for. All right, we hit another 35 army experience. Let's grab tip of the spear and giving us a larger cap of special forces, which we will be using. We're going to talk to Jose San Huro, who looks a little bit like Mr. potato head and send volunteers. We can send five divisions. Now, this is limited by the number of divisions we have in total in our army, which is why we spammed out so much cavalry to then, you know, convert into infantry. We can send one airwing, which is better than no airwing.
All right, our guys have arrived. We will assign Caroli here. He's at 99% level up as well. We have finished construction one. Let's head to improve machine tools. Got the deck conversions. Let's head to 1936 carrier. Let's go and grab Guido Yung, the financial expert, who will be with us until we do the pact of steel. Also, every now and then, you want to stop combat because the longer a battle has been going on, the less experience it yields.
Got another batch of political power. Time to grab us some war economy. Best economy. And the economy is starting to pick up. 31 cives. Not great, not terrible. and we'll keep working our way through this. That's bulk and ambitions done. That unlocks the decision to send an ultimatum to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. As soon as we have that required 75 political power, we're going to click that button. They almost always say yes on historical. If they say no, you have the worst luck I've ever seen. And we're going to take a little side step here to the corpo voluntary. This gives us a little bit of extra air experience gain and more volunteers. The Federal State of Austria seeks our support. We will not risk anything for them. There's no point in trying to defend Austria unless you're specifically going to go up against Germany in the future. We're playing historically, so there's no point.
So, while we're waiting for those aircraft carriers to be able to be produced, we'll start putting up a couple of these. Just basic 1936 destroyers. Cheap gun, cheap torpedo, cheap engine. Also, 75 political power, which means let's get ourselves a free Kingdom of Yugoslav. We'll send the ultimatum. There you go. Italian Yugoslavia submits. They are a rice protectorate, meaning they give us about 25% of their civilian industry. Now, we're going to want to push their autonomy down further. Eventually, we're going to build in their territory so we can get access to more of their military factories as well. This is going to be roughly the size we'll end up at. For the time being, 18 is fine, and we'll slowly work our way up. Every time we increase the size of a division is going to lose experience because of fresh soldiers pouring in. So every time we do that, we'll just have to just get them back into combat, leveling them up towards level five.
All right, the industrialization program. Molini wants more factories. We'll build two here easily. And railway innovations is going to give us another one. And then we'll get the last ones we need from investments in Edison. We're now going to get dispersed two as well as construction two. We're going to build one dockyard in every one of our 100% provinces. So, a total of five. After which, we're also going to add an aerodynamics and avionics facility over here in Turin. And after that, we are going to spam out military factories wherever we have high infrastructure. And then we're going to spam a bunch of military factories, basically building in our puppet to force their autonomy to go down. and we can have more of their stuff available to us as well. And we figure out carriers now. Production build ships. We're going to design the 1936 carrier and we're going to slam that thing full of hanger space. Best engine we can fit. You can add cruiser armor level three to them against the AI. Absolutely. You could definitely just not have armor on these things, but I'm feeling fancy. Might as well. Now, it does significantly increase the cost of these, so take that into account. And we're going to build up four of these. Make up a very nice carrier group. Their plane complement, we're going to bring it down to two carrier fighters and six bombers. We're also going to add some new aircraft. We are going to build some basic carrier airframes. There we go. One more cheap fighter.
We have a bunch of political power now as well. We're going to hire our war industrialist. He helps us build our dockyards, mills, and fuel silos. For special forces doctrine, we're going to elevate the mountaineers, and work our way down. We're going to be picking rough terrain specialists, as well as holding the line. As for air experience, we'll spend it on things like centralized control, air crew surveys, and then getting the full battlefield support tree. Let's pick up another research slot.
Now, as we're getting these aircraft carriers into production, you'll notice we're going to be burning through a whole lot of chromium. Now, what we could do here is slowly ease off on these larger vessels. So, as long as they'll complete in like 38. They'll build a little bit more slowly, but more than quickly enough to get them when they're useful. All right. Provisional government of the Kingdom of Greece. They have our blessing. That basically means Greece went up to 80% compliance. There we go. Collaboration government. They give us a lot of their factories, both civilian and military, which we can later pass off basically all of Greece to once we do eventually invade.
