I was talking with my husband the other day as we were going home, and sometimes one goes, I don't know, listening to a message or a sermon or reading a quote, and one is left thinking. And I think that day I had been studying a bit about what it means to be a child, or what it means to be an adult, or what it means to be. And I was telling him on the way, how tremendous, it was a conversation between him and me, I was telling him, what a tremendous responsibility it is to be an adult, because it's not just saying, I'm leaving my house, and other things don't happen here either. But there are some who say, I'll marry the first one who comes along to get away from my dad, and it's not like that. You leave a shelter, in which they give us correction, instruction, and who liked correction or instruction in their house? Nobody. Nobody. At 16, 17, 15, 14, from the age you could grumble and slam the door, who liked to be corrected? And now, at these years, I think and I say, but, forgive the word, but how foolish of me not to want to be corrected, not to want my dad to say, you can come home by 10 at the latest, and then I would make him wait until 12, and then he would say, get out, right? And so it was permission obtained by force, which could have a consequence. Amen. But what is being an adult? What is it? What is a child, for example, when the child is at home? Oh, my dad, how he nags. Oh, my mom, again, she's going to ask me to take out the trash. Oh, you wanted servants or slaves, you didn't want children. But they don't understand that that is a commitment and a school. The first school is at home. Right? I have some little girls now that I sometimes take care of, my granddaughters, and I tell the little girl, it's time to eat, but it's time to pick up the toys, and she throws them, she picks them up, and I see her start to throw them, and she's 3 years old, and I tell her, "Look, are you sure you're going to throw them?" And she stays like this, "Sure, if you're going to throw them, you pick them up," because if I let her make a mess, at the end of the day, I'm going to have to be cleaning up all that disorder. But if I teach her, she will have finished playing and bring me a whole bag with a bunch of things arranged in her way, because she picked them up. Why? Because that is instruction. Right? So, what is a child at home? Or what is a child supposed to do at home? Well, they are supposed to obey. And how many of us obeyed at home? And they should also accept a "no" for an answer. But if now, at 50 years old, it's difficult for someone to tell you, "No, you can't buy that because it's too expensive." Ah, and what are you married? Yes, and what? I work. Why not? And even two, I'm going to buy them. No, one, two at once. Right? Because, look, why are we? Why don't we accept a "no" for an answer? Well, but when they are at home, it's a little easier because they say no, but in the end, they end up doing it, even if it's late. They take out the trash, but grumbling, but they do it. But what about when they are alone? I sometimes say, and when they are alone, will cockroaches come out when they don't want to take it out? Will the trash rot until it stinks? We have to learn to let ourselves be governed, and when we are alone, now I ask the single ones, those who left their homes 15, 16 years ago, those who came to the United States, because there is beloved freedom, how did it go? Did you know how to govern yourself, or did you come to get into debt? Did you come to the land of opportunities? And that's where one realizes, how am I? And one could say, very badly, do you know how to govern yourself? I am ungovernable, right? Because coming here, one, one, or staying outside the home, I tell him, I told my husband, how tremendous that when we didn't get married, my dad wasn't there anymore, nor your sister, because he lived with his sister, so his sister governed him, but now alone, forget it. We got into big problems because there was no one to tell us no, because sometimes one feels self-sufficient, because sometimes one says, I don't need them anymore, I don't need them anymore. And now, now that my dad comes and advises me, and I listen, and I listen, and I say, my dad is right. My dad has changed many things for me. My dad, when he has come, the way of thinking I had, he has changed it for me, just with his experience. For example, on one occasion he was saying, ah, what is it for? We were talking about a wedding, etc., and then he told me, "You know what is important about a wedding?" And I, the food, and the guests, and the clothes I'm going to wear. He told me, "No, you go to a wedding because they have given you the great honor of being a witness, and that you will never please people, but you will be a witness to a very important event," my dad said. Look, I hadn't seen it that way, and I was thinking that yes, it's true, because when, I don't know how many weddings you've been to, and how many you've left speaking very badly about the food or the service they gave you, but really, let's say it, people invited you, they gave you the honor of inviting you, right? And sometimes we don't understand those things. But well, so we return, right, to the alley. So, how are you alone? Do you know how to govern yourself? Do you know how to say no? Does it tempt you to buy a pizza at 11 at night, and you've eaten pizza all week, and you say, "No, you can't go. I don't give you permission to spend another $2 on an expense that you can go and make a couple with your tortillas, and at the end of the month, you end up asking for loans because you ate so much outside that you can't." Right? So, how are we if we don't know how to govern ourselves? That's why these Friday services are important, right? We have wisdom, we have intelligence. That's why that quote that we've been hitting hard these days, right? We need to know how to ask, because His word says that we do not have because we do not ask, and if

How, how are those opportunities that the Lord suddenly tells us, "Ask me now and I will give it to you." What do you ask for? I believe that such a wise person, truly so wise, what did he ask for? Wisdom. And the Lord was pleased. So there are things, or there are, or there are prayers, or requests, that please the Lord. Oh Lord, I want a 4x4 truck, double-wheeled, eight cylinders, to see if one day I'll go to the mountains. Will it please the Lord? No, because we seek, as the scripture says, for our own delights, right? And the only thing it will do is enslave us. So asking the Lord, right? So the Lord is pleased that we ask Him. What things please the Lord? So, do you know how to govern yourself before buying something, even if it's just for yourself? You ask yourself, because we are governed by the law of freedom. Everything is lawful for you. If someone looks up the verse and puts it there, that's a law. So, like, we're going to put something, right? You arrive, you want this bag, you need it, and you start asking yourself, do you need it? You already have like 100 and you only use one. Do you really need it? Does it look like the one you have? If you're there, like, fighting with a situation that you don't need. Everything is lawful for me, right? But not everything is beneficial for you. Not everything edifies you. So we have to be very intelligent, right? Now let's go with the married couples. How is their wisdom? How is that, that, that three-stranded cord? No, sister, it's already frayed.
