[Music] On the day I called for help, you answered me. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Alleluia. Nothing less than that, brothers and sisters. A relationship with the living God. Amen.
And you know, we must be very careful in our beautiful Catholic Church, the one true Church that Jesus founded, because we have so many gifts, you see, and so many wonderful structures, you might say. And even the Code of Canon Law is a gift. And yet, what can happen is that you and I become centered on secondary things and forget the primary thing. Everything in the Catholic Church, all the structures, all the dogmas and the doctrines, and all the sacramentals and the prayers, the hierarchy, it's all pointing to one thing: get ye into the heart of God. Amen. None of you make sense without that. The very center is that you and I enter into the heart of the Most Holy Trinity and there unite with Him. Amen. And we have to keep that in mind because without that, the whole thing is boring. That the whole thing falls down. He came, beloved, to be united with us in nothing less than a marriage vow. Amen. Isn't that amazing? You could say, "I'm married to God." You are indeed. He is our spouse. Amen. And by the way, that's doctrinal, isn't it? It's scriptural. That Saint Paul even tells us in Sacred Scripture that marriage itself, matrimony, is a symbolism of the wedding of Jesus, the God-man, with the Church. Amen. Hallelujah.
Well, I love, in particular, beloved, these kinds of psalm verses: "Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me." But now, would you say this after me? But say it, you know, with oomph. Say it from your gut. Would you say this after me: "Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me." Say yes. Beautiful. "Lord, on the day I called, you answered me. You love me. You're beautiful. You're awesome. You will always answer me. I hit the jackpot." Amen. Didn't we hit the jackpot?
Now, here's an example. Let me give you an example here, maybe even two. But here's an example of how, on the day that I called for help, He answered me. Can I give you an example that happened in my travels this time in Mexico? Is that okay? This is what happened. I was leading a pilgrimage of my good parishioners from Belize. I was a missionary priest in Belize for many years, which is, you know, right next to Mexico and Guatemala and Honduras. And we were traveling from Belize through Mexico to Guadalajara, where there was the International Eucharistic Congress some years ago. So we took a bus from Belize into Mexico, then we took a smaller plane, and then another plane to get all the way to Guadalajara. So at one of the airports, it was in, I believe, it was in Chetumal, in southeast Mexico. We were there getting ready to board our plane to Mexico City. And I had, I believe, about 45 pilgrims with me from my, my parishes in Belize. And we were there, lined up, and they were spitting out, you know, our tickets from the computer, and they called them out, and everyone getting their tickets. But it turns out, as they were giving out the tickets, that one of my parishioners, her name wasn't called. And so we had at least 45 of us there, plus myself, but there was not a ticket for Miss Julia. It was kind of funny. She was like the shortest of all of us, the shortest one. And she was a quite a smart gal. She was an RN, and she was definitely a part of our pilgrimage, but she was left out.
Now, I know, just a little aside, that when we get left out of something, there's a reason. Don't get upset, will you? Knock it off. We all get left out now and then. So God may be testing you, you see what I mean? And seeing, do you have enough faith? That is divine love for you, that even when you get left out, let's say everyone gets a bowl of ice cream but you, and you don't cry, you remain firm in your faith, saying, "The chocolate chip ice cream might come tomorrow." You remain strong in your faith that He still loves me despite persecution. When you remain strong in His love, then your love grows. Amen. So when you do get left out of something, do your best not to get angry, you know what I mean, or vengeful or mean. God has allowed it for a reason. He's trying to make you into a saint. Give me a break. Amen. So Julia got left out. I know there were reasons for that.
So my people, they all had their tickets. They were getting right, they're boarding the plane. And so the people in charge, they were hurrying us on. And they, they all went through, you know, the security, and went through to go through that door, and now all over the other side, and they're back getting to me, my people. And they say, "Come on, Father, come on, you're going to miss the plane." And I said, "Well, Julia doesn't have a ticket." He said, "Come on, Father, but we need you. You can't stay behind." And then the young man behind the desk, working for the airlines, he agreed with him. He said, "Father, you better, you better listen to your people. You better go with them. Better get on that plane now. It's about to take off." I said, "Well, I, I can't. I need to make sure that Julia has a ticket." And my people are saying, "Come on, Father." And I, I told them, "No, you go on. I'm going to stay with Julia." Now, you know what I mean? A priest is a shepherd, right? How could I leave one behind and go with 99? I'd be reversing the Gospel, wouldn't I? So I said, "You go on. I do my job. I just stay with my little sheep, right? Isn't that right?" So I stayed with her. "You go, go on."
