So when we say panchang, see, general sense, we think panchang means calendar. Also, don't think it is only a calendar. So panchang is a living clock, okay? So it's a living clock. Living clock of what? Living clock of the universe or sky, okay? So panchang will tell us what kind of time is running right now, okay? What kind of result that time naturally supports.
So these five limbs, punch, the literal meaning of panchang means five. Pancha means five, anga means limbs, five limbs. So together we call it as a panchang. Okay. So what, what are those five limbs and all these things, we will discuss in detail. Now, so in Jyotish, we don't only see planets and houses, remember. We also see the quality of the particular moment, okay? Whenever you do any action, so panchang gives us that quality of time. So panchang is used mainly in four ways, okay? Generally, three things you must have seen, but there are four major applications. First is Muhurta, okay? As I told you, electional astrology, choosing the right time for any event. Choosing the right time, right time for marriage, choosing the right time when you start your business, the right time for travel, uh, right time for surgery, whenever you want to start any medicine, medicine for any uh, illness, for that starting time, you can use panchang, property restoration, interviews, even any spiritual sa. This is Muhurta.
Second application is Prashna. When somebody is asked any question. So panchang tells the mood of that particular moment. Prashna will things move very fast or slow, okay? How that person will see the result. So we give clarity or confusion. So all these things you can see with the panchang.
Third application is daily life guidance. Day-to-day life. You can make your daily planner with the panchang. And the fourth and important application is you can use panchang in your own birth chart also, okay? So you must have taken birth on specific tithi, yoga, karana. So all these things. Okay. So it means there are majorly four applications of panchang. So Muhurta, election astrology, you must have seen. Okay, everybody discussing that part. Okay.
So, so let me give you some brief idea about the Prashna, okay? How we are using the panchang in Prashna. Then we learn from Nitar about the rest of topics of the Prashna. So what is Prashna? Anybody, anybody know the, what is, what is, what is the meaning of Prashna? Yes, ma'am, you want to say anything? You raised your hand. You have to unmute yourself. Now, this is a complete system in itself, okay? If somebody is asking you, asking me a question right now, so I can cast a chart of the present moment. Huh? Today is 8th of February 2026. Time is 15:13 in India. So I will cast a chart for this moment and I, I will answer your question about the job. Are you understanding this? So we don't require a birth chart for this. So you can, you can solve any kind of question with the Prashna. So till now, you must have seen in Prashna, we use some set of rules, houses, planets, rashi, and all. But very few people use panchang in the Prashna. And you know, panchang is a very, very first step. Whether you do Prashna, whether you do horoscope judgment, we should use panchang. Okay.
So this is a live Prashna that we have casted recording in progress last year. And what was the Prashna? I will tell you about this case study, okay? One man calls in my attention, okay? With very tense mood. Three weeks back, when this Prashna was casted at that time, three weeks back, his father got admitted suddenly in the hospital. Insurance approved, okay? Cashless was partially approved. So in India, what we do, we, we have insurance cashless but with cash like this, something like, okay? So after cashless approval, okay? But now the reimbursement claim is done. Hospital says insurer is delaying. The company is delaying from the back end. Agent says document is mismatching. Family is thinking maybe some fraud happened with us. Okay? Now, the person who is asking this question with us. Actual question is, will the money come to me or not? So is it rejection or a cheating or just a delay that we need to identify? And this is a Prashna chart. So we can use any Prashna method here, uh, we can use Tajika Prashna, we can use K.P. Prashna system, we can use Nadi Prashna system here, okay? What I will show you today, how by using simple panchang, you can have an idea, correct, the basic, basic idea of this whole chart. That this can be your first step whenever you deal with any Prashna or any birth chart analysis. So in Prashna, panchang tells the temperature of the situation, okay? What is the question? Okay. Now, now in panchang, step one, we should see Tithi. Can you see Tithi in this chart? See, this is a Jhora. You can use any software for this. Panchang is available in almost all softwares. Can you see this? Okay. Okay. Okay. Shukla. It may be Krishna also, okay? But at this particular moment, when we casted this Prashna, it was Dashi. So Tithi tells the result nature, okay? The nature of the result. Shukla Dashi is a preservation Tithi. So we will learn about it, okay? Like this, every Tithi has some basic nature, preservation. Okay? This is the understanding of the Dwadashi, especially Shukla Dashi. So Krishna reflects something else, okay? Don't worry about this, how we reach to the preservation part, okay? This is the predefined nature for this particular Tithi. So we will learn this individually, okay? So Shukla Dashi is a preservation Tithi. It usually supports release of a stuck things. If something is stuck, means that stuck thing should be released. Clear approvals is all about approvals, and Shukla means settlement after correction. These three are natural results of Shukla Dashi. So in any Prashna, if you plus three, so you can conclude these three results at a very first stage. So it will give you the basic framework of mind, correct? So with that basic framework, now you can see the rest of the planetary positions and all. So very first understanding, you have understood this is not a total rejection chart. So there is the protection. This protection is only this close, but it, but it is also saying it will come after one correction. So one correction is needed. So their money will reach to them, but after one correction. So till now, we don't know what is the correction part. But this Tithi is telling us something need to be correct, and then money will be released. So this case is not of fraud also, not of permanently stuck money.
