How possible is it that our universe is inside a black hole? This isn't a theory from the internet. It comes straight out of Einstein's equations.
When physicists solve general relativity under extreme conditions, something strange appears. A black hole doesn't have to end in a crushed point. In some solutions, spacetime continues on the inside. From the outside, matter collapses. Time slows. Everything falls inward.
But cross the event horizon and the math flips. Space begins to expand. Time moves forward. Expansion becomes inevitable. That expansion would look indistinguishable from a big bang.
In this framework, the big bang isn't the birth of everything. It's the interior evolution of a black hole formed in a larger universe. A black hole. There is an entire cosmos here.
This isn't proven, but it's mathematically consistent with relativity, and it explains real observations like cosmic expansion, large-scale smoothness, and why we can never see beyond our horizon. No edge, no outside view, no escape.
If the equations are right, we may not live in the universe. We may live inside a collapse that happened somewhere else.