All right, let's head over to naval power projection. Mostly looking for some extra dockyards there as well. Going to add some rangers to my mountaineers and upscale them yet again. Naval power production. Let's expand the naval facilities. And Japan has also done the thing where they go to war with China. That is an opportunity for us. We're going to send Japan five volunteers along with an airwing. And as soon as Manuka joins the war, we'll send them five volunteers. Let's go grab those field hospitals. Very valuable if you're going to go for an elite unit approach.
Now, for reasons that are entirely beyond me, the five divisions I sent to Japan have arrived in Kanto. Long story short, they can't move across water if they're expeditionary forces. So, it kind of now. Let's go grab that computing machine. And then the five divisions that I sent to Manuko did arrive. So, at least I'll be able to use those. Vicarelli here is leveling up nicely. We're going to take an officer core role. We're going to make him an infantry specialist. He's going to be leveling up a lot. Now, we're going to go here, military high command, and find him. There we go.
Now, we've built our avionics facility. We will hire Robert Longi. He's got some nice bonuses to him. and we're going to build up to radar. More army experience can now be spent on the special forces tree. Rough terrain specialists. Now, as we're filling up the infantry equipment, I'm going to eventually bump up support equipment to five factories, toad antiier to two factories and toad artillery to three factories. They can have field hospitals as well as support antiier. It makes these quite robust. Improved infantry equipment one. So, we'll move that on to support weapons 2 or we go into our division defantria and basically scale this up to the correct size of a well correct correct for me of 18 width. Save that. We're going to be a lot of equipment short, but we will now have all the men we need in the field. And as these divisions get bigger, they're going to drop down in terms of their experience. So, then train them once more.
So, we've just finished our air innovations. That's very nice. That gives us a nice little bonus. and we're going to go into our research and we're going to take the rubber processing. It's 51 days and actually put it on improved small airframes. Yes, this is way ahead of time, but at least this way we'll be able to produce a reasonable aircraft. Well, there goes the Spanish Civil War. Our volunteers are going to come home. We still have this mess going on here. Might as well keep that flowing. This will give us a nice research bonus for air, which we'll put to good use. There we go. Chita Delaria. And we'll now pick this thing, engines three with Fiat. So, this should line up nicely with the improved small airframe to be able to produce better fighters in 39.
Now, on to the pact of steel for a nice boost to the construction speed of mills and 10% factory output for a year. Now, we're starting to finish up some of these big ships. We're going to pivot some more into destroyers and eventually convoys as well. All right, packed of steel done. He is now gone. We'll simply replace him with the editor. We're not going to join the Axis just yet, though. Weird things happen with Yugoslavia. As long as they have anti-German military, things break. So, we're simply not going to join them yet.
All right, we finished Brussia small arms and we'll now use that to get our infantry equipment level up. While we're building all of these things, we're going to sprinkle in some synthetic refineries every now and then. Since we're waiting, might as well spend some more political power. We'll get Rodulfa Grazani, the Grand Battle Plan expert, and military high command will hire the tactical bombing expert as well. The first of our glorious carriers is done. The Rio Marina, the AIA. And as soon as these last couple of carriers are done, we have the fuel and we have the Navy experience. So, first thing we're going to do here is look at these older ships. Let's take the ltorios. They've basically just been finished and they're already outdated. One of the things I hate about Hoy 4. So, how we are going to change these is to touch nothing except for the fire control. Upgrade all of the slots that have anti-air in them. We'll replace the aircraft facilities with some more improved anti-air. 63 days each. And we're basically going to do the same with the Contavor class. and we'll start making those better guns and more on the industry. Glory to Italy. We must now occupy Albania. Fortunately, that is soon in the cards. And we can also lower the autonomy of Italian Yugoslavia. So, they are now a rice commiserat, giving us access to 25% of their civilian industry and 65% of their military industry, which is better. There we go. Those factories just came in and it is a lot of free factories for us. Unfortunately, our rubber concession with the Ethiopians has run out. Uh so we are now having to go and trade with people. A glorious navy. Four carriers, six battleships, eight heavy cruisers, 14 lights, and 94 destroyers.
