Biblical Truths About Wealth That Could Make You Rich

With that being said, tonight what I want to talk to you about from the word of God is God's original design for wealth. Satan did not create wealth. You know why he didn't create wealth? He don't have anything. How he GOING TO CREATE WEALTH? HOW IS SATAN going to create wealth and he ain't got nothing? I mean, somebody I don't even remember who it was, but somebody wrote a song about it. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. Satan ain't got nothing. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? He broke as a joke and ready to choke. That's why he doesn't come unless he's going to steal, kill, or destroy cuz he don't have anything. So that's to steal what's yours. Am I telling the truth?

And see what's what's fascinating. It's so funny to me. It's not funny. It's funny. It is funny, but it's also sad. I I didn't even realize until just this moment something could be funny and sad. Wow, that's amazing. Okay. So, but it's funny, funny, peculiar, and sad um how twisted religious dogma has people's mind around things in the Bible. And so, I did a video a couple weeks ago. I don't even remember what it was about, but somebody said, "This false teacher, all he ever does is preach about money." I'm like, you clearly don't listen to anything I say, right? I mean, I know you're I know you're mad and broke, but you chose it. You chose to be mad and you chose to be broke. That's not my fault. Just because I don't believe what you believe.

Anyway, so I'm going to I'm going to share with you all God's original design for wealth. Now, before I do that and before we pray, I want to I just want to give you a couple of foundational concepts that could really benefit your life like from now on. Okay? You have to understand, we all have to understand, all of us do, me included, how to properly interpret scripture. The Bible can never say what it's never said, and it can never mean what it's never meant. So when you understand that there really are no verses in the Bible. Do you understand what I mean when I say there are no verses in the Bible? People say, "Well, it says right here in this verse, well, time out." That verse is a part of a greater whole. And if what you have the meaning you've assigned to that verse contradicts the whole, you've misinterpreted it. There are no isolated doctrines in scripture. They're all connected. So if ever I'm confused or conflicted about something the Bible is saying, you know what I need to do? Keep reading, keep studying, keep learning. Is what I'm saying making sense?

And so I'm going to give you three primary principles of proper biblical interpretation. Y'all ready? before we even get into this. So, and here's what I want you to do. I my desire is that you will not believe a word I say. Go check it out for you. Go study the stuff that I'm telling you to make sure I ain't faking you out. Can I get a witness? I don't you like don't don't trust me cuz I got a lot of views on YouTube. That ain't nothing. Better check it with the word.

Okay. I just want to make sure we on the same page talking about the same thing. Okay. Okay. So, rule number one. Rule number one is the law of context. Context. What does that mean? The law of context. It means when I'm studying a passage of scripture, I need to know who's talking. I need to know who they're talking to. I need to know what they're talking about. I need to know whether this is a universal principle or is it an individual prescription. I need to know I need to know what happened before and what happened after. And then when I begin to analyze via word studies, so I'm studying each word, every word, especially the ones I already think I know what they mean.

Am I going too fast? When I do my word studies and then I do my cross references, I make sure that whatever I've concluded that this seems to mean that it does not contradict any other passage of scripture in the whole Bible. I just want to make sure that we all on the same page because a lot of people what they do is they'll list scripture out of context. They'll they'll they'll tell you a verse, they'll say that it means one thing and in the context it say ain't talking about that at all. So the law of context is important. So that's the first one.

Second law, the law of definitions. What does that mean? That means when I'm studying, see, reading the Bible is one thing and it's good. That's good. Read the Bible. But you have to study the Bible in addition to reading the Bible. Otherwise, when you're reading the Bible, you won't know what you're reading. I know what some of you think. Man, I wish he'd get to it. Too late. Okay. Okay. So, I have to get a Strong's concordance. I have to get some tools to study the Bible, a strong exhaustive concordance of the Bible. I need a treasury of scripture knowledge so I can do cross references. I need an encyclopedia of Hebrew words. I need to be able to look stuff up so I can see what the Bible is saying and what it says. I don't need to be in a hurry. I need to treat the Bible like a school zone and not like an interstate and slow down long enough for some learning to take place. You can't be in a hurry to learn the word. Come on now, God. I'm on I'm on time. I'm on schedule. You going to be on schedule by yourself. Wait, I say on the Lord. Okay. I don't know what. Praise the Lord. Okay.

So, the law of context, the law of definitions, and let's don't miss this last one. The law of first mention. What is the law of first mention? However, God first mentions anything in scripture. That's God's original design for that thing. Why? Because he said, "I am the Lord. I what? Change not." Now, God doesn't always do everything he does the same way he's always done it, but his purposes are always the same. And so when we find something me mentioned in scripture and we see the purpose of it, that purpose doesn't change. Are y'all tracking? See, we live in a world that, oh, everything's fluid. No, everything ain't fluid now. The truth ain't fluid. The truth is just as static and stand still and the same as it was 6,000 years ago and will be 6,000 years from now. So, no, the truth ain't fluid. Okay, y'all track me.

So, so just understand like take the things that I'm going to share, the scriptures I'm going to share, go home, see if I'm lying. See if I'm just making stuff up so I can sound good. Okay, y'all track it. Okay, so here's what we're gonna do. We're going to thank the Lord for the opportunity to just be in this place and in this space. Um, and I'm going to share some stuff with y'all. I don't think I'll be long, whatever that means. I don't think I don't have I don't have any intention of being here for a long time, but I'm going to teach until I'm done teaching, whatever that means. So, pray for me. You pray for me, I'll pray for you. Amen.

So, Father, thank you so much for your word. Thank you that you love us more than we love ourselves. We pray that you'd open our eyes, that we would behold wonderful things out of your word. We pray that we would let the your word become the guiding light of our very experience of life. We we pray that you'd help us to saturate our minds with the word of God. And we bless you for who you are and what you're going to do through these people, through all of us here tonight as we take your truth and show it to the world where it becomes incontrovertible, undeniable, unexplainable, and we bless your name for it and the work that you will do through it in the name of Yeshua, our savior. Amen.

So, I was walking through my house one day and I like I'm a I'm a geek. I don't have tape on my glasses. At least not this bear. I don't. So, I'm a geek. I I spend my time contemplating all kinds of geeky stuff like like my daughter says, "Dad, you're boring me." Right? She says, "That's a Jeopardy fact, Dad. Come on. I don't I don't I I can't imagine why I need to know that. Right. So So I get it. I'm I'm a little I'm that guy. So So I was walking through my house one day and I'm thinking to myself, I'm thinking, hm, I wonder how many times Well, before I tell you that, Before I tell you that, let me ask you a question. There is in this world a physical substance that represents now and has since the beginning of time represented wealth. What is it? Say it again.

Gold. That's it. It's gold. Isn't that fascinating? Now, when I was a child, and see I told you I didn't just become a geek eater. I was a geek for I've been a geek for a long time. So, when I was a child, I did not understand it. It it absolutely escaped me why gold was so valuable because copper is gold and brass is gold and brass is even golder than gold is gold. So why is gold more valuable than copper and brass? Did anybody else ever wonder that or am I just the cra only crazy per Okay, two of us. My sister, how you doing? How you doing? We right here we are. Here we are. Okay. Like like I'm thinking this is I don't confusing. Anybody know the answer? Does anybody know the answer? Would y'all like me to share the answer?

