When asked about wanting to fade dark spots quickly and see real results, I am number 1 in the brightening serum category for 7 years in Thailand. Using it, I feel that my skin becomes brighter, redness reduces. From what would develop from red spots into dark spots, it stops at the red spot stage. Hello viewers, you are with Mo Daily here. As you can see, the name says it all. We are talking about one of the hero products that has been recommended for almost 10 years because it truly works. If you have dark spots and want them, whether they are acne scars, post-acne marks, or other melanin that might occur from the sun or anything else, to look better. This one is what I have always recommended to viewers throughout my time as a beauty blogger. As soon as it came out, I started using it and have continued to recommend it. Even though I have occasionally switched to using others, when someone asks about wanting to fade dark spots quickly and see real results, I always recommend C Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. This is not new, as I've done serious reviews many times for this product from Kiehl's. But as you know, currently, Kiehl's has released another new product to use together, which is Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Daily Retexturizing Triple Acid Peel. The name is very long, but let's just call it Triple Acid Peel. This one is a small blue bottle, the color is like this, I've dipped it for you. Let's dive into how this Triple Acid Peel, which Kiehl's has released to be used with the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, works. How do they work together, and how will they make our skin brighter and smoother? In today's video, before we start, don't forget to like this video, subscribe to Mo Daily's channel, and click the bell for notifications. These three things will ensure you don't miss any new videos. Let's go get brighter and smoother with two products from Kiehl's.
If you've been following for a long time, viewers, you'll know that I used to have quite severe acne problems. Of course, acne needs to be treated, and personally, I treated it with medication. I've never hidden how I reduced my acne, but there's a part that I had to do myself after the acne healed, which is taking care of dark spots. I believe many people dislike having dark spots on their face, whether they have fair skin or dark skin. Having noticeable spots or acne scars makes makeup application tedious, as you have to spot conceal. When I went to makeup school in Korea, I was like, "Oh my goodness, I had to carefully spot conceal." You know, it's not just acne; it's seeing even the smallest spots. This makes me observe my skin more, wondering if I might have been exposed to the sun recently or if it's due to aging. My tolerance to the sun and other things has probably decreased. And if I get acne, I still get acne, it's not like I don't have any. Seeing my bare face, you'll know there's still some. It leaves small marks, maybe not completely dark spots, but annoying red marks. And if not taken care of, they can eventually turn into dark spots. Therefore, recently, I've returned to using the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. I've used quite a bit of it. Viewers, I started using it again about a month ago, if I remember correctly, since returning from abroad. I started using it again because when I was abroad, I was exposed to the sun sometimes, and when I was out all day, I might not have reapplied sunscreen. So I started noticing my dark spots becoming more prominent, which is why I returned to this one. Coincidentally, Kiehl's said that since I've been using the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution for a very long time and have recommended it so much that it's been number 1 in the brightening serum category in Thailand for 7 years. It's safe to say everyone knows that Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution works, otherwise, it wouldn't be selling as number 1 in our country. First, let me go back and explain why I still think Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution is one of the serums I want to recommend, and why I myself keep returning to it when I feel my dark spots are becoming more noticeable. The first reason is the ingredients. The main ingredient in this is Activated C. Why does Kiehl's use the term Activated C? Because they say it's a stable and highly effective form of Vitamin C. So, even in a clear bottle, it can maintain its condition well. Normally, when we talk about Vitamin C, it cannot be in a clear bottle, viewers. It must be in an opaque bottle to prevent Vitamin C from degrading. But Activated C in Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, they say, is made to be stable and can be in a clear bottle like this without any problems. The second is Buffered Salicylic Acid. Salicylic Acid has the ability to help reduce skin congestion. It's like Kiehl's wants us to have brighter skin and also helps to bring out the pigments that might be hidden under the skin, so they can exfoliate and disappear eventually. When we combine Activated C with Buffered Salicylic Acid, Kiehl's says it accelerates the ability to make our skin brighter and fade dark spots faster. This is why many people think they see results from using Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, because it speeds up skin brightening. And another ingredient in this is Glycerin. Kiehl's says it focuses on providing moisture because sometimes when we exfoliate, viewers, it makes our skin dry. When we use anything that aims to accelerate results and make spots disappear, there's a high chance it can make our skin dry, flaky, and weaken our skin barrier if we exfoliate too much. So they added Glycerin to help maintain skin moisture. Therefore, people who use Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, especially from my personal experience, don't experience peeling or dryness because it's not trying to exfoliate too much. As for how to use it, there are two ways. For those who have never used it before, normally I talk about it many times, but if you haven't used it yet, I recommend two options. If you only have dark spots in a few areas, but the rest of your face is bright and you're happy with everything else, you can just drop this and use it as a spot treatment for the areas you want to fade. But if you want overall brightening, you can apply it all over your face. Mostly, I use it all over my face because I want my entire face to be brighter, not just in one area. So, you can do both.
