There are Christians who pray and there are men who walk with God. There are believers who read the Bible and there are souls who hear his voice in the secret place. There are people who attend church and there are vessels consecrated, broken, emptied, burning before the throne.
Leonard Ravenhill spent his entire life proclaiming one uncomfortable truth. The church is full of Christians, but empty of men who truly walk with God. We have programs but no power. We have preaching but no presence. We have activity but no anointing. And the reason is simple. We lost the secret.
The secret of Enoch who walked with God and was taken. The secret of Moses whose face shone because he had been with God. The secret of Elijah who prayed and heaven obeyed.
This is not a message for casual believers. This is not content for entertainment. This is a prophetic confrontation with your spiritual condition. If you want to remain comfortable in a cold, mediocre, powerless Christianity, close this video now.
But if something inside you is crying out, "Lord, I want more. I want reality. I want you." Then this message will mark your life forever. Right now, pause everything. Silence your phone. Close the other tabs. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak because what you are about to hear is not theory. It is the sword of the spirit cutting through religious performance and exposing the truth.
You were created to walk with God. There is a famine in the land. Not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. The prophet Amos declared it centuries ago, and we are living it today. Churches are full, but heaven is silent. Pulpits are active, but God is absent. We have everything except the one thing that matters, his presence.
And I want to ask you a question that will haunt you if you are honest. When was the last time you truly met with God? Not when you said a prayer, not when you attended a service, not when you sang a song, but when you encountered the living God in such a way that you were undone, transformed, marked forever by his holiness and his love.
The tragedy of our generation is not that the world is dark. The tragedy is that the church has lost the light. We have become experts in religion but strangers to God. We know the language, the rituals, the forms but we do not know him. And a Christian who does not know God is the most dangerous deception on earth because he believes he is saved while he is still lost. Believes he is alive while he is spiritually dead.
Leonard Ravenhill understood this. He wept over it. He preached it until his voice broke. He said, "The greatest need of the hour is men who know God. Not men who know about God. Not men who can quote scripture or defend doctrine. But men who have been in the secret place, who have wrestled with the Almighty, who have died to themselves and been raised to walk in the power and purity of his spirit."
And this is where the secret begins. It begins in the place no one sees. It begins in the hidden chamber of the heart where you meet God alone with no audience, no applause, no recognition. It begins when you shut the door to the world and open your soul to eternity. Jesus said, "When you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your father who is in secret."
This is not optional. This is not a suggestion for the super spiritual. This is the foundation of every life that has ever mattered for the kingdom of God. Enoch walked with God. The scripture does not tell us that Enoch preached great sermons or built magnificent temples or led powerful movements. It says simply Enoch walked with God and he was not. For God took him.
What a testimony. What a life not measured by visible success or human applause but by the daily faithful intimate walk with the creator of the universe. And because he walked with God, heaven could not wait to have him. God said, "Come home, my friend. You belong here now."
Do you understand what this means? Enoch did not die. He did not taste death. He simply walked into glory because he had been walking with God all along. The transition was natural, inevitable, beautiful, and the reason is clear. Heaven recognized him. Heaven knew his voice. Heaven had seen his face in the secret place. He was not a stranger trying to enter. He was a friend coming home.
But how many of us today are strangers to heaven? How many of us call ourselves Christians yet live our entire lives without ever walking with God? We walk with our plans, our ambitions, our entertainment, our distractions. We walk with the world and call it balance. We walk with sin and call it grace. We walk in darkness and call it freedom. And all the while God is calling, "Walk with me. Leave everything else and walk with me."
Moses understood this. When God called him to lead Israel out of Egypt, Moses could have relied on his position, his authority, his eloquence. But he knew better. He knew that without God's presence, everything was meaningless. So he prayed a prayer that should be engraved on the heart of every believer. "If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here."
Moses was saying, "I would rather stay in the wilderness with your presence than enter the promised land without you. I would rather have nothing with you than everything without you." And God responded, "God showed Moses his glory. God met with him face to face as a man speaks with his friend."
And when Moses came down from the mountain, his face was shining. He did not know it. He was not trying to shine. But when you have been with God, it shows. When you have spent time in his presence, there is a radiance, a weight, an authority that cannot be manufactured or faked. The world sees it. Demons fear it. Heaven recognizes it.
