ROS Rankings + Full Week 4 Game-by-Game Recap

Good morning, friends and enemies. We're checking back in after the week four slate of NFL games, as we do every single Monday afternoon. We're going to go game by game. We're going to let you know every single thing that happened. You could not watch football on Sundays if you wanted to and just come in here, and you will be fine for fantasy football.

So, we're talking about who's taking over as starter, who's running the snaps, who's taking the routes, switch those two things, what injuries happened that you need to know about. Everything that you need to know, I will be throwing into your face hole about week four. Looking forward to week five, the early waiver wire pickups, all that kind of stuff before we jump into the game-by-games, which I again always do on Mondays. I, uh, was going through a little bit of a thought experiment this morning and wanted to share it with you guys. As you can see in the title of the video, the rest of season rankings. I said if I was ranking right now, right, if the season started right now based on what we know, but in week five, so injuries are still among us. Uh, what would be the first round of fantasy picks right now? And that is full PPR. This is one quarterback. So, this is how I had the players laid out 1 through 12 here. And, uh, surprisingly, no one cooked my ass. I don't think there was a huge amount of disagreements. There's a couple players that people liked, disliked, whatever, whatever, whatever. I felt pretty good about this list, though. It is a, is a running back-dominated list right now. And, you know, some guys were big movers after this weekend. Of course, we try not to get too overreactionary with the rankings of specific players. And we'll start at the top. We'll give a, a brief explanation. I mean, Puka, no, no real explanation necessary at this point. He is on pace for about a bajillion catches, a bajillion targets, a bajillion, uh, yards, all that and etc. And it's every single week. It's 10 catches for 140 yards. That was, uh, probably my best call of the offseason was that I was, you know, if Stafford played and stayed healthy, Puka is going to have a Cooper Kupp 2021 type of season, and he is very much on pace for that.

Breece Hall is an animal right now. He's consistently going over 100 yards from scrimmage and scoring weekly. Uh, Gibbs has completely overtaken David Montgomery in both workload and efficiency in the Detroit Lions offense after week one. Greatly exaggerated downfall. So they're still very, very good, and Gibbs is even better than very, very good. So you can make the case for any of these running backs to be honest with you. Breece Hall, Gibbs, JT, CMC, and even down to like James Cook. I, I don't think there's a clear guy that if you were like, "Hey, I wanted to take CMC at two," I would be upset about it. JT is a [ __ ] magician right now. And he's had some days that weren't hitting his ceiling, but it feels like it's never on him, right? Like he's had so many big plays called back, and even yesterday had a ridiculous touchdown run that was called back from an A.J. Brown holding call. He would have been right back at his, you know, 25-27 normal PPR points. He's getting even more involved in this passing game. And that's a lot. And thanks to the fact that this Colts offense is running smoothly, and they're able to push the ball downfield, and they're able to sustain drives, which was not the case the last year or so. Um, so Daniel Jones has kind of breathed new life into this offense. So JT, CMC, the reason I put CMC down at five, he's like the bottom of this tier one. He looks like ass running the ball. Like he looks really bad. He looks slow, which doesn't really matter for PPR because he's still getting a million targets. But from this moment onward, I am skeptical that he could hold up on this workload. One, because he looks a little bit slow. Like, at what point does that start to, to hurt him? His his overall efficiency and [ __ ] just go downhill. Two, I mean, I don't know. I, I can't predict when these injuries are going to swing back to, to normalcy here. But a lot of the targets that he's getting come from the fact that all these players are injured, right? Jauan Jennings has been injured, been in and out of yesterday's game. Ricky Pier was in and out of yesterday's game with the knee injury. George Kittle's obviously been out. Brandon Aiyuk's been out, but you know, you hit week eight and and what's the target distribution look like there? What's his running role look like there? So, still probably very high. And don't get me wrong, I'm arguing whether or not CMC should be the number [ __ ] two overall player or the number five overall player. No problem here, but that's just my thought process.

Breece Hall, James Cook, lead back, goal line back in the NFL's probably best offense. Bucky Irving was a clear like if you were able to buy him off of like bad efficiency numbers the last couple weeks. Tristan Worfs was back, played a full slate of, uh, snaps there. They, you know, he had a couple bad yards per carry games just because the offensive line was missing so many pieces. Outside of that, Bucky yesterday pulled up for a buck 65 from scrimmage, uh, against the Eagles defense, and he's catching balls, he's scoring touchdowns. Like Bucky is so good right now. JSN. Honestly, I think you could put JSN where Amon-Ra is, I just think his touchdown ceiling is a little bit lower just based on the offense, which is why I have him at nine. But if he ends up catching 120 passes this year, won't be surprised at all. Him and Sam Darnold have like a legit, legit connection. Jacobs, um, I think we're going to have more games like we saw last night from him, and I think we're going to have more games that we saw weeks two or three from him, where just attach him to a really good offense. He's going to have a ton of scoring opportunities. They're getting him more involved in the passing game. So, that's obviously good to see after like no involvement in weeks one or two. But again, that's one of those don't overthink this pick. Like you're never going to regret grabbing a guy like Josh Jacobs, uh, because the Packers offense is running so smoothly. Amari Cooper, next guy up. I mean, first game with Naji out, 90% of the snaps, looked awesome. Finally got to display a little bit of that like 4.4 speed here. Uh, broke off a big long run. Giants defense. So, you know, don't want to get over our skis here, but, uh, Cooper looked great, and I just think this Chargers offense is going to continue feeding him the ball. Got nothing behind him. And we got Josh Allen where like at this point, I don't know what else we could [ __ ] do. The guy just puts up 25 to 27 fantasy points per game. I, the old like late round quarterback [ __ ] needs to be out of our brains because he's such a separator, uh, in this part of the game.

And then followed up a little bit of a screenshot with honorable mentions here. I left Saquon out, which I think you could make the exact same argument I just did for Josh Jacobs with Saquon Barkley. That was kind of an oversight. I forgot about him somehow. But I think you could also argue that he's like the 10 to 15 right now. His efficiency's dipped a little bit. He looks like he's lost a little bit of juice. I don't know if it's the offensive line playing a little bit more poorly or just the touch count from last week is kind of, or last year has kind of slugged him down a bit. But other obvious honorable mentions are Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Nico Collins, Travis Etienne, Quentin Johnston, Ashton Dulin, Kyren Williams, and then Lamar Jackson. Lamar, the hamstrings obviously going to be a big, uh, pillar of whether or not we'd take him rest of season highly. Um, everyone else on this list, if you disagree with it, I promise you you're just overreactionary. Like Derrick Henry, you hate him, but like he was great in week one, and then they've played three of the toughest run defenses in the NFL since then. And I promise you when weeks, uh, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 hit, when he's playing the Bengals and then the Jets and then the Bengals and then the Cowboys, you're going to be like, "Fuck, I wish I had Derrick Henry on my team again." So, uh, don't take a short-term view to a long-term solution with Henry. But whatever, rest of season, those are my top 12 guys. You guys are not here for that. Nobody's here for that. No one gives a [ __ ]. Let's get into the game-by-game recaps. Let me put myself on the bottom of the screen real quick. Bing, bang, boom.