Because copper corrods and brass tarnishes. So they are elements that represent the realm of time. But gold does not tarnish. It does not corrode. It does not rust. In fact, it does not deteriorate in any way, shape, or form. And is a physical substance that represents eternity. And that's why so many things in the temple and in the tabernacle were overlaid with gold. So, since I satisfied my curiosity and yours, okay? Right. Um, but that's a mind-blowing concept. So, I want you to think about that. Gold represents eternity. Man, I'm Thank you, Lord. Okay, I'm getting chills just thinking about the stuff that's happening right now.

So, I was walking through my house one day and I'm thinking about gold and I said, "Hm, I wonder how many times gold is mentioned in the first book in the Bible." Because I was thinking about the law first mentioned and I just happened to think about gold. I wonder how many times it's in the book of Genesis. I thought and I thought it's got to be in there at least 500 times. How many times would you guess? Just say a number. It's a guess. It's not a test. So, you can't fail unless you don't say anything. Just throw out a number. How many times?

Okay, great. All of that. Maybe somebody got it right. But that's not the point. The point is I thought it was in there 500 times. So, I got out my strong skin courts. I looked it up. Gold is mentioned in Genesis, the first book in the Bible. We're talking about the law first mentioned right now. Okay? Because we're talking about God's original design because gold represents wealth and God's original design for wealth. Gold is mentioned in the first book in the Bible exactly eight times. Eight times. Eight times. Eight times it's mentioned in the Bible. Now, that that's kind of mind-blowing because every number has significance. One is the number of unity, the unity of God. Two is the number of separation or the holiness of God. Three is the number of God. Four is the number of the earth. Why is four the number of the earth? I told you I was a geek, didn't I? Okay, now y'all believe me, don't you? Okay. So, there's four directions on the earth. North, south, east, and west. There are four seasons. Winter, spring, summer, and fall. Right? Are y'all are y'all picking up what I'm saying? So, so four is the number of the earth. Often times when we find principles that are true around the earth realm, they are they show up in fours. There are four levels of value that we find in Genesis chapter 1 that I found in Genesis chapter 1. And maybe I'll have an opportunity to show that to you this week, but there's four levels of value in Genesis chapter 1. There are four levels of learning. So there are four levels of teaching. If you only teach on one level, then you're going to have like or two levels, you're going to have a class where regardless of what you teach, you'll have a class of confused and frustrated students. You have to teach on all four levels. There are four levels of parenting for four levels of child development. Four is the number of the earth. Five is the number of grace. We have five fingers on our one hand in which we can give a gift and five fingers on our other hand with with which we can receive a gift. Five is the number of grace and grace means a gift. Six is the number of man but also the number of falsehood probably because man believes Satan's falsehood. Seven is the number of completion. Eight is the number of abundance. Infinity. Eternity. Not new beginnings. The new beginning. It's interesting how an octave in music is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and eight is one and one is eight. So if it's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and one is eight and eight is one. And for the music musicians in here, you know what I'm talking about. Where can I Oh, there's the marker. So, so, so, so, so. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 is a new beginning. The eighth day of the week is the first day of the week. If you take an eight and turn it on its side, is the symbol for infinity. Am I going too fast?

And the substance that represents abundance is in the first book in the Bible exactly eight times. Now, that's kind of mind-blowing. But I want to go past kind of. How about this? You want to You really want to mess up rearrange the furniture in your head? Hey, watch this. God used the word good. Everybody say good.

Good. Exactly seven times in Genesis chapter 1. It was finished. The eighth time, the what? The what? The eighth time God used the adjective good to describe something that he had made. He said, "And there is gold in that land, and the gold of that land is good." What? God is a master mathematician there. Okay, people say there are no accidents with God. No, it's deeper than that. It's deeper than that. You ready? There's not one maverick molecule in this entire universe. It is all under his sovereign control.

Now, what's fascinating to me what's fascinating to me is that people choose that worked well is that people choose to live in lack. People who claim to be kingdom believers live in lack. Do you know why? Because we've been trained to give lip service to things that we don't give lip service to.

And I'm telling you, gold is mentioned how many times in Genesis? How many? Okay. Now, is that mind-blowing? Hey, we just getting started. Some some somebody say the word all.

All. All eight times. All eight times. Every time gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis. Oh snap. It is mentioned in conjunction with God's people. What? What just happened? Every time. Every time. How do I change the page? Do I just swipe? What do I change? No, that ain't it. No. Oh, Jean. How do I change the page? What do I do? That's all I need to know. What? How to change the page and how to change the color.

Oh, so you just want to change the color. That Okay, that'll change the color. Just hold it. Okay. Okay. Got it. And then how do I change the page?

Oh, it goes up. Okay. Well, you work on that and I'll be right right back. So, that that that's fine. It'll be it'll be fine. That it'll be fine. Oh, that. Okay. Grab that and then say I got it. I got it now. You can leave it there. Leave it there. That's perfect. Okay. So, I'm I'm so So, I'm going to me I'm going to read the first time it's mentioned. And I already quoted it, but I'm going to read it. Genesis chapter 2. Y'all ready? Genesis chapter 2. Got to get my glasses out. Got to get my glasses out. Y'all ready? Genesis chapter 2. All right. Here we go. 11 and 12. And the name of the first is pisen, which conquerth the whole land of Haval where there is gold. That's the first time gold is mentioned. And the gold of that land is good. And there is delium and onyx stone.

Now, let me ask you a question. So, it wasn't just gold. But it was other precious stones. But let me ask you a question. Where is Genesis chapter 2 describing? What place?

Eden. Oh, the Garden of Eden. Okay. So, I just want to make sure. So, we're talking about the Garden of Eden. Now, it's been a while, but if I remember correctly, y'all refresh my memory. How many people lived in the Garden of Eden?

Two. H. Okay. Two people lived in the Garden of Eden. Okay. Okay. What was their relationship to each other again?

Oh, husband and wife. So, they were married to each other. Okay. And how much did food cost?

How much was it? Oh, it was free. It was free. Okay. It was free. Um, how many stores were there?

I like it. I'm with you. You like it, Josh? You with me, bro? So, so how many stores were there?

None. Okay. There was no stores. There were no stores. There's two people. They're married to each other. What's for sale?

Nothing. What can you buy?

Nothing. But yet and still, God puts gold there and TELLS US THAT IT'S THERE. WHY?

So good. Oh, snap. Let Let me ask you a question. How many of y'all I I want to be honest. How many you never thought about that before in YOUR LIFE? WHY IS GOD PUTTING gold in the GARDEN OF EDEN? THERE'S NOTHING TO BUY. THERE'S PRECIOUS STONE. THERE'S ONYX. THERE'S WHY? WELL, LET ME HELP you understand why. Because God wants us to understand that opulence and abundance are natural resources in the environment for the children of the king.