Well, the young man behind the counter got mad at me. I don't know why he got mad, but he started chastising me. So I mean, he's like 30 years younger than me, he's chastising me in public. And he said, "Father, get on that plane. You, you don't care about Julia. I got to get on that plane because I have a ticket." He says, "Now listen, if they're going to close that door in one minute, and when they do, it's against federal law to open it once they close that door. You got to get on the plane now. Listen, no one has ever gone on that plane once that door is closed. You got to go now." I said, "I, I've got to stay with my, thank you, I've got to stay with my parishioner." He got really flustered at me. And sure enough, they all went on the plane, and they closed that steel door, and that was it. And I'm there with Julia. And Julia is so grateful because I know, even though she's a tough little girl, tough lady, I know that she was secretly frightened, you know what I mean, to be left behind in a foreign country. So I was standing there with her. The door is closed now. They're all on the plane. And Julia was wondering, "What are we going to do?" He says, "Well, we can catch another flight. But let's try something. Julia, give me your hands."
So we're there in the airport, right near the counter. And I took Miss Julia's hands and I began to pray with her. And I said, "Lord Jesus, we need Your help. We're kind of stuck, and I don't have any more money to buy any new tickets either." And of course, what's going through my mind is today's scripture verse: "Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me." Amen. I don't care where you are or what it is. If you call for help, He's going to answer you. Amen. I don't care where you are, even if you made a boo-boo and you're in the wrong place, cry for help and He'll rescue you. Amen. I don't care where you are or what you've done. You say, "Jesus, I'm a big fat sinner, forgive me and now rescue me too." Amen. He's beautiful, isn't He? The Lord says, "Challenge me, and I'll prove to you My love." Amen. So challenge your beautiful Jesus. He wants to be involved in your life. Amen. We don't call upon Him enough, and that's why we don't see miracles. Begin today. Pray for a miracle today. Amen. Because when you get one, you have faith to pray for the second one. It starts getting bigger and bigger. Amen.
So I took Julia's hands and I prayed. And they're holding her little hands, and we're praying. And there's the counter over there. And [Music] "Jesus, we need You to help us. Would You do something?" Right then, when I said that prayer with Julia, a lightning bolt came out of the sky, and the whole airport became overcast on a bright, sunny, burning hot day in Mexico. I'm not kidding you. Everyone saw it. Boom! And Julia jumps. And I look at Julia and I go like this. [Laughter] Amen. Hallelujah. And I'm telling you why, the whole place became dark in the middle of the day. And Mexico has a lot of bright, hot, sunny days, very few rainy days. Everything's overcast. That lightning bolt came down, and I heard the announcement. It was like an emergency. They stopped all the planes on the tarmac. You could hear the announcement. You know, I know a little bit of Spanish, everything. And I could see, as I looked out the windows, that even our plane was just started taxiing down the driveway or the runway. It stopped. Our plane stopped. And no planes could land or take off. Everything stopped. And looking there, I'm looking at Julia, and I, I've been thinking this, "You're up to something, aren't You?" I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. You see, listen, when He's your best friend, you know, don't you? When your best friend winks at you, you know what He's up to, don't you? I knew He was up to something. So I'm looking at Julia, I'm looking outside. I know that God's at work again. When I notice walking down the hallway of the airport is a gentleman in a nice suit and a tie. And he's walking down. He has a little name tag on. He's walking this way. He just happens to see me there. You know, they have, you know, more piety sometimes in Central America, more respect for the priesthood. So he saw me as a priest. He said, "Padre, Padre, can I help you? Are you today? Can I help you?" "Give it to me." I said, "Yes, sir. I said, Miss Julia doesn't have a ticket, so we can't get it on our flight." He says, "Oh, okay. Let me help you." His sign said, he told me he was the president of the airport. I kid you not. That's what the tag said, and that's what he told me. So he, he's made the young man step aside, and he got there to the