We'll start off with Thursday Night Football. We've got Seattle at the Arizona Cardinals. Seattle takes them down 23-20. Sam Darnold keeps slinging the ball. I think the only real takeaway here for Seattle is that backfield split continues to be a backfield split. Despite Kenneth Walker looking two times as good as Zach Charbonnet every time he touches the ball, there's still a clear, clear liking of Zach Charbonnet here. And I don't think it's going anywhere. And this was one of my concerns going into the game with Kenneth Walker is I don't know, I can't confidently say who is going to get the goal line touches in this back, in this backfield. And it continues to be, uh, Zach Charbonnet a lot of the time. So in week four, he was the one who got the two goal line carries inside the five-yard line rush attempts. He played on seven of the eight long down and distance snaps. He played on all of the two-minute drill snaps. So like they, it's just one of those situations where it's like this guy is probably not the pass-catching back, but we're using him in a pass-catching capacity. And we see that all the time. Kenneth Walker, the better early down back, but that does not always translate into pure fantasy production. He has a clear running mate in the backfield that's going to hamper him all season. So Walker, like on his good days, he's going to be awesome. On his bad days, he's not going to be the guy that gets the goal line score or catches the passes. So he has a weekly floor of an RB3. He has a weekly ceiling as a top 15, top 12 guy, obviously, but that's just the way you got to look at it going forward.

On the Arizona side of things, I mean, more up and down roller coaster play from Kyler Murray. That's just literally what he is at this point. Um, I don't know why people would try to make it look any other way. Marvin Harrison, a brutal first half, ended up getting home, had a really nice touchdown catch after multiple drops in the first half, 10 targets. So, like you can feel better about it if you want to. I still, again, like I, people are so reactionary to one-week sample sizes over and over and over again. Like people are going to be like, "Yeah, Marv's good. Marv's back. I feel good about him as a wide receiver too." It's like, why? There's nothing changed from last week to this week other than he happened to catch a touchdown this week. So to me, Marv is still a very shaky wide receiver three right now that it's hard to trust on a week-to-week basis despite the good game. Trey Benson's first game without James Conner here. Let's take a look at the backfield snaps here. Benson was obviously the, uh, workhorse, though Amari DeMarco did play a ton of the, uh, pass-catching snaps. As you could see, 93% of the long down and distance snaps, played all the two and four-minute drill snaps. That was some of the optimism when it came to Trey Benson was that he was playing that role prior to James Conner going down. So maybe they give him all that. But this is kind of the way the Arizona Cardinals have operated over the last few years with this coaching staff in that they do have a workhorse who plays on the majority of the early downs, and then they have a random dedicated passing down back. But overall, Benson saw about 70% of the carries here. He ran more routes than DeMarco, which is going to be the case because he plays on all the, um, all the early downs. And then, you know, listen, this is a tough matchup against Seattle. They're a very, very good defense. In game scripts where, uh, Arizona has better matchups, which is going to be coming, like next week they play Tennessee, and then Indianapolis. So, Tennessee next week, I feel great about playing Trey Benson there. Big workload, great matchup. Like he'll be the goal line back and probably score a touchdown next week. So, um, Trey Benson, yeah, a little bit underwhelming in the first start for him, but I think this is going to be the case when they're playing really, really tough defenses, but he's got a very high floor just based on his volume going forward. So, good to see for Trey Benson. I think ultimately too, the eye test, he looked good. Like, again, not a great in-between the tackles runner, but if they run successful outside runs, like outside zone runs, and he can hit the outside of the tackle, like he's very explosive. So, big plays are the show coming with Trey Benson.

Let's move to the Sunday slate of games. We have our first Dublin game for the NFL. The Steelers take it down 24-21 over the Vikings. Um, very high volume passing day for Wentz because they were in catch-up mode for, uh, most of the second half. So 46 pass attempts. Gets the 350 thanks in large part to a really big, uh, pass to Jordan Addison. So Jordan Mason had a down game. Uh, I'm not overly concerned about that. Aaron Jones probably still has another two to three weeks at minimum that he needs to miss in this one. Good to see Justin Jefferson have a good game. So Jordan Addison's first game back. We're not really concerned about guys missing time from suspension. Like they usually get put right into the lineup as soon as, um, as soon as they're back on the field. Whereas guys who miss like multiple weeks because of an injury, we're a little bit more skeptical towards their first or second game back in the lineup. But Addison picked up right where he left off last year. Eight targets, four catches, 114 yards. And, um, I think the quarterback question mark is still very much in play here. They play in England next week. Minnesota does, uh, at or against Cleveland. So that's going to be a tough matchup to, um, just move the ball against, I think, with Carson Wentz at the quarterback position. So Addison is going to be on the borderline like wide receiver three range for me. But he's right back to being the Addison of old here.

On the flip side, we had a random healthy scratch, not healthy scratch, I should say, sorry. Uh, a random scratch of Jaylen Warren, who had been dealing with like soreness throughout the week, but no one really suspected him of missing the game. And then all of a sudden, Sunday morning, an active came out and Jaylen Warren was not playing, which vaulted Kenneth Gainwell into, uh, a bell cow role pretty much. 20 carries, 99 yards, two touchdowns, six catches, 35 yards to the air. DK had a massive game thanks to an 80-yard touchdown, uh, catch and run. We even saw Caleb Johnson get a little bit of run here. Six for 22 on the ground. Uh, I don't think Jaylen Warren's injury is anything serious. So I think people are going to get like really excited about Kenneth Gainwell, which like literally happens three times a year on the waiver wire for Kenneth Gainwell. He's not a guy that I'm going to overly spend on. I think leading up to this game, Jaylen Warren became, you know, the guy in this backfield. He became the bell cow here, and then, um, he was out, and then Kenneth Gainwell just kind of transformed into that role because they don't have any trust in Caleb Johnson here. So if Warren misses more time, sure, Kenneth Gainwell should absolutely be owned in all formats. But in games where Jaylen Warren plays, Gainwell's floor is so [ __ ] low that you can, you can never really play him. So I would let someone else, uh, spend their fab dollars on Kenneth Gainwell for the time being. He should be owned, but like, don't, don't go crazy over it because we know his floor. We've seen him for the last four years. We know who Kenneth Gainwell is. This was the best game of his career by far. Not even [ __ ] close. Um, but as soon as Jaylen Warren's back, I think it's Jaylen Warren's backfield. Gainwell probably earned a little bit more trust from the coaching staff in Pittsburgh, maybe a little bit more volume, but again, he's just not, I don't know. He's just not my type of player in fantasy.

