Every day, a man shoots and kills a robot because he's trying to figure out if they can feel fear.
One day, he learns that one of the robots has developed its own consciousness and even killed the doctor who created it. Jack, determined to find the killer robot, locks all the robots in a warehouse to track it down.
As the man tries to shoot one of the robots, something strange happens. One of them moves, but when Jack rushes to catch it, the robot quickly returns to its original position, leaving Jack confused.
Surrounded by so many robots, Jack starts feeling uneasy, distracted, and focused only on his target. He suddenly gets attacked by the killer robot, which throws him across the room.
Jack believes he's about to die, but the robot doesn't kill him. Instead, it jumps to escape. However, before it can get far, the police surround the robot. It tries to climb a wall to get away but is eventually caught.
The police arrest the robot and send Jack to interrogate it. During the interrogation, Jack is shocked because the robot appears to show human-like emotions. The robot flatly denies having killed anyone.
