Reading from the New Living Translation, verse that sing, "Yeah," is another bit of wisdom that has impressed me as I have watched the way our world walks. There was a small town, it's only a few people, and a great king came with his army and visited. A poor wise man knew how to save the town, and so it was rescued. Well, after world, no one thought to thank him.
King James fashioned Ecclesiastes chapter 9, verse 13 to 15: "This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me: There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king the gates lead and be seated and built great who works against it. Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city, yet no man remembered that same for man."
We have defined wisdom as knowing how best to achieve a goal or solve a problem, as a first step, getting it down, and then within the right time. So, we put that together, can define wisdom and knowing what best to do to achieve a goal and getting it on within the right time. Wisdom is not just knowing what best to do. Wisdom is not just planning on what needs to be done. Wisdom is doing at the right time whatever needs to be done. Wisdom is implemented on time, whatever needs to be done.
So many people have so much knowledge without transformation. So much knowledge, no transformation. And why? It has to do with lack of implementation of the seeds of knowledge that they have received. A lot of people have exposure without positive results, without also positively impacting those are standing things they have had exposure to. And why is it so? Because they refuse to replicate those things that they have been exposed to.
Who notices something very interesting about this story in Ecclesiastes chapter 9, verse 15? "Nadia was found in that city, a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city." Two things: they found out what best to do to overcome that challenge from that man. Secondly, they quickly implemented the strategy that this man gave them. They quickly implemented the strategy that the man gave to them.
Have it in mind that the city was besieged by a great king and his army, and they were not aware of what was going on. So obviously, they were just waiting for a little more time, and then the phase of that attack will play out. But the reason why this city was delivered from that potential destruction is because they found an effective strategy, one, and then they quickly implemented strategy. They quickly implemented the strategy. They were delivered not just by hearing what was best to do. Here in messages in church, hearing the writings from mentors will not necessarily bring about all the results. For the also experienced transformation and the results we desire, we must practice, put to practice the things we hear.
And these words of wisdom, seeds of wisdom that we receive, they were delivered because they did what they heard from the poor wise man. He told them what to do, and they did it. They did it on time. They did it on time.
So, it is necessary at this point to ask, in the last year that just ended, did you put to practice all the council, seeds of wisdom, insights that you received from different channels? It's very key, very strategic for this little city. Their response in applying the council was timely enough before things got out of hand. So sometimes things get out of hand not because we didn't know what to do, but because we were slow in implementing whatever needed to be done to overcome the challenges of the problem or achieve the goal. Procrastination and foot-dragging, indecision, indecision, taking your time, taking your time. These are little factors that have cost certain people so much because procrastination with implementing the right approach has caused many people the solution they could have experienced. Everything would have changed for good if only they had implemented a strategy on time, obey that council on time.
People may call you and advise you and say, "Go back, you are not satisfied," and so on. Else, you go to someone else, and you know the person tells you the same thing, "Go back." And you are still trying to, you know, give reasons why you shouldn't go back. And then eventually, something happens. And by that time, since I've gotten out of hand, from that point in time, you can no longer go back. And even if you attempt to go back, what will have been resolved if you had gone back earlier will no longer be resolved because things have changed, circumstances have changed.
Idea for pray for everyone here this morning. By the mercy and grace of God, in 2020, you will do the right things at the right time. You will not miss any opportunity for anything before you. God will show you the way forward, and you will go in that direction on time. For any challenge that may come, the Lord will show you the way out of it, and you will do what God is asking you to do on time. You're not disappoint God through procrastination.
Remember the time of Joseph. In the time of Joseph, he told Pharaoh, "Your dream implies 14 very significant years for this nation. We are about to witness several years of unprecedented national prosperity, but this seven years of national prosperity will be followed by several years of unprecedented recession." And then he gave the strategy: "Let's go into massive buildup of reserves of grains from these seven years of national prosperity so I will have more than enough for the 70 years of great recession that will certainly follow."