Falcons, Washington. How you doing? How you doing? Division [ __ ] up for grabs. Easiest bounce-back game call of all time for Michael Pittman Jr. and this receiving room. Breece Hall still the goat. Drake London, huge bounceback. Biggest news here is the, um, is the hamstring pull for Darnell Mooney. And basically what that means is Drake London is going to get a thousand targets. In games where Darnell Mooney does not play, Drake London sees an obscene target rate. So Drake London owners, [ __ ] strap up because you're about to get hit with a steroid injection. Uh, on the flip side, we have Marcus Mariota getting another start. I believe Jayden Daniels should be back next week. So for those y'all that have him, feel pretty good about it. The backfield is still completely a split back, uh, back here. Rodriguez and J.C.M. both got seven carries. Jeremy McNichols only two carries, but, uh, Jeremy McNichols was the pass-catching back again in this one. When we look at the actual snaps, it is so close in this one. 34% and 34% for J.C.M. and McNichols, 40% for Chris Rodriguez. Uh, the rushing attempt numbers, as you can see again, 7, 7, 2. The routes were in favor of McNichols. It's just like they're just flipping back and forth between drives. And then in obvious passing down situations, it's McNichols. Um, in long down and distance, two-minute drills, but he doesn't need to be owned. I think Rodriguez should probably be owned because he's typically getting the starts and getting the majority of carries, but they didn't get any goal line carries in this one. So, it's still tough to say who's going to get them. I just think it's more of a matter of like who's the player that's in on that drive. So, I think J.C.M. and Rodriguez both should be owned. They're both more like RB4s right now that you need to be pretty desperate to have in, uh, in your lineup, but you know, it is what it is. Uh, Terry McLaurin still out in this. So Debo kind of ate. Six for 72 and a touchdown. Luke McCaffrey, I'm sure we're going to hear some buzz about him. He scored again, but he's still playing like, legit, I think 30% of the snaps right now. So we will not dive into Luke McCaffrey waiver wire section here. Yeah, Chris Moore, legit playing more snaps than him. Um, I also actually wanted to bring up from a previous game. What was it? It was the Vikings. The Vikings lost Ryan Kelly in this one, who they signed over the offseason from the Colts. He's their center. I want to say, if I saw correctly, he may have suffered a, a concussion again, and I want to say it's already his second concussion of the season. So, very likely without him. They were already without Donovan Jackson, their first round offensive lineman. And then Brian O'Neill, their, one of their really, really, really good tackles, also left the game. So, there's a chance that Minnesota's down pretty significantly on the offensive line, which has kind of been a theme along the entire [ __ ] NFL this season so far.

Bills and the Saints. Uh, the Bills, I would say virtually manhandled the Saints. 12-point game. The spread was like 16 and a half. I, I, you know what, the Saints actually kept us competitive most of the game, even though they weren't very, very good. Uh, Rattler, 18 for 27, 126 yards, and a touchdown. I would like to say they're going to make a quarterback move soon just because Rattler can literally not win a game, but I'm afraid Tyler Shough is probably significantly worse than Spencer Rattler. So, I think they're going to keep rolling him out here. Bad day for A.L.A.V. doesn't really get, uh, home. Did lead the team with six targets, but didn't amount to much. He did throw an interception as well, uh, in this one on a [ __ ] stupid kind of end-around throw from him to Rattler. Did not work. One of the bigger storylines I would say is the backfield here. Kamara, 15 for 70. Kendre Miller, 11 for 65 and a touchdown. Kendre Miller keeps kind of adding to his highlight reel. He looks really good at times, like some of the carries, and clearly, I mean, 15 to 11, that workload is starting to be split a little bit. Uh, Alvin Kamara, five targets in this one though. Kendre Miller didn't get any of the targets. It's still very much Kamara's backfield, but I think you're starting to see a little bit of a one-two punch develop, and Kendre Miller should probably be owned in most leagues. Uh, the snap count, 73% to 33% in this one. Kamara still dominating in routes run, of course. Short down and distance is starting to go towards Kendre Miller. So when we do get on the goal line and inside the 10-yard line, not that we project Kamara to have a ton of rushing touchdowns based on just the offensive success here and how bad the Saints are as a team, but it does seem like that's going to wipe out a little bit of his ceiling if he's not getting any of the goal line carries here in favor of Mr. Kendre Miller.

On the flip side, more of the same from Josh Allen, more of the same from James Cook, uh, and more of the same from Khalil Shakir. Another five for 70 game. He does get the touchdown here. Keon Coleman kind of continues to disappoint, as is everybody else in this pass-catching group. Like Josh Allen only needs to throw the ball 22 times, and that's going to be the name of the game with a lot of these game scripts. When you go into the game as a 16 and a half point favorite, quarterback's not going to need to throw the ball very many times. Uh, Shakir obviously seems to be the safest, highest floor receiver. Dalton Kincaid does get home again, but only two catches or two targets, one catch, 28 yards. They're splitting snaps between Dawson Knox and, uh, this other random tight end right now. So, uh, Kincaid, you know, he's performing very well. He seems to continue to get home basically every single Sunday. But I don't know how often we can rely on him. Like he's a donut if he doesn't catch that one touchdown pass from Allen here.

What else we got? We got the Detroit Lions. We've got the Cleveland Browns. The Lions 34-10, getting hot right now. For the Browns, Flacco, another terrible day. 180, 184 passing yards, two interceptions. I really think it's only a matter of time before they sit him in favor of Dylan Gabriel. Maybe they give him another couple weeks, but they just can't really run a functional offense with him, unfortunately, even with how strong their defense is. Uh, Quentin Johnston continues to just absolutely dominate touches in this backfield. Look incredible. Went over 100 from scrimmage, another touchdown in this one. I mean, he's as, as good of an RB2 in fantasy as you're going to find right now. And I, I think if you redid rankings, just overall running back rankings, I think it would be hard not to, not to rank him as a top 15 guy, if not, you know, a borderline top 12 fantasy running back for the time being. And this was, you know, one of the points I made in the, in the pre-running back preview show was like Johnston is going to continue to have high floor and high ceiling games because of how many pass attempts Flacco has. Right now he's up to, uh, second in the league in pass attempts behind only Dak Prescott, which is going to lead to a lot of dump-offs obviously to a dude like whoever's, you know, playing on the most snaps with Johnston is dominating snaps right now in the running back room, and that's just going to lead to checkdowns. So, four for 33, if you're in a PPR league, is a massive spike to, uh, a player that you have in your starting lineup.

Other big takeaway from this game is Cedric Tillman pulled his hamstring and is likely to miss multiple weeks. Again, that matters because Flacco's throwing so many passes. And I think the biggest name to keep an eye on right now would be Isaiah Bond. Now, Isaiah Bond, and I actually tweeted this out. Let me, uh, bring up my tweet real quick. If you're not following me already, go do so. Isaiah, Isaiah Bond's routes by week so far. 23% in week 1, 39% in week 2, 58% in week 3, 71% in week 4. Now, Isaiah Bond as a prospect was a very highly regarded prospect. He was a field stretcher, a little bit undersized, like smaller dude, but blazer on the field out of the University of Texas. Played opposite Matthew Golden while they were there. And almost every mock draft you saw prior to the off-the-field issues that eventually left him as an undrafted free agent, he was a day two pick, right? Very, very often he was like a top 40 guy, top 45 guy in NFL mock drafts. Never saw him go outside of day two. Had even seen mock drafts where he was, uh, a late, late round one pick, which I didn't agree with as a prospect, but I'm just saying this is how the NFL and mock drafters looked at him. Went undrafted, the Browns picked him up. Tillman is now hurt. He's now running the second most routes on the team. Again, Flacco attempting a ton of pass attempts. He averaged, I think, like 19.3 yards per reception in this one. Yeah, three for 58, six targets in this one. So, I think you're going to see more condensed target share to now Bond being the wide receiver two. I think this is going to be a sneaky, uh, big injury for a guy like Harrison Bryant, who in this one actually ran the exact same number of routes as David Njoku and continues to outtarget David Njoku, who I don't really think needs to be owned anymore in fantasy. And Harrison Bryant, if he is available in your leagues, uh, on the waiver wire and you're desperate at tight end, I, I think he is someone worth picking back up because he's running a ton of routes with Tillman out.