All right, we have the improved airframes. Let's go. All right, we'll slap in the biggest, bestest engines. The top row can be full of heavy machine guns, and then we're going to add armor plates, some self-sealing fuel tanks, basic cast. We're also going to replace with some improved casts. Again, top row full of bomb locks.
All right, we've got our justification for Corsica. It should stick around long enough to join that war if we so choose. Now, we have about a month before war sparks. So, we've got two armies on the border with France's basic infantry along with our five mountaineers ready to punch on through. We'll take this army of 24 that's still in reserve. We'll put half of them on the Tunisian border and another half of them on the Egyptian border. The remaining 14 will use the general who's currently still locked in China and he will serve as reserves and we'll keep them near Roma. I'm also going to take two of my mountaineers and just real quick going to set up a naval invasion on Malta. It really helps to take out places like this early if we can afford to do so.
Well, Germany has done the thing. We're going to ask them to join that faction and we're going to declare war on the French. We're not going to call our allies in though. As we've declared war on the French, we are now going to attack the French here. We'll take our air, put them up as well on air superiority day and night down here. Air superiority, close air support, maybe some naval strike up over the central Mediterranean. And we are going to order these guys to get going. And we've taken Malta early, which is what Mussolini should have done. Now, we'll take the navy, put them on strike force around our land, and hopefully we can get the occasional decisive engagement with the French and British fleets. And then we're going to pivot all the air and the infantry into southern France. And we're going to slowly, oh, maybe not so slowly, crush the French. We're going to set our fleet to never repair and always engage.
All right, first little encirclement in. That is four divisions surrounded near Anos C. and we'll get the mountaineers ready to start pushing towards Leon. Now I am hopeful that my navy will actually go out there and get into a fight. The volunteers have also returned home so they can join the reserves. I have the mountaineers that have gotten back home. I'll put them into the mountaineer army up here. We're weasling through towards Leon by pushing through some really territory. The mountaineers will have an excellent chance of punching through the mountain tiles. And if we can keep the French units themselves busy long enough, we can easily snake our way into Leon. And the Navy's engaged a major Royal Navy task force. Hopefully, we can make this work to our advantage. Well, not as decisive as I would have liked, but it's a good number of destroyers destroyed, I guess. Already working our way into Egypt here. As for research, let's keep working on the infantry equipment. We've secured Leon. It's not really connected. So, we have to make sure that we seize the surrounding railway lines as well. So, we can actually, you know, provide supply to the supply hub we just captured. And we're trading. Not quite as favorable as I like, but more or less. Okay. All right. That is a major engagement. And by somewhat, I mean we're terribly outgunned here. So, let's see how this ends up. I think we're doing well considering the odds stacked against us. Yeah. If we can now shred the destroyers as they retreat, we'll call this a definite win. Eight destroyers lost and I think we've damaged a lot of their ships. No real kills, but a lot of damage to heavy ships. I I I'll take that as a win. It's a tough fight. Terrain isn't great, but we're moving in for the big encirclement that we were planning. If we can grab them here, we'll we'll essentially have the cream of the French army trapped. Let's spend a little bit of time working on firefighting drills. Get the navy where I need it to be a little bit more robust. It'll hurt nonetheless. Smash them into the port of nice and it'll still be a yeah sizable pocket. They got like one horse on a Jaxio. See if I can get across. Super estito. Let's get army leaders in. Pushing into Tunisia. It's all mine now. Le. And we've definitely pushed into Egypt, but then accidentally the army split off here, which is rather annoying when it does that. Another naval engagement. It's We're not getting those decisive battles in, are we? It's It's mostly catching smaller Oh. Oh, that's what I'm talking about. Now, we've also crushed the pocket here. Let's get the mountaineers. And we're going to keep driving and we're going to start pushing north towards Perry. I know that that's not ideal territory for the mountaineers. If we can crush the French, why not? The Germans aren't really doing anything. They've barely defeated Poland just now, so we got time. Well, it's cost me all of my submarines, but we've established total control of the Mediterranean. We are the dominant naval power here. We will strike at Gibralar as soon as France itself falls. Oh yeah, we're definitely out trading in the air now. Cass is doing its job. Wish I had a little bit more