Tango that Pharaoh not only believed, not only believed that the council, the strategy of Joseph was sound, because many time we stop and believing. We believed the message, but we don't act on the message. We clap at the end of the message, but we do not implement the insight from the message. But Pharaoh quickly acted on what the strategy that Joseph had given. And you know, not only was Egypt fully taken care of in the seven years of great recession, Egypt entered into a season of economic boom. In the 70 years of recession, they entered into a season of economic boom. Why? The recession was not isolated just to Egypt. It actually happened worldwide, and it caught everyone unaware. Only Pharaoh had that dream. And thank God for the strategic scene of wisdom that God had given him through yourself, which implemented.
So people were coming from different nations of the earth to buy grain in Egypt. It turned to a season of economic boom. Why? They were privileged to receive a very, very sound strategy of what to do. Two, they implemented the strategy. Three, they implemented it on time. This year, you will be on time. You will act on time. You will invest on time. You will buy on time. You will sell on time. You will depart and arrive on time. You will get your destination on time. You will take that decision on time. In the name of Jesus, may a graceful, perfect timing move with you mightily this year. Let alone here your email. [Applause]
So, there is need for timely implementation of each of the various steps that would need to be taken in order to achieve your goals for this year. Timely implementation, timely implementation. For that challenge that needs to be overcome, there is need for timely implementation of whatever is the right council, the best approach to solving and overcoming that challenge.
There's an interesting scripture. Jesus is chapter 19, verse 7. He says, "I have seen sevens," one of those disturbing things. He said, "I observe in the art. He said, 'I have seen servants.'" Jesus is chapter 10, verse 7: "I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth." And that is why this year, God will release double grace upon you for positions to change. If you are currently on the wrong level, by the mercy and grace of God, there shall be a divine upliftment and elevation into the right level, in the name of Jesus. If you are really ready for it, say that I Amen. "I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth." It's happening. Everything, and it is happening here in Nigeria.
An observation was made that from one university to the other, you see extremely intelligent students. This would have already been proven from the high school they attended, and in every general exam they have sat for, including the exams into the university. Sometimes you see it proven again, the intelligence of such students, proven even in their first year in the university. But something very disturbing happens. This same students eventually graduate with a very, very poor result. And then you also find averagely intelligent students, some of them graduate with distinction, with first class. You know, those who run schools will understand this much better. I believe any proprietor or proprietress of a high school who monitors, you know, the progress of his or her outstanding students from his or her school will have noticed this trend. It brings them, you know, it's very, very discouraging. It brings disappointment, discouragement when you observe that a student you actually could boast of, you could actually boast of, you predicted that this boy, this girl is going to come out with a first class based on his records, but we see something different happening.
And why is it so? Has to do with his step, step to success. That's to do with the step two. So, six people have the potential, but they are not able to assess the result, the potential result from that great potential that God has blessed them with. Why? Certain things are needed to be done, were not done. After the first year in the university, he became carried away. He was not into relationships with different ladies. Time he should have spent studying and preparing for exams was being spent now drinking in the pubs or going for different parties. And shoes, the sales to them that normally would have started preparing for an exam well on time, well ahead of time, now he only studies just at the eve of the exam. So even though he still has that intelligence, the potential result he was capable of achieving is not achieved.
It has to do with the third step, implementation of the strategy, the approach. There is an approach he was using from high school. He was very focused in school. He attended all lectures. He spent enough time in study. And when the exams were coming, he withdrew from so many other things to concentrate on his coming and his imminent exams. And every time he used that approach, he always came out with an outstanding result. And then he goes into the university, first year in the university, he has the best result using the same approach. But after the first year, the distractions come in, and he falls into these distractions.
So, certain things must be done on this tenth level of the journey to success. And one of them, one first step, one first key is that you must implement the strategy that you have adopted. I don't know, we don't know how you got it. You could have come from, you originally come from a sound source. But whatever is the approach that you have adopted, you have accepted as the best approach to achieve your goal for the year, to overcome that challenge, to meet your responsibility for the year, you must implement the strategy, implement the teachings, implement the sermons you have had, implement the wise council you have received. You must be very diligent with the implementation of your strategy.