The first time gold is mentioned in the book of Genesis, it is mentioned, I'll do a one so it's an outline. It's mentioned as providence for God's people. What's providence mean? Providence means to provide in advance. God put the gold there before he put the people there with the gold. God put the garden there before he put the gardener in the garden to garden. God put the assignment there before he put the assenee there. That's how God operates.

Okay. Okay. Y I ain't picking up what I'm putting down, but I'm gonna keep putting it down so somebody stop picking it up. Okay. So, the first time gold is mentioned, it's mentioned as providence for God's people. And by the way, this is I'm not even gonna cover all of them. I don't have time because I got some stuff I want to get to. I'm going I'm It's going to blow your mind. It's going to blow your mind. I promise you. I promise you that if you are struggling financially, the reason you are struggling financially is because you can't see something that's already there.

Wow. I know that's a bold statement, but I'm gonna prove it to you in the Bible. I What do I know? I'm just a What do I know? Okay, so that's the first one. Okay, breathe my Okay, second time gold is mentioned, it's in Genesis chapter 13. Now, Genesis chapter 13 is amazing because it comes after Genesis chapter 12, and something amazing happens in Genesis chapter 12. I really wish I had time to like really develop this for you for from Genesis chapter 12, but I don't. But I want you to understand there's this man, his name is Abram. I mean, we say Abram, but it's really Abram, but his name is Abram or Abram. And God comes to Abram and he says, "I want you to leave your country. I want you to leave your kindred and I want you to leave your father's house. And then I want you to go to a land that I will show you. Time out. I And I just want to make sure I understand this. Lord, you want me to leave the place I know to go to the place I won't know till I get there and you show me I'm there. He said, he said, "Now, why did God tell Abram to leave?" I don't know there. Well, a couple reasons. One, his father was an idoltor who made and sold idols. That's one reason. But I believe the other reason was because of something that God said he was going to do for Abram. So, here's what he said. He said, "If you will leave your father's your your country, your kindred, your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you," he said, "I'm going to do something for you." He said, "I'm going to bless you in ways you can't bless yourself. I'm going to give you things you can't get yourself. I'm going to make you something you can't make yourself." Then he said, he said something amazing that we that we read way too fast. He said, "I'm going to make your name great." Now, I believe, and I can't prove it, but I know human nature fairly well. I believe that Abram's name was the source of Abram's shame. Why? Because the name Abram means high father, but he couldn't have any children. So, he lived a life plagued with imposture syndrome. And so, every time somebody called his name, it reminded him of his inability to be who he was.

And he shrank a little bit every time he heard his name. And so I want I believe that one of the reasons God called Abram out of the land of the familiar is because when you stay in the land of the familiar, a lot of the familiar people won't let you forget who you are not. He said, "I'm going to make your name great." So Abram went to his wife said, "Baby Sai, we leaving now. Any married man? Men in here? Where are my married brothers at? Okay, I'm gonna tell you something. See, see, here's what we as as men, here's what we know. Wives have questions. Where are the wives? Where are the wives? Where are the wives? Here's what the wives know. The men do not always have answers. My wife will ask me a question sometime. I'll just look. I get this blank look on my face. You know what? I would have never thought of that question in 172,000 years. That thought would have never entered my head. I have no idea. Okay. Well, where are we going? Um, not exactly sure. When are we leaving? In the morning. Why are we leaving? God said so. Who is God? What? I'm Anyway, so they left. Okay.

Genesis chapter 13 verses 1 and two. Here's what it says. And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him. Now, Lot was his brother's son, and his brother died, and so he adopted Lot. Okay? And then it says in the next verse, "And Abram was very rich in cattle, and silver, and in gold."

So, I have a question for you. Was Abram rich? Yes. No, he wasn't. He was very rich. You say, "What's the difference?" When you get very rich, you will know the difference between rich and very rich. Huh? Can I get a witness? Huh? SEE, VERY RICH PEOPLE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN rich and very rich. Rich people don't know the difference yet. Okay. Anyway, sorry. Pray for me. Isn't it amazing how amazingly beautiful and poetic and hilarious and real the Bible is? He was very rich. Now, I love the fact that the Bible didn't just tell us he was rich, but it told us how rich he was. Very. But it didn't just tell us how rich he was. It told us how he was rich. What does that mean? Yeah. Because if God See, if God wouldn't have said he's very rich in cattle and silver and gold, people would say, "Uh, that doesn't mean he had money, that just means he was rich in spirituality." Yeah. Okay. Cattle, silver. Those cows didn't know they were spiritual. Cattle, silver, and gold. I I'm not putting anything in here. Yes, this is the second time gold is mentioned in scripture.

So, the second time it's mentioned, I got to go faster because I I want to get to I want this is introductory stuff, but it's helpful, right? Is this helpful? Okay, cool. Okay. So, so the second time it's mentioned, it's mentioned as a possession by God's people. Okay? So God provided it in advance so we could possess it. Got it? A possession by God's people. Did you know? Let me ask you a question. Was Abraham a good guy or bad guy? Was he working for the Lord or working for the devil? Talk y'all. Are you whispering? Who was he working for? The Lord. Who was he yielded to? Who was he following? Okay. Did you know that Abram, the friend of God, the father of the faithful, is the first person in scripture that the scripture tells us was rich? Oh, I'm sorry, very rich. Did you know that? H is somebody Isn't that interesting? And see, we think because we've been so programmed by the lie of the enemy, we think that Satan invented wealth. How could he? He ain't got nothing. Oh my See, I I'm I'm gonna be transparent with y'all. When I first started making a little bit of money, I I thought I was a baller. I was making 30,000 a month. I thought I was hitting my lick. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, we made 30,000 a month. I didn't know anybody else making 30,000 a month. I mean, I knew a few people, but like not anybody in my family, not anybody in my church, not anybody like real close, right? 30,000 a month. My expenses are 5,000 a month. How many of y'all know I was living good? Right. I went to a Robert G. Allen wealth conference and he said, "Is anybody here ready of my stuff? Is anybody I was Oh, yeah, man. I I read your books. I listened to some of your audio programs. I used what I learned, man. I used to be a trash man making $6.25 an hour. Now I make 30,000 a month. I'm living like a king." He said, "Wow, you're doing really good." And then he says, he said, "Yeah, you're about to have a breakthrough to the really big money." There was about 700 people in there looking at me and him. And I thought to myself, did he just diss my 30,000 a month in front of 700 people? That lit, I'm not exaggerating. That was my first thought. Guess what my second thought was? Wait, there's a level where $30,000 a MONTH AIN'T NO MONEY? OH, let's go. Y'all picking up what I'm putting down? Okay, cool. I just I'm just telling you what was going on in me, right? I I can only testify for what happened in me. Okay.

So, so then it's God put wealth. So far, at least it seems like we ain't I mean, we ain't all the way through Genesis yet, but so far it seems like I'm g show you I'm g show you I'm g show you two more and then you can go look up the rest of them yourself because I want to show you something else that's mind-blowing. Remember what I said earlier about um like if you're like struggling financially, there's something you're missing. There's something that's there that you can't see. Something that's already there. It's already there. You're waiting for stuff. You're waiting on something that's been waiting on you.

