Okay, oh yeah! It's the day the medals are handed out at the Commonwealth Games netball competition. Welcome to the Coomera Sports Centre on the Gold Coast. And since its introduction to the Games in 1998, the netball gold medal is always the last one to be decided. The sporting rivalry, 140 years in the making, is world number one Australia will compete for gold against world number three England. For the first time in Commonwealth Games history, welcome to the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. It's been 12 days of action-packed netball, hasn't it? We've watched the big four wrestle the might of the African nation Horizon. We've witnessed netball take center stage once again with some of the biggest stories of the game. The best two teams on paper are here, yet to meet this tournament, and today they'll battle for the final gold medal of the Commonwealth Games. So, Gordon in commentary alongside one of the great legends of the game, former Australian player, over 100 games. You've been in this predicament before, Catherine Cox. Welcome to the coverage.

Listen, I'm going to go straight to the last five times England have played Australia. It's got better. We go back to 2016. They were down by 14 and 20 goals. In the last two years, four goals and four goals. Under Tracy Neville, they are vastly improving too, vastly improving. And no doubt the talent of the players and their abilities has improved, definitely. But for me, it's the headspace. It's how much now they cope with those precious situations. Watching the semi-final against Jamaica yesterday, when it got close, I thought England would have capitulated here, but they didn't. They pushed forward. So, you just saw shots there. Tracy Neville, she was a player in '98. She has a silver medal, or a bronze medal, should I say, to her name. But never have the English been in a gold medal game. Every previous Commonwealth Games has been fought out between Australia and New Zealand. So, we are making history here today.

Lisa Alexander, well, she's been blessed with options, hasn't she? Cap, and we've all been sitting to see what would be the starting seven for the Australian Diamonds on gold medal day. There she is, the coach. Talk me through them, Cat Cox. Well, as we see here, the starting seven: Caitlin Bassett is going to start in goal shooter with Susan Pettit, Maddie Robinson in wing attack, Kym Rebely in centre. So, a different inclusion there from yesterday's semi. And Lauren Gaze on the bench. The joys of so much talent, and Lisa Alexander has used every little bit of it. White, Bruce, Watson, Weston, and Steph Wood. And again, England also fairly blessed. Will Aguerro get the lineup? The captain? Well, it doesn't look that way at the moment. Harten and Housby in goals, Pittman and Guthrie in the mid-court. Beth Cobden, so hasn't started many games there. That's the different one you'll see at wing defence. Ebony Beckford-Chambers will start over the captain of Wesley, teaming up with Geva Mentor. So, again, plenty of talent on this bench as well. The captain of Boise, Hathaway, she's been great for them when she's entered the game. Gibson, Clark. They've definitely have some impact players, haven't they?

So, what about Beth Cobden? A big job for her today. Lines up against Maddie Robinson. Absolutely huge job, and to be given the nod shows great faith from her coach, Tracy Neville. Robinson, well, she's going to keep you busy. Number one for goal assists, and 24 a game has had the ball on a string, and she is the link between the defence and the attack for the Diamonds. She's a critical member of this lineup. And what about this lady? How superb is she? She's one of the best, if not the best goalkeeper in the world. And will get the nod against her teammate from the Sunshine Coast Lightning, out here in the Australian domestically. Geva Mentor against Caitlin Bassett. This is a mouth-watering lineup. Can match up. Can't wait to see this one. She features in all the stats. Geva Mentor, second in deflections, fourth in pickups. She will fight for them, and we know how capable she is. So, can't wait for this one.

Right, there's the shooting in for the Diamonds, the captain, Caitlin Bassett. To your right, screen, what a day this could be for that lady on the left, Susan Pettit. She's had two silver medals around her neck. She missed the selection in 2014. Today could be one of the... look, look at the smile. This could be the biggest day ever to Susan Pettit. Susan Pettit's family, her pet pig Cyril, and everyone out there that loves this lady. Let's not forget Eric and Harvey, the dogs. But you're right, and Susan Pettit, I don't think had her best game in terms of her play yesterday. Cannot question what she does with the ball, though. 97 from 99 shooting at the moment for this tournament. Unbelievable stats. As the crowd in to see the Diamonds and the English Roses go head-to-head. Joe Harten, another one that will be required. And Helen Housby, well, I've got to tell you, she's been, for me, the player of the English team. 100% agree with you. Doing such a great job, and I can't believe how much she's improved just over this tournament alone. She's sitting at 86 for the tournament, had a brilliant one at 83 against Jamaica yesterday. She is critical for them as well.

