The POWER of your PRONOUNCEMENTS

Today, by the grace of God, we're sharing on the power of your pronouncements. The power of your pronouncements. And we take in our introductory a test from the scriptures in Proverbs chapter 18, verse 21. The power of your pronouncements. Proverbs chapter 18, verse 21. It says, I'm reading fast from the King James Version. Proverbs 18:21. He says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Dead and alive in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Then we look at the Good News Translation. Good News Translation, Proverbs 18:21. He says, "What you say can preserve life or destroy it." What you say can preserve life or destroy it. So you must accept the consequences of your words. The power of your pronouncements. The words that you speak carry great power. The words that you speak have the power to preserve life. The words that you speak also have the power to destroy life and destroy demons. There are spirits that are constantly and consistently waiting to execute the words that people utter at different points in time. They are waiting to execute and fulfill words that have been spoken. So you must recognize that words have consequences, and your own words have consequences. Whoever you make pronouncements upon will be affected by whatever you have spoken, whether good or bad.

Then when we look at another scripture, this time Proverbs chapter 15, verse 4. Proverbs chapter 15, verse 4, Contemporary English version. It says, "Kind words are good medicine." Kind words are like an antidote, good medicine. Words have power. Then if we look at the Good News Translation, Proverbs chapter 15, verse 4. Good News Translation, Proverbs 15, verse 4. He says, "Kind words bring life, but harsh words crush your spirit." So we see the power in words, the power in the spoken word, and the power in pronouncements.

And then the Voice Bible sees a word of encouragement. He is the one who receives you. I pray that from today, God will use you to consistently author words of encouragement, especially in challenging times such as we are.

And then in Proverbs chapter 17, verse 27. Proverbs chapter 17, verse 27, Amplified Bible. It says, "He who has knowledge restrains and is careful with his words." A man of knowledge, a man of wisdom, a man of insight, a man of understanding, restrains his words. He is careful with his words because he knows the power that resides with words that are spoken. And he says, "And a man of understanding and wisdom has a cool spirit, self-control, and an evil temper."

Then the Easy-to-Read version, it's a rephrasing. Proverbs 17, verse 27. He says, "Intelligent people choose their words carefully. And those who know what they are doing remain calm." And I know I'm speaking right now to intelligent men and women, old and young. And if I will say that if you are in this group of intelligent people, one of those things that should manifest from you is that you'll be careful in your choice of words because intelligent people know the consequences of words. When asked, they choose their words carefully.

Words are powerful, more powerful than most people recognize. Words have the power to create. Words have the power to destroy. Words are not ordinary expressions. Human words convey spiritual power. Words can impact life. Words can kill. Words can invoke a blessing, and words can evoke a curse. Words carry power. Words are powerful. Your pronouncements are powerful. And going forward, you must recognize that words could be your path that you should utilize and express positively in every realm of life in your journey. Your art, what are seeds? Words are seeds. The mouth is the ultimate vehicle for the release of the Word of God. What you say with your mouth, and a positive or negative, I die, a blessing or a curse, can create something. What you say with your mouth can start something. What you say with your mouth can sustain something. What you say with your mouth can increase something. What you say with your mouth can perfect something. What you say with your mouth can resist something. What you say with your mouth can prevent something. They watch you speak. What you say can reduce something. Your words can stop something. Your words are powerful. Your words can terminate something. Your words cannot prove something. What convey is spiritual power. They cannot prove even a government. Your words can remove something. Your words can kill something, and your words can destroy something.

The power of your pronouncements. What is a pronouncement? A pronouncement is, first of all, a formal declaration. A formal declaration. A judge in a in a court, he has a lot of authority and power, and ultimately he's going to give a decision that would be executed, that will be enforced, that will be complied with at the end of the case and his judgment. However, in the process of the case in court, the judge will say quite a number of things. Many of these things that he will say in the course of the case, here in the case, and interviewing, listening to the various persons that are speaking and the legal representatives, many of these things do not yet amount to his judgment. So what he says would not be enforced. What he says will not be complied with. But there will come a point in time when the judge will now make a formal pronouncement, a formal declaration of his decision. A pronouncement is a formal declaration. A pronouncement is an authoritative announcement. "I hereby decide, we decree that from now on." A pronouncement is an authoritative announcement. A pronouncement is an announcement that is in principle oratory, explicit, and formal.

