9 Players On The RISE After Week 9 Fantasy Football

Week nine is in the books, and we have nine players skyrocketing up our rest-of-season rankings. A couple of guys are making their first appearance in this video. A couple of guys we've talked about already. Uh, Danny, I will give you the floor for a guy that you have been crucified in the comments section for a couple of weeks about telling people to draft. And now we do have some finally some sweet relief on this player, Coloulston Loveland of the Chicago Bears.

Colton Lovelin, he's making me a happy man yet again. I mean, Coulson Loveland 75% plus of the routes in back-to-back games. We do have the notice that Cole KT left this game with a concussion. And honestly, when I'm looking at this situation, when you let a cat out of the bag, a top 10 overall pick, 6'6", 250 lb freak of an athlete tight end, you don't put him back in the bag. He was my tight end 17 coming into the week. That's all the way up at tight end 7. I think this is an Ronda Gaton Jr. situation. When you have that type of talent operating in the middle of the field being that dominant, there is no way you don't structure your offense around him moving forward because we see the utilization score this week. 97 utilization score, number two overall scoring tight end on the week, only behind Brock Bowers. And to be honest, from a skill set perspective, I do think the ceiling looks reminiscent of a guy like Brock Bowers. And when I talked about in the sleepers video coming into the year, I said this year's Brock Bowers is going to be Coulson Level. Now, obviously, it was a long runway. First eight weeks of the year, he probably wasn't in your lineup. But if you had the guts to start Coulson Lovelin in week nine against Cincinnati, shout out Corey. I did it in a couple leagues as well, you would be feeling really good because this was the prince that we were promised. This was the freak athlete that I watched at Michigan be the fulcrum of our offense. And we finally saw it on display down the line. One minute left. No [ __ ] way you can win the game unless Coulson Love makes a play, catches the ball 30 yards, breaks three tackles, ends up scoring that scoring that game-winning touchdown and ends up winning me $800 in the process. So, I get it. People want to take a by year. They want to see what happens. They want to say, "Hey, I can't do it after one game. Let's see it after two, after three." I understand that rationale. To me, if you wait two weeks, we could be talking about not only a tier one tight end, but a guy we're talking about with Brock Bowers and with Trey McBride. He's got a clear path to be a top two weapon in his offense. Roma Dunce, sure he's going to have better days. I'm not going to expect a goose egg every week, but Caleb played well and Coulson Lovelin to me is the clear middle of the field weapon for this offense. And with Ben Johnson, man, you see this guy break out the way he has been, like I said, I don't think you let the cat back in the bag.

Yeah. So, everything that you just said, I pretty much agree with you. I I mean, Coulson Love, I started him in my home league. I started Caleb Williams in the Coulson Loveland stack. Uh, that was very rewarding considering Caleb dropped like 40 points and Coulson Lovelin dropped like 29. And I also have bonuses in my league. So, they both actually dropped more in my league than they would have dropped in a lot of people's. But yeah, Coulson Lovelin, the only thing I disagree with here is that he's tight end seven rest of the season because for him to be tight end seven, that means he's above like Sam Laaporta. And as much as I believe in Coulson Lovelin, I think that everything you said is true. Coming into the season in my prospect model, if we put in like good testing as opposed to like freakish testing, like he actually might have tested had he been healthy in the offseason for the combine and whatnot, we're looking at Trey McBride, TJ Hawinson, those type of comps. So, Coulson Lovelin, top 10 pick, elite athlete, all that good stuff. I can't quite get him over the likes of like a Sam Laora, Ronda Gadson. Tentatively I think he's kind of around like where Dallas Goddard and Daltton Concincaid and those type of guys are for me just because I want to see what it looks like when Cole KT is on the field because coming into this game and in the first, you know, quarter, first two quarters when he was on the field, he was playing ahead of Coulson Lovelin like you said, probably expected that Coulson Lovelin plays more going forward because he basically just won them a football game.

But at the same time, we can't always assume rational coaching. It's possible that his routes go down a little bit if Cole KT is out there fully because in weeks, uh, week eight when he played 75% of the routes, Cole KT was out for that game and then this past week he left early on in the game with a concussion, like you said.

Yeah. And and I understand that. I understand people will say, "Well, he only did it after KT left the game." Ben Johnson, like you said, just watch this guy win his football game. We'll talk about another Bear later in the video, but to me, when you're a rookie head coach and you see your rookies come and deliver you in a big spot, there's no way you don't rely upon them rest of the season. And I'm looking at the Bear situation on offense. Luther Burden, he's fighting a concussion right now. DJ Moore might be the most unreliable number two weapon in the league right now.

He had a good game though.

