He is God. He is God. When Job was questioning God, God asked him, he said, "Do you know like, do you know what it takes to be the creator? Do you know what it takes to be the one that knows how to tame Behemoth and Leviathan, those beasts? Do you know what it means to tell the sea to stop right where it is? He is God alone." I just want us to take another 30 seconds or so just um acknowledge his name. Acknowledge that he is God. Acknowledge that he is king. Acknowledge that he is God. Oo, you are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are you. You are merciful. You are you. You are you. You are wonderful. No one else but no one else but you is the God is your name. God is your name. God is who you are. to you for you proved yourself. So we call you the offense of man of faith don't count. They don't count in this matter. No one else but you, his God. So we lift you high, Yah way. Yah way. So we lift you high, Yahe. lift you high. So we lift you way. So we'll lift you high. So we lift you high. So we lift you way. Let's gra. Lord will lift you high.
I read from Psalms 145. Psalm 145 verse 9-11. Psalms 145:9-11. NLT version says, "The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to angry and filled with unfailing love." The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on on all his creation. Verse 10, pay attention to that. It says, "All of your works will will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you. They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and they will give examples of your power. They would tell about your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of your reign. For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all nation." Pay attention to 10. It says, "All of your works will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you. You and I are the work are the handiwork of the Lord." So because of that, I want you to lift up your voice this morning. Says, "All of your work, we thank you." Why not open your mouth this morning and thank God? Thank God because today is the last Sunday of the year. Not just the last Sunday of the month, but the last Sunday of the year. You spend 52 Sundays in this year. And the Lord has kept you. The Lord has kept your family. The Lord has kept all that is yours. Lift up your voice this morning and say, "Thank you, Lord." Lift up your voice and appreciate God. Remember, you are in God's presence. Your money, you will not take. Your food it will not take. All it deserves from you is your praise. So open your mouth and appreciate God with the fruit of your lips this morning. Say thank you. Even if you don't know what to say, just say thank you. Thank God for the grace. Thank God for mercy. Thank God for joining mercy. Thank God for protection. Thank God for provision. Thank God for roof over your head. Thank God for your home. Thank God for your children. Thank God for your spouse. Thank God for your career. Thank God for your legs that can, you know, you can stand on your two feet. Thank God because you can eat whatever you want at any time. Thank God because you know for low those little things we take for granted, your shoes, your clothes. Thank God for everything. Thank God for everything. Thank you for God for the air that we breathe in. I want to tell you because of that the Lord has been faithful. Not because you prayed yesterday, not because you paid your tithe, not because you fasted EVERY WEEK, BUT JUST because of his mercy that endures forever. Open your mouth and say, "Thank you, Lord."

I was I was doing my clinicals, you know, um last month and there was a there was a man who couldn't use the bathroom and he was on heny tube for for like 5 days and they were passing trays in the hall and he said I wish that was my food. There are so many things we take for granted when we say let's praise God. I was flipping through my phone yesterday and I saw here someone who his picture when he was alive and when he had an accident he was laying down lifeless and we take all these things for granted. Lord we are grateful this morning. Lord we are grateful this morning. Lord we are grateful this morning. Lord we are grateful this morning for the fact that we are not on the sick bed. Lord we are grateful this morning. Lord we give you all the praise in Jesus mighty name we have worshiped.