So, what will be going through the heads of all the players? Laura Geitz, of course, we've mentioned throughout this tournament. What a return it's been from her. 2015, her last international game. Pride in stepping on the court here at the Commonwealth Games, and has grown in every game. And I guess we expected that, didn't we? Have that perform in terms of court time. We thought would be the better come the right end of this tournament with our skill. Let's go out there, give the ball to one another, draw the penalties. On three. One, two, three. So, Caitlin Bassett gets final words. Her first big international as captain. Okay, but I don't know. We've broken it already. This is our house. Here we go. Well, isn't that a bit of fun inside the English camp? They're just pleased to be here, but they know they've got nothing to lose. So, that could be a nervous, nervous attitude coming up for the Diamonds again. How good has this crowd been? Not just today, but every day here at the Commonwealth Games. One of the most sought-after sports to see. And it's gold medal day. Australia, number one in the world, up against England, number three. So, time to bring the two teams out onto the court. The lights go down. The atmosphere starts to...

[Applause] 29 years of age, shooting that goal. It's 89 this tournament. And Housby, we mentioned before, cash, she's just been terrific. She has been so good. But it's this combination for me that has really been on. They've grown every day. But what about this lady? She's a dual international, but for the same sport. She's played for Australians and now plays for England. This is the lady they'll need today. Serena Gower, wing defence, just kind of in attack and in defence. Beth Cobden, big job for her, isn't it? Wing defence up against...

[Applause] [Applause] onto the court. Point for Australia. And what about the host national shooter, Peyton Massax?

[Applause] steps out. It's her second gold medal.

[Applause] that has been nothing short of sublime with this tournament. Maddie Robinson and Geva...

Uh, let's get this match underway.

[Applause] So, 60 minutes of netball to be played in the Commonwealth Games 2018 here on the Gold Coast. It's been nothing short of terrific. And the Diamonds, of course, in the bright golden green, heading to the right of screen. England in the red.

[Applause] And Robinson into attack immediately. Over the top. Oh, that's the danger of Gabby Simpson. Ball was lifted, and had enough time for Susan Pettit to get down.

[Music] Up the middle, swings to the pocket. Guthrie.

[Applause] Maybe that will be the trend for her. A great defence over the shot from... Wait, Dan Brownlee. Right now, can you think about it? Well, already the Diamonds not having the fluency and the drive in attack that they've had the majority of these games. Roses doing a beautiful job to hold them up.

[Applause] [Music] England Roses.

[Applause] Again, there's just no drive through that middle corridor from either team, playing parallel.

[Applause] So, this will be the first time that the Diamonds have felt that real one-on-one pressure. Of course, England playing a very similar style of defensive game. Of course, New Zealand more off the body, and so that of Jamaica. Bassett again, the captain, slots in the first two for Australia.

[Applause] Look at the work that Simpson's doing. Chelsea Pittman, who's been their go-to girl, struggling to get horses.

[Applause] And as expected, both sides shooting high into the 90s this entire tournament. This is where everything. Chambers will be so dangerous for them. She is physical, and her job will be there.

[Applause] Oh. [Applause] England. Oh, that looked good. So, again, forced to go sideways, Australia off the centre path. Defensively smart work. Maddie Robinson, you just saw that screen she set outside the circle, got Ebony Beckford-Chambers.

[Applause] I can't even tell.

[Applause] Well, terrific start from both sides. This is really what the crowd have come to see. You'd like to see it go down to the wire, I imagine.

[Applause] Oh, again, look at the defensive pressure here from the Roses. That's where the pressure's relieved, and yeah, it looks like she lifted, although we drew a grin on that one. And a couple of simple errors then, two footwork calls in the Diamonds.

[Applause] Just steady. So, this is where the pressure from England has been terrific right across this transverse line.

[Applause] Valiant headed on the drive. Oh, gee.

[Applause] Trips over her own feet. Look at the work here from Gabby Simpson, as I said, been wearing Chelsea Pittman like a glove. Got the tip. Bramley chased it up.

[Applause] On again, and does she will give you that for 60 minutes? Who's come to play today? Vice-captain Gabby Simpson.