The story we just read in Ecclesiastes chapter 9, verse 15, there was a way out because the people in the small city carried out his advice on time. Let me throw something to you here. What if the recommended approach is a very difficult option? You know, the poor man, they went to the poor wise man, and he told them what to do. You know, the Bible didn't mention what it told them. And in fact, the Bible did not say specifically that they fought and they were delivered. So possibly, possibly they didn't even fight. They didn't even fight. But there was something that the man told them to do, and when they did it, the king and his army that was about to come in and crush them did not do so anymore. That destruction that was about to happen did not happen. The Bible didn't specify that they fought the great king because sometimes the best way to settle issues will be to avoid confrontation. The best way would be to avoid confrontation. Sometimes what you will be told to do will be something very, very difficult to accept. And that is why you must ask yourself, are you really ready? Are you really ready to solve this problem? And are you really ready to achieve this great height?
Number two, you must work hard in achieving your goals. You must work hard. Give it what it takes. Put in serious efforts. Prepare very well. Prepare very well. By December this year, it will be on record that you won in 2020. By the end of this year, you will have a big testimony to share. Can that man please say proper email? Can that woman please say better amen? God will honor your word, honor your faith in the name of Jesus. Happy 2011. Say my dear neighbor, this 2020, you must work hard. Work hard at achieving your goals because God is with you. He is releasing more grace. So you do all that you can, and God will surprise you.
You must be responsible. You must be responsible. Marriage is not for every man. Marriage is a big, is a big honor. Is a big honor. Precious data has been trained, has been exposed to so many things in life positively, and in most instances has options as to who to marry. Eventually, you are the favored one, and the father is going to hand over that daughter to you. That is a big honor. In fact, the Bible tells us in Proverbs chapter 18, one of the inversions, two will live in one of those fashions, is the best treasure a man can receive in life is a good wife. The best treasure in life is a good wife. We have seen husbands that don't deserve the wife they married. A husband material must be a responsible man. You don't go into marriage and you know, you sit down and you just say, "Well, I don't have anything for food. I don't have anything. Welcome. I don't have anything for healthcare. I don't have anything to bring out." And you know, the country's rough, and you just move around friends while in a wait and talking about issues, doing nothing to generate some income. A husband material must be a man that is responsible. So, one who is responsible will not give excuses as a reason not to go out of his way to do what he had promised he would do. Things are rough, things are bad, but you must do something. Sitting down and doing nothing makes you an irresponsible man. In fact, if you even try and do something, and at the end of the day, despite your hard work, your horse, there is still nothing to show for it, you are not an irresponsible man. If you have done your best, and every day you are still doing your best, you are not irresponsible. But when a man, you know, gives in to discouragement, and why the problem they need is severe, he just, you know, sits down and concludes that he was not going to try anymore. And you are still in the marriage, and possibly now beyond the wife that has been handed over to you, there are children. So, being responsible means you must go out of your way to consistently seek for a solution, seek for a solution. I don't know how many times you have tried so far, yet there is nothing. By the time we are through with this last seven days of waiting, there is going to be an unusual grace coming upon you and your family. God Himself will make sure your hard work is rewarded. Can that man say an amen to the law? God will all know your hard work. God will honor your hustling in the name of Jesus. But never sit back and say, "No, things are bad. I've tried enough." No, no. If your eyes single is okay, if you are single, you can take that position. But if you are married, no way. You carry responsibility. You must be a person of industry. In Someone verse 3, it's clear in the scripture. Someone verse 3: "He said, whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Help me tell your neighbors, "Neighbor, God has come down to prosper you." Or show him what he will prosper. Where's your product? Where's your service? Where's the service? Orenda, God will prosper the works of your hands. He will prosper the works of your hands. He said, "I whatsoever he died not, he claims not, he confesses not, he claims." God will prosper anything you do, and he will even help you for them by giving you guidance on what best to do. What time is already running? You must begin to act now. So you must express serious commitment towards achieving your goal and solving the problems, meeting up with the responsibilities before you for the year. You must go the extra mile to ensure it is achieved within the set time. This year, by the mercy of God, your children will not be at home when they ought to be in school. Every bill, every fee to be paid this year, there will be divine provision. But God has shown you the fundamental principles: hard work, hard work. "Whatsoever he died shall prosper." Also, whatever your goals for the year, the responsibilities for the year, and whatever is a solution that has been adopted, you must make it a priority for a specific period of time. For instance, for each month, there should be specific things you are going to focus on. This week, there must be a priority for the week. Oh, hi guys, I was saying you this week, there will be weeks where your best friends cannot see you because there is something that you must attend to that week. It's happening. Oh, you, they can't see you that week because you are serious, man. Sometimes for a particular day, there must be a priority for a particular day. So you must have admitted your priority for days, setting days, weeks, months, setting months, quarter of the year, the year in particular, in general. And always have it in mind that it is what you invest in today that will determine your harvest in the future.