Now that we have given God his food I want us to pray for concerning the remaining days left in this year you know I discovered that most of God's promises they always backed up with a condition those who stayed you know those who he that dwell in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the might of the almighty you have to dwell in a secret place 145 says says uh verse 18 says the Lord is close to all who call on him. There's a condition you have to call on him. Verse 19 says he grant the desire of those who fear him. You have to fear him. The Lord protect all those who love him. You have to love him. And if you are here you know this morning and you know you have no other God. All you do is to pray to God for protection and you you know you hide under the under his shadow. I want you to lift your voice this morning and say, "Father, for the remaining days left in this year, all that I brought into year 2025 and all that you've added to it, Lord, none of them will go missing. Lord, everything you've blessed me with in year 2025, everything that I brought into year 2025, for the remaining days left in this year, I dwell in your secret place. Lord, I ask for protection for the three days left in this year. None of them will go missing in the mighty name of Jesus. I will not end this year crying, mourning. But I shall end this year with joy. I shall end this year with testimony in the mighty name of Jesus. All that you have given me, both living and non-living, I bring them under your divine protection. Oh God, I pray you will keep them intact for me. You will keep them safe for me to cross over into the new year in the name of Jesus. There shall be no loss of any form in victory court. There shall be no loss. As men that traveled, there shall be no loss, Lord, in the NAME OF JESUS. ALL THAT YOU HAVE BLESSED us with, Lord, we pray that you continue to keep and protect under the shadow of your wings in the name of Jesus. Lord, you will keep them intact in the name of Jesus. So shall thy bands be filled with plenty and thy presses shall bust out with new wine. So, let's pray on our offering. I want us to stretch forth our hands to the offering basket. Let's pray that the Lord will Thank you. Let's pray that the Lord will multiply what we have given. And as we've read this morning, that the Lord will fill our bands. We will fill it up till it overflows in the name of Jesus. Father, Lord, out of the abundance you've given us this morning, we've brought this token to your, you know, to you. Lord, we pray this morning that you will bless us in return in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray for as many who do not have to give. Lord, we pray in your mercy next time, Lord, they will be able to give much more that that they can ever imagine in Jesus name. And Lord, we pray that this morning will be used for the propagation of your gospel in the name of Jesus. As we go into the section of your word this morning, Lord, please speak to us from your throne in Jesus name. Lord, we pray that you speak through your servant. We pray that every word that we hear today, it will fall on good grounds. It will germinate and yield multiple fruits in our lives in the name of Jesus. Lord, we give you all the praise. Glory and honor be unto you. In Jesus mighty name we pray. a believing. Amen.
Let's somebody praise the Lord. Praise the living Jesus. It's a beautiful day to be in the house of God. Amen. The mantle fall on me again today. We give glory to God. It's always a good thing to allow our pastors to do what? To have a time of rest. Is not a joke, you know, coming here every Sunday to minister the word of God to his people. It's a lot of work. Praise the Lord. And I give God the glory even for the privilege to stand there this morning for the grace that God has given. So I want to dwell briefly on the last two announcements. The previous one on the altar of prayers that will be happening next month in the year 2026 January. January 9th is a Friday. We all know our sister Kate you know is a good thing for us to come together to start the new year glorifying honoring the name of our God. So please mark your calendar, plan to be part of it. Let's lift up the name of God together. It will be taking place in this house. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. And the other one is the crossover night on Wednesday, December 31st. So please come early, invite somebody. Let's fill the house of God together. Let's fill it up. Let's rejoice into the new year. Praise the Lord.
Like I said earlier, I received a call from pastor that please are you able to cover for this day. It's always scary, you know, standing here facing people because it's not everybody that have the anointing, you know, to face crowd to minister. Praise the Lord. But I pray that God will help us this morning in Jesus name. So our test is taken from the book of Psalm. Psalm 103 verse 1-5. Just five verses there. The first verse says, "Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name." I'm reading from the New King James Version. Bless the Lord, oh my soul. That's verse two. And forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Verse 5 says, "Who satisfy your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles." Praise the Lord.
Let's have a word of prayer. Father in heaven, we thank you, Lord Jesus. We magnify you for this beautiful day that you have given to us, oh Lord. Because any time that we see a new day, oh Lord, is a gift that you have given and we rejoice in this day. Oh Lord, be lifted up in Jesus name. We pray oh Lord God that you will teach us oh Lord this morning in Jesus mighty name that we will not leave here empty-handed in the name of Jesus. Teach us almighty God that we'll be partakers of your blessing in the name of Jesus. For in Jesus mighty name we pray. For in Jesus mighty name we pray.