computer, went like this, the ticket popped her up in five seconds. There was her ticket. [Music] And he said, "Here you go, Julia. Here's your ticket." Then he turned to the young man in front of everyone and he said to the young man, "You get the golf cart, open the door, put Father and Julia on the golf cart and drive them out to the plane and put them on the plane." [Applause] He did it again. You did it again. He did it. He did it. Amen. Hallelujah. Are we blessed? Listen, that's your best friend. It's not just for me. That's for you too. Amen. That's for all of us. Not just for me, for all of us. He is our best friend. Amen. And beloved, that's not just theological or poetical or analogical. It's real. It's real. He wants a real friendship with you and I. Amen. You got to invite Him into your life. We got on that plane, which, by the way, according to the young man, had never happened once in the history of the airport, not even once. But see, I know the big boss. I know the boss of his boss, you see. We got on that plane on the tarmac. I mean, right there on the tarmac. When we get on, the whole plane explodes in applause. We sat down. As soon as we sat down and put on our seat belts, the sun came out again. Within seconds, the sun came out, and we took off. Alleluia. When I was in need, I called upon His name, and He answered me. Amen. Alleluia.
Could I give you one more example? That happened just a month ago. It's kind of fun when you serve Jesus, you see. And I always tell my good people, "Listen, are you bored? If you're bored, you're not following the same Jesus." Amen. I'm telling you right now, if you are bored, you are not living your Catholic faith because to live with Jesus, I mean, it's like jumping on a white stallion and running through the country. That's what it's like to follow Jesus. If you're not excited, there is something definitely wrong. Amen. Because He is not boring. I remember once, one of my sisters asked me years ago, she said to me, "Jimmy," she asked me about her husband. I won't say his name. She said to me, "Jimmy, do you think so-and-so," her husband, "do you think he's boring?" Now, you, you know that the marriage is in trouble when they have to ask you if their spouse is boring. You know there's trouble in the land. Amen. So I looked at her and I said, "Sis, no." I said, "I was trying to be as polite as I could be." I mean, because she was right on target. But he had a doctorate degree, by the way, a PhD, you know what I mean? Oh my gosh, that can make it even worse. So I said, "No, sis, no. He's not boring. He's bored." That's the Holy Spirit. Amen. I had to find a way to answer her honestly, but also give her some insight, you see. And that's the truth. There's no such thing as a boring person. There are only those who live their life in boredom. You were meant for great things. You were meant to be a saint. As one writer said, "The only tragedy of human life is not to become a saint." The only tragedy of life is not to become a saint. Amen. And each one of us was meant to shine forth with the radiance of God. And each one of us sort of shines forth a different virtue or aspect of God, right? Like Francis, what humility and poverty, right? But Thomas Aquinas, what brilliance, right? And the purity of a little boy, chastity. Each saint has their own brilliance. They all shine forth with God. You shine forth some aspect, virtue, or characteristic of God that I don't. We each shine forth with something beautiful. Amen. It's absolutely true, isn't it? Some are like long-suffering, like, can't see, like in Mother Teresa, the virtue of long suffering, about 40 years in darkness and still smiling. 40 years. Amazing, right? How about John Paul? He's sort of the light of the charismatic, the light of the Holy Spirit. He would radiate to all the nations. Amen. Each one of us has a virtue or a gift that we shine forth for God. The only tragedy is not to become a saint. Amen. And by the way, saints are amazing. They're beautiful, and they're marvelous. You were meant to be a saint. Amen. You have to grasp that today. The Eucharist is the bread of angels and the bread of saints. It's meant to transform you into a saint. Amen. Tell the Lord today, "Lord, scoot over on that saddle. I'm jumping on with You." Amen. Tell Him today, "You're going to become the saint He made you to be." Amen. Would you put your hand on your right, on your heart like this, and say, "Jesus, I was made to be a saint. I want to be a saint. Fill me with sainthood. I want to do Your will. Be my everything forever. Through Mary." Amen. Now, don't take it back. Don't take it back. Keep that amen.