Number three, pay the price when necessary. Pay the price when assess. Mark 9:29. Jesus hath taught on prayer earlier, but this same Jesus now is saying in Mark chapter 9. And when he taught on prayer earlier, he even mentioned fasting. But there was an incident. There was an incident in Mark chapter 9, and the same disciples who had been praying could not even with the anointing, could not cast out the devil. They could not overcome the problem. And when he eventually came down, he ministered, the problem was solved, the boy was delivered. And then they asked, "Master, how come we could not cast out this from the devil?" And then Jesus said to them, "This kind cannot go except by prayer and fasting." Sometimes the fast could just be to 6 p.m. for just one day. Sometimes the fast could be for three days, seven days, 14 days, 21 days. There was a time we are led to fast and pray for 100 days. 100 days. We announced it. First, the first Sunday of December of that year, four weeks after our esteemed father and the feed Baba's every received the same revelation from God for the redeemed and announced the same thing for ready. So when we are going to have the fast, there was just one week difference. Even the time we were led to fast and the time they were led to fast was just one week difference. God will not tell you fast for a hundred days for something that can be achieved with a 10-day fast. No, no. God would not overcharge batteries. The moment that battery is fully charged, it's done. Stop. No more faster. Pay the price when necessary. Help me please ask your neighbors, "Neighbor, with due respect, are you fasting?" Less si one say, "Hopefully this week." Hopefully with great, because we've got out this opposite. So hopefully from tomorrow, I leave you. I love fasting. Are you, are you, are you? You know, you have a position in your service. If you are fasting, your wife is looking at you. From your wife, who your wife is looking at you because she has been monitoring you for the past 14 days. They pay the prize when necessary. It could be fast. Let's, let's just look at it. Spiritual expert of sometimes being the prize. It could be consecration of your body for marital breakthrough. Merit cannot stop sexual immorality. It is the fear of God that stops sexual immorality. It is the fear of God. If you can't operate with that level of fear of God before marriage, and you are still on that level, then in marriage, you will, you would, you go in the wrong direction. Better prize is the financial stewardship. Pay the prize. Go through whatever is the training that is required to achieve the goal. Go through the training. I've always used this as an example that if you observe and do check it out and always be conscious of it, whenever they are arrayed in long distance, you know, runners, you will observe that they are all always very, very slim. You can't find one amongst them. And the longer the distance, the slimmer they are. The longer the distance, the slimmer they are. How come there is no way, you know, if you find someone that is very, very, very fat coming out for marathon, Lagos marathon, you just know that that man, you know, he just showed up. He's interested. He's not a past winner. He's not a past at any level because any past win at any level would have had to go through a process. And that process, there is no way you go through the process and you won't burn fat. It will burn. It will burn. No matter how thick and stout on the fattest, it will burn. So the sliminess is as a result of the rigorous training that they must go through in order to be among the winners in that sport. If you truly go through the training, some teams must drop out. Pay the price. Some teams will drop out. Pay the price. Pay the price for such athletic could be fact. That to drop out in some other instead, it could be wrong attitude. Pay the price with is your attitude. You won't get to, they won't give it to you. It could be a bad habit. That habit has to go. If a particular thing would be achieved, if a particular challenge would be solved, sometimes the health issue I had. Way, but you know, I had issues with alcohol. I had issues with alcohol before my salvation. So the moment God, you know, brought about the work of salvation, the first thing the Lord took out was that desire for alcohol. And that is what any day. I remember that day, July 15. I shared with someone this called someone two days ago. I said, "Is now 26 years and six months I have never tasted 0.0001 percent of alcohol, even in the dream." In case you want to try in the dream, for my shock, is mine. For with God, all things are possible. God knew that, you know, this walk, we call your calling, no, you can't. You can have, you know, you can operate in your calling in with an alcohol issue. Alcohol, the problems are too many. So if you are still drinking and you have a call because a call of God upon your life in the reign of real ministry that will involve messages on, you know, repentance, holiness, and then of course, it's that issue that secrets in it will remain as, you know, in a very high hindrance to the promotion and upliftment that God wanted to bring about in your life and ministry. But this year, if