Hello everyone, and welcome to Sathu Ka Channel. This is our 10th episode together. First, let's talk about the amulet from Luang Por Guay Wat Kositaram, located in Sing Buri province, Chai Nat. Today, from this channel, we will discuss the photograph from the year 2555 BE, also known as the "Mongkol Thavorn" (Eternal Auspicious) edition.
This photograph from 2515 BE is a black and white photo. The back features a stamped lion emblem, Luang Por's robe, and a "Phin" string. This edition was created by Ajarn Tao Suphan. Ajarn Tao Suphan is a disciple of Luang Por Guay, whom Luang Por Guay referred to as "Ai Khru" (that teacher). Ajarn Tao was also a teacher of communication and wrote Luang Por Guay's biography for the "Namo" magazine. If you've seen the "Namo" magazine, you'll know that Ajarn Tao wrote Luang Por Guay's biography.
This is a photograph of Luang Por Guay, and Luang Por himself said that no matter how many times it is copied, even a hundred or a thousand times, it will still be sacred. Some people carry it in their bags for protection against ghosts, spirits, or possession, and it can help. This photograph is considered to have high efficacy.
This photograph, the "Mongkol Thavorn" edition of Luang Por Guay, was consecrated in three ceremonies. The first was at Wat Kositaram, Luang Por Guay's temple. The second was at Wat Chantharam, which is Luang Por Mo's temple, also in Chai Nat province. The final consecration ceremony was at Wat Khok Kamnot, where many esteemed monks gathered to bless it. These included Phra Maha Surasak from Wat Pradu, Luang Pu Reng from Wat Dong Khwaen, Luang Por Mee, Luang Por Perm from Wat Pom Kaeo, and others like Luang Por Wichai from Wat Pa Sak and Luang Por Poon. This ceremony involved many highly respected monks and was a significant event.
If you observe this photograph, you'll notice it doesn't have a watermark. It has a texture like orange peel paper or chicken skin paper. You can see it clearly if you look closely. I can even zoom in for you to see. It has a texture like orange peel or chicken skin paper.
Personally, I consider this to be another significant amulet. I personally like the year 2555 BE. It's a good edition, and the name "Mongkol Thavorn" is very clear. The creation process was well-executed. If any of you find one, you can certainly venerate it. You can venerate it and consider it for worship. Observe the paper's texture and the robe.
The 2555 BE edition comes in three types. From my research, the first type is the paired amulet, like this one. The second type is in a rectangular shape, like this. The third type is like three sheets of paper, in this style. I have examples here. The back of some has a lion stamp, some have a stamped lion, and some have a stamped astrological chart. There might also be red or blue dots. You can check for these if you find one. If you encounter one, keep it. It's not too big or too small, just the right size. When framed, it looks like this. It fits comfortably in a small frame.
This is another edition that is worth paying attention to and is considered very good. Personally, I find it to be a beautiful photograph, a black and white image of Luang Por, clearly visible.
