Can I show you a crazy YouTube faceless niche where people are earning up to $30,000 per month by posting AI generated videos? And can I show you a new AI tool that has just been released that I use to replicate these videos? Well, that is the challenge I've set myself today. And here are the videos that we will be making.
AI podcasts. These are insanely popular. New podcasts are being released every month, gaining hundreds of thousands to millions of views. I've talked about these before, but as I said, a new tool has been released that makes creating these easier. So, I've had a lot of requests to make a new step-by-step video tutorial. And it's interesting because by far the most popular style of AI podcast right now is still an English language podcast, for example. You take this channel in the niche, right?
Well, if we check it out, this channel was created just 9 months ago as of me filming this video. And yet, it's already gained over a million subscribers. Crazy, right? And all of these channels are pretty similar. They feature two hosts who just have a slow, easy to understand conversation about a normal day-to-day topic, which is great for viewers and listeners who want to learn conversational English. For example, in this podcast episode that this channel uploaded 2 months ago, the AI hosts just have a simple conversation about things that they like and don't like. We'll give it a quick listen so that you can see what I mean.
Okay. What about an activity you don't like? >> An activity I don't like. I don't like to wait in long lines. >> Does anyone like that? >> I don't think so. It's so boring. >> See, pretty simple, right? And look, if we check it out on SocialBlade, you can see that in the past 30 days, this channel has gained over 3.8 million views. And it's not like this was a one-off spike either. They've been consistently getting anywhere from 3 to 4 million views for the past few months.
So then, let's estimate how much money this channel is earning with YouTube's monetization program, the partner program, which splits ad revenue with us creators. But before I can do that, I already know that a bunch of people will leave comments on this video going, "Wait, does YouTube even monetize AI podcast?" And the answer is yes. Yes, they do. And it's actually really easy to prove it. If we come and check it out, this channel has a super thanks button which lets viewers tip them. Well, this is a YouTube partner program only feature. To be able to add a super thanks button to your videos, you have to be in the partner program and be monetized.
So, now that we know that this channel is monetized, we can then estimate how much money this channel is earning each month. And it's actually a pretty simple equation. On average, channels earn anywhere from $3 to $8 RPM, which means revenue per 1,000 views. So, if we do the math, we can estimate that this channel is earning anywhere from $11,000 to over $31,000 per month. Wow. That comes out to on average over $1,000 per day. Pretty insane, right?
And I find it even more crazy because before AI, sure, podcasts could make a lot of money as well, but they were expensive to produce unless you hosted it yourself. You had to pay professional voice actors who could charge you $500 to $1,000 per episode. But now, as you will see, I'm going to generate a professional sounding podcast for just $159 by utilizing this tool, Wondercraft. As my longtime subscribers know, this is my favorite AI podcasting tool, and it's for two reasons. First, inside of their AI voice generation tool, they have lots of podcasting features, but secondly, they just added in the past few weeks a video editor, too. In my old tutorials, this didn't exist, and I've had a lot of requests to update my tutorial showing how to make a podcast episode from start to finish using it.
So, then let's get started with step one. We are going to generate a podcast script for free and it's pretty simple to do. Just log into Wondercraft and then click to start a new project from scratch. Then come and make sure that you're set to text mode and then select to turn on script mode. Then next, come to the left. Here you'll see W the video creator AI agent. I switched her to audio mode and chose for her to use Claude as her agent brain. And then I prompted her to write the script. So I'll show you my prompt that I used to get the best results.
First, I started out by explaining what my podcast was, what it was about, and who it is for to give her context. Then, I told her who my hosts are, Lauren and Ethan, and explained what topic the conversation should be about. For this episode, I wanted them to talk about transport and how they get around San Francisco, which is the city that I decided they lived in. I told Wanda that Lauren has a car and Ethan relies on public transport like trains. And then I told her that the podcast should have an introduction, a chatty conversation, and then a conclusion. And I also told her it should be between 10 to 14 minutes long since that is the average length these podcasts tend to be in this niche right now. And then that was it. I let her do her AI magic.