at this month, yokes will be broken. That is why every morning when we come together to pray, after prayer turns given, the first prayer point is a prayer of sanctification, a prayer of purification. And we are connecting with the help of God. Whatever it is in anyone's life, because what could be a problem for this man could be another thing for another. Pay the price. And the number four, use a gradual and steady approach, preferably use a gradual and steady approach to achieve your goals. Let's, let's try to avoid the fire brigade approach, the last-minute approach. If there are bills to be paid by September, don't waste it. September to now, put resources together, save ahead of the time. And number five, be very focused. You must be very focused, especially in this generation where destruction is at the highest level. Everything now has been brought to your palm on your phone. Be focused and remember forecast until the goal is achieved. Avoid distractions, avoid procrastination. Spend enough time on your major priorities. Even Jesus speaking in John chapter 9, verse 4, said, "I must work the works of him that sent me while it is day. The night cometh when no man." Even Jesus did not have all the time. He didn't have all the time. Did you observe that? God knew there was still a lot of work to be done here, but God didn't keep him longer than the three and a half years. He had his own time. There was an agenda for Jesus while here on earth, and God spent as much as thirty years to prepare him, and the work started by three and a half years. The work was complete, his assignment he on earth was finished. Even though they act, they needed him, God took him. His time was all, his agenda was completed. So he was very conscious that, you know, we all have limited time. We all have limited time. There are some opportunities before you today, they will not be there by December. The same here, it will not be there by December. Sometimes seventeen's you can buy for half a million now. Give a little time from now, you, they will be telling you the last price is five million. The last price, and they will be doing you a favor to give you a five million. And the number six, always spend within your budget. Spend within your budget. Well, this one is very, is very straightforward. If you accept it and implement it, good. If you don't accept it and implement it, it will teach you. It will not teach you practically, and you possibly will learn from the experience thereafter. And then number seven, you must check your results and progress at reasonable intervals, possibly every month, in some instances quarterly. Because if truly that goal would be achieved this year, at setting intervals, which you begin to see a good, a certain measure of progress towards the ultimate target that you have set for the year. And to achieve this, is the last point. There must be regular inspection of whatever needs to be done. There must be regular inspection. There must be regular assessment. If you have, you know, given certain people some work to do, and they are working on something on your behalf, please check it out. Check it out. There are people who are out of the country, and they've been told that the project has already moved to roofing, has moved to roof. It only to discover that is that foundation. Check it out. So there must be regulated special assessment and evaluation to be very sure every detail of the action plan is being diligently carried out. And I'm so confident that 2020 is someone's year. 2020 will be your year in the name of Jesus. One of the things God opened my eyes to discover, he said, "And what is about to do now for this year and at this time, he said that whatever limit, whatever is limiting your progress, your advancement, he said it's coming down now to take away that limitation." And then he gave me understanding that that is one of the reasons also that he will release a double portion. He's going to release a double portion of His grace, is that point in his power, because the current portion cannot take you beyond a particular limit. So he's going to release a double portion. And it made me understand that is when he comes to, there are no anything. There are basically three measures of the anointing. Jesus was anointed beyond measure, and is the only one that has operated on that level. The next level is the double portion, the double portion of the anointing, and then there is the starting point. So when your own time finally comes for God to now take you to a level that is far above where you have ever would the best you have ever achieved in life, something more will be released to act grace up your right hand, you're the right one, the right hand. The Lord Himself this year, starting from this Monday, would take hold of your right hand. [Applause] [Music] The Lord will empower you for the kind of victory and success you have never experienced before. Whatever is not of God in your spiritual foundation that has limited your increase, your allotment, and expansion, by the reason of the double portion of His power that is coming down now, then the Lord Himself break the yoke of that burden. The Lord approach that limitation