Well, I have a lot, I have a lot of miracles at airports for some reason because I travel a lot, you know. I mean, wherever, if you're a baker, you'll have a, you will have a lot of miracles right there in the bakery. Depends where you are, you see what I mean. Which reminds me about the donuts. Don't you love donuts? Oh boy. My brother, Father Tony, he loves donuts. And let me tell you, he had, he had a miracle with donuts once. Did I tell you that? Ever tell you that story? So before I go on to my second airport story, let me tell you about my brother. We were at Madonna House in Canada, Father Tony and I, before we were priests. We traveled there from this country on foot to try to live by faith. So we traveled for months on foot with no money, with no ID. We just wanted to live like the Apostles, by faith. We made it all the way to Madonna House. And we're there, and it's kind of a rigorous way of life. They have a disciplined way of life. It's in the middle of winter, there's snow on the ground. And he and I are working outside every day in the snow. And my little brother said to me one day, he says, "You know what, Jim?" He says, "Man, you know, I really miss doughnuts." I mean, all we have like, you know, it's kind of a simple food, simple fare, nothing too tasty, you know what I mean? And he's like, "Boy, I, I wish I could have a doughnut." I said, "Well, Anthony, we'll pray for it." You know, pray, pray for a doughnut. And I remember, that reminds me of my favorite poem: "As you wander through life, my friend, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole." Amen. Hallelujah. "As you wander through life, my friend, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole." Amen. There's a lot of wisdom in that one, too, let me tell you. A lot of wisdom. You don't always aim directly for what you're going for. Trying to aim around it. Amen.
Well, my, I said, "Anthony, pray." So my brother prayed to a saintly priest named Father Eddie. Father Eddie Doherty, because he was, he was the spouse of Catherine Doherty, the founder of Madonna House, an Eastern Rite priest, and a rather saintly man. He had gone to his reward. My brother prayed to Father Eddie because he was known for his practical jokes. He was kind of a jokester, you know, like Saint Philip Neri. So Father Tony prayed to him and said, "Father Eddie, I need a doughnut. Could you please pray to Jesus and Mary to bring me some doughnuts?" And he actually prayed that. Well, that evening, we got all done with our work, and we're inside, like the big meeting hall. We have our dinner. At the end of dinner, there's usually community announcements, you know. It's like 250 people at least there, those who live there and those like my brother who were visiting. So they made the announcements, and then the gentleman, he says, "One more announcement. It's kind of unusual." He said, "Because, as you all know, we do, we receive shipments here of of food from different places." He says, "I don't know, it's never happened before, but um, today we got in um, a truckload of donuts." Dude, it's true. This has never happened before, but a truck came in from Montreal with a with a huge load of donuts. He says, "So they're in giant hefty bags, you know, like that 50-gallon size." He says, "And would every, every representative from every cabin, we all had our own houses, you see, across the property. So we need one representative from every cabin to come forward and take your hefty bag of doughnuts and bring it, bring it to your cabin." This must have been like, like 500 donuts in our bag. Alleluia. So, "Lord, when I am in desperate need, I call to You for help, and You answer me, even if it's donuts with jelly on top." Amen. Isn't it true? But doesn't every daddy do that? Do you just get your child what they need, or do you splurge on them every now and then? Come on, let's get a banana split, you and me, right? He's just like that, isn't He? In fact, we fathers, we were made in the image and likeness of the Heavenly Father. He made us after His own image. The reason we like to splurge on our kids is because He likes to splurge on His kids. Amen. He put that in us because He had it first. Amen. So the Lord says, "Don't be ashamed to ask for doughnuts, for extra things." Amen. Hallelujah.