Now, the cool thing about this is that if you create a free Wondercraft account, you can actually use the AI agent Wand to make a podcast script for free. You only use credits to generate audio, not to generate a script, and it was pretty interesting. So, firstly, Wanda generated the draft script, which was about eight minutes. Then, she analyzed the script and was like, "Wait a minute, it's a bit too short." So, then Wanda went back into the script and expanded out sections of the conversation to make them longer. This is another new feature now included in Wondercraft, and it's really cool to watch happen. And by the time W was done, the script was about 12 minutes, which was perfect.
So at this point, you have two options. Option one is that if you like the script, then you can just keep it as is. Or option two is that you can go back into the script and edit out any bits that you think seem a little bit clunky or awkward. So for example, I thought that this line was a bit clunky, so I just deleted it. And I added and edited some sections like the ending, which I tweaked. So yes, once you've gone through and edited the script, we can then move on to the next step, which is step two, generate our AI podcast.
And this is pretty simple. To start, we need to just choose a voice for each host. So I clicked on my first speaker, Lauren, and I went through and picked a new voice. To listen to a preview, just click the profile picture, and a preview will play. Now, Wondercraft probably has the most AI voices I've ever seen in an audio generator to choose from, which obviously in theory is nice since it means that you have lots of different choices for hosts, but it can also be difficult since it can be a bit overwhelming to pick one, you know. So, something I absolutely do is anytime I use Wondercraft, I add search filters to narrow down the types of voice I want. So for Lauren, I figured that living in San Francisco, I'd give her an American accent, you know, and I got Wondercraft to filter voices that would sound good specifically as a podcast. And this made it much easier to sort through. And out of these options, Georgia was my favorite. So I selected her voice to be Lauren. Then I unselected her clips. And then I chose to change Ethan's voice. And I used the same search filters, except this time I made his voice a male voice, not a female voice. And out of the different voices that it recommended to me, my favorite voice was Allen's. So, I selected his voice and then I deselected and closed his clips. And now we're ready to generate our podcast.
And there are actually two different ways that you can do this. One way is standard mode. This is when you just click the generate all button and Wondercraft will turn each audio clip into its own standalone audio clip. Or you can turn on combo mode, which will blend the audio clips together into a single audio file on your timeline, and it'll stitch the voices together to sound as natural as possible. It takes longer to generate, but it is pretty cool. So, here is a preview of our podcast in standard mode.

In standard mode, they have their presentation voices on, which is why they're slower and pronounce each word very clearly. Whereas convo mode, their voices are more casual and they have a lot more variance. For people creating a commentary podcast, convo mode could be a great option. But for us, I actually think that it's better for us to use standard mode since our viewers are learning English. So having our hosts speak slower and more clearly will probably make it easier for a non-native speaker to understand what they're saying.
And also keep in mind that AI voices, while they sometimes feel like magic, are not actually magic. And like all AI content can have glitches. So you get two free regenerations. If any section has a glitch, just click the generate button and confirm you want to regenerate it and it will redo it for you for free. And actually, creating our podcast audio is the only part where we need to use credits. And currently, it is 10 credits per 1 minute of video. And also something else you need to keep in mind is that different AI voices speak faster or slower than others. So before I generated my audio, it estimated that it would be 12 minutes and 43 seconds long. But when generated, it actually came out to 12 minutes and42. So it cost me 127.4 credits instead.

But yes, we can now move on to the next step, which is to use Wondercraft's free AI powered video editor to make our podcast into a YouTube video. And this is super easy to do. Just come and switch your screen into video editing mode. Simple. Now, next up, we need to add in our podcast videos. And honestly, we don't need to do anything fancy here because you think about it, right? The other videos that we saw in this niche that were getting hundreds of thousands to millions of views were all following the same visual pattern. One, they often have an animated audiogram, which is this type of animation here. And two, they have big clear captions on screen so that viewers can read along as they watch. And three, they feature an AI generated image of the podcast hosts.