Now we go on to the topic of our onto the subject of prophetic declarations. Mark 11, verse 23. And I'm making reference to three versions here. Mark 11:23. First of all, Easy-to-Read version. He says, "The truth is, you can say to this mountain, 'Go, mountain, fall into the sea,' and if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, then God will do it for you."

Mark 11, verse 23, Living Bible. He says, "In reply, Jesus said to the disciples, 'If you only have faith in God, this is the absolute truth: You can say to this mountain, "Yes, rise up and fall into the Mediterranean," and your command will be obeyed.'" Your command will be obeyed. All that is required is that you really believe and have no doubt.

Mark 11:23. Then we'll look at the New Living Translation. New Living Translation. Jesus speaking, he says, "I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and roll into the sea,' and it will happen." Wow. And it will happen. And Jesus wasn't talking about pastors. He wasn't talking about prophets. He wasn't talking about apostles. He wasn't talking about evangelists. This grace has become conferred on every believer. Whosoever, whosoever shall say. And this was Jesus himself speaking here. And he says, "When you make that pronouncement, it will happen, but you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart."

Prophetic declarations. So one dimension, one way you would exercise your authority conferred on you by God as a believer in the proper use of your wealth and the power of your words is in the realm of prophetic declarations. All pronouncements are words. We're not always pronouncements. And one dimension of words that carry a lot of spiritual implication and weight is pronouncements. And when you begin to make pronouncements deliberately in the realm of the spirit, and entities of a spirit, and with the understanding of the spirit, then you are operating in the realm of prophetic declarations. In Mark chapter 11, verse 23, here Jesus said, "Whosoever." Who saw an every believer. That means every believer that has the God-given ability. You have the God-given ability to speak positive, faith-filled words. And spirits are waiting to execute the words you have spoken.

From today, from today, the Lord Almighty will honor your words as a blessing over your children, over your family, over your platform, over different realms of your life. In the name of Jesus, let the Lord hear your amen. Mark 11:23. Jesus is teaching us here that there is need for you to make prophetic declarations of what you desire, what you desire that God should make happen. So I quickly explain what prophetic declarations are.

What is a prophetic declaration? First of all, a prophetic declaration is when you exercise your spiritual authority through verbal declarations. When you exercise your spiritual authority through verbal declarations. Make reference to Mark 16:17. Look for Mark 9:49. And then secondly, a prophetic declaration is when by faith, you make decrees of what you desire God to do. Job chapter 22, verse 28. When you make decrees of what you desire God to do. Thirdly, a prophetic declaration is when by faith, you confidently declare what you are expecting God to do, even what you are expecting God to do. When you confidently declare, you are operating in a realm of prophetic declarations, and it carries weight. An example was in 1 Samuel chapter 17, verse 14, verse number 17, verse 40. And you could see how David, on the day he confronted Goliath, he exercised his authority by confidently declaring what he was expecting God to do to Goliath. And he voiced it out, and he didn't say it in fear. He didn't say it religiously. He said it confidently and with his sense of authority.

And number four, prophetic declaration is when you exercise authority over situations, over situations, over situations, over circumstances, over problems, over your environment, over communities, over your nation, and declare God's Word into effect. Luke chapter 10, verse 19. You could see the key word there, "over all the power of the enemy." In Jeremiah, thus says chapter 1, verse 10, you see another reference to the key word, "over," giving you power over nations and kingdoms. All the nations and kingdoms. And in James chapter 5, verses 14 to 15. James 5:14 to 15. Teaching on the prayer of faith. "Is anyone sick amongst us? Let the elders of the church anoint him with oil, pray over him, over him, over him." That is prophetic declarations.

And the fifth kind of prophetic declaration is binding and loosing. Binding and loosing. You have the power to bind, and you have the power to loose. In Matthew chapter 18, verse 18. Matthew chapter 18, verse 18. Jesus was speaking and said, "And whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." So binding, the prayer, binding, loosing includes setting loose people, setting free people, setting releasing people from captivity, from affliction, and releasing the blessings of people, releasing the virtues of people, the gates of people that have been tied up through demonic wickedness, sometimes in witches and witchcraft cover, sometimes in in the votes in the depth of the sea by the marine kingdom. I pray therefore right now that any blessing ordained for your life that has been held, that has been seized, that has been locked up by the wicked, spiritual or human, the Lord Almighty release your blessings back to you in the name of Jesus. Let your amen connect with that prayer. The Lord Almighty set free your gift and virtues and every major promotion you are dating to experience at this time of your life. The Lord Almighty set it free into physical manifestation in the name of Jesus. Whatever they have used to lock up the womb of that woman from successfully conceiving children, that yoke is broken. You are set free and set loose from the yoke of barrenness in the name of Jesus.

