I'm about to ruin boiled eggs for you forever. These soy sauce marinated eggs are so delicious. Once you try them, there is no going back.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your eggs to your preferred doneness. For runny yolks, 7 minutes is perfect. Straight into ice water to stop the cooking process and make peeling effortless.
Drop the eggs into a mason jar. Now for the flavor bomb. Garlic, scallions, red chilies, green chilies, roasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil for the extra nutty taste. Add soy sauce and water. That's your marinade. Let the eggs soak overnight in the fridge.
Next day, slice one open. Look at that golden jammy center. You can eat them on their own or put them on anything that needs a protein upgrade. And never throw away that sauce.