cast, but I'm running into massive rubber bottleneck. Siam, Sam, could you give me some rubber? Yes, that will help. And slowly encirclement by encirclement. We bring the French to their knees. And that is another portion of the French army pushed into the Pyrenees, ready to be destroyed. All right, next stop, Paris. I guess so far Italy has lost 95,000 men, mostly pushing through the Alps, and I have inflicted upon France 593,000 casualties. Nice. Meanwhile, the Horn of Africa is very quiet because we never called our puppets or allies into the war. The enemy AI is still garrisoning this front, so they're putting troops on those borders. Now, I'm going to start making a couple of cruisers specifically for spawning because I am quite annoyed by the British. We're going to put a radar on there and as many aircraft facilities as will fit. And we'll make as many of these as we can. And the French have capitulated to us. Huzzah! There goes the French army. We'll just put the remaining troops on our next target. Let's take out the Belgians. Sorry, boys. has to be done. Obviously, next step will be the Netherlands. I am going to have a deal with the Germans. I'm going to give them control of northern France both because I don't really want to occupy it. Vichi France has control of its rubber supply. It can only form if Germany controls Paris, specifically IL France. And there you go. The Netherlands going to give them control of more of that stuff. Go nuts, you know, go off king, I guess. So they've created Vichy France out of this territory. I hold on to basically everything this side of the river as well as Corsica and whatever I've taken in North Africa. These puppets are restored and returned to Vichy, France. So be it. It's fine by me.
All right, with that we now have a more or less reliable trading partner that we can get rubber from both in the shape of Syiam as well as Vichi France. I love these little naval engagements. That's another task force wiped. And my transports secured. I was going to say and my transport secured, but it would appear. Every time they catch at least one of them. Oh, it's unfair. And then from Oran, we'll attempt to strike at Jibralter. I can deploy some air there to provide cover. All things considering, this is going relatively well. Now, so sad. This is a level five veteran who's lost like 75% of his troop strength. They're going to lose all that experience. As for navy, I could stick with fleet and being serviceable. But considering we are a carrier force, we're going to go with base strike right side first, then left side, then center just to really really consolidate our strength around those aircraft carriers. They've done a really good job. Meanwhile, I'm going to take all of my fighters and put them up over the channel. Actually looks really good. I like those numbers. Let's hit Cyprus again. I'm so sad these guys took so much damage. Oh, and again intercepted. Oh, how I hate that. I hate submarines. I hate them with a burning burning passion. Anyway, at least Cyprus has been taken. And we'll force the enemy fleet out. And that is the task force that was hiding on Cyprus. Now it looks like he's actually getting his ships out. Damn. While we're here, might as well go to total mobilization as well as women in the workforce. I have as well as war bonds and we can press utilize domestic fil industry to get ourselves a little bit more stability and war support. I'm curious what they have defending Jialter. Oh. Ah, and my navy has decided not to provide naval invasion support because obviously that would be stupid. Well, let's get war with Greece then. So just in case uh you find Gibralar to be as fortified as I have found it, Marines will be very valuable tool. Other than that, more artillery is always good. Well, that's war with Greece. Uh, we'll deal with the Greeks now. Uh, simply declare war. They'll join the Allies. Bada bing, bada boom. We'll use our mountaineers to quickly push on through here. Might as well bring in some close air support while we're at it along with a couple of fighters. I like this. So, I can now say that I am not interested in handing land over to Bulgaria. So, I'm going to click that option. Finally, a good fight. Three heavy cruisers, 12 destroyers, and we've got them on the rebound. There goes the remainder of that task force. Magnificent. Yep, that is another task force collapsed. The big battleship seem to be getting away a lot, but not today. Okay, this is another big one. Mountaineer assault, not ideal. Marines would be better, but I think I can make this work with enough mountaineers. I have my navy here. I I hate how it always does this. The ships sail off to a random port in Greece for reasons entirely unknown to me. While the transports get intercepted by subs. Why? Cuz the game hates me, that's why. And it does actually look like I'll not actually Oh my god, that's 1 2 3 4 five divisions on Gibralar. You know what? With some force attacks, we can make this work. I will deploy additional casts. We will make this work because I I'm tired of this. It's gone on long enough. All right, shore bombardment bonus is here. There's troops in reserve. I think we'll take it this time. Naval