So imagine Matthew chapter 18, verse 18, the New King James Version. "And whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven." You know, this implies seven things. If you don't take the initiative to make specific pronouncements, everyone will not act without your pronouncement. You must take the initiative. Heaven is waiting for you to make the pronouncement. The Lord is waiting for you to bless your son. The Lord is waiting for you to make pronouncements upon your daughter. The Lord is waiting for you to make pronouncements concerning that sickness. The Lord is waiting for you to make pronouncements upon your nation. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. But the initiative has been given to you. So heaven is waiting for you to make the pronouncements. And based on whatever you say, based on whatever you decree, whatever you command, the angels of God will be released by God to enforce what you have spoken, to enforce what you have decreed, to enforce what you have commanded. And from today, God will give you a clear confirmation of this grace upon your life in the name of Jesus. Let them himself hear you. See a man.

So when we are talking about prophetic declarations, it also includes the prayer of command. So from time to time, in your closet, privately, and also when you are praying publicly, one of those expressions we must hear from you is, "I command." "I command," and the Lord will enforce what you have commanded. Isaiah chapter 45, verse 11.

Prophetic declarations also include the pronouncement of blessing. Genesis chapter 27, verse 4. The pronouncement of blessing. So every one of us has been given authority to bless people, and God will honor and enforce, execute whatever we have spoken in the context of that blessing. If a father has the authority to bless the children, a mother has the authority to bless her children, the priest, the pastor over a congregation that God has given them the privilege to oversee, have the authority to bless members of the congregation. So when you begin to express this authority, making pronouncements in the realm of a blessing, then you are operating in the realm of prophetic declarations.

Prophetic declarations, on the other hand, also include the pronouncement of judgment. I said we said that earlier that words convey the power to kill and also the power to make a life. Words can kill. Words can preserve and sustain life. In Acts chapter 5, verses 9 to 10. Acts 5:9 to 10. You could see how Ananias and Sapphira were affected in the early church by the judgment of God. The first time when Peter was speaking, it was the Holy Ghost that he moved. As he spoke, the Holy Ghost moved and struck down the man. And when the wife came and also continued in the script that she and her husband had put together to lie to the church, this time around, it was Peter that made the pronouncement. And the moment he made a pronouncement, the Bible tells us that she fell, and she was gone.

Prophetic declarations also include pronouncements to revoke, pronouncements to cancel, pronouncements to nullify. God has given you the authority to pray with converts, pray with people, and revoke any kind of covenants that they have entered into which they are ready to renounce. And once they pray the prayer, renounce such covenants, you can declare such covenants broken. You can cancel such covenants. You can nullify such covenants. In the same vein, prophetic declarations of prayers in the realm of breaking of curses. 2nd Kings chapter 2, verses 18 to 22. And he made the declarations about the waters of Jericho, the river of Jericho, and that same river that had been cursed and operating under a negative effect of a curse for so many years was instantly healed. I declare by the grace of the Lord, standing right now, that any curse, any spell, any arrow of affliction that is working against any department of your life, by the mercies of God, that curse is broken today. By the mercies of God, that spell is neutralized. By the mercies of God, every evil yoke they have placed over your life, over your family, is today broken in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let the Lord hear you say amen.

So prophetic declarations also include pronouncements to dedicate someone. So when babies are brought to church for baby dedication, when a man of God's ministry is operating in the realm of prophetic declaration, when he dedicates that child unto the hands of the Almighty. So they also come up pronouncements to purify or sanctify something. Every day when we pray over food, when we pray over drink, over water, we are operating in prophetic declarations. "I bless and sanctify this meal. Whatever is unhealthy, close the part, purify the part, to sanctify the part, to ensure people the part, when shown before the public and children, the reason a secret informant." It also includes the power to make pronouncements of deliverance, pronouncements of freedom, pronouncements of healing, and so many ways that prophetic declarations are expressed.