Well, I'll tell you one more quick story before I go to the airport. One more funny little one, just a short one. I, when my mother was still on this earth, I used to love my beautiful mother. Her name was Maria. And my mom and I, and one of my nephews, Adam, we were, we went to go to a book signing in Tampa, Florida. My hometown. I was visiting. Went to a book signing because my cousin Johnny had written like a beautiful little book about the history of Tampa. He's a wonderful fellow. So Johnny had this book that's being published. We went to the book signing to support, you know, my cousin, my mother's nephew. And afterwards, you know, I'm about as poor as they come, and I don't have any money and no salary and no stipend. And I was thinking, because I know my mom and I know my cousin, it's like we've been there for several hours. We're in downtown Tampa. And you know, I know they're hungry, and it'd be nice to sit down and have a meal, you know what I mean? And we're Italian, so find a good Italian restaurant down there and have some spaghetti and maybe a glass of red wine. I was thinking, you know, like I was a millionaire or something like that. I wish we could like go do. And I don't have a cent to my name. And so I was thinking, you know, I see my beautiful, elderly mother, and my nephew Adam, and I said, "Oh Jesus, Jesus, if it's okay, would You do a miracle? I need some money for a good Italian meal." It just, it just moved my heart. And my mom looked so tired, and she had a walker, you know what I mean? She looked so tired. And my nephew Adam has had a rough time in his life. And I'm there with him, and I want to do something fun, you know what I mean? It can't all be serious. We got to have fun too. And I want to have a lunch with him. I don't have anything to my name. Lord, would You give me a miracle? I want to take them out to lunch somewhere. Show me, do something. Would You please? And so when I said that prayer, Johnny, my cousin, was all done, and we helped him bring the, the books into his car. He went to hug us to say goodbye to my mom and I and Adam. And Johnny said, "Oh, Jimmy, he says, oh, look, I forgot. I have a card for you here in my trunk. Mrs. So-and-so from that church over there, I saw her like, she said, give this to whenever I would see you. This is for you." And he gave me the card right then and took off. And I thought, "Bet you did it again. Bet you did it." And I slowly opened it, and it was a $50 bill. I said, "Mom, we're getting spaghetti." Amen. Hallelujah. I called to You for help, and You answered me. Amen. Alleluia. That's a little one, but you see what I mean? It was kind of important because it was motivated by charity. My mother was tired and hot, and my, my nephew was kind of lonely. It was motivated by charity. God heard that prayer and gave me spaghetti and meatballs too. Amen.
Well, just a few weeks ago, I was traveling to Wyoming. I had to preach out in Wyoming. And my flight was from Atlanta. I'm stationed outside of Atlanta. So I go from Atlanta to Denver, and from then from Denver to Wyoming, a smaller plane to Wyoming. And as I was getting ready to leave my little parish, my little church there in Georgia, Father John and I are stationed there outside of Atlanta. I have a beautiful little chapel. And I was saying Mass there. And after the Mass, several people needed to talk to me. It's always kind of dangerous that way because I have a lot of flights to catch. And yet, it was kind of serious. One was a young man who was involved in something satanic, and we had basically had set him free. We were still working with him. And another person as well, a religious sister, a nun. And so I, I didn't know how to say no to them. It was so serious. So after the Mass, I sat with a young man. I said, "You know, I gotta catch a plane. Can we keep it to five minutes?" You know, famous last words. So like 25 minutes later, I'm still with him. And then I get finished, and one more person. And then I give her the blessing, and I run into my room, get my suitcase, finished zipping it off, and get, jump in my car to go. And I got to the airport just in time to miss my flight. And I missed my flight from Atlanta to Denver. Then I have a connecting flight from Denver to to Wyoming. And so the lady behind the counter says, "I'm sorry, Father, that uh, you've missed it. There's no other flights there to Wyoming today. You'll have to go home, I think, and come back tomorrow. I could probably put you on tomorrow on the waiting list tomorrow." And I said, "Well, how about the halfway point? Like Denver? Like, can I just get to Denver tonight? Maybe another, that's a big city. Get to Denver, maybe spend the night there, or get to Wyoming in the morning." And she looked on over everything. She said, "Well, you know, there are two flights to Denver later this afternoon. But I