[Applause] Chelsea Pittman will know she's got a tough day at the office for 60 minutes out.

[Applause] [Music] Have another look at the work here that Gabby Simpson's doing, and trying to keep it in. Disappointed in herself.

[Applause] So, things not looking overly clean or concise, is it for Australia up front? And full credit to Mentor and Ebony Beckford-Chambers. I think this is a terrific move, starting Beckford-Chambers. She's impacted the game for them throughout. But what can she do up front? Guthrie.

[Music] [Applause] Tough challenge from Laura Geitz. Late challenge, and Guthrie goes down. And she'll just ask to have the floor. Just light from the sweat. Watch this effort here in the air for a long time. That's the one that Geitz loves more than anything. But a little late on the challenge. Let's see if England can utilise this one.

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] Will make the most of every opportunity. They look terrific early. England. Well, that wasn't just Geva Mentor.

[Applause] That ball had three Roses on it. So, the first signs of frustration, really, from coach Lisa Alexander. She's had it reasonably easy.

[Applause] So, Australia needs to settle.

[Applause] These two sides actually come in with the least turnovers, but they're making some...

[Applause] And Geitz, time to get to it. It's dangerous if Australia continued down that path.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] In the first quarter, there's still six minutes to go. And Brownlee, this is where things are breaking down though for the Diamonds. There's no fluency through court. The defence is exceptional from England.

[Applause] Not the best choice from Pettit.

[Applause] So, England, can they punish the Diamonds early?

[Applause] Good timing out of the circle. A much safer delivery going to Harten up, and a beautiful ball. I thought, I think thought they came off an Aussie foot.

[Applause] The Australian Diamonds have had such an easy run. Their average winning margin has been some 50 goals. Leading in, and really, this is the first time they've been challenged. Across England yesterday, the one-goal win over Jamaica to make their way to this game. They'll know what pressure is all about. It's lacking opportunity. I think Cogden's doing a great job closing down Robinson. We said that to be the matchup. There's an open...

[Applause] [Music] This is where they need a ball side movement. Both Harten and Housby running away for the Roses. Well, the crowd are wowing every single ball in this game. Need to be reminded there's a long way to go. Sneaks are on the baseline. That's a terrific play from the Roses.

[Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Well, the Diamonds defence is getting plenty of turnover ball here. It's just this area getting through and converting it. Chambers is Alexander. Tracy Neville giving the nod. Ebony Beckford-Chambers, of course, she spent time playing with both West Coast Fever in the Adelaide Thunderbirds out in the Australian...

[Applause] Robinson, great vision and delivery. Moments of slow, and then moments of just flawless speed.

[Applause] [Music] Over the top. Pittman. Good solid set up. Joe Harten, which is that strong he'd give it a ball, but all over it. So, there's Neville, terrific coaching yesterday to get this English team across the line. The switches were made. Compton's having a brilliant first quarter. Absolutely. Nice long arms there over at Robinson. Pettit's got to drive through. If she hangs out of the circle, it takes no pressure off Caitlin Bassett with a two-on-one. I went to go the two-on-one there was rebellion, and she slipped on the ball, and that is, I say, a very nervous shot from Susan Pettit.

[Applause] [Music] And England level it again. 90 seconds on the clock. That was the captain, right of screen.

[Applause] The ball was released, but she took too much of the body, according to umpire John O'Brien.

[Music] Immediately on to her role in defence. That's what you want to see from all your attacking players. Plenty of, plenty of time on the clock.

[Applause] [Music] Cranley, about the same distance. She was nervous from before.

[Applause] Under pressure here from world number three in England. They lead by one at quarter time, 14 to 13. Well, Kath, we did chat on there about Australia not having any real competition leading up to this point. They certainly have now, don't they? Here it is. The Roses are doing a brilliant job in defence, as are the Diamonds, but they just can't convert at the...

[Music] At the moment, onto the circle. You need to go one, and then go, "Okay."

[Music] Just when you come out, honestly, it's awesome what you're doing. Don't overcomplicate it. So, turn quickly, sight it, and place the ball. You don't need to bake it, do anything, but it turns on your money to it. Being sure that that ball is going. If you're not happy with it, uncomfortable, you go back to line and reset. I've asked them to stay on ball side options, you're always up, particularly...

