We might be living inside a black hole right now, and the James Webb Space Telescope just found the first proof of it. This isn't science fiction. This is a real study that physicists are now seriously discussing. Here's what just happened.
The James Webb Space Telescope studied 263 galaxies deep [music] in the early universe. And it noticed something so strange, it broke every rule we thought we knew. Two-thirds of those galaxies were spinning in the same direction. If our universe was random, we should see half of all galaxies spinning one way and half spinning the other way. Like a perfectly balanced cosmic coin flip. But instead, the universe seems to have a preferred direction. As if the entire cosmos is rotating together.
And here's where it gets truly mind-bending. There's a theory called black hole cosmology. It says every black hole gives birth to a new universe inside it. So when a giant star collapses and forms a black hole, a brand new universe is born on the other side. So every black hole is hiding a universe inside it, which means our entire universe, every galaxy, every planet, every breath [music] you take, could be sitting inside the belly of a black hole that exists in some other universe. >> [music] >>