So Jesus was speaking in Mark 11:23. He said, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain." And mountains, when he said mountains, he was referring to many things, inclusive of spiritual obstacles, human obstacles, difficulties, problems, challenges, trials, sicknesses, diseases, demons. So through prophetic declaration, you can resist and remove spiritual or human obstacles. So God expects you to speak to things. Speak to situations. Speak to circumstances. Why? Everything that God created hears the Word of God because they were created by the Word. Whether human, animals, plants, even the sun. Even the sun obeys the spoken word. In Mark chapter 4, verse 39, Jesus gave a command to his disciples. He gave a command to a stone, and they instantly, immediately, there was a calm, perfect calm after he gave that command. So at different times, Jesus gave commands to different sicknesses, and those sicknesses, diseases, and the spirits behind them disappeared from the lives of such people. So therefore, by faith, you should give specific commands to the mountains that you will encounter. Mountains also that you will encounter in the lives of people. You'll be privileged to pray for. Mountains of challenges, mountains of afflictions, mountains of spiritual attacks. Give commands to those mountains. And Jesus said, "If you would not doubt in your heart, the Lord will honor your words that you have spoken." You can command the mountain to be removed. You can command the situation to change for good, and God will make a change for good. I decree right now to someone listening to me that from this very moment, the Lord stepped into the situation in your life and changed it for good. From today, in the name of Jesus, the time is coming very soon when you will look back and you will remember that from today, from this very day, a change played out suddenly concerning that particular situation in your life. If you are that person, let God hear you say amen. Let the Lord hear you say, "I receive divine intervention," and so shall it be for you in Jesus name. Whatever you need to do against the enemy, prophesy with your mouth, and the Lord will enforce it. Whatever you want to see happen to the forces of darkness in spiritual warfare, prophesy with your mouth, and the Lord will enforce it. And let me let you know, these words are not limited by distance. There is no distance in the spirit. Through prophetic declarations or pronouncements, you can speak your desire or blessing to someone's spirit that is far away, in a different location, different city, different nation, different continent, and the word will go forth. Wherever we are, the word will go forth to them. We have seen distance happen both positively and negatively. For instance, in Matthew chapter 8, verse 8, a Roman military officer came to Jesus on behalf of his servant that was tormented by devils back home. He traveled all the way, and when he had the opportunity to see Jesus, Jesus was ready to go with him and minister to his servant. But he said something that actually pleased the Lord so well because of the faith expressed. He said to Jesus, "I am a man of authority. I have soldiers honor me. I give commands to the soldiers to go and go. I tell them, 'Come,' and they come." Therefore, I recognize you as a man who carries spiritual authority. He said to Jesus, "Speak that word only, and my servant far away shall be healed." And Jesus was amazed, and the Lord was pleased with him. And the Lord looked, check this out. Do you know that when this man eventually got back home, he was greeted with the news that his servant that was seriously tormented when he left had suddenly recovered? I said to Saul right now, you will recover now. I said to Saul right now, that that member of your family that has been down will recover now. She will recover now. He will recover now. In the name of our Lord Jesus. Then this man asked an interesting question. He was particular about timing. So he asked the servant, "At what time was he healed?" And they told him the particular time that the servant suddenly became well. And the man recognized that that was the same hour that Jesus spoke the word. There is no distance, and speed and distance can never hinder the expression of prophetic pronouncements.

So I quickly just run through with you these steps on how to make prophetic declarations. One, you must be specific in your declarations. Be very specific. Whatever you really want to happen, you want God to make happen, be specific about it. Jesus, God said in Genesis 1, verse 3, "Let there be light," and what happened? There was light. Well, he was specific. "Let there be light." And for other specific things to happen, he gave a specific command. There are different areas of your life that you need to make specific pronouncements over your life, your health, your destiny, God's purpose for your life, your marital life, your marriage, your spouse, your children, your family, your loved ones, and the spirit of someone you are praying for who is not physically present, your business, your job, the works of your hands, your finances. Make pronouncements over these areas, your streams of income. And then specific problems, specific illnesses, specific locations, specific seasons, specific time. This year, this month, this week, today, tomorrow. And these specific problems, for instance, could be a sickness, it could be a covenant break. The specific covenant, not just covenants generally. Sometimes the spirit needs to be addressed by the nature of the spirit, witchcraft spirits, marine spirits, or cottage spirit, husband spirit, wife spirit. You need to address them specifically for them to be dislodged permanently.