I love that song that the choir one of the song they sang earlier that says you made a way. Who has God made a way for this year? Praise the Lord. Our God is unsearchable God. Where we are all seated this morning in this house is nothing that was on our radar at the beginning of the year. But God made a way. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Beloved, life has a way of weighing down on us with trials, struggles, and unmet expectation. Many of times we focus on what we lack or what we fail to have and we forget those things that we already possess because of so many things that is happening around us. We tend to forget things that God have done for us. Praise the Lord. When we give gratitude to God, our gratitude, it turns things that are not sufficient, it turns them to being enough. Praise the Lord. The message I was be speaking on this morning says, "Cant your blessings." Count your blessings. That is the title of our message this morning. Praise the Lord. When we learn how to count our blessing rather than our burdens, life changes for us because believe you me there will always be burden. But when you learn to give gratitude to God, when you learn to focus on him, to believe, to trust in him, to count those blessing that he has given you, you will always live in enough. Praise the Lord. God knows our tendency to forget blessings and to dwell on our problems. When we are facing challenges, we tend to give more attention to those problem rather than praising God who has given us life. You know, praise God, my wife was sharing earlier that during uh what one of our clinical that there is a man saying, "Oh, how I'd wish that that tray of food passing by is mine, but he won't be able to eat it." Praise the Lord. There are so many things that we take for granted. Israel they often forgot what God's goodness in their lives like keeping a gratitude journal or a photo album. You know when you keep those things you can always go back to do what to remember to recollect what God has done. So that message can't your blessing will have three part this morning. The first one is what? Who can say you don't know it because you are not in my note. Praise the Lord. The first one is the command to remember. Praise the Lord. And the second part is the blessings to count. There are blessing that we need to count and that's where we will dwell mostly this morning. Book of our time will be spent on that aspect. The blessings to count and the top part is the attitude of gratitude. Praise the Lord. So let's dive into it. The command to remember. Remembering opens the door for fresh wind. Praise God. We have been in the season of fresh wind, fresh fire. This year we have lost so much. Praise the Lord. David says, "Forget not all his benefits." Why? Because our natural tendency is to what? Is to forget. Especially when certain things comes our way. We tend to forget those things that God has blessed us with. When you sleep in the night and you wake up in the morning, it's not by your power. It's the grace of God that has sustained you that has kept you through the night. Praise the Lord. We easily remember our disappointments but we forget our what our deliverances. We remember our failures but forget our father's faithfulness. I do at times when I'm facing those difficult times I'll be like wow my wife will be cautioning me that bringing me back to the track. How many of us that we have done similar things? Praise the Lord. The book of uh Deuteronomy 8:1 says, "Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping his commandments, his judgments and his statue, which I command you today." 12 L when you have eaten and are full and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them and when your earth and your flocks multiply and your silver and your gold and multiply and all that you have is multiply and when your art is lifted up and you forget the law your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage age. Praise the Lord. He said, "Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God." The command to remember that when those tough challenges comes, always remember those thing that God has done. God seated there on the throne. He is able. Praise the Lord. Psalm 78:30 uh 42 says they did not remember his power the day when he redeemed them from the enemy. Israel remember not his end nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy. When we forget God blessings that leads to ingratitude. It leads to pride and it leads to what? Complaining. will be complaining that we don't have this, you don't have that. I'm still waiting for this. That is why David tells us that he so should not what should not forget. That is the commandment. Do not forget what God has done. Fresh wind does not blow in an atmosphere of forgetfulness. When we forget those blessing that God has showered upon us, that will limit the blow of fresh wind. Fresh winds will blow in the atmosphere of gratitude. When you know how to praise God, how to thank him, how to honor him for those gifts that he has blessed you with, the wind of God will continue to blow to bring freshness into our lives. Praise the Lord. Psalm 126:3 says, "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad. We are happy because of what God has done. How can we apply that to our church to vitriots? Belove God did not accidentally give us this building that we occupy today. This building is approve of what? Answer to prayer. We just came out from retreat. We have gone far into negotiation. There was a land. It's not too far from here. Very