Hey, it's Dan. Welcome back to I Allegedly. I've got a really good one for you today because we're going to talk about grants you didn't know that existed. Grants you can apply for right now for your business, for your own personal use to pay your bills. We're going to cover a lot today.

Now, I've been in business 40 years and uh one thing that I got into was helping people raise money. I have helped people raise millions of dollars. I have helped people buy businesses, sell businesses, consult for them, a little bit of everything. The advantage to this is that grants, grants themselves are the most amazing things because you can get money to remodel your house. You can get money to pay your bills. You can get money to expand your business. And the best part is it doesn't have to be paid back. That's the best part.
Now, what inspired this video is I have contributors to my channel. And arguably one of the best contributors is somebody I mention his name every day, but he sent me a personal note and he never told me that I could I could give his name out in regards to this one thing. So, I'm just going to tell you the guy's in Florida. That's all I got to say.
Now, one thing that he did was he and his wife found a program within their county that would help pay for home remodeling. He got a $4,500 free grant to redo his windows. Now, Florida guys, hurricanes, storms, everything that's bad, they're very expensive. Storm windows are expensive. Imagine getting a $4,500 coupon that you don't have to pay back. Now, I know that that covered everything because he didn't pay a dime to get that done. How amazing is that? How amazing is that?
Now, people sit there, no one's going to get this. You got to be connected. You got to know who's involved. It's all ridiculous and fake. No, it's not because this individual is a professional. This individual has been on TV, written books. He is amazing. But imagine getting a $4,500 coupon. Now, imagine if your storm windows are the decent ones are $3,800. The really good ones are $6,500. Imagine having a $4,500 coupon you didn't have to pay back to get the best home improvement. The advantage to this is not only do people have to answer to the state agencies when you know and consumer affairs and things like that, the contractors that you hire have to answer to these, you know, grant companies that or agencies within your city. It's the greatest thing in the world because you get the best work done, you know, once you tell them that you've got this program.
Okay. So apply for everything. Search for everything. I'll circle back to that. There are five business grants right now that you can apply for. They're for everything from community-focused businesses, small teams, overlooked entrepreneurs, retail stores, or ambitious startups. So, this covers absolutely everything.
Okay, first one's first. Into It Mailchimp Small Business Program, $20,000 grant to support your business. Now, I use Mailchimp. I'm like, wow, I should apply for this thing. Social media promotion to increase visibility, free access to QuickBooks, which is a lot of money, and it would and it would be great. Your accountant would love it if you said, "Yeah, I got a year of QuickBooks for free." You know, must be a US, uh, US-based business. Must have been operating for at least one year. Must have 99 or fewer employees, which is everybody. It's all of us guys have less than that.
Okay. Now, next thing. UPS Store Small Business Challenge. Now, the advantage to this, it's a $25,000 uh grant program. Now, the advantage to these programs, guys, is that is that, you know, someone's going to get 25 grand, someone's going to get uh $5,000. You get access to the UPS Store, you get access to discounted shipping, uh benefits of packaging, plus they give you business advice. And again, this is worth applying for. Everybody should apply for that that has a business.
SBA's Small Business Grant is designed to help entrepreneurs overcome challenges to accelerate their growth and uh target small business owners. $2,500 in funding with full discretion on how to use it. In other words, spend it, baby. You know, you just can't, you know, you can't go buy silver with it. You've got to put it into the company. Support businesses at any stage from startup to the growth phase. So if you're out there, you could apply for this one. All these links will be below, guys, that you can look at and take a look at. Must be 21 years older, must operate in the United States. Pretty simple stuff.
The Faire Fall Small Business Program is continuing to support independent retailers. Now, do you need help getting uh uh, you know, inventory things for your store? Gosh, Dan. We'd always wanted to try these different gift baskets from this company, but they have a $2,500 minimum order. Well, not a not a concern anymore, guys, because you got five grand you could get from Faire.com. So, again, they also have wholesale products, too, that they sell and they're promoting that as well. But again, go apply. Go apply today.
Number five, 500 Global Flagship, $150,000 investment to your business. Participation in a four-month accelerator program, mentorship. Now, I am super familiar with these accelerator programs and what happened in the medtech and biotech space was, let's say there is a company that wants to do digital healthcare. Well, what they did was they had their own incubator and their own club and how to raise money for these people. Brought all these people in to help them raise money and then had a competition for everybody. And guess what? The winners were funded by the company. The people that they thought that uh still showed potential, they were given mentorship and they could run their companies. It was the most successful way to do this. But again, the day-to-day grind of running your company, people put this aside and they don't want to sit there and, you know, try to think out of the box, which is what you have to do.
I, during COVID, helped people raise millions of dollars during that time. I had one woman that raised well over $300,000 from her grants in Arizona and wrote me. I had restaurants. I had retailers. I had people get so much money from this. And uh, you know, I know one restaurant that got almost 900 grand during that uh uh restaurant program. $900,000. They never had to pay it back. Never. Think about that.