And then two, you must speak the most relevant scriptures. For instance, Mark chapter 4, verses 1 to 10. Jesus was ministering there. It was left in the wilderness with Satan to be tempted. And what did he use? He used prophetic declarations for every occasion that he was tempted by the devil. He quoted, he declared the appropriate scripture. So you must speak forth the most relevant scripture at different times and situations.

And three, you must be persistent in your declarations. You must be persistent in your declarations. I leave you with a word of insight so you can understand the dynamics of how it works. Just three major lessons. One, about the operations, prophetic declarations, the process. The process of removing, for instance, Jesus says, "Speak to the mountain, and it shall be removed." Now, technologies, the process, the exact process or approach that God will use to remove the mountain is at the discretion of God. Jesus cast the tree in Mark chapter 11, and by the following day, the tree had withered. Now, in some other instances, the tree could be set ablaze. The tree could be uprooted by storm. The tree could be uprooted by flood. So God can cause it to be enforced by the force of nature or by human instruments. And this is very essential, please take note of this. When you pray prophetic pronouncements concerning healing, listen to this. Sometimes it can happen, the healing can be executed by God supernaturally. And sometimes the healing can also happen through medical solutions or medical intervention. You need to understand the dynamics of how it works.

Then the second aspect of it is timing. The timing of removing the mountain is at the discretion of God. Sometimes it can happen instantly. Sometimes it can happen in 24 hours. Sometimes it can happen in a week, in a month, in a year. Take note of this. Jesus cast the fig tree in Mark chapter 11. The fig tree did not wither instantly. It didn't wither instantly. It was still there, even after Jesus cast it. That measure of grace and anointing had cast it. It was still looking fresh. But by the following morning, as the disciples were coming again with him, they noticed that the tree that he cast yesterday had withered. Sometimes it could be a week. Sometimes it could be a month. So you have to have patience.

And lastly, fear and doubt can disconnect the move of the Spirit. Fear and doubt can disconnect God's move in response to prophetic pronouncements. Mark 11:22 to 23. That is why Jesus started by saying, "Have faith in God." "Whosoever shall say to this mountain and shall not doubt in his heart." He emphasized, "And shall not doubt in his heart," because fear and doubt can disconnect the move of the Spirit. And I'll leave you with an example in Matthew chapter 14. Matthew 14:28 to 31. Jesus was walking on the sea, and Peter was so amazed by what he saw, and he told the Lord to also call him up to do the same. And the Lord told him to come. And instantly, the supernatural started happening. Peter was walking on the sea. The moment the sovereignty, Peter became afraid. And the moment fear entered into him, what happened? He began to sink. Peter began to sink, even though it was after Jesus had spoken, even after he had spoken, even after the miracle had initially started manifesting. So fear and doubt can disconnect the move of the Spirit.

I see you from today entering into a new level of spiritual authority. Wherever you are, lift up both hands onto heaven. I perceive and Lord Almighty releasing a new measure of His anointing and grace upon everyone listening to this message right now. The Lord, from today, from today, give more power to your words. Give more power to your pronouncements in the name of Jesus. From today, the Lord make every pronouncement coming forth from your lips manifest with greater speed in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Whoever you bless from today will be blessed by God. As you speak words of healing, God will bring forth healing testimonies. As you speak words of deliverance, the Lord will set out devils and bring forth testimonies of deliverance. And so shall it be over every realm of life in the name of Jesus. I decree therefore that you are blessed. Your spiritual life receives new anointing. The Lord Almighty releases more grace for insight and revelation in the Word of God. From now on, you shall walk in a higher measure of the anointing and power of the Most High in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Every hour of debt, untimely death, premature death, sudden death program, that the Lord will return such arrows back to sender, back to sender. It shall be well with you. You will fulfill your divine purpose here on earth in the name of Jesus Christ. And I pray and agree with you that that which is your major heart desire at this time, the Lord Almighty, by His mercy and favor, turn them into a joyful testimony. So shall it be in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are confident the Lord has spoken to you right now, let your amen be the loudest amen. Praise ye the Lord. Hallelujah. So shall it be in Jesus name. We have prayed. Thank you so much for joining us this day in God's presence. And I am so convinced, I'm so convinced, I'm so convinced that the Lord has touched you. The Lord has impacted into your life. The Lord has ministered to you. In fact, the Lord has operated, carried out an operation even in the life of someone listening to me.
