Top 5 Claude Code Skills + Tools for Design (April 2026)

Cloud code sucks at front-end design. So, here are my top five cla code tools to help you fix that problem.

Number one on the list is impeccable. It is one skill that includes 18 different commands that improve everything about your UI. It handles everything from typography to borders to accessibility. And what's really cool is it links to this website where you can see the before versus after scenarios of using Impeccable in these sort of AI web designs.

Number two on the list is one you probably haven't heard of yet because it just came out. And that is skill UI. And this is all about reverse engineering websites that already exist and turning them into a system design markdown file. That means I can use that skill and point it at something like Stripe and then have Claude Code create a website that looks just like it. This is way more than just giving it screenshots. It uses stuff like Playright to help actually break down what happens as you do things like scroll or interact with different buttons.

Number three on my list is the T skill. And again, this is all about getting away from standard AI design. By using the taste skill, we're able to get web pages that look like this or like this.

Tool number four is awesome design. This is similar to skill UI and where it's essentially creating a markdown file for us that explains how to create a website that looks like one that's already out there and exists. So on this GitHub, I can click on something like Versel and I will then get a design system based on Verscell, including their color palette, their typography, what they do for buttons and cards, essentially giving me all the component parts of their website.

And last but not least is the UIUX Pro Max skill. This is what the front-end design skill from Claude Code should be because it essentially is trained on a bunch of different websites based on function. So, if you use the UI Pro Max skill, you're not going to get the same SAS type template you see everywhere. So definitely try these out if you're trying to improve your design.