So, let's start with that one and generate an AI image of our podcast hosts. And currently, my favorite AI image generator for making pictures, as my longtime subscribers probably know by now, is Nano Banana Pro. And there are three ways that you can access this. One way is through Google's own paid AI tools. So, it can be accessed in the Google AI Studio or in the paid pro versions of Google's own version of Chat GPT, Gemini, which is how I usually access it. You can just type out your prompt, turn nano banana on, and then make sure your Gemini is set to either pro or thinking mode, and it will generate an image. Simple. You can then just upload this into Wondercraft and use it as your video background for free.
Or alternatively, you can access Nano Banana Pro in Wonder. In the image tab, select to generate an image. Add in your prompt of what scene you want it to make. Then choose the image size and image style. And then choose Nano Banana Pro from the model list. And that's it. It'll create an image for you. This costs nine credits. So, if you have any extra credits left over from your 1,000, using them on images could be a good idea since they are pretty cheap.
But if you do want to access Nano Banana Pro 100% for free, I have actually discovered a secret trick which I haven't seen anyone else talk about, and it's that you can actually generate Nano Banana Pro images entirely for free using Canvas own image generator called Leonardo AI. Leonardo has a free account that not only lets you use any images you generate for commercial purposes, but it also gives you 150 free credits each day that you log in. And check this out. If we sign into a free Leonardo account and select to make an image, guess what? Inside of their AI model selection, we can choose Google's Nano Banana Pro. Now, because this is such an advanced image generator, each image costs 140 credits. But remember, we get 150 credits a day for free. And all we need is one image. But yes, sponsorship segment over. Now, back to the tutorial. So, either way, once you have your image, come and click on elements and then click to add an animated audiogram to your video. And you can also move it around, resize it, and place it where you want it to be. So I put it in a clear empty spot in the wall of my background image. Then next, we will add in our podcast name. So click to add some text. Then in the right side menu, change the text box to be your podcast name. And then you can use the text editing tools to change the font, the font color, and to add any fun visual effects such as adding a shadow to it.
Then once you got your text looking the way that you want, we'll then add in something super cool, advanced AI captions. So, as you can see, you have multiple different types of captions to pick from. And personally, I like the block read captions the best. These highlight each word as it said. So, I click to edit these. And inside these editing settings, you can change how they look. So, for example, I changed the block background color to be black and I increased the text border thickness to make the text stand out more. and then I saved it as a preset. Then I just added my own caption preset into the video. And because Wondercraft generated the audio and the captions, it syncs them up pretty much perfectly. It's one of the most accurate AI caption generators that I have ever used.
So, we're actually almost done. But as an optional extra, for an extra 0.4 credits, as in 0.4 credits, not four credits, 0.4 credits, if you are okay with spending 0.4 four credits. You can actually add in an optional AI jingle into your podcast intros. It's quite cool. Yep. Just click on the music tab and then click to generate music. Then you can change the dial down to generate a 10second audio clip. And then turn on the cheapest music generator option that there is. And then just tell it that you want a little intro jingle and explain the vibe that you want. And then that's it. It'll generate one for you. Again, it's optional and it's up to you whether you think 0.4 credits is worth it, but honestly, I think it is.
So, once I added my jingle in, I set my jingle's volume to be 20% and I set the fade in time to be 0 seconds and I changed the fade out time to be 3 seconds. And that is pretty much it. We just need to do one final tweak. Just come to the video timeline and place your cursor on the edge of your background image and drag it across. Then keep zooming out to show all of your timeline. And put your cursor over the edge of the image. And again, drag it until it reaches the end. And then just repeat the same thing, but this time for your animated audiogram element. And then do the same thing again, but this time for your podcast name. And then just click download and save it in 1080p. And you have a podcast episode ready to upload to YouTube.