On the flip side, Goff, decent day. Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery had a comeback down to earth game, which I think is going to be the case when they're playing against good rush defenses. Amon-Ra continues to be the goat. Um, yeah, that's it. I mean, I don't know what to tell you with defense, uh, with, uh, Detroit.

Patriots and Panthers. Yeah, there's the Panthers we all know and love. Patriots destroyed them 42-13. Bryce Young, another disappointing day here. I will say sometimes it's just hard to get a read on teams. Like one of the biggest lessons or one of the biggest, uh, stats or key points of information that I think causes people to overreact a lot of the time are simply long plays and special teams scores. A lot of the times when teams have a ton of volume or lack thereof, it comes from the fact that other teams score big plays against them or they score very long touchdowns, which continues to be the case for the Patriots. They continue to score defensively or through special teams. They had a return touchdown in this one. This is not just for this game, but a lot of the times play volume is dictated by whether or not those long plays happen. So, you can have a team that connects on two long touchdowns, and what that does is it stifles the number of plays. It literally rips off two to three full drives worth of plays that they might have otherwise run and might be three extra targets for the wide receiver one or four to five extra touches for the running back. So that's a, a big reason we see overreactions because people look at box scores on a week-to-week basis and they just see, oh, this guy got so many targets, like he's just going to do that again next week, but they don't account for these specific plays or the other team having these specific plays that dictate that don't have to do with the pace of the game. They don't have to do with the pace of the offense and how quickly they actually run plays. It's just decided by whether or not they have the volume of plays based on big plays that happen up and down the field. So this was a case for that. Uh, the Panthers like have literally not had a normal game script. So, I don't even [ __ ] know what to take away from this game. I will say as a Chuba Hubbard owner, uh, Rico Dowdle starting to piss me the [ __ ] off. He's starting to get a little bit too much run for the Panthers, though. Again, they're getting their asses kicked, 28-6 at halftime. Don't know how much to take away from it, but this is, you know, part of the, uh, problem with a guy like Chuba is they're now down two of their best run blocking linemen in Austin Corbett and, um, and, uh, why am I forgetting his name? Uh, Robert Hunt, uh, for the foreseeable future. So, if you don't have high volume of rushing to get the efficiency there, and you're not catching passes, or the team is not scoring touchdowns, it's going to be hard to come by big fantasy days. Uh, so I think Rico should probably be owned because he's like the, the backup to him, but I don't, I, I would prefer a lot of other handcuffs to Chuba Hubbard right now. For the receivers, Thielen, four for 62. Had a couple more drops. It's starting to become a little bit of a characteristic for him. Still the alpha here. Still better days to come. Of course, a little bit underwhelming in terms of the ceiling games that we're seeing from him, but still a rock solid wide receiver, 23 in my opinion. Bryce Young only throws 30 passes in this game. Um, the other like minor takeaway here, and I keep, I keep reiterating this, Jaylen Coker needs to be owned. You need to pick up Jaylen Coker. If he is still sitting on the waivers for you. Sanders, uh, high ankle sprain. Uh, Xavier Legette still dealing with a hamstring injury. He's been out. So Tommy Tremble filled in as the next tight end up. And we've seen Bryce Young throw the ball to the tight ends a lot. And this is more condensed. So you have Tommy Tremble, five for 42 with a touchdown on eight targets. Ties T.J. Hockenson with the team high in targets. Mitchell Evans, uh, kind of an exciting rookie. Also gets home, but that was mostly garbage time. So I think you could do worse than Tommy Tremble at, at streaming tight end if you're in a really, really bad position. Uh, but this is more of a Jaylen Coker segment because they need the targets.

On the flip side, Drake Maye continues to be an awesome fantasy quarterback, one of the guys that we were very high on in the preseason. One of the big storylines coming into this game was like, what happens in the Patriots backfield because last week we had two fumbles from Stevenson, one on the goal line, we then had a fumble from Gibson, and then Trayvon Henderson played, uh, a lot of the second half. And we weren't sure like how to rank these players going in. And what I ended up doing was ranking Trayvon Henderson as, I think he was like RB30, and then Stevenson as RB31. Thinking that they weren't just going to completely cut out Stevenson. Ended up being a really damn good ranking because Trayvon Henderson ended up getting into the end zone. But when we look at snaps again, they kind of went right back to the way that they were utilizing their backs prior to the fumbles. So in week four, Stevenson 58% of the snaps, Henderson 29, Gibson 19. The rush attempts were split up pretty evenly, 7, 9 to 6. Stevenson continued to run more routes, 12 routes to Henderson's five. The target per route run rate was much higher for Henderson. Likely because when Henderson's out there running routes, they're scheming up touches for him. Like Henderson's routes are plays that are designed to go to him, whereas Stevenson's just kind of on the field while they're running pass plays, so he runs a lot of routes. But long down the distance, it was still, uh, Rhamondre. Interesting. Inside the five-yard line, though, like Henderson, you know, scored a touchdown. He did get a carry, a goal line carry. Gibson also got two, so still up in the air. Like it's still very hard to decide which players you want to start in which positions here. Um, so I don't feel great about any of them going forward. Um, I think like Stevenson and Henderson are are still pretty shaky flex plays for the most part. Uh, receivers Diggs finally got home, six for 101. So really good stat line for him. Um, I guess he's getting ramped up more and more. I don't even know if the snap counts. This is one that I did not look at. Uh, okay. He led the team in routes finally. Uh, Boutte was second, which has been a flip since the first three weeks. So, maybe there's something there. Um, this will be kind of an indicator. Diggs, 86% catchable target rate with Boutte down at 33%. Um, maybe there's a little bit of a change in the guards in the wide receiver position. I know there were a lot of people that, uh, are doctors on Twitter that were like, "Diggs is going to take a minute to get ramped up." It just seemed like he was not really being involved in the offense at all. And maybe this is that four-week mark where we can start to feel a little bit better about Diggs's involvement in the offense. The other thing too, Hunter Henry, man, two for 39 and a touchdown. Also got tackled on like the one-inch line, could have had a much bigger day. He is the tight end one right now in fantasy in PPR, so needs to be owned.