This is the secret. Time with God transforms you. Not time talking about God. Not time working for God, but time with God in the silence. In the stillness, in the surrender, when you bring nothing and he gives everything. When you empty yourself and he fills you. When you die and he raises you to life.
But here is the problem. We do not want to die. We want blessings without brokenness. We want power without the cross. We want anointing without altars. We want the glory without the grind. And so we remain weak, shallow, ineffective. We have a form of godliness but deny its power. We look like Christians, sound like Christians, act like Christians, but we do not walk with God.
Elijah knew the secret. When he stood before King Ahab and declared as the Lord God of Israel lives before whom I stand, he was not speaking theoretically. He was not quoting theology. He was testifying to a reality. Elijah stood before God. He lived before God. He walked with God. And because he walked with God in secret, he could speak for God in public. Because he prayed in the hidden place, he had authority in the visible place. Because he was a man of the altar, he was a man of fire.
And when Elijah prayed, heaven listened. He prayed and the rain stopped for three and a half years. He prayed and fire fell from heaven. He prayed and the dead were raised. Why? Because his prayers were not religious exercises. They were not empty words repeated out of habit. They were the overflow of a life soaked in the presence of God. They were the cry of a man who knew God, loved God, feared God, and walked with God every single day.
This is what the modern church has lost. We have lost the secret place. We have lost the prayer closet. We have lost the art of waiting on God, seeking God, wrestling with God until he blesses us. We have replaced intimacy with information. We have replaced presence with programs. We have replaced power with performance. And the result is a church that looks alive but is spiritually dead. A church that makes noise but has no voice. A church that is busy but barren.
Leonard Ravenhill wept over this. He said, "We have many organizers but few agonizers. Many players but few prayers, many singers but few clingers." He was calling the church back to the one thing that matters. Knowing God, not knowing about him, not serving him from a distance, but knowing him intimately, personally, passionately.
And how do you know God? You seek him. You pursue him. You make him your priority, your obsession, your life. You say with David, "One thing I have desired of the Lord. That will I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple." One thing, not many things, not a balanced life with God as one category among many, but one thing, God above everything, before everything, through everything.
This is not fanaticism. This is Christianity. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." First, not second, not when you have time, not when it is convenient, first. Before your career, before your relationships, before your dreams, before everything.
And when you seek him first, something miraculous happens. you find him. Jesus promised, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Not with half your heart, not with a divided heart, not with a distracted heart, but with all your heart. Every desire, every thought, every moment surrendered to him.
And when you find him, you find everything. You find purpose. You find peace. You find power. You find the reason you were created. Because you were not made for success or comfort or approval. You were made for God. You were made to walk with him, to know him, to love him, to reflect his glory to a dark and dying world.
But this walk requires death. Death to self, death to pride, death to your own agenda. Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me." Daily. Not once. Not when you feel like it. Daily. Every single morning you wake up and say, "Today I die. Today I surrender. Today I follow you. No matter the cost."
This is the cross. Not a piece of jewelry. Not a symbol on a wall. But the instrument of execution where your flesh is nailed. Your will is broken. Your plans are crucified. And it is painful. It is humiliating. It is the death of everything you thought you were. But on the other side of that death is resurrection. On the other side of that cross is life, real life, eternal life, the life of God flowing through you.
And this is when you begin to walk with God. Not before. You cannot walk with God while you are walking with yourself. You cannot walk with God while you are clinging to the world. You cannot walk with God while you are holding on to sin. The walk with God requires separation. It requires holiness. It requires a clean heart and pure hands and a soul that has been washed in the blood of the lamb.
Holiness is not legalism. Holiness is not a list of rules. Holiness is separation unto God. It is saying, "Lord, I am yours completely, totally, unreservedly. Everything I am, everything I have, everything I will ever be, it is yours." And when you give yourself completely to God, he gives himself completely to you. And that exchange, that union, that intimacy is the secret of men who walk with God.
These men do not live for the applause of the crowd. They live for the approval of heaven. They do not seek to build their own kingdom. They seek to advance his kingdom. They do not worry about their reputation. They care only about his glory. And because they walk with God, they carry his presence. They speak his words. They do his works. They shake nations and change history and leave a legacy that echoes through eternity.