Okay. So, in um Got to put my glasses back on. Like, why can't I see? Why can't I see? Put your glass. Okay, got it. Amazing. It's amazing how that works. Okay, so um the uh it's time for Abram. Abram's getting old. He's getting ready to die fairly soon. Um and then he goes to his servant Eleazar. He's like his butler. And Eleazar, he says, "Here's what I want you to do. Don't you take a wife for my son from these heathen." He said, "You go back and you find a wife for my son from my kins people." Okay, I'm going. So, he prayed a prayer. Go, you go read Genesis chapter 24 yourself. You The whole thing is beautiful. He says, "Lord, if just just give me favor. I'm going to stop at this well and I'm going to ask for some water and the per if the girl who comes by says I'll give you water and your father just I'll know that's the one. So Rebecca comes says man you know could you get me some water out of this well? Oh I'll get water for you and for your camels. Who are your people? Oh Laban blah blah blah. Oh really? Okay cool. So then he go not Laban's Laban's her brother. Um, so he tells them who her people are and he goes and he tells them the story about and I'm going tells them the story about, "Look, here's the deal. My master's getting old. He's wellstricken in years. He's got a son and my master is very, very rich. God has blessed him in great ways. And my master is going to leave everything he has to his son. But he sent me here to find a wife for a son." and I prayed and your daughter came by and she did everything I asked the Lord to have her do and I that's why I know she's the one. And so, so he says, here's what um in verse number chapter 24 and verse number 22, it says, "And it came to pass as the camels had done drinking that the man took a golden earring of a half shekele and two bracelets for her hands and 10 shekels in weight and said, "Whose daughter art thou?"

Now, what was he doing? He was proving to he he was proving first and foremost at the well that to the girl that my master is rich. I'm going give you more jewelry than you can afford to buy. And then we get down to verse number 35 and it says, "Now he's talking to her family and he says, 'And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly and he has become great and have given him flocks and herds and silver and gold and men servants and maid servants and camels and asses. And Sarah, my master's wife, bare him a son, bare a son to my master when she was old. And unto him he hath given all that he has." And it says um all that he have. And my master made me swear, thou shalt not take a wife unto my son or the daughters of Canaanites in whose land I dwell, but thou shalt go to my father's house and to my kindred and take a wife to my son. And so he goes and he takes a wife to her son. And then we get down to verse 53 and it tells us what he did to prove verse 53. Um, I'm going to start with verse 51. Behold, Rebecca be uh is before thee. Take her, go, let her master's, let her be be thy master's wife, son's wife, as the Lord hath spoken. And it came to pass that when Abram's servant heard the words, he worshiped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth. Now watch this. Verse 53. And the servant brought forth the jewels of silver and jewels of gold and reignment, and gave them to Rebecca. And he gave also to her brother and her mother precious things. Huh?

So the third time we see gold mentioned, we see it mentioned as proof of God's blessing on God's people. I had a lady in my brother's church when I was the assistant pastor. I was assistant pastor for about 15 years, but I didn't take a salary because I had businesses that were successful. And so there was a lady who was a real estate agent. She said to me, she said, she said, "My want to ask you a question." "Yeah, what's up?" She said, "Why do you always talk about business and money?" I said, "Because I don't want to misrepresent Christ in the marketplace. I don't want to go around telling everybody I serve an abundant God and then I'm living handtomouth because that's misrepresentation and I don't want to misrepresent Christ." There are other ways to misrepresent Christ, but a lot of folk in the church miss that one. #just saying.

So, this is the last one I'm going to mention before I Is is this helpful? Praise God. Praise God. Okay. Because I don't want to just be up here. Okay. So, so not the last time, but one of the last times it's mentioned. And by the way, this is the only time we see gold mentioned in connection even a little bit with somebody who's not a child of God in the whole book of Genesis. And it says in Genesis 41:42, mind-blowing. 41:42. Here's what it says. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand and put it on Joseph's hand and arrayed him in vesters of fine linen and put a gold chain about his neck. I literally had somebody comment on one of my videos, "Yeah, I like this ser I liked his sermon." It wasn't even a sermon. It was a Bible study because I don't really preach. I just teach the Bible. I'm like I get a little worked up sometimes. But okay, but he said, "Yeah, I like the sermon, but I don't like those rings he wears." Like, what? What does that have to do with anything? You don't like my rings? I ain't making you wear them. Okay, so the last time we see gold mentioned, one of the last times, it's not the last time. just one more time when when um when Joseph put Benjamin's gold back in his sack, but that was the both also God's people. The provision for God's people. Now, that one's amazing.

Um, I got to get rid of this jacket because I'm hot, but I can't get Okay, my glasses are Thank you, bro. I'm hot. I knew I was going to get warm. Um, so I overheat easily. So, the last that last one's amazing because that is a mindblowing principle because it answers the question that is probably in some of your minds right now, which is if God put wealth on the earth for his people, why are so many of God's people broke and so many evil people are rich?

That's a good question. Right. So, I don't have time to teach that tonight, but I'm going to answer that question. I'm going to answer the question why God has ordained, not allowed, ordained that evil people get rich. Would y'all like to know?

Yes. So, there's a book that was written by the wisest, wealthiest man who ever lived. What was his name?

Solomon. King Solomon. And he wrote a book about wisdom. What was it called? And then he wrote a book about foolishness. Which one was that?

Ecclesiastes. That's right. So the book, unless you understand the theme of the book of Ecclesiastes, you can't understand hardly any of the verses. So would you like me to share with you the theme of the book of Ecclesiastes? Okay. I'm going to share with you the theme of the book of Ecclesiastes. If you live your life for life under the sun, you've wasted your life and tortured yourself. That's the whole theme of the book of Ecclesiastes. You know, it keep saying all is vanity and vexation of spirit. It's not saying everything is a waste and everything is torture. It's just saying if you live your life or life under the sun, everything is a waste and everything is torture. So if you live your life temporally, what you spend your whole life doing is sacrificing the long term on the altar of the short term, sacrificing tomorrow on the altar of today, sacrificing eternity on the altar of time, which is a very foolish thing to do. And you've wasted your life and tortured yourself. See, Solomon when he was young was yielded to God and God gave him wisdom. Solomon in the middle of his life forgot where his wisdom came from and he backslid. But at the end of Solomon's life, he repented. How do I know he repented? Because the last two verses in the book of Ecclesiastes says, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment and every secret thing." See, people make the mistake of thinking that just because you have money that money has to have you. It doesn't. Money is a tool. It's not a It's not a craftsman. It's a tool. Okay.

So in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 2, Solomon tells us why God gave the sinners the ability to get rich. It's going to blow your mind. Some of y'all ain't even going to sleep tonight because it blew my mind. So here's what it says. It says in Ecclesiastes 2 verse 26, for God giveth to the man that is good in his sight wisdom and knowledge and joy. Okay, so you know what? I need to do this on the board. God giveth to the man that is good in his sight both wisdom and knowledge and joy. So that's cool. So God gives to the man that's good in his sight. So, we're going to do this. Okay. I'm going to change the color. Um, that one. Is that how you change it? I guess I changed it. Okay. So, good man. Okay. God gives to the man that is good in his sight. What does he give him?