Giants and the Chargers. So some huge injury news in this one. Joe Alt, we'll start there and we'll make our way to the goat, Malik. Uh, Joe Alt suffers a high ankle sprain, and that now leaves their top two tackles, Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater, who's out for the year, in a bad spot. Uh, now, offensive linemen sometimes suffer high ankle sprains and can play the next week or a week later. It's obviously not the case for everyone, but I don't know how significant this injury is going to be. He left and obviously did not return, so might be on the more significant side. Uh, maybe he gets put on IR. I don't know. Uh, I will say if he is out and this L.A. Chargers line has to resort to what they were yesterday, Herbert has looked phenomenal this year through four games, making ridiculous throws every single game, every single Sunday. The first few weeks though when he looked like the MVP, the pockets that he had, he was sitting back there for six, seven seconds, like unreal type [ __ ] type [ __ ] type [ __ ]. When he's under pressure, like, sure, he can make big throws, but like his, his numbers, as most quarterbacks do, obviously. Nothing to take away from Herbert here, but it's going to be a significant problem for his passing game. Doesn't matter for QJ because he's [ __ ] goated. Um, eight for 98, 13 targets in this one. I mean, I, it, it see, I don't know what else to say. We have a clear pecking order here, I guess, with the wide receivers. It's like Johnston every single week is the high ceiling player. Keenan Allen, high floor. Lad McConkey just sucks. I don't know what else to do there. Like Lad's good. He's a good player. Had an awesome rookie year. I can't really tell you anything good that you might or might not know already. Herbert still throwing the ball a ton. 41 more pass attempts in this game despite, sorry, give me a sec. Despite Hampton averaging [ __ ] 10 yards a carry, 11 yards per carry. Uh, they want to beat the team. They want to beat teams by throwing the ball. Now, if Joe Alt's out and they have to get the ball out quicker, maybe that does change the philosophy a little bit, and we do continue to see Amari Cooper and Hampton be a massive part of this passing game. Um, very much could be the case. Five targets, five catches, 37 yards, and then looked awesome on the ground. 12 for 128 and a touchdown. So, his massive breakout, breakout game. If you've been holding Hampton, it looks like the Naji Harris injury is going to vault him up into an RB1 for the remainder of the season because his volume, his efficiency, he played on over 90% of the snaps in this one. That is like bell cow. Very few running backs get that type of work, uh, workload in the big 2025. So, yeah, I mean, Hampton's a beast. Quentin Johnston, I think he, like, he, he's just, I don't know how we can say anything else, but he's a must-start going forward.

On the flip side, Jackson Dart's first start. We have 111 passing yards, one passing touchdown. What some people might not have known, very good on the ground, very athletic player, 10 for 54 and a touchdown. Was continuously scooting there, which I do think is going to affect his passing volume over the course of the year. We had Cam Scatabo finish, fishing in, fishing in. What word are we looking for? Um, filling in. I guess filling in could be the right word. Yeah, filling in for Tyrone Tracy. Tracy's out for the foreseeable future as well with a dislocated shoulder. Cam Scatabo, 25 carries and two targets. An insane workload that they're going to keep giving him, uh, as long as Tyrone Tracy is out. Dart, I don't think they're ever going to have him be a high volume passer in game scripts that work against them. He'll obviously need to throw the ball more than 20 times, but he only completed 13 passes in this one, which makes the target volume distribution a little bit difficult. Malik Neighbors tears his ACL. He is out for the year. This will undoubtedly, you know, shove the volume floor up of guys like Darius Slayton, Wandale Robinson, and then I think Theo Johnson is kind of interesting here. Uh, he's got really a really low floor. Like his catch totals the first few weeks. I don't think he's gone over 34 receiving yards in a game yet. Uh, he did score a touchdown in this one, but three for 17. Not great. Slayton is really interesting obviously because we had last year a couple game sample size where Malik Neighbors was out where Slayton went crazy. He was averaging almost 19 PPR fantasy points per game, 11 targets in those, uh, you know, his reception numbers were super [ __ ] high. So I think with Neighbors out, I think Slayton and Robinson are weekly wide receiver threes. I think Slayton has like weekly top 15 upside because of his splash play ability and, uh, just how well we saw him play last year. Obviously that was with Daniel Jones, not Jackson Dart. So different quarterback, different chemistry. But I, I just think safely the volume floor of all these guys is going to be moving up significantly. Like if you look at the box score, there wasn't another wide receiver in this room that even saw another target. It was only Slayton. It was only Robinson. And they weren't very high target numbers. But again, this goes back to the way that this team was structured. They ran the ball 42 times compared to 21 pass attempts. So in games where they're not beating the Los Angeles Chargers, in games where they're losing by a touchdown or two, you flip the script there and it's, uh, 37 pass attempts compared to 22 rush attempts. You're going to be looking at Darius Slayton seeing seven to nine targets. Robinson seeing seven to nine targets. And all of a sudden, you're looking at by-week fill-ins. You're looking at wide receiver threes, looking at PPR flex plays. So Slayton and Robinson are definitely very, very interesting on the waiver wire this week, of course.

Moving forward, we got the Eagles and the Bucs. Um, the Eagles win because that's what they do. 31-25. Jalen Hurts started off red-hot in this one. I think he was 15 for 16 in the first half, and if I saw the stat correctly, he went 0 for 8 in the first half, the second half. He didn't, he did not complete another pass. A.J. Brown's out here posting cryptic messages on Instagram despite them being 4-0 right now. This was another big, uh, you know, part of the wide receiver preview. I had like A.J. Brown, you know, I, I, I felt like there was going to be an overreaction based on last week being like, "Oh, A.J. Brown's fully back." And I was like, "Ah, I still don't feel that way. I still feel like this team only explicitly wants to win through the ground game." And another one where the game script just went that way, right? They had the blocked kick touchdown right out the gate. Scored a touchdown on their next drive. So they're up two touchdowns immediately. It's like, of course, we're going to lean on the run game here. Saquon hasn't been as efficient this year. Of course, he's looked a little bit stuck in the mud, but it's whatever. Saquon. I'm not too pressed about it. Um, but yeah, like I will continue to be quite nervous about, uh, the Philadelphia Eagles pass catchers. Like, I just don't think you can really rely on them on a week-to-week basis. Any given week, of course, they're great players. They can splash in for a huge play or a huge touchdown or something like that, but I think one-week sample sizes will bring you back down to reality quickly.

On the flip side, Baker Mayfield. Oh, we also, uh, the Eagles lost Lane Johnson again. It's the second week in a row he's left with like a neck stinger injury. Didn't miss time obviously because he played this week, but if this was a reinjury and he has to miss time, like that could be a big problem for the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. We've seen them perform really poorly without Lane Johnson, so that's a huge injury to keep an eye on. The flip side, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got back Tristan Wirfs, and he played the full allotment of snaps in this one. Not the only player they got back, obviously. Chris Godwin in this one, 10 targets, didn't, didn't do great with them. 10 targets, three catches, 26 yards. Baker Mayfield did attempt 40 passes, you know, for the fact that they, um, were trailing most of the game. So another game script where I don't expect that to be the case, uh, too often. Bucky Irving, man, so good. People worried about his yards per carry efficiency numbers are [ __ ] insane. He's been doing this with, uh, basically 60% of his offensive line out so far, and now they're slowly getting those guys back in, and he's going to be continuing to be just like a league winner right now.

165 from scrimmage, 20 touches, a touchdown again. Rashad White back to being just a secondary piece in this backfield. Very high upside, uh, handcuff. Bucky did go down for a second with like an ankle tweak, but was right back in the game afterwards. But if he does go down, Rashad White's going to have, uh, immediate top 15 plug-and-play ability.