Think of the great men of God throughout history. Men like John Wesley who spent hours every day in prayer and saw revival sweep across England. Men like George Whitefield who preached with such anointing that hardened sinners fell to their knees weeping under conviction. Men like Charles Finny who walked into towns and the presence of God was so strong that entire communities were converted. Men like David Brainard who prayed in the snow until his breath froze on his lips and saw Native American tribes come to Christ.
These were not ordinary men. They were men who walked with God. And the secret was always the same. The secret place, the hours alone with God, the prayers that no one heard, the tears that no one saw, the battles fought on their knees, the death to self that happened in the hidden chamber of the heart. This is where the power came from. This is where the anointing was born. This is where they learned to hear his voice and obey his will and trust his promises. no matter what.
And God is calling you to the same thing. He is calling you to walk with him. Not to admire him from a distance, not to study him like a subject, but to walk with him, to live with him, to breathe with him, to have your heartbeat in rhythm with his heart. But it will cost you everything.
It will cost you your time. You cannot walk with God 5 minutes a day and expect intimacy. You cannot give him your leftovers and expect transformation. You must give him your best, your first, your all.
It will cost you your comfort. Walking with God means leaving the safe places, the familiar places, the easy places. It means stepping into the unknown with nothing but his promise to guide you.
It will cost you your reputation. When you walk with God, the world will not understand you. Religious people will criticize you. Even your friends may abandon you. But you will have him, and he is enough.
It will cost you your sin. You cannot walk in darkness and walk with God. You cannot harbor compromise and walk with God. You cannot live for yourself and walk with God. The light exposes everything. And when you walk with God, his holiness reveals every shadow, every secret, every sin that must be confessed and forsaken and crucified.
But what you gain is infinitely greater than what you lose. You gain him. You gain the creator of the universe as your closest friend. You gain the king of kings as your father. You gain the Holy Spirit as your constant companion. You gain purpose, peace, power, and the absolute certainty that your life matters for eternity.
And when your days on earth are done, you will not fear death. Like Enoch, you will simply step from walking with God on earth to walking with God in heaven. The transition will be seamless because you have been living in his presence all along. Heaven will not be a strange place. It will be home because you have been walking toward it, walking with him every single day of your life.
So I ask you again, do you walk with God? Not do you believe in God, not do you go to church, not do you call yourself a Christian, but do you walk with God? Is your life characterized by intimacy with him? Do you know his voice? Do you seek his face? Do you live in his presence? Or have you been living a Christian life without Christ? Going through the motions without the master, performing religion without relationship.
If so, today is the day everything changes. Today is the day you say no more. I am done with empty Christianity. I am done with spiritual mediocrity. I want the real thing. I want God. I want to walk with him. And when you make that decision, everything shifts. Your priorities change. Your desires change. Your life changes. Because walking with God transforms everything it touches.
It transforms your heart, your mind, your marriage, your work, your future. It transforms you from a mere Christian into a man or woman of God, into a vessel of his glory, into a burning light in a dark world. The world does not need more Christians who fit in. The world needs men and women who walk with God and stand out, who carry his presence, who speak his truth, who live in his power, who refuse to compromise, refuse to conform, refuse to settle for anything less than the fullness of God.
This is the call. This is the challenge. This is the invitation of heaven to your soul right now. Come and walk with me. Leave everything behind and walk with me. Know me, love me, serve me, and I will make your life count for eternity. Will you answer? Will you surrender? Will you seek him with all your heart until you find him?
The choice is yours. But understand this, there is no middle ground. You either walk with God or you walk away from him. You either live in his presence or you live in emptiness. You either burn with his fire or you freeze in spiritual death. There is no neutrality in the kingdom of God. There is no safe place of casual Christianity where you can have just enough religion to feel comfortable but not enough to be transformed.
Jesus said, "I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth." These are not the words of a God who tolerates spiritual mediocrity. These are the words of a holy God who demands everything or nothing at all.
The tragedy of our generation is that we have created a Christianity that costs nothing, demands nothing, and produces nothing. We have made disciples who know how to attend but not how to surrender, who know how to sing but not how to seek, who know how to perform but not how to pray. And God is calling us out of that deception. He is calling us to reality. He is calling us to the cross. He is calling us to death and resurrection. He is calling us to walk with him.