He had a good game, but realistically, it's what, three good games out of nine this year. And then Roma Dunes, I mean, he just had a goose egg. I think it's going to be better moving forward. Don't get me wrong. But Roma Dunes, maybe instead of the high-end wide receiver one we thought coming into the year, probably going to be more of a low-end wide receiver one, top 12 to 15 guy. If that's the case, and Coulson Levelvel keeps playing the way he has been. I'm very curious. By the way, Jacob Gibbs always tweets out the first read target share. Down the stretch of that game, it was very clear when the Bears were on offense, they were throwing to Coulson Lovelin first in the progression. I'm very curious what that rate was this week.

Yeah, and I think it goes without saying that in tomorrow's waiver video, if he's available and you need a tight end, he is 100% of your fab type of ad. And if you guys have been following this channel, you probably already had him stashed because I've been talking about him on the tight end streamers. He was actually on the thumbnail, the tight end streamers uh short that I put out last week as one of the best streamers of the week. So hopefully you picked him up when he was nothing instead of uh, you know, this week when uh, he's going to be very, very expensive for you to pick up. But I don't really have anything else on Coulson Lovelin. I just think tight end seven's too high. I have him tight end 10 or tight end 11 right now. Just baking in a little bit of risk that Cole KT would factor in when he comes back. I don't think he will. I think rationally he shouldn't, but it's possible he does.

So Corey, let me ask you this question. The next two games, we see a 70 plus, 75% road share and let's just say 15 points per game across the next two, he's going to be a tier one tight end for you.

Yeah, I mean, he'll be right up there with Tyler Warren. Like that's that that's what he was expected to be coming into the year. They were both neck and neck as prospects.

And the craziest part too is he's three years younger. Like, could we acknowledge the the 21-year-old freak athlete tight end who missed a ton of training camp? People were willing to write him off four, five, six weeks into his career. Be patient with these guys because this is what ends up happening.

Yeah, I know we got spoiled with what um, what Tyler Warren was doing and what Arande Gadson was doing, but this this is a dude who was only legally able to drink three weeks before the NFL draft. Like, he he was he's a very young prospect. The fact that it took him eight weeks shouldn't be very surprising. And even the fact that it only took him eight weeks is very impressive when you think about it, the grand scheme of the tight end development and all that kind of stuff. So, we can move off of Coloulston Lovelin. Obvious riser, going to be a high waiver ad this week. Uh, my number one guy is Chase Brown. Um, for a couple of reasons. Um, going from RB1 19 to RB14 for me. He's been a top three fantasy point per game running back over the last three weeks since Joe Flacco took over the starting job. And in this game, Samaj Perine left with an ankle injury. We don't have a lot of details. It might not be super severe. Could be a low ankle sprain or something like that. But Chase Brown, a 30% target share, 12 targets. That's an insane output for a running back. Third easiest remaining strength to schedule for running backs, including five straight top 15 matchups in the fantasy playoffs from week 13 to week 17. Not a single difficult matchup and some of the best matchups of the entire slate in those periods of time there. When you put up a 95% snap share and you salvage your day by catching what seven, eight passes in a garbage time uh, you know, type of affair and we know that this Bengals offense is going to invite these type of game environments just because they want to drop back and pass. They have T. Higgins, they have Jamar Chase, they have Chase Brown, they're going to throw the ball like crazy. It's so hard not to get wrapped up in the uh game environments that Cincinnati is going to be in going forward, especially given some of the matchups that they're going to have. So for me, I look at the running back landscape and I go, "Yeah, there's about 14, 15 guys you can rely on." And I do think that Chase Brown is elevating his way into that tier even if Sam Perine isn't out for significant time.

I moved him one spot ahead of Jaylen Moore, two spots ahead of Bree Hall. Um, I'm curious because you said RB14. Do you have him ahead of Bucky?

I do. Yeah. I'm a little pessimistic on Bucky's injury until we see more information about it. I I'll move Bucky back up to like RB9, RB10, RB1, assuming he's back this week. I just, I haven't heard anything about Bucky's injury and it's making me nervous.

No, that's completely fair. Um, the other thing with Chase Brown, um, I'm not sure, did you talk about Joe Burrow uh coming back as well?

Yeah, I mean, I think it's less likely knowing that the Bengals aren't winning games. Um, and their playoff hopes might be in jeopardy just for that reason. But it is an open division. Like you see the Ravens are currently the Vegas betting favorite to win the division record. What they're three and five right now, the Ravens. So.

The the Bengals have the same record as Baltimore, right?

Yeah. So maybe Joe Burrow would come back just because the division is very winnable and very getable. But um, yeah, that's something to keep in mind for Chase Brown as well is that maybe in that week's 13 to 17 period when he has those easy matchups, maybe you do get Joe Burrow out there. I think had they won the two very winnable games that they could have won, being this Bears game and the Jets game, um, they would be five and three right now and this would be a team absolutely on pace to get Joe Burrow at the end of the season. So either way, even if it is just Flacco for the rest of the year, you got to feel confident that Chase Brown is an every week starter.