Now that we've talked about how to use it and the ingredients of the Dark Spot Serum, we need to talk about this Triple Acid Peel, which has just been released. Kiehl's says it should be used together with the Dark Spot Serum because this one has the ability to exfoliate our skin and prepare it to receive the good ingredients in the Dark Spot Serum. Therefore, this one is a step that must be used before using the Dark Spot Serum. As I mentioned, when we hear the word "peel," we think of peeling, right? But it's not that harsh. First, I want to confirm that it's not here to make us peel off our skin. But the Triple Acid in this, the three types of acids in this, will help exfoliate our skin to reveal new skin. And besides that, it prepares our skin to be in a ready state to receive other skincare products, so that it can receive the effectiveness of the next skincare product, and the next, and the next, whether it's a serum, cream, or anything else, much better. Think of it this way: if our skin has congestion or dead skin cells covering it, applying anything will not penetrate. After a while, it will come off, right? But if we clear away the dead skin cells, the congestion, and anything that blocks the absorption of other products, then those good products will penetrate the skin and accelerate their effectiveness. In short, Kiehl's believes that exfoliating the skin will help other products work to their full potential. So, we need to see why it helps, how it helps, and what ingredients it has to help exfoliate our skin. The term Triple Acid, as I mentioned, means there are three types of acids: AHA, BHA, and PHA. Why three? Because these three have different sizes. Viewers, if there was only one type, it would only penetrate to one layer and exfoliate only the surface. Another one, which is smaller, penetrates deeper and exfoliates the lower layers as well, reducing congestion. The molecular size of the acid affects exfoliation and where it exfoliates. Okay, that's enough science explained in a way that's not too scientific, in our style. These three together form what Kiehl's calls the Triple Acid Blend, which is a combination of the three. The percentage of the three acids blended together is 8.6%. It's divided into AHA at 5.5%. The AHAs they chose to use are two types: Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid. As I mentioned, AHA exfoliates the surface, dead skin cells, etc. For BHA, they chose Salicylic Acid. We've already talked about Salicylic Acid in this Dark Spot Serum. They provide BHA at 0.18%. This penetrates into our skin and helps dissolve sebum, excess oil, and congestion that causes acne, reducing congestion underneath. Therefore, our skin will not look too oily and will not be as congested if we add BHA in the appropriate amount. And the last part is PHA. The PHA they chose to use in this is Gluconolactone. This is provided at 3.3%. It's considered to focus on gentle exfoliation and makes our skin brighter. So, it becomes the Triple Acid Blend at 8.6% as I've explained. Another ingredient in this is, of course, when we talk about acids, many people worry, "Oh, if there's a lot, won't it be uncomfortable on the skin? Will it cause stinging?" They say what allows this to have "Daily" in its name is the inclusion of ingredients that focus on soothing the skin, which is Gluconate. This helps soothe our skin, like helping to ensure that when you apply the peel, it doesn't feel stinging or irritating. This is an anti-irritant ingredient that Kiehl's has included in this product.