With Mike Evans out, Ibuka gets 10 targets, four catches, 101, and a touchdown. I will say, for the most part, he was shut down, uh, most of the game by Quinan Mitchell. He had that 77-yard touchdown, which I'm sure most of you guys saw the highlights of on Red Zone. It was like Baker just, it was the most Baker play of all time. Just heaved it up into, it's like a, "[ __ ] it, he's down there somewhere" type throw, and it went through like both of the hands of both of the Dbacks that were playing on A. Mecha, and A. Mecha just had ridiculous concentration to still bring it in and then break free for the touchdown. So, you know, uh, ended up getting home, but was, uh, was definitely on the back of a little bit of luck there. Again, though, Godwin, good to see him get out there and run pretty much the full, uh, snap workload, if I, if I remember correctly. Yeah, I mean, 91% of the routes immediately. Um, interestingly enough, 15.1 A. DOT. So, that would signal to me, I don't actually have the numbers up here. I wish they put the slot percentages on Fantasy Life. Would be extremely useful. But based on these numbers, this tells me that Sterling Shepard was without a doubt the slot guy, playing a few more, a few less snaps here, was probably in on 11 personnel snaps. The A. DOT also suggests the fact that he was a 5.8 A. DOT player playing in the slot. I don't know how you have a 50% casual target rate with a 5.8 A. DOT, but these guys both seeing heavy targets downfield. Uh, Godwin. Yeah, I mean, just from the eye test, I don't think Godwin looked great, but like, he'll get more and more comfortable as the weeks go by. So, I do think he's flex-worthy based on the fact that he'll be the second most targeted player in this offense, but I'm not like screaming to get him back into my lineup, uh, immediately.

Texans and the Titans, like Cam Ward said, they are [ __ ] ass right now. The Titans move to 0 and 4, like, can't even put up points against an 0 and 3 team. I, you know, Taj Spears is eligible to come back next week, which will kind of put Tony Pollard in a tough spot. He's getting all the volume right now, but has not been able to do a single thing with it, unfortunately. He's just like, weekly 20 touches for 75 yards. I think he scored once over the first four games. So, like, Tony Pollard's in a pretty tough spot right now. Like, I think you could flex him based on the volume, and I think Taj Spears might take a couple weeks to get back into like a 30% split there. Um, but it's not good for Pollard. Not good for this entire offense. Calvin Ridley, I don't know if he got banged up or what. This is going to go down as probably my worst call of the entire offseason. I'm glad I didn't get to draft him in my big money league, but Eli Mayor, 90% of the routes on Sunday. Tyler Lockett, 90%. Then Ridley and Van Jefferson both down at 43%. So, I don't know. Again, I don't know if he got banged up and left for a little while. I, I didn't hear anything like that. So, this could be a move where they're just, you know, like, "We're sick of your [ __ ] Cal. We are sick of your [ __ ]" Um, so not great for him. I don't think anyone on the Titans is really playable at this point.

Uh, on the flip side, we're going to have our number one waiver wire pick of the week. I mean, if you've been following, I would hope that you already have Woody Marks on your team, uh, because of the waiver wire videos the last few weeks. He was the number one running back pickup last week behind the Bensons and the Scatabos. Uh, and now this week, he finally just completely basically overtakes the backfield for the Houston Texans. The snap counts have been increasingly going up for Woody Marks. You know, they've, they've phased out Darian Goomba. Damen Pierce continues to be a healthy scratch, and then yesterday had his big breakout game where he finally outsnapped Nick Chubb, 58% to 40%. He takes more of the carry, 17 to 13. He runs more routes, sees a bunch of targets, plays all the long down and distance snaps, even outsnaps him on short down and distance. And it led to a monster fantasy day. 17 for 69 on the ground for a touchdown. Four for 50 through the air, a second touchdown. Uh, Nick Chubb, 13 for 47. So the way I'm looking at this backfield now is I still kind of expect Nick Chubb to to start the game out as like the starter here, and then Woody Marks kind of replace him in, you know, by the by the second quarter and and be the guy who outtouches him for the most part. It was good to see like in a game script like this where they get up 26-0. I mean, it was very, very much just a normal game script for the majority of it. So you would think like, "Okay, let's give it to Nick Chubb." But clearly Nick Chubb has shown very little juice and unsurprisingly throughout the year so far. So Marks gives them like this pass-catching upside, a little bit more explosive, a little bit more like wiggle juice in the backfield, and this is an offense that badly needed some sort of juice. I'm skeptical what his like his ground efficiency is going to be moving forward. Like the Tennessee, Tennessee is the worst team in the NFL right now, and they're not a good defense whatsoever. So, uh, you know, much tougher matchups ahead for sure for Houston, but obviously great to see. And like Woody Marks is going to be one of those guys where you look at the rest of the waiver wire pickups, and it's, it's handcuff guys. It's guys that like, you know, might see 30% of the touches in their backfield. He's got the most upside by far. Like, you're talking about a rookie that just got 21 touches and could completely overtake the backfield here and be a usable RB2 for you in fantasy for the remainder of the the games going forward. So huge game for him and definitely the number one waiver wire pickup on the week.

Rams and the Colts. This was a, this was a [ __ ] awesome game. Um, Daniel Jones probably played his worst game of the season, at least statistically. I think he played pretty well. He put, put the ball in harm's way a little bit too much, but you know, the the Rams were moving the ball with ease, so they really needed a counterpunch on the offensive side of the things. Adani Mitchell, oh my god, he's so [ __ ] he's literally just like he's, he's, he's George Pickens. He's George Pickens that just doesn't get as much playtime. Like he's so talented and he's so sick and his highlight reel is gonna be awesome at the end of his rookie contract, but he's just a [ __ ] clown when he's on the field at all times. Uh, you know, he had a ridiculous 75-yard catch and then run in between two defenders and then lets go of the ball at the one-yard line. It goes out of the back of the end zone for a touchback for the Rams, and then he gets the holding call on an insane Jonathan Taylor 40-yard touchdown run. So, two huge mistakes that ended up costing them the game, but Alec Pierce is going to be back, probably, most likely, from uh concussion protocol next week, which will probably put Adani Mitchell back on, uh, the bench. Can't start Josh Downs right now. Michael Pittman continues to be a really, really good, strong start. Same thing with Tyler Higbee. We finally saw Tyler Higbee used on the goal line in a rushing capacity like we did at Penn State often, and he got in for a goal-line score, which is just another dude vulturing Jonathan Taylor. Really [ __ ] frustrating if you're a Taylor owner, obviously, but he's just so good that he's going to continue to get home for you. Uh, on the flip side, Stafford, massive day, 375, three touchdowns, mainly on the back of that 90-yard touchdown throw to Tutu Atwell on broken coverage, uh, late in the fourth quarter. Puka continues to be the absolute [ __ ] GOAT. 13 for 170, another touchdown on 15 more targets. Leaves the game again with a banged-up thumb, comes back in. It's every week. This dude is just a [ __ ] warrior. Uh, Demarcus Robinson, four for 56 and a touchdown. Gets home. Kyren Williams, 13 for 77, uh, and no scores there. But three more catches, 17 yards. Uh, more often than not, he's going to score a rushing touchdown. So, he just continues to see a very, very big workload. Nothing else really to take away from this game, I don't think. Were there any big injuries? Uh, not that I can remember.