small plot of land that we're considering buying. When we buy it, the next thing, okay, you have to like how do we put up a building there? But out of nowhere, God made a way. God opened the door. Not just that alone for a very long time we have been trusting God whenever we go to this lender any bank they will tell us oh your giving unit is not sufficient you don't have enough member to support what you are trying to embark on that journey is not yet for you but go what God is amazing he made a way the seller of this building they are also our lender God just opened the door. Praise the Lord. So we need to remember what God has done. We remember where we started from, the prayers that we have prayed, the delays along the way that we endure and the door that God at the end of the day opened. is only him who can do it. Praise the Lord. This building is a blessing that we must count loudly and what publicly. It is a blessing. What are those blessings in your life that you are able to count that God has done? God is so amazing. Last week I was telling one of our elder ed that God did something for me. I never imagined that could happen this month. Out of nowhere, God just made it happen. You know, when you obey God, when you trust in him and you give yourself, I mean to him, he will always have your back. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Just like keeping a receipt or a record of payment for proof, God want us to keep record of his goodness for testimony. Because if we don't keep those record, how will you able to remember to be able to share? Because many of times when we share our testimony, that's like a boost. That's like an encouragement to other folks around us. Praise the Lord. So we are to keep record of what God is doing.
So now let's jump to point number two. The blessings to counts. Like I said earlier, the blessing of this new building is not just a location. God has placed us here to continue to be a blessing. David said redeems our life from destruction and crowns us with loving kindness. This building that we are all seated in is a place of salvation. Praise the Lord. A place where many soul will be one for God in the name of Jesus. I said it will be a place of healing in the name of Jesus. A place where the fire of God continually burn. Praise the Lord. A place where destiny will be shaped for the bearer in the name of Jesus. Because this is the blessing of God. Psalm 127:1 says, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain. Who build it? Unless the Lord guides the city, the washman stays awake in vain. And the book of Agai chapter 2:9 says, "The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than that of the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place, I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts." It is our prayer that this building will not just hold services but it will be a place where God's presence where God's presence is in the name of Jesus. Wow. Your amen is called your amen needs to be born again. Praise the Lord. You're coming up. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Can'ting our blessing position us for greater fire. David goes further to list the blessing that we should count and we should be grateful for. So going back to our text, the book of Psalm 103. So verse 38 it says who forgives all your iniquity. The very first blessing that we need to count is the blessing of forgiveness of sin. Praise the Lord. The greatest blessing we have is salvation. Without forgiveness nothing else matters. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Praise the Lord. The gift of forgiveness of sin. First John chapter 1 verse9 says, "If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins." That God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. Romans 4:7, blessed are those who lordlessness deed are forgiven and whose sins are covered. Every day that you wake up, forgiving is a blessing that you need to count. Some people they will sleep and they won't have the privilege of waking up anymore. Praise the Lord. The other one that David calls our attention to is the gift of healing. Praise the Lord. That same book of Psalm 103 verse 3B. 3A talks about forgiveness of sin and 3B talks about healing. who heals all your diseases not just single everything God heals them why because God is the greatest physician praise the Lord Exodus 15 verse 26 says for I am the Lord who heals you who has received healing this year has anyone received healing this there. I don't know about you, I have received healing. I have received strength. I can see multiple hands waving in the auditorium there. That is the faithfulness of God. And that's one of the blessing that we need to count. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. I love that book of Isaiah 53:4 that says by his stripes we are healed. Both physical and spiritual healing everything flows from God because he alone allows medicine to work. him alone gives wisdom to the doctor that you runs to because if he doesn't give wisdom they won't be able to diagnose anything. He is our greatest physician. Praise the Lord. Wow. When I'm saying praise the Lord, if you want to say hallelujah, say it with a conviction in your heart or if you don't want to say just but say it. Don't let that cold outside. This place is warm. Praise the Lord. The ether is walking. There are some people that are sleeping under the bridge. Many of times at night because there are certain things around when I'm driving, I will see people they will just I'm like, "Wow, in this country, yes, it's happening. This place is warm enough." Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. The other blessing that we need to thank God for is redemption and deliverance. Psalm 103 verse4 says, "Who redeems your life from destruction." Many of us can testify of accident avoided dangerous escape. I know there was a time that pastor was sharing here. I think was it uh the night of uh praise and worship, right? The all night that he said he drove I mean this is normal routine you know every morning you drive your kids to school to drop them off and as he park right there opening the door his first daughter was crossing the road and young driver just I mean it can only be God. Praise the Lord. saving us from danger. Battles we didn't even know about. God is fighting those battle and victory has always been ours. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. God kept us. Psalm 127 verse I mean 124:7 says our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the foulers. The enemy is always setting traps always looking for means to injure us but because God kept us we are avoiding those dangers. Praise the Lord. Colossians 1:13 says, "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the son of his love." Every time that God spears your life, my life, it is a blessing that we need to count. It is a blessing that we need to glorify God for. So many people say they are not so opportune to escape those dangers. Praise the Lord. The
Other blessings that we need to thank God for is loving kindness and mercy. How many people have obtained mercy this year? Mercy, mercy, mercy. That book of Psalm 103:4 B says, "Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercy?" Mercy is God not giving us what we deserve. But grace is what? God giving us what we don't deserve. Mercy and grace. Lamentation 3:22 says, "It is of the Lord's mercy that we are not consumed. They are nude every morning." Every morning. And Psalm 126:1 says, "Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endureth forever." Every morning that you and I wake up, we are wearing a crown that we do not deserve. A crown that we do not hand. That new life that we have been given to witness that new day. It is the mercy of God. Praise the Lord.
The other blessing that we need to count is the blessing of satisfaction and renewal. That book of Psalm is so rich. Satisfaction and renewal. Verse 5 of that Psalm 103. Who satisfy your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. God satisfies our need, not just our want. Praise the Lord. Philippian 4:19 says, "And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Therefore, do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" Now I've jumped to the book of Matthew. Matthew chapter 6:31. Therefore, do not worry saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" Verse 32 says, "For after all these things the Gentiles seek," meaning those that do not know God, they also seek after all those things. "For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
We are to seek first his kingdom. We are to partake in the work of God. We are to pay our sacrifice. We are to make ourselves available to the work of God. And he renews our strengths. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. They that wait upon the Lord. Let us learn to wait on him. When you face your difficult time, when you face your own time of testing, wait on the Lord. Trust in him. I don't know, maybe it comes with age. In the past, often time I will be so scared when certain things are happening. I'll be so afraid. Then at the end of the day, that weighs you down. Then you can't even do anything. But lately, I've discovered that it doesn't matter. You are owing money, it doesn't matter. Right? It doesn't matter. Just give yourself peace. Let your mind be at peace. God will take care of you. Because when you worry, it will take care of that problem. It will make your head to deteriorate. That is the only thing that is doing to you. So instead of worrying, just let it be that you know what? It is what it is. If I can't handle it, I mean, worrying will not solve it. Just let it go. Let it go. And things will begin to fall in pleasant places for us. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Other blessings that we often overlook is the gift of life. Lamentation 3:23 says, "They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Great is the faithfulness of God. The gift of life, it has kept coming up in my message all and all. When we sleep, we wake up. It's a gift of a new day. Gift of life. We don't meditate, but God has given it to us.
Another blessing is the blessing of families and friends. Look at the ways that we are all seated. So many people, you have your spouses, you have your children, others, you have your siblings, parents, you know, the gifts of families and friends. We need to thank God for that. Praise the Lord.
The other gift, the other blessing is the blessing of provisions. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread." God always provides. He made way. He will always open doors when you trust in him. Yours is just to trust and obey. Allow God to do his work in your life.
The other one, I love this so much. The blessing of peace of mind. Philippian 4:7 says, "And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guide your heart and mind through Christ Jesus." The blessing of what? Of peace of mind. Don't allow your challenges to rule your territory. Don't allow to rule your life. Let the peace of God saturate you. Praise the Lord. Briefly.