And this walk is not for the faint of heart. It is not for those who want God as an addition to their life. It is for those who want God as their life. It is for those who are willing to forsake everything, risk everything, lose everything to gain him. Because when you have him, you have everything that matters. When you walk with him, you walk in purpose, in power, in peace that surpasses all understanding.
Choose this day whom you will serve. Not tomorrow. Not when you feel ready. Not when circumstances are perfect. This day, right now, in this moment, because this moment is all you have. You are not promised tomorrow. You are not guaranteed another opportunity. God is speaking to you now, and you must respond now.
Choose intimacy over activity. Choose the secret place over the spotlight. Choose the hidden work of prayer over the visible work of ministry. Choose to be known by God rather than known by men. Because what God knows about you matters infinitely more than what people think about you. And when God knows you, when he recognizes you as one who walks with him, all of heaven responds.
Choose presence over performance. Stop trying to impress God with your works and start pursuing God with your worship. Stop measuring your spirituality by what you do and start measuring it by who you are becoming in his presence. Because God is not looking for workers. He is looking for worshippers. He is not looking for servants who perform duties. He is looking for sons and daughters who desire intimacy.
Choose God above all. above your career, your dreams, your ambitions, above your comfort, your security, your plans, above your reputation, your relationships, your very life. Make him the center. Make him the foundation. Make him the reason you wake up every morning and the last thought before you sleep. Let every breath be a prayer. Let every moment be an opportunity to commune with him.
And when you choose him, something miraculous begins to happen. The veil is torn. The distance is bridged. The separation ends. And you discover the secret of men who walk with God. The secret that has been hidden in plain sight throughout all of scripture. The secret that every revivalist, every reformer, every man and woman of God throughout history has discovered and lived by. The secret that changes everything. The secret that turns cowards into lions. The secret that transforms fishermen into apostles. The secret that takes ordinary, broken, flawed human beings and makes them extraordinary vessels of his glory. The secret that makes demons tremble and heaven rejoice. The secret that moves mountains and parts seas and raises the dead.
The secret is simply this. God is waiting for you. He has always been waiting. Before you were born, he was waiting. Before you knew his name, he was waiting. Before you understood what it meant to be saved, he was waiting. Waiting with infinite patience, with relentless love, with arms stretched wide, waiting for you to stop running from him and start running to him. waiting for you to stop hiding behind your excuses and your fears and your unworthiness.
Waiting for you to realize that he does not want your perfection. He wants your presence. He does not want your strength. He wants your surrender. He does not want your ability. He wants your availability waiting for you to stop pretending that you have it all together when you are falling apart inside. Stop pretending that you are satisfied with a shallow surface level faith when your soul is crying out for more. Stop pretending that religion is enough when you were created for relationship. Stop pretending that you can live without him when every fiber of your being was designed to walk with him, waiting for you to stop settling.
Stop settling for programs when he offers you his presence. Stop settling for sermons when he offers you his voice. Stop settling for secondhand testimonies when he offers you firsthand encounters. Stop settling for a form of godliness when he offers you the fullness of his spirit. Stop settling for survival when he offers you abundant life. Waiting for you to come to him with an open heart and say, "Here I am, Lord. Teach me to walk with you." Not, "Bless my plans, Lord. Not use me, Lord, not give me, Lord, but teach me to walk with you. Teach me to slow down and listen. Teach me to wait and worship. Teach me to seek your face and not just your hand. Teach me to love you for who you are and not just for what you do. Teach me to abide in you. Teach me to live in your presence. Teach me to walk."
And when you come with that prayer, with that hunger, with that desperation, he will meet you. Not maybe, not if you are good enough, not if you deserve it. He will meet you because he has been waiting for this moment. He has been preparing for this encounter. He has been longing for you to come. He will take you by the hand like a father teaching his child to walk. He will steady you. He will guide you. He will lift you when you fall. He will encourage you when you stumble. He will never let go. Never turn away. never give up on you because his love is relentless. His grace is sufficient. His power is made perfect in your weakness.
He will lead you into depths of intimacy you never imagined possible. Depths where you hear his whisper in the silence. Depths where you feel his heartbeat synchronize with yours. Depths where you know his thoughts and he reveals his plans. Depths where time stands still because you are lost in his presence. depths where nothing else matters because you have found everything in him. He will show you things you have never seen. He will teach you truths you have never understood. He will open doors you never knew existed. He will take you to places you never dreamed you could go not geographically but spiritually into realms of glory into dimensions of his nature. Into the secret chambers of his heart where only those who walk with him are invited and your life will never be the same.