would recommend that you go home and because you'll be stuck all night, and we might be able to get you on a flight to Wyoming the next day, but not for sure." And so it's up to you, Father. What do you want to do? So in all things, the Bible says, "Pray in all things." So I prayed, "Lord, what shall I do?" And immediately the Lord gave me an answer. And He went like this to me, over my head, and over her head, I saw the arm of the Lord. He went like this, which means, "Go forward, young man. Don't go back." Like this. "Go forward." So, you know, the Lord said that, writing one of His parables, "If you put your hands to the plow and you look back, you're not fit for the Kingdom." Amen. So the Lord said, "Go forward." I said, "I'll take it. Let's go to Denver." I knew what God was telling me. I'm gonna get to Denver. I'm gonna trust. Said, "Okay." She found me a flight. And indeed, there was one, like three or four hours later, to Denver. I said, "Okay, I'll take it." So I took the flight to Denver, went through security. And lo and behold, I still had like two and a half hours. I had not had a bite to eat that whole day. So I went to a nice restaurant in the airport. I had a donation in my pocket from that day. Had the most wonderful meal of my life. I sat there and enjoyed my missed flight to the heights, you mean? I just enjoyed it so much. I ate a wonderful. I thought, "Maybe that's part of the secret plan. Give Father a meal." You know what I mean? So I enjoyed this meal immensely. And got all done, and then I went down to my gate, and it was boarding, and it took off. And I landed in Wyoming, you know, excuse me, in Denver many hours late. No way to catch my flight. The last one leaves like at six in the evening. Last one, because it's kind of dangerous there when you land there in Wyoming. Uh, you have to, I think it was Cody, Cody, Wyoming. It would go down over the mountains and into like a little valley in between a circle of mountains. So it's kind of dangerous, especially at night, you see. So no more planes were going at all. They stopped like at six. I'm getting, I'm laying there at 9:30 at night. And so I get off the plane. I said, "Well, if I have to, I'll sleep in the airport. Maybe I can find a hotel. I have some emergency money with me on this particular trip. I have to get a hotel." So I get off the plane, and I walk, and I look for an outlet to charge my phone. I go to charge my phone and check my messages when the Holy Spirit interrupts me. And He says to me, so very gently, so very kindly, He says, "Not now. Not now." Like that, like, "Don't charge your phone now. It might take 45 minutes to charge it up. Not now." Okay. So I put my wire back, thinking that He's trying to tell me, "Go get your suitcase, you goofball, before they lock up the suitcases." That's what He's trying to tell me, you see. Okay. So I'll go find my suitcase. So as I'm walking to get my suitcase, there's a beautiful young lady in front of me, you see. She was beautiful like the Virgin Mary. I had seen her on my airplane from Atlanta to Denver. She was dressed so modestly, a beautiful long dress, and a beautiful hat on, not a rich hat, but like a humble hat. And she looked so holy, and she was all to herself, but in a beautiful presence of God about her. When she got off the plane, she just, she walked all to herself, except for one second, she stopped and looked at me, and our eyes met, like God, a Holy Spirit look between she and I. Then she walked off. A very mysterious young woman, very mysterious. So as I'm in the Denver airport, and I'm walking now to get my suitcase, I see the young woman in front of me who looks like Our Lady, and she's there. She's looking at the reader board, and they have all the flights, and she's looking. And I thought, "Wow, if it's good enough for Mary, it's good enough for me." So Mary's looking up. I don't know if it was Mary or not, but you could feel a divine presence around this young woman. And so I said, "Wow, Mary is looking up. I'm going to look up." So I look up to see what she's looking at, you see. It's a good, good idea where Mary is, you want to be. Amen. So I'm looking at all the flights for that day taking off. And oh, I see Wyoming. These are the flights that are still waiting to take off. Wyoming. And I'm shocked. And I look, and she's gone. Only because she stopped, that young lady, she looked so holy, was looking up. I decided, "Well, if Mary's looking at it, I'm gonna look at it." Whatever it is. So I looked, not thinking, not having a clue. Wyoming, taking off in five minutes. It's 9:30 at night. I thought, "It says Gate something." Said, "Okay, well, I'll walk towards that gate then." And I realized it was like, by the number, far from where I was. But I decided, "I'm going to walk there like a gentleman. I'm going to walk like a son of God. I'm not going