The other one is the blessing of the Holy Spirit and the hope of heaven because we know that where we are now, we are just here on a temporary assignment. We are only possessing this earth on a temporary basis. We have a promise, a hope of heaven. Praise the Lord. Amen.
>> Hope I'm not putting you to sleep. Glory be to God. I'm not as focal as pastor, but God is helping us in the name of Jesus.
>> So now that will bring us to our third point. Who can remind us of the third point? Wow. Now I know that you are not sleeping. You are preaching with me. Glory be to the name of God. The attitude of gratitude. Praise the Lord. Here I wrote that gratitude keeps the fire burning. Fire goes out when what? When it is neglected. When we neglect gratitude, the fire goes out. Gratitude is the foil, is the gas for the fire. It doesn't matter the type of car you are driving. Be a gasoline car, an electric vehicle, you still have to do what? You still have to do something. You have to recharge it. Either you are putting gas in it. Thank God. Last night we went for a program. It was start marriage resets. When you drain the gas in your car, in your tank, you have to reset it. Because if you don't put a fresh gas or fill it up, you will meet with the disappointment on the road. Trust me, at some point the car will get to a point to tell you, I don't have food. I'm not going anywhere. It won't take you to that final place that you are going to. And if it is an electric vehicle as well, you have to plug it in to recharge it. Praise the Lord. So we need to cultivate the attitude of gratitude to always give thanks to God. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
>> When Israel m fire stopped when they praised God, what followed? It was victory. They were victorious when they learned how to praise God because gratitude is the food that our heavenly Father cherishes. No amount of money that you bring forth as offering that can supplement a place of gratitude. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
>> As God has given us this building, if we complain about maintenance, about space or logistics, we know that our night of crossover is coming. But forget the miracle. The fire will diminish because God who has brought us here, he knows how to do it. Praise the Lord. We are giving thanks to God for this building. It is a thing of joy and it is our prayer that the fire will continue to increase in the name of Jesus. That unity will continue to increase here in the name of Jesus. And the vision that God has given Victory Court will continue to increase in Jesus mighty name. When we learn how to give thanks to God with our thanksgiving, that will preserve the fire to continue to burn. The book of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Here I say gratitude shifts our focus from what is missing to what is present. You might be saying, "Oh, I'm missing this, that, that. I've been praying, I'm not receiving an answer." Come on, what are you saying? Praise the Lord. When we give gratitude, our focus shifts away from those things that are missing, those things that we are still expecting, and it brings it to the present. Praise the Lord. We won't read that Bible passage. We all know about that story. The story of the 10 lepers from the book of Luke chapter 17, starting from 11. We won't read it. What happened? 10 lepers were healed. How many came back to give gratitude? I can't hear you. Out of the 10, only one returned. But only one returned to give thanks. And Jesus asks, "Where are the nine?" They believed, "Oh, it's a one-off thing. They've received their healing and that's it." When we give gratitude, it makes our healing to be what? To be whole.
The other thing that gratitude does for us, it attracts God's presence, God's blessing into our lives. Philippians 4:6 says, "Thanking, I mean, thanksgiving in prayer brings peace that passes all understanding." Our songs should always be with a grateful heart. "I lift my hands to you. Proclaim, Lord, you reign." That should be our songs with gratitude to God. Praise the Lord. With a grateful heart. Can blessing position us for greater harvest? Luke 16:10 says, "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much." And Psalm 67 verse 5 says, "Then shall the earth yield her increase when we thank God for what he has given us, especially this building." I kept coming back to that. He will prepare us for more souls because God can give us a new bigger place that he doesn't have a plan to fill up. Praise the Lord. The reason why God has brought us here, he is preparing us for what? For more growth. Praise the Lord. He's preparing us for more influence. Influence in our community. Praise the Lord.