invasion support was exactly the thing we needed. God damn, they took a beating. and we'll prepare for the invasion of the UK and an end to all things. And we'll also take the main fleet and move it over to the English Channel. The Navy is in the channel. They're providing naval invasion support. The air force is overhead shooting everything the Brits have left to smitherines. We're going to launch the invasion using our mountaineer. Yes, mountaineers. I know. I know. Marines would be better. These truly elite soldiers will be named after one of our channel members. These are the people that allow me to do what I do. These are the strength in my arm, the holders of my dreams. And let's see what they can dream up for me today. Air up over there. Air up over southern England. We will have our satisfaction this day cuz the place is garrisoned, but we should find gaps in the armor nonetheless. Not to mention, we have absolute total naval and air dominance today. I'll take Portsmith. We'll be able to take Do as well. And with that, we'll send an army across. A single infantry army. You never want to send too much over at once. The mountaineers will lead the way. The infantry will follow behind. We have total air dominance. Cass is going to shred them. Look at that. Look at those numbers. Oh, looks like the Germans have landed in Scotland. Impressive. Oh, they've taken the aisle of man as well. Well, it helps when we sweep the seas for them. For the most part, we've done fairly well. Call the Aziran Empire to war cuz I can give them some territory in the region when I'm carving up the place. And I'm going to call the Italian Greeks into the war as well because I can give them Greece. Yes. And another major engagement. Ooh, alongside the Germans even. That is a blow to the British home fleet. That's a battle cruiser and a carrier sunk along with some chaff. How is the fleet looking? It's looking very robust. Not even a scratch on most of my big boys. As far as research is concerned, by the way, I have somewhat stopped mentioning what to do, but the basics are simple. Simply keep your infra keep your industry up to date. Make sure you keep radar and radio up to date. Infantry equipment has to be kept up to date. Artillery has to be kept up to date and your support companies very very important. Other than that, naturally air. As soon as an airframe is outdated, yeet it and replace it with the better engines and better airframes. God, I love these ships. Now, they did take out my spotting cruiser, so that hurts. But I have them right where I want them. Blast away, boys. Oh, we got them. All right, there goes the United Kingdom. Now, as for stuff to take, I'll have to consult the map. And just like that, we have created a terrible, terrible world. We've decided that we have earned ourselves a couple of puppets. So, we've basically carved up the British Empire in its various constituent parts. I misclicked the peace deal and accidentally puppeted the UK's little islands and Gibralar instead of taking everything. But, I think we made out like a bandit in this peace deal. We've and there's only one real power left to challenge the rise of greater Italy in this world and it's Joseph. And Joseph is not long for this world. What I did to the Raj though. That should be there should be punishments on that. But it's too funny not to. You know, while we're waiting for that, might as well go to war with Vichy France as well cuz I would like to demand the chinos as well. I need the the Swiss to know their place. All right. Goodbye, Vichy France. It was nice knowing you. We're going to demand the Chino next. As you can see, no real issues fighting the Vichy French. Who would have known? Who would have known? We'll just annex the whole thing. Take their navy. And because the German AI has gone off the rails, they've declared war on the United States. They have done unspeakable things. But they've actually done crossing the Atlantic first before doing war with the USSR. Now, I can already tell you I can fight the US. I actually already have a foothold there to fight the US if I so chose. But boy, does that feel tedious. I could f some troops over, deal with that, and then deal with the USSR, I guess. But first, Switzerland. Well, the Swiss said no. That gives us the wargle. Either they say yes and we get to territory, or they say no. And well, we we get the territory. So, we'll just quickly overrun them. Shouldn't be too difficult. There's a lot of Swiss there, but honestly, they're they're not really any match for this military. They're up, mountaineers in, and our army is technically perfectly designed for the territory. And they've capitulated. Huzzah! No, I can have all of it. Anyway, has Germany declared war yet? No, but they will. Question is, how long can they last against the Soviets if they've got everything committed to America? Probably not very long. So, I'll just commit my army here. As expected, the Germans have declared their war. That's fine. We'll come in there. We'll join your Soviet war. All right. It's the least I can do, but I'm not fighting America for you. You You can fall back to Quebec here, the Canadian Matis First Nations State under Douglas