[Applause] Because otherwise, we're running that way, and then all right. So, 15 minutes of play done and dusted. Gold medal day in the netball. Australia, England. Cast the stats. Can't really be separated, can they? Shooter percentage, spot on the money. Two more deflections for Aussie, but two more intercepts, two than the English Roses. Turnovers now even up. There's the penalty's blowing out for England. They'll need to be careful of that. Don't want to give Aussies any easy ones. And really, that just goes to show how close the margin is in this one. Kathy, just mentioned England up on the intercepts. They are behind Australia. Australia averaging 10.5, England 7.5 in terms of intercepts per game. So, that's a good return for them this first quarter. It is a brilliant return. Let's just have a look at some of the highlights from the first quarter. There's Gabby Simpson, she was in it early, getting lots of tips and chasing it up. And Susan Pettit, here, well, they've had the options, the Diamonds. Pettit in the front, or as we normally see, that's it at the back, just moving up a little bit too early. Geva Mentor, well, she knows massive style of play, and so far she's having a good one. The Roses, well, it's been some patches of brilliance in that attack end as well, likewise from the Diamonds. The easy one over the top to Bassett. We'll see that for the majority of the afternoon. It's a beautiful timing here coming in from Helen Housby, and the long bomb on the buzzer to keep it interesting.

It's the first time we haven't heard Australia say, "Let's just take the score back to zero zero." They've used that all week to challenge themselves. Well, England are here, and they're the ones doing the challenge. About to get underway here in the second quarter.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] So, the whistle blows. England now to your right of screen. Australia by one.

[Applause] Wasted moment for the Diamonds.

[Applause] That's exactly why Lindsay Watson would have been born into the mix. One hand and the ability to keep it in. But no backup. She's at the top to pick up Steven, and that's why he hunts down that ball. Pittman and Housby, Guthrie driving well. They're both on the same side there.

[Music] You just heard Tracy Neville, the coach, talking to Joe Harten. Lagging with ball in hand, just about steadying and not trying to do anything too fancy. And that was good enough. We don't often see that. Both the Diamonds out on the centre path, and they're no second option. So, a little bit of confusion creeping into their game. That's a win for England, isn't it? Because that's where the communication starts to break down. Everyone goes a little bit more self-centered. Would that be right? Absolutely.

[Applause] Well, you call that an intercept.

[Applause] [Music] Anyhow, that's what Watson's, Watson will give you. She'll work and work. Wait till it opens up. Beautiful touch over the top. So, the two teammates are going just about the leather, aren't they? In that circle. Mentor and Bassett. You said that to be the matchup of the day. You enjoying it? I am loving every minute of it. And yes, while they're teammates and mates, that is all out the window for the next 45 minutes, and they're playing for your country for a gold medal. Absolutely. So, good pressure here now from Australia. Guthrie eventually opens up and finds Pittman. Too easy through the middle for... And a good return at the post.

[Applause] Well, Joe Harten, 10 from 11, 91%. Housby, not missed.

[Applause] Contact. Wing defence. That's good. The contact, just with a bit of movement there. Hit it. Sets the penalty off to Bassett, and Caitlin, 10 from 10.

[Applause] [Music] Got such a big reach and step on her, hasn't she? So, there's the Welsh team looking on, and very, look at them enjoying themselves. Probably wish they had could be out there for the work to be done. Better build-up from the Diamonds. Great drive onto circle edge. Not shooting them up. How good was the take from Guthrie though? They keep going. England transition, flying through court. Need this goal. Well, that's a confidence goal for my liking for England.

[Music] [Applause] Not the best player to swing the ball from one pocket to the other, because you've got to clear both defenders in the circle. But they've been doing it well so far. England say it's working for them. Again, forced to go long. Can't make it. And a good defensive rebound, set up from the Diamonds. Geitz. So, hugging the sideline. You can see on that vision there, everyone to your right of screen. I'll try and centre this up. Ah, contest from Guthrie.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] And again, looking to try and open the court up. Watson does that. Fire terrific defence. Pressure coming from England. Sidewing defence, and Geva Mentor. Outside arm placement of ball hasn't been great, has it? To the captain in Bassett. Golfing's obstruction.