Wisdom. Knowledge. Joy. and joy. Okay. Wisdom, knowledge, and joy. Then it says, "But now wait, no, no, no. We can't get to the center yet. We got to deal with but first." But now, he didn't say, "And to the sinner, did he?"

HE SAID, "BUT to the sinner." Which means whatever he's going to give the sinner, it ain't the same thing he's going to give to the man that's good in the sight. He about to give this sinner something different. So, so he but to the sinner to the sinner. So, we got we got the good man and then we got the sinner man. But to the sinner he giveth what? Travail hard labor.

Oh wow. to gather and to heap up. To do what? Heap up. Why does he give to the sinner? Travail, hard labor to gather and to heap up. By the way, this is the hustle. And this is the grind. To gather and to heap up. He gives to the sinner travail to gather and to heap up. Why? That he may give to him that is good before God. I didn't put that in the Bible. That was in my Bible when I got up this morning.

And guess what? We've seen it happen. The children of Israel were in bondage in Egypt for 400 years. And here's what the scripture says. Oh, even before that happened. God, Do you remember in Genesis chapter 15 when God put Abram to sleep? Yes. He's the Bible like if you read the Bible slow it will absolutely mess up your mind. It says and behold a deep sleep fell upon Abram and a horror of great darkness fell upon him. God put Abram to sleep and then started talking to him. No, I'm not talking about like preachers do. Preachers start talking to people and then put him to sleep. That ain't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about God put him to I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I just want to see if y'all still paying attention. Gam put him to sleep and started talking to him. Now, what kind of sense does that make? WHY YOU HEY, WHY YOU GOING TO GIVE SOMEBODY PUT SOMEBODY UNDER holy anesthesia and then give him a whole big old speech, a dissertation? What are we doing? What we What we doing? Abra God said, "Yeah, well, you know, I'm g I'm I'm I'm going to bless you and and I mean then I'm g your families then your descendants are going to go into a land that's not theirs and they're going to torment them for 400 years and then I'm going to bring them out." Abram didn't hear a word. But he didn't say he was going to bring them out. He told him how he's going to bring them out. I'm gonna bring them out with great substance. You know what's fascinating to me, pastor, and maybe you've thought about this before, maybe you haven't, but people I say, well, Egypt is a type of the world, and then the crossing of the Red Sea is a type of salvation. You're coming out of the world, like when the children of Egypt came out of bondage, that's a type of coming to Christ, blah, blah, blah. Okay, but they came out with great substance.

I It's a pattern. Okay, y'all y'all with me? Okay. So, it's it's it's it's kind of mindblowing that God gave Egypt 400 years of wealth, travail, gathering, heaping up. and they're getting ready to let their slaves go worship in the wilderness. And they gave them all their gold, all their jewels. They gave them so much. When when Moses took up an offering for the tabernacle, he had to tell the people to stop giving. Here's what he said. Here's what he said. It is enough and too much. Is Are there any pastors in here? Are there any pastors in here? Okay, let me ask you a question, pastor. How many times have you taken up an offering and had to stop? Nah, y'all done gave too much. No, we ain't. NO, STOP IT. STOP IT. When was the last time that happened? I'm just Okay. So, I don't even know what I don't even know what time it really is. I'm looking at Eastern time.

You're good. The pastor The pastor said I'm good. Y'all if y'all good, let me hear y'all say I'm good. Okay. No, I want to hear you say you good. I know I'm good. I'm all right. I'm all right. I'm I'm teaching the Bible. This is my thing. This is the thing I love to do. Okay, y'all track them. Okay. So So brought him out with great substance. The blessing of the blessing of Abraham. I God's original design for wealth was for his people. God never ordained that his people be poor. Jesus said you the poor you shall have with you always. Well, if they with me then they ain't me. They with me. He didn't say you going to be poor. He said the poor you will have with you. He didn't tell me I go. He didn't say I was you're going to be the poor with somebody. No, that ain't what he said. It's not a sin to be poor, but it's it's not fun.

Okay. So, I'm going to read a passage to you, one more passage, then I'm going to teach y'all something really, really cool about money that will change your life because it changed mine. Like, can I tell you how to receive this before I say it?

Yes. Okay, don't jump to the conclusion that the reason I'm saying this is because I have plenty of money. Because the reality is maybe it will be a good idea for you to entertain the possibility that maybe I have a lot of money because I believe this. Okay. I can't think of anything that's expensive. I I don't think y'all understood what I just said. I can't think like the concept of expensive. I shouldn't even call it a concept because it's not even a real concept. It's a construct. The con the construct of expensive. Like when somebody says expensive, my brain glitches. I'm going to show you why though. I'm gonna show you why my brain glitches. I promise you it'll make sense to you. I promise you when I show you why my brain glitches when somebody uses the word expensive. So, so I'm going to tell you a story before I go into this Bible verse because I think it'll be ri there. Remember the pastor said he wanted me to come in September but I couldn't come in September. The reason I couldn't come in September is because the 25th of August is my anniversary. My wife and I our anniversary. Well, the 25th of August 2025 was our 40th anniversary because we got married in 1985. And so last year,

I told my wife, I said, "Baby, when we for our 40th anniversary, I'm going to take you on a trip around the world. We going to be gone for 30 days." Now, if I had thought about it, it's 40th anniversary. It should have been 40 days. What was I doing? Like, I should just be getting back. But no, I guess I should have taken algebra. Okay.

Anyway, so we're going on a trip around the world. So, we're going to go. So, here's the plan. All paid for in advance. I paid for all of it in advance. We're going to the DR because I love the Dominican Republic. Me, too. It's magnificent. And the golf courses are heavenly. So, DR, spend four days there. Then, we're going to go Lisbon, Portugal. We're going to spend four days there. Then, we're going to go to Spain, spend four days there. Then we're going to go to Italy, spend three days there. Then we're going to go to Dubai, spend three days there. Then we're going to go to Cape Town, spend four days there. Then we're going to go on an African safari, one camp for two days, another camp for two more days. Then we're going to go to Johannesburg and stay there for four days. And then we're going to fly on Emirates first class to come back home on go to Dubai and then to Orlando or in a plane where we have our own bedroom. It's going to be great.

Okay, y'all tracking. So we get to the DR. We had a blast. We get on a plane. We go to the airport to get on a plane. I don't fly commercial unless I'm flying overseas. That was my rule. So, we flew to do we flew to the Dominican on American Airlines. The other name for American Airlines is we will inconvenience you at our convenience airlines. That's the name of all of them. American, Southwest, Delta, United, all of them. We will inconvenience you at our convenience airlines. Okay.