Please do not forget that we have a private channel called I Allegedly Live and it's all the uncensored stuff. Please make sure that you're subscribed to my channel. There's a lot more to cover. But once again, help people do this. Do an ounce of research. Get yourself ready. And you can sit there and say, "Oh, Dan. Never going to get this money. It's never going to work." You think that that guy in Florida, he told me, "Wow, I applied for it, Dan, and uh they, you know, we got $4,500. $4,500 bucks. No one's given me $4,500, guys. No one's going to give you $4,500 to do your windows in your house." Those programs are out there. Search your county that you live in for whatever you need, whether it's paying your bills, eating, remodeling, whatever. Do you have your grandmother's house or a relative or a neighbor that is hurting right now that has an old dilapidated house? Odds are there's money out there to help this person right now.
So with the big beautiful bill that got signed, it freed up certain things that people don't know about. It also froze funding for people that should never have been eligible by the SBA. So what do you think? Oh, they're just freezing that money. It's going to sit there. No, they're going to give it to somebody else. You need to apply. You need to apply. You need to apply. Minority businesses, gold. Women-owned businesses, gold. Right now, everything. What? Whatever your niche is, they will help you. Okay?
There's a lot more to cover on this. Now, let's talk about getting help for individuals. You know, think about this. Not everybody is living in 80° weather right now. It's very cold across the country right now. And a lot of people have not planned for a rainy day. Let's just put it that way. My son and his roommate, you know, do two totally different jobs. My son's roommate's an electrician who can't work in the snow right now outside, so he has to do nighttime jobs and things like that inside. They're fine because one thing that they promised me, and I talked to them about this a couple days ago, is making sure that they have the rent saved for a couple months. So, it's put aside in an account. They got their rent paid. Now, the electric bill is going to be higher because of the intense cold and uh they're protected. Not everybody can do that. Not everybody can say that and I understand it.
So, I want you to look at a few things. Okay. First one, we're going to do five of them. Findhelp.org. Free money programs for rent, bills, debts, business, food, housing, and more. It's all based on where you live. So, there's programs locally for you. HUD.gov, you know, they've got grants to help you with housing. They've got grants to help you pay your bill. Uh career1stop.org, or you know, pay you money to train, change your jobs. Think about this. There are so many programs out there that will train you to be an electrician. Let's use that job. And you could go out and finally change your job to get the career that you want. Some of these programs, it's just money. Some of them go as high as $40,000 they'll pay of your education. Somebody's going to get it, guys. Somebody's going to get it.
Needymeds.org. Or for prescriptions, high price of co-pays. And again, it could be $50 for some people and they can't afford their co-pays. Doctor visits, dental care, health services, you can't afford. Needymeds.org. You know, the other thing is the SBA. I mentioned them a little earlier. The SBA Small Business Administration is going through a transformation right now where a lot of people have fleeced the system and because it was done originally in the Trump first Trump administration, second administration, really didn't shake these people down. They just let these people steal. The problem with it is that now they're shutting these people off that are from foreign countries that are living out of the country and have our government free money. No, sorry. These are designed for people that live within the United States and they have all these different programs. There is an SBA office strategically located throughout the country. Where is the nearest SBA office? Now, if they are not within driving distance, you can call them and ask them for different programs. SBIR has different programs. You have to look at these places for research. And you know, you could be a scientist. You could be in the bio or medtech space. You could be a retailer. You could be wanting to run a food truck. Your dream business, you could get money for and start it today. You just have to go out and answer the questions. Do not be afraid of the truth. Oh, I'm brand new. I just want to learn how to do this. There are so many of these programs that will help you get through this and create a business that could be thriving, that could make you succeed, feed your family, pay your bills, and move your life forward in a completely different direction.
Now, so many people have written me about grants and getting help. Do not be ashamed of it. Final two sites that one of them I was going to mention to close this out and then I found another one. 211.org is basically a local search. And what the local search does is it gives you, you know, do you need help with housing? Do you need help with medications? Do you need help with rent? Do you need help with uh paying your bills, paying your cell phone bills? They can point you. Oh, what city are you in, Dan? Oh, I'm over here in Orange County. Oh, you know, if you contact this one, they've got this program. So, 211.org.
Now, the final one that I stumbled upon when I was looking up 211.org to get the link for you was pa211.org. I'm like, PA211? Is that Pennsylvania? Yeah, it is. Hey, do you need help paying your your electric bill or heating bill because of the cold that we've experienced lately? Go to pa211.org. Hello, guys. What? You think Pennsylvania is the only state that has this? I am telling you, please do me a favor. Be kind to other people. Share this video with people and just have them watch it. It's going to be, you know, under 15 minutes. So, it's going to be something quick, but they can benefit from it. There are people out there trying to start a business, people out there trying to pay their bills and get by and eat. The food banks are overwhelmed. I have all of these people that have written me that run these things and tell me one thing. They have been inundated this winter. Not everybody has this weather. Not not everybody's got a line logging into the park right now, if you know what I mean. It's crazy.
Please do yourself a favor. Share this video, but put your thinking cap on. Do not wallow in desperation. Go out and understand that there are free programs out there that you can get. My contributor in Florida got a $4,500 coupon to do his windows and cover the expense of his brand new windows. Who wouldn't want that? You know what it was? An application.