Yeah. And we we'll just say it right now and I'll make this bold prediction. If Joe Burrow does come back in December and they do have a chance to make the playoffs, Chase Brown might be this year's Jonathan Taylor in terms of the sense that he was a low advance rate player. You probably snuck him in if you made the playoffs, you know, week 14, week 15, and then in the fantasy playoffs, this a 20 plus point per game type of guy. You mentioned the schedule. So, if they have Joe Burrow and they're scoring 30 to 35 points per game, given the context of how bad their defense is, what's saying Chase Brown can't average 22, 23 down the stretch?

Well, you know who they're playing? Week 13 at Baltimore, week 14 at Buffalo, week 15 home for Baltimore, week 16 at Miami, and week 17 home Arizona.

Like absolutely electric schedule for all the Bengals players.

Feeling a lot better about having the heavy baseball bags in the second round.

Yeah, me too. And I got so much Jamar, too. And I feel a lot better about it. Uh, 3 weeks from, you know, this point than I did a couple weeks ago about having as many 101's as I got in baseball there. Um, let's pivot into another running back who's kind of joined Chase Brown in this territory of you can rely on him going forward and uh, that's Rico Dattle. And before you say anything, I will admit that I did think that Chuba Hover was going to hold this workload once he came back from injury. It is crystal clear to everybody involved that Rico Dattle is currently the better running back.

Yeah. And anytime that Rico gets a starting level workload, you've basically been able to bank on him as a top two running back in fantasy. It sounds insane, but we look at the three weeks with over 60% of the snaps. 32.4, 33.9, 28.1 PPR points. In fact, Corey, in my home league after the Sunday slate, I got a DM from someone saying, "Would you send me Rico Dattle straight up for Lad McConi?" It seems like everybody understands that Rico Dattle is a stud. And uh, yes, by the way, if I can still make that deal, I still will do it because although Rico Dattle is a riser, he's my RB 17 rest of the season. And honestly, the fact that I had to think about the lad offer goes to show you just how dominant he's been. Bad matchup. He took the Bulls by the horns against the Packers defense. Keep in mind the situation for Carolina down 60% of their offensive line. Hostile game environment. 14-point underdogs. We literally had to tell people on the live stream, ah, I don't know if this is the best Rico spot. And he shut us up. He is clear as day the workhorse running back for Carolina moving forward. Chuba Hubard, he is a thing of the past. This is Rico's world and we're all living in it. If he's going to continue playing this well for a run-heavy Panthers offense that is actually being able to successfully move the ball in the run game, I would not be at all shocked if he rose to a top 12 level running back rest of the season. Like if he goes out there the next two weeks, has a 70% work uh share and keeps this efficiency, why wouldn't he be a top 12 running back?

Well, the Panthers over the last four games are number one in the NFL in neutral run rate as well. So, this is a team that wants to run the football. Dave Canales, when he was the Buccaneers head coach, also was a very run-heavy, run-oriented kind of mindset when he came from Seattle. If you guys recall, they were very run-heavy at the end of Russell Wilson's tenure there. So, yeah, this is a dude that wants to run the ball. I think that Chuba Hubard is pretty much just a handcuff going forward unless he gets dealt or something like that. The trade deadline as we're talking about this is um, what, 36 hours from now. It's on Tuesday. So um, this is a situation where, yeah, Rico Dattle has got to be the starting running back going forward. And I am kicking myself for dropping him in my home league a week before this breakout when I knew Chuba Hubard was banged up. Same with the Flock League, too. A week before the breakout, I've dropped him in the Flock League as well. And it, it's driving me nuts because I also don't have a ton of baseball bags of the guy. I have him like 5% of my teams, which I think is decent, but man, I I wish I packed my bags on him because he was a good process play. And he's here's a here's a a good piece of advice going forward. Just look at the dead zone running backs and draft their backups, literally, because dead zone hit rates are just, you know, always like not great, especially when they're workload dead zone backs like Chuba Hubard was. Just draft their backups, especially if they have a history of producing like D. Also, Rico Corey, um, I heard you complaining about dropping him in the flock league. Like, you didn't pick him up after I dropped him when I dropped him.

Yeah, no, he got passed around in the flock league. Everybody was picking him up. Like, it, it's brutal, man. Uh, Rico Dattle definitely a guy that if you picked him up on waivers, he is looking like one of the singular best pickups of the entire season.

Dude, he's the RB9 in fantasy right now.

The RB9 in fantasy and he's gotten three games with the starter workload.

