Hey everybody, good to see you again. So let's talk about the conjunction between sun and Chiron.
So the sun is someone's vitality, how they think themselves up, the core of the identity, the uh authentic personal expression. And whatever the sun touches in sinistry, it lights up. It shines a flashlight or the the light of consciousness onto or within if it's a house um whatever or wherever it is.
So when we have the sun in a conjunction with Chiron, we have someone who has their solar power, their confidence, their essence of the ego sitting right next to someone else's wounding, shame issues, uh where we can feel unhealed. Gangly. Chiron is the scab. And for some of us that scab can be fairly healed. For some of us it can be open seeping mess. It it can be in progress of healing. Um, some people are just starting out. So you really do have to look at the state of the wounding in the one person and how is the sun aspected in the sun person.
Generally with the conjunction, this is going to be a positive aspect because the sun is warming and um thawing the wounds of the Chiron person. If the sun is aspected in a very difficult way, if it is reactive or aggressive or dominating, this is where we can have some mixed results with sun chirine conjunctions. Because it's a conjunction. Both the sun and Chiron, if they're in the same sign, both the sun and Chiron are expressing through the same kind of archetypal way, that's where you get the compatibility.
But if the sun has some issues in terms of self-control over reactivity, ego, egoism, if if we don't have a good sense of self or if our identity is um having some issues with confidence, if if we don't have in place a core solid or you know at least mature enough ego structure. The Chiron person can get the raw end of the deal with this conjunction. That we will have some things that are compatible because we have that same general general way of going about something. Same general way of going about the self with the sun. Same general way of going about healing and wholeness with Chiron.
But if the sun person lacks empathy, if they are not aware of the strength of their ego or their defensiveness or their aggressiveness, the Chiron person tends to shrink over the course of time. The shame issues that reservoir of pain because it is a conjunction and they're right next to each other and there's not outright conflict like there would be with the square in opposition. It's like the Chiron person just goes quiet or mute or is less noticeable. That's what it is. Yeah. The Chiron person just doesn't make a lot of noise and doesn't expect over the course of time if the sun is aspected difficultly the Chiron person doesn't expect warmth and validation. We may be happy to just stay out of the way of defensiveness or the reactivity of the sun person.
And so this can actually be a very attractive conjunction in the beginning of a relationship. And if the sun person does have some issues with with their solar power, they're not conscious about the degree that they are exposing and casting this light of consciousness onto the Chiron person and the sun person has some issues. Uh regarding self-control or um aggression. This is an aspect where it's like the Chiron person just puts up this hedge or membrane of quiet resolve. And if we can stay out of the way of the blast of the sun because what it shines on us if the sun is aspected difficultly does not make us feel good. The way that the ego, the identity of the sun person is in contact with and blended with the most vulnerable, open, seeping wounds of the Chiron person. The Chiron person retreats and hides, but it's like you're trying to hide from the parent right next to you that's holding your hand and guiding you around. And the sun person in any aspect of Chiron does remind us of a dominant parent and will bring any existing unresolved father issues in the Chiron person to the surface.
So, we don't speak up as the Chiron person over the course of time and we certainly don't advertise or display our insecurities because um we've learned better. We've learned that there isn't the warmth or the understanding or the the room to bleed that we had in the beginning. And so it is something that will aggravate in a more chronic way, a chronically quiet way the existing difficulties in the Chiron person and it will get in the way of intimacy over the course of time because the Chiron person is not prone to opening up to exposing themselves. The sun person is not well aware of the dynamic consciously that's going on here. It's kind of similar to having the sun in the 12th house. Not exactly the same because that's a place. Uh, Chiron is a it's a um aspect of our self, but it has the the same general effect of lighting up a place. We're talking about the 12th house or space within us a um behavior that direct exposure exposure and illumination is embarrassing for or is uh humiliating in the Chiron person. I think that is the the main word that we deal with with the hard aspects from sun to card. And this would be considered a hard aspect if the sun is wrestling with um aggression or difficult aspects to the sun.
Um, there is a wall that will be built between the two of us over the course of time. And once that wall is constructed, unless the sun person changes, softens, um develops some self-awareness around the strength of the light. That they shine on the wounds of the Chiron person. How they expose the Chiron person without conscious intention. Unless they they see that, they accept that and they are able to modify their behavior, the their output of their solar power. Rarely will we see the Chiron person trusting enough to try again to take that chance of exposing um those Chiron wounds, which when we do, it actually can result in an enormous amount of healing and relationship glue.
So, what if we have the sun in a a great aspect of the natal chart or or it it's just not in, you know, overtly uh difficult aspects and it's conjunct Chiron. Well, we usually just get the best out of this. The Chiron person does feel exposed. They do feel seen. They do have the conscious light of the sun lighting up all their wounds. But it is like a it's gentle rays. It draws us out. It makes what we've hidden from anybody else able to be seen and shared. We will stand willfully naked in front of the sun person. And you will get that with all the easy aspects between the sun and Chiron and the conjunction if the sun is itself uh aspected well or has the person has grown out of their um their difficulties that would bring a difficult experience to the Chiron person.
So there is this yeah this warmth and this um this appreciation for the sun person that the Chiron has that they can see all of their their warts and their scars and their ingrown hairs and they still want to see more and the Chiron person can over the course of time become more and more comfortable with that sweet exposure. And this can be a very bonding conjunction, but you do have to look at how the sun is aspected to see what is likely to come of it. Hope that was helpful.