Anyway, so so flew to flew to coming back. Our flight was delayed. We're flying to Philadelphia to make a connection to fly to Lisbon. The flight was delayed so long that we missed our connection. So now I don't want to miss another Well, you can fly out tomorrow night, but you can't fly first class. I didn't spend a year planning for a vacation to fly on the back of a plane sitting between whoever, right? No. So, I got my travel agent to buy us another ticket on British Airways, but we're going to fly to JFK tomorrow. And so, I hired a car, drive us to New York from Philadelphia, had lunch in Phil, had lunch in New York. It was great at this private really super private club that one of my friends who's a billionaire, he's a member there. He's like, just go there, tell them I sent you, and they're just gonna like treat you like royalty. Okay? Like, it was it was wild. And so we do that. Go to the airport. British Airways. Our flight's delayed. Okay, cool. We will inconvenience you at our inconvenience airlines.

I usually keep our passports in my briefcase, but I have them in my pocket because I kept having to show them. I had them in my pocket in my jacket. And we had our own bedroom suite on this plane. And so I lay down, open my bed up. I go to sleep because you're flying overnight. My passports fell out of my pocket, but I didn't know it. The flight gets there late. My other flight, I got a 45-minute window to catch this flight. And I always use a wheelchair to get from gate to gate. And the guy who comes gets me in the wheelchair says, "Well, we can't get you to the gate because you're not going to make your next flight." No, I'm going to make my next flight. I took all my stuff, threw it in the wheelchair, and me and my wife just hustled as fast as we could to get to the gate. We get to the gate and I realize I don't have my passports.

Now, you would think, so you would think that this request makes sense. Could you call the other gate? We're 20. They're still there. Could you call the other gate and tell them I lost my passport in my seat? Could they bring it to me? We'll have them check the whole plane, sir. They don't need to check the whole plane. I wasn't on the whole plane. I don't even know what was I don't even know that there was a whole plane. I cannot prove that there was a whole plane. I didn't see it. I was sitting in the first room on the plane. 1K one. You don't even have to go to two. One. Nope. No. We have we have a process for this. We're going to check the whole plane. Don't you want my name? Don't you want my seat number? No. We just check the whole This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.

So, they wouldn't do it. So, they didn't find my passports. We spend the day in the airport waiting for them to find our passports. They don't. They tell us, "Well, you'll be able to go down to immigration and get some paperwork." And I'm telling you the story for a reason, by the way, not just to tell you what happened in my vacation and to tell you why I wasn't here last month.

So, so we go downstairs. We wait on immigration. They said, "Well, they'll give you some paperwork. You can go into town, spend the night at a hotel, and then, you know, go to the embassy and get a passport and fly home on Monday to get another pass." Okay. Okay. Cool. We'll do we'll do that. because you can't get a we had a vacation to go from country to country to country. If they would have given us emergency passport, you can't use an emergency passport for that. You can only use an emergency passport to get back home. Don't you know we got down there said, "Oh, no, you can't leave an airport." They didn't say it like that. They said it with a British accent. That made it worse because now I feel patronized. Oh, you we can't let you leave the Apple. We'll have to we'll have to put you with custody and care. We're going to put you in detention. They put us in a detention room. There ain't no bed in the detention room chairs. They got some mats. I ain't laying on those mats and they deported us the next morning. Yeah.

Well, that's I mean that wasn't fun, right? That was not fun. But I had a plan. My travel agent set up an appointment for me to go to Miami on Wednesday. We're flying home on Sunday. We'll get home Sunday night. We'll get home Sunday morning. Monday, wash the clothes that were dirty and then repack and then Tuesday go to Miami. Marcus drove us to Miami and then we'll go get passports and then we'll fly to Spain because we already missed Portugal, right? But there's a problem. We can't find any direct flights without connections. And I'm not doing that connection thing on we will inconvenience you at our convenience airlines anymore. We can't find one. So, how are we going to get to Spain? Because that's where our trip takes us. All the rest of our plane tickets are Spain to Italy, Italy, Dubai, Dubai. Where we got to get to Spain? Oh, I'll charter a jet. That's what I'll do. I'll charter a jet. Nine-hour flight. It was $108,000.

Now, I'm not telling you that to show off. I'm not telling you that to brag. I promise you I'm not. I don't need you to think anything about me at all. Right? Nothing. But I'm I'm I'm I'm showing you how my brain works. 108 Oh my goodness. $18,000 just to go for oneway ticket. No, that's a lot, I guess. But now, because I have a jet, a G5. I called my daughter. I said, "Baby, you and your husband and your daughter, y'all want to go with us to Spain? We got a whole plane. It's just me and your mama. Y'all want to go to Spain?" Yeah, let's go to Spain. So now my daughter and my granddaughter and my son-in-law, they get to fly to Spain with us. And then we, me and my granddaughter, playing skip and go fish on the plane. And she's talking trash like she'd been doing it her whole six-year-old life. Okay. One of the most fun experiences of my life. And then we get to Spain. Me and John play golf while we're in Spain. We hang out for a couple days in Spain. And then we leave to go to Dubai. and they leave and go spend like five, six, seven, eight days in France.

So, a lot of people, how in the world? Oh my goodness, $8,000. You know why? Because we have been programmed to value money and devalue time because they told us the lie that time is money. And so we will waste a lot of time to save a little bit of money. Am I talking too fast? And then we'll sell a whole bunch of our time for a little bit of somebody else's money because we value money more than we value time. But I'm going to tell you something about rich people. Now, would y'all like to know something about rich people? We value time way more than we value money. I know how to fix my own car, but I don't do it. There's nothing that can break in my house that I can't fix. But there's nothing that breaks in my house that I do fix. Why? My time is too valuable. It's not because I'm a hot shot. If I all I got to do is coach one client for an hour. It's $40,000. What is going to break in my house is going to cost me more than $40,000 an hour to fix? Nothing. Okay.

So, you are tracking. Now, I'm going to read this. I told y'all that whole story so I could read this story to you in the Bible. And then I'm going to show you this framework. I And I don't What time is it? I don't even I literally don't know what time it is. Is Is it really 8:53 p.m.? Do Do I need to stop, pastor? Because I do. You want me to pick up tomorrow? Oh, turn the clock off. Oh, don't tempt me with a good time. Okay. Turn the clock off. Okay. No, I I didn't even see the clock until just now. Okay.

So, so y'all ready? Genesis chapter 17. No. Yeah. Uh, Genesis chapter 20. Genesis chapter 21. 17. 17. Genesis chapter 17. I think it is. Pretty sure it's Yeah, it's Genesis chapter 17. It is chapter 17. So, Genesis chapter 17. And I'm going to start reading with verse number 14. I think it is. Um, nope, that's not it. Nope, it's 21. I know it was one of them. Okay, verse 14.

So, I got to tell you, so what happens is Abram and Sarah are waiting on God to give them his child. He doesn't do it in their time frame. So Sarah comes up with this bright idea. She says, "Baby," Aram says, "Yeah, baby." He says, She says, "Um, I'm old. You old. Like I passed my seeds a long time ago. So I got an idea. What's your idea? You know that pretty little handmade we got in there, Hagar? Yeah. Yeah. Just go have a baby with her. We'll raise him like he's our own. Abram said, "You sure, baby?" Okay.