Jaguars and the 49ers. Uh, so we have Travis Etienne, another huge game, 19 for 124 on the ground and a touchdown, and just bursts off a 50-yard touchdown run. Looked really, really good. In the receiver room, we had D.J. Chark as a scratch in this one because of the shoulder injury. Seven targets for Brian Thomas Jr. Still doesn't get home. Five for 49. I will say, as a, uh, as just a viewer of the game, Brian Thomas Jr. seemed to be a little bit more reliable, dependable, like getting targets on out routes and like securely bringing them in. It's like we're [ __ ] diapering him at this point, but, uh, you could have seen worse games out of him. He, he's certainly had his share of those this year. Uh, Brenton Strange, kind of peppered over the middle as well. Travis Hunter, not playing a full slotment of, uh, or a lotment, I should say, of offensive snaps at this point. We can check out the routes run for the Jaguars wide receiver group. For those of you all that are joining us after the fact, again, this is the fantasylife.com website. Unbelievable stuff. Unbelievable. Uh, so Travis Hunter, yeah, ran the third most routes behind BTJ and Parker Washington in this one. So, he made some good plays, but again, he's just not a viable fantasy starter right now until we see something else change.

On the other side, we had Brock Purdy make his return from the toe injury. Apparently, he woke up with some toe soreness after yesterday's, uh, game, which is not surprising. He did not look good. He ended up, you know, getting 310 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, but was not very mobile and clearly was affecting a lot of his throws. So, they have a short week. They play the Rams on Thursday Night Football, and they've got a lot of players banged up. Obviously, George Kittle still on the IR. We had Ricky Pearsall leave the game with a knee injury that for the most part sidelined him for the entire second half. So, they got three days to get healthy. Jauan Jennings came into the game, did not practice at all last week, or I guess limited on Friday, shoulder, ankle, and then took an absolute [ __ ] wallop to the ribs on a two-point conversion. Uh, left the game, ended up returning to the game, but he's got to be unbelievably sore right now. Uh, so I mean, we're going to have to, you know, keep an eye on practice reports to a very high degree coming up on Thursday. Like, they got Purdy, possibly Jauan Jennings, possibly Ricky Pearsall out for this game. Like, this could be, this could be bad for San Fran. Um, I'd imagine even if those guys play, they're going to be at less than 100%. So, it could get ugly against the Rams defense, which is, you know, one of the best in the NFL at this point. I do think, listen, if those pass catchers miss, Jake Jake Tonges, is it Tonges or Tongs? I don't even know. He's filled in really well for George Kittle. I think he even got hurt in this game. I think he might have ended up returning. Someone's going to have to fact-check me on that one. But he's going to be honestly a pretty solid streaming option if all these other guys miss, uh, miss this game or miss time. Even though Christian McCaffrey is probably just going to have another 15 targets in that one.

Baltimore and Kansas City. Baltimore, this was probably their worst game, I feel like we've seen from them in two years. Got destroyed by the Chiefs 37 to 20. This is, this is bad for for Baltimore. Not because I think their performance is sticky in this one, but they're, they're simply just not the same team because they're dealing with so many injuries. Like, you have a great team on paper. When you start to take away all their top players, like, um, you have Metellus on the D-line out, you have, um, multiple guys leaving this game. Roquan Smith left this game. You have, uh, Nate Wiggins left this game. Marlon Humphrey left this game. Ronnie Stanley on the offensive side of the ball left this game. Lamar Jackson left this game. It's like, it's getting really bad with the injuries to the point that like, you see the Ravens brand and you assume great, but when you have half of your best players out, like, you're just a different team. You're a different quality and caliber of team, which is concerning for the Ravens at 1 and 3, obviously. Now, Lamar Jackson's got a hamstring injury. A lot of narrative going around at this point about whether or not it's anything serious because the game was out of hand and it didn't seem overly serious on the sideline, and they just kind of said, "You know what, we're getting our ass beat. Let's not push it right now for Lamar." So, we're going to have to wait on news from, I guess, either an MRI or the Ravens to come out and say something about Lamar Jackson. I will, um, take a quick peek on Twitter to see if we have any updates on it. [Music] Hamstring tightness, undergoing further evaluation. In week five, status uncertain. All right. So, we don't really know. We don't know if it's actual just like a tightness or a cramp, or it's actually like a strain there. Obviously, a real strain would probably sideline him next week, if not two weeks, and then they have a bye after that. So, that would be a big hit, obviously, all the parties involved here.

Derrick Henry again, I know people are like freaking out about Derrick Henry and it makes sense, but listen, again, this is bad game script, and they've played three of the toughest rush defenses over the first four weeks. Um, so things will get better for Derrick Henry. They have a much lighter schedule over the second half of the year than they do over the first half of the year. So, do not sell Derrick Henry based on these poor, poor games. On the flip side, Mahomes looked awesome in this one. It's the best he's looked in a while. Threw for four touchdowns. Xavier Worthy's first game back here. 5 for 83 through the air, eight targets, team lead, two for 38 on the ground. So, good to see explosion. He looked like he was, you know, pretty healthy, good to go. Um, behind him, Travis Kelce, 5 for 48. The one other takeaway I will have from this game, like the Chiefs are going to look great when Rashi Rice is back. The running back room, Kareem Hunt, 13 for 34. Pacheco, 7 for 35. Pacheco scores, uh, his first touchdown of the season. Isiah Pacheco got more involved this game than he had been in any of the first three games. It wasn't a crazy high snap count, like it wasn't like he was running, you know, he was playing on 50% of the snaps, but it was a season high for him. So, we did see him play on 18 snaps. Pacheco was still above him at 26, Kareem Hunt at 31, but he did see a very high target rate, right? 40% target per run rate. Um, he did run 10 routes, was playing on most long down and distance snaps. He's not someone I'm like going to project into a workhorse role. I think best-case scenario was probably him being, uh, Jerick McKinnon from a couple years ago, who was a damn good fantasy asset for the Chiefs. He's, he's an exciting prospect out of SMU. He was a, you know, late day three pick, but he brings explosion that I don't think this backfield has. He was also like a, like a wide receiver converted to running back, so a very strong pass-catching running back as well, and I think they're dialing up plays for him in the passing game. He does seem a little bit like scatterbrained right now as a rookie with a lot on his plate. So again, I, I he's got to earn more trust, but I do think Isiah Pacheco is a pretty good stash if you have the room in a 12-team league, but definitely should be owned in 14 leagues or, uh, lower, higher, sorry.

Bears and the Raiders. Bears get it done 25-24. Uh, great ending where they block the kick. Normally they're on the other side of that, which, you know, could signal some things here. Fields, 212 and a touchdown. 13 yards on the ground as well. So, all right, fantasy day. D.J. Moore continues to get home, four for 69 and another touchdown. I believe he's the wide receiver three in fantasy right now. Another, another one of, uh, our guys that we were very hyped on coming into the year. You know, Cole Kmet, DJ Moore, Luke Musgrave are still guys that are extremely shaky flex plays if you need to have them in your lineup. Uh, Cole Kmet, another big storyline here. Three for 46, but didn't have a team-high nine targets. Cole Kmet dealing with a hip injury. Now, I would say Cole Kmet would be a, a really solid pickup and streaming option for next week, but they're on a bye. So, two weeks from now, very likely Kmet is back, and then it becomes more of a messy committee tight end situation where you can't trust Cole Kmet realistically. But if it turns out to be a more serious injury to, uh, Cole Kmet, he misses more time, I do think Cole Kmet becomes a really, really viable streaming option here.