Yeah. Well, when you think about like what his best ball implications are when you're the RB9 in fantasy on the back of three top two overall weeks, you're going to be one of the highest advance rate players in baseball. I'm really curious what my what my percentage ended up on him because you remember like mid mid off seasonason I was pounding the table and then I think I I cooled a little bit because like oh, you know, Trevor ETM was drafted, he's got a skill set, we're still making a lot of money. Like I don't think I I drafted him as frequently down the stretch but I know I have a high percentage so I'm very curious if I go NFL basketball, we go to my.

Yeah, I'm sitting at four right now. 4% isn't ideal, but got some shares at least, which is nice.

Uh, 17% Rico Dattle. At one point I was over 20%. At one point I was over 20%.

Yeah, that feels good. I have 17% Rashad White who got some good runs. So and that feels pretty decent. But that's kind of why I wasn't drafting Rico Daddles cuz him and Rashad White went really close in ADP.

So um, I'm I'm guessing now Coulson Lovelin and Rico Dav are going to have to co counteract the Travis Hunter Tucker Craft bags.

Yeah, Cole Coulson Love was my second highest drafted tight end. Of my top 10 drafted tight ends, not a single one of them was a miss. Now that Coulson Loveland um, like they're all just excellent picks at value like Goddard, Craft, I mean, he's going to be out for the season, so that probably sucks. But anyways, moving into the next uh riser here, we got Ashen Genty. Um, I moved him up from RB14, kind of in that territory of the Bruce Halls and the Judkins of the world. He's now at the back end of the other tier for me, with the Javante and Derrick Henry and Saquon and those type of guys. And the reason for that is number one, you and I both believed Ashen Jenty was the special prospect coming into the NFL season. High 90% of the snaps. My biggest thing with Ash and Jensen all season has been I don't want to watch the Las Vegas Raiders play football. They are an absolute train wreck. Well, Brock Bowers significantly improved this offense and absolutely turned them into a watchable unit who can move the football. Neutral game scripts is what Ashen Genty needs and he got a neutral game script against a better team, a team that was favored on the road coming into this game. And just because you're the sixth overall pick doesn't mean the post-buy rookie bump doesn't apply to you also, because coming out of the buy, we see him get 90% of the snaps, 76% of the carries. The only opportunity that any non-Ashen Genty running back got was Raheem Mosard, I believe, had one catch in the game. So we're looking at a situation now where Ashen Genty is getting this significant workload that all of us expected him to get from week one. But now in one game out of the buy, he is getting it. And I do think going forward, we could be talking about a guy that rest of season is a top seven or eight running back.

Yeah, I mean, if the offense is going to keep looking this good, don't worry, we'll talk about Brock Bowers in a second as well. We have to adjust, man. They had their by-week. It's clear they figured out what their identity they want to be. Funny enough, they still ended up losing the game in overtime because of a failed two-point conversion. But, um, yeah.

That's what I mean. They were watchable and they showed signs of life. And I mean, going forward now that, you know, they had their by-week, the offense is looking good. I mean, who's to say Genty can't finish like you said, top five to seven running back down the stretch like.

No. Yeah. I mean, we were drafting him that way. It's just we it took us a little bit longer than you know, maybe we wanted it to. If you guys drafted Ashen Genty with like the 110 or the 202 or something like that in your draft, you're probably not in great shape right now. You're probably in like seventh place or eighth place or something, assuming you drafted well around him. But if you have him going forward, I feel like he's going to really pay off down the stretch and maybe be like you said, with Chase Brown, like one of these like this year's Jonathan Taylor kind of uh baseball guys where if you advance him, he could have, you know, a big uh big stretch of games in the playoffs.

Giants in week 17, by the way.

Yeah. No, absolutely electric. Staying on the Las Vegas Raiders, you have Brock Bowers here. And I mean, this one's pretty straightforward. I I again, speaking on Rico Dattle, I will say this is how my anti-propaganda for early round tight ends ages poorly is that you get a 43-point game from the best tight end on the planet.

Yeah. Um, welcome back tight end one Brock Bowers. And I mean, like, let's just point it like this, and I do have to give you a little bit of flack for this, but who would have thought, you know, the best tight end in the league playing injured would be right back to being the best tight end in the league when he's healthy. Like, it's very clear that the knee injury he's recovered from. He had the by-week to be able to fully recover and we saw what a healthy Brock Bowers looked like. Um, you remember in week one when he played 51% of the snaps and actually like really, really produced on them, and people were like, "Well, what happened to Brock Bowers?" Like, it's clear as day that they've been trying to manage the injury and he was unleashed this week. 84% of the routes, 36% targets per route run, 34% of the targets and more importantly, tied one on the week, 43.3 points like you said. I had to play him in my home league. Keep in mind, I had to play against Christian McCaffrey, T. Higgins, and Brock Bowers all in the same lineup. But at one point, going into the fourth quarter, it's about a 50-50 projection. Keep in mind, I was the second highest scorer this week. It was about a 161 to 158 projection. I was projected to win at that point. And then Brock Bowers dropped what, 25, 30 points in fourth quarter in overtime action.

Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. And right now it's like what, 37% chance that Nick the Editor takes down Avery this week going into Monday Night Football. And if Javante Williams doesn't have a big game, uh, Avery losing to Nick the Editor, basically solely being carried by Brock Bowers in that matchup would be pretty insane. So yeah, I think very clearly he's the best tight end in fantasy going forward. Trey McBride's great. We'll see what he does tonight. I'm sure he'll have a great game against the Cowboys because they can't cover anybody. But Brock Bowers is just simply on a different level as a player.

He's got tier of his own upside. Like that's really the best way to put it. He is so, it was like if you gave a Monor St. Brown tight end eligibility, that's what you get from Brock Bowers at the tight end spot in your fantasy leagues. And especially in baseball, like you said, like there's just simply not many tight ends capable of a 43-point a week and one of them just went down to an ACL injury this week.

Yeah. And in my defense, as somebody who did not draft really any Brock Powers in baseball, part of why I didn't draft him in like redraft leagues because I wanted to buy low on him if he had a couple of down performs. That's how I view the tight end position. Tight ends are a little bit up and down. People get a little bit annoyed by that. We've been talking about him as a buy low in Wednesday's videos for two weeks in a row now. So hopefully you bought low on Brock Bowers. I tried like hell to get him from Nick all week, trying to get him. Like I was pushing for this dude.

I tried harder. At one point I offered Tucker Craft plus for him before the Raiders by week and Nick told me no.

I offered him Marvin Harrison, Kamani Vidal, and Daltton Concincaid and he said no.

Yeah, I mean, well, Tucker Craft was ranked ahead of him in the expert consensus. So, I offered him plus and he said.

Well, given that he had depth issues, I thought Marvin Harrison plus Kamani Vidal plus Concaid would be a good way for him to fill out his lineup. Smart on Nick the editor for not taking either of us up on those offers. And um, go ahead.

I was going to say real quick, Avery needs to work on his tight end defense. McBride 35 a few weeks ago. Craft what he did last week. Brock Bowers 43 on his head top this week. Who's he play next week? Because we may as well just bet all all the overs on that tight end.

Yeah. No, literally. I think when I had when I played Avery in week five, I feel like my tight end went off against him too. Yeah. Back and Kade had 17 points against him as well in that game.

Let me see. Week 10, he plays against Thomas the editor. Um, go take all the hires on Theo Johnson.

Yeah, what the hell is Thomas doing dropping Harold Fannon before the buy? Like, I have no idea what he's doing.

Both Brown tight ends.

What the hell is that guy doing? Anyways, speaking of Dalton Concaid, he's also a riser for me. It's weird that he's he's not been in this video all season when he's actually having a pretty good year. Um, tight end 13 is where I had him before this week. Tight end nine is where he's at for me now. It doesn't seem rational that Daltton Concade would be a riser because he's only running 58% of the Bills routes on the season. And despite that, he's tight end six in fantasy points per game with 13.2 points per game. He's been exactly as effective. This is a crazy stat. He's been exactly as effective for your fantasy team as Tyler Warren. 13.2 points per game for both players. Keep in mind that he missed week six with an oblique injury. He goes on buy, barely practices coming out of the buy. He was limited all week. It was a game time decision heading into week eight's game against Carolina. Well, the Bills blew the doors off of Carolina in the first half of the game. And then he's taken off the field pretty much to rest for the rest of the game because he wasn't healthy coming into it. He's off the injury report in week nine and he just posted his second straight healthy game of 100 plus receiving yards. So, this is a dude that in his non-injury report game, so just removing week eight coming into that game, obviously missed week six, is off by in week seven. 14.8 point per game producer at the tight end position. So, I know it's weird because as like fantasy bros, we look at the usage and we go, is this guy an every week starter? Not really. He's not really getting the usage. Jackson Haw and Dawson Knox or whatever are getting some touches and getting some routes. But, man, this is a dude averaging 25% targets per route run on the Buffalo Bills. He needs to be in your lineup every single week going forward.