I And I know y'all think I'm trying to be funny, but I'm not. What I'm doing is I'm attempting to show you that people were people then, too. And it reminds me of something my wife's grandmother told me a long time ago. She said, "I'm going to tell you something. Same thing will make you laugh or make you cry." And so Abram was all happy to go listen to his wife and sleep with his handmade has a son. Abram loves this. Can you imagine not being able to have a son for decade? Not being able to have a child for decades. You have a son finally. You don't care that it's by your handmmaid, not your wife. You don't. This is my son. I finally have a son. My name finally means something. And then Sarah finally has her son. By the way, y'all do understand the mystery of the second born. Right. Right. The firstborn represents the first Adam. The second born represents the second Adam. The firstborn represents the flesh life. The second born represents the spirit life. Any that's anyway I I'm sorry I geek out too much and I I'm I'm going to stay on track. I'm going to not chasing any more rabbits. Okay, my stay focused, son. Stay focused. I got up at 5 this morning. I'm a little I'm a little loopy because I'm a little tired. So that's we're gonna blame it on that. Okay.

So So Sarah sees Hagar's son, Maki. Now, my guess would be she saw him mocking her son. Why? Cuz you know how mamas are with their boys. Can I get a witness? I don't understand it. It doesn't make any sense to me. But babe, but he's crying. He's supposed to cry. HE'S A BOY. BUT HE HURT HIMSELF. HE'S SUPPOSED TO HURT HIS KNEE. He is a boy. The way he turns into a man is to hurt his knee. Okay, y'all. Okay, y'all try. Anyway, so so she says she goes to Abram and said, "I am not going to have that woman's child growing up in the same house of mine and having inheritance with my child. Send them out." And the and Abram was crushed. It says in verse 12, "And God's um uh verse 11, the thing was very grievous in Abram's sight because of his because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, "Let it not be grievous in thy sight, because of the lad, and because of thy bond woman, in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice, for in Isaac shalt thou see see be called." It's almost like God is saying, "Well, you listened to her before, listen to her again." Okay? And also, the son of the bomb woman will I make a nation because he is thy seed. And Abraham arose up early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave to Hagar putting it on her shoulder and the child and sent her away. A bottle of water and a loaf of bread and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersha. Now in America when we hear wilderness, we think forest. No, this ain't this ain't no forest. This is the desert. Okay, which is why she didn't put him under a tree. She put him under a shrub. It was the desert.

Abram rose up early in the morning, took bread, bottled water, gave it to Hagar, put it on her shoulder and the child, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersa. And the water was spent in the bottle. And she cast the child under one of the shrubs. And she went and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot. For she said, "Let me not see the death of the child." What's he going to die from? Thirst in the desert h Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him and lifted up her voice and wept. Do you know how mama cries when she thinks her son's about to die, right? That kind of cry. And then it says something that just kind of doesn't fit almost. And God heard the voice of the lad, and the angel of God called unto Hagar, and said unto her, What ath thee, Hagar? Now, I have a question for the angel. What kind of question is that? We got a woman in the desert with a child and an empty water bottle, and you're asking what's bothering her. How many of y'all know if the angel of the Lord asked, "What's your problem? He has a good reason. Maybe he knows something you don't know." What you cry about, Hagar? I mean, really, the question seems odd if you don't keep reading. But if you keep reading, the question makes perfect sense. What hail is he, Hagar? Fear not, for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. And I love that it says that he heard the voice of the lad. So while mama was crying, the son was praying because Abraham taught his son how to pray. Okay. God heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, hold him in thine hand, for I will make him a great nation.

I want you to notice these next five words. Mind-blowing. And God opened her eyes. Wait, what? And God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. Time out. If God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water, what does that tell us about the well of water? It didn't say, "And God digged a well." It said, "And God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. and she went and filled the bottle with water and gave the lad drink." I want you to notice something. God opened her eyes. She couldn't see the well of water in front of her eyes because of the water that was welling up in her eyes. Why was water welling up in her eyes? The water was welling up in her eyes because she was looking at the bottle and she couldn't see the well. Now, I I'm not sure, but I think in most cases, since the beginning of time, wells hold more water than bottles. I'm just pretty sure that's kind of how it works. The bottle's empty, but the well is full. And I am here to tell you this evening in Omaha, Nebraska that if you have an empty bottle, that does not mean you have an empty well. Yes, sir. And maybe you've been so focused on the well, I mean on the bottle that you can't see the well.

Now, what does the what does the bottle represent? The bottle represents what's missing. The bottle represents lack. There is a principle. Well, I'm I'm going to make a statement tonight. I'm sorry that I t teach so slow. No. Okay. Okay. Don't be sorry. But I don't like the rush truth because we have too many short piffy answers that are not truisms that aren't true. So we want to know why. I want to know why. Okay. Stop focusing so hard on what's missing that you keep missing what's already there. ain't you glad the Bible's practical? Yes. Man, so I'm going to I'm going to do this last thing. This is the illustration I want to give you. Remember I said remember I said like ex what's that? Remember I said that um like I don't I don't I don't I can't comprehend I can't I know it sounds this sounds like crazy talk. I know like I'm saying and I'm thinking to myself, why are you saying this to these people? Because it's real. Like this is how I really live my life. Like I cannot process the whole idea of expensive. But I'm going to tell you why. I'm going to tell you why poor people and middle class people feel like everything's expensive. I'm going to show you why. Everybody ready? Yes. And and when I get done with this, I'm going to be done for tonight. But tomorrow, we're going to pick up right where we left off. Okay.

So, here's why. Okay. What am I going to use? Oh, yeah. That's good. That's good. Okay. So, um this is you don't know this yet, but you're going to find out this week. That's a very cattywampus man, but it's okay. So, this is you. You are the resource. This will make sense in a minute. I spelled resource wrong. No, that's not Oh, with my finger. Shut up. Let's go. Okay. Let's go. Look at that. I'll fix this dude. He was He was driving me crazy. Okay, so resource. Okay. So, you are the resource, but as the resource, you have an asset. The asset that you've been programmed to use to get money is your time. That's right. Time. Now, so what you do is you sell some time. And when you sell some time, then you get some what? Money. And then when you get some money, then you can go buy the thing you want, right? So, let's say the thing you want is a car. This is why the rich get richer and the poor get poor. This is the real reason. Okay? So, you go buy the car and so you you go out and you work and you spend this time to get this money. Now, once you spend the time to get the money, let me ask you a question. Once you spend the time to get the money, do you still have the time you used to get the money? No. It's gone. You never get it back. It's gone forever. So now you've just traded a limited resource for a I'm not a limited resource, limited asset. You traded a limited asset for a depreciating asset. Okay? Because it's a depreciating asset because money becomes worth less over time. Does that make sense? Because of inflation and taxes. Okay, perfect. Then you trade your depreciating asset for a depreciating liability. And then eventually this depreciating liability becomes worth nothing. So the reason poor people and middle class people feel like everything is expensive is because they pay for everything with money they've exchanged their time for. And so when you look at the price of something, you think you're thinking about it in terms of how much money it costs. What you're really thinking of subconsciously is how much time it costs. And so what happens is that when you look at a $100,000 car and you make $100,000 a year, you're asking yourself, is this worth a year of my life plus interest? When you look at a half a million dollar house, you're saying, is this worth five years of my time life plus interest? And so and and and and the unfortunate part is when you make money this way, you never get it back. And so basically, if you live your life like this, and I I I don't want to sound condescending, and I don't mean it this way, but I really want to this is a wakeup call, okay? What you're really doing if you live like this and you continue to live like this without attempting to do it God's way, then what's going to happen is you're actually perpetually turning your life into more nothing. I'm I'm not being condescending. Do y'all Can y'all feel that I'm saying this because I love you? Like I want I would love for all of you to live this way. That'd be amazing. Okay.

