Creator Voice Replies is now available to millions of creators! When you see a comment you want to reply to, tap “Reply” and choose the sound wave icon to record your voice. Your viewers can like and respond to your Voice Reply - just like a regular comment! We hope this helps you connect with your viewers even more. We’ve lowered the subscriber requirement for the YouTube Shopping Affiliate program down to 500. This means if you're an eligible creator in YPP, you can now tag products in your content. To get started, head to the YouTube Studio, then the earn tab, then “Shopping”. Check the links below for more info on eligibility and how to get started.
Who Can Comment is a new feature that gives you the ability to limit comment posting to subscribers only, and adjusts how long a viewer needs to be subscribed before they can start commenting. This comment moderation setting gives you more control on who can comment and how your viewers engage with comments. Who Can Comment is currently only available on individual videos. But, you can edit this setting for multiple videos in bulk. To bulk edit who can comment: Head to YouTube Studio on Desktop, then ‘Content’. Select one or more videos and choose “Edit” then “Comments”. Select the “Who Can Comment” field and pick your preferences. Then Click “Update videos.” For more channel-level comment settings, you can always use community moderation settings in YouTube Studio.
Ask Studio is expanding to even more countries! Just click the Ask Studio Chat Icon in YouTube Studio to start a conversation. For example, select a prompt like "Summarize comments," or type your own question to get a response unique to your channel. Ask Studio helps you gather community insights, understand your analytics, and find new inspiration, so you can spend more time creating.