So what are the practical ways to count our blessings? One of the ways is praying with thanksgiving. Pray with thanksgiving. That's one of the practical ways that we can count our blessings. Praise the Lord. Another one is we should learn how to write them down. Because when you write them down, you won't forget about it. Keep a gratitude list, a gratitude journal. Keep it to remember what God has done. The other way that we can make it practical is to testify to others. Share your testimony. It will encourage somebody else. Praise the Lord. Share it. The other way is sing songs of praise. Learn to sing songs of praise. And another way is learn how to practice contentment. Praise the Lord. Godliness with contentment is a great gain. That's from the book of 1 Timothy 6:6. That contentment is a great gain.
In conclusion this morning, when we count our blessings, our faith grows. Praise the Lord. Our joys multiply, and our worries will do what? It will shrink. Our worries will be reduced. David says, "I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth." And what does Paul say? "Rejoice in the Lord always. And again, I say, rejoice." Beloved, don't count your problems. Count your blessings. Don't count your losses, count your gain in Christ. Praise the Lord.
As we go into this week, we all know this week will be ending year 2025 and it will usher us into the new year 2026. Take time every day to list at least five things, five blessings, and watch out, your heart is filled with joy and peace. Just count them each day of this week. Maybe the blessing of being able to dig your spoon into that plate. You scoop that food and you take it to your mouth. You are able to eat. The gift of being able to rise up on your feet and walk around. Just make a list and see how your heart will be filled with joy and peace. Praise the Lord.
>> God has answered our prayer. He has brought us into a new season.
>> Now he calls us to serve with what? With fresh humility, with fresh excellence, and with fresh commitment. This season that we are in, this season demands beyond just attendance. It demands that we take ownership. Praise the Lord. Ownership of the blessings that God has given to us. We are no longer a renter. We own this building. And because we own it, make yourself available. I won't mention him. There are people that have made it. They are owners. You know, there's a he will come in with joy. He will go into the bathroom with a glove in his hand. If you see the way he's walking, I'm like, "Wow. Are you doing this for a living?" He does it with joy. This is our Father's. We own this building. Why should we be paying somebody to maintain it for us? Let's take it upon ourselves. Whatever that you are good at, are you good at landscaping? Bring that skill. Praise the Lord. Are you good at designing? Bring it. God bless one of our sisters. There was a time she came. I never knew that something like that, something like a tool like that existed. She came with this powerful long, she was, you know, taking away cobwebs. I'm like, "Wow, God bless you. I need to have one of those tools." And guess what? I borrowed it. Praise the Lord. Because I never knew that such a tool existed. So let's let's take ownership of this because this is the building of God. Praise the Lord.
>> Shall we be on our feet? We're going to give thanks to God. What are we thanking him for? We want to thank him for forgiveness of our sins. It's not by power, not nor by might. Let's give thanks to God. Father in heaven, we thank you this morning, oh Lord God, even for the time of this short exhortation. Oh Lord, we are grateful to you for the many blessings that you have showered our lives with throughout year 2025. We honor you that whenever we come before you, oh Lord God, on our knees, you forgive us our sins. Thank you, Almighty. Thank you, Jesus. Glory, honor, praise be to you. For in Jesus mighty name we pray.
>> We are going to thank him for life, for health, and for provision because God has provided this year. He has made provision. A lot of people, they lost. They lost their job. God, but God did what? He opened way. He made way. He opened doors. It can only be God. It can only be God. Thank him, God. Thank you for providing for me and my family. Thank you for providing for Victory Court, Lord God. For providing for our pastor. Father, we are grateful. Our pastor shared it that for many, many, many, many months he was out of work, out of job, but but this year God opened his door. God made way. That's the provision of God. Give him glory. Give him thanks. We are grateful to you. For in Jesus mighty name we have given thanks.
We are going to make this declaration together. We declare that every good thing that God has begun in this house, say after me. >> We declare that this house shall be a beacon of hope in our community and beyond. We declare that we will not forget the Lord's benefits. We will walk in gratitude, in obedience, and in faith in the name of Jesus.