So to live what way? That's a great question. So I'm going to show you how God set it up from the very beginning. This is how this was God's original design for how you supposed to make money. How do I know? Because well, it's in the Bible. Okay. So we're going to go back to we're going to start with um we're going to start with this. Um this is God. God is not a resource and he's not an asset. God is the source. The source of what? Everything. God's the source of everything. I am made in his image. I'm made in the image of God, which means I am the resource. Y'all tracking? Yes. Now, here's what's amazing. What part of me is made in the image of God? What ain't my body? My body's not made in the image of God, right? So, what is made in the image of God? Well, what's made in the image of God in me is my creativity. How do I know that? Because God is love. God is righteous. God is holy. But that's not the first thing he told us about himself. What's the first thing he tells? God tells us about God. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Why do he say that? Well, well, let me ask you this. Why do you think he did that? I like that plagued me. I'm like, why would God create heaven and earth? He doesn't need anything. Oh, because he is creative and therefore it is his nature to create. So God creates as an expression of his creativity. The first thing he tells about himself is that he's creative. The first thing he tells about us is that he created us in his image, which means he created us to create stuff and he made us to make make stuff. So what I do is I take the part of me that's like God and it's not like a star like the sun, but I have this thing called creativity. And so to me, nothing feels expensive because creativity is my infinite asset. What do I mean infinite asset? Like if I use creativity, if I use my creativity to create something, do I still have creativity? Oh, so it's not it doesn't it's not it's not it's not depleting. It's not evaporating. This is so good. And so poor people and middle class people pay for things with money they've exchanged their time for. But rich people, we pay for things. Do not miss this. According to our creativity. Very good. According to not with our creativity. I don't pay for things with my creativity because if I did that, I wouldn't have any more creativity. I pay for it with my creativity. My creativity would be gone. I don't even pay for it out of my creativity. because then I'd have less creativity after I created something. Are y'all tracking? I don't pay for it from my creativity. I pay for it according to my creativity. Now, what made me realize this is because there's a verse in the scripture that says, "My God shall supply all your need, according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus." Why does it say according to? Because if it says according to, when he supplies our need, he has no less supply than he had before he supplied our needs. So I I literally pay for things according to my creativity. So what I do what I do I use my creativity to create an asset. Now the asset that I create might be in the form of some intellectual property like a book. So now this book I wrote 19 years ago. How many years ago? 19. This book sells for $20 on my website plus9 $9.99 shipping and handling. Please don't buy it on Amazon. You'll probably pay $75 for it or $175 or 300. Like it's crazy. People buy this book on my website and sell it on Amazon for more than I would ever even contemplate to sell it for because I don't sell it on Amazon. Well, why don't you sell it on Amazon? Because I don't want Amazon controlling my prices and I don't want Amazon getting my I don't want to generate customers for Amazon. Jeff Bezos has enough customers. I want to generate some customers for my granddaughter. Okay, y'all track it. So, $20. So, so then I get when I create the asset, the asset pays me money and then I use the money to go buy my depreciating liability. Okay? So, now I want you to watch what happens. This is why this is why I I can't contemplate expensive because it doesn't matter if I'm thinking about this bottle of water right here. This bottle of water, if I buy a bottle of water, it costs the exact same. It cost me the exact same amount as flying a private jet to Spain. What? No, that was $18,000. M. This is only dollar. No, no, no, no, no. Time out. I paid for both of those the same way. According to my creativity, I created an asset that I offered to the marketplace. I created an asset that I offered and that offer made me money. So, I create offers to pay for everything. This book that I wrote 19 years ago makes me between eight and 12,000 a month perpetually for work I did 19 years ago. And I know what you're thinking. But my it's only 8 to1 12,000 a month. I know, but it's 19 years ago. How much work you got from 19 years ago that's making you 8 to12,000 month. But why not? Here's why not. Because you didn't know you could. And you didn't know you should. Nobody ever gave you the idea, hey, I can do some work today and get paid on it for the rest of my natural life. And even after I'm dead. Yes. That's the point. Are y'all tracking? This book right here. I wrote this book four years ago. Four years ago, this book came out. It's 172 pages of pure juicy goodness. This is my financial literacy brain. This is how I think about money. This is how I think about business, right? And so, I wrote this book four years ago. This book sells for $30 plus $9.99 shipping and handling. Now, what's amazing, I had a guy who's one of my coaching clients. He's like, he's like, "Man, when I saw you were selling your book for $30 and charging $10 shipping and handling, I thought, who does he think he is? Everybody else gives their book away for free." Well, I'm not going to do what everybody else does. God gave me a brain, too. My brain told me not to do that. And then he said, "When I read on your website that this book contains exactly what you would teach somebody in a two-hour coaching session for $40,000 an hour, and I realized that there's $80,000 worth of coaching in this book for $30." I said, "Oh, well, that makes sense. Of course it does." But that book makes me about between 250 and $300,000 a year for work I did four years ago. Okay? Why am I telling you that? Because I pay for things according to my creativity.

Now, I'm gonna finish with this. Here's what's cool. You ready? God is the source. I'm the resource. God gave me some creativity. By the way, God gave all of us. God put an as the seed. God put the seed. Everybody say seed. God put the seed of an aspect of his creativity inside of all of us. He didn't put the same aspect inside of any of us, but he put an aspect. God is infinitely creative. He put one aspect or two aspect. He put an aspect of his creativity inside of each of us. And then I use my creativity to create an asset that I can offer. But when I create the asset, I still have the creativity. In fact, when I every time I create a new asset, I actually have more creativity. And then I create an asset and then eventually I have more assets. And so now I've got assets that pay me. And then the assets give me money. And yet I spend the money and I don't have the money anymore. And I spend the money and I don't have the money anymore. But it doesn't matter because the asset keeps doing what the asset does. And the asset keeps doing what the asset does because I create the asset once, but I get paid on it for the rest of my life. This is why the concept of expensive doesn't make sense to me because it doesn't matter what I buy, I'll pay for all of it the same way according to my creativity. And I am telling you that you have had a very deep well of creativity that God dug into your soul, but you've been so busy looking at what the world told you to look at as a bottle. Well, this is what I know how to do. This is my profession. This is my brother. That's just a bottle. And so you cannot see the well of water because you're too busy looking at the empty bottle. And so my challenge to you tonight is when you go back to your house or you go back to your Airbnb or you go back to your room, pray and ask God to open your eyes and show you the well of water that is Here.