in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. [Applause] You know, one of those scriptures that God has used to challenge us in the past came after he killed his brother, was cursed not by man, by God himself. Now, this same Cain that was under a curse, the next thing you will read is that he built a city. After after because he built a city. And if you know the word, you are proud. The challenge comes is that if this man was operating on these on that such, you know, a negative, whatever this, he could achieve such a great height, then a man blessed by God like you, blessed by God like you, must be able to advance in the basic realms of life and then move beyond that to greater heights. [Applause] Every basic need of life that is still an issue, by the intervention and the grace of God coming upon your decision, those things now shall be overcome and provided in the name of Jesus. The Lord take hold of your right hand. The Lord move you this year to a higher level, spiritually, in ministry, maritally, a higher level. Your status will change. The Lord take you higher in your career, financially. Did not take you higher? Take you higher. He will move you from mass of IVA to a new realm of financial abundance. The Lord take your right hand. He is taking you somewhere. He is taking you somewhere. He is taking you somewhere. He is taking you somewhere. Somebody say, "I will follow him." [Applause] This year, you will move forward. You will move forward. You must move forward. [Applause] Whatever will not allow you to move forward in the direction that God wants you to, the Lord Himself take out a tree for the foundation. [Applause] [Music] God will make you a blessing. And so on here, your dad is late, but you have a mother still alive. The Spirit is ministering to me that God is going to begin to use you to give joy to your mother. God is going to make you a blessing too. Ha. And then many other people. Whatever had been tampered with or known to you in the spirit realm concerning your life, this month of January, the Most High God is repairing it completely. Whatever has been working against you, the Lord Almighty silence. Nothing. Let the evil out our power that has been speaking against you, the Lord silenced them permanently. And the Lord is going to compel certain people to do you good. God will compare them to favor you. They will favor your platform in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Or thank you, Lord. If you are the first song, the first song could be fast on and a family, or fast song of your mother, please step forward. Lord will lift up every man you have caught out at this point for a very specific petition. Please tower, raise our hands, both hands. Receive from God what he has called you out for. Receive it from God. Receive it from God. Receive a new blessing from God. Whatever was projected against you because you are the facade today, the Lord delivers you from them in the name of Jesus. First son is very, very, very, very critical, very important. Kill the facade. That is enough. You have finished the family. The facade that was what happened on the Passover night of the Exodus. The first song is so critical. The first song is consistently exposed to all kinds of arrows, especially spiritual arrows. Oh, we can't count the number of times your name's would have been taken to different week at all times. But today, this wasn't planned. This is not even, we're not even in a procession, a deliverance session. The most hired that has called you out on this 14th day of our waiting settles you right now. What has been altered in your life? That power of God restores and use it now in the name of Jesus. Sometimes it says some just because you are FS or you become the heir parent because you are the first son, you become, if you become the next king, you are the future king, the future king. The dimension of glory that is tied to your life and destiny, the hand of the Lord come upon you now to take you into the new dimension. You will operate at your peak potential. Every voice and power that has been working hard to silence you, they will fail. You will not be silenced. You will not be silenced. Every attack on your health, every attack on your health, every attack on your health in order to people you is if this is the strategy, your health, your health today. Whatever they have tampered with in your health is divinely corrected. You are healed in the name of Jesus. The first song carries responsibility, carries responsibility. Even Jesus, even Jesus, even Jesus had to hand over his mother to one of his disciples, John, to take care of his mother. The first song often comes with measures of responsibility. Every responsibility that God has ordained you to carry now and the days ahead, you will successfully with the grace of God, with the help of God, you will successfully handle them in the name of Jesus. [Applause] Lord, we pray that whatever spiritual operation needs to be carried out in some specific lives standing on this altar right now, Lord, before they go back to their seats, Lord, let that oppression be carried out. [Applause] [Music] The Lord are going to afresh for a nest higher level. You will get there. Thank you, heavenly Father. In Jesus name.