Yeah. No, it's pretty simple as that. He was a top 10 tight end for me coming into the week. He's in my tier three as well still. Um, I just have to segment the tier a little bit. So, right now, tier one, I have it as Mc Bowers and McBride, 16 plus point per game guys. Tier two, I would say the guys that I could see getting to 16 points per game, but maybe a little bit more question marks. Tyler Warren kind of dropped off in terms of production these last couple of weeks. Aronda Gatson Jr., um, if he keeps playing like this, he will be in that tier one as well. Jake Ferguson, 15.1 points per game, but contextually speaking, we do have CD Lamb back on the field, so I did have to demote him from that top tier. George KD, he just simply hasn't been producing at the level of the top two guys. And Coulson Love, Coulson Lovelin at seven, funny enough, I think him and Gaton have the best upside to be in that top tier. Kyle Manungai, man, what a game. Now, he was kind of buried in that, you know, handcuffed territory for me. Fringe top 40-ish level running back, but after a 31 opportunity, 190 yards from scrimmage performance, I think at the very minimum, he has to be viewed as a top 30 level running back. And I don't think it's out of the range of outcomes where he can get the higher percentage of the team carries even when DeAndre Swift comes back. To me, this really does remind me of the Rico Dattle situation where, you know, DeAndre Swift's the veteran. DeAndre Swift, you know, has been the workload guy. DeAndre Swift has been the guy that the fantasy community is completely on. But straight up, Manungai just had a better game than any single game that we've seen from Swift this season. And even when Swift comes back, don't get me wrong, like I do have Swift ranked higher. I do think on most levels Swift will end up being the starter. But when a Manungai goes out there without Swift and has 81% of the carries, 55% of the routes and plays as well as he did, you got a rookie seventh round running back that like Lovelin, I think is going to get in the good graces of a guy like Ben Johnson, rookie head coach. You have to kind of earn your merit and I think Kyle Monungai has earned his merit. Really what it comes down to is he's been efficient all year and we finally saw him handle a big workload at this point. Like, why can't realistically outside of the top 15 running backs in fantasy, we try to find the needle in the haystack, we try to find the next Rico Dattle, guys that can emerge out of nowhere. Why can't it be Manungai? What if he goes up to a 60% carry workload and DeAndre Swift the third down back?

Yeah, Manengi basically looked exactly like David Montgomery has looked in Ben Johnson's offense over the last couple of years. That's pretty much what he looked like in that game. So yeah, I think at the very minimum, like I am a little bit lower than you, but he's in the same tier relatively speaking as the guys that we're talking about, like the guys like Kamani Vidal who have short-term, you know, appeal or the guys like Woody Mars who are technically the starter for the team. The guys like Jakori Kroski Merritt, RJ Harvey, Zack Charbanet, those type of guys. That's where Manungai resides as of now. Because the only difference between this and the Chuba Hubard situation, we talked about this before we started recording, is that Chuba Hubard wasn't playing well. DeAndre Swift is playing well. So, that's kind of the difference to me why I don't think Manai would just outright win this workload. Um, but it is possible, like you said, that maybe he's the guy that gets the majority of the early down work going forward.

Yeah, that's kind of how I view it. Um, no-nonsense runner, hasn't really made the same mistakes. That's the thing with Swift as well. Um, we were already seeing his snap share kind of cut down, you know, 40 to 50% these last couple weeks even prior to the injury. It could be injury related, could also just be the fact that Manunga has been making a lasting impression on Ben Johnson. Typically, I like to prefer the latter because ultimately when a rookie shows you promise, we typically do see them exponentially get better as the season goes on.

Yeah, I I'm not ready to say that he's going to take over Swift's job. I think as long as Swift is out, however long that's out for, he's going to be an absolute must-start player. But um, I am curious to see what the workload looks like when when Swift comes back because I don't think that he would get, you know, Rico Dattle in the regards that he would just lose his job because he is playing well and he has, you know, 15.9 fantasy points per game this season. Uh, DeAndre Swift. So that he's been like legit RB1 production guy.

Yeah. No, Swift has been solid. I just think from a real life perspective, like maybe missing some reads and stuff like that. Whereas Mungai like.

He just hasn't made mistakes on his carries. And I think with a guy like Ben Johnson, that's the ultimate thing he looks for.

Yeah. And I was wrong about Kyle Mani, man. When we watched Rutgers, I just didn't think he I thought he was a plotter. I guess maybe any plotter can just be turned into David Montgomery and Ben Johnson's offense. Maybe this is more of a running backs don't matter type of argument, but I I just I was thinking that if there was going to be a guy that supplanted DeAndre Swift or was a factor in his backfield, it would have been Roshan Johnson, who keep in mind was also out for this game in addition to DeAndre Swift. So maybe we would have seen less of a workload for Kyle Manengi had Roshan been out there. But Roshan's been pretty much useless his whole career so far.

So.

Yeah, I'm very curious because um, again, I had him a little bit lower. I thought the movement skill set was a little bit lacking as a prospect. I thought maybe the juice wouldn't translate, but man, he reads his keys well. He's very decisive, and there's no nonsense behind the line of scrimmage. Like, if you're going to be a a lower athlete type of running back, you have to be as quick as anybody on the field to make your decisions.