Burbaki. And you know, if we if we live long enough here, maybe you can you can do some stuff up there. God, this is disgusting. There has to be a better way to do this. There just has to be a better way to just not get this notification. Let's take a little trip here. St. Petersburg. I've seized the area around Lennengrad. You know what? Let Germany deal with the main front. They should have enough troops to deal with it. I am going to pour my strength into the northern bit. Is this clean? No. Is this incredibly funny? Yes. Is that the remains of the Red Navy? Also, yes. If anyone at Paradox, anyone at all watches these videos, please, please tell them to fix this. It is so infuriating. Look at the cast. Look at the cast damage. And we've effectively just torn the Soviet Union wide open. Naval invasion near Leningrad, then pouring 120 divisions out into that. We've inflicted almost half a million on the Soviets and taken out a nice bit of territory here. So I I think as far as the Soviet Union's concerned, we've got this in the bag. Total air dominance and our infantry army is marching across the waists. Less fortunate is yeah, Germany's lost everything it had in the US and they've basically had their army pushed into my two puppets. I have a slice of Canada there and a slice of Quebec there. So at least they didn't lose everything. The idea now being that we carve our way south both towards Moscow and the Black Sea. Now the problem of course is going to be we we don't have any real armor and we don't have any real manpower. Now we are mobilizing service by requirements. So bad for the economy, good for the manpower pool. I would like to get to Moscow. The problem is there's just no supply there. Let's make let's make sure we work on supply so we can actually, you know, get to Moscow. I have just piggybacked off a German unit casually walking to Kev, in which case I will be following along with my mountaineers trying to push to the Black Sea. And over here, I've got half of my mountaineers trying to make a push towards Moscow. But holy are they putting up a fight there. There's like no supply here. Paradox, if you if you're watching, this is ass. Nobody likes this. This is not good game design in any universe within the multiverse theory. Do something about this. As for this bit of land, if I can get the Nikolai, we've essentially encircled the entire Soviet front. There we go. We've split the fronts. We just need to take Akeran and Odessa and we would have achieved total and complete control. Mario would be nonsense. No, no, no. Rome is a thing of the past. The Great Italy is here now. And we've driven them from the coast. This entire section is encircled. That is beautiful. All out assault now because vast sections of the front are no longer manned. And considering it doesn't look like we'll be able to take Moscow immediately. What do bring more Cass? Cuz that is a lot of cast. That gas is so great. Oh, we might actually be able to take Moscow just because of the sheer weight of Cass we're bringing on. Oh, they're spicy. And now we have Moscow in hand. Uh, we essentially have everything we need to push further. Now, this is potentially a bad idea. I'm going to see if I can bail out Finland a little bit. There goes the last hold outs need and up north. That is a lot of divisions. I'm going to ask my editor to keep a counter going how often this happens and how often I complain about it, but you can bet your ass it's a lot again. Paradox, fix this now. Japan's at war with the Soviets as well. Not really sure why there. Extra agility, even better. That is Akaraman. That's another bunch of divisions. And that's like 30 over there. And now with that entire frontline section cleaned up, that comes down to 2.2 million casualties for the Soviet Union. Their army's been cut down to size. Their industry's been cut down to size. Well, next step, caucuses towards a greater Italy. Then we may finally press the button we've been waiting for. Mussolini in his vaguely competent state has actually achieved his goals of Italia irredenta, a greater Italy. Viva Italia Gloruch. Click at the button. Now, the flag looks a little fancier. The color of the map looks a little better. There we go. We now have cores on Corsica, cores on Savoi, and I believe there's a little bit of other stuff. We also get apparently Greece is now appar Greece has handed over some territory as well. Just a handful of mountaineers have completely turned the tide against Finland. So that's settled as well. And again, I am once again asking Paradox to fix this. I don't know what the counter is at now, but I'm up my limit here. Let's proclaim a new emperor of Ethiopia. All those tiny little puppets, you know, they they've run their course. They've they've made themselves useful, but their usefulness has run out. It keeps happening. It keeps happening. And with a new emperor of Ethiopia appointed, we have a new decision here. established Africa oriental italana which is incredibly funny because we can now turn that entire section of the world which we've carved up the teeny tiny pieces for our convenience into something else something greater Italian East Africa which admittedly still breaks a