Here's a quick prompting hack that I use that saves me errors, and it works with any prompt. AI will always give you a response, but better prompts get better answers. So, how can you easily improve all your prompts?
It's simple: ask AI to rate your prompt on a scale of 1 to 10, and then ask, "What would make this a 10 out of 10?" Let me show you.
Let's say you need to write a follow-up email after a meeting. Your basic prompt might be: "Write an email summarizing the meeting's discussion points." You get a response, but it's not quite there. Maybe it's too bland or doesn't pop.
Here's the hack: Instead of reworking the prompt yourself, ask, "Rate this prompt on a scale of 1 to 10." If it gives you a 3 out of 10, a 6 out of 10, or even a 9 out of 10, follow up with, "What would make it a 10 out of 10?"