Yeah, he's he looks like Tyler Algier right now. Like, if Tyler Algier had started for the Bears last uh yesterday, that's what it would have looked like. Exactly like that. So, that's exactly what you got to expect out of Kani. Kudos to those of you guys that picked him up on waivers and whatnot. Um, my last riser and then we have kind of like an honorable mention riser who we don't really know where to place right now but is definitely on the rise. Uh, Romeo Dobs, wide receiver 38 now to wide receiver 31 for me. In every game but two this year, Romeo Dobs has been a top 40 play at wide receiver. A very startable asset. Spike week upside as we saw that one game. He had three touchdowns in week four. Craft probably just tore his ACL legitimately. Like that's that's what the report of the team is that they fear that they tore his ACL. We don't have official word on whether or not he did. At first, when it happened, some people talked about an MCL sprain or a PCL injury or whatever the case is. Plus Matthew Golden hurt his shoulder in this game. Jaden Reed's still not back from his injury. Apparently, they're targeting a mid to late November type of return timeline. I would imagine over the next couple of weeks, Jaden Reed gets his uh practice window opened, his 21-day practice window opened. And of course, Christian Watson has been a factor in the last couple of games. But the one constant all year has been Romeo Dobs leading this team in target share. 23% target share for a quarterback. Aside from one absolutely awful throw that me and Danny could have picked off, I do think that uh Jordan Love has played pretty well this year and Romeo Dobs with his little uh Guardian cap out there seems to be a reliable target for him. 10 targets again this week.

Yeah. So, funny enough, I basically after the week approached the devs and I asked I'm like, "Hey, um, would you guys do any type of deal involving like Romeo Dubs and like an Isaiah Davis in exchange for Jordan Addison?" And I thought, "Okay, perfectly reasonable." I have Addison at 27, Romeo Dubs 30 rest of the season. They're trying to get AJ Brown activated off of IR. Figured I'd shut it out and they told me no. Basically, they said they want to keep on to Romeo Dubs and.

I think the status quo on Addison versus Dubs might actually flip within a couple weeks.

Yeah. No, Dubs is playing well, especially like I said, now that Craft is probably going to be out for the year. Like, he's going to be the number one target there until Jaden Reed comes back. And even once Reed's back, maybe he's not 100% healthy. And Wat like Watson's going to be a huge waiver pickup this week because of the Golden injury and because of the craft injury. But yeah, definitely um a guy that has to be on the rise given what's happening around him. And I do want to shout out Romeo Dobs, my highest entry fee drafted wide receiver on underdog. I have him on what 18, 19% of my teams and I have him on a bunch of my, he's on two both of my big dogs and a couple of my great Danes, too. So, I feel very, very good about the amount of bags that I have of Romeo Dobs in baseball. It's so confusing to me, too, because like I I was looking at it like, okay, you know, you got a you got a decent skill set ex wide receiver, but he felt like the sacrificial X coming in.

You called them sexless, I believe, is what happened.

Sexless is the right word. And I mean, hell, apparently all the sexless wide receivers, Romeo Dubs, Alec Pierce, like all these guys are just actually good at football now.

Hollywood Brown has had a couple of good spike weeks. Darius Sllayton is now relevant. Like Michael Pitman is like the ultimate sexless wide receiver who's like a top 15 guy right now.

Also, I do have to address this as well. It feels like Romeo Dubs like maybe it's the Guardian cap. I don't know what it is, but like you would look at him and think, "Okay, that's like a 28, 29-year-old receiver." He's 25 years old.

Oh, dude. I have I when I did my dynasty rankings update last week, I'm like, "Dude, Romeo Dobs like not a top 36 dynasty wide receiver."

He's 25 years old. What?

Yeah. He's been in the league for four years. Kudos to.

A contract year. I'm not exactly sure if the Packers would resign him, but I hope he I hope he stays with Green Bay, honestly. I think it's a good good fit for him.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, kudos to Dubs. Uh, I talk about him every week on the wide receiver video. He's been like a top 30 wide receiver in my wide receiver rankings tier list literally for the last month because I look at him like since Reed went down with the bye-week, eight targets, nine targets, eight targets, six targets, 10 targets. Now Tucker Craft is out like what's stopping this guy from being a legitimate 25, 28% target share SOA? Like we've seen for example, uh, you posted uh the graphic on the screen, but 22 uh plus percent target share in all but one game in his last five.

