The biggest star we know of is so large it breaks your intuition. It's called U Y Scooty.
If you replace the sun with it, it wouldn't just swallow Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. It would reach past Jupiter and keep going. Light needs over 7 hours to go around at once.
Now, here's the part that actually matters. UI Scooty isn't hotter. It's not brighter per square meter. It's just inflated. so massive that gravity is barely holding it together. Its surface is leaking into space. Atoms drifting away, slowly unmaking the star.
And stars like this don't die quietly. They don't fade. They collapse, rebound, and explode so violently their debris becomes future planets, oceans, bones. This is the punchline. The largest stars live the shortest lives. They burn fast, die young, and seed the universe with everything else. Size isn't dominance.