Now that we've understood the ingredients, many people probably have a question: "How do we use both of these products in our routine?" Okay, first of all, both products can be used daily because Kiehl's has formulated them in a suitable dosage for daily use. For the morning, I recommend using only the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution after applying toner. Then apply this, followed by moisturizer and sunscreen. That's enough. Because Vitamin C, which is in the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, besides helping with exfoliation, we also know that Vitamin C is an antioxidant and helps brighten the skin in the morning. For the night, use this one first. Wash your face, pat it dry, and then use the Triple Acid Peel first to exfoliate the skin, as I mentioned, to remove congestion and anything else as effectively as possible. Then, follow with the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. Normally, I use just one pump for the whole face. You don't need to use a lot because it's quite watery and can be spread evenly. It's not a sticky serum; it absorbs into the skin comfortably. Men can use it too. If your partner feels their skin is becoming dull, has many dark spots, and you want their face to be brighter, I recommend they use this one first because they won't feel that the texture is annoying. You know, some men don't like the feeling of stickiness on their skin. So, they can use this. Then, follow with this one, also one pump. Mostly, I use it all over my face too. One pump. I thought the Acid Peel would be more watery than the Dark Spot Solution serum, but actually, both are comfortable on the skin. Using them together doesn't make the skin feel sticky or uncomfortable. So, use them together at night. In the daytime, don't forget one thing, which is very important: you must apply sunscreen. Whenever you exfoliate your skin, I recommend protecting it in the morning because new skin that has just emerged is sensitive to the sun, viewers. If you use these products, many people have problems saying, "Why does my face feel darker than before?" And I ask them, "Do you apply sunscreen?" Because normally, you don't use anything that exfoliates. When it exfoliates and new skin appears, and you get direct sun exposure, the skin becomes even darker, it can become dull more easily. It doesn't make your skin thinner, viewers, but our new skin doesn't have the same resistance to the sun and pollution. Therefore, we must protect it. In the morning, apply a lot of sunscreen, SPF 50.
Personally, after using these two for a while, as you viewers can probably see, quite a bit has been used up recently because I feel my skin has become brighter. And as you can see, it's smoother, and the dark spots that bothered me after my acne healed have reduced. Redness has decreased. From what would develop from red spots into dark spots, it stops at the red spot stage. Yes, this is a point where I feel it works. And I feel that when I apply makeup, I don't feel the bumps or anything brewing underneath because I feel that it's being exfoliated sufficiently every day. This makes our skin look smoother, and when I touch it, it feels smooth. When applying makeup, the face looks smooth, not bumpy. Therefore, if anyone has problems with dull skin, red or dark spots from acne, or unwanted dark spots that you want to fix, this duo is a new brightening duo from Kiehl's, from the Kiehl's Clarity line. This is a pair that will help your skin become brighter, as Kiehl's recommends. And personally, I feel it delivers on its claims. I don't feel like it's overwhelming or anything. So, try to incorporate the Triple Acid Peel into your routine. If you want the results I've described, try opening your heart to this blue bottle. One more thing I want to warn you about at the end is not to use too many acids. In the sense that you don't need to layer multiple acids. If you choose to use one, just use that one alone to see results. Because sometimes, many people are impatient and want fast results, so they exfoliate from cleansing to toner to serum to cream, everything exfoliates. That will ruin your face. Don't use too many acids, because otherwise, it will make your skin worse. Maintain your skin barrier well. You might want to use products that are soothing to make your skin feel comfortable and protect your skin barrier, so that exfoliation is done appropriately and not excessively. I hope viewers have understood Kiehl's new product, which Kiehl's wants to offer to people with dull skin problems, which is this Triple Acid Peel. Let me know how it goes. Today, I want to thank Kiehl's for partnering with me and sending this new product to use. I've used quite a bit of it already and will continue to use it for my skin's brightness.