You cannot walk with God and remain unchanged. You cannot spend time in his presence and stay as you were. His presence transforms. His glory renovates. His fire purifies. His love revolutionizes everything it touches.
Your perspective will change. What once seemed important will fade into insignificance. What once captured your attention will lose its grip. What once defined you will be redefined by him. You will see the world through his eyes. You will feel the pain he feels over lost souls. You will burn with the passion he has for his church. You will carry the burden he carries for revival.
Your priorities will shift. The things you chased will no longer satisfy. The achievements you pursued will no longer fulfill. The approval you craved will no longer matter. Because you will have tasted something better. You will have experience something real. You will have found the one thing your soul was created for him.
Your power will increase. Not human power, not self-generated strength, but the power of God flowing through a surrendered vessel. The power that cast out demons when Jesus walked the earth. The power that healed the sick, raised the dead, and turned water into wine. The power that shook the upper room at Pentecost. The power that enabled Peter to preach, and 3,000 souls to be saved in one day. The power that strengthened Paul to endure beatings and shipwrecks and imprisonment without losing faith. That power, that same spirit, that same anointing available to you when you walk with God.
Your purpose will crystallize. All the confusion will clear. All the questions will be answered. All the searching will end. Because when you walk with God, you discover why you were born. You understand your assignment. You recognize your calling and everything makes sense. Every trial you endured prepared you. Every valley you walked through trained you. Every wilderness season positioned you. It was all leading to this. Walking with God and fulfilling his purpose for your life.
Your testimony will thunder. You will not need to manufacture stories or exaggerate experiences. Your life will preach. Your character will witness. Your transformation will testify. People will see the change and ask what happened. They will sense the presence and want what you have. They will encounter God through you because you have encountered God yourself. And you will point them not to yourself but to him. Not to a method but to the master. Not to a program but to the person who changed everything.
So come, come right now. Do not wait another moment. Come to the secret place. The place where pretense dies and reality begins. The place where masks are removed and hearts are exposed. The place where you meet God, not as a concept but as a person. Not as a doctrine but as your deliverer. Not as distant deity but as intimate father.
Come to the altar. The place of sacrifice and surrender. The place where Isaac was laid down and Abraham's faith was proven. The place where Elijah called down fire and God answered. The place where you bring everything you are and everything you are not and lay it all down. Your successes and your failures, your strengths and your weaknesses, your dreams and your disappointments. All of it on the altar as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.
Come to the cross. The place where Jesus died so you could live. The place where sin was defeated and death was conquered. The place where grace flows and mercy triumphs. The place where you die to yourself and are raised to newness of life. The place where the old man is crucified and the new creation emerges. The place where everything changes because of what he did for you.
Come to him. Not to religion, not to ritual, not to rules, but to him, to Jesus, to the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. To the lion of Judah who reigns victorious. To the bright morning star who dispels all darkness. To the way, the truth, and the life. To the one who loves you with an everlasting love. To the one who knows you completely and accepts you unconditionally. to the one who calls you by name and invites you to walk with him forever and walk with God.
Not just today, not just this week, but every day for the rest of your life. Make it your habit, your discipline, your lifestyle. Let it become as natural as breathing. Let it define who you are. Let it be said of you what was said of Enoch. He walked with God. Not he was successful, not he was talented, not he was influential, but he walked with God and that will be enough. That will be everything. That will be the testimony that echoes through eternity and inspires generations yet unborn.
This is the call. This is the invitation. This is the moment. Will you answer? Will you come out of the crowd and into his presence? Will you leave the shallow waters and dive into the deep? Will you abandon the comfortable and embrace the costly? Will you stop playing church and start walking with God?
The choice is yours. But know this, he is waiting right now, right here, waiting for you to say yes, waiting for you to surrender, waiting for you to come home. And when you do, all of heaven will rejoice. The angels will celebrate. The Father will run to meet you. And your journey will begin. The journey of a lifetime. the journey of walking with God. So take the step, make the choice, surrender your life and discover the secret that will transform everything. God is not far away. He is right here waiting to walk with you.