Now, see, by seeing only one, one Tithi, you can predict it. Rest of the planetary positions, we have not seen yet. So that will give us some additional information, okay? Similarly, after Tithi, we can use V, means what? Weekday. That is also a part of panchang, okay? So weekday. Can you see this weekday? Weekday. This is V. We also call it V. So weekday is also part of panchang. First, then weekday, that is Thursday. Now Thursday, we call it Guru. Thursday means Guru. Thursday is ruled by which planet? Jupiter. So always understand weekday or Var tells who controls the outcome, who is controlling the final outcome of the Prashna or any result. So result is controlled by Jupiter. What is the meaning of it? The result is controlled by seniors. Result is controlled by advisors. That is what Jupiter means. Result controlled by compliance with rules. Maybe finance department, that is Jupiter, and proper paperwork. So we can tell that client, don't fight like a strict argument, okay? Just produce them documents and see what, what is exactly the rules for all these things, and you can solve it. Now, see the horoscope. Jupiter is in Taurus and see this, that weekday lord is Jupiter. That Jupiter is placed in Taurus sign in which house? 10th house, okay? So Jupiter is in Taurus, 10th house from Leo Lagna. 10th house is what? Authority, institution. And 10th house is a final approval desk. Can you see this V and the chart both are matching together? And the last part of this thing is Karana. Can you see this Karana part? This is V. Now again, we have many uh, kinds of Karana, and every Karana will give you different kind of outcomes. But in terms of Prashna and all, Shubha Karana supports whatever is with a practical action, okay? Practical action. Understand Shubha Karana means practical action. Practical action in this context, okay? See, Prashna, you need to deal with very carefully, very carefully, because depending on the type of Prashna, we need to use the Karaka planets and all elements of panchang accordingly, correct? Depending on the context, we need to use the Karaka planets. So here, practical action. What your practical action in the context of insurance and all? This is how we use the panchang in the Prashna. Similarly, we can use it for Muhurta. You pick any kind, kind of activity. That kind of activity shows some kind of energy. That if you want to, if you want to deposit huge amount of money in your bank, and you are looking for best time to do it, so that you will get best return out of it. We are depositing money in bank. Why? Because we want some good return, maybe in mutual funds or something. So now you are asking your astrologer, which will give me good return? So for those things, we have specific combinations in the panchang. We can use some specific Nakshatra, some specific Tithi, some Yoga. When you combine all these things, you can guide your client, okay? Deposit your money on this particular day. But that is application in Muhurta, election. That's why we are saying panchang is very, very basic thing. That, that is your first starting point. That can be your starting point, and it will give you confidence. Now, see this Prashna. Before we do assessment of chart, okay? You will have basic idea of whole outcome, correct? Now, with that basic perception, whatever you have in your mind after seeing this panchang, okay? You can do your analysis. It will give you basic framework. Yes, sir. You want to ask anything? Yes, sir. Sir, as per you said, this panchang, the Nakshatra lord is, but sir, by worshipping or by saying the Gajendra Moksha Stotra, will it be helpful for him? Yes, it is helpful. But the, but the thing is, there is one rule in the panchang. Okay? We need to follow that rule. Says you have to answer those things only which is asked by your client, correct?