to run like a chicken with its head cut off, none of that. No, no, no, no. I see that all the time, and I can't stand it. No, I belong to God. He's my Father. I'm His son. He's the King, and I'm the Prince. I'm gonna walk like a prince. My Father owns this airport. So I'm gonna walk like and trust, you know what I mean? I walk with trust. And I go and say, "Well, five minutes, I'm not going to make it because they closed that gate, you know what I mean? But who cares? At least, at least I saw it for a reason. It's kind of fun, even dreaming." So I'm just walking. And there's another reader board that turned the corner, another one. And it says, "Wyoming, 20 minutes." It just got delayed like maybe the seventh time. "20 minutes." Oh, I can make it. So I keep walking like a prince. I'm not going to run. If He got me this far, He'll get me the rest of the way. Amen. Hallelujah. And so I look around, and I finally make it there about 12 minutes later to where that gate is. And I see something like, um, one E. Everything was two E, something like that. And I see one E, and three E, four E, five E, but I don't see any two E. That's my gate. Two E. And I'm almost nobody in the airport. It's like close to ten o'clock now at night. I don't see. And I hear a voice behind me say, "Father, can I help you?" There's nobody in the airport. I look around, and there's a young man there dressed in a suit, over here talking. He says, "Father, can I help you?" God sends you the help you need when you need it. Amen. I couldn't find two E. I said, "Yeah, I'm looking for two E." He says, "It's right there." I don't see it. I see five, four, one, honestly. Two. He's right there. I said, "Okay, thank you. I'm just going to trust." So I walked like a prince. And I don't see it. But I, I go by this, this wall here. There it is, hiding behind the corner. There's two E. It's like a little tiny door, hiding behind the corner. And it says, "Wyoming, final boarding." But the door is closed. You know how do you know what that means? It is time for a miracle. Amen. The door is closed. And this is U.S. We're even stricter here in the U.S. on those rules. The door is closed. And the young man who's running that counter is walking away as I'm walking up. And I say, "Hello." And he looks at me. He says, "Hello. Are you on this flight?" I said, "I think so." So he, he ran to the counter, he ran, and he's like, "What's your name?" Blunt. And he took it. "Oh, come on." And he opened the door and he ran down, like, "Come on!" And he ran down and he opened the door to the outside. And I heard him scream, "One more! One more!" And I can't keep up with him. I'm getting old. He's like in his 20s. I'm just walking along like a prince, you know what I mean? Okay, one more. Okay. And the door is open. And he screams, and they, they get me on the plane. And they close the door. And I get on. And turn the prop on. As soon as I get on, the plane had been sitting there for four hours and started. When I sat down, mamma mia. Hallelujah. Praise You, Jesus. "Lord, on the day I called for help, You answered me." Amen. And sometimes, Lord, on the day even when I don't call for help, You answer me. Amen.
Beloved, He is good. Amen. God is good. Amen. All the time. God is good. All the time. God is good. Amen. The Lord says to tell you, very respectfully, He says to tell you, "Challenge Me." The Lord says, "I say that to you." God says to tell you, "Challenge Me. If you need a miracle or a blessing, ask Me." Amen. And don't forget the final lesson in today's Gospel. That's the Lord. Beloved, sometimes He'll make us ask Him fifteen thousand times in a row. Sometimes you have to keep on asking. And by the way, that scripture verse, translated from the Aramaic into modern English, where it says, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you." I heard an expert in the Aramaic language, a linguist, he taught me this. He says, "Father, that's not the correct translation." You know what it really should read? It should read this: If you translate correctly from ancient Aramaic to modern English, "Keep on asking and you shall receive. Keep on seeking, right? And you shall find. Keep on knocking, and the door shall be opened." He says the tense form is incorrect. It should be that, like, progressive, perfect progressive. It's a different form of the verb. "Keep on asking," the Lord said. "Keep on seeking. Keep on knocking." Amen. God, I'm going to tell you a secret. God cannot say no, especially if that beautiful Mama is standing next to You. Amen. Keep on asking. Keep on seeking. Keep on knocking. Jump on the horse with God today. Let the flame of love empower you beginning today, because life with Jesus is a flame of love. Amen. Hallelujah. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Spread the effect of grace of Thy flame of love over all of humanity.