On the flip side, Geno plays horrendously, but listen, this is just the roller coaster of Geno Smith. This is what you're going to get. Some games with those three picks, then the next week he'll be back to 350 and three touchdowns. So, just is what it is at this point with the Raiders passing offense. Great to see Josh Jacobs back with a massive game. 21 for 138 and a touchdown. Two for 17 through the air. Another two touchdowns there. That was one of our better calls for the week. We were very, very high on, uh, Josh Jacobs. He was on our big, uh, our big day parlay slip anytime touchdown. I also alted him over a 100 rushing yards, which was mortgage-paying type beat out here. Brock Bowers, really disappointing so far. Uh, probably still dealing with the knee injury. He's, he's wearing a huge brace around the field. Jacoby Brissett, disappointing day, but, uh, better days ahead, of course, for this passing offense. Only 21 pass attempts in this game. I mean, this is probably what they want to do. Run the offense through Jacobs, giving him 21 carries. Problem is, I, I don't think this is sticky at all. I think the Raiders offensive line still [ __ ] stinks. And I think the Bears defense is horrendous. So, I think, with the Bears defense being that bad, that to me, this doesn't, again, this feels like A.J. Brown all over again, where it's like, we're going to look at Jacobs. It's like, sure, you're going to have Jacobs in your lineup, of course, but to expect the Raiders run game to just be good now would be a moronic move. The Raiders play week five at Indianapolis. So, honestly, not too tough of a matchup. And then you have Tennessee, which is a good matchup. You're definitely playing Jacobs. Of course, you got at Kansas City and then a bye. So, I don't think the, the Raiders run game is fixed. I think worst days are very much ahead for Josh Jacobs. The Chicago Bears defense is like a cure-all, as, as there are a ton of teams in the NFL that feel like that right now. So, another one not to overreact to, react properly to. He's still a good fantasy option, but like, let's, let's not go crazy on this.

And then we had the Sunday night football game. A 40-40 tie between the Packers and the Cowboys. Just whole lot of fun if you had fantasy players in this one. Jordan Love, 337 and three touchdowns through the air. 28 more yards on the ground. Uh, Josh Jacobs, 22 for 86, two touchdowns, 4 for 71 through the air. So, a buck 60 from scrimmage, two touchdowns. Huge game for him. Romeo Doubs continues to be the number one wide receiver on this team. Eight targets, six catches, 58 yards, three touchdowns. Is that sticky? Of course not. But the routes continue to be run by Romeo Doubs. And more importantly, if you watch the game, Doubs continues to be isolated on the goal line, and they very clearly have goal-line plays drawn up for him, which is good because they trust him. Jordan Love trusts him. LaFleur trusts him. And I think that type of stuff is sticky, right? Is he going to score a touchdown every week? Of course not. But the fact that we will get more opportunities, it's like, is Josh Jacobs more likely to score a rushing touchdown than, uh, Isiah Pacheco? Yes. Because when they're on the goal line, Josh Jacobs is that back. When they're on the goal line, Romeo Doubs seems to be the isolated wide receiver. This is not all just analytical luck of whether or not this guy's supposed to score, that guy's supposed to score. It's like, just watch the game and you could see the way that they're drawing up plays very [ __ ] clearly. So Doubs, I'm excited about owning him in my big money league, right? He's a great like flex, bye-week filling, that as long as Jayden Reed is out, is going to have a very high floor because he runs so many routes. Uh, Matthew Stafford, pretty good day. Six targets, five for 58. Although probably should have been a much smaller day. He stole a deep pass from Odell Beckham Jr. very early in the game that I think was targeted for Beckham Jr. And then Stafford kind of just like ran into him and and stole that from him, and that was a deep pass that probably shouldn't have been his, but you know what? We'll take it. Um, routes. We had 41 for Doubs, 36 for Odell Beckham Jr., 34 for, uh, Matthew Stafford, but all of them running a significant number of routes there. Doubs, 44% of the air yards, 75% of the end zone targets. I mean, it's just clear, like Jordan Love, every interview he does, he's like, "Who are the best five receivers in the NFL?" He'll name the four best, and then it'll be like, "Romeo Doubs." Like, enough. But he [ __ ] loves him, you know? I don't know what else to tell you. Tucker Kraft, five for 56. I got to say, I feel, I feel for the Tucker Kraft owners. That call at the half-yard line when he got in for the end zone and they called him down at like the inch line. I get it. I get it. I get it. But there are so many calls now in the in in the NFL on a given Sunday where they just review it and they call guys down at the inch yard line. It makes sense. I get it. We, we need to innovate and improve. Like, if we went back to not reviewing those plays, then guess what? Next Sunday, there's gonna be a play where your favorite team tackles a guy at the half-yard line, then they rule it a touchdown, and you're like, "Holy [ __ ] we need to review those plays." There's a reason things push forward. There's a reason technology innovates. It's because there are problems prior to it, right? There are prior problems, then we, uh, then we input a solution for it. And unfortunately, most solutions come with pros and cons. This is one of them where it's really [ __ ] annoying that we got to be down to the decimal. Tucker Kraft being tackled right before the pylon was one of them. So, that was a really bad break for Tucker Kraft owners.

On the flip side, Dak Prescott looks incredible this year. Even without CeeDee Lamb, it didn't even matter. Um, they were not pressuring him, which was really surprising because Dak and the Dallas offensive line is down a lot of offensive linemen. I think Tyler Guyton got hurt in this game as well. Prescott, 319 and three touchdowns through the air. He also ran one in, um, with his legs. Tony Pollard, 20 for 85 and a touchdown. Catches three more passes, so he continues to be an absolute [ __ ] bell cow and will continue to do so because Michael Sanders, I believe, rolled up his ankle and he could miss some time. Shout out [ __ ] Hunter Luey. 22 and a half of those would have got me about what, 11.7 points last week and Deal or No Deal. How you dumb? That was his one touch. Now he won't see another touch till about week 17. Um, should have counter-offered this week. God damn it. George Pickens, eight for 134, two touchdowns. I mean, hell yeah. I'm going to be honest, man. I'll hold the L there. I was skeptical. I'm not going to hold the L because I started him in my big money league. So, like, help me secure the dub, but I was skeptical about him being able to be the one in this room. I wish they were more comfortable moving around in moving him around in the slot. I don't think we're going to see it much, but on this first touchdown, they did put him in the slot. They let him run a nice little wiggle move right [ __ ] up the seam. Score a touchdown. So they keep moving around. Big days ahead. Eight for 134, two touchdowns, nearly 30 fantasy points. Um, or over 30 fantasy points, 11 targets in this one. So, uh, a team high there. Jake Ferguson gets home, seven for 40 and a touchdown. Jalen Tolbert had a beautiful, that 34-yard catch in overtime that really kind of padded his stats. But yeah, Tolbert and, um, Turpin are not really guys that I'm like looking to spend any FAAB on or get into my lineups anytime soon. CeeDee Lamb. We're still waiting on word, obviously, of, uh, a possible return. I think Dallas plays, let's see, they get the Jets next week, and then Carolina week six. Uh, Washington week seven. They don't have their bye till week 10. So, CeeDee will be back likely before that bye, I think. Um, hopefully. So, sucks that he can't get that. But you know what? He's Pickens will see Sauce Gardner next week, J.C. Horn the week after that. But if they move him around, then we're going to feel pretty good, pretty, pretty good about Mr. Pickens.