[Applause] Has been dynamite this tournament. Do you think she might make the court at some stage? Look, the thing is, you can bring her on, and it's not going to skip a beat in the goal circle, like we're seeing. She's had better stats returning in terms of volume and accuracy than the cup. And take them back with options. Lisa Alexander, what does she do in a tight game though? That's the question.

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] Well, again, confusion between Watson and Robinson. Both the same movement. Now they find the drive for the misunderstanding. And I'm putting that down to the work that Geva Mentor's doing. She's creating so much confusion around the body of Caitlin Bassett. She is best on court by a mile. Well, by a marathon, given it is marathon day today. Goalkeeper. Beautiful set up here. It's a shame they missed it.

[Applause] So, England continue to nail the post. Accuracy not at all the problem for them. 18 a piece. Defence contact against. Still sitting up here by two, but struggling with their fluency through court. That's a better build-up. A good one too from Pettit and Robinson. Haven't seen much of that.

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Again, just using the one-two, the English to move themselves closer to the post. Out here. Well, she came into this tournament saying that she would have no fear whatsoever, and she's playing exactly like it. Oh, Guthrie, that's a massive tip and the chase.

[Applause] The delay coming from this transverse line to the top of the circle. You called before, Cath, Guthrie and Cobden just doing an enormous amount of work out the front defensively, and Beckford-Chambers just supreme inside the goal circle.

[Applause] So, Australia hold on to a lead by one, halfway through this second quarter.

[Applause] Dufferin not happy. She worked so hard to get that ball back, and England spray them.

[Music] Back the Chambers out of play. The contact was the call. Headed swings, opens, goes one-two with Watson, finds herself right under the post. Surely this is given. That's been two really quick. Need to apply a bit more defensive pressure through here. That's just almost too easy. Gets a deflection. Chelsea Pittman, very strong wing attack, probably playing some of her best netball. What a day to do it. Well, and to do it, and that just shows your class. Well, Simpson's been good, but it's been more off the ball, hasn't it, than on her direct opponent. I can't go to Fed.

[Applause] She does. You're kidding me. What are you doing? Those moments, you will shoot a cat. I would have shot it too. There's no reason she shouldn't. She's not lacking any ability at the...

[Applause] Minute. So, the caution going to Guthrie. Intentional contact on Watson across the top of the circle. Again, another quick double. Susan Pettit and Lizzie Watson. She's found a game plan now.

[Laughter] [Applause] Make contact on Watson from Cobden. So, Australia by two, and a chance to go out by three. Under the pressure of Mentor. Extraordinary. So, that ball the way of Australia. Hard to call. The umpire was in perfect position.

[Applause] And once again, Mentor just playing with Caitlin Bassett, isn't it? The feed is struggling to find it around here.

[Music] What's the work here? Just the movement again. Geva Mentor. She looks like she's got space. Sunside moves at the last minute. But I reckon that was the right call in terms of all that. The beauty of slowing my replay. Young guys, don't...

[Applause] [Music] The pressure was starting to build for Australia. The valve released, and Housby. Now, she makes it hurt at the post. They level once again. The contact penalty. So, certainly Australia, the cleaner of the two sides, but not necessarily to their advantage. Susan Pettit again, in no man's land. It's just breakdown, isn't it? Yeah, she needs to get in and sweep the circle, come back out again, create some option. Oh, she's just done that, and eventually, Geva Mentor, as it was. Australia make their way. They're having to work for this early. England, we knew this was a moment for them, irrespective, but they are going to make every opportunity count. Joe Harten, all over Facebook today, talking about how big this was. Her mum brought the flag out back home, had a few holes in it, she didn't care. They're up and about. England, just think top shot. Check achievement. Mentor, the work she's doing on Bassett. Wing defence, you're both out of play for obstruction. A bit of placement coming from Robinson, and lucky Caitlin Bassett puts a bit of a smile on her face, though.

[Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] But they've got options. England. We heard Tracy Neville say that if you don't like what's on offer, go back and find that. We've just done that. Uh, great chase by Housby. She dropped it, and she hustled for it, didn't she?