Yeah. No, he's been he's been a dog man. Um, honorable mention to Trevian Henderson, RB45 up to RB29. The reason I don't really know what to do with Trevian Henderson right now and he is, you know, still like a guy skyrocketing up my rankings is because we don't know what the timeline on Raandre Stevenson's injury is. Was this a one-week rental? You got Trevian Henderson for the week that you could start him. Didn't really have a monster game. He had 12.7 PPR points, but the usage was great. 75% of the snaps, 70% of the routes, got the majority of the carries, just got sniped on the goal line. The Patriots could give Henderson the workload going forward because he played well and maybe he showed them something. But the timeline that I've seen forre's injury is anywhere between two to four weeks, aka 1 to 3 weeks now, since he's already missed a game. I don't view this situation all that differently though from the Coulson Lovelin conversation we had at the beginning of the video, which is you can't go overboard ranking Trevian Henderson RB19 rest of season thinking that he's going to be the starter. There's still risk there. There's still risk that Raandre Stevenson comes back and he is the starting running back that you need there. But hopefully we do get another game or two of Trevian Henderson being the starting running back because nobody, not one running back in the NFL has an easier strength to schedule than the New England running backs rest of the season.

Yeah, I mean, if he can continue this majority workload, like we're talking about, like you said, legitimate elite upside rest of the way. Um, I am, like you said, like I'm cautiously optimistic. He is also in my top 30 rest of the season. I think I'm a little bit higher than you. I have him as my RB 24 rest of the season. Um, I do have him ranked over Stevenson straight up because I do think the injury was exactly what he needed to potentially get the workload. But based off, you know, Vable, the factor that, you know, Stevenson's a veteran, like we could be looking at Henderson having, you know, five, six yards per carry in the next couple games and then Randre Stevenson still returning to a role. So, I can't get overboard, but I mean, Randre is averaging 3.3 yards per carry on the year. Like, if you just watch Henderson play football, Rael, put him in the game.

Yeah, put him in the game. This is a buy. This is a buy low opportunity based on the usage here in my opinion because the person who has Trevian Henderson maybe held him all season and doesn't want to sell him right now. But if you told me that Stevenson was going to be out for significant time and or would just straight up lose his job in the period of time that he's out for and then once he comes back.

You could argue that Trevian Henderson's a top 15 running back rest of season. Legitimately, it's just you can't do it now because of all these underlying factors of when Stevenson comes back and all this kind of stuff. So, um, with with Trevian Henderson, if you got him, just hold and maybe you can start him again this week against the Bucks. We allow like receiving yards galore to the running back position, so there's a good chance he'll catch some passes in this one. Um, but yeah, you got to feel pretty good about Trevon Henderson. Definitely on the rise from where he was a calendar week and a half ago when you and I were like, yeah, he's like maybe a top 45 running back because he's all he is is just a handcuff at this point. And so far, that's he's still just a handcuff. He's just realizing his handcuff potential at the moment. We just want to see what it looks like once Stevenson is back. And how long is Stevenson out for is also a major factor of this.

Shout out Trevian Henderson. Uh, it's so funny because I talked about, you know, Lovelin earlier. He was the number one sleeper on that video. And I talked about, you know, Trevon Henderson on my breakouts video. If we just like cut out the first half of the year and it was just applying now, like everybody would be like, "Oh my god, like what hits?" Like that's crazy.

Yeah. No, but uh Stephvenson and uh, or sorry, Henderson and Lovelin probably on. I'm curious when I do the waiver video tomorrow, how many waiver wires Trevian Henderson is even still on potentially like, especially in shallow 8 to 10 man leagues. I'd imagine he's on the waiver wire in most people's leagues given how poorly he had been performing up to that point.

82% rostered, hon.

Okay. So yeah, I'm I'm assuming a lot of people picked him up before the week then and probably had to play them or used them or whatever the case is. But anyways, appreciate you guys for tuning in. Nine players skyrocketing up our week nine rankings. Our rest season rankings are up to date. If you guys want to check them out. Dynasty trade value chart. I we updated our Dynasty trade value chart as far as the rankings in them last week, but I didn't get a chance to update the actual trade values, but that will be ready for you guys at the latest tomorrow afternoon. So, make sure to stay tuned for that if you guys are playing in Dynasty Leagues making trades. Danny, maybe on Thursday, you and I could do like um one of those uh videos where we talk about trade strategy during the season because this is about the time of year when people got to kind of [ __ ] or get off the pot. Are you a contender? Are you not a contender? So we can maybe talk about some dynasty trade strategy revolving around that. Maybe use some examples of our own teams u making some trades to rebuild or contend or whatever the case is. So maybe we'll have that for you guys on Thursday. Of course, waivers tomorrow. Wednesday will be trade targets and so on. Matchups that matter in the tier lists through the end of the week. Appreciate you guys for tuning in. Peace out. We'll talk to you soon.