little bit we'll hand over Somali land we'll hand over Garisa and we'll hand over Dabi now as for focuses it really doesn't matter at this point the big deal was the buildup and making sure that we can get towards a greater Italy. Other than that, I'm going to leave this up to you. Pick whatever you want. There is still some very good stuff here in the naval branch or the air branch. Some bonuses, some extra stuff to be had, but all in all, we've achieved the greatness we set out to achieve. I love how the Soviets declare one Iran no matter what happens. Guess we'll make a new friend in the sha. Oh, just go away. Just go away. If I want you in the war, I'll call you in. And Italian and German forces closing on Stalingrad. April 1942. That is Moscow. Stalingrad Lennengrad seized. Of course, the Soviets. The Soviets don't surrender that easily. We're literally going to have to push to like to do it. Please stop asking me to join your wars. It's getting real tiresome. 5% left to go. And there we have it. The end of the Soviet Union. And having sat at that peace table as equals at least equals to the Germans, Mussolini has secured for himself a pretty sweet deal. Control of the various little republics in the caucuses and having them sign over their resource rights to Italy. With those resources in hand, not just in the caucuses, but other Siberian vassel states as well. Italy now has the industry. Well, it already had, but now it has the resource security and the oil security it would need to take on the United States of America. And this is really the endgame, the final boss, if you will. Well, the army has arrived by and large. I don't think the Americans really know what's coming for them. Oh, join the Japanese American war. Apparently, that's going to come bring me into conflict with China as well. So be it. We're just going to finish the job here. All aboard the pain train. And we're going to call in this time literally everyone. The computer is going to love this one. [Laughter] Oh, my CPU. Oh my god, it's been going on for Oh, wow. Remind me never to do that again. We're trading very favorably in the air as well. The USA is always set up as the big bad or the the final boss a lot of times. I I don't see it. Usually, if you can get to America, it's pretty much over very quickly. And we're meeting the US Navy in the field as well. We have secured the seas and the Rea Marina will face off any takers. Anyone who wants the piece of us can have it. All right, mountaineers are ready to take on a campaign through Appalachia. Now, the hardest part is probably just going to keep the infrastructure running. We'll build up a little bit of planning and all these guys. Going to get everyone into position and then deal the hammer blow. That is the US Navy bloodied. Goodbye Maryland. And goodbye West Virginia, Colorado, Idaho, and Mississippi. Yeah, the Navy's having a jolly good time here. Oh yeah, more airfields means more airplanes. More airplanes means not a lot left of the US Air Force. Oh, that's not good for the American military. Oh, that is like 30 divisions altogether. Maybe a little more than 30. Not bad. Punch through there. Isolate Florida and then push down into Florida to destroy whatever we've trapped there. I have a lot of cast up there. They should be contributing now. So much for the vaunted American military. They're well on their way to capitulation. 42% of their victory points already lost. That's another 10. 11 American divisions wiped out in Miami. The Italians are coming to Miami, boys. Next stop, Los Angeles. And I can finally become the podcaster I've always wanted to be. I think we should all count ourselves fortunate that we live in a world without a competent Mussolini. We are approaching the Rocky Mountains at a break neck pace. America is 96% of the way towards capitulation. Italy has proven itself to be Oh, I've lost 700,000 men here. Um, not brilliant. You got to break a few eggs. You know, I have to have a few thousand dead so you can sit at the peace table like a man who fought. It is done. The United States of America have fallen and it's all over. And with that, we have redrawn the map of the United States. The Italian protectorate of America. We'll just have to do without without Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. Um, don't worry, we'll we'll make up for it with massive investments in New Jersey. Don't worry about it. Anyway, I am not fighting China. It is 1943. The game is chugging. China itself. This is irrelevant, but you know, here we have it. A world in which Mussolini was vaguely competent. Victory on all fronts. The mountaineers, these glorious channel members have brought victory after victory after victory. The Navy is the most glorious navy in the world. I don't think anyone can touch this. This is just magnificent. These guys have done a tremendous job. Not to mention the infantry, the poor bloody infantry who have died, fought, killed, and died for all of this. And that magnificent air force. Anyway, I hope you guys like the video. It's something a little different, but hey, I had a lot of fun doing it. Hope you guys had a lot of fun watching it. And I'll see you on the next one. Goodbye.