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] Nervous. Left, right. Eventually took the shot. Tanya Rop's lifted screen. And Tracy Neville, they're great mates now, coaching together. Construction and the congestion. Cap, I can see you signaling with your hands. What's going on? Well, they're just all. This is what tends to happen in a pressure moment. Everybody tries to help, but in doing that, they actually crowd each other. Just gotta go back to what they do well, Aussies, and that's read off each other. Well, we've seen it happen along the transverse line, off the back. The last two. It's gonna pass their strikes. The big questions. So, leading by one, a minute now on the clock. Guthrie, terrific drive, circle edge. Has to go backwards. I don't worry about that though, do they? Look at that swing and open down B. Wow. Serena Guthrie, goal keeper. That is just sensational.

[Music] This is an England side playing with so much more maturity than I have ever seen. Absolutely. It's in touch. They've been on the improve over the last two years. They've been screaming for more funding back home. Surely, irrespective of results, the sponsors will come running. So...

[Applause] [Applause] Five seconds. So, the penalty shot from Joe Harten to put England in.

[Applause] And couldn't nail that one. All tied up here. The netball gold medal match. Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. Australia and England, 25 apiece.

[Music] Gee, what a game. I mean, there's been plenty of terrific games this tournament. Will be really hot to bring it to the gold medal game when so many thought Australia were just clearly a class above. Cap, England fans, England players, England parents, England must be standing on their feet. What an absolute cracker. And we said at the start that they were the best match team, and we are seeing exactly that. What a contest. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in the Diamonds' change room. This is the first time that they move in there under any sorts of pressure. Half time. The stats. And 93% accuracy to Australia, England's 86%. What about the rest, Cap? Well, look, I'm going straight to the turnover. 13 now for the Diamonds. That's the most that they have had in any game at this early stage. So, that's an area of concern for them. They'll be happy with their shooting percentage, happy with their pickup in terms of intercepts and deflections, but boy, they've got to put a lead on throwing the ball away. Penalties for England again, a concern. We'll need to rein that in. But so even everywhere else. So, 30 minutes of blinding play. Kath, I've got a big question I'm going to ask you later. Talk me through these highlights for now. Well, England, they were just sublime. They had an answer everywhere, but they were patient, weren't forcing it, waited for the openings. There's a beautiful one into Harten at the post. You heard Tracy Neville say, "If you don't like it, send it back." Wait for the openings to come, and they've done that well. Chelsea Pittman, she's been instrumental in attack for them. And the Aussies, well, I thought Susan Pettit started to find her game plan. That's the quick double play. Get in there, start to get some ball yourself. We know Caitlin will open up at the back, and she's done that well for them. Caitlin Bassett, but it's just this patience here in attack for the Roses that's been great to watch. Taking that quarter by one. There was a little bit of frustration in the long ball that's never going to get through against the Diamonds. This swing ball that's been working for them beautifully.

They are raring to go. 13 minutes of netball left, and they make a miracle here for themselves today. Of course, a silver would be brilliant. A gold would be unbelievable. Look at them in the crowd, they're loving it. And there's the Aussies, all dressed up and ready to go. The Diamonds, 25, England, 25.

[Applause] [Music] So, they look relaxed, don't they? Cat, looks so relaxed. I mean, at the end of the day, they're happy to be here. I've come to you as a former athlete. When you go into the game with no expectation on your shoulders. And not that you've probably been there many times playing for Australia. But that's been the advantage for England today. Surely it really has. And I said just moments ago, it was that game yesterday. Everyone thought England had played their gold medal game. They got to better than they'd ever got before. This was pressure off netball for them. And they thoroughly enjoyed it, didn't they? And the rewards came. Well, I've got Tracy Neville heading my way to Western Australia for a few days after this. I think I'm in trouble. It's going to be a bit of fun. All right, let's have a look at the stats as they were for the 60 minutes of this extraordinary gold medal match. England 52 over Australia 51. Well, I expect they're going to be fairly close as they are. The deflections, Aussies had more. But it was the turnovers that really hurt them in the end. Seven more turnovers than the English. Well, what a day it's been here on the Gold Coast. Commonwealth Games 2018. The final day of play. The gold medal match. It was Australia and England. Jamaica. Well, they beat New Zealand in May to get a bronze. And smiles all around for them. They came back. They fought hard. But the day is owned, as it should be, by these ladies. They were simply superb. The England Roses. Commonwealth champions and gold medalists. The crowd now filters out. And the games comes to an end for netball. The closing ceremony tonight. And then the party will go on and on and on. A drink to celebrate the best day in England netball's history. [Music] So the moment being captured by Beth Cobton. What a day it's